"CHARCOAL BITES..." Deoxys' gaze, petrified. Through the glamorous expression of his expressionless face, the dolled-up alien was fixated on the Legendary before him-- her words lingering on his mind.

He couldn't believe it. Charocal.. Bites.......... The platter of cinder met his gaze, unfliching. Deoxys was taken aback in ways he couldn't quite express, but Deoxys was not a quitter.

"UWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH-" It was as though Reshi had stepped into a storm. It was as if a wave had crashed directly into her face. One could mistake the moment for someone casting Surf. Two torrents of water beamed directly into Reshi. Despite not actually having eyes, Deoxys produced two streams from his expressionless face that somehow left his makeup undisturbed.

"THESE ARE THE GREATEST BITES I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I LOVE THESE CHARCOAL BITES. THANK YOU. I AM LITERALLY STUFFING MY MOUTH RIGHT NOW, AS YOU ABSORB THESE WORDS. THANKS, WHITEY."

Then, without words spoken, Reshi is given a mental response to a question she had yet to verbalize; "YES, OF COURSE.. IF YOU'LL HAVE ME."

AH, OH, OW, A BA- AAA. I FELL, BUT I AM HERE. I AM LATE, BUT IT IS BECAUSE FALLING IS SLOWER THAN FLYING. I HAVE AN INVITATION, YES! DO NOT CHECK IT. IT IS MINE. ANYWAYS, NOW THAT I HAVE FALLEN INTO THE LIFE OF THE PARTY-- YES HELLO. I HEARD FROM A TRUSTED SOURCE THAT THERE IS.. HOW DO YOU SAY.. MAY OVERS? MAYOVERS? MAKE MAYOVERS? WHATEVER IT IS, I WANT IT. HOW DOES THIS TRANSACTION WORK, SRIRACHA BIRD? WHAT IS THE TRADE? WHAT'S THE CATCH? REGARDLESS OF THE PACT, I SIGN IT. I ACCEPT.

A few moments after Reshi finishes, yellow pinprick glows from the side of the room flare with rage. “YOU!” A voice booms. A shimmering green light flashes like flames as the source of the voice is revealed to be-

A stunned silence befalls the man. “Is this….a sleepover?” he asks. “Are you all having a sleepover?”

“Is there an issue with that?” The small voice of Reshi pipes up, causing him to jump. “If you have a problem with Deoxys then you’ll have to answer to me!” She states with bravado, causing him to give her a strange look.

“No..I- so long as he doesn’t cause trouble I have no qualms I-“ He stuttered awkwardly, before a dawning realization hit him like a Tauros. “My cover-!! Lady Palkia will surely- Arceus above! My apologies I will be taking my leave!!!” A burst of wind leaves through the gaping hole into the night as quickly as he came.

“……Well that was weird. I hope you like your makeover though Deoxys!! Let me know if you want something else!” Reshi said excitedly turning back towards her friend. Were they friends? They had interacted so much it seemed like the most logical conclusion. It didn’t worry her too much. “We also have some food! I tried making something for everyone! I call ‘em Charcoal Bites! You want one??”
