any birthday that has two or more characters sharing it , they'll all be one with a keep reading so the post isn't too long to scroll

Shen's Birthday Card

Part 1

NRC Newspaper Interview: Shen Yenzo

Nezumi: Happy Birthday Shen!

Shen: heh, thanks Nezu.

Nezumi: it's Benji and Eddie's birthdays too right?

Shen: Well we wouldn't be triplets if we weren't ksheshee~

Nezumi: ah , good point... but I'm sure you're excited to celebrate with them?

Shen: of course, brothers are for life and they're my life. Anything is special with them and nothing will change that

Nezumi: That's really nice to here.

Nezumi: alright , I'll start he questions for your interview!

Shen: Not really up for this but I'll just deal with it for now

Nezumi: not a fan of interviews?

Shen: Nothing too much , it just feels.. weird. it's mainly due to past things but like I said I'll deal with it.

Nezumi: Alright, I won't press on

Nezumi: how do you feel on being congratulating?

Shen: it feels nice, it makes me feel like people care

Nezumi: You don't see mistreated ?

Shen: oh trust me. Savanclaw isn't the most friendly place besides I also mean outside of them as well...mainly home.

Nezumi: ah- I'm sorry if I'm touching touchy topic..

Shen: no! It's not your fault, it's a force of habit. If i think of anything that reminds me of anything of the past, I just daze off a little so don't worry about it at all no matter how I react

Nezumi: Alright, very well

Nezumi: well.. speaking of home, what is it usually like having your birthday at home

Shen: Well, at first we never did anything , Mom tried to get us good food for our birthday especially when we didn't have much back then.

Nezumi: oh.. did it get better?

Shen: oh of course, When she was able to open a restaurant, she was able to get more money, we got gifts and proper parties.

Shen: We don't deserve our mom...she does everything for us

Nezumi: It's so sweet that your mom is so dear to you, what of your father

Shen: .....next question.

Nezumi: A-Ah! Um is there anything you wish to do for your birthday today..?

Shen: After the Party settles, and spend a bit of time with Eddie and Benji. I just wish to practice my dancing and relax while doing so

Nezumi: huh you admit doi-

Shen: you better not post the dancing part, you're lucky I even mention it.

Nezumi: ah,, it was too good to be true

Part 2

Nezumi: Alright next Question , What is your favorite Food?

Shen: Just simple Chicken with steamed vegetables with Mashed Potatoes or with Rice instead

Nezumi: hm interesting, Is there a reason ? Like being a good combination?

Shen: actually , The first proper meal I had. When Mom was able to get food, She wasn't sure what to make so she just went with her gut and just made that

Nezumi: Well, then what about Least favorite?

Shen: Meat with No seasoning at all.

Nezumi: oh?

Shen: Look , I was so used to not eating much to a point where ANYTHING taste good but man , Even if we were dirt poor , we were able to season the meat a little..

Nezumi: I've seen your brothers eat meats without seasoning

Shen: Just because we're triplets doesn't mean i'm exactly like them.

Nezumi: hm ok but now , A topic I wish to touch on even just a little-

Shen: My dancing , Right?

Nezumi: sorry.

Shen: -sigh- Fine, I'll talk a little bit but don't think this means I'll be open like a helpless lion cub.

Nezumi: ok ok! What can you tell me of your skill in dancing?

Shen: In my village , Dancing is important. We do performances , rituals , etc. How it's viewed is dependant on the person

Nezumi: how do you view it as then?

Shen: hmm...

Shen: well..probably as a way to wish

Nezumi: oh? Do explain?

Shen: this was a weird idea i had as a kid and it still sticks with me, it was " If i danced well maybe the gods will acknowledge me and bless my family to have better lives "

Nezumi: aww, I don't think that's weird

Shen: well, At the time it was..My situation was not the best so I somewhat didn't try at first until I did.

Shen: yet..When i actually tried , it was the same time Mom got the ok to open a restaurant with help and my dad finally goin- ...

Shen: sorry I went on a tangent.

Nezumi: It's fine you don't have to apologize.

Part 3

Nezumi: Alright , We're at the home stretch

Shen: Alright , I'm glad, i'm kinda getting tired.

Nezumi; Then I'll try to wrap it up.

Nezumi: What is your favorite Birthday Holiday?

Shen: well. When Mom took us to a Spring Closer to the Afterglow Kingdom, She saved up for a while so we were able to do a lot there. It even has a nearby hotel

Nezumi: ohh, was it fun?

Shen: of course it was, This was actually a year before Night Raven so I wasn't that young but I still had a blast especially in the nice cool water

Nezumi: just you talking about it makes me wanna go for a swim too

Shen: yeah, I would recommend it if you go to Afterglow Savanna

Shen: Though i heard it's a little more expensive now. Guess we were lucky when we went, who knows if we'd even go.

Nezumi: Now the last question. What do you look forward to the most today?

Shen: nothing really. -mumbles- Though Leona said he'd like to give me a gift privately..so i guess that's something to look forward to.. -blush-

Nezumi: hm? what was that?

Shen: ! E-eh- What I said was I can't wait what kind of special gift Eddie and Benji give!

Nezumi: oh ? what makes it special

Shen: Well, It's kind of a joke gift. We just listen to what the other complaints about and we make a joke out of it in a gift.

Shen: For example, Benji has recently been ranting about bugs flying in his soup , so i Bought Slime that had toy bugs in it. Trust me though, sometimes we can get reaal creative with these~

Nezumi: heh, I'd be watchful of what i'd say..

Nezumi: Well, that's all of the questions I have for you Shen!

Nezumi: Happy birthday again!

Benji's Birthday Card

Part 1

Nezumi: Happy Birthday Benji!

Benji: hey hey, thanks , now let's just get this interview over with already.

Nezumi: oh my- What's the rush?

Benji: Look, I enjoy being spoiled on my birthday but some students are making food for ME , I already know how I'll react.

Nezumi: you don't trust others with your food?

Benji: others besides my Brothers. We have a strong bond, so they understand me better naturally.

Nezumi: but i'm assuming since all three of you are the birthday boys, No one is letting you do anything?

Benji: augh.. yeah. Like come on, we're not kings..we're part of the lowest class of the food chain!

Nezumi: maybe they wanna make you feel special?

Benji: they can in anything BUT my food.

Nezumi: Well how about we move on to the questions?

Benji: whatever.

Nezumi: Alright, How do you feel on being congratulated?

Benji: It's nice , Like I said before, we're a low class so getting special treatment in any way feels nice

Nezumi: That's good but I'm curious then

Nezumi: besides being in a lower class. What do you do for your birthday at home ?

Benji: well we couldn't do much, Basically any time before 6 and when our dad was there, We were just lucky at the time to get food

Nezumi: Was your dad ..excuse me if I cross a line , Abusive?

Benji: Yes , That's as far as I'll go. I can somewhat talk about it but it's harder for Shen and Eddie. Especially Eddie, In his questioning please don't bring him up at all, try to keep the focus on mom.

Nezumi: understood

Benji: -sigh - thanks

Nezumi: so if they were like that before 6 , what was it like after ?

Benji: hm Well Once Mom got a job, She got better food and made us whatever we wanted to try. Shen Got chicken , I got steak and Eddie got Salami. It was a blast to have those!

Part 2

Nezumi: Next , what is your favorite food?

Benji: Steak with Steak fries with Hot sauce!

Nezumi: Ah that's an interesting combo , well it's average besides the hot sauce

Benji: yeah but it's a classic! plus I love my food spicy

Nezumi: Same here! thought how much can you handle in terms of hotness?

Benji: Oh I can handle a high amount, Bet I could beat you if we were to compete~

Nezumi: no doubts there...

Nezumi: though , I thought you're favorite would of been a bit more fancy ya know ?

Benji: just because I have finer taste , doesn't mean I'm picky on what's my favorite

Nezumi: I see.. well what about you're least favorite ?

Benji: oh I can eat anything really ..expect for food that's unbalanced especially in seasoning.

Nezumi: oh? care to explain ?

Benji: Food is a blessing and should be prepared just right! The slightest imperfection can ruin the right amount of taste!

Nezumi: hmm. I never thought of it that way

Benji: exactly! Like think of your favorite food but it's not done correct or not to its fullest potential of being better than it is.

Nezumi: ohh well now I see why you're picky about others making your food now

Nezumi: that also reminds me. You mentioned you wanted to be a chef correct ?

Benji: yep, My brothers can do their own career and i wish to take over the family business my mom created.

Nezumi: That sounds nice! What inspired you for that ?

Benji: nothing much, our village is a place where it's hard to find good food, so I hope to perfect my skills as a chef so i can feed everyone freely

Nezumi: that's very noble of you ! When do you plan to pull through?

Benji: hopefully after I graduate , If not soon after. I'm trying not to be impatient about it since I need to be the best for my village

Part 3

Nezumi: The interview is almost over

Benji: good, no offense, I really just wanna check the others in the kitchen..

Nezumi: I'll try to wrap it up quick if I can!

Nezumi: so , what is your favorite birthday memory

Benji: ...

Benji: When Mom stayed you all night with me and cooked all sorts of things

Nezumi: oh? What lead to that ?

Benji: well , mom made a us a really great dinner and i really wanted to know how to she did it, so she offered to help me learn. It's funny, she said that I refused to sleep so she stayed up with me until I was satisfied.

Benji: we didn't sleep til 5 am.

Nezumi: goodness!

Benji: yeah but I can appreciate how she wanted to encourage my interest -smiles- I'm lucky to have her as a mom

Nezumi: I can tell, You have a genuine look on your face

Benji: watch it Mouse.

Nezumi: -giggles- alright alright!

Nezumi: Now My final question

Benji: Alright then..

Nezumi: What do you look forward to your birthday?

Benji: My brother's opening their gifts

Nezumi: the joke ones?

Benji: No. My genuine gifts that i got them. Anytime they want something and don't plan to get it right away, I take a mental note and save it for christmas or our birthday.

Nezumi: you remember all of them ?

Benji: of course i do , who doesn't ?

Nezumi: honestly a lot of people

Benji: hmhp probably not as good as a brother as I am.

Nezumi: sure let's go with that.

Nezumi: But do Shen and Eddie remember as well as you?

Benji: Eddie? Yes . Shen? He's a lost cause with memory

Nezumi: SO by your logic , he's not a good brother?

Benji: ....

Nezumi: ok! I'm joking

Benji: you're fine but he's different. He's just not bright ~

Nezumi: phew, thought you were gotten bite me...

Nezumi: well that's all of my questions. Happy Birthday again Benji!

Part 1

Nezumi: happy birthday Eddie!

Eddie: hahah!

Nezumi: oh this might be weird. I forgot you can't speak properly-

Eddie: -signs- "Can you understand sign at least ? "

Nezumi: Oh ! Yes I can! That would be more helpful!

Eddie: "Alright! I'm glad this will help you ask questions Nezu Chan! "

Nezumi: Alright then , First question

Nezumi: how do you feel on being congratulated?

Eddie: "It's really nice! I feel in touch with all of my friends!"

Nezumi: you seem in good terms with everyone

Eddie: "Why wouldn't I be? I love everyone here! "

Nezumi: hmm well im not sure if most others in your dorm feel the same way ..

Eddie: Ha?

Nezumi: Nothing! Just talking to myself

Nezumi; N-next question! What do you do for your birthday at home?

Eddie: "We have a party just between me , My brothers and our mom! sometimes if a family member visits, they join too! "

Nezumi: that sounds nice! anything else?

Eddie: "Well sometimes Me and my bros go to the jungle that's near our town and collect bugs! "

Nezumi: oh? That's interesting, do you guys like bugs?

Eddie" "well..I really do but Shen and Benji don't really..They mainly do it just for me and I appreciate it! Some of the bugs are cool and tasty!"

Nezumi: wow that sounds really- ...wait you eat bugs?

Eddie: "Yeah! They're tasty especially when you season and fry them! You should try it! "

Nezumi: I'll pass-

Part 2

Nezumi: Moving on, What is your favorite food?

Eddie: "Salami! "

Nezumi: Just lunch meat ? nothing else with it?

Eddie: "it's nice to eat by itself! and if i wanted anything else , it goes with almost anything in a sandwich"

Nezumi: hmm I guess that's true , I do like salami myself

Eddie: "yeah ! It's the best" hahhaha!

Nezumi: well in that case, what's your least favorite food?"

Eddie: "Crackers"

Nezumi: Oh? Any reason why?

Eddie: "They remind me of the taste of sand...it tastes awful.."

Nezumi: did someone make you eat sand?..if so that really is

Eddie: "nope, It's when i tried to bite the bugs that were on the ground and when i missed , I obviously sank my teeth in the ground and gulped up some sand "

Nezumi: That sounds worst for some reason-

Eddie: "now it's really only bland crackers only- If some crackers have good taste or at least have something to have it with like cheese- then I'm more willing to eat it "

Nezumi: Eh Make sense

Nezumi: next question! I somewhat have an idea fro your brothers careers, so What do you wish to do ?

Eddie: "That's hard but maybe a scientist! If not a doctor."

Nezumi: That's not a surprising answer, You are very smart so I can see you doing well in either!

Eddie: "I have a few reasons for them. A Scientist so I can help create formulas to help people especially those in dire need and well being a doctor for nearly the same reason"

Nezumi: It's nice still , You always have people in their best interests in for your career choice

Eddie: Well of course! I want everyone to live their best lives! Even If I have to suffer in mine."

Nezumi: Eddie Don't make me cry please.

Part 3

Nezumi: We're getting to the final questions now

Eddie: "Awesome! "

Nezumi: So Do you have a favorite birthday Moment?

Eddie: Hmm....."It's hard to say , I love them all to pick a favorite, if anything involves my family ! Just my brothers and My mom can make anything right! "

Nezumi: Hmm..Well in that case What was the most fun or most interesting?

Eddie: ...! "Oh! I know! When i got a dress ! My first dress in fact"

Nezumi: Oh you wear dresses? That's nice!

Eddie: "Yeah! I always wanted to wear them! So one of our birthdays , Shen and Benji got my a few dresses to try and it made me so happy! I got to wear them for the rest of the day!"

Nezumi: That was sweet of them! Do you only wear dresses or do you do makeup as well?

Eddie: "I'm not confident in makeup but maybe one day! just not now."

Nezumi: Maybe i could help you if you need it! or probably vil as well!

Eddie: "Thanks! I appreciate it! "

Nezumi: Now it's time for the final question! "

Eddie:-nods-

Nezumi: What are you looking forward to today?

Eddie: "Not sure.. but all I know is that My teddy will be joining us! "

Nezumi: Your teddy?

Eddie: "Yeah! My comfort teddy from when" ....."Something happened. Sorry! He's my favorite teddy and he helps me feel safe and someone to talk to! "

Eddie: "Mom sent him here for my birthday and he arrived just on time! "

Nezumi: I like plushies too! Though I don't own any at the moment..
