Lief sat up with a jolt.

He looked behind him with wide eyes, blinking in disbelief as he saw nothing there. Perhaps he merely dreamed it happened?

His head pounded from having moved so fast. He took a deep breath; then a couple more. On the plus side, he didn't feel so woozy anymore.

But he had trouble remembering how he got here. Or what he'd done ever since he got here in general.

His paw moved to scratch at his chest as he sat there. His digits brushed against the maid outfit he was still wearing, and he froze.

Then he looked down.

And he panicked, going into overdrive in taking it off immediately.

He definitely did not remember ever putting it on. His first assumption was some sort of practical joke; that someone dressed him in it while he slept.

He tugged at it aggressively, tumbling over himself and scrambling to shimmy it off his body.

He never looked more relieved upon removing it. Standing on his fours, he shook his body a little, loosening up the fur that had been squished against his body for so long underneath.

The night time breeze blew in, providing further relief. He basked in it...

Then he realized he was feeling that on his neck. His neck was bare.

In pulling off the dress, he pulled off the scarf with it.

He dug his paws into the fallen dress with visible distress. He searched and felt around frantically for it, relaxing only when he grasped the scarf in both paws and pulled it free from the crumpled costume.

The wine stain on it caught his attention first. He also noticed bits and crumbs and miscellaneous dirt stuck to it.

It was really, really filthy. Unacceptably filthy. It wasn't like him.

He had to clean it.

Come to think of it, he had to clean himself. In his devastation that his scarf was in such a state, he noticed that same alcoholic stench coming from his person as well.

It would take him some moments before he could remember where he last saw water.

Lief: "Come on, dammit... wash out."

Now at the tower's entrance after a series of fumbling, he knelt at the floor's edge as he repeatedly dipped his scarf in the pool, scrubbing at it with one paw as he shakily gripped it with the other.

If he was going to leave this place, he was going to leave it as clean as he had arrived to begin with.

As all things should be, with Lief.

Hmm. ALRIGHT THEN.

Vekpa’s mane fluttered beneath his sleeping cap, as the jewels surrounding his face began to glow.

His eye snapped open, and a bright light shone within his palm.

The light dimmed, leaving behind… a photograph? Vekpa took hold of it with his other paw, displaying it to Reshi.

It was a picture of Lunch.

Zhen@Hope: The Ho-oh approached the woman with a small grin, "You know I never seen one of you before. I hope I'm not being rude by this." A laugh from him as he scratched the back of his head. "Are you related to the night or something?" He knew he was in the present of the God but he couldn't help but to act relaxed, he was having fun.

"It's trivial in the face of eternity." She smiled, "Does it truly matter if its rude or not? Asking questions is how we learn after all." "As for being related to the night, you have a keen eye there! I would expect nothing less from a..." Hope hummed in thought as she glanced over him, it was clear he was no mortal. "Let's see..."

"I know some find the title a little too much." "My appearance likely gave it away, but if you need know. Some mortals call me the Goddess of the Night, others the Moone Goddess, but I personally prefer to be known as solely Hope. For It's what I bring those I protect."

"It was what my creator Xerneas made me for after all. To watch over the stars and bring Hope for the future after the war." She grinned, "And you? You remind me of the God of Fortune in my universe, he's quite the fiery character! He protects the skies and brings blessings of wealth to the mortals. Though I must say, that old god is less easy on the eyes than you. I quite like your attire, very elegant and stylish."

The little guy was extremely impressed by the sheer size and power of this very large man, usually he would be on the defensive or scared but he felt no hostility.

But as he said, he did get an invite…

Vinny: I think I DID got turned into a rockruff before. Back I went to the other sleepover last time. There was my Uncle's...friend? Who then turned me into one to blend in. It felt weird walking with 4 legs but I managed. I wouldn't mind doing it again tho, it was fun being a Pokemon. So, yeah I wouldn't mind being a rockruff again...maybe a Lycanroc.

Aya and Kenji, decked out in their best and most comfortable sleepwear, enter the tower.

“It’s so huge!” Aya gasps, looking at the interior of the tower in awe. The Ogerpon takes her hands and puts them around her mouth. “ECHO!!!” she shouts, and, to her delight, her cry rings around the building a few times.

Kenji chuckles, listening to the ringing exclamation. “How ‘bout we head on up and meet the other guest?” The Okidogi asked his daughter.

“Yeah yeah yeah! Let’s do that!” Aya nodded her head in agreement, starting forwards. “C’mon, Papa!! Let’s go!”

Meanwhile, a few floors above…..

A strange Diancie looks around, eventually finding a cozy little nook to stay in for the night.

“Alllllllrrrriiiigghhhhtttt,” he muttered, smiling as he opened his laptop and took off his headphones. “This looks like a good place to chill for the night… lesse how chat’s doing……”

*Destino approached Erebus with the body pillow in hand. Something about it feels very odd...and maybe familiar? No, you must be imagining it.*

Destino: Now what do we have here? Buddy, gothic fashion isn't in at the moment. The dark colours? Really? Have you tried adding a splash of a bright colour to your wardrobe like your friend there or are you trying to bring the mood down. Then again, judging the other one's outfit, I don't know if I'd recommend the clown look. Did you tell her the outfit is somewhat embarrassing or did you just let her come out like that? Because I don't mind giving her the heads up that her outfit is not something to be proudly flaunting. Wouldn't want her to hear it from any of these other Pokémon.

Erebus stared for moment at the absol he wasn't phased he simply crossed his hands as he could give more of a shit about insults - it was something he already faced for so long

He wasnt that interested in having a insult fight back and forth but he did slightly wanna bite back so he just spoke

"Seriously - who still dips their fur and hair into hair dye? Especially its making YOU look like you got dipped in grease or sewer water..." Erebus said not really impressed much by Destino despite his words about his opposite did irritate him quite bit "I feel so sorry for you if its natural..." he would turn and leave but something about the pillow was off as he stared at it for a moment

It was too familiar but no way it could be here...? He decided for now to ignore it unless it decided to show itself or maybe it was his own stress in public place? It has been a while after all

"But I would appreciate if you DIDNT go inform Lue on how she looked - shes pretty happy with it and I think thats all that matters" he simply stated before getting on same eye level as Destino he simply smiled to him speak

"You can then just simply - say good bye to your 'beauty sleep' " he added with a smile still

Nike grinned as she floated over to Reshiram. "Lady Reshi! Thank you again for the invitation!" She greeted, waving excitedly. "When does the game begin?"

“Not to worry! We will be beginning right now.” Reshi replied to the Victini, standing up from the makeover she was working on, turning towards the guests before her.

Destino: Queen? You're some sort of queen? How could someone that looks like you be considered royalty? What are you even the queen of? Standing around doing nothing? I may not be monarch yet but I know when I am, I'll be ten times more useful than you appear to me. Unless you can prove your status, I don't think I'll consider you at an equal level to I. I mean, I'm not even wearing my crown and yet I feel more royal than you.

Hope gently pet Destinos fur, "Oh, I love it when mortals act so bold in the presence of a god! It's so amusing and endearing. You creatures are endlessly entertaining!" Though her comment was well-intentioned, it sounded more demeaning than anything. Perhaps she didn't know any better? After all the goddess barely interacted with mortal Pokemon.

"For me? It's quite simple, They consider me royalty because I'm a deity. My appearance matters not, I just look like this to not frighten my people with my presence. You see, Mortals are quite small. I do not wish to accidentally injury one, especially little cuties like you!" "As for your other inquiry... I love little games like this! Hmmm, let me ponder..."

The Lunala looked quite giddy with her idea, "Alright~ Do me a favour and stand really, really still!! I don't want to accidentally decapitate you!" With a cheerful snicker, her form seemed to grow, shift and loom over them suddenly. "Get ready cutie~"

With a rake of her giant wing, she easily severed the Absol's soul from their body. Everything went black within an instant and their husk of a body fell to the ground with a soft thud! It was almost as if all your senses had been instantly taken away, you felt nothing. You were no longer connected to the mortal realm but rather were shoved into a completely different one.

"Hello there little one! I see you have finally arrived!"

She caught the tiny Pokemon in her grasp. "I apologise for that, I had to do that to allow you in here. Your mortal body was much too heavy to phase into a completely different realm. But look!" Hope held the Absol much like a puppy as she proudly showed them around.

"I store my body here whilst I am in a different form, that holds true for my children as well." Every which way you could possibly look there was only endless night. It seemed desolate... void, and almost lonely? There was nothing apart from the stars and her. "This is where I used to stay before I created my mortal realm! I must admit it was only me and my counterpart for many millennia. Quite isolating..." "Eventually we decided to create something of our own. But that is a story for another time! I shouldn't keep you here for too long you might get stuck!"

Hope placed a gentle kiss on Destinos forehead before she abruptly let go of them and allowed them to fall into the endless void below... just as they left they were already being returned to the mortal realm. ...Or rather, they never truly left. Hope was peering down at Destino, almost as if she'd been there the whole time staring at them.

"I wouldn't want your soul to try to take residence up in some other poor creature's body! Having your soul split up doesn't feel very pleasant." "Alright, I should go cutie! It was fun talking to you though! I'd stay longer but having food around is too tempting~ I must say, your soul looks very yummy, it's making me hungry. So, Bye now!" She smiled, Hope gave one final ruffle to Destinos hair before she wandered off.
