"How do I know that this isn't a trick and that you're not going to just stab me in the back when I'm not looking? This seems too good to be true-" Aether asked, his skeptism apparent and well founded. Then he shook his head and turned, starting to float away.

"I guess you're going to miss the Trinket Raid-" Ambiramus remarked, a sly smirk coming onto her face.

Now Aether looked back, "The what?"

"I said; 'I guess you're going to miss the Trinket Raid.'" The Historian said, still smirking as she watched Aether turn around and come back.

"Trinket Raid?" He asked, "You're talking about random items, right? Shiny bits and baubs that no one will really miss unless they're looking for it-"

"Yeah-" Ambiramus confirmed with a nod.

"And you're talking about going into people's lairs and homes to go raiding through their stuff for trinkets?" Aether asked as he came closer, his interest piqued.

Now, there was a grin from Ambiramus, "Oh yeah-"

Finally kinda getting into a groove with these. I'll be referencing some headcanons that Ecto and I both share along with agit spoilers. I'll be sure to tag any days with spoilers as a precaution.

Honestly? I don't think they'd be able to pull it off. I feel a large group of rowdy boys trying to act like they're not super nervous about stealing panties from girls they don't even know would not be stealthy enough to get away with it. They'd be shoving each other and forgetting to whisper and they'd get caught right as they were pushing off to cross the lake.

i've recently been revisited by a scenario from a conversation my partner and i had re: Kagami and Hiruzen giving Tobirama inappropriate gifts (like i'm sure he'd be suspicious of any random gifts, but if, say, it's an occasion where one might typically be giving gifts to their teacher... (idk what holidays exist in the Narutoverse)), SO i'm going to post it here whilst it's still bouncing around inside my skull:

(Tobirama opens Kagami's gift — it's some very tiny, very lacy, very slutty underwear.)

Tobirama: "These are ridiculous."

Kagami: "Come on, Sensei, they're your color!"

(Tobirama opens Hiruzen's gift — also underwear, but just regular ones this time.)

Tobirama: *exasperated* "Well, at least these are more sensible."

Hiruzen: *breathlessly* "Thanks."

Hiruzen: "They're mine."

(Tobirama drops them and leaves, with neither a word nor a facial expression.)

In the future, any gifts he DOES accept are not opened publicly.
