Alex after Henry says they need to keep it casual so Alex doesn’t fall in love with him: “ohhhh… get over yourself your majesty!”
Alex after months of being everything but casual and watching Henry cheesing while he sings Queen to totally just him, and Alex is so in love he could die: 👁️👄👁️ whooooops

I know we make this joke every time but seriously the Imperfects getting cancelled is my villain origin story. I'm so fucking tired of Netflix burying its small queer shows under bigger releases, doing fuck all to promote them, then shrugging and saying they underperformed so they gotta go. And of course this was one of like 7 shows with an asexual character and one of like two with an actual ace main character. God I am so FUCKING OVER IT.
Anyway, go stream Dead End: Paranormal Park, The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself, Young Royals and Warrior Nun to support more queer shows that Netflix has buried under Big Mouth, Manifest, From Scratch, Blockbuster, Love is Blind and whatever other shows they're actively promoting right now.

lowkey losing my shit at the comedic potential of mid/late 18th century British-Danish relations, particularly this part
During its heyday, the Danish East Indian Company and the Swedish East India Company imported more tea than the British East India Company — and smuggled 90% of it into Britain, where it sold at a huge profit.
first off, that's hilarious. second, the potential of Alfred and Mathias running into each other because they're both smuggling tea to sell in England is fucking incredible. and if it's before 1772, then both Alfred and Mathias are members of Arthur's own fucking household.

Roshi@Destino: The Arcanine didn't bother to stare the Absol eye to eye. They were hardly worth it. "You act a whole lot like other royalty. You aren't much different. Using words and hiding behind them instead of facing the problem. A coward. You're only proving that Blaziken is right and you know it. Better shape up. You won't be ready for the shit coming at this rate."

ardyn: *approaching Ace with the assumption that this unwanted illegitimate child of kings wants the attention of his father* don't you want your fathers praise? dont you want his acknowledgement? you are the eldest, isn't the throne yours by right?
ace: *an entire ass isekai'd protagonist who is incredibly unmotivated by the thought of ruling a country and the paperwork that comes with it* no.
twenty years later:

After the successful meeting with Henry VI, Margaret, Henry Stafford and Henry Tudor travelled to Woking. Margaret and her son spent a week together at her favourite residence, and it appears that this was treated as a holiday by them and a chance to get to know each other again. For Margaret, who had already spent a considerable time apart from her only child, such moments would have been precious, and after leaving Woking, the pair travelled slowly with Henry Stafford to Maidenhead and Henley-on-Thames before Margaret once again passed her son over to the control of his uncle. By 1471, Henry Tudor was rapidly approaching adulthood: he was already older than Margaret had been when she gave birth to him. Although it must have been a wrench for Margaret to part from her child once again, she recognised that it was time for the boy to make his way in the world and that his uncle, who had shown himself to have they boy’s best interests at heart, was, for the time being at least, the man best suited to be his guardian. (...) On 11 November, Henry bade his mother and stepfather farewell and joined his uncle Jasper. Though neither Margaret nor Henry could have known it, they would not see each other again for almost fifteen years. (x) (x)
