Headcanon 6

Percy Weasley got his first tattoo at the age of 16 at a Muggle tattoo parlor.

After that first tattoo, when he came of age, he got 3 more.

No one found out until after the war where all the brothers were at the Burrow and he was getting out of the shower and George came in and saw his tattoos.

And you know that George can’t keeps a secret.

I'm years late to the Harry Potter field, and I've been reading a lot of stories that feature Percy Weasley. His character is interesting and I think he deserves a little more recognition and credit. He tries to be a good brother to his siblings even though they prefer to not be around him. I have little knowledge over the whole stretch of hp.

Percy Weasley headcanons for his birthday!!

He always looked up to Bill and Charlie

And he loves being an older brother (more than Bill and Charlie ever do)

When he was younger he was a bit of a trouble maker, joining in on Fred and George’s pranks more often than not

But going to Hogwarts changed him in many ways

It was the first time he really met kids the same age as him and he wanted to be better

His two best friends are Oliver Wood and Romulus Howell

They often bicker and fight like brothers, and often joke that Percy has too many, Romulus has one, and Oliver has none

Percy is the youngest of the three of them, but he’s the mother hen

He was very excited for Ron and Ginny to join him and the twins at Hogwarts

Percy and Ron are never really close, they never really grow close as they age, but there was always a mutual respect between each other

Percy and Ginny adore one another, the August Siblings

Percy slowly grew to resent Bill as he got older, mostly as they were constantly being compared to one another

Percy wanted to be better, not Bill

Bill never forgave Percy for his actions during the war, even when it was revealed that Percy was a spy for Dumbledore

After the war, Percy really quit the Ministry and moved back into the Burrow

He needed to be close to his family again

He reopened WWW after it became clear that George was struggling to leave the Burrow

George eventually joined him again, and he made Percy his new partner, and together they thrive

He stands in as George’s Best Man when George and Angelina get married

He also gives the best speech at Ron and Hermione’s wedding

He meets Audrey through a meeting with Kingsley and falls head over heels in love with her

They elope a little after a year of dating, nine months after they moved in together

Ginny is only a little upset that she’s the last to get married, having been the first to get engaged after the war

Molly and Lucy are born a few years later, and Percy and Audrey couldn’t be happier!

Percy Weasley self-harmed during his final years at Hogwarts and relapsed for a few months after the battle, with the memory of Fred dying in front of him and the guilt of not being able to save him and feeling that he had killed him.

William: Bill

He was shocked you even took his advice, but happy regardless. He was still trying to convince his family to get protection ruins tattooed on. They genuinely work. He’s alive after all, is he not? He’s so happy you got it. He is able to sleep FAR more soundly now, knowing you’ll be safer. He also, now, had more ammunition to convince the rest of his family to get one as well. There was also the fact it warms his heart to you it was him that inspired you to get it. That what he said really did matter, to you. You listened, and that meant the world to him. That alone was what made him feel flushed. Ah, his Habibi.

Charlie

He was waiting for the day. He’s drenched in his own. Often teasing that anyone who gets to close to him leave with one, like some kind of pox’s. Yeah, Molly never found it funny. But it seemed you did, since you got your own dragon around your arm. He can’t deny it. He’s a sucker for matching tattoos. There is something so beautiful about it, after all. So, it tugs on his heart strings. Knowing that the two of you matched. That a part of him was with you, constantly. But you never heard that from anyone. Shhhhh

Percy

He shocked, and rather curious. Now why would you go and do such a thing like that? He always found them rather unprofessional looking. Often sighting his own siblings as such examples. Like he was somehow better than them, because he had none. Yeah. You are totally cooler than a Curse Breaker, or Dragonologist, buddy. Keep dreaming. However, knowing why you got it has changed his views. Just a little. To see that you had a simple word on your wrist. His name. Simple, modest, sweet, and to the point. He still hated tattoos, but maybe he just hated them on certain people.

Fred

Loves it. He’s over the moon. He found it so sweet, and teases you about it constantly. How you are his, by law. Of course that’s not true, but you kinda knew what you signed up for. That ever teasing nightmare, the second that purple ink touched your skin. But, you got your revenge. Once you saw something familiar zipping across his arm one day. Oh the war you two had from it all.

George

He’s flustered, and flattered. He found it so sweet, and pretty adorable. That he had you inspired so much. He loves touching it, whenever you two are together. Tracing his fingers over the orange skin. He just found it so sweet. He had to return the favor, and now you two match. As him a blushing fool whenever you kiss his. Expect yours to be smooched in return. He just couldn’t get enough of it. He felt so special, and kinda different. He had something Fred didn’t, and now it was a nice reminder that they weren’t as identical as the world said. He had you.

Ron

He was wondering why you were so giggly, for a while. It all made sense, when he saw it. You were waiting for him to finally notice that damn flying car. It was one time-! Course now it’s the damn guardian of the woods, and makes sure kids get returned home safely. That was kinda nice. Deep down, he does like it. Loves that you loved his story so much, you wanted to remember it forever. Made him feel special. He deserves it, and you made sure that Ron knew he was special. Just like everyone else.

Ginny

Honestly, she kinda beat you to the punch. You both couldn’t stop laughing, when you saw each other’s tattoos. Seeing that quidditch broom flying was making her laugh that Weasley laugh. There was a reason you two dated, after all. Didn’t even have to say a word, and you two found a way to have matching ink. Didn’t even try, and it had you both in stitches. The hugs didn’t stop, as you two admire your brand new works of art.

honestly, i think every Weasley are protective of Percy because he may be a pompous nerd, but he is their pompous nerd and no one messes with them. :))

so what happens when some poor soul decides to date their nerdy cinnamon roll? they will come with the threats if Percy is treated wrong

Bill: uses his "eldest big brother" card to threat them. remember, he's a fucking Cursebreaker and knows some nifty Egyptian curses. Charlie: shows off his buff muscles and threats to feed them to his dragons. he tames fucking dragons for a living!

Fred & George: yeah, they tease Percy a lot. but he's their favorite brother and they will threat with their prank products. the untested ones, if you may.

Ron: hurt Percy? you don't even get a second of warning before he pounces on the culprit and beat the shit of them or sicc his excellent girlfriend Hermione on them.

Ginny: she's a spitfire and Percy took care of her growing up when their parents had their hands full. she will threat DEATH upon anyone who hurts Percy.

Molly: oh please, she's the Mama Bear™. the second locks eyes with someone wronging her sweet, responsible and proper baby son, it's too late. you better pray it's over quickly.

Arthur: no one believes it until they see it. he's the most protective of Percy. it's his son who looks like him and wants to be just like him, working at the ministry and all that jazz! he's all smiles, but you can just feel the fury of death radiating him. it's always the calm one you gotta watch out for!

conclusion? the Weasleys loves Percy, even if they tease and prank him a lot. they have one rule about dating him: treat Percy well and you may live. if you don't, you're dead meat.
