vanessa is also a wererabbit of course obviously and was one first way before gregory. she and him are siblings and live w freddy as their father (she still lives at home but is in college, and gregory is 12. idk if they’re blood related or not yet).

vanessa got cursed by an evil like supernatural wererabbit (glitchtrap) and had to deal with being a wererabbit without hurting anybody and also not telling them. on accident one night gregory gets cursed himself because he saw vanessa in her rabbit form and got taken by her to glitchtrap

he wakes up with no memory of the event the next day in his bed. he doesn’t know anything is wrong except for not remembering much of the previous night for a while until the next full moon, and then boom it’s like a slap in the face

nobody EXCEPT vanessa knows gregory is a wererabbit and it’s the same with vanessa. vanessa knows he’s a wererabbit bc she remembers taking him to get cursed against his will. she never tells him though (that she’s a wererabbit AND that it’s her fault HE is out of fear. she struggles alone and gregory eventually gets found out by tony and ellis, and eventually vanessa does by gregory and that whole reveal. it hurts more that she didn’t tell him than anything else

You were asleep when Mike woke up, sweating and crying. He had just woken up from a nightmare featuring the yellow rabbit, the man who had hurt his little brother and almost his little sister too. He had a bad day before and was ultimately exhausted so his nightmare made him age regress.

“Daddy,” he cried out for you, softly shaking your shoulder, “please wake up.” In his dream, the yellow rabbit had hurt you too and he couldn’t bare it if his dream had become reality. You were too important to him. When you didn’t wake up, Mike began sobbing even more and shaking you even harder. “Please, don’t tell me the bad man hurt you too.”

Fortunately, you had woken up and caught the last half of Mike’s sentence. “Hey hey hey bear, I’m okay. Daddy’s okay.” You reassured him, mumbling with sleep still evident in your voice. You slowly sat up on your elbows and gathered your boy into a hug, running your hands along his back in a repetitive manner to soothe him.

“Do you want to tell me what happened? What bad man?” You asked even if you likely already knew. You had barely known Mike when he worked at Freddy’s but you had heard plenty about the events surrounding William Afton from him, Vanessa, and even Abby.

Mike sniffled, “the yellow rabbit. The one who took Garrett and almost hurt Abby. He had hurt you this time and I couldn’t save you and he laughed and laughed and laughed. And then he came to hurt me and that’s when I woke up.” He started to sob more because of his rambling, this time in your arms.

You lifted a hand up and ran your fingers through his soft hair. “Oh, I’m so sorry, baby boy. That must have been so scary. But I’m okay and so is Abby. She’s right down the hall and I’m right here with you in my arms, safe and sound.” Mike nodded but kept crying, clearly still upset with his dream.

You began to think of ways to further calm him that didn’t involve staying up too much longer. He might not want to sleep again but you know he should, as he’s always tired. “Hey, how about we go warm you up some milk? And then I can borrow a book from Abby and read you a bedtime story? Does that sound okay?” Mike blanched at the thought of sleeping again but nodded anyway.

“That’s my good boy.” You pressed a kiss to his forehead and detached yourself from him, quickly getting up and rushing over to his side of the bed. You helped him up and held his hand as you walked to the kitchen together. You knew he was regressed to his usual age of about 10 but the fact that he didn’t reject your hand holding meant he was still pretty scared.

You arrived at the kitchen with your boy in tow, grabbing a pot and the gallon of milk in the fridge. You poured out some milk into the pot and turned the stove on before putting the milk back in its place. You grabbed a plastic spoon to stir and began to hum softly, squeezing Mike’s hand as you did.

Soon enough, the milk was warm enough (as per your taste tester’s word) and you still held hands on the way back to his room. He sipped his milk and sat on the bed. You ran your fingers through his hair once again and then made your way to Abby’s room. You were plenty quiet as you grabbed a book you knew Mike liked.

Back in his room, Mike had laid back down and put his glass on the bedside table, his eyes already starting to close. But he fought it, wanting to hear you telling him a bedtime story. And so you began telling it, making sure to do all the voices you know he loved to hear. He giggled at the appropriate times, still sniffling a bit as he drank some more milk.

Within a few minutes, you had finished the story and looked up to see the glass empty and your boy soundly asleep. You smiled fondly and shut the book softly. Putting it next to the glass, you got back into bed with Mike. You moved him slightly so you could spoon him, hoping to protect him from any more nightmares. And with that, you fell back asleep as well.

OHHH boy this is gonna be a long one buckle up

Ever since Gregory was first announced I believe most of the fandom have interpreted him as this frail child who was always on the verge of tears and needed G.Freddy’s protection (think C.C 2.0), but once the game came out most ppl were shocked to see this kid actually has a lot of bite to him and kicked ass (ppl’s first reactions to him destroying the animatronics still make me laugh).

This was MY first introduction to him, so I wasn’t completely taken aback but still pleasantly surprised. Most if not all his actions made sense or at least made sense for a 10yr boy to think/act. Giant robots coming after me with the intention to kill (and insulting me for no damn reason)? Yeah I’d probably add an extra kick in there for good measure. Then came the first repair scene, when Vanessa revealed the high possibility of Gregory being an homeless orphan everything just clicked into place for me.

OF COURSE that’s why Gregory was so aggressive, he had to learn how to fight on his own to survive he’d probably had to face even worse than this! He wasn’t going to let that all go to waste bc some weird murderous rabbit lady wanted to drag him into her plans. It explains why he brushed off G.Freddy’s worries about him bc he’s used to have to just keep moving and bare thru pain, especially in an environment where that’s really the ONLY thing you can do. It’s why he’s so blunt and can come off as rude bc he was most likely never taught how to behave “correctly” bc really who has the time?

He was just using all the knowledge he learned on how to survive from a cruel and harsh environment for another. But this time he has an ally for once, an adult (father) figure who actually cares about his wellbeing, it’s no wonder why he became so attached (but struggles to show it bc he’s not used to it). And through all that easily irritable aggression, there are moments to remind us he’s still a kid.

A useless fridge magnet? Yeah that is pretty lame man.

Now imagine my shock when I see others hating on him and calling him a villain. “How could he KILL the poor animatronics? He was so mean, he’s the true monster!” Wh- DID WE WATCH THE SAME GAME? You mean the same animatronics that says he doesn’t have anyone to care about him? Yeah real sweethearts they are. Gregory isn’t a damn monster, he’s a survivor! He’s doing what he only knows best, IT’S TO SURVIVE!

“How could he be so mean to G.Freddy??? Those are his friends! He made Freddy feel bad!” Trust me when I say that Gregory cares about G.Freddy ALOT, did you see his reactions whenever G.Freddy got hurt??? That’s his father thank you very much!

“How could he have killed Vanny in that one ending?! He’s the real villain!” …Do I even need to explain this one?

And ohhhhhh don’t get me started on the awful “bratty gremlin devil” Gregory HCs. Now this isn’t to say that Gregory can’t be a gremlin or whatever. He can be, he is a bit cheeky, but then some started to intensify it and made it his entire personality. No, Gregory wasn’t just itching to rip Roxy’s eyes out or do the next batshit insane thing, he noticed the other upgrades and put two and two together (It gets more weird and slightly disrespectful when they add in the homeless thing as if that automatically makes someone act “feral”….tiktok.)

And then we have the complete opposite where some portray him as what I mentioned in the first paragraph. The poor helpless child who cant handle anything by himself…even though that’s complete bullshit (he’s also usually portrayed to be obnoxiously sweet for some reason). I don’t think many ppl realize how often were not in G.Freddy during SB, and Gregory is described to be quick on his feet and wits (plus his tools) and he doing damn well by himself! [Obviously this isnt to say that he didnt need G.Freddy’s help and protection, ofc he did, he just didnt need to RELY on it like some ppl make it seem he did].

(I know we went a bit off-topic for the last two paragraphs, trust me it connects)

All of this comes down to simply that some just can’t accept the fact that Gregory isn’t their perfect victim. He doesn’t crumble to the floor and beg for G.Freddy to help him up like they want him too. He’s not shy and sheepishly asking for help like they think he’s supposed to. And when they realize that part they try to push him into the other far end where he’s crazy, cold, and cruel. But he’s not. He cares, and he cares deeply. He’s still a little boy, he cried and tried to cover his face when he saw Vanny die. He should be leaping in victory, he killed his killer after all right? But he didn’t, bc despite everything she was still a human being, and he was so scared.

He has complex trauma (duh), he’s not this way or that way, and I get it. It’s hard to write or draw that kind of trauma for Gregory, especially when SB didn’t really give us much. But the way ppl act as if that’s what he actually is is soooooo frustrating. In my opinion the fact that his trauma is so complex and the fact he’s not your typical written victim is what makes him so interesting! And I feel like a lot ppl were slowly getting around to it…

Until GGY and Ruin happened and the hate came back so much worse, Welcome to the real Freddy Hell.

“What’s so funny?” Vanessa asked the third time she heard Gregory snicker. She looked up from her book and side-eyed him, genuinely surprised he wasn’t looking down at his phone. 

“That bunny over there,” he said, grinning. “I don’t know what its problem is, but it has lost its actual mind.” 

She followed his gaze across the park. Right where the manicured grass transitioned into a natural wooded area was a tan rabbit. It was running in tight circles. Nothing too unusual.

Vanessa opened her mouth, but Gregory waved his hand. “Just wait.” 

She obliged, and it wasn’t even a minute before the rabbit stopped and started thrashing around, ricocheting off the ground like it was being repelled. Her jaw dropped. The bunny tumbled over itself, went flat against the grass, tossed its head, then shot back up and started zipping in a circle again. 

“What the hell,” she muttered, fascinated in a disturbed sort of way. 

The bunny stopped again and appeared to start gnawing furiously on a fallen tree. Gregory trembled with laughter. 

Taking up a small branch in its mouth, the rabbit jerked its head back and forth to thwack the smaller branch against the log, the grass, the bushes, anything it could reach. After a minute, it spit the branch out with a spastic little kick of its back legs. 

And then it settled down, panting, obviously tired. It somehow managed to look angry. It thumped its legs behind it, the way a child laying on their stomach would. 

“It’s throwing a little bunny tantrum,” Gregory whispered gleefully.

“Maybe it has rabies?” 

“It’s so mad.” Gregory snickered, delighted. 

It went back to the log and latched on to it again with its teeth, gnawing and thrashing its tiny fluffy body. It was like watching a kitten try to emulate a lion ripping flesh from its prey. 

“There’s something wrong with it,” Vanessa decided. She had half a mind to call animal control, on the off chance it did have rabies. 

“That is the angriest creature in the entire world,” Gregory said. The rabbit leaned its head back with its mouth wide open. If it had been any other animal, it would have been screeching terribly. “I think it was a predator in a previous life. A crocodile or wolf or something, y’know?”

Playing along, Vanessa chuckled. “It’s killed before, but now it knows it’s too small and adorable to do that, so it’s pissed off.” 

Gregory cackled. “Yeah, yeah, that’s perfect. Killer turned harmless fluff-ball. I’d rage too.”

My father’s voice rang in my ears, stupid, this is all stupid. Why was he here, he was never here for me when I started college. He just wants to get near this baby, My baby.

“ oh how adorable! Vanessa I never realized you have curls! “

“ ah, they where just baby curls. But she looked adorable with them. “

Y/n, she’s the only reason I’m not dead. But god is she as dumb as rocks. Look at her, she’s the prettiest girl on earth, well, after me, and here she is. Laughing along with hour father about your old baby photos.

“ curls don’t look good on me anyways. My physique is for straight hair, maybe wavy tips if I need to look good. “

I felt myself smile slightly, rolling my eyes and looked back at my phone. Her compliments would usually keep me going, make me laugh and even cockier, but I didn’t want to show anything else around William. I hate him, I hate how he walks around like he’s not a monster. I hate how he has his name plaster around a building y/n frequents. I hate him.

But. Y/n is making it better. She looks beautiful with that baby bump, and I’ve been able to keep her in the house easier with all those rumors shes baby trapped me. She couldn’t even if she tried.

FNAF BRAIN ROT IS BACK:

I know I’ll never get it BUT I would love if the first time we see Henry in the movie is him going to see William trapped in the suit; But he can’t find him until he hears something. From a distance he can hear William whistling the tune of ‘you are my teddy bear’ which he follows obviously revealing William.

Then towards the end while Mike (or whoever) distracts William we hear someone whistling ‘run rabbit run’. William immediately recognises it as Henry and kinda smiles at it.

ALSO MY GIRLFRIEND WANTS TO ADD A BIT:

During Vanessa’s coma Henry would visit her when Mike wasn’t there (Mike wouldn’t ever notice though). He would bring her things as well, most likely teddies. The reason he does is because he sees Vanessa as a daughter figure (even after the murders he kept in contact with her because he knew she would need someone like him). William does know about how Henry feels for his daughter and is kinda okay with it (He also often “accidentally” refers to Henry as Vanessa’s “another dad”)

FNAF movie au/idea:

How would they(Mike, Abby, Vanessa, William, and missing kids; basically the main gang) react to Nightmarionette?? Like. Would they be scared or smth??

Or like. If not that, can we like. Talk bout some of our puppet theories n all???- sjbshsbsbhd I dunno. You seem cool💪, and like. I love your ideas for the puppet for the movie

I'm going to rant like nobody's business so forgive me if I start to go crazy-

I have so many theories about The Puppet in the movie that it’s driving me insane. I mean, I’ve thought about it a little bit more the more I’ve watched the movie to get a better insight into it. So let me propose a few theories I’ve made during/after I’ve watched the movie.

1. Garrett is The Marionette

Pretty obvious, that it's getting more popular as time goes on, and as someone who believed the Fnaf 4 crying child was The Marionette since the beginning it brings me great joy.

But let me propose to you an idea: Who has Mike been looking for throughout the entire movie? And I mean, who was he really looking for?

Apart from the man who kidnapped Garrett (William, obviously), it's very obvious he wanted to find Garrett by any means possible. And even at the end of the movie, I can tell he still wants to find Garrett with that slight possibility that he might find him if he searched through Freddy Fazbear’s Pizzeria a bit deeper.

But then the credits happened which details a single quote.

“Come find me.”

The voice format is the same one The Marionette used way back in the Fnaf 2 minigames, specifically the ‘Save Them Help Them’ minigame.

So, this is The Marionette and if my theory is true that Garrett is The Puppet then he wants to be found.

But where is he?

Which leads up to my second theory-

2. Garrett is hiding/has been hidden somewhere

As the credits said, Garrett wanted to be found.

But the real question is where is he?

Before the movie came out, I suspected that The Puppet was hidden within Golden Freddy so that maybe in a scene they’d come out scaring William away from Abbh to protect her.

And while that may hold up, I also considered that they may have been hidden somewhere where even the children (especially Cassidy) couldn't reach them for help. So I thought that it was a possibility that William may have hidden Garrett away in fear of his powers and growing influence on the children. And with him ‘gone’ William would have a better chance to influence the children to do his bidding as they think of him (as the Golden Rabbit) as their friend.

Obviously, The Marionette’s box wasn't enough to keep Garrett down, especially with the trouble of winding the music box.

So what other way to keep Garrett’s body but also the animatronic they possess all in one place?

It has two locks. One or two keys to open it yet only William has them and can set Garrett free from the confines of the box.

But he won't let that happen unless Mike or Abby find the box themselves and set their brother free.

3. Garrett is watching from the sidelines

Might as well be possible, the powers The Marionette has are like Golden Freddy’s, mysterious and unexplainable. Despite their absence, their power still holds strong enough to watch over the children, maybe over the Schmidt family as a whole.

It's obvious that even when they’re hidden, they will have the will to protect the innocent.

Also-

I know this isn't what you asked but I can imagine that Nightmarionne is a personification of William's fear of Garrett himself. He would have never expected a little boy to cause so much trouble for him, let alone to the point where he had to lock him away in hopes he'd never resurface.

Or maybe it’ll be Mike’s nightmare for not saving Garrett thus making him become The Marionette and a shell of what he once was.

Moon was always Vanny’s puppet.

dramatic title aside. The hw2 endings adds some context to things that were confusing in security breach and ruin. Specifically the daycare attendant.

(Fair warning: this might be a whole lot of stretches and really scuffed but hear me out and help wanted 2 spoilers. This was made for fun. Long post ahead)

In ruin, Cassie’s description of the sun and moon plush state things like “I never slept better than I did in the daycare” and “I used to have so much fun in the daycare” which are a bit different than what we’re initially presented with in the night terrors message in security breach.

Both of these differing statements are true. But it’s just when they take place. I think Cassie’s time in the daycare was before the glitchtrap virus stuff started going on. If it wasn’t happening at the time, Moon wouldn’t be acting up. The night terrors message was written during the time where Moon was infected with the virus, that’s why he’s scaring children to the point of making them afraid of the dark.

His default code wasn’t a problem. He wasn’t created to be evil. Moon was good until the virus took a hold and he starts following Vanny’s orders.

While yes, the glamrocks probably follow what Vanny asks. Moon specifically is the helper.

Handunit in hw 2 talks about the endos like they are children. They are built with mimicking technology and are taught by behaviour cards so they understand what’s expected from them in situations.

In Security breach the warehouse has doors with lessons for the endos. But looking around the place, it’s clear that all of these lessons were failed.

Why do they keep failing them? Because they believe the incorrect lesson is right.

The endo warehouse has so many things with Moon or relating to daycare. If endos are influenced by cards and lessons, what’s to say they aren’t influenced by Moon? If Vanny placed everything relating to him there, it’s because the endos should follow his lead, not exactly like the glamrocks. The glamrocks have behaviours and personalities that makes them well..them. Example Roxy will follow Vanny’s orders but she still takes the time to cry alone or how Chica will still binge on food.

With Moon, it’s not like that. Yes, glimpses of personality makes itself known like the cackling and clear annoyance with cleaning up. He has fun along the way but will still try to get the job done. He’s always tracked down Gregory’s location despite the kid being far from daycare.

In ruin, there’s endos in daycare because to them, it’s similar to the warehouse. They recognise Moon and if Vanny isn’t there to control things anymore, her head puppet is next best thing.

In the “final” endo warehouse lesson, there’s painted rabbit ears and an outline that can be glitchtrap.

Besides I think it’s very interesting the two notable characters who have beckoning animations at the player are glitchtrap and moon. They obviously aren’t the same person at all but it can be the virus in his code.

In hw2’s PQ4 ending Moon is the claw of the machine Vanny is playing. Vanny doesn’t get it herself, Moon is the one who gets it for her.

It’s almost like how Moon targets Freddy instead of Gregory. He has the perfect opportunity as Gregory is basically backed to a corner with Freddy being low on battery before this. He takes out Freddy for Vanessa to leave him immobile and without his head attached. Why go for Freddy? Because Freddy is Gregory’s only ally. Sure, Gregory could sneak but he’s alone and more vulnerable to the animatronics and Vanny getting him.

What does sun have to do with this?

Sun and Moon’s relationship early in the timeline is unknown. So we’ll have to go off on what the games give us.

I think Sun knows there’s something going on with Moon. It’s why he’s very insistent of lights being on. He doesn’t know if Moon will do something that will hurt someone or place them under risk of being decommissioned.

He can’t do anything to help himself or Moon because he’s stuck to daycare unlike Moon who has free access to leave. Thus their situation was always bound to get worse.

In arts and crafts: loft, Sun sits closely by a light under a fort. He insists you leave immediately after you’re done because he considers himself and Moon a threat to you and others. If the power in daycare is dwindling, he has no control over Moon coming out. Sun would rather stay abandoned and alone than risk it.

Ruin is where their situation reaches its peak. There’s no lights and Sun is a prisoner in his body. He’s stuck in ar world. Both he and Moon have lost it due to prolonged isolation. He pleads to be rebooted because it’s his and Moon’s only way to be at peace again. If they’re rebooted into safe mode, it cuts off Vanny’s control of them.

Sun and Moon’s situation parallels the Vanessa and Vanny thing. Moon is Sun’s Vanny. Moon and Vanny play with their prey and have red glowing eyes. Vanessa doesn’t like dark basements and wanted to follow instructions like how Sun doesn’t want the lights off and strictly follows rules.

I’m not saying they’re a one by one comparison. Both things are different here and there but still there is small things there.

Jack o moon and Balloon world

Notably, balloon world and Jack o moon are kinda similar. In balloon world, you have to follow the purple glitched path to get the goodnight from the eclipse in that game. In the Foxy log ride, you have to go through the alternate ar world path of the ride where you find Jack o moon.

It’s also interesting that in hw2 we play princess quest 4 but in security breach there’s messages of another person playing the games too. This person gets more and more fixated to where they’re begging to save the princess. Eventually their last message is in the loft next to balloon world.

It also should be noted that other arcade machine with balloon world in security breach is in Vanny’s other hideout in the Burntrap ending.

Look, who knows I might be entirely wrong but there’s so many questions left. Why is the warehouse linked to Sun and Moon? Who is the person trying to save the princess? Who are we playing as? What’s even going on anymore?

I know using stuff from hw2 is debatable considering the first game but I do think some aspects of the ruined sections of hw2 happened in the timeline. I can’t wait to be proven so wrong.

Ok but like another thing I've been thinking about with Vanessa

The fact that she's probably done this exact same thing with so many other guards over the years... The whole coming to the location to talk to them, gain their trust, and eventually help to cover up their eventual murder, knowing that it's gonna happen eventually... And Mike and Abby (especially with Abby being in the picture I feel) was where she finally decided to draw the line and finally wanted to try to end this cycle of death and suffering...

This is such an amazing point and I agree so deeply, especially r.e past security guards. I think after a certain point, William deliberately started involving her more and more as a way to both cement his control over her and also groom her to take over the role of the yellow rabbit. Like, he wants his legacy to continue yk?

The involvement of Abby is also super interesting cause I think Vanessa has a certain degree of cognitive dissonance/disassociation from what she's doing but obviously that's hard to maintain when there's a Real Kid in front you.

Plus, Mike prompts her to Get Out Of Her Own Head cause he's a little angry, pathetic, freak but has the guts to keep chasing after justice for his brother. He's what Vanessa wants to be in that way, somebody with the resolve to try and keep trying for 20 ish years. Somebody who isn't controlled, manipulated, and stuck becoming the opposite of what they want.

So that all causes her to Draw The Line. I think it's definitely a moment of impulse to be honest and I don't know if she would have committed to it if she had more time to think things through but She Does It.

(But I also think after her dad.... yk.... 🔪🔪 she regrets it So Much because she's been chasing after him for like 30 years, trying to get him to love her, and now he's throwing her aside like she's Nothing.)

WarioWare: Double Up!

One day, Wario discovers that there’s a popular new video game company called Hotcake Studios- so popular, in fact, that WarioWare Inc. is losing business to them! Even worse, when he gets his hands on one of their games he discovers that it has the same microgame formula as his games, and that the company is owned by none other than his Treasure Hunting rival Captain Syrup. And then to make matters even worse, when he goes to confront her about so obviously muscling in on his business, she reveals that she’s also got her own development team of colorful characters…and each one is a clear direct counterpart to one of the WarioWare Crew. Or in Wario’s words, “You’re not just bootlegging my games, you’re bootlegging my flunkies, too!”

After the whole thing nearly comes to blows, the two strike a deal; each company will make a game, both with the same set of themes(and with each set of counterparts working on the same theme. So for example, Ashley and whoever her counterpart is both make Fantasy-themed microgames), price, and release date, and at the end of the year they’ll see which game sold more copies. Loser has to become a subsidiary of the winner.

I’m not sure how exactly that would translate into a gameplay gimmick (I’m a story guy not a gameplay guy), but as far as story mode goes each level’s story would involve the WarioWare Host getting into some sort of competition with their Hotcake counterpart, some friendlier than others.

The actual counterparts are:

Mona: Vanessa, that one singer who had a rivalry with her in Touched

Jimmy T: Jenny K, a semi-famous breakdancer

Dribble and Spitz: A Wolf and Bird racecar-driving duo named Howler and Chirpz

Orbulon: Tatanga, because why not

9-Volt: A fourth-grade gamer girl named M-Byte

18-Volt: M-Byte’s older brother G-Byte

5-Volt: M-Byte and G-Byte’s dad, K-Byte

13-Amp: A friend of M and G named 64-Bit

Fronk: a Wanderin’ Goom, just named Goom

Dr. Crygor: Rival inventor Professor Boreal

Penny: Boreal’s niece, Hailey

Mike: A singing Piranha Plant named Polly

Doris 1: A robot butler named Vincent

Ashley and Red: A bubbly Magical Girl named Sora and her shapeshifting rabbit friend Violet

The eventual end result is a draw. Both games somehow sold an exactly equal number of units. While this news initially shocks and infuriates Wario and Syrup, they take it as a sign that this whole argument just isn't worth their time and resolve to just more-or-less ignore each-others gaming ventures. Meanwhile, most of their employees have actually made friends with each-other, not really caring about the competition or their bosses' bad history to begin with.

I tried redesigning Vanny's fit

(-Super gender neutral costume; - uncomfortable, but fits any follower)

(Literally the most generic children's animator costume)

The biggest thing that bothered me is honestly the material Vanessa had to use for her costume to be so fitting for her body. And stitches both on Glitchtrap and Vanny, bc really hard things to sew have zero stitches visible, but super easy thing to make has the most sloppy stiching. Maybe when i have more time I'll flesh it out a bit more.

Anyway for both i just used silly little rabbits costumes

Both of those are obviously crazy uncomfortable for murdering children, but it makes more sense for Vanny to loook at least similar to traditional actor costumes

was thinking last night about the direction the fnaf story is going and I was thinking about vanny cassie. like vanny cassie would be such a perfect villain because it brings vanny back to the spotlight and cassie has a connection to Gregory as a friend.

her arc would be so tragic in every way and she wouldnt know what or who to believe. she would believe she was abandoned by Gregory again (in this case he didnt cut the elevator) like all her friends and her dad did and that vanny is a friend. both manipulation and supernatural mind control stuff like glitchtrap did to vanessa to create vanny.

and 3 stars could be the protags in a post hw2 dlc game that's big and free roam story like sb. I think Gregory would be a better choice as player because he would have the best reason to chase after cassie; shes his friend. vanessa would be very important also because like. Vannys back. and now she has a family and another kid shes gonna fight like hell for.

"the family missed the greatest opportunity of their lives" vanessa didnt destroy vanny glitchtrap and mimic when she should have, and now they're back. and she isnt gonna run away scared this time. shell finally end them for good

and also Vannys motivation. since vanny killed glitchtrap (probably to take his place as big bad bunny virus) this makes you wonder why shes doing this. we dont know why glitchtrap did it either so I guess the same reason as him. shes supposed to be reluctant tho so? idk what's changed. but we'll go with building the monarchy evil pyramid back up

so vanny would be trying to get all of the followers back, or maybe shes still following mimics orders and it wants them back. could have a potential rebellion plot from vanny at the end but that's besides my point

the point is itd be such a fun spot to reveal ggy. Vanessa's been hiding it from Gregory to protect him, maybe freddy too, and Gregory has no idea and just knows he has tons of memory loss. hes moved past it to live his new life, but after doing all this to get Cassie back, it turns out vanny wants all the followers back and hey, why is she talking about 2?? who is dr rabbit?? why is she after me??

I just think theres a lot of potential in a plot like that for all characters. Vanessa's arc as vanny is already so interesting but cassie has an obviously very similar arc becoming vanny but also so different. she would be manipulated while shes alone hurting and believing she was betrayed with abandonment issues and taken advantage of. vanny would be using her as a vessel, so theyd have to get her out of cassie to kill her for good.

and if Gregory had to find out about ggy at this point, itd be a big deal but also truly make that connection between cassie and Gregory. no matter who cut the elevator Gregory would feel at fault because he either did it or wasnt fast enough to stop cassie before it happened. so he would have to confront condemning cassie to the same fate his family and now apparently HE went through and that's his best friend man. and also not to mention the concpet of vanessa and cassie of course

Vanessa and Vanny from FNAF are (unfortunately?) plural to me. Amnesia barrier between them keeps Vanessa from realizing that she's putting Gregory in danger (since she's obviously well intentioned) while Vanny- being manipulated by Glitchtrap- is kinda the trauma holder, the one who interacts with their abuser bc they're forced to and also the one who gets to crush him like a bug. Their personalities, behaviors and memories are different, and they likely formed due to Vanessa compartmentalizing the abuse they suffered at the hands of their father, which she expresses explicitly and has a near total disconnect from the memories. Vanny is seen as Vanessa's "evil side", but is also explicitly shown crying out for help and is just as human as Vanessa at the end of the day down to yknow, not wanting to go along with her abuser's plan to kill people

Similarly, Dr. Rabbit/Rab/GGY and Gregory from the FNAF books are plural for similar reasons :]

Vanny/Vanessa are definitionally plural.

[GGY WEEK DAY 5: Rabbit, Reclaim]

So even though I wasn’t exactly planning on participating in this fanweek, I couldn’t resist giving my own piece with the topic of supernatural! My AU ‘Beware The Malhare’ is near and dear to me and I couldn’t pass up the chance to draw my gurl again! In case you don’t know about said AU, long story short Vanessa is forever cursed to transform into a bunny beastie. (There is more to it then that but that’s a quick summary).

The peice itself ended up being pretty abstract and minimalist, but I honestly love how it turned out! Though if I could change it, I would try to make her look more Vanny-ish as the minimalist style kinda makes it not obviously SB related. Oh well.
