Insomnia for two or one?

Notes: Kalim x reader, Jamil x reader, pure fluff, romantic relationship for both

Since your dorm, Octvinelle, had a recent flooding you were forced to be moved somewhere else for the time being. Azul made arrangements with Kalim for the Octvinelle dorm students to sleep there for the time being.

Kalim Al Asim ver. 

Kalim was more than willing to share his room, but after hearing about your insomnia he made special preparations. A hot cup of sleeping tea, soft pillows, and anything else he believed you needed to sleep well. However, your insomnia wasn’t that simple, as the reason behind your insomnia rooted somewhere else. See, you had grown paranoid at night feeling that it was a waste of time to sleep. Of course, you didn’t feel that way anymore, but you found it hard to sleep.

Once he heard your reason Kalim thought hard about what he could do for you. Yet, you told him not to worry about it as you had become used to no sleep. As the night passed you expected Kalim to fall asleep beside you, but he stayed awake at your side. The whole night was full of conversations between the two of you. Kalim didn’t want you to pass the night alone, so he chose to stay up all night long alongside you. This actually created a lot more comfort than you thought.

It wasn’t until deep into the night that you felt your eyes finally start to feel heavy. Excited from the unusual drowsiness you fell into a light slumber as the night would soon turn into day. Although it took a long time till you both came under the spell of sleep, waking up was no problem. This was due to the case of Jamil waking the two of you up in a hurry for he was scared of being late to class.

Jamil Viper.

Jamil only came to know about your insomnia after the two of you fell into bed. You had hoped the comfort of staying close to him would be enough to pass the night. Contrary to your thoughts Jamil turned to ask you what was bothering you so much you couldn’t sleep. Turing to face Jamil you heaved a sigh and explained to him about your insomnia.

With a look of drowsiness, he climbed out of bed, taking your hand he led you to the kitchen. There, Jamil continued on to make a cup of herbal sleep tea for you to drink. Taking hold of the warm cup you poured the herbal tea down your throat in hopes to quickly fall asleep. As expected, you failed to feel the drowsiness as you shook your head towards Jamil to signal its failure.

Taking your hand once more, Jamil led you to Azul’s room, which was shocking. Tapping on the door the two of you waited for a response, until Azul poked his head out. Looking at the two of you he asked for the reasoning behind the nightly visit. Once he heard about your situation, Azul closed the door for a quick minute then returned with a scallop shaped pillow.

Taking hold of the pillow, the two of you left after Azul’s brief explanation of how wonderful it works. In return for the pillow, Azul instructed you to give up one of your herbal tea plants. This wasn’t much of a problem for you as growing plants was a specialty of yours. Returning back to Jamil’s room, there the pillow was placed down onto the bed. Laying your head onto the back of the pillow you instantly fell asleep and woke up the next day confused as to what happened. However, Jamil told you not to freak out and that the pillow had done its job.

Sure! I already have touched on the Octavinelle boy's hard nos here! But I can definitely give you Idia's.

Idia Shroud - Hard Nos

TW: Very brief and nondescript mention of step sibling roleplays.

CW: Looning mention, roleplay mention, latex/leather mention, non-monogamy.

Idia is another person who doesn't have a lot of hard nos. He has some very out-there kinks, so honestly you would be hard pressed to find something he wouldn't be alright with so long as it was discussed beforehand. Here are the ones that would be nos for him, though.

If you ask him to play step-anything you are getting thrown out of his bedroom and out of his house. It's actually so severe that he would leave a relationship over it. He finds the entire concept gross and he will be kinkshaming, tyvm.

Idia will say no to balloon fetishes. Not because he finds it gross or anything, but because if a balloon pops near him, he will have a panic attack. He hates the sound.

Not exactly a hard no, but you would be pretty hard-pressed to get him to agree to having multiple partners in the bedroom. He doesn't really get the jealous aspect of it nor does he feel possessive over a partner, this is another one where the anxiety aspect of it would get the better of him.

He wouldn't do latex or leather gear (except maybe a collar or gloves or similarly small items) because they make him feel too restricted and could cause a panic attack.

i’d describe my personality as seeming very calm and unbothered. i’m usually very patient and tolerant of other people and don’t take offense easily, and i’m generally very accepting of others. i’m never judgmental about anything and try to be as understanding as i can. that’s how i appear on the outside at least, as there has always been a discrepancy between my real personality and the one i present to others. even if i am easygoing and agreeable on the outside, i can be internally critical. i go to great lengths to hide the side of myself that is more sharp-tongued and immature in fear of others rejecting me, however it does slip up sometimes when im provoked as embarrassing as it is.

i don’t really have many interests, but i really like stargazing at scenic spots, and i just have a bunch of other nerdy hobbies like researching on theories or watching documentaries.

To him, you enrapture the eel through your lock box ways. To others who have had the pleasure of knowing you longer, you’re somehow described to be a joy to be around in your unique way without having any magic. Strangers on the other hand, including enemies, see a rather cutesy act put together. Nothing but a good ole mask for our trouble maker of the Octvinelle Dormitory to rip off. He’s so determined to find out how you really are that he inevitably ends up falling for you instead

Hope you don’t mind getting your boundaries violated every moment. And I really do mean every moment. The eel will literally wake you from climbing into your room from the window, even though you’re on the second level of Ramshackle. Don’t question how he even made it up there, Azul and Jade will come bursting into your room about a couple minutes later apologizing for their ruckus dealer. Seriously, be ready to be flustered quite often when Floyd realizes he wants something more intimate with you. He’s gonna tease the hell out of you first unless you beat him to popping the question first

When you first release the judgmental tongue from its confines, he truly stunned and quite impressed or hurt depending where the hurtful words go towards. If aimed at him, expect to be groveling for his forgiveness or Azul will have to be restrained physically by Jade permanently whenever you’re in the same area since you hurt his friend, his friend’s brother, and his business (expect to serve Azul one way or another). If it’s aimed at somebody else that he doesn’t really care for, he’ll be basically saying you roasted them, which would be putting it too lightly for the talk you made

He won’t be able to sit still unless you’ve got his mind occupied with something equally as entertaining as running around like a lunatic if you try to go anywhere with a scenic view. Just telling him some theory videos and documentaries from both in this world and yours, you could sit together chatting for hours. He really loves both concepts colliding, his world he understands better as he’s always lived in it. On the other hand however, he enjoys hearing about what made your world home to you, seeing you light up about what your everyday life was like makes him feel all bubbly inside. That way, you guys can still have the scenic views but still be actively engaging

You may suck at physical touch for a love language, but not for long. My eel Floyd is the king of invading your personal space. You’re going to wake up screaming some days because you are just not prepared to look into mismatched owlish eyes with a toothy grin paired with it. He does not care unless you directly state it as a boundary or you’ve managed to upset him, he’s gonna try and cling into you any opportunity he gets. Better yet, he doesn’t really sugarcoat anything and says it outright. Not often does he try to build up any romantic tensions, he’ll just tell you “I love you,” just out of the blue just because that’s how he feels and he never wants you to second guess his emotions

To others, it may seem like the aloof and the serious got together, which would be mind boggling if it were true. In reality, it’s as if you’re both navigating how to properly express your emotions again for the first time, trust me it’s painful for everybody watching you two. Did I not mention how Azul will probably need to be physically restrained by Jade every time you guys get so uncomfortable but pair of you just completely miss it entirely? Yeah, it’s that kind of a budding relationship, but would you have it any other way?

Crewel, aside the constant dehumanising of calling and treating his students as dogs (I've fought teachers for less lmao) has openly admitted to giving Epel an impossible task with the express purpose of humilliating him. He did not expect Epel to succeed. That's not a good teacher my dude.

Random Twisted Wonderland Thoughts I Have on a daily basis: Part 2

Everyone seems to like the last post with a similar title so have arranged a part 2! Without further adu, here we go!!!!

The game has shown us a constant rivalry between Diasomia and Savannahclaw, but if the beastmen ever sided with Scarabia then what dorm would back up Diasomia?

Time for contests of strength and endurance!!!

First up: Riddle Rosehearts /vs\Caffeine ☕ (Espresso shots)

Round Two: Ortho Shroud /vs\ a rigged claw machine

Round three: Leona /vs\ this Cucumber 🥒

Round four: Malleus /vs\ Ice cream cake

I'll let you guess who wins

There are at least one of three things that Ignihyde could have in the next chapter. Like a special area of their dorm that makes them unique. They are: A testing chamber (Like the ones in the Portal games), a Data Archive/ Library (For storing the dorms data) and/or a Magic Wheel Race track (This is a callback to the Ancient Greeks who had Chariot Racing as an Olympic sport.)

Also if the dorm does has a Testing chamber, then I can totally imagine the dorms students keeping track of who bullied them in the past, finding them, kidnapping them, then making them run as test subjects for their experiments as pay back😼

How many jobs has Ruggie taken?

The Headless horseman costume could not just be a callback to the original mini film made by Disney, but it could also be a callback to Cinderella's pumpkin carriage...I think.

Does Heartslybule paint the roses with the blood of their enemies? Or did the Card soldiers paint the roses with the blood of the executed cards?

Come to think of it...we have never seen any form of decapitation happen on screen in Alice and Wonderland...Hmm...🤔

Since Epel looks up to the strong, Vargas would try to teach him ✨ the Way of Manliness™✨

Also, Vargas's diet consists 75 percent of eggs. You cannot change my mind.

Apparently, being a prestigious academy grants you access to some rare magical items..or it's probably just the higher class students that smuggle them in. (Cough! Kalim and Malleus, cough!)

Then again, the staff has a few expensive items as well...so

Sam's friends on the Other Side are the ghosts at the school...maybe...

I like to imagine that one of Ortho's pastimes is him binge watching students fail through the stolen footage on the security cameras.

Cue Azul who buys the extra footage of rule breakers breaking rules and then proceeding to blackmail them

Grimm, Idia, and Ortho(Human version) have three things in common: Blue flaming hair/fur, pointy teeth (like I said Human Ortho), and a smart @$$ personality. Given my current theory that the first two traits are results of the Shroud family curse, then did Grim used to be their house cat? Does the curse affect pets too? Maybe the curse turned Grim into a monster. He has stated that he isn't a racoon, or a cat, or a familiar. But he never said what he used to be, so maybe that's due to memory loss?... I'm probably looking into it too much.

I still don't get why Jade is afraid of hights

During chapter 7, the strong professional sounding imagine of Diasomia is gonna come crumbling down with the family soap operas and the Dormitory shenanigans

".. And who's the headmaster of this fate-foresaken school?" "Dire Crowley." "DIRE CROWLEY? More like a Dire Need for a therapist!"

Bonus round!!! Neige La Blanche ( a movie star and an actor who's played the roles of countless heros and protagonists) /vs\ Idia's Overblot form. BOSS BATTLE STYLE!!

I don't know what the next Overblot form looks like, but I'm betting all my money that Idia and/or Ortho are gonna be wearing silver laurel wreaths dripping with ink.

I've been following your profile for a few weeks now and I have to admit, I am in love with her works and the creativity present in each of them, especially self aware au. I wanted to order a headcanons of this au with Azul, Leona and Sebek. After the reader enters their world, his first reaction when he sees the boys is to hug them and tell them how amazing they are.

This reassures him also a bit that he might not be unimportant, not just a replacement for his brother should the kingdom need a new ruler for whatever reason
