Season 5 and season 6 spoilers of Young Sheldon!!!
Honestly I wouldn't mind having Georgie Cooper as my baby daddy. Yeah he f***ed up and made a huge mistake, but he is working on better himself. Like trading in his mustang for a baby safe car, work more, going grocery shopping for his baby mama, letting her stay with him when she needed help with rent, breaking into her apartment to get her stuff back when she was kicked out, he is worried about being a bad dad. That's all I have, I have only seen a few episodes of season 6 and it just came out on Netflix today. But as I said, Georgie Cooper = going to be an amazing dad
Also HATE YOU PASTOR JEFF

Pastor Jeff x Reader HCs (Crackfic??)
General Themes: Religion, Aftercare/Implied Sex, Cuddling, Kissing, Angst
Authors Note: Obession 1# in young sheldon, not kidding, maybe dr linkletter or hagenmeyer but he is number 1# (though connie is a good runner up)
Fluff
Anyways hes a religious man, he is a pastor so expect him not to be home in the afternoon unless you work with him, he is also goes on church retreats often so expect alot of alone time, though that doesnt stop any affections from him, he always calls you to make sure you are safe and okay because he loves you more than Jesus himself
But when he has his day off? Expect sex, he is a pastor but when he wants it, he wants it, also very gentle mind you, also he is very clingy afterwards, loves you and your body is just a plus to him, anyways he gives the best aftercare, sometimes he doesnt even take care of himself, he wants you to be comfortable, though when you dont want to, hes chill with it but makes up with it by being overly affectionate
Speaking of he loves kissing you anywhere when you want, how you want and where you want, he is also very big on consent, if you dont like touching, the most he will do without asking is a hug or a chaste kiss on your cheek really, but when you allow him to kiss you passionately, he will pin you to the nearest wall and hold your neck, that is if you are married, if not dont expect it much outside when he asks or when you are engaged
Cuddling this man feels like hugging a warm and soft stick/twig, i imagine him to be thin and slim but also tall and has long limbs, especially his arms, he could wrap his arms around you twice around your waist if you are small enough, speaking of which he finds it cute youre shorter if you are, he loves picking you up when you allow him to
Also loyal as can be, wont even look at a woman unless its for work or something important ot just yknow being the pastor, he will die by you or die before he even thinks of cheating, if you break his heart, its fine, as long you are happy and live peacefully
Semi-angst
If you ever cheat on him, he wouldnt do anything, he would just let it happen and wont bat an eye, but the bottle isnt large enough to hold his feelings, eventually he will explode at you and it will always end with you breaking up or divorcing and you moving out, and him drinking his heart out until he passes out and forgets the night, it haunts him forever and will probably stay single until he dies
He wouldnt complain if you did something to him, just as long you didnt bottle it up, he will take it to his grave, even if it hurt him, he will suck it up, he loves you too much to let go of the fleeting feelings of love in general, hurt him as much as you please, he wouldnt say a thing
Hes insecure of himself all around, low self esteem and all, he knows he shouldnt envy others for having your attention, but he just have a gut feeling he csnt get rid of that you will leave him some day and leave him all alone by himself, thats also a reason for him being a bit of a pushover and letting things happen, hes a pastor, alot of things get past him, no matter hoe much it hurts him to see it happen
Also a bit toxic and possesive, he loves you and wants you to be happy but he cant bear to see you with another person, because hes not the type to care for himself and cares about others...unless they flirt with you in that case they are never ever going to enter or step foot in his church ever, a yandere of sorts i guess?

Because my cringe knows no bounds and I have multiple brain rotting fixations, here we go with another crossover au. I have no self control on these aus.
Persona 5 but the cast is made up of funky podcast people.
This crossover au also gives the added bonus of being a high school au.
The people I currently have for the thieves are:
Rita [REDACTED] from Penumbra Podcast
Jonathan Sims from The Magnus archives
Juno Steel from Penumbra podcast
Cecil from Welcome to Night Vale
Lup from the Adventure Zone
the Admiral from Magnus Archives
OW from Death by Dying
Daughter Dooley from Old Gods of Appalachia
And
Arthur Lester from Malevolent
Other characters that will show up are:
Pastor Jeff from Death by Dying
Elias Bouchard and Gertrude Robinson from Magnus Archives.
Indrid Cold from The Adventure Zone.
Plus more as the final cast isn't done yet.
I am still debating how much of their stuff from their podcasts I can include in this au and how much I can explain away as Persona stuff or just the setting being weird.
The setting will most likely be New York City as it checks off the requirements of big, strange enough that a weird cast would fit right in and has a subway system.
@screamingmadvoid and I made this au in @deathbydyingpod 's own discord server just to make it better.

PCC is a abusive authoritarian cult, where they selectively decide who can stay or who gets kicked out. I got banned from attending Campus Church at PCC in 2022, because I kindly told Pastor Jeff Redlin humbly that I hoped to find a wife. He scolded me for saying that, because my former wife abandoned and divorced me in 2006. Jeff has a wife, but I am supposed to satisfy myself with a pillow and napkins the rest of my life according to Pastor Redlin. These nutcases at PCC are out of touch with reality. They are hateful bigots who live in their own little self-praising, weirdo cult.

Badly summarizing Hazbin Hotel songs: season 1
Happy Day In Hell:
Local nepo baby is very optimistic for someone who was born and raised in hell but damn it if you don’t find it a little endearing.
Hell Is Forever:
Your gut feeling about the pastor’s son was correct and he is indeed an annoying prick who likes to act God’s always got his back.
Stayed Gone:
Demon Jeff Bezos finds out his Ex is in town, isn’t happy about it and tries to slander the man only for his ex to immediately clap back and serve everyone some piping hot tea.
It Starts With Sorry:
Some of ya’ll are way too forgiving and it really shows…you’re lucky you dorks are adorable.
Respectless:
A 4’11 Millennial bitch serves absolute ✨CUNT✨ at a meeting she didn’t want to attend, local MILF is not amused.
Whatever It Takes:
A MILF and a lesbian sing about how they’d willingly die for the ones they love. It’s sweet but deeply concerning.
Poison:
Local twink took “conceal, don’t feel” way too seriously and now you’ll never be ok again. Have fun in therapy.
Loser Baby:
A DILF and a twink sing about how they’re the biggest losers in hell and it’s the sweetest fucking thing you’ll ever see in your god damn life.
Hell’s Greatest Dad:
2 grown ass men fight for custody over a grown ass woman.
More Than Anything:
The literal king of hell loves his child more than your father will ever love you and you just gotta live with that.
Welcome To Heaven:
The polite Christians are trying to convert you, but they’re really good at show tunes so I ain’t even mad.
You Didn’t Know:
Vindication for everyone who’s the black sheep of their family and now have religious trauma.
Out For Love:
Local MILF hypes up her newly adopted lesbian daughter by telling her love is the ultimate murder weapon.
Ready For This:
Local nepo baby discovers that the fastest way to get cannibals to fight for you is through show tunes and the promise of flesh.
More Than Anything (Reprise):
No, the two leading females are not “just really close friends.” You were told well before this moment.
Finale:
While the main cast is having a Bob the builder moment, 3 local bastards are promising to fuck shit up next season and the person you least expected is having a mental breakdown in the break room.

We are living in a moment of serious gender revanchism in the United States. Feminists who self-define as “gender critical” and are otherwise openly transphobic will object to the comparison, but it is striking how much the movement to criminalize gender-affirming care for young people shares with the movement to criminalize abortion. Both find their fiercest champions in white, religious, conservative men who dismiss the evidence put forward by medical professionals that the treatment in question saves lives. Both claim to speak on behalf of silenced “children,” be they conveniently unborn or too young to be taken at their word. Both struggled to find widespread support until a father took his crusade on the road: abortion was not “an Evangelical issue” before Dr. Francis Schaeffer, a charismatic pastor, promoted his son Frank’s 1979 anti-abortion film Whatever Happened to the Human Race?; and anti-trans legislation was initially “hard to sell,” according to the Texas Tribune, until a North Texas dad named Jeff Younger built a sympathetic following online by accusing his ex-wife, a pediatrician, of wanting to “chemically castrate” their trans daughter. Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s order that citizens report parents of transgender kids to the authorities so that they can be investigated for child abuse echoes the section in SB 8 that rewards vigilante citizens for reporting abortion providers to authorities. Both movements have become central to the Republican Party’s strategy to raise funds and win elections. Not least, both movements have forced pregnant and trans people to prove, in preordained terms, their absolute certainty that they need the treatment they say they do. As the opposition puts up resistance in the form of misinformation, mandatory waiting periods, sonograms, and extensive psychological testing, patients lose precious time as hormonal processes they hope to forestall come closer and closer to transforming their bodies.
The experience of gender dysphoria is not identical to the experience of forced pregnancy, but it should not have to be for us to defend one another’s right to bodily autonomy as if it were our own. To respond to the heartbreak of losing Roe by further scapegoating trans people, as some cisgender feminists have done, is not only an unnecessary cruelty but a logical and political error that none of us can afford to make. There is no evidence to support the claim that inclusive language in reproductive health spaces “erases” or “harms” cis women, as Pamela Paul recently argued in the New York Times. (If anything, terms like pregnant people are more precise, as not all women are capable of pregnancy and not all pregnant people — e.g., cisgender girls under 18 — are women.) To say so anyway, with no basis in fact, is to do the far right’s work for them.

How tall exactly is everyone? I know that You are 5'10, Jeff is 6'2, ect ect, according to Mun's toyhou.se, but do you mind listing the other pastor's heights? (Specifically, I'd like to know how tall Clocky is in this AU lol)

Pure Imagination: wearing his band's t-shirt
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Reader
Jeff holds the very first Corroded Cofin’s merch with his arms extended. Eddie is just as proud as him, if not more. The band has been working on the design for at least a couple of years. It started as doodles on the back of Garreth’s notebook, at lunch, when all of them were still in high school.
Admittedly, Eddie wasn’t paying full attention to what was going on. But who could blame him? That day- a grey Wednesday- you were wearing short rain boots that made your legs look so… out of reach. And your hair! Over the months, Eddie had arrived to the conclusion that you liked rain more than normal people did. He’d caught you walking way too slowly on your way through the parking lot more times than you’d probably like to know. Sometimes you did it even if you didn’t need to. He was sure this was the case. Your hair was wet, tiny drops shining under the yellow lights of the cafeteria. Diamonds would have looked amazing on you. But he’d never touched a real diamond, much less did he have the money to buy you some. What a shame. A terrible loss for the mineral kingdom, truly.
That day, Dustin’s hand gripping his shoulder forced his attention back to his own table, where Jeff and Gareth were having a heated debate about whether the use of green was appropriate for a corroded coffin or not.
Now, a graduation and a rainbow of deterioration colors later, they are in presence of the first Corroded Coffin t-shirt ever. Ever.
And all Eddie can think about is how it would look on you.
Maybe they can make one in your size. Black suits you. Everything suits you, if he's honest. But the hypothetical way you’d look after one of their presentations concerts, wearing their name- flushed cheeks, hair up to fight the heat moistening your neck with perspiration- has a special place in his belly. He remembers he’s made a pendant out of one of his guitar picks. It would fit perfectly with the other charms on your bracelet. It doesn’t have diamonds, but it’s worth just the same to him.
As he smiles and admires the t-shirt- a milestone in their musical career- Eddie lets the vision take over his reality. In his head, you want to wear it- you like love his music, so much that you’re always in the front row, yelling the lyrics he wrote about you. You smile at him- not just in his direction. When he gets down of the stage, it is to find you. You run up to him, and he catches you. Your legs go around Eddie’s waist, your arms behind his neck: your whole body hugging his. He gets to have your eyes on him. You hold Eddie's guitar for him- he trusts you. Maybe you even pretend to play it and he becomes a puddle of a man.
But then Jeff folds the t-shirt and he realizes not only that he’s not at the Hideout, but also that you’re not wearing his name on your clothes.
Someday, he promises himself. Someday… the voice in his head sounds like the pastor that preaches on the radio: Heaven is waiting for us devotees.

Hope you liked it <3

Notes :
all links lead to the goodreads page of the book, mostly because i like to look at book cover art ;
list features authors/books that i love (T. Kingfisher, Silvia Moreno-Garcia, Ursula K. Le Guin, the collections from the British Library Tales of the Weird, etc.), but also a few that i don't like and some that i have not yet read ;
if upon seeing that list the first novel you check out is by Stephen King's you have not understood the assignment ;
not all of those are strictly horror stories, some are 100% science fiction (Brian W. Aldiss' Hothouse for instance).

From The Beatles site X
Culver City, CA (February 20th, 2024) -- Today, Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE), Sam Mendes, and Neal Street Productions announced a groundbreaking creative endeavor to tell the story of The Beatles with four distinct theatrical feature films. The project marks the first time Apple Corps Ltd. and The Beatles – Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the families of John Lennon and George Harrison – have granted full life story and music rights for a scripted film.
As conceived by Mendes, who will direct, the four theatrical feature films – one from each band member’s point-of-view – will intersect to tell the astonishing story of the greatest band in history.
Image
Tumblr media
SPE will finance and distribute worldwide with full theatrical windows in 2027. The dating cadence of the films, the details of which will be shared closer to release, will be innovative and groundbreaking.
Mendes will direct all four films and produce alongside his Neal Street Productions partner Pippa Harris and Neal Street’s Julie Pastor. Jeff Jones will executive produce for Apple Corps Ltd.
“I’m honoured to be telling the story of the greatest rock band of all time, and excited to challenge the notion of what constitutes a trip to the movies,” said Sam Mendes.
“We intend this to be a uniquely thrilling, and epic cinematic experience: four films, told from four different perspectives which tell a single story about the most celebrated band of all time,” said Pippa Harris. “To have The Beatles’ and Apple Corps’ blessing to do this is an immense privilege. From our first meeting with Tom Rothman and Elizabeth Gabler, it was clear that they shared both our passion and ambition for this project, and we can’t think of a more perfect home than Sony Pictures.”
“Apple Corps is delighted to collaborate with Sam, Pippa and Julie to explore each Beatle’s unique story and to bring them together in a suitably captivating and innovative way,” said Apple Corps Ltd. CEO Jeff Jones. “Sony Pictures’ enthusiastic support, championing the project’s scope and creative vision from the start, has been invaluable for all of us.”
“I know I speak for our CEO Tony Vinciquerra, who was instrumental in making this happen, and every Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group colleague around the world when I say: ‘yeah, yeah, yeah!’” said Tom Rothman, Chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures’ Motion Picture Group. “Theatrical movie events today must be culturally seismic. Sam’s daring, large-scale idea is that and then some. Pairing his premiere filmmaking team, with the music and the stories of four young men who changed the world, will rock audiences all over the globe. We are deeply grateful to all parties and look forward ourselves to breaking some rules with Sam’s uniquely artistic vision.”
