*It all happened far too quickly for you to fully process it. What this other Destino did to you. You would have tried to defend yourself but the blistering speed in which Destino moved was overwhelming. Since when was Destino this quick and ruthless? It was well known that Prime Destino was not as strong as what they claimed. This Monarch Destino was on a whole other level. And no quips too. Not even a smile.

Pain sears from your hands. Seems the stones haven’t gone so far as to break any bones but you can feel the blood dripping from them. Trying to struggle seems like a waste of effort unless you want to completely ruin your hands. Your head pounds from the collision with the wall. The jagged stones that rose up to pin your chest and other limbs to the wall do not seem to want to budge. You’re uncertain as to whether a move would break them but it seems like it may be quite dangerous to try.*

*Monarch Destino pauses for a bit, analysing you. Carefully deciding what to do next. Their glowing red eyes pierce into you.*

Monarch Destino: Especially with your kind tossing us all down here to rot. Despicable, all of you.

Monarch Destino: Now, how best to deal with a vile creature such as yourself. Do I remove those precious wings of yours first? Or shall I leave those’d limbs permanently broken? Decisions, decisions. Perhaps I should let you decide.

*You notice something catch the Monarch’s attention. They appears to be listening intently to something or someone next to them. You hear quiet whispers but can’t quite make out what is being said. Whoever it is not making themselves visible at the moment, however. With a few nods, Monarch Destino turns back to you.*

Monarch Destino: Seems it’s your lucky day. My associate feels you may be more valuable alive. I’m certainly keen to gather more information about the surface Pokémon so that my plans come into fruition sooner.

*You feel the jagged stones tighten on your chest, making it slightly more difficult to breathe.*

Monarch Destino: I’m going to keep you like this. Use you as an example to those who may feel they have the authority to say whatever they please to me. However, if you cooperate, I may be more merciful and release you. Depends on whether the information you can provide is useful or not.

I'm surprised none of the others have said anything about it but I imagine they don't want to make you feel foolish. I wouldn't be surprised if they mock you behind your back. I'm honestly impressed that you have the confidence to think that looks good on you. Shows not everyone has a good fashion sense, unlike me. If I was you, I'd get rid of it. Wouldn't want to embarrass yourself any further.

*Destino approached Reshi, their smug face clear even in the darkness of night. Alongside them appears to be some sort of body pillow with their entire body on. Where on earth would Destino get one of those from? Something about it seems...off. As Destino's speaks, their voice leaks sarcasm.*

Destino: Reshino, so nice of you to host this little get together. I'm sure we will all have a blast. Me and my plus one are certainly hoping to bring some ✨✨ Destino charm ✨✨ to the evening. Now you might be wondering how I managed to find out about this event. That's a royal secret of mine. Not one I'm willing to tell. Oh yes, where can I put my belongings and get changed into my outfit? Do I get a room and a bed or are you going to make me, the most amazing Absol you've ever met, sleep on the cold, hard floor? Oh I do hope the room you're providing me is comfortable. You know I can't stand having an awful night's sleep.

“Anyways I would LOVE to know how you found out. I didn’t invite you specifically because of how rude you can be.” She stated plainly. However after a few moments, she sighed defeatedly.

“Since you are here however, I suppose you can stay. If it is necessary you can use my room to change for privacy’s sake. However there are no bed or other room accomodations. I’m sorry but the floor will have to do.” Reshi explained to them, knowing full well a sort of tantrum was sure to follow.

“We have plenty of blankets and pillows to make it more comfortable for you however.”

*Destino approaches the Absol with their usual saunter. They give the absol a jab with one of their claws.*

Destino: Hey. Wake up. I can't believe how some Pokémon can sleep. On this dirty, disgusting floor. It's like you don't care for fur hygiene. Couldn't be me. Come on. Perhaps try a bed next time. Or something better than this, buddy.

As Sol is woken by such a scare anf suprise he immediately gets overwhelmed, his heart pounds and his eyes begin to water as he gets extremely intimidated by the much taller, cleaner and overall stronger Absol.

He listens to Destinos words, scared that if he doesn't the bigger Absol would fight.. Sol's feelings are hurt he didn't think he was doing anything wrong sleeping where he was. He can tell though that Destino is not fully meaning to come off as rude.

Inari could not understand the dissonance before her. Her eyes saw Destino, the young prime she was so familiar with, but as though viewed through a lens of grime and shadow. They looked stern, unfamiliar almost, and so so tired.

Destino was proud and cocky and oh so full of zest. Destino cracked jokes and insults with equal measure. Destino was not disheveled, exhausted, and devoid of life. Destino was not quiet.

"Excuse me?" Inari asked, unsure. "Prime Destino, is that you? What has happened here?"

Her eyes were then drawn to the horn, cracked almost halfway in twain. Her chest tightened.

"Did someone... hurt you?"

*Another fairy type coming in, feeling that it's ok to roam their castle. Didn't these fairies know about the Underdark? Destino supposed that their reputation had not spread to the surface world as of yet, with the fact they had not been up there before. Then again, these Pokémon keep calling them Prime, their old title. Why was that? Might as well give fairy an answer before they put an end to her.*

*You notice their paw clench at the mention of this ghost type. They stare at you, working out their next move.*

Destino: Now, how do I best get rid of you? Considering I'm keeping one fairy alive, I'd rather not have more than one around. Just look at you. Your kind make me sick. Hmmm. Decapitation? Strangulation? Perhaps being mangled by my very claws would suffice? Or would you like to choose how you die, fairy scum?

*Destino approached Lief, fully dressed in their sleeping gear. What had happened had been on their mind for a bit and they needed to get to the bottom of it. Pointing a finger into his chest, Destino began to speak in a curt tone.*

Destino: You. Explain what had happened earlier. I don't want a tauros-shit explanation. I know I can be terrifying when I need to be. That's just how amazing I am. But your reaction was something else. Talk.

Lief blinked slowly. He looked down at the finger poking his chest, then back at Destino's face. He raised both paws to slowly push down their claws.

Lief: "B... before you ask, because I kn-kn... know you will. Don't. It'ss nothin'. You hear me? Nothin'... nothin'."

His voice sounded considerably more slurred than just earlier, especially with the way he enunciated "nothing". His stance was so wobbly that it might take the lightest of breezes to completely knock him over.

Lief: "And, a-and... that stuff earlier? That... that other stuff? Also nothin'. I don' gotta tell you nothin'. Yeah? Nothin'... an' there's no way you will ever- ugh, hold on..."

He paused to hiccup. He shuddered, looking genuinely sick.

Lief: "Geez... a-anyways, there'ss... nno way you will, ever, make me. Honestly, even if I d-did-"

His knees buckled mid-sentence, and he again fell right on his face. He near completely went limp.

A louder, muffled hiccup came from him some moments later.

Lief: "Ow..."

sphaeramjourney asked: Gloria stumbled into Lief with a bizarre outfit. It does not bother the Lucario, but the drunkenness what concerns her. She magically summons out a cup of water and attempts to offer it to him. By the Lords, are you okay?! Who gave you that uniform? and you can't be going around looking like that, what if you get yourself hurt?! Here, have some water!

Another groan came from the Simbobeon. He now sounded a lot more depressed. With the amount of alcohol he just drank, it was inevitable that it'd hit him full force like this.

For yet more moments of awkward silence, he just lied there. He didn't bother trying to get back up, or even lift his head.

His state of mind and his usual inhibitions all but eroded, he proceeded to speak his mind for the first time since arriving here.

And without yelling at others or belittling them, to boot.

Lief: "I'm not ok... I'm a loser. A wimp. A fraud, a liar."
