Give me Richie and Eddie being closer with each other than with any other Loser.
Give me Richie and Eddie who have sleepovers and late night hangouts without any of the other Losers knowing.
Give me Richie who climbs in through Eddie's window every second night, at exactly 11pm and give me Eddie who is always up and waiting with nervous and excited butterflies that he wishes would go away.
Give me Eddie who's snort can't be contained every time Richie falls on all fours when he climbs in bc he keeps forgetting about the part of the windowsill being too high so his foot get stuck.
Give me Richie who blushes and calls him an asshole for laughing and reminds him that he's going to wake his mum up.
Give me Eddie who excitedly goes through Richie's backpack to see what he brought to entertain them with that time.
Give me them just enjoying each other's company as they read comic books and listen to music. Or maybe they just talk while they lay shoulder to shoulder on Eddie's bed, trying to discreetly touch the other without making it too weird or too awkward bc boys aren't supposed to want to hold hands with other boys and they aren't supposed to be in bed with their best friend like that.
Give me Eddie who blushes from head to toe every time Richie bumps their shoulders or gets too much into his personal space to tell him something incredibly exciting that makes his blue eyes sparkle.
Give me Richie who stumbles through that same window at 1am every time after they exchange a hug that lasts a bit too long and a promise that Richie would be back with more fun stuff. Cheeks red, heart beating like crazy, face aching from smiling so much.
Give me Eddie who lays back in his bed that has the smell of his best friend still there and it's so comforting that he falls asleep faster than the nights when Richie doesn't come over. Content, happy, warm all over.
They never tell the other Losers. They never wanted to. It was an unspoken agreement. Their little secret. Too intimate to share. Too special for the town like Derry.

Richie stood behind Eddie, a wide grin spreading across his face as he held a comb in his hand. "I'm trying to fix your hair, so hold still," Richie playfully scolded, his voice laced with affection.
Eddie rolled his eyes but complied, turning slightly to face his husband. "My hair didn’t need fixing! It was yours that’s a trainwreck! And you better not make it worse, Trashmouth!" he teased, unable to hide the fondness in his voice.
Richie chuckled and ran the comb through Eddie's soft locks, his fingers occasionally brushing against his scalp. It was a simple act, but it held a deep intimacy that only they could understand. When Richie was a kid, his mother was not patient or gentle when it came to brushing his hair. The brush picked roughly at the knots, making his scalp ache for the rest of the day.
As Richie meticulously adjusted Eddie's hair, he couldn't help but recall the countless times he had teased his friend about his meticulous grooming habits back in Derry. He used to joke about Eddie's fanny packs and how his hair always had to be perfect. But now, as they stood together as adults, Richie realized how much he adored those quirks and how they had become an integral part of who Eddie was.
Eddie watched his boyfriend’s reflection in the mirror, a soft smile tugging at the corners of his lips. Despite the years that had passed since their terrifying encounter with Pennywise, Richie still had a way of making him feel safe and loved. It was a feeling he cherished every day.
Finished with his task, Richie placed the comb on the bathroom counter and turned to face Eddie, his eyes shimmering with affection. "There you go, Mr. Perfect," he said, his voice filled with a mix of playfulness and adoration.
Eddie blushed, his gaze meeting Richie's. "Thanks, Trashmouth. We should get going now. We don’t have a lot of time," he replied, his voice filled with sincerity.
Richie closed the distance between them, his arms encircling Eddie in a warm embrace. "Do you think Ben and Bev would hold their wedding for us?" he teased, his eyes lingering towards the bed.
Although Eddie couldn’t resist Richie’s affection, he shook his head to resist his intentions. Later, he said in his mind. “We just fixed your hair. You’re going to look like Big Foot’s brother.”
They stood there, wrapped in each other's arms, cherishing the love they had fought so hard to preserve, their own version of happily ever after. They were attending Ben and Beverly’s wedding today, another love story that had its falters due to Pennywise’s curse against Derry.
Richie nuzzled his face into the crook of Eddie's neck, his voice muffled but filled with mischief. "Come on, Eds. We've got time for a quick detour," he whispered, his warm breath sending shivers down Eddie's spine.
Eddie chuckled softly, his fingers gently tracing patterns on Richie's back. "You're insatiable, Richie. We have important things to attend to, remember?" he replied, a mix of playfulness and affection in his voice.
Richie pulled back slightly, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, important things. But we deserve a little fun, don't we?" he countered, his lips curling into a playful grin.
Eddie couldn't help but smile, his heart swelling with love for the man who had brought so much joy and laughter into his life. Richie had a way of making even the most mundane moments feel like an adventure, and Eddie cherished every second of it.
As much as Eddie was tempted to give in to Richie's playful advances, he gently extricated himself from the embrace, a hint of reluctance in his eyes. "We really should get going, Richie. Ben and Bev have been waiting for us," he said, a touch of regret in his voice.
Richie pouted playfully, his eyes widening in mock disappointment. "Fine, Mr. Responsible. But you owe me a rain check," he replied, waggling his eyebrows suggestively.
Eddie rolled his eyes, but a soft chuckle escaped his lips. "Deal," he said, his voice filled with warmth.
Hand in hand, they made their way out of the room. As they stepped into the day, their hands intertwined, Richie and Eddie embraced the future that lay before them.
Eddie took a breath. That moment will come, he thought to himself. Just when to ask the love of his life to marry him was a tough question.
Something I may continue. Let me know what you think!

I had an idea for a Reddie Cinderella AU and I can't stop thinking about it
Eddie is the new kid in town, his mother constantly moves them around to intentionally isolate him from people, so he unfortunately has never had a real friend before.
Richie on the other hand is still friends with the rest of the losers club, but he's been feeling rather lonely as of late becaude all of his friends seem to have some one and he doesn't. Bill and Ben are constantly slobbering over Bev, and both Stan and Mike are starting to get some pretty serious crushes on their female classmates.
All and all this leaves Richie feeling a little left out, especially since their school is having a dance next week and his parents are practically forcing him to go.
Then Greta shows up, being uncharacteristically nice to him and asks if he would like to take her to the dance. Richie doesn't really like her but through his desperation to look like a cool ladies man, he says yes.
on the flip side of things, Eddie is still alone, but stumbles across the Bowers gang on his way to pick up his prescription at the pharmacy. They're smoking in the alley, and the moment they see Eddie they instantly try to kill him just because he's new and an easy target.
However, Eddie is able to talk his way out of it through bargaining with them. He tells them he has an account here that his mom regularly refills with out really checking, and if Henry lets him go he would be ""happy"" to hook them up with prescription drugs and medical supplies they can resell for pocket change.
Henry talks it over with his friends and they agree, but Eddie's duties to the Bower's gang get more and more ridiculous over time. It was bad enough basically being a drug mule, but now he's practically their slave. They make him do meaningless tasks, hurt him for a laugh, take his inhaler, and of course, get belch to set off his germaphobia. They don't even call him by his name anymore, just "Sissy", "Fag", "Pipsqueak", ect.
it's even worse because Henry basically uses Eddie as something he can take his frustrations about his own father out on. If Henry's dad humiliates him in front of his friends, Henry humiliates Eddie in front of them too, if Henry is forced to do a stupid chore for his dad (clean his gun, take out trash, pick up beer), Eddie will have to work his ass off.
He loathes doing all this stuff for them, but he has too or else Henry will kick his ass. Besides, anything's better than staying at home with his mother 24/7, and at least the Bowers gang are a "crowd", not a good crowd, but the first crowd Eddie's ever had.
With the dance coming up, Eddie is surprisingly dead set on going, but his mother obviously won't let him. Dances are riddled with disease, germs, and sweaty preteens grinding on each other. The last place she'd ever want Eddie to go.
Later that day, while cleaning a pair of boots that belong to Henry down at the quarry, he comes across Bev, Ben, and Bill taking a swim. They recognize him from school and ask what the heck he's doing cleaning Bowers shoes. Eddie, having had no one to really talk to at all before this, basically tells them his life story.
The three feel quite bad for never giving Eddie the time of day before noe, and ask if he wants to take a break and join them for a swim. He's naturally hesitant, but agrees and ends up having a really fun time with them. After they get out Bill even hands him his phone number and tells Eddie that if he needs anything, anything at all, he can just call them and they'd be happy to help. Eddie is utterly astonished to think he might actually have a shot at real friendship for once.
Even later on in the day, Henry, Belch, and Patrick are all tailgating in the woods while Eddie tries to get a fire going so he can cook them something.
Soon, their conversation turns to the upcoming dance where, although Henry and his friends are going, they're only doing it try and coerce girls into fucking them, which Eddie finds repulsive.
he's utterly disgusted by all this heteronormative sex talk, but keeps his mouth shut for the most part, until everything goes quiet and he offhandedly mentions how he might like to go too.
Henry spontaneously busts into laughter and uses it as an oppertunity to get up and humiliate him once more. He asks Eddie if he wants to wear one of his mom's dresses to the dance, if he's got a secret boyfriend he's been hiding from them, capping off with Henry telling Eddie he's a sorry little creep that nobody wants anywhere except for his nutcase mother. And then to add insult to injury, Patrick chimes in and asks how Eddie could ever expect to dance with his stupid asthma, followed by a really bad impression of him having an asthma attack.
Eddie feels pretty bad after that, but he feels even worse when Henry reveals he can't go to the dance anyways because Belch has a few missing assignments he doesn't wanna do himself, so Eddie has to do them for him.
But the day of the dance, despite Eddie not having anything to wear and Henry's warnings, he still tries his hardest to sneak out on his bike. However, Henry appearently expected this and was waiting just down the road in his car to jump him. He and his friends attack him and the bike, breaking the whole thing in half and leaving Eddie with a bunch of cuts and bruises on his body.
At first, Eddie thinks it's all over, and there's nothing left to do but go home and cry, but then he remembers what Bill said and decides to give him a call.
Bill takes him to Stan's house where they give him a tux Stan usually wears to the synagogue, and although pretty baggy since Eddie is quite small, he actually thinks he looks nice.
Ben and Mike begin tending to his injuries, while Berverly cuts his hair into something a little cleaner and "dashing", which Eddie also likes a lot. Bill even let's Eddie borrow his trusty bike so he can have a ride.
Eddie is supremely grateful and thanks all of them for being so nice to a stranger, but they all say it's not big deal because they're friends now.
At the dance, Richie is incredibly nervous, he's had like three cups of punch as he waits on Greta and his friends cause there's nothing else to occupy his shakey little hands. He doesn't really care about dancing with Greta, she's mean and kinda annoying, but he feels pressured to at least try and make a good impression on her due to comp het and stuff.
unfortunately, all those hopes are dashed when Greta does show up with her REAL date. When Richie asks what the hell is going on, Greta laughs at him and says "Oh come ON Richie, you didn't think I was serious, right? Look at yourself, you have buckteeth and coke bottle glasses, why the fuck would I ever like you.".
Richie tries to stand up for himself and tell Greta off but her date punches him in the face, breaking his glasses so much they're literally unusable.
Richie is so embarrassed about this he runs under the bleachers and hides, planning to stay there until his mom can come pick him up in an hour.  He's mortified and doesn't even wanna let his friends see him since the last time he talked to them they all seemed pretty happy he got a date. He couldn't possibly tell them what happened now.
When the rest of the losers club finally arrives Eddie is very excited, but quickly gets overwhelmed at all the lights, sounds, and people walking around. He's able to put up with it for a while, but then he sees Bowers out of the corner of his eye and had to run and hide under the bleachers.
The losers are fairly concerned as to where Eddie and Richie are, having not seen them since they got here, but they decide not to investigate since they have their own dates to tend to.
Underneath the bleachers is where Eddie and Richie finally meet, Richie's glasses are totally busted and the bleachers are dark so he can't see his face at all, but they still manage to make pleasant conversation.
They tell each other why they're hiding and crack jokes about it, which gets the two of them laughing like mad. They have such a good time talking together that at one point Richie even asks if this is one of Henry's friends fucking with him cause he can't see, but Eddie assures him it isn't.
they spend practically the whole dance just sitting under the bleachers, talking, and when they get sick of it Richie asks if he would be oh so curteous as to accompany him to the parking lot.
when they get outside their conversation becomes more intimate, even downright flirtatious. They decide to play 20 questions with each other, but Eddie convinces Richie to knock it down to just 5 questions. They ask each other the usual, why haven't I seen you around, are you new, ect. and Eddie tries his best to answer them, while Richie gives mostly joke answers.
Anyone listening in on the conversation could tell right away Eddie and Richie are enamored with one another, but it takes them a hot minute to realize it themselves. Eddie's having the time of his life with Richie though, he's all he's ever wanted in a friend (or possibly more than that).
Eddie's heart is absolutely pounding out of his chest, he's feeling so flustered and excited he's gotta use his inhaler to calm his nerves. Richie asks what it is and then asks if he can try it too, since he is also super fucking nervous. Then, despite his overwhelming germaphobia, Eddie let's him. After he does it, he cracks a joke about how it tastes like battery acid, making Eddie laugh.
Suddenly, the music inside the gym switches from a shitty disco tune to some random slow dance song, and that makes Eddie even more flustered than he already was.
Everything is just so perfect, the stars, the moon, the slow music, it's all so beautiful that Richie simply just can't handle himself anymore and has to kiss him on the cheek.
At first Richie immediately wants to take it back cause he thinks he ruined it all because Eddie goes quiet, but he's actually just silent because he's so stunned (in a good way).
He tries to reciprocate Richie's advances and kiss him on the lips, but right before he can they are interuppted when he suddenly starts freaking the fuck out and asks what time it is.
Every night at exactly midnight his mom ALWAYS checks to see if Eddie's safe in bed, and if she finds out he's not there right now she's gonna fucking flip.
Panicked, Eddie asks what time it is and Richie says it's about ten til midnight. Fuck.
He scrambles to get on Bill's bike, and as if the time crunch wasn't already bad enough, Henry's throwing a hissy fit in the gym.
He grabs Bill and interrogates him, demanding he tell them where "that fucking queer is", but none of the losers club actually know.
Eddie attempts to reassure Richie that this has nothing to do with him and that he's a great guy and yadda yadda yadds but he's gotta go NOW, so he just says a jumbled mess of words and speeds off.
Richie tries to get him to stay but it's too late, and Eddie rides off into the night, but luckily for him he manages to get back just in the knick of time, hiding his clothes and bill's bike in a nearby bush to get in the morning.
However, it's only when he's in bed does he realize that in his hurry he accidentally left his inhaler with Richie, forgetting to take it back from him when he tried it.
The following day Richie is devastated but determined to find him, unfortunately though, he never got a name and was so blind he could barely make out the kid's face in the dark. All he has to go off of is an inhaler, and he doesn't really know how to use that to find this kid. He even stalks outside the pharmacy for a while, but manages to just BARELY miss Eddie when he walks away.
The rest of the losers club can't be much help either since, although they know Eddie, they don't know that's the guy that he's looking for. All while Eddie is terrified to come forward about it due to Henry's homophobic bullshit.
What will happen when Eddie inveitabley gets introduced to Richie and he's still searching for that mystery boy? How will he confront his fears and stand up to his mother and Henry? Will they find their happily ever after, or will this story take a grim turn? Idk. I'm tired and this post is already long as fuck.
Sorry if this is a lame or poorly written idea, this is my the Reddie thing i've ever made and i'm new to this ship.

A offers B a hip massage after taking it up the ass for the first time and it just leads to more sex.
Or it maybe it doesn't. Maybe it just leads to some nice cuddles and emotional intimacy. That's super cool too. If not much cooler.

"Shut up, Richie!" Eddie screeched from his place alongside Richie in the hammock. "You're so disgusting..."
"But you like it, don't you, Eds," Richie taunted. "I mean, how can you not, you love me, right?"
"Well, yes, but I wish I didn't," Eddie said, shoving Richie out of the hammock.
"Ten minutes, Eds," Y/n stood over the boys, hands on her hips. "It's my turn in the hammock." She gave him a cheeky grin as he begrudgingly stepped out of the hammock. "Thank you." Y/n slipped into the hammock and waved Stanley over.
"I'm not getting in the hammock with you, but I will sit right here and talk to you." Stan sat on the ground, holding Y/n's hand over the side of the hammock.
"C'mon, babe, please! It's just ten minutes, you only have to lay with me for ten minutes."
"Stan doesn't even like laying with you for two minutes, I'd bet," Richie called from across the clubhouse.
"That's not true!"
"Yeah, what he said," Y/n got out of the hammock and put her hands under Stanley's arms, attempting to lift the boy into the hammock. He slumped over in her arms, making his body dead weight. "Come on, Stan! Don't be an asshole!"
"Yeah, Stan, don't be an asshole!" Richie crudely mimicked Y/n's voice. Eddie slapped the back of Richie's head, making his glasses fall to the ground. "Gee, thanks, Eds. Why don't we let Y/n hit me harder than that, shall we?"
"Shut up, douchebag," Y/n retorted, unsuccessfully lifting Stan. She pulled her arms back to her body and Stan fell to the floor, dirt coating his face.
He spit on the floor, scrubbing his tongue. "Why did you do that?" He stood up, dropping into the hammock. "Now I get to sit here all alone." Stan held up his hand and made a shooing motion.
"No." Y/n forced her way into Stan's lap. "Not all alone." She gave him a just try to get rid of me look.
"Fine," Stan put his hands on her hips and she leaned down to kiss him until she was hit in the face with a ball of paper.
"NO PDA IN THE CLUBHOUSE!" Richie yelled.
"Shut up!" Stan and Y/n replied in unison, flipping him off. Stan sat up, pulling Y/n's lips to his as Eddie gagged.

writing reddie fic is so hard because like. not only do i have to be funny in a middle aged comedian trying-too-hard-but-still-funny-to-my-friends way, and in a naturally hilarious way, but then also in a dry, risk analyst, only-funny-to-one-comedian-but-also-the-funniest-thing-this-comedian-has-ever-heard way?? i have to be comedian-funny but than also funny enough to make a comedian laugh without even trying?? fuck outta here who gave them the right

Walking into their bedroom, Eddie heard the shower running in the other room. Listening closely, the water pounding was louder than usual, like it was just hitting the floor. Peering into the slightly open door, Richie was sitting on the side of the tub dressed in his shower robe, his shoulders shaking. Noticing Richie's tear-streaked face, concern filled his heart and Eddie went into the bathroom.
"Richie, what's wrong?" Eddie asked, placing a comforting hand on Richie's shoulder.
Richie managed to silence his cries so he could explain himself to his boyfriend. "It's... it's my career, Eddie. It's been eating me alive lately. The stress is overwhelming."
Eddie squeezed Richie's shoulder gently. "Hey, hey, it's okay. Tell me what's been going on."
Richie took a deep breath, attempting to steady himself. He leaned against the crook of Eddie’s neck. "I've been struggling with the pressure. My career has been skyrocketing!” He emphasized with his arm, nearly smacking Eddie in the face. Talk about a role reversal. He put his hands at his sides for time-being and looked into Eddie’s caring eyes.
“And while it's amazing, it’s been pulling at my ass... I feel like I'm constantly trying to keep up with everyone's expectations.”
“Do you think David is pushing too much publicity for you?” Eddie asked, referring to Richie’s new agent. While they were still in Derry during Eddie’s recovery, Richie quit working with Steve because of creative differences. It took a while to find a new agent, but once he did, Richie immediately hit it off with David, having the liberty to write his own comedy and not have to censor anything.
“No, David is amazing. This is the publicity that I want instead of having to play that I’m straight!” Richie cringed at that whole thing. It’s what made coming to terms with his sexuality harder. When he first performed his whole coming out act, he was so happy, practically floating above the ground. And glowing.
“So, what’s bothering you? Are you just overwhelmed?” Eddie asked him.
Richie took a deep breath. He held Eddie’s hand in his, rubbing small circles around it. “And... I’m scared that I might lose myself in all this. Like, what if I become this big tight-shot Hollywood star who's too blind to see anything in front of him?"
Not expecting that answer, Eddie stared into his boyfriend’s eyes. “Richie, you are never going to turn into that.”
“You really think so?”
“Richie, and I’m going to regret saying this, but you are the most compassionate man. Even when we were kids you were never afraid to be yourself. You are so silly and unlike other comedians, you want to make people laugh. And you want to make people feel good about themselves like you do with me,” Eddie smiled.
“Wait, I really make you laugh? I thought you were being sarcastic whenever I tried to make you laugh.” Richie raised an eyebrow, though he was teasing him.
Eddie rolled his eyes, twirling his fingers through Richie’s curly hair. “Look beyond the sarcasm and annoyance, dumbass!” Richie burst out laughing. “You make me laugh. You create your own jokes instead of copying someone else. For example, you don’t copy Jim Carrey.”
“Jim Carrey?” Richie questioned, raising an eyebrow.
“I don’t know many comedians, Richie! The point I am trying to make is that you don’t copy anyone else. You want to be you. A big shot Hollywood star goes after somebody else’s work, turns his back on others, and then fails to make original content.”
A glimmer of gratitude shone through Richie's tear-filled eyes. "Thanks, Eds. I don’t know what I’d do without you.”
Eddie's grip tightened on Richie's shoulder, his voice filled with reassurance. "It's okay to feel overwhelmed,” he smiled before his voice turned serious. “But I don’t want you hiding any of this from me. Come to me when you’re feeling down or stressed, or even happy about something. Please, don’t beat yourself up. I want to be here.”
Richie nodded, feeling better, but still worn out. Turning off the shower, Eddie had an idea. "Let's take a bath, Richie. It might help you unwind a bit."
Filling the bathtub with warm water and soothing bubbles, Eddie helped Richie step in. As Richie soaked in the bathtub, Eddie massaged his shoulders and neck, working to ease the tension that had built up from the stress. He leaned back into Eddie’s calming touch. When was the last time he let himself relax like this?
After a while, Eddie helped Richie out of the bath, wrapping him in another soft towel. He guided him to sit on the bed and fetched a fresh set of clothes for him. As Richie dressed, Eddie knelt in front of him, taking the time to brush his boyfriend's hair.
"How do you feel now?" Eddie asked, his voice gentle as he looked up into Richie's eyes.
Richie managed a small smile, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders. "Better. Thank you, Eddie.”
Eddie smiled back, his eyes warm with compassion. "We’re all here for you no matter what, Richie.” And they shared a sweet romantic kiss that made their insides burn with passion.
