Yay! I'm so happy you loved it! Pissed!Pocket is so much fun to write. Like, girl is take no prisoners; she's so over it. I like to imagine that Bucket and Steveoli's fight was very homoerotic (especially once Pocket poured that water on them, cause now they're all wet), and that they continued to punch the snot out of each other once Pocket and Sam left.
So, for Pocket's new hair, I had this mental image in mind, and when I got your message, I went searching for something that encapsulated it. This was the closest I could find:
Bucket is definitely desperate rn. He's starting to really see that his actions are having very really consequences-- whenever he messed up before, Pocket was always willing to forgive him, and now, not only is she not forgiving him, she's not even speaking to him. It's throwing him (not that he doesn't deserve it or shouldn't have seen it coming, of course).
Steveoli was decent in his interaction with Pocket, but a lot of it was out of guilt. Would he have stopped it, himself? Who can say? Oh wait, me. I can say. No he would not have. He's not evil, but he's been selfish, and he's finally starting to see that here.
I love hearing everyone's theories based on the chapter titles; they make me smile! Let's see... what can I say about Unprotected? It's got double meaning. Maybe triple meaning? UGH, too much possibility to give things away.
And of course Bucket is going to insert himself into the mission somehow; come on! Gotta get those two crazy kids back in the same room together at some point! ;)

I'm not trying to shade the Anon who asked, but the fact that people are going out and asking random ST fans "What are your thoughts on Noah being a Zionist?" Shows that there's a big problem with this fanbase.
He's an actor. On a TV show. He's not our friend. He's allowed to have his own thoughts and opinions. Even ones that people think are shitty and disagree with.
People in this fandom have developed these unhealthy parasocial relationships with the actors. Particularly the younger ones. They expect them to act and behave a certain way, and then rake them over the coals for failing to live up to their expectations.
None of the actors owe the fanbase shit. They have their own lives. If you're so distraught, don't watch the show. Get another hobby. But don't harass the people involved with the show and other fans. You may think you look cool and everybody else is doing it - but they aren't. People outside of Twitter are all talking about how pathetic that behavior is.

ok b4 i make these damn credit requests n send reports to customers i gotta write a bit of testicles philosophy that's been clankin around inside my cranium for a while. if u don't wanna read bout stuff like this pls scroll by but if u do pls bear with me while i talk about an incredibly sensitive topic that's almost impossible to tackle with any level of seriousness due to the Absurdity of transness
so im gettin neutered in 2,5 weeks. this has been a long time comin n now it's suddenly crystalized into a tangible date that's rly close (close enough that it alrdy caused sum Despair n schedulin stress on my part cuz im a anxious scaredy cat (sorry n thank u<3)). this is a huge fuckin deal. i've had dysphoria bout these guys for as long as i can fuckin remember. i'm nowadays pretty ok w/ havin a dick, but the accessories r abysmal n need to go.
first things first, they're uncomfortable. anyone who has some will attest that life w/ balls is at best bearable (mens underwear n pants leave a lot of space for convenience) n at worst horrid n painful (to safekeep reproductive capabilities they're equipped w/ a frankly ludicrous amount of nerve endings). i'm in almost a constant state of mild-to-severe discomfort cuz i'm very dysphorically aware of them at most times, like rn. they're always moving around no matter how well secured in place n the more u secure them in place the more uncomfortable it can get. n Adjusting their position especially in public no matter how stealthy i am about it makes me feel like some kind of a pervert cuz well i AM grabbing n moving my junk around. ugh. so this is very much a dysphoric "THIS BODY PART DOESNT BELONG" type situation.
secondly, i do NOT want to reproduce, especially not via inseminating someone. that's a horrid thought n makes me feel like some kind of a gigeresque parasite-spewing breeding maschine. note: this is a Personal Feeling, making n having babies is a perfectly normal thing to want to do. but i do not have the need to do it via my own biology.
third, FORM FACTOR. fuckin gods i own so many pieces of clothing that will finally fit nicely when im free of the two pain orbs attached near a very critical part of pants n underwear. i've looked at n adored how pants fit ppl without this kind of junk in the way forever n been so so envious even b4 i had the language to describe it. i rly hope it's as comfortable as i imagine it.
fourthly, i kno it's not a requirement to be an androgynous person to lack reproductive ability, but shit fuck godsdamn it, it will help with the feeling. kinda like how changin my legal gender was altogether very unimpactful (as it should be tbh...), but gave me self-confidence n entitlement in my identity. the idea of being physically something between genders is amazing n freeing as hell. masculinity has weighed heavy on my shoulders n this'll take some of the load off. stop giggling
fifth n final point that i have in mind rn: i can stop takin fucking spironolactone!!!!!!!! im convinced just this will be a huge quality of life improvement, i'm so dried up it's crazy. i piss like every couple of hours n my lower lip has been chapped af for weeks. t1d dries u up already i rly don't need an additional drug doing that. plus i'm p sure spiro has some side effects goin that i'm not even aware of but i'm eager to find out what changes.
all in all this is HUGE. i'm gonna probs cope w/ the wait w/ a lot of humor n some of this humor will make me more dysphoric (dysphoria has been growing the whole winter) but pls bear with my ballsposting soon i'll stop talking about them forever and i rly have NOT mentioned the guys ever cuz of the dysphoria so final chance to say goodbye i guess? lol. anyway gotta work now bye hope this was somehow revelatory re: my feelings w/ this whole issue for those of u who r for some reason interested in the general genital situation lmao

I was dying. nobody told me how hard recovery would be. I stared at the ceiling, clenching my fists so hard I could feel the blood begin to form under my finger nails. the temptation wasn't there. I had nothing. all I wanted to do was sleep, but my mind wouldn't allow me to do that. I wanted to breathe. sleep. it felt like I was being held under water, but how can you be breathing without the water filling your lungs and drowning? I choked back tears and picked up my phone.
'sal? r u up?' I stared at my phone, praying he was. *ding.*
'yea r u ok ml?'
I took a deep breath.
'no'
'can we sneak out nd go somewhere?'
'yea sure my dad just left 4 work'

I slipped on a hoodie and slides. I snuck out the front door, not like anyone could hear me over my dad's snoring. sal was leaning against the wall facing away from me.
"Hi Sally." I smiled whenever he hugged me.

I wiped my hand on my leg, I didn't want to tell him about how badly I wanted to relapse. "I'm just having a rough night. did you have a nightmare?"
he nodded. the elevator descended to the first floor. "oh shit, I didn't know it was raining." I muttered.
"it's just a few drops. we should be fine." he replied, wiping a few droplets off of his prosthetic cheek.
he was far from right. the rain began pouring down. it slapped against the pavement, turning it a muddy, darker shade of grey. thunder danced around the ski like ballerinas. I smiled to myself, what a silly reference.
"we need to get out of the rain." I mentioned, thunder crashing after I said so. "scary." I smirked.
I pulled my shirt up to cover my head as we ran for the tunnel near school. sal slipped frequently, almost falling. as we ran through the rain, I felt more alive than I had in months. the way my feet slapped against the soaked concrete made me giggle.
"fuck this!" I cackled as I slipped off my shoes. I ran faster barefoot. small rocks jabbed my feet, making me wince but I didn't care.
"y/n, oh my god!" sal was hysterical.
"what?! come on, it's better this way! you're too tense!"
whenever we finally made it to the tunnel, sal and I collapsed. we were breathing heavily as we watched the occasional car drive by.
"Hey, we sound just like when we were having se-"
"y/n!" sal cut me off.
"just saying!" I teased. I jumped up and walked to the middle of the street. I laid in the middle in a starfish position.
"y/n, there are cars, you know!" sals words echoed through the tunnel.
"so?"
"they can't see you." sal moved to stand in front of me.
"so you wanna get hit by a car?" I raised my eyebrow.
"I'd rather get hit by a car than see you get hit."
"sal you're fucking wack." I replied as he sat down next to me. I watched the rain slowly drip out of his bright blue hair. I'm sure he was uncomfortable under his prosthetic.
"y/n! car!" sal yelled. I jumped up and looked behind me to see an empty street.
"you're such a dick!" I giggled pushing his arm.
"you know you love me." I could hear the smirk in his voice. "I was just testing your reflexes!"
"right." I stood up fully and looked down at him. I placed a kiss on his prosthetic lips.

"grandma, this is my best friend sal. I told you about him!"
"hello, dear sal. I'm so glad you can stay with us this week! I'm sure you and Y/n will have a great time."
and we did.

day 1-
dear diary,
today me and sal played in the backyard. I got stung by a stupid bee! sal was there for me, though. grandma fell asleep early. we made our own dinner. me and sal make the best peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I'm worried about grandma, but I don't want to worry sal. he's asleep, anyway. I think grandma's on sleeping pills again. I remember what happened last time. mommy's going to get angry again. I don't want another fight. especially in front of sal. it's a secret between me and you, okay diary?
day 2-
dear diary,
Grandma said me and sal can't go outside today period she said it was dangerous period she said there's bad people outside period me and sal didn't question. We watched her close all the blinds and sit on the couch holding a kitchen knife. Me and sal locked ourselves in the guest bedroom. We hid under the blankets and made up stories to tell each other. Grandma called us out and told us dinner was ready. I didn't eat.
day 3-
Mommy is coming to get us today. Grandma took us outside. She said she wanted to beat the demons out of her rug. I think she's been taking too many pills. When mom came, grandma and her fought. Mom knocked grandma to the ground trying to get the pills from her. Me and sal hid downstairs. We held each other til we knew it was over. I told him I was so sorry.
