no you see bc what kills me is the fact that the loney mountain has come to be of significance to bilbo, as well. to thorin and the dwarves it has always persisted in being their homeland (even in face of its desolation, even in their long exile), but to bilbo, it is what it's become in time. frodo, in actions as well as bilbo's words, has always been believably and irrevocably in love with the shire—but his uncle could never rest until he caught sight of that mountain again (even if that did not come to pass.) this is all so jumbled im so tired but i cannot recover from the knowledge that biblo kinned dwarves so hard (and loved them, mainly, is what i mean—bilbo loved all of them) he became homesick for a place that has never been his
