i just need to get this off my chest as a day one Izzy Hands supporter and steddyhands truther— one of the most fucked parts of these first three episodes that I need to see discussed more is that Ed believes that he is incapable of being loved. Ed believes himself to be fundamentally unlovable, despite everything that Izzy has done to prove his love for him.
Izzy has quite literally dedicated his life to serving Ed, to pleasing him, to making sure that he is content. Izzy stays by him throughout his darkest times, tries to help him while he spirals, does everything he can to save Ed from his own decisions. Is it the right thing to do? Is it good for either of them? Probably not. But he does it all because he loves Edward, unconditionally. He lets Ed cut off three of his toes. Let me reiterate— Izzy allows Ed to cut off three of his toes (side note: the way that Ed so casually tells Izzy to take off his boot makes me feel crazy. Is this what he’s done every other time? And Izzy just obeys? Oh my god). Izzy’s love is a twisted, dark and obsessive type of loyalty, but it is love nonetheless and it is love that Ed has had for his entire adult life.
Ed was just so loved, no matter what he did, no matter how far he pushed, no matter how many toes he cut off. Izzy loves him, even at his very lowest. Even when he shoots him, even when he places a gun in his hands and goads him into killing him.
And just think for a second how terrible that must be. How awful must it have been to love someone so wholly that you gladly dedicate your entire life to them, only to learn that they believe themselves to be unlovable. Because if Edward is incapable of being loved, then what did Izzy’s love mean? If nobody can love Edward, then what does that make Israel Hands?

yeah yeah "it's not gay if he's dead" "it's gay if he's dead" are fun and all, but what about:
it's gay AND he's dead

very stupid little tmagp theory
hey so weird theory that probably can be disproved (i havent fact checked it at all) but i just thought abt it while i was listening to one of the eps and wanted to spit it out before i forget;
what if the protocol universe is one where gertrude succeeded in burning down the archives or something? since gertrude and gerry are still alive but know about the archives, and it was said that it burnt down long before jon would be working there
additional note, if that is the case, is there a regular jon, martin, sasha and tim walking around, not knowing eachother? like when jon and martin had the chat about 'if they would even have been together if they never met at the archives', were they right that they wouldnt have met? is there a regular person jon and a regular person martin walking around the world, never having met eachother and never knowing what they could have been?
(as you can probably tell, this concept makes me VERY upset)

My question is: do demigods actually have like human ADHD, or is that just like the closest thing the human psychologists can diagnose it as? Like things get misdiagnosed a lot, right? ADHD is diagnosed as anxiety, autism is diagnosed as ADHD, etc, etc. So my question is do they have human ADHD, or is calling it that just an approximation?

I don't know what would be worse, if the Council calling angels "it" is just how they roll in Heaven and the terminals are just nice enough to gender them correctly, or if they switched to calling Gabriel an "it" because after his loss he suddenly became a thing in their eyes.

Florida shares this with Utah. How does Utah react to this? Please discuss.

You know how groups of animals have different names like "a pod of dophins" or "a murder of crows" or "a school of fish"?
What do we think a group of blob ghosts would be called?

I'm not sure why they changed the original concept of Mono, which was to be literally monochrome, with the only exception being the paper bag on his head.
It underlines his connection to TVs and the tall man, while raising more questions, like how did he come to look like that? Maybe he always looked like that, because he's trapped in a paradox/loop that affects his body on any point of the timeline. In other words, he's glitching, never truly part of reality.
It gives a clearer reason why he'd want to cover his face because he's so obviously NOT normal, and his desperation to have a friend while being afraid to reveal his true nature becomes clearer too. The world truly hates him, like his official description says.

Real talk though do y'all think that Toji loved his worm? Like did he truly love and care for wormie as a pet? Did wormie love him back? These are the questions that are haunting me

If there was an educational trivia gameshow for adults that focused on typically taboo and uncomfortable topics, would people be interested in playing?
Not clickbait nonsense. I mean actual information, research, and sited papers to make sure that it is accurate and respectfully put together in spite of the strange and edgy format.
rough currently half baked potential question and challenge set-ups:
- how many years have passed since [major events]?
-What pieces of misinformation do you still believe to be fact
-What is / was the "paper bag test" and how does it connect to criminal profiling?
-In what states does gay coversion therapy still exist legally? bonus points for specifying the forms allowed in each one.
-Which of these products were made in the past [list of terrifyingly recent years] with slave labor?
-By what percentage did rates of domestic violence go up by durring the years of 2020 - 2022?
