ohhh were you reading freshwater?! 😳 I'm sorry to have the story so abandoned but right now I don't really feel like writing it, but I promise to update one day and I totally understood the Link description, I love botw and totk <33

─ The entire crew adores you for one reason or another, as you are really reliable enough to find money efficiently (no vase has been broken, so far…) and silly enough to play along with Luffy and Chopper.

─ Not to mention your fighting skills, although you were not the strongest, you were cunning enough to easily win a battle in different ways.

─ You practice sword combat alongside Zoro, although you don't necessarily use swords, you usually make do with anything that can hit your enemies, even if it's a tree twig.

─ You will also sharpen your aim with the bow with Usopp.

─ You spend hours in the kitchen with Sanji because you love to see how the dishes are prepared, also because you will receive a little more food on your plate because of that, you have a great appetite, not comparable to Luffy's but you could compete with him.

─ You spend some of your free time doing some puzzles with Robin.

─ Usopp always hugs you when there is a threat, since you always put on that brave face in the face of problems, without a doubt you are a good shield for this scared boy.

─ Once you almost blew up half the ship because you were playing with your bombs, Jimbe was able to stop it in time and they forbade you from playing with them on the ship.

─ It's okay, Franky will make you new bombs that are not so easy to explode, he will give you a remote control and a timer without anyone finding out.

─ You are a persistent and stubborn person, Chopper will have to bandage your hands more than once because you preferred to climb an entire mountain instead of going around the predetermined path.

─ Nami always goes with you when you are exploring, she doesn't know how, but you always find chests everywhere with valuable rewards, you are a gold mine.

─ Sometimes when you stop to rest in a village you find yourself involved in other people's problems (like your captain but on a smaller scale) and solving their problems, receiving rewards in return.

─ You are so stoic and at the same time so expressive, the crew would not be able to describe your personality exactly, but without a doubt you were more than reliable for all kinds of situations despite being only a teenager.

Synopsis: You can read them together or separately, I f*cked up the last part but I tried connecting some dots without fully disclosing everything bc I am not yet sure if I want to continue expanding on this story. If you’d like this to possibly become a series let me know !

You had been startled awake gasping for air and completely drenched in a cold sweat. It was the middle of the night, the ship was dark but the light of the moon shone through the porthole allowing your sight to adjust. You sighed to yourself, memories of your family. What a cruel thing the mind can be, you thought.

You were restless and couldn’t sleep any longer, dreaming of distant voices like you weren’t here on purpose was hilarious in a sinister way. You wanted to believe the person you had become was just a simple state of mind so that you wouldn’t go crazy. But you knew better, you knew to everyone else you’d be considered a lunatic.

You’d argue with yourself constantly, in every crevice of your brain, while also being the mediator wanting everything to stop. This was a good life you were living, free of idiotic way of life you lived previously. When you woke from dreams like this, for a minute or two everything was clear.

You could remember how you got here, remember why you left in the first place. And best of all, you remembered why you were so scared of these people in the first place.

You chuckled to yourself as you got out of bed, your stomach now empty and gurgling for a snack. Making your way to the kitchen you saw the light in the crows nest and a shadow passing through the fish tank. Of course he would be up, you knew his schedule.

You wanted to go up and ask if he’d join your for a drink and a snack but, just as you reach the second flight of stairs you stopped yourself. Alone time when you were awake was needed.

Of course there would be times where you were alone during the day but never completely alone. The constant fake concern or the random outburst to grasp your attention when your eyes went blank always reminded you, you weren’t alone.

You opened the locks on the fridge, rummaging around for alcohol, one of the greatest things about this world was how strong it was in both flavor and effect. Back home you were too young to drink but here you could have anything you desired.

That’s what you liked to tell yourself now. Whenever the itch got too overwhelming and started becoming a visible panic attack you knew just how to calm yourself. Deep breaths, look at just one thing, and clear your mind of negativity. It worked but sake worked even better.

You drank too glasses in the darkness, the affect making itself known when you stood up to bring the rest of the bottle up the stairs. Giggling when you almost fell face first only to be caught in the strong arms of the swordsman.

He looked pretty tonight, the moon was a friend who liked to light up the features of his face you wouldn’t notice during the day. Making him out to be a knight in shining celestial armor. You smiled at him and he gave you a small smile back guiding you to the crows nest.

You told him about your dream. He listened quietly sipping directly from the bottle only stopping to pour you some.

“ Zoro.. is anyone listening?” You asked eyes scouting the perimeter of the room. He shook his head and urged you to continue.

“ My dreams remind me that I’m not insane— well that I’m not completely insane. I want to say they ground me as much as they hurt me.”

The tears welled up in your eyes, threatening to fall in giant droplets of sorrow. He stopped drinking to give you his full attention as you went more in detail about the things you’ve bottle up.

You were like a scroll unraveling before him, if he were bold he make a joke saying that you were the one piece they’d been searching the sea for.

He understood completely why the crew was enamored with you. The little fighting fish trapped in a tank, who could only give without take, the colors of your scales vibrant and full of life while your tail flashes trying to ward off the parasitic infection dwelling all around and within.

He finally spoke up, startling your rambling about every little topic on your mind, “ I didn’t want to interrupt but I have something interesting to tell you.”

You nod eager to listen.

“ I know we’ve been waiting a while and this since is a golden opportunity now that we’re alone. On the last island I spoke to an old man, there isn’t a name for it yet but there are other like you. Travelers.”

You threw yourself into him and held him tight. This was the break through you’ve gone through hell waiting for.

“ There have been quiet a few others, over the last few years he’s said. Some trying to be discrete and others making grand entrances, they speak how you speak, using the same slang and everything I knew they were linked to your situation.”

“ This is incredible ! I knew there were others like be but… I always thought they’d be- Zoro?”

He suddenly yanked you off of him, picking up the bottle of sake and walking to the door. Just as you were opening your mouth to speak the floor started creaking, someone else was awake.

Panic set through you.

Do they hear anything? Did they hear your excitement? Who was coming closer?

Zoro opened the door revealing Robin. How could you possibly forget the other equally dangerous night owl on the ship. She smiled at you and waltzed in sitting on a stool.

“ I didn’t know you woke up Y/N, I would’ve joined the two of you earlier.”

“ Oh yeah I didn’t really want to check for anyone but I just— I seen his shadow and I couldn’t sleep so I figured… why not.” Your nervous laugh creeped in towards the end of your sentence.

You silently damned yourself and looked over to Zoro who sat right back in his spot drinking the almost empty bottle like nothing happened.

The three of you talked about little things, souvenirs from islands, Zoro about swords he looked at, and Robin went on about a foreign scripture she has yet to completely figure out.

Zoro’s presence kept you at ease and before you knew it you fell asleep again. The rest was short and you woke in your bed by the booming voices of your crew mates. Making your way to the kitchen you were greeted continuously upon entry, the captain patting a seat between him and Zoro.

The handsome Prince handing your orange juice in a wine glass to accompany your eggs and bacon. You ate silently till Luffy started stealing off Ussop’s plate causing a ruckus on the table.

The morning came and went and you were playing card games with the boys till lunch. The excitement creeped in when you were handing your cleared plate and heading off the the crows nest once again.

Watching from the upper deck was Nami accompanied by Ussop and Chopper holding baskets of tangerines and pop green. A keen eye was needed in order to be a navigator and that eye noticed your 180 when you were around Zoro.

“ They’re close those two..”

The others agreed watching you leap up the stairs into the crows nest. It was hard to not notice when no one else really bothered the grumpy swordsman in his little sanctuary.

The woman hummed then directed her little helpers to continue picking fruit while she went to investigate. She heard your cheers and giggles as she got closer to the door, daring her to press her ear on the door.

Intently listening to you laugh about a story from your childhood she failed to notice the blonde creeping up behind her with a tray of drinks. With a hand to her chest to keep her from punching him she pulled him close to listen along with her, much to his delight of course.

Although when the cook heard the joy a familiarity being shared with the swordsman he almost barged into the room. Nami having to physically hold him back so that their cover wouldn’t be blown.

It’s almost like they forgot the swordsman can dodge knives in his sleep. Zoro alerted you the moment Nami was walking up the steps. Yes, she was as stealthy and as sly as a cat but there was more in fooling a man like him. The topic of conversation changed and you had suggested writing notes while you spoke the next time around.

The itch was back but you didn’t want to alert Zoro. He was doing his best in keeping your endeavors discreet and telling him would out more on his plate. That night you were reading and the navigator invited you to sit with her while she drew up new maps.

“ Y/N, you’re pretty close with Zoro huh.” She spoke up.

Your eyes left the pages to look at the woman gracefully creating lines and squiggles on the large lithograph. “ Yeah, I enjoy telling him stories and he just listens or laughs.” You shrugged.

She hummed and continued, “ I was heading over to you to ask if you wanted to help peal some tangerines for Sanji to make marmalade.”

“ Oh crap you should’ve asked me during lunch. I can help tomorrow if you’d like.”

She looked over to you from the corner of her eye and smiled agreeing.

“ I didn’t mean to listen in but… you seem very relaxed around him, more relaxed than with the crew.”

“ He.. he just seems to put me at ease I guess.”

“ Why aren’t you at ease with the rest of us?” She inquired tilting her head and placing the ink pen in the corner of her desk.

You quickly rebutted hoping to ease the sudden tension beginning to bubble up. She was full of questions today and you felt like you were in an interrogation room without a door. She chuckled at your stuttering, it was so cute when you were nervous. She continued her work and changed the topic to not cause you anymore visible worry.

Laying in bed that night you finally felt at peace, before your interruption earlier Zoro had told you he knew a way for you to get back home. It would take some time and you would have to get the others off your radar.

Your thoughts quickly shifted to Nami and how she approached you earlier. To a non trained eye your conversation just seemed like small talk or curiosity among friends though the threat of something more was obvious to you. You were sure she did that purposely, looking into your eye, raising and eyebrow, and giving you that sly smirk.

Just to see what type of reaction she could coerce out of you without making things too transparent. You knew eventually they would look into your newfound closeness with the swordsman. You turned to the other side of the bed where the pillow was cold and the light didn’t hit your closed eyes. Shaking the thoughts away to sleep and deal with another day tomorrow.

The ship was still lively while you were resting, everyone doing their own little tasks and routines. In the room next to the crows nest Robin was bathing, she was enjoying her peace till a small knock came from the door.

“ Robin could I come in?”

Nami opened the door and waved sitting on the edge of the tub. “ I think we should tell Luffy about Zoro and Y/N.” She said letting her fingers graze the steaming water. Robin hummed and leaned over to her, “ We should eventually of course. However, don’t you think we should also go to Zoro separately first as well? To completely assess the situation.”

Nami agreed and decided now would be the perfect time since you were asleep and he was completely alone.

She knocked twice and opened the door peaking in, “ Zoro are you busy?”. He looked up at her with a weight lifting over his shoulder and shook his head. She waltzed in sitting in the booth seat hitting her lip, the nerves of trying to get a straight answer out of him settling in.

“ I wanted to talk to you about Y/N, you’ve been pretty close yeah?”

“ I guess? They just come in and ramble while I work out.”

“ Well I hope you aren’t forgetting that the crew also wants to get close to them.”

“ What’s that supposed to mean exactly?”

He was as standoffish as always but if this wasn’t done who knew what the two of you could do. It’s not that she even wanted to question the first mate but no one else has been able to break the barrier with little Y/N… and of all people to it was the grumpy swordsman?

“ It means that whatever you’ve been promising them… isn’t going to make them..”

“ Rebel? I’m loyal to my captain, whatever ideas you’re having are wrong. They came to me because the rest of your are idiotic and overbearing.”

Nami huffed angrily at the assumption that she was overbearing and idiotic. She knew that at certain moments the entire crew would make you uncomfortable but her? She walked out slamming the door and the swordsman’s eyes hardened.

If Nami decided to personally ask him then someone more dangerous was involved.

Back in the bathroom the archeologist was humming quietly to herself as she drained the tub and let the steam dwell around her. The slam of a door from down the hall brought a smirk to her lips, Zoro had ticked Nami off and now she was going to play her part.

Robin knew from the moment you joined their journey you would be valuable. From the way the crew took a liking to you immediately and especially the way the captain would light up in your presence. Robin was extremely loyal to Luffy, she was going to do anything to ensure his happiness was preserved.

She knew you were scheming something with the swordsman. Just as she knew that the swordsman was aware of her presence whenever she’d try to lurk into the room. It’s not that she was doubting Zoro’s loyalty, but he obviously cared about you enough to even consider helping you get back home.

There were times where she questioned herself, she knew that keeping you here basically hostage was wrong. She lived her life running in fear and to keep you here against your will went against everything she stood for but… her captain was her number one priority now, and if making you cry yourself to sleep every night was the sacrifice then so be it.

The ship had finally settled and the moon was now at its peak, the boys room was filled with voices but surprisingly Luffy was quiet. Sanji took notice and eyes the swordsman from the corner of his eye. Without even looking towards him Zoro shrugged and turned the other way. He rolled his eyes and held his tongue not in the mood to argue, he was more concerned about his quiet captain who stared blankly at the wall.

Luffy wasn’t usually one to think too much about one thing for too long, so it was right to be concerned. Sanji stood tall peaking over into his cot and the boy met his gaze.

“ Something on your mind?”

A crack of a smile spring onto the captain’s face, he liked that his crew knew him so well. “ I’m just thinking of Y/N.” He sighed.

As of late you’d been running rampant through his mind. Every time he gets close you get farther and he doesn’t know how to fix it. You keep reminiscing about your old home and life, when you first got here you were ecstatic to be with him, he doesn’t know what changed.

You’d been more than happy when he welcomed you into his crew, you got along with everyone, and you fit so perfectly like his last puzzle piece. Then one day he woke up and started spewing things about wanting to leave. To leave him.

That thought angered him and he shot up from his cot startling Sanji. “ Why have the changed? We’ve been so kind. I don’t understand-”

“ They’re just homesick… we all get homesick.”

“ Yeah but it’s all the time with Y/N. She’ll laugh and play with us then started getting all sappy. It’s annoying me.”

“ Maybe it has something to do with this green moss ball sleeping underneath you— you seen how damn close they got. WAKE UP MOSS BALL!” Sanji hissed.

He kicked the swordsman’s cot waking him up and bringing the attention of the others in the room.

“ I have to watch in an hour what are you talking about in the middle of the night?”

“ How about you tell our very annoyed captain how you and Y/N have become so chummy.”

“ I don’t know why you’re all acting like this, isn’t it good that we’re friends? You guys need to evaluate your approach— and leave me alone.”

With that he fell right back to sleep the entire room thinking to themselves.

After that night the entire crew morphed into these disgustingly saccharine creatures. Catering to your every need like you were an infant who couldn’t be let out of sight for a moment.

In their minds you were their sweet Y/N and they were just helping you settle into your new home. Luffy’s annoyance spread to all the crew members, accept for you and they had a newfound determination.

Zoro decided it was better for the both of you to stop meeting too often, the outburst of Sanji let him know his efforts weren’t working. They were still hot on your tails and it was a matter of time before Luffy himself came to the two of you.

You were distraught, sitting in the kitchen eating a piece of cheesecake Sanji set out for you. You were finally so close and you had to be put on hold because for reasons Zoro wouldn’t share with you.

Nicknames included are Lu and Je, which you can replace with your name, since nothing else is mentioned. A born female magician and being damn powerful

Sighning, you leaned back on your cloud pillow you created to rest your muscels and mind from the past few days being coped up in your room, trying to figure out how to make Devil Fruit users swim, due to the constant whining of your boyfriend, also captain.

Closing your eyes, you breathed out, enjoying the quiet time, until you felt something in the water, making you groan. "Nami! 15 Marine ships comming in our direction with speed. 1 Mile away", you shouted to your orange-haired navigator, as hell broke loose.

Usopp and Chopper screaming for their lives, while Luffy was ready to kick some ass with Zoro and Sanji, which only made you groan. "Rough days, I presume", Robin stood next to you, looking at you. "I finally took a break and now this...why?", you whined and stood up, dismissing your cloud, in which Robin chuckled. "Nami! They´re comming from 2 o´clock, and cannonball is fired at 3...2...1", you said and indeed a cannonball came fireing, making you held your hand out as it stopped midair, before it fell into the water. "How the-wha-", Franky asked confused, looking at you. Standing on the railing, you heard the marine shouting about attacks, making you groan.

You began to concentrate your magic into your finger, as a tiny ball formed, hovering over your index finger. Pointing to the ships, the ball released.

"This tiny ball can´t do much-", began Zoro before a gigantic explosion interrupted him, making all turn to it to see the marine ships gone, soldiers in the water. The whole crew went silent.

And with a simple snip of your fingers, water rose by the sunny, releasing food and treasure onto the deck of the Sunny. "Good, peace and quiet now", you said and jumped onto the grass before going back onto your cloud.

"That was-" "AMAZING!!!!", Luffy sceamed and beamed, shining and joined you. "How did you do that!?" "Concentrate my magic to one point before releasing it. Quick and painless", you simply said as Nami, Chopper and Usopp came. "WE ARE UNWORTHY!", they said before bending down to you, making you blink. "...you just pretend to be weak?!", Zoro came to you. "I never pretend anything. My magic is 90% deadly, so-" "Oh, my beloved Goddess! I am just unworthy in your presence, pls forgive me", Sanji swooned over you before going on a knee in front of you.

"Sanji, pls. Neither of you is unworthy or weak. Magic is just different" "I didn´t knew you could be this strong!", Chopper looked at you with sparkles. "...that was actually nothing compared what I can do"

"Yohohoho...my eyes would defently pop out just imagining it, ah, I nave no eyes anymore. YOHOHOHOHO!!!", Brook laughed. "How strong are you?", asked Jinbei.

All looked at you. "When I say a One woman Army it´s enough. Believe me. I don´t want to go deeper", you admitted. "SUGE!", Lu was now in your face, beaming like a child because how cool he found you. "S you can kill", pressed Zoro and you nooded. "Very easily...with Lu, I could demonstrate it" "YES! YES!", your boyfriend was so eager for you to show off. Holding your hand out, you released a short breath.

"I can´t move", said Luffy before you moved your hand down, making Nami and Usopp, Chopper included, scream. "WHAT THE!" "Our captain is now a pancake", chuckled Robin and you lowered your hand, making your boyfriend sping up. "Now imagine this with real bones", you said.

"YOU COULD EASILY-", Zoro shouted, a vein pulsing on his head. "Yeah. But no" "Bro, she just stole your spot", patted Franky Zoro´s shoulder, who just growled. "Show.Me.More!!!", demanded your boyfriend. "Tomorrow? Please. I just finished up the thing you wanted" "The...thing?", Luffy tilted his head. "Yeah. I can now make Devil Fruit users swim"

"OH HELL NO! WHAT THE FUCK! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?! I`M OUT!", Zoro stormed away, clearly pissed. "Should we actually call you Goddess now?", admitted Robin. "Hm? Je a God?", asked Luffy Robin. "Yes. I mean, kind, gentle, sweet, always there to listen, strong, and you feel protected by her", she admitted with a soft smile.

"MY GODDESS~~~I will follow you to the end of the earth!", Sanji proclaimed and took your hand to give it a kiss but was pushed directly away by your boyfriends´ foot to the face, while he pulled you close.

"Stay away from Je! She´s mine! You have no right to kiss her hand, Sanji"

Loud bickering broke out, which made you laugh loudly. You always thought, that once they found out how strong you are, they would want you to leave the crew, in fear of endangering everyone else but never thought that you were being worshipped.

tbh,,, it’s probably the main reason he invited you onto the crew. you just look so funny to him! he’ll ask you a lot of questions, and would fiddle around with all your bows — not to be rude tho!! he’s just genuinely curious! oh and make sure to keep him away from your bags and jewellery, he’s probably gonna break it (nami, robin and you learnt this the hard way). he may come across offensive every now and then, but will not tolerate anyone being mean to you. the second he hears an insult leave someone’s mouth, they’re flying across the room!

⸝⸝ ꒰ NICO ROBIN

robin would find you absolutely adorable !!! she would love if you showed her any new dresses, shoes or accessories you’ve gotten ! she also wouldn’t mind if you wanted to ask her opinion on new pieces or if you wanted to take her along shopping! she loves the history behind the style and how it’s a movement to rise above society!! i think it would give her a sense of appreciation for it! if anyone was to make sexual remarks, or just be rude in general, she would use her devil fruit ability to smack them INSTANTLY!

nami’s first thought is how expensive everything looks. her soul leaves her body just thinking about it! everything is coming out of your pocket. if it’s your birthday, however, she’ll give you a little something! perhaps a new parasol, or some nice shoes! she’s very fun to go shopping with, you always get the best deals with her! she’s also the BEST hype-woman ever!!! she’s so down to do fashion shows with you. doing your makeup and hair together is one of her favourite things!

(this is a platonic relationship, but he is just being himself. there is mention of him treating you the same way he treats nami and robin… but no relationship!) sanji is hyping you up so much!!!! he’s constantly buying you new clothes, and is always making you sweets and pastries for tea parties! if you have a tea set, he’ll do everything in his power to keep it safe (which is quite a difficult task given the members of the crew). of course sanji will not tolerate any disrespect towards you! one minute they’ll be insulting you, the next they’re on the floor, a very red footprint on their face!

uncle jinbe !!! the innocence that the style gives you makes him much more protective ! he’ll happily sit for hours as you show him all your new things. don’t mistake his silence as distaste though, he’s simply enjoying the peace and softness of the moment! if your shoes are hurting you feet and making it difficult to walk, he’ll happily carry you on top of his shoulders for a while! jinbe is also not tolerable towards negative remarks, but he’s more patient. he’ll always give you a chance to stand up for yourself, and won’t cause a scene if you don’t want him to.

i don’t believe he would give it much thought. that’s not to say he doesn’t find it a little cute though. it only makes you look more weak, in his opinion. he can’t help but keep an extra eye on you during fights, even if he knows you’re a good fighter! don’t try to show him your new clothes, he’ll definitely most likely fall asleep! every now and then, zoro will say a few teasing words — he doesn’t mean it! it’s just fun to mess with you, he’s like an annoying and mean older brother! <3

Yes, yes, Sanji letting Zoro help in the kitchen by letting him chop vegetables because he's good with pointy objects.

BUT. Have you considered?

They live in a world without most electrical appliances. A FUCKTON of physical labor goes into baking (and keep in mind how often Sanji bakes treats for the girls).

Sanji being tired (physically) and not feeling like taking 10 min to whip whipped cream. Being tired (mentally) of Zoro making fun of him for never working out. Sanji saying "fuck it" and just starts putting him to work.

The foccacia dough needs to be kneaded? "Have fun working a sticky mess for 20 minutes, asshole"

Need meringue? "No, STIFF peaks marimo. Don't tell me you're wimping out already"

"Are you even TRYING to flatten that steak Marimo?"

"Yes, it needs whipped cream. YES, I know you just made some yesterday. We need more"

Zoro's shoulders are burning but he's trying SO HARD not to lose face with the cook and meanwhile Sanji is silently losing it at Zoro's shock that cooking can in fact be a workout

Skincare with the strawhats

A/n: I'm somewhere on episode 500 in One Piece. And looking back at my valorant post... I really did Franky, Jimbei, Chopper, and Brook wrong. But uh... I'll try to do better :D!! Btw this excludes Chopper cuz...how?

⭑Luffy, I'd say wouldn't understand much about it. I mean, he probably knows and have heard a bit from Nami and Robin but that's that.

⭑When you first explained it to him, he was half-listening, so he was a bit shocked when you sprayed some water on his face.

⭑Would think of it as a fun game and splash some water onto you too (your clothes sadly got wet :[)

⭑When you start adding some cream onto his face he found it funny and started making weird faces.

⭑Over some time, he'd actually start liking it and would start expecting one every week (and maybe even every day)

⭑And even if you guys were to do skincare every day, he'd either fall asleep or cause some ruckus. No in-between.

"Hey, Y/n!! Can we do the skinmare thing again??"

"It's skincare, Luffy, and yes."

⭑Overall, 6/10. He's not the worst, but there is definitely better.

⭑It's either Nami who will bring it up or you.

⭑She's the best to do skincare with since she got everything. Like everything

⭑Would prolly make you pay when you use one of her stuff (w/h or w/o permission)

⭑Would actually give you a piece of advice on what or what not to do though.

⭑While doing skincare, Nami will tell you gossip about the crew or from the last island.

⭑If you get on her good side, she might give you one of her equipment.

⭑Would secretly charge you money for all the wrongdoings you did though. And an extra 10,000 berries because you asked her to do skin care.

"Alright Y/n. This session would be 96,000 berries."

⭑Overall, 9/10. Definitely one of the best. con= -1 because she charges after skincare. Pro= You guys will now have skincare every week.

⭑You have to convince Zoro numerous times (and maybe even guilt trip him) just so he'd say yes.

⭑He'd be embarrassed at first and try to stay quiet (he doesn't want the lovesick cook to see him with a headband on and foam on his face)

⭑He's blushing so hard from embarrassment so be nice to him. It's also a good opportunity to tease him.

⭑Although too much teasing would opt to make him leave. Unless you ask Sanji instead or tell the crew what was happening to Zoro, that would make him stay back and listen.

⭑While doing skincare, he'd let you take the lead (considering he doesn't even know anything about it) and would only let out some grumbles and whines.

⭑After skincare, he'd look himself in the mirror and touch his face, noticing how smooth it was.

⭑He'd then look after the skincare and would ask you about it for more. He won't say it again though, so you better have good ears because he'll be all muttering.

⭑Overall. 7/10, he's very quiet and wouldn't do much unless you say so.

⭑Sanji would beg for it every. single. day

⭑And you finally had enough and said yes.

⭑Now before entering the bathroom, you can already smell the rosy perfume outside.

⭑WOULD have everything and anything. Maybe even more than Nami's skincare collection.

⭑He'd know what type of face skin you have AND the type you use. So it was no surprise when your essentials were already out.

⭑He'd beg give you assistance 24/7 while doing skincare

⭑He'd also ask you if you're feeling uncomfortable, having fun, and would ramble on about some new recipes he's learned.

"I hope you had fun today Y/n. I'm looking forward to the next."

⭑Overall, 10/10. He knows what you need and what you like. He also think of your situation/feelings, and that itself makes it 10/10 already.

⭑Ussopp would fly over the moon when you asked him.

⭑He'd gladly accept it and tell you he had a lot of experience in skin care (which isn't technically a lie since he knew some of it from Kaya)

⭑But of course, he'd still be scared and shaking. What if you didn't like it? What if you don't wanna do skin care with him again?

⭑He'd be rather stiff at first. Scared to disappoint you.

⭑But minutes later he'd start to cool down and come back to his normal self.

⭑Now every time you both will have skincare time. He'd have a bunch of stories saved up only for you.

"Oh Y/n! I have another story for you later."

⭑Overall, 9/10. He's really fun to be with and is def one of the best to do skincare with.

⭑You'd have to ask Robin to join you

⭑She never really thought of doing skincare together unless you bring it up.

⭑And you really know when to pick out the dates since she was so stressed at first T~T)>

⭑Being around a chaotic and childish crew could really stack up stress.

⭑But a simple skincare could really help it get out.

⭑Robin really much appreciated what you did. Especially when you massage her face and shoulders.

⭑It isn't only one-sided. She'd help you out by giving some advice and ideas when she sees you frowning at your own face. Even giving out some compliments.

"This has really helped out my day, Y/n. Thank you very much."

⭑Overall, 9/10. Really nice to hang out with, and would crack a dark joke once in a while.

⭑Franky would definitely say yes and strike a pose.

⭑He'd know a lot of this from Mozu and Kiwi and would sometimes buy them the products that they wanted.

⭑And since he's basically the crew's shipwright, he had definitely tried to recreate the product the stores have.

⭑But wait. It felt itchy when you tried it? Don't worry, he made a new one already. One that you'll definitely find lovely.

⭑You don't like how he designed it? Don't worry, he made an even bigger one with a design you'll like.

⭑Brook is jumping in joy and is asking to see your panties.

⭑Until he realizes he's a skeleton.

"Yohohoho! I'm really exci--oh..."

⭑Overall, 7/10. He's good for emotional support...I guess?

⭑Lastly, our good man Jimbei.

⭑(I only saw Jimbei a few times due to Impel down and Marineford so uh...)

⭑I'd say that skincare never really crossed his mind. I mean he IS a fishman after all.

⭑But once you told him about it and how it can help you relax, he decided to take up the offer.

⭑He's probably embarrassed and just standing dumbfounded. What was he gonna do?

⭑But dw since you helped him </33

⭑AND OMG HE TIED UP HIS HAIR INTO A FULL BUN?!?!?!?!? AHHHHHH (I'm fangirling DD:...i'M SORRY JIMBEI WS SO COOL)

⭑But back to the story. I'd say he really enjoyed that. AND OF COURSE HUGS!!! HUGS ARE VERY MUCH NEEDED!!!

⭑Overall, 7/10. He's pretty much quiet and doesn't know what to do. But the silence is really comforting.

I was wondering, what are the headcannons for how the strawhats would react to a reader who obtained a horrid wound in a fight, but wont show and tell them? (I know the strawhats wouldn't allow them to fight, just humor me)

Were talking almight stomach blast level wound and scar, but over their chest, one that barely missing their heart, with the only one knowing being chopper because he was the one who probably healed reader, or not if that's the direction your thinking, I'm cool either way.

No one has found you yet.

You take a slow, wavey breath in, a shallow breath out, as you grip your chest in pain. Rain fell upon your face as you listen to the distant sound of swords clanking, people screaming, and of course, your friends arguing even during the middle of battle.

It honestly made you smile, if you had to die at any moment, it would be now, after you did everything you could to protect your crew. You smile, knowing the ship was safe. And you smile even more, knowing your friends were safe.

The ship was wrecked, parts of it were missing, but most disturbingly, blood was everywhere.

Chopper scans the main deck with a bated breath as he examined the damage. The others were still fighting, and you stayed on the ship, just like they told you.

You had to be safe, but the trail of blood leading towards the storage room said otherwise. Chopper stumbles, nearly falling over as he carefully examines the blood. It was dry, the liquid already seeped into the floorboards and has darkened. Chopper quickens his pace, fallowing the trail before stopping at a door to the storage room.

There were a few small, red handprints that caused Chopper's stomach to churn. The doorhandle was completely soaked red, dripping onto the floor below. Chopper hesitates opening the door, afraid of what's inside. He takes a deep breath, entering the dark room with a shiver in his body.

He couldn't see anything right way, having to blink a few times for his eyes to adjust. He stumbles around as he tries to find the light switch, hearing wheezing coming from deeper in the room.

As the light flickered on, he could see more blood, and for a second, he thought he could smell you. "(Y/N)..." There was so much blood, it covered the floor and a few boxes. Chopper waited for a response, nearly letting out a sob when the room remained silent. The wheezing though, it remained, it was so miniscule he almost missed it.

Following the sound and the blood, Chopper is frozen by the sight of you, on the floor, your lower stomach and chest covered in blood. It seeped into your shirt, on your hand, and on the floor. You were the source of the wheezing; your mouth opened a bit while your eyes were shot wide. He could tell you were struggling to breath by the terrible sound coming from your mouth and by your chest that was struggling to rise and fall.

Chopper stumbled over to you with a loud sob. He searches your body for the source of the bleeding, realizing it's coming from multiple points. You don't move or react at all when he starts asking you questions in a panicked, rushed manner.

"(Y/N)!! W-what...what happened!?" He cries, growing frustrated when you don't answer, only continue to wheeze. Chopper takes your hand, pulling you to stand up, but you scream in pain, resulting in him dropping your hand immediately.

He panics for a second, looking at you, now groaning in pain, and the door leading back to the main deck, before crouching down next to your ear. "I'll be back...I'm going to get help." Chopper runs back onto the deck, your blood covering his hands.

On the deck, Chopper hops onto the railing closest to the island they were fighting on. He heaves, squinting as he looks for any familiar faces. There were too many people on the battlefield, but he could hear his friends far away. Taking a deep breath, he yells.

"Luffy!! Zoro!! Anybody!! (Y/N)'s hurt!!! Please come help!!"

Luffy stops moving, the marine he was fighting confused as Zoro stops as well, slashing a few marines in quick succession. "Was that Chopper?" Zoro turns towards the captain, who was already facing the sound.

Luffy's face was nearly devoid of emotion, only slight rage present on his face. He didn't say a world, and when the Marine behind him tried to pounce on him, he sends a punch flying his way. Teeth and blood shoot out as the Marine collapses. Blood drips down Luffy's fist as he faces Zoro.

"He said (Y/N) was hurt, let's go." Luffy didn't wait for him, bounding off towards the ship, Zoro quickly fallowing.

On the boat, Chopper was pacing tirelessly as he waits for anyone. Every few minutes, he rushes back to the storage room to check your pulse, it still beating faintly.

The moment he heard someone enter the deck, he rushed towards them, being greeted by a very panicked Luffy and Zoro. Chopper stammered a bit, watching with tears as Zoro's jaw tightens at the sight of the blood.

"Where are they." His voice was so cold, and Chopper could help but notice his tight grip on his swords. Chopper points towards the storage room, trying to catch up to the two men as they rush to you.

"I-I...they need to be moved to the medical room...I can't lift them...they're in pain..." Chopper explains as they weave in between the boxes of the storage room.

The wheezing has stopped, and Chopper swears his heart breaks when he Luffy shakily checks for a pulse, and his eyes widens when he doesn't feel it. Chopper starts to sob when Luffy hurriedly checks on the opposite side of your neck, then your wrist, which was cold.

"Chopper...why--there's not pulse--" Luffy mumbles, looking at the crying reindeer.

"I--I checked...they were breathing...I swear..." Chopper sobs, hiccupping as Luffy presses his fingers deeper like he refused to except what's happening.

"Zoro..." Luffy chokes out. Zoro had remained silent, his eyes fixated on you and the blood surrounding you. "Take them to the medical room." His words were stilted, robotic like as he directed Zoro towards you.

Zoro swallowed hard as he inched towards you. As he got closer, he could hear the squelch of your blood on the bottom of his shoes. He had to bite his tongue in order to ignore it, flinching when he touched your cold skin.

He wraps his arms around your shoulders and legs, attempting to lift you up when you groan in pain. The sound is more of a gurgle, but he could tell you were in pain by the blood that was now soaking his arms.

"You're okay...I'm just going to take you to the medical room." He whispers at your cries, trying not to drop you when you weakly cough out some blood. Luffy and Chopper follow him, Luffy attempting to hold your hand only for it to weakly flop to the side.

Zoro kicks open the door to the medical room, placing you down on the table while Chopper hops up onto a chair next to you. Luffy and Zoro stand next to you as Chopper cuts open your shirt. Underneath, stab wounds were littered all over your chest and stomach, a large, deep cut traveling near the side of your heart.

Luffy clenches his fist as Chopper pats alcohol onto the wounds. You remain quiet, your body still as Luffy keeps a hand on your pulse, constantly checking for any signs of light. He leans down near your ear, ranting to you in hushed whispers that you don't respond to.

"(Y/N)...you're okay. Everything is going to be okay. I promise when you wake up, I'll kill whoever did this to you." Zoro stopped listening to anyone or anything a while ago. He couldn't, not when you were so clearly dying right in front of him. No...you weren't dying...he wouldn't allow it. He refuses for you to die.

"Luffy! Zoro! Where did you--" Zoro turned around, being faced with Nami's terrified face. Her shaky hand was covering her mouth, and her eyes were blown wide. "W-w-what...happened..." She could barely get the words out as she attempted to move closer without actually looking at your wounds.

Luffy nor Zoro responds, Chopper having to do the work for them as he prepared the stiches for you. "I-I think they were attacked, I'm not sure."

"Do you think they're dead?" Luffy, who was previously to concerned with whispering in your ear, shoot up, sending Nami a terrifying look.

"NO!" He shouts, scaring Nami. He grips you hand tighter as Chopper begins to stich you up. He leans down back near your ear. "I swear I can feel a pulse. You feel it too, right Chopper?"

Chopper doesn't respond.

More footsteps are heard, all rushing towards the commotion. First was Usopp, who had a similar reaction to Nami, nearly screaming when he saw you on the table, asking questions no one could answer. Then came Sanji and Robin, who both were more muted, but still visibly upset at the state you were in.

"Do you know who did this." Currently everyone, except Luffy, was gathered in the dining room. Sanji was trying to make food for everyone, but no one was really in the mood for food currently.

Zoro shook his head at the cook's question. "No, but it had to be a marine who got onto the ship." Zoro was stating the obvious, but it was better than nothing.

Sanji placed down some soup for everyone onto the table, lighting a cigarette afterwards. "This is all your fault. I knew we should've kept them in an inn. Less obvious and less dangerous." Sanji snarled at Zoro.

"Yeah, an inn is super inconspicuous." Zoro rolled his eyes. "Dumbass."

"Don't call me a dumbass when your stupid decision has them laid out across a medical table!" Sanji howls, standing up in pure anger, nearly spitting on the swordman.

Zoro stands, face to face with Sanji. "Well at least I'm not selfish enough to keep them locked up somewhere they don't want to be."

Sanji laughed. "You're calling me selfish. They begged to be left off the ship for weeks now and you know who kept them from leaving? You!"

"Enough!!" Nami stands up, separating the two. "Blaming each other isn't going to solve anything. We did what we thought, as a crew, was best for them. We collectively me a choice." Nami says.

Sanji and Zoro both sit, rage still radiating off of them. Usopp, who was sitting near Chopper in the corner, looked down at his hands. "Do you...really think they're, y'know..." Usopp couldn't finish, he couldn't say the word, but they understood.

"No." Zoro said matter of factly. "They're going to be fine."

No one had the heart to refute him.

Luffy was still sitting right next to you, even when the sun set, and the stars were decorating the sky. He remined, waiting for you.

"And them Sanji kicked some Marines ass, it was so funny, he was crying like a baby." Luffy recounts the battle from earlier today. He smiles at your unconscious body, it was wide, but devoid of any real happiness.

Luffy wants to cry at the sight of you. He's the captain, he's your friend, he has to protect you, and he failed. He can talk to you, sit with you, apologize all he wants, but it doesn't change the fact you're still in this situation.

You were probably so scared, begging for them to help you, and they were off, none the wiser to your own plight. The thought makes him want to cry.

"(Y/N)...please...as your captain I demand you wake up. Right now." He was acting childish, but he didn't care. He wanted you back, that's all he cared about.

You didn't respond, he knew you wouldn't. But he had to try, it was the most he could do.

"When you wake up, Sanji said we're going to have a big feast." No, he didn't, he hasn't talked to Sanji in hours. "So, don't keep me waiting, alright?"

You didn't respond, and it was heartbreaking.

Life began to feel so boring. The days blended into one another and suddenly we’re in march. Staying up late catching up on your favorite show because there is nothing better to do right now. One piece was such a breathe of fresh air, full of adventure and characters that seem amazing to be around and explore the world with. You wished to be in the world where u can freely be who you wanted, the world where you weren’t shackled by the burdens of reality.

You’ve been around all the corners of the internet so you know of shifting and astral projection which is exactly what seems to be going on right now. Rewatching episodes leading up to the time skip around 4 in the morning till your eyes flutter shut. Suddenly the wafting scent of the ocean filled your nose. “ Is she a stowaway?” “ How have we just found her we haven’t been on land for over a week now”. You opened your eyes to the snout of a reindeer and other very familiar faces.

You sat up so fast knocking into the poor doctor. Panic set through you because the first assumption anyone would have is that they’re in a dream or— congrats you’ve finally lost your damn mind. “ Who are you people”.

“ We’ve got the same question for you”

“ well I asked first”

The blunt part of a sword was thrust into your face by a very angry green swordsman. Fear etched across your face you give him a once over. Zoro. To your left was Robin and chopper holding his snout on her lap. There should be absolutely no reason that you’re in this world with these wacky 15th century pirates from your goofy anime show. Your voice shakes as you try to convince the green haired man to stop threatening your life.

“ Listen this is surely a misunderstanding, I really don’t understand how I have gotten here and I’m not really too sure who you people are.”

Maybe if they think that I don’t know who they are I can figure out a way to get out of this mess without ruining the story.

“ What is your last memory before you woke up on our ship” a voice from behind spoke. Turning to the left at the top of the stairs was Nami with Sanji following behind her.

“ I was laying in my bed falling asleep and then I woke up here”

After that you were bombarded with questions, what’s your name, your age, if an 8ft skeleton can see your underwear and it nearly drained the life out of you. The sun was now beginning to set after such a long day of being interrogated by the crew you used to watch through a screen. The captain was sitting on the head of the Sunny watching the day fade away when he stretched his arm to you pulling you to sit with him.

It was quiet for a while and nerves began to set in. Does he see through me? I know a lot of people don’t give luffy the credit but he’s way more intelligent than you’d think. “ What is it like where you’re from y/n” he spoke as he turned to face you.

“ Very different.”

“ Tell me about it please”

The sun completely faded into night and the stars littered the sky while you told luffy about “ where you’re from” and he was absolutely entranced by the world he’s never been. You ended up telling Luffy the truth about your origins, somewhat about himself, there was just something so compelling and trusting about him you didn’t think nothing of it. You slept in the girls room next to Nami that night, thinking about the next step and getting home.

Was this really a dream or did your desire to escape mundane life make you shift into this world of unknown.

The next day you went to eat breakfast with the crew and luffy starts spouting all the things you told him the night before. With seemingly no thought behind his words as he swallowed everything on his plate, though his crew members all stopped to stare at you in confusion.

“ I thought you said you weren’t from here?”

“ You said you didn’t know how you got here”

“ Well I wasn’t exactly lying, I really don’t know how or why I’ve been transported into your world. I just didn’t want to scare you or make you think I’m crazy with all of this.”

Over the next few days you were beginning to settle with the crew, you spent hours getting to know everyone and having the most fun you’ve had in years. Nami and Robin were curious about your world and you were more than elated to tell them all the things you enjoyed. The boys liked when you played their silly games, Sanji was obsessed with everything about you and loved having you perched on the counter when he was cooking so you can serve as his taste tester.

Zoro only just began to acknowledge you after finding out you also had a love for drinking, it became really easy to bond with the man. You knew you had to go back but what’s the harm in spending time with such a loving group of people, it’s not everyday someone is given your experience don’t waste it being worried.

You were able to convince Nami to give you a blank sheet of paper where you wrote all the things you knew about shifting and astral projection. You’ve been with the crew over a week now spending every night trying to shift back to your world. Sometimes you feel close others are strangely disturbed by Robin and Nami whether they are sparking up a conversation with you or knocking things over which disturbs your concentration.

The next few days you began to see birds meaning you were finally reaching land, the sabody archipelago. You know the way this arch ends and you need to go home now before you spend two years on an unknown island doing who knows what because YOU aren’t a straw hat and you have no place where you can learn to polish your skills.

The bubbly island became visible and you’d be reaching it by midday, while you were sitting on the head of the Sunny with Luffy again he asked you his million dollar question.

“ Y/n join my crew” he smiled. Your cheeks burned and you had to turn away from the boy whose smile brightened all your days.

“ Luffy I would love to but—”

“ Great- EVERYONE Y/N” you clasped your hand over his mouth.

“ Luffy l can’t join your crew. I have to go home I don’t even belong in this world”

“ Why do you want to leave” sadness dripped from his voice.

“ Yeah, we’ve been having so much fun” the small doctor announced from the deck.

“ It has been very fun I’ll admit but I don’t belong here with you guys. I’ve got a whole life in my world— and a family and just so much to do.” You reasoned.

The rest of the day the crew seemed angry and distant, you simply couldn’t understand why. When they all found out where you really came from they said they would help you get home. During dinner that night you were seated between luffy and Zoro who barley uttered a word while hushed conversations were surrounding the rest of the table. It was insufferable and reminded you of elementary school when someone didn’t want to be your friend anymore and told everyone about it.

“ Luffy are you upset with me? I haven’t done anything wrong”

“ Why do you want to leave? You just joined the crew and were on a new island”

“ I never said I was joining your crew luffy”

“ you know the captain doesn’t take no for an answer y/n” Zoro chuckled.

With a huff you stood up everyone’s eyes landing on you. “ Are you all acting this way because you don’t want me to leave?”

“ Why would we want a crew member to leave us?” Nami’s voice wobbled as tears formed in her eyes. Are they serious? When did u ever agree or tell these people that you were a part of their crew.

“ Listen closely all of you. You have to understand I am not from here, I never joined the straw hats, and I don’t even have any powers I can’t protect myself.”

“ That’s why you have me Y/n-chwaaan”

“ ignore that idiot cook but you have Luffy and I, we wouldn’t let anything happen to you”

“ Who is an idiot you damn moss ball !”

These people have convinced themselves you are one of them and they don’t want you to leave. You decided tonight will be the night where you will go home with or without their help especially because you already know what’s in store the next day. Laying next to Nami that night waiting for her breathing to even out so you can concentrate with no interruptions you hear soft sobbing.

“ Are you alright Nami..”

“ Y/n I know you want to go back but can you stay a little longer we all care about you and enjoy having you around. We really feel like you’re one of our crew mates”

“ Sure, I’m not missing anything important right now” lying is better than letting this girl cry all night. When her breathing finally evened out you were able to try again.

Eyes fluttering open you were finally in your own bedroom. It was just as you left it, your iPad paused on the intro to one piece and the sun was showing through your curtains.

I really did it.

Life began as usual but you had a newfound appreciation for all the little things that made life worth it. Friends and family found your new outlook pleasant and you finally felt like you turned on a new leaf. While you were getting ready for bed applying all of your creams and oils the Tv in the living room turned on.

Wealth, Fame, Power.

A chill ran through your spine, you haven’t watched the show in over a month in fear of being brought back into that world by some odd chance. Getting up to turn off the tv something in the hallway made a noise. The fear of someone or something being in your house had you clenching on the door knob for dear life.

Just open the door nothing is there you’re only scaring yourself.

Opening the door and walking down the dark hallway into the softly illuminated living room the episode of the strawhats finally meeting up after two years was playing.

“ My favorite arch I should rewatch soon”

“ Why don’t you live it instead?” A voice from behind hissed.

You felt your heart thumping in your ears as you slowly turned to be met with a very angry Captain.

Hii i was wondering if I could request a story for platonic yandere straw hats (gear 5 luffy, zoro robin focused please) with a reader who just set out to sea and is 17 and they flirt with everyone but when they do it back she screams and runs a away because she doesn’t really mean it

Center Of Attention~..

You took a step back and slowly let out a breath, the sound of the waves washing over the shore ringing through your ears.

Finally.

After years of training and waiting for this moment to arrive it finally came. You were setting out to sea all by yourself, a rush of adrenaline shot through just thinking about all the things and steps you would take on your own.

In your now whole 17 years of life you dream that about exploring the deep blue sea, what it would feel like to see new islands, meet new people and just overall have the fun you wanted and craved.

You had everything packed for the trip, food water and you knew enough knowledge to get around..

Imagine your surprise when you saw a small island only a few days after setting out, was this just fate or beginners luck?

Ah, what the hell right? Why are you even thinking so hard? you just set out!

As you drifted closer and closer to land, in the corner of your eye you saw a ship, a very large ship compared to the little boat you were riding in.

It was almost impossible to miss as it had a giant..lion in the front?..

Wait..that ship looked familiar..

Squinting your eyes quizzically, you looked at the Jolly Roger in front.

A strawhat.

Hmm..where did you see that straw hat before..?

Before you could even begin to rattle through your brain even more for answers, your small little wooden boat bumped into the wooden dock that led into the grassy land of the island you spotted.

Deciding to just shrug it off, you quickly got off your boat and dusted yourself off. Anchoring the wooden boat quickly, to head up on land and explore for the first time.

But you didn’t even realize the piercing, blood red eyes following your every move in pure curiosity..

Drinks pouring, plates clacking, constant chattering, so many distinct sounds in a small town bar you could hear. Looking around cautiously yet calmly you were taking in the details of your surroundings.

A little bored, you leaned your head against your hand as you watched the bartender clean a dish.

Who thought setting out to sea would be so…

Boring?..

You then felt another soft sigh leave your throat. It was almost as if-

Wait.

Silence…

The whole bar suddenly fell into silence. Why was that..?

A chill then ran down your spine.

It couldn’t be..no..

Smoke

Smoke seemed to fill the air as a godly like presence surrounded you.

Eyes..

Eyes felt like they were watching you from behind.

Hands..

Soft feminine hands caressed your body in utter curiosity. It was not a sexual feeling but it just felt so..violating?..

They poked and prorated their way into your skin, touching you like you were a brand new toy of some sort..

Just then a protective gaze fell over you. Pressure was building up inside your body. It was like the whole world had stopped, pushing you down into a small glass box to be looked at like you weee the most interesting, beautiful and peculiar thing on this earth.

A loud laugh then erupted from behind you, but of course, even if you could look turn around to see who was enjoying the view you didn’t.

So many emotions surrounded you, like the whole world was spinning with all of these frustrating yet distinct feelings.

Pause.

Everything just paused and then..it was over.

Just what in the hell was..that..?

That sense..that feeling of being watched.

Letting out a soft sigh, you ran a hand through your hair touched it behind your ear. Maybe you could trick that lousy bartender into think you were the right age to drink or even close. Glancing sideways to check your surroundings, you found that everything seemed to go back to normal completely like that whole hallucination didn’t even happen for a second.

Just as you were about to let out another sigh you spotted woman sitting beside you.

She seemed so calm, yet..off. Was she there before?..

Her eyes were a dark aqua blue and she had her black hair that fell down her back midway. A mischievous smile spread across your face as you were known to be quite the flirt back in your village.

Why not talk to this beautiful woman to calm your nerves down? It’s not like anything bad could happen from it..

Scooting closer to her, you put on your most charming smile and spoke to her, taking a mental note at the drink she was holding so elegantly.

But just before you could even utter a simple sentence you noticed something.

She wasn’t alone.

About nine other people were chatting behind her, they were a very peculiar bunch to say the least..a talking reindeer..a skeleton..? And..

Wait.

You heard a very familiar laugh from afar. It was loud and held loads of joy in it like a never ending joke. Slightly tilting your head to get a better view you saw him.

He was…different from the others to say the least..

His white hair was flowing majestically and..was was he floating?

His eyes were an apple red and his grin..his very side grin made him look like he was friendly but at the very same time up to no good. Next to him was swordsman with strangely three swords!

One of his eyes were slit closed and his lead green hair stuck out like a sore thumb. His expression was rather stern and almost made chills run down your spine from the way his intimidating aura surrounded the whole area.

You didn’t even catch the sharp glance at you that turned into a stare once you began talking approach the black haired woman.

You but your lip and hesitated, they seemed like pirates..and a group you didn’t want to mess with, so should you just back away?..

You’re already this close..and not to mention you could practically feel half of them staring at you from afar so why not?..

So…you gave a charming smile and began to speak to woman with your best ‘you come here often punchline?’

Sure, she was beautiful but..you only flirted as a joke of course.

So when she simply chuckled at your little sentence and began to lean closer you..

You kinda panicked and made up and excuse to leave the bar..

Yes it was a very..rational response, but what we’re you suppose to do?..out of all the reactions you didn’t really expect that to happen in all honesty…

Plus, all of those eyes on you made you feel incredibly uneasy. In your peripheral vision, you could just feel and see their gazes follow your every move. The swordsman’s face from earlier would maintain and stern expression.

So stern it seemed protective.

You wondered why that was..

As the waves crashed against the shore you would let out a deep, long sigh. The moonlight shining directly on your face. For the past hour you felt as if you weren’t alone..

Now closing your eyes, you heard rustling in the bushes.

Damn squirrels..

Couldn’t you just have one moment of peace?..

It was already enough you couldn’t get that longing curios stare off of you no matter how hard you tried but it was the fact that-

Step..

Wait..that wasn’t a squirrel..

Opening your eyes you spotted three distinct figures. Stepping out of the shadows came three of the people who seemed most uhm..fond of you? Hell, how were you supposed to know?..

It felt like they were stalking you at this point!

In fact..

“Are you three just stalking me at this point? Where I come from, if your into someone you just take ‘em out on a date..just ask m’Kay? I would be happy to-”

The swordsman, seemed to snicker and the other two couldn’t help but chuckle at your comment..or at least the blue eyed woman..it seemed like the one in white couldn’t control his laughter no matter what situation.

Half an hour later you were all sitting in the grass and talking together. You learned a lot of things..the woman’s name was Robin, the swordsman was Zoro and the boy with a godlike aura was originally Luffy.

They both tried to explain to you that he was in his 5th gear..

Whatever that meant..

The more you found yourself talking to them the more..weird their behavior began to grow. Robin would use her devil fruit to play with your hair or poke and prod at you again..

That seemed familiar didn’t it?..

Meanwhile Zoro and Luffy would quickly interrupt you when you tried to call it a day and leave to go find a hotel to stay in for the night, speaking over you or just even giving you a blank look before talking about something else.

You sighed while Luffy babbled on about meat and his adventures, Robins extended hand was poking your cheek and Zoro kept a sharp eye on you to make sure you didn’t try to leave..

Why though?..why were they so attached..?

Suddenly, you felt a very sharp sting in your neck.

A soft gasp left your lips as your body slowly fell to the soft grassy field. Now having the perfect view of the river that was shining from the moonlight.

“Awww! Robin! Why’d you’d have to do that?! I was just about to tell her about how I get to the fridge every night! And I was just about to ask her to join our crew!!”

“Fu Fu Fu~..sorry captain I couldn’t resist..”

You saw Zoro roll his eyes before he looked down at you silently and without any trouble he lifted you over his shoulder to carry you to..that ship! That ship that you knew looked familiar..

Trying to speak or yell or anything to help with the situation didn’t help as for some reason it felt as if your mouth was sewed shut.

All you felt was a gentle hand pat your back reassuringly as you slowly closed your eyes and drifted off into unconsciousness..

When you woke up everything was spinning, you were in a diner of sone sort..multiple people were chatting and eating around the table like it was an everyday normal dinner..

A soft melody of a violin could be playing and you couldn’t help but get lost in it while the others talked, laughed and yelled..

Wait..was the skeleton playing that..?

The same people at the bar..

No! It couldn’t be..right?

“You idiots!! Why did you have to drag her all the way here! Now she’s probably uncomfortable!!”

The orange haired woman said as you groaned in displeasure, her dark brown chocolate eyes scanning you and your body in worry.

Just then, everyone at the table seemed to glance at you with a soft smile..

Just what were you in for..?

Why were you here?..

You had so many questions..but you pull barely move let alone speak..

One thing you know for sure is that you’d definitely be the Center Of Attention from now on..~

─ How you came into the life of this crew was curious…

─ You were just on a random island and you decided to go for a run, the problem is that you activated your fruit and you just fell down a ravine, luckily there was a ship right below.

─ You fell on top of poor Usopp who was working on some bombs for his slingshot, the poor boy just thought he was dead when he opened his eyes and was lying there looking at the sky.

─ But his mind began to work and luckily he didn't have much more than a few scratches and bruises, nothing serious, however his eyes bulged to see how you calmly got up, removing the splinters from your clothes, "HOW are you still alive?!" "It was a small fall, I wouldn't die for it, I'm sorry I wrecked whatever you were doing by the way."

─ And you just wanted to get out of there, but a sharp sword made you unable to go any further if you didn't want to be beheaded.

─ After some threats, some insults and hitting from Nami, you decided that you should at least fix the mess you've caused.

─ And you know, one thing leads to another and maybe they got attached to some of your ways while you were helping them, of course you did too but you wouldn't say it out loud.

─ You used to travel alone but now you have some friends to turn to if you have problems, Luffy doesn't ask for many requirements for you to be in the crew either.

─ And speaking of Luffy… he will be one of your greatest contributions so that you don't get bored, although Nami will scold you two because your tag game sometimes goes too far.

─ You will inevitably have a lot of arguments with Sanji at first, but he doesn't see you as an 'opponent' like Zoro.

─ Which leads to you being in arguments between these two, like you're the little brother and you have to choose one side or the other, "I'm telling you that he prefers to cook with me" "that's stupid, he always enjoys training with me" "Who would you rather go with?" "Franky"

─ And despite enjoying time with the two of them, Franky always had interesting things to look at, and you were trying to talk him out of it in order to make the ship go much faster, you know, speed is your thing after all.

─ "For the tenth time, no, I won't put those thrusters to go faster, it would waste a lot of energy" "I can give you that energy!"

─ The only moments of more tranquility that you have are with Brook, Robin and Nami, because normally you are someone a little restless when you are with your captain, however these three manage to bring out the calm that you can not have while playing.

─ You are also someone somewhat reckless who tends to underestimate the capabilities of your opponents, that's how your ego works sometimes and you end up wearing yourself out in battles to the point of exhaustion.

─ Chopper is always so worried, because he sees you bump into things while you run and you just go back to walking like nothing happened, "Time to get checked out!" "But yesterday you did it?" "I never know when you can get really hurt so it's daily check ups for you" "Oh come on…"

─ You are probably one of the youngest in the crew, so they will surely see you as someone to take care of and protect.

─ That doesn't mean that they don't know that you know how to take care of yourself, they trust you but whenever they can help you in your battles they do.

─ Usopp is probably the one to calm you down when before a fight the villain starts describing their evil plan or harsh life, "Just sum it up dammit, we don't care about your filthy life!" "P-please calm down, we don't need any more trouble with a guy like that…"

─ Something about you is that you don't give a shit about what people talk about you, but if it's towards someone you appreciate, you'll just lose it.

─ Jinbe is probably like a second father (or the father you never had), he is the one you feel the most respect for and the one you joke with the least, plus you like to learn some karate and you are a quick learner.

─ They all appreciate that you care about harmful comments or actions towards them, but they also won't let you kick a guy at 200 km/h for saying something bad about them, "Just let me hit them, they'll see how pretty the stars are if they don't die from the impact!" "You can't just go around hitting random people for giving us dirty looks!"

Synopsis: Y/N has an itch, and itch that can’t be reached because of an unspoken threat opposed to them.

The sun beamed brightly on your skin as you looked about the vast blue ocean. You don’t remember exactly how long it’s been since you’d first met them, you couldn’t bring yourself to care anymore. This world was so different in every way, even the air it was more, pure. You felt like you’d been dreaming or maybe you died and finally went to heaven. You’d gotten to escape the hell that is ‘ mundane life ’. No school, tests, homework, parents creeping over your shoulder. No worries anymore… right?

You hated when you thought about things like that. You wanted to just be free and grateful but every now and then you missed it, got homesick, and your new friends always noticed the shift. You’d go from laughing and playing to sitting on the edge of the deck staring blankly at the sky or the sea letting your mind race, thinking of the life you once had.

“ Y/N come, we’re having lunch !”

You looked over your shoulder and smiled, that was your captain, you wanted to be more like him. He was the epitome of freedom and he was always filled with joy, you couldn’t remember a single moment where he wasn’t like that. Of course, there were times where he was different, when his energy shifted, it made the rest of the crew different as well. That’s why you didn’t like to get in your head, those were the times where Luffy and the crew reminded you of predators.

You laughed at the thought, how silly and imaginative you were. That’s what Robin would say whenever you came to her about your feelings. The rest of the crew also shared a laugh when you’d talk about feeling home sick.

“ Y/N how are you homesick? You’re right at home with us, silly!”

You’d laugh along and continue whatever you were doing but there was always, always an itch in the back of your mind. The itch that wanted you to question things more, the itch that wanted you to go home, not your home with the crew but the home where you were studying to become an artist at FIT, the itch that the face you look at in the mirror wasn’t really the face you’d been staring at for eighteen years, the itch of danger when you asked too many questions.

That itch that could only be soothed by full on distraction. That itch made you want to scratch your skin raw, the feeling of your throat being clogged like you were sick because you couldn’t reach it.

The crew was good at keeping you sedated, the captain held you close on the head of the ship, the navigator ran you baths filled with rose petals to help you sleep, the cook made you desserts and fun drinks with little umbrellas, the doctor didn’t need to put any effort besides smiling and crawling into your arms, they all did their part. They all did whatever they had to in order to keep that itch from invading your veins and disrupting the life they worked so hard to build.

You were eating comfortably now, lunch was great as always and your thanks always went to the cook. He was sweet and handsome, he was a prince but you can’t remember exactly why you knew that. Why did you know so much about these people that you met not so long ago? Why did you so eagerly leave your island, your home to be with them? There it goes again, it was only gone for a short time before it came back, that itch.

You didn’t know what face you were making but with the way the swordsman was glaring at you it wasn’t a good one. “ Y/N let’s spar in the crows nest, you’ve finished your lunch right?” You looked across the table and finally met eye contact with him, he was trying to communicate with you, this wasn’t new. You nodded and stood up bringing your plate to the sink and following him out.

Zoro was a little different from the rest of the crew, your itch never bothered him but he never responded to your questions the way you wanted him to. It was like he was speaking in code, at times you wished you were as smart as Robin because you couldn’t tell if your were misinterpreting what he was saying.

“ Patiences is a virtue ”

“ You keep letting them see you this way,”

“ I can’t help you if you don’t at least try ”

Or when he would tap your shoulders to silence you, because someone was listening just outside the door.

Fear.

You were so disoriented and it took you a while to realize the emotion that ran rampant through your body was fear. Fear of what? Why were you so afraid? Why does nothing make sense? You were so happy to be here. To be traveling on such a vast ship with your friends, discovering islands and uncovering history itself.

“ Y/N today I want to teach you something new.”

You looked up at the swordsman again as you walked up the stairs to the crows nest, you felt eyes drilled onto the back of your head so you answered him, in code of course.

“ That’s great, I always like something new.”

He gave you a smile. It took you a while but it seems you finally understood him, he was thankful. Anymore time and you would’ve been caught. Hours went by and the sun began to fade into a bright red hall in the sky, the fish tank had become more illuminated as day turned to night. When you took your break you stared at them, the way they swam aimlessly back forth.

“ Do they remind you of yourself?” He inquired.

You looked to him— oh right his name is Zoro, Roronoa Zoro. You smiled and nodded, “ Yeah, a little. What about you?” He nodded and you both continued to stare at them.

Zoro was known to have a hard exterior, never speaking too much, never laughing or smiling.. but that was t true at all? Why did people think that? Who thinks that?

Strange. But, what’s new.

When you were alone with him that exterior cracked, his features softened and he wasn’t on guard like he usually was in front of everyone else. The crows nest was his safe haven, he was protected from wandering eyes. Not just from his crew mates but the eyes of anyone who could spot him when he was on the deck of the ship.

You felt lucky to be able to see this side of him, the side where he wasn’t Luffy’s right wing, the side where he wasn’t worried about his friends livelihood. Of course he showed this side to the doctor on board, it was like he was an older brother to him.

That night you went to sleep comfortably, Zoro had brought you serenity and calmed your nerves. Tomorrow was going to be the same, but as the days goes by you were comfortable enough to say that if you truly had anyone it was him.

Your mind was settled but in your dreams you were someone else. They were familiar, you knew the places in your mind like the back of your hand.

“ Y/N if you can hear, please, come back to us.”

The sun was about to set down, the waves calm, the breeze playing with your hair and dancing on your skin, breathing in the fresh ocean air as "I SEE IT!!! THERE THERE!!!", your boyfriend shouted loudly, breaking you away from your daydreaming and leaned a bit over the railing to see the island.

"If that what there stays is true, we can finally relax and enjoy a few days", Nami joined your side, Berry signs in her eyes but also a look of relief.

A few days ago, a bird came and gifted you a map before it flew away. Apparently this was some sort of resort for Pirates all kind but only the most prestige ones were being invited. While the crew cared for some days off, the captain was eager for a new adventure.

The Sun was nearly set as you arrived, a person at the dock showing Jinbe where he could stop the Sunny. "Adventure! Adventure!!", shouted Luffy. "And this time, you come with us to an relaxing spa! No discussion", Nami hugged your shoulders, making you laugh. "Do I need to remind you the bathhouse at the Flower Capital?", you added and Robin chuckled at that. "And for that, you will always be respected", she smiled at you, making you huff.

"Who are you?", asked Luffy. Looking down, you saw a man, dressed like y butler with a black mustache, a friendly smile on his lips and slicked back hair. "Welcome Emperor Luffy, to Notteve Island. A special Island for prestige Pirates known around the New World. My name is Zion, and I personally welcome here. I hope everything will be to your liking", he bowed like a butler did.

"Thanks!", grinned Luffy and wanted to dash away but Zion snipped with his fingers, making a wall appear in front of Luffy. "I apologize, emperor Luffy but I´m afraid I can´t let you enter like that" "Ha?", Luffy tilted his head, confused. "On Notteve Island, there is a dresscode for the fight. Men only in suits, while woman must wear dresses"

Your eyes widen "Do Jumpsuits count?!", you asked him directly as he looked at you, shaking his head. "I´m afraid not, Madam. All Pirates here, as well the citizens, dress up formally at night. Without it, I can´t let you enter", he spoke calm and collected, making you hand your head.

"3 gorgeous woman dressing up! And seeing our Goddess in a dress for the first time, my heart!", Sanji swooned, making you whine, While Nami and Robin smirked at you with smiles, dragging you away.

Nami choose a teal off shoulder mini dress, which hugged her curves to the finest, with long sleeves, you did her hair in a waterfall braid, topped off with some teal flowers in her hair, matching the dress. "Wow! I look stunning! Thank you so much" "I don´t know shit abut getting fancy but braids, that I know", you admitted, making Nami laugh.

Robin choose a amethyst neckholder dress that went to her knees, the ends slightly ruffled, topped off with a Partial Updo hairstyle, made also by you, along with a hairpiece to top it off. "Thank you kindly" "Always. You two look like stars. Queens", you admitted as both looked at you. "Now to you!", smirked Nami. "I stay on the sunny", you said fastly. "I will drag you across the whole island by your hair", Nami smiled threateningly, making you sigh, giving in.

Robin chuckled, knowing your weakness so the three of you went to your room, Nami practical raiding your dresser until she gasped. "THIS! YOU HAVE TO WEAR THIS!", Nami practically threw the dress at you, demanding you to wear this.

Another sigh left your lips as you did it, making Nami gasp, a blush on her cheeks. It was a one shoulder hourglass dress, a slit going up to your tigh, revealing one of your legs, golden feather designs going fron your chest and waist up to the shoulder, from it hanging a long piece of white cloth, you left your hair open, using your magic to real pearls in it, slipping into heels, and you were done.

"I feel so weird", you admitted. "WHAT?! You look like you came from Heaven. Now I see why sanji calls you Goddess" "Nami!", you flushed red, making Robin chuckle yet again. "JE! Are you done?! We want to go!", Luffy whined from outside. "Showtime", smirked Nami and opened your door, stepping out with Nami and Robin. You heard the praises of Sanji, his flirting made you chuckle as you stepped out.

As soon Sanji saw you, he turned into stone, falling over, Zoro´s eye wide open, and Usopp blushing fully. "Wow!", the sniper just said and Chopper looked at you with wide eyes. "Are you a Goddess?", he came to you, asking. "Yohohoho may I see you pan-", Nami knocked brook over as you looked at the boys. "Wow, you look handsome...where is Luffy?" "Is this a cape?", a vice said behind you, making you turn around to see your boyfriend inspecting the cloth, and you blushed.

He wore a simple white dress shirt to his ellbows, over it a red vest plus tie, long black pants and what surprised you most- dress shoes! "You look so good in formal wear", you said out loud, making you flush again.

"Shishishi! Thanks! You look like a ruler of an island! But now, come!", he dashed down to Zion, as he inspected all of you, giving the ok and Luffy was away. "Ah, I forgot to tell him that since you are an emperors crew, everything is all inclusive for you. You don´t need to pay for any drinks or food here" "That Luffy became an emperor is finally looking upon us. Come on!", Nami grabbed your wrist and dragged you with her.

It was now shortly before midnight, as you walked alone around the city. It resemble Tesoro quite a lot, just without the gold, and minus the staff working here. You quickly got separated from Nami and robin due to all kinds of men swarming around you three, making you uncomfortable. You stopped near a bridge, looking down at the big river that flew through Notteve, simply starring at the water and sky.

"Je?", someone said and you turned around to saw your boyfriend, who smiled warmly at you, joining you. "And here I thought you were at an all you can eat buffet" "I was! At 5! Ate them all empty", he admitted, causing you to chuckle.

Luffy looked fondly at you, a bright smile over his lips before he blinked. "Je! Let´s go on a date!", he grabbed your hand. "Now?" "Yes, come!", he smiled, making you nod. "Great! Where do you want to go?" "You know what? I´m craving ice cream" "Uh, yes! Come! Come!"

Time flew by fastly with Luffy. Strolling around, trying different food and drinks, you smiled. "I was expecting you to drag me off somewhere" "Ah, no. Not tonight. I want to have your pace" "Luffy", you were kinda shocked to hear it. "It´s nice! So relaxing with you...and you always join me on my adventure, so....", he looked away.

"Nami called you and gave you an earful, didn´t she?" "She and Sanji, yes", he admitted and breathed out, causing you to burst out into laughter. "Lu! You could´ve told me!", you beamed at him. "But I was having fun with you" "And here I was wondering why you were to gentleman like tonight" "That and I don´t like the shoes", he groaned. "I tell you what. We go back to the sunny and change, take a bit of a nap and when the sun is back up, we go on an adventure you want. How does that sound?"

His eyes began to sparkle. "I love you!", he declared and pulled you in for a tight hug, your head resting on his shoulder, smiling. "We use my rocket!", he declared. "No, we use my gate", you said and opened a gate straight to your room on the sunny, making Luffy dash through it. "Ah! Fluffy bed", he laughed, as you also, went through the gate, a smile on your lips and how much you loved your boyfriend.

Personal headcanon that Usopp and Nami bought their mothers' recipes with them on the Merry. Neither family was particularly rich but (and I'm basing this on my family) they have a few notecards with recipes lovingly writing down. They're borderline illegible and probably says things like "a pinch of nutmeg," "enough salt," and "measure garlic with your heart". (Bellemere's orange duck recipe is there, and I don't remember Banchina cooking, but maybe she has pie or fudge recipes that Usopp barely remembers anymore).

Sanji loves them and tries to recreate them whenever possible, especially if it seems like some comfort food is needed or if someone just really needs a pick me up. They are treated with upmost care and kept safe to avoid damage.

We'll Always Protect You (Yandere Strawhats x reader)

So, I just finished the Skypiea arc, and I wanted to write some blurbs on how each of the strawhats would protect you. Remember to like, comment, and reblog if you enjoyed this. Thank you so much.

At the end of the day, Luffy is a child, or at least he acts like one. He thinks he deserves everything, including your time and attention.

"Come oooonnnn (Y/N)!" Luffy droned, grabbing your arm in an attempt to pull you away from the fruit you were inspecting. "I'm bored."

"You didn't have to come, Luffy." You say as you pay for a melon and gently place it in your basket. "Either way, it was my turn to shop." Luffy ignores your words with a frown, continuing to pull you away.

With a huff you face him, "Look Luffy, there's like, two more things were need." You show him the shopping list, pointing to a few more spices you needed. "Why don't you go get the last few spices and I'll get the rest. We can meet back up at the ship when we're done."

Luffy thinks about it for a minute before smiling, snatching a few barries from your bag. "Alright, as long as it means we'll be done sooner." Quickly, he's bolts off, running towards the other stores and stalls.

You let out a breath, happy to get a few seconds alone. You look back at the list, just a few more things left, you should finish shopping before afternoon if you find everything you need quickly.

"Hey, watch we're you're going!" You let out an oof on impact, bumping into some random man. He looks, and smells drunk, and his face looks anything but pleased as he stares down at you in anger.

"I'm sorry, I didn't..." Your words are caught in your throat as you feel the hand around your wrist tighten painfully, he must've grabbed on to you when you ran into him.

"Don't you know how rude it is, you could've hurt me." You were doubtful that was true, you were much smaller than him, you're surprised he even felt you. Shaking your head, you stare at the man in fear.

"I really didn't mean to." You said meekly as you try to stop the shaking in your body. The drunk man eyes your bag, which was filled with food, and of course, berries. The man smirks and grips you tighter as he slowly reaches towards your bag.

You heard the punch before you actually saw it, the man falling to the ground with a hard thud, the people around you gasp in fear as they stare at you. You had which was now free was shaking as you back away slowly from the now unconscious man.

"(Y/N)!" You hear Luffy yell, watching as his arm retract back to a normal length. He runs up to you, eyes wide as he looks all over you for any injuries. Luffy was panting, panic all over his face and unaware of the fearful people around him. When his eyes meet your wrist, a scowl decorates his face, holding onto you gently.

"He hurt you...I'm sorry." He whispers, chest heaving as the man groans, blood dripping down his nose. Luffy give him a blank stare before taking your hand.

"Come on, let's go."

"Zoro, where are you!"

Not too long ago, you helped said child find his mom after he got lost in the forest while playing. You found him while exploring the island, all scared and helpless. What were you supposed to do, not help him?

Well, apparently not, since helping the kid meant abandoning your traveling partner, Zoro. You left him so you could safely get the kid out of the forest, which meant leaving Zoro to get lost.

Now you're forced to look for him afterwards. You knew when you found him, he would be pissed, but you were too tired to think about that in the current moment. You yawn as you yell for Zoro again, looking around for any signs of him.

"Zoro, come on!" You yell, groaning, "I'm tired, I want to go home."

Crack

You turn you head, heart beating out of your chest. You slowly move closer to the sound, carefully peering into the bushes in front of you. Taking a deep breath, you prepare yourself for what might come, annoyance crawling up you as you come face to face with Zoro.

Marching up to him, you cross your arms and snarl, "Jeez Zoro, where have you been, it's dark out." Zoro looks unfazed at your clear irritation, simply staring at you with a raised brow.

"You left me." He said, slightly smirking as you huff.

"Yeah, to help a kid." You waved your arms around for emphasis, "I didn't expect you to get lost for the rest of the day."

Zoro takes his place beside you, looking at you with a sharp stare, "Don't leave again."

Your role your eyes, "It was for a kid."

"Don't care."

Sanji loves cooking for you, always trying new recipes and learning new things just to impress his favorite person. He loved cooking for anyone, but it was different with you.

However, he absolutely hated when you ate something anything else made. He always thought the worst would happen, what happened if it was poisoned, or you were allergic, or rotten?

So, when you were offered a chicken skewer from a food stall, it took everything in him to not slap it out of your hand in disgust. It looked good enough, nothing compared to his cooking, but it looked edible. But nothing could calm the beating of his heart as he watched the food get closer and closer to your mouth.

"(Y/N)! Wait!" He quickly took the skewer from you, watching as you became confused at his action. Sanji laughed nervously, adverting his gaze from your questioning look.

"It's just...you shouldn't take food from random people." He quickly regained his composure, moving to throw the skewer away. "I wouldn't want you to get sick or anything."

You nodded, though it was hard to ignore the loud grumbling of your stomach, "Come on, why don't we go back, and I'll make something for you."

"Checkmate."

"Darn 'it, you beat me again." Robin laughs as you let out a breath of frustration. You've been wasting away time on the ship by playing chess with Robin. While you weren't as good as her, it was fun to play.

"Would you like to play again?" She offers, already reseating the chess bord. You nod, seeing that she's gotten everything ready to play. As Robin readies the next round, you hear someone run up towards your table, seeing both Usopp and Chopper smiling at you.

"(Y/N), we're playing hide and seek with Luffy. You wanna play?" Chopper giggles, jumping up and down in excitement. Before you could get a word out, Robin is speaking for you.

"Sorry, they're already playing with me." Robin says, watching as Chopper's face falls. You give him a sorry look as Robin makes her first move.

"Your turn." You wave bye to the two, turning your head to make your move.

Many minutes past but of course, Robin wins. As you end, Robin asks if you would like to play one more round, but this time you refuse. Her face falls for a second, before quickly becoming a small smile, which was obviously fake shown by her tense demeanor.

"Alright." She says as she slowly picks up the pieces, "Luffy's been pretty bored lately, you should go check up on him." She mentions off handedly. At the mention of Luffy's name, you tense up, looking around nervously.

"Um...actually, why don't we play just one more round." She smiles, raising her eyebrows in mock surprise.

"Oh, change of heart?" She starts putting the pieces back in place, preparing for the next game.

"(Y/N)?! Oh, (Y/N), you're awake, great." You're awoken to Chopper's worried voice, which is surprisingly soothing. He's hovering over you, looking at you with intense eyes.

"What happened." You had little memory of the previous night.

"You came to me complaining about a cold and then later that night, you fainted." He looked down, ashamed, and you could tell tear were forming in his eyes. "I'm sorry, I should've helped you sooner."

You sit up slowly, removing the cold towel from your forehead. "Don't worry about it, Chopper, at least I'm better now."

Chopper looks up at you, large tears streaming down his face, "You're not mad at me." He whispers desperately. Your nod causes him to jump up onto your bed, hugging you as best as he could.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you so much." He snuggles into you as pet his head. Suddenly, he shoots up, jumping down from the bed and rushing towards his cabinet filled to the brim with medicine.

"Oh, I almost forgot, you need to take this." He hands you a small vile filled with some green liquid. It looks thick, and definitely not like something you want to consume. "It doesn't taste good, but it'll help."

You take a deep breath before gulping down the strange concoction. It goes slowly down your throat, causing you to nearly choke. It takes a while before it goes down, the taste remaining stuck in your mouth.

Chopper takes the vile back from you, smile at you like you accomplished something great. "Good, good." He nods to himself before sitting down at a chair near your table.

Your eyes become droopy, and a yawn overwhelms your senses. You just woke up; you shouldn't feel this tired. Chopper urges you to lay back down, moving your blanket up and smoothing it out nicely. Before you know it, you're out like a light.

"Don't worry (Y/N), I'll keep you safe until you better."

Usopp couldn’t say no to you. None of the Strawhats could. But it was much harder for Usopp.

While Usopp would consider himself a master liar, any lie he attempts to weave gets forgotten when it comes to you.

However, desperate times cause for desperate measure.

“The world without us is dangerous.” Usopp words are quick, a mixture of nervousness and urgency in his voice. Whenever you even mention the idea leaving Usopp is quick to get the thought out of your mind.

“It’s filled with monsters and villains beyond your wildest dreams.” He raises his voice for dramatic effect, ashamed of the please feeling he gets at your obvious fear.

What Usopp is saying isn’t entirely a lie. The world is dangerous, and you most likely wouldn’t survive a day without them. However, the world is also filled with great people who wouldn’t waste a second helping you if needed.

You sigh, looking down at the water below you, “I know Usopp, it’s just I don’t want to weigh you guys down.”

Usopp gasps, eyes widened in shock. He shakes his head, giving you a comforting pat on the back. “Don’t worry (Y/N), you’ll never weight us down.” He gives you a happy smile, “We’ll always protect you, no matter what.”

Usopp knew that wasn’t a lie.

Nami is who you usually spent your night with, reading and relaxing before bed was something you loved.

However, some nights you’d talk, and talk, and talk. The conversations ranged from boring and monotonous topics to something’s more deep.

“I hope we can have many adventures together Nami.” You say quietly, not really talking to her but to the world around you. You look longingly at the sky, the stars shining beautifully up above. “I want to travel the entire sea with you guys.”

There shouldn’t be a pit forming in Nami’s stomach, she should be happy you want to spend time with them, especially compared to how you used to act. But she didn’t like your distant look and your hollow smile. There was no passion behind your words, only a fading and distant hope.

A hope for something long gone, true unhindered freedom. The freedom to go where you want, meet you you want, be who you want. The Strawhats were keeping you from that, and Nami knew it.

She wanted to feel bad, but she couldn’t, and a dark part of it said it was because of love. She and her crew mates love you and want to see you happy and healthy. You can’t be that without them, without their protection.

A similar hollow smile graces Nani’s face as she looks up at the sky. Her eyes close as she silently wishes for you to one day understand why they do what they do, and for you to not hate them.

“I do too, (Y/N).”
