about me: 

My name is Allyson

I’m 17 years old 

I’m in my 1st year of undergrad and actually graduated high school a year early

I’ve moved around a lot my whole life resulting in me going to 8 different schools and never being able to live in one place for too long!

I have two dogs and one a cat, all of which I love dearly

I struggle with depression and anxiety but I do my best to persevere!

I play saxophone, ukulele, some piano, and I’m learning the guitar

As you may have guessed from my url and banner, I’m gay. While I don’t know my sexuality for sure, I know for a fact that I like girls

my interests

I’ve loved languages ever since I was a little girl, so right now I’m studying Japanese and French

I love psychology and i’m considering getting a degree in it! I really want to live Japan and help the mental health reform.

why make a studyblr?

I feel like this blog is sort of like a project and I really do love starting projects. Only problem is, I never finish them. While I don’t see this blog coming to an end any time soon, I want to keep consistent with it

Hi y’all! It’s been almost two months since I have moved into my dorm and started college! My roommate and my suitemates are all wonderful, beautiful people. My college classes are, well, challenging, but I think that after 7 weeks of school, I am finally getting the hang of things. I also broke down and got a moleskin journal! I love it! I’m trying now to get my November spread up because in the next few weeks I am going to be incredibly busy.

I have more hearing loss in my right ear than I did two weeks ago, which is super scary right now. I have a CT scan next Thursday to rule out a recurrence of my tumor, but my ENT thinks that it’s just the hole in my ear getting bigger. If there isn’t a tumor, and it’s just the hole, I’m looking at either getting a hearing aid at the age of 19, which could help bring my hearing all the way back to 100% (which I haven’t had in almost 9 years) or I’ll be getting a surgery around winter break to close up the hole. The problem with the surgery would be that it would block off the Eustachian tube, which is what caused the tumor in the first place. Please pray for me!

I also have 5 exams next week, and I think I’m handling the stress pretty well. I say that in the hopes that I don’t get super anxious right before any of those tests.

Regardless of any of these high priority topics, I’m still going to go have dinner tonight with one of my bible study leaders tonight, before our meeting! I think that it will be fun.

Studyblr Introduction

Hello! I'm Kaili, an 18 year old freshman at a local branch of a community (recently turned state) college. I'm getting my A.A. general education stuff done here before transferring(although I'm not sure where yet). Currently I'm torn between deciding what to pursue, it's between Forensic Science (or a more specific subsection of it) and Neuroscience! I also am considering becoming a physician's assistant (in which I'd like to specialize in Neurology if at all possible!). My first week of college was this week (8/21/17-8/25/17)! I thankfully got classes that aren't crazy early (8am) and I don't even have class every week (and my Fridays are always off for me). The classes I'm taking are: •English Composition: Literature (online) •Introductory Chemistry w/ Lab (hybrid) •Student Development: Foundations of Success (seated) •Computer Science* (hybrid) •Concert Choir (seated) *This class is not coding, its a required intro to IT class per say, in which we learn Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, & Access. New Study Blog :)

Here we are!

Hello! My name is Alessandra and this is my first post asa study blog here on Tumblr. I’m pretty nervous honestly ahah

I’m studying economy and business and this is my first year, in fact the next month i’ll have my first three exams of this year and i’m so anxious. I don’t know if i’m good enought for this kind of subjects and this terrorize me a lot-

My main subjects are math, law, and statistics (or all the economy subject in general)   My hobbies include musics (my favourite artists are Harry Styles, Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons..i listen classical music when i study cause it helps me to focusing on my homework’s. ); books (all the kind of books, i’m a big fan of classic books; but now my obsessions are Shadowhunters and After); cinema (any type of films) photography (i always have my camera with me!) and art (Van Gogh forever). 

This kind of university, for me, is not so easy because during the High School I studied a different kind of subjects (as psychology), so now i have to start from zero and is very very difficult, but i’m try to do my best to achieve my dreams.

-Furthermore i’ll try to post everydays photos about my progresses; my notes, and some quotes (funny one and motivational too) and maybe you’l find a lot of cup of tea.. ahah.

Why I decided to open a study blog? I decided to make this kind of blog for helping my motivation and destroy the horrible shadow of the “procrastination”. I also hope to became a part of this beauifutl community that I started to follow some month ago from my other blog here on tumblr and which i immediately fell in love with. I really hope to find some motivation to survive these years at the university!

Hiya, I’m Studi-yes or H, whichever you prefer!!

I’m a Kurdish-Australian who is in her final year of high school and is feeling crazy overwhelmed lmao.

I’ve always kinda lurked on the studyblr part of tumblr but I’ve only recently really committed to being more active. As a heads up, I’m super lazy, I procrastinate like a mad woman, I’m usually either really good or really bad at my subjects because I get stuck in loops of self doubt due to bad grades that lead to laziness that lead to bad grades - it’s a self perpetuating cycle lmao. Also, I’m really, really messy and my handwriting can only be described as legible.

STILL. I wanted to make a studyblr because I feel that the more actively I involve myself in a community of intelligent, driven and productive individuals the more likely that is to rub off on me. Plus, this is kind of a way to hold myself accountable?? And to track my progress and development.

 hello there! my name is Carolina and this is the beginning of my study blr (or at least an attempt of it). 

I recently discovered these kind of blogs, in fact, it was my friend @aledstudies​ who introduced me to them. she was also the one who encouraged me to start one of my own, and because I’ve always wanted to be the kind of person who is all organised and stuff, well, I guess I reckon it’s a good idea :D

telling you a bit more about myself, the thing is that I’ve never been so organised. I’m usually quite messy, and my bedroom is in a state of unsustainable organisation (basically if you open a drawer all the mess and chaos that is my room will come out), and I’ve always admired those who’ve got impeccable bedrooms and notebooks. I’ve always wanted to be like that, and I guess at some point of my life, after many weak attempts I guess I just gave up. 

what’s different now is that this year (2018) everything’s gonna change. this is the year I enter university, and I don’t want to keep up with my old bad habits that I’ve been carrying throughtout all my high school years! I want to be more productive and organised, and I hope running this study blr will help me improve!
