#hw2 DLC save me....

was thinking last night about the direction the fnaf story is going and I was thinking about vanny cassie. like vanny cassie would be such a perfect villain because it brings vanny back to the spotlight and cassie has a connection to Gregory as a friend.

her arc would be so tragic in every way and she wouldnt know what or who to believe. she would believe she was abandoned by Gregory again (in this case he didnt cut the elevator) like all her friends and her dad did and that vanny is a friend. both manipulation and supernatural mind control stuff like glitchtrap did to vanessa to create vanny.

and 3 stars could be the protags in a post hw2 dlc game that's big and free roam story like sb. I think Gregory would be a better choice as player because he would have the best reason to chase after cassie; shes his friend. vanessa would be very important also because like. Vannys back. and now she has a family and another kid shes gonna fight like hell for.

"the family missed the greatest opportunity of their lives" vanessa didnt destroy vanny glitchtrap and mimic when she should have, and now they're back. and she isnt gonna run away scared this time. shell finally end them for good

and also Vannys motivation. since vanny killed glitchtrap (probably to take his place as big bad bunny virus) this makes you wonder why shes doing this. we dont know why glitchtrap did it either so I guess the same reason as him. shes supposed to be reluctant tho so? idk what's changed. but we'll go with building the monarchy evil pyramid back up

so vanny would be trying to get all of the followers back, or maybe shes still following mimics orders and it wants them back. could have a potential rebellion plot from vanny at the end but that's besides my point

the point is itd be such a fun spot to reveal ggy. Vanessa's been hiding it from Gregory to protect him, maybe freddy too, and Gregory has no idea and just knows he has tons of memory loss. hes moved past it to live his new life, but after doing all this to get Cassie back, it turns out vanny wants all the followers back and hey, why is she talking about 2?? who is dr rabbit?? why is she after me??

I just think theres a lot of potential in a plot like that for all characters. Vanessa's arc as vanny is already so interesting but cassie has an obviously very similar arc becoming vanny but also so different. she would be manipulated while shes alone hurting and believing she was betrayed with abandonment issues and taken advantage of. vanny would be using her as a vessel, so theyd have to get her out of cassie to kill her for good.

and if Gregory had to find out about ggy at this point, itd be a big deal but also truly make that connection between cassie and Gregory. no matter who cut the elevator Gregory would feel at fault because he either did it or wasnt fast enough to stop cassie before it happened. so he would have to confront condemning cassie to the same fate his family and now apparently HE went through and that's his best friend man. and also not to mention the concpet of vanessa and cassie of course

more help wanted 2 stuff (short) (i promise)

i think im just feeling a bit off because lore and story wise it didnt really bring anything big, it didnt answer any questions nor confirm or deny any theories and like amazing gameplay aside, its a bit pointless in the story part. there might still be a dlc in the future like for HW1 that will bring more answers

and for the 1970s lore oh man i dont know! i dont know if i care. honestly if we do get the carnival plot and some origins in the form of a carnival, im afraid its gonna be some mimic bs and i wont care about it. i dont think theyre ever gonna show fredbears.. and william and henry or anyone else and if they did, im afraid they would butcher it like they did with vanny and vanessa. might be harsh, but vanny had such potential and they just didnt use it at all. she was my fav character and once SB came out i just stopped caring about her. literally just the movie saved vanessa for me now.. and the bar is low for me but theyre very good at limbo dancing

lore aside i loved hw and im enjoying hw2 as well gameplay wise, sb was okay, i absolutely loved ruin. they can do good stuff but new fnaf lore is just not for me i guess.

Can we all please agree that if Monty is not in DLC or an update, it's a slap in the face to Monty fans?

First off, yeah, I would have loved to see some more of the FNAF6 cast. The usage of the Rockstars, even as cameos, would have been excellent. I'm still perplexed at why Scraptrap and Molten were axed (although the latter connection to the blob has me think they have something planned)

At the same time, this game's main focus was Sister Location and Security Breach.

When the game was first announced, I thought it would be Sister Location and FNAF6, with a smidge of Security Breach.

HW1 is primarily FNAF 1-3, with FNAF 4 and SL being merged. This is why even though I wanted to see Ballora, it was alright. The game's focus was never on the Funtimes; they were more of a bonus. It sucks that the DLC excluded her, but it was a "Hey, we didn't use many of the FNAF4 animatronics, here's some unique games for them."

Then you get to HW2, and the entire animatronic cast of SL is in this game. Believe me, I was not expecting Fun-Time Foxy at all. The real focus of this game is SB. Every animatronic but Monty gets voice lines, a minigame, or a unique scene. Monty gets a statue and plushie; that's it.

I think it's more upsetting that it seems SW saw all of the "Monty killed Bonnie, we hate him posts" and decided that they would double down on it. It's already been annoying being a Monty fan, with people not understanding whether or not Monty killed Bonnie. People can like characters that are GASP, not entirely good. (also, this is the same series with a child killer).

It sucks that the only thing Monty fans get is some dumb gutterball animation that strokes the fires of that debate. Not only do we not have Monty, but we also have to deal with "Monty KiLled BoNnIe" all over again.

Before you come at me saying I'm being over dramatic. Imagine if Roxy, Chica, Freddy, Sun/Moon, or DJ were missing. Imagine if, once again, Vanny didn't appear. That your favorite was the only one not in the game. At the same time, you saw everyone getting new content and fans talking about how their faves got new lines or lore. You are stuck being told to be grateful over a statue.

I don't need Monty to have major importance or whatever suddenly. Considering he's possibly dead after Ruin, and HW2 is set before that game. It would have been nice to see him one last time in VR, which is part of the appeal.

My only hope is that they decide to save Monty for DLC because his minigame or whatever they had planned took too much time, and they didn't want to rush it.

Right now, it feels like we're being punished for liking the "wrong" animatronic.

ideal ggy reveal for me right now is some sort of game whatever format theyd use (for example sb vs hw is very different storytelling) about vanny killing dr rabbit and it leads up to the beginning of sb at the end

No that also pisses me off a little, yeah Gregory might not be the protagonist in hw2 BUT we basically just got ggy confirmation and that steelwool actually acknowledges it. If they weren’t going to do anything with Ggy I don’t think they would’ve brought it back up ever again. Hw2 dlc save us…

Now that help wanted 2 is done what do you the next big fnaf game will take place?

Something tells me it will either be a giant circus or theme park. The protag will either be Gregory or Vanessa (highly likely Gregory), take place 1 or 2 years after ruin. Antagonist will obviously be the mimic (maybe Vanny! Cassie and Controlled Roxy), and there will probably be a canon bittersweet ending.

Maybe Gregory confronting Cassie if it was him that did it or not. They fight each other with both of them injured.

for the next game AFTER hw2 dlc (since that's what's coming next rn), a carnival seems like it could be next in line with how much they're hinting at it in like everything. a fnaf disney land style park would be INSANE!!! and if STEEL WOOL was given creative freedom..... guys. fnaf amusement park by steel wool is the perfect recipe for peak

but yeah I feel it in my heart we're getting more Gregory + vanessa (mostly gregory) screentime. I dont actually think theyre fully going the vanny cassie route but things are so confusing right now. they're definitely hinting at a ggy return and vanny is her own virus now shown in hw2 so vanny is definitely a villain, but I dont think through cassie?

so my guess is maybe not Gregory protag but Gregory screentime. possibly as ggy. we might get to see a protect vs obey dynamic with Gregory and ggy like how vanessa was supposed to be in sb, like they're getting a second chance :) would be super cool to see that with Gregory and cassie

but yeah I wonder if cassie will be included in the villain roster. I'm thinking they pulled a 180 on us and we thought it would be vanny cassie with guilty Gregory, but it might be the other way around. reglitchtrapped ggy with guilty cassie. would be super cool to see

I just dont see them making everybody reglitchtrapped bc there would be no protag lol. maybe vanny isn't in vanessa at all, but then what would the candy cadet story mean? that would make sense for Gregory + Freddy protag so greg could save the girls but then what's with the ggy hints if he wouldnt show up?

this is my Freddy protag propaganda. theres only one father protag I wanna see in fnaf and Its the most peak father anyway. go save your family and your sons bff Freddy <3

but anyway I'm just so excited to see what they do next. they cooked with hw2 no matter how confusing the STORY is (the game itself was amazing) and they're so obviously planning something. ruin was very clearly a setup and hw2 goes hand in hand with that and set up MORE for us so. something big is coming no way there isnt. and with how sb looked that long ago before the great massacre of 2021, and how much their games have evolved since then, they're cooking and its gonna be a delicious meal
