Prompt idea: Fnaf Actor au
Actors answering fans questions? Or just shenanigans & bloopers on set
Oooh, I do like a good actor AU, even if I’ve never written one before myself!
Interview
Gregory felt almost comically small in his chair between Freddy and Vanessa. His feet swung freely beneath him, not even close to reaching the footrest. He listened as the adults bantered a bit after Freddy finished answering the previous question; he was maybe a little bored, but it wasn’t too bad. And he’d been promised ice cream afterwards.
The interviewer finally moved on to the next question on her sheet, asking, “For each of you, is there any scene in particular that you enjoyed filming most?”
Vanessa laughed. “Oh, any scene where I got to be absolutely terrible. The plotting scenes with Will in the secret basement were some of my favorites.”
Grinning, Gregory poked her arm. “Running around in your bunny costume, not so much, right?”
Through her laughter, Vanessa explained, “I don’t know why they never changed it, but those bunny feet had zero traction. And with all the tile—I was constantly slipping.”
“You weren’t alone,” Freddy said ruefully. “The animatronic costumes… plastic and smooth tile simply do not mix.”
“I think we were all pretty jealous of Gregory’s sneakers,” Vanessa snickered, nudging him.
Gregory lifted his feet up and clicked them together, setting off the lights lining the sides. “My secret weapon,” he joked. “It’s why you never managed to catch me.”
The interviewer laughed along with them, and once they started to calm down, prompted Vanessa, “You enjoyed playing the villain, then?”
“Loved it,” she agreed easily. “I think this was my favorite role out of any I’ve ever had.”
“It’s been uniquely fun for most of us,” Freddy added. “Being so silly in what is otherwise a horror story—it’s been quite the experience.”
“And your favorite scene to film?”
Freddy reached over and ruffled Gregory’s hair. “It’s hard to choose, but I think the our laser tag scene wins by a small margin.”
“He’s really bad at laser tag in real life, though,” Gregory told the interviewer.
She barked a laugh. “Oh? Did you all play together?”
“The studio rented out the arena for several days. When we happened to finish filming there ahead of schedule, it simply made sense to put the remaining day to good use.” Freddy ducked his head a bit. “Gregory is correct, though—laser tag is not one of my strong suits.”
“The rest of us had played before,” Vanessa consoled him, reaching over Gregory to pat Freddy’s shoulder. “I hadn’t!” Gregory said.
“Yeah, but blasting robots during filming totally counts as practice!”
He stuck his tongue out at her, and she stuck hers out right back.
“And what about you, Gregory?” the interviewer said before they could escalate. “Did you have a favorite scene to film?”
He’d thought about it while Vanessa and Freddy answered, so he nodded, grinning wildly. Over Vanessa’s good-natured groan, he said, “The final boss battle between me and Vanessa and Will! I had a crowbar!” He mimed swinging it like a baseball bat.
Vanessa leaned forward. “He still has the crowbar,” she said in a faux whisper. “I don’t think anyone from the prop department is brave enough to try and take it back.”

Hi! I love your art, shadow of durge was amazing! I was just wondering how did Gortash react to the news of Durge’s “disappearance”?
Heeeeeeyyy!!!! so sorry for the late reply Anon😭 social life is a difficult thing....
thanks you so much for the compliment, that means a lot for me, and I'm happy you like my comic!
So, for answer your question, I think it broke Gortash's heart to discover that Durge was "killed" by Orin, a wild card he had warned Durge about,
and the worse is that he can't even avenge him, because the grand plan, the plan that Bane want, the legacy left by Durge need Orin as the chosen one of Bhaal, now that Durge is missing.
We must understand that it was the first real relationship Gortash and Durge ever had:
-Gortash is to manipulative and patronizing with others to had something healthy with 'normal people', - Durge killed every sex partners he ever had, never having a emotional connection this deep for fear of his father
They did work very good together, they felt free with each other, balanced, happy to not be alone again...but the negative thing is that they had a lot of emotions, and they repress a lot of traumatic shit that were meant to explose anyway.
they handled disastrously their first real fight, and it caused a crack in their relationship, and they couldn't mend it, because Durge got lobotomized and Gortash though him dead.
so, when the news of Durge death arrived to Gortash, it destabilize him, making him feel lost, destroyed all the plans they both had created, rule together, LIVE together.
the fragile love and hope they had begun to grow was rip away, leaving Gortash mourning what they had....but the plan must go on
...this is to important than one man, his god, his lost love demand it...

It's funny when people still say undertaker doesn't give a fuck about midfords,I mean their house didn't burn in the fire and their children didn't get abducted and they don't have a contract with the devil,so it makes sense that se we undertaker less concerned in them, also about campania I agree that he was a dick but maybe he knew that Sebastian won't let anything harm ciels fiance and family, in the end she is still Claudia's daughter and he called her a phantomhive for a certain reason
All the Phantomhives
He doesn't want to lose any more Phantomhives. Period. And he makes it very clear that he considers Francis to still be one, even though she got married. Her children are automatically included, I should think... but probably not Alexis. (Sorry, Alexis.)
Not only were the Midfords not targeted in that attack, but I think he considers Francis to be more like Cedric, more like himself, than Claudia. It's sad, in a way, because he might not fuss over her as much, but it also likely means he believes she's strong enough to pretty much fend for herself. And Edward, Lizzie and Alexis are no slouches -- especially Lizzie! I mean he let Lizzie go toe to toe with Sebastian, knowing full well what he is. And she was really holding her own until Sebastian caught her off guard. And we all know that Sebastian was surprised that Francis was able to catch up to him and even lay a hand on him at Weston. Not easy to do! These are formidable individuals.

Just so you know, Ra's Al Ghul refers to Dick as the 'Detective' in Nightwing vol. 2 #152.
I'm...a bit uncertain on that. Calling him that is only on the last page in an internal monologue that...I think is Ra's but am not 100% sure?
Tumblr media
Do you have any other instances of this? Just because him calling Bruce and Tim that is frequent enough that it was easy for me to catch.

Hey, Do you have any Chara headcanons?
So technically I already have a reblogged post of Chara headcanons. Right here, within the tags. (99+) Chara neutralist squad on Tumblr
However, I most certainly have not run out of things to talk about and so...
I now present Chara Dreemurr headcanons 2: Electric Boogaloo
1. Yes, so as I said before, they have been spotted reading the dictionary cover to cover multiple times and reads english grammar books for fun. It is like they have to use one word literally nobody understands at least once a day or they will figuratively die. And of course, they would be the one to say figuratively every single time they use a metaphor or hyperbole or turn of phrase and they would get genuinely annoyed with anyone who says literally when they don't literally mean literally. Chara is the kind of kid who if someone says "can I", they will say "I don't know, can you?" like an english teacher because it's supposed to be "may I" for allowances. And, Azzy, it's supposed to be "Chara and I" not "me and Chara" ...no-one cares.
2. Something vocabulary related is that Chara absolutely, categorically refuses to swear! Apparently, contradictory to popular belief given that they're an "edgy" character, they think they are far too intelligent, high-class and mature for such gauche and vulgar words (did I mention they're a loser yet?), you see, and they would definitely consider using words that mean almost nothing to be a grave insult to their extensive vocabulary.
This doesn't mean they don't have certain stock phrases they use as exclamations or insults, though, of course. "asshole" or "bitch" becomes "you complete and utter ingrate", "what the fuck/hell?" becomes "What on this good earth/What in the Angel's name?" and "fuck you" becomes "may the angel smite you dead" or "may you burn in hell forevermore" (except that since Chara Dreemurr has proved themselves able to dish out much, much worse insults than "may the angel..." (stuff like "you look horrible, why are you even alive" for example) this might just be more annoyance than genuine hatred.)
So basically, while a normal person might say "Ow! Fuck!" when they stub their toe on something, Chara "Sesquipedalian loquaciousness" Dreemurr starts up an anime villain speech at nothing in particular while Asriel giggles and possibly records in the background. (Because of Asriel's apparent love for anime, he'd probably find his sibling's way of speaking to be the coolest thing ever as well as thinking it makes Chara some sort of uber-genius (note: it does not))
3. Okay so, since they tend to fixate on being impeccable in every way, even for the smallest of things, they can get embarrassed very easily and...very dramatically. Not finding the best word for every situation (particularly if they end up saying something wrong), not getting a perfect score on the test, anyone (who isn't the Dreemurrs) seeing them when their appearance is anything less than completely spotless.
They shall freeze and go completely blood red, they shall squeal and run off to their room. They will lie face down, not making a sound, and stay there for...hours. They will not respond, they will not be consoled. They have recently learnt they're not literally the best at everything ever and no, nothing will ever be okay again.
...They'll be back to normal within a day, though, boastful and eager to impress as ever. I think at some point they do learn that maybe not being perfect isn't the end of the world...eventually. Anyway, heard someone saying that hell exists for Flowey and it is minor inconveniences and that is true but hell also exists for Chara and it is minor embarrassments.
(Yes, I am aware this is very exaggerated, it's just more fun that way)
They have an equally dramatic, though positive, reaction to praise and compliments. Giddily skipping around and smiling ear to ear for hours, they tend to preen and straighten up, and it turns out they were lying and can cry, (a lot) just not out of sadness or fear. Though, they do get somewhat good at downplaying how much they care in front of acquaintances or strangers (even if they are nice and polite about it). Technically, only the Dreemurrs are allowed to know that Chara feels emotions.
(Also they have the same reaction to realising they are in fact the prophesied angel in the murder run, despite not being a praiseworthy accomplishment in any way, they're just happy to be, well...special. They always knew the prophecy was about them! Of course they were the angel, they're the best person in the world after all, finally they have the title they always deserved! Oh dear...)

Do you have any creative influences? I'm always so impressed by your work— your prose especially— and I need to know if there's any creators out there I need to file away in the creative influence database in my head so I can write like you
This question took all day of me searching and thinking because I can't really say I know who or what's influenced me right off the top of my head. With notable exceptions that bookend this post. Anyway, here you go!
@.teshamerkel 's PMD Seekers of Soul was my TPiaG before I found TPiaG. It helped me through a part of my life that, looking back, was a lot harder than I thought it was. While it didn't move me to the point of starting to make my own art again, I certainly did consider it. And I consider Seekers of Soul to be a must-read for any PMD fanfic enthusiasts.
Tui T. Southerland's Wings of Fire series is the first thing I can remember thinking of fanfiction for. I never did write any of it, mostly because I never felt motivated enough (and partially because it was was all just oc x canon). But even with my misgivings of the series and how bungled the overall theme of arc 2 was with how they defeated the big bad, book 6 is still one of my favorite books of all time.
All of @.saltnpepperbunny 's work is really good, and definitely had an influence!
PMD Victory Fire holds a very special place in my heart for being excellent story, incredible artwork (that I think was done in MS paint), and being one of the first pmd things I consumed besides the games. Even if its on indefinite hiatus, I still consider it to be a must-read for even people outside of the PMD sphere. I would go into more detail, but I don't want to spoil anything!
I also consider Cucumber Quest to be a must-read. I dont have much to say besides that it's genuinely amazing and that you should read it the first chance you get.
Obligatory Avatar The Last Airbender mention. It's shocking to me how the worst that show got was just a mediocre episode in the first season. (The great divide) I genuinely think the entire series should be put in museums or something because it is an enormous accomplishment in the field of storytelling in general.
Scoob And Shag goes from a silly, foul-mouthed joke comic, to... not a joke comic. I would love to gush about it, but I fear that doing so would spoil it. Check it out. Even if its just for the (frankly absurd) glow up in the artistic style and quality. I normally advise going into things as blind as possible, but I would recommend checking the TV tropes page to know what kinda stuff you're in for once you reach around episode 20~30 and then seeing if it's something you would be interested in. It's very good, but definitely not for everyone.
... I thiiiiink that's it for people and content I can point to and know that they've influenced me off the top of my head. (Aside from one massive exception at the end of this post) The rest of this is just kinda a list of content and creators I really enjoy and highly recommend checking out at some point. Even If I can't really tell just how much of an effect it's had on me.
First, videogames!
Despite how much of my time I spend playing videogames, the only few I can point to are:
Celeste
Undertale
Undertale Yellow
Deltarune
Stardew Valley
and Hades. (I recommend Hades the most)
Despite how much I love the series, I haven't actually played any PMD games. (At least, in any official sense.) I am working towards getting them though!
Next, Youtubers:
• Atastic's animations are fantastic! I don't have much to say beyond that they are really good and fun.
• Bumbles McFumbles is a rare example of a person who is equally entertaining while talking about something he likes, as he is while talking about something he doesn't like. He's got an excellent sense of comedic flow and timing. He's part of the reason why my humor is the way it is.
• Doodley is an animator that makes videos on animation principles and is also just generally entertaining while also educational.
• Eltorro64rus makes all of his absurdist, extremely smooth animations in Gmod. Which is endlessly impressive if you know that Gmod is a game first, and an animation software like, 6th. The humor is very much an acquired taste though.
• FutureCanoe has such a funny, dry sense of comedy that it almost makes you forget that he's a cooking youtuber who somehow makes all of his food look like it was poisoned before, during and after cooking.
• GildedGuy is such a cool animator that he got his stickman OC in fortnite! And all his animations are gorgeous masterpieces, that too.
• Krugston is an animator that is constantly experimenting with his style. He went from a generic storytime animator to, in my opinion, one of the most unique and creative animators on the platform.
• Neytirix is an animated youtuber, but describing her videos really difficult because of just how unique they are. My best shot at it would probably be: "horror storytime animator and artist, with overarching plot between videos"
• Overly Sarcastic Productions has an entire, multi-hour long playlist of videos on different tropes. And within those is writing advice. While there are a couple of things that I remember disagreeing with, (even though I can't remember specifically what. probably just opinions on certain shows' quality) The general advise they give can be a big help. (They also do history lessons, and while I don't care for those as much, there is definitely appeal behind them)
• MajorLink doesn't have a large amount of videos, but he does have a fan animated series of The Legend Of Zelda. One with a total runtime reaching just over two hours at this point, with more on the way!
• ScottTheWoz is up there with Jerma as one of the most experimental, consistently funny, and creative e-celebs on their respective platforms. One of the few YouTubers that you would have to watch his videos in chronological order to understand all of the jokes. But even lacking context behind all of the injokes and references is fine because he writes jokes with the knowledge that someone might be watching it for the first time. 'Great Gaming Mysteries', followed by 'The Trial' would be my favorite youtube video of all time if they weren't separate.
• Wendigoon's videos are equal parts entertaining, and disturbing. They also are consistently over the 1 hour mark, so they also make for pretty good background noise material if you want to hear a guy talk for hours.
• Yahya Danboos has several videos showcasing his process of making an ambitious 3d hack-n-slash as a solo dev. It's pretty informative on the process of making a 3d game.
Next is TV shows!
This one is even shorter than videogames since the amount of time I spend searching for shows to watch, and watching youtube videos on said shows, outweighs the amount of time I spend actually watching the shows.
But I can fully recomend these shows though!
Centaurworld
Amphibia
Gravity Falls
Adventure Time
The Owl House
Next up, Webcomics!
All of the following are in no specific order. If I don't say anything, it's not because it's worse, but because saying "it's really dang good and you should check it out" for every entry can get exhausting.
All of these can be found on ComicFury.
PMD: Taken Place
Pokémon Abridgestery Dungeon
PMD: Milos From Home
PMD: On Borrowed Time
PMD: Terminus
PMD: Another Perspective
PMD: The Human Connection
PMD: Rangers Of Sky
PMD: The Rouge Team
Autumn In Sinnoh
Jet's Black Nuzlocke
Last Light
Soul Food
Endurance: In Our Blood
Laika's Comet
The-Heart-Of-A-Monster
Vagabond Sonic
All of the following I found on Webtoons, some I know arent on just webtoons, but I do know that they're all on there.
Lil' Char and Gang
Suitor Armor
Vampire Husband
City Of Blank
The Greatest Estate Developer (genuinely the funniest webtoon ive ever read)
The Last Dimension
Hand Jumper
Spontaneous World Shifting (my favorite out of all of these in the webtoons section)
Magic School Girl: Spare No Villains
Loving Reaper (my beloved)
TRIPTRACK
Spellward Bound
Marionetta
Zodiac Parade
Of Swamp and Sea
Jupiter Men
Vibe Check!
CARL
Next is the various Tumblrinas I follow. (Not tagging them because i feel like it'd be wierd.)
@.cringywhitedragon and @.ghetsis both come up with really cool idea's that are partially responsible for the things I come up with.
@.efplanning Makes some cool art and is also cooking up a really cool universe that I'm excited to see.
@.obogaboo is making PMD: Taken Place and is also just a really good artist.
@.teeterarting Author of The Rouge Team and also makes really lovely art
@.aimer-arts 's art is adorable and wonderful and beautiful and I love it.
Same goes for @.quikyu
Same goes for @.sunsnak
Same goes for @.pichiicake
Same goes for @.pikabata
Same goes for @.chufflepop
Same goes for @.honeycrud
Same goes for @.honrupi-art
Same goes for @.cryptid-creations
Same goes for @.dailyralsei
Same goes for @.bugblast
@.zeropro Is the author of Jet's Black Nuzlocke, and also makes some great art on the side!
@.fwugradiation makes some cool music I think. He hasn't posted it a while though.
@.spicymochi makes cute art that I wanna buy stickers of in the future.
@.advosart 's riolu gives me life.
And now for the grand finale! The person who's my greatest creative influence:
It's @sincerely-sofie
You asked me for my biggest creative influences, but it seems to me, from what I think is implied in that ask you sent, didn't realize that I wouldn't even be here if it weren't for you. I doubt I ever would have gotten started even writing things if it weren't for the things that you make and your constant, uplifting encouragement.
While all of these other things I've outlined in this post did have an impact, and those ones at the start had more of an impact as i might not have thought of before, they all are barely quantifiable compared to just how much of an impact your own stuff has had on my creative expression. It's your stuff that got me to begin creatively expressing after all!
You say you like my Prose, but I actually think that it sounds closest to yours than anyone elses, if we assume that my own personality isnt a factor.
It's genuinely impossible to thank you enough for how much of a positive impact you've had on me.
:)

Oh goodness, 84 + David x Patrick, pleeeeease.
Unbeta’d and written while watching Taskmaster.
The prompt is: the key was under the mat.
++
The rain pounds against David and, most notably, against the phone he’d just accidentally flung into a puddle, his umbrella reduced to a metal stick with the inside-out nylon acting as a flag of surrender.
But Alexis’s brownstone is around the corner—allegedly, because she is the worst with directions—and if he can make it one more New York block, he can make it anywhere. Or whatever that cliche is.
Finally arriving at her steps, he’s forced to root around under the soggy mat which reads: Where Everybody Counts, over a drawing of a calculator. Maybe Alexis liked the font, or something, because it’s truly unfortunate and not at all her vibe.
“We are taking a side trip to IKEA if it kills us,” David announces to the mat and the stoop at large.
He finally locates the key, opens the door, and proceeds to walk directly into a damp, curly-haired man wearing only a pair of dark rinse mid-range denim.
“Well well well, Alexis didn’t tell me she had company.” David surveys the pale sparse hair scattered over the man’s chest, probably doing nothing to hide his leer. At first glance, the stranger is firm and compact and not overly muscular, but he’s not hard to look at, either. Big eyes, big hands, oh, hello, big feet too. “I’m David.”
“I’m Patrick,” he responds, hands planted on his hips, eyes questioning. “Who is Alexis?”
David thought Alexis was past the days of not giving her real name to conquests but New York bars are loud and—wait, Alexis is dating Twyla and it’s fairly serious. David looks around, conjuring up what he’s seen on FaceTime when he and Alexis talk.
He recognizes nothing. No Alexis Rose Communication placards, no floral arrangements, no framed photographs. Everything here is brown and blue and grey, muted.
Patrick, currently half-naked and puzzled, nudges toward the table in his entryway, his hand resting near a large candle that he probably plans to bludgeon David about the head with, in self-defense.
“The key was under the mat!” David shouts, protecting his wet hair and precious skull with his forearms. “Please don’t murder me for breaking and entering because, not to nitpick, it was primarily entering.”
“Not to nitpick either but I think the crime you’re committing might be trespassing. Granted, I am not a lawyer, so don’t quote me.”
“Are you a killer?” David slowly lowers one arm.
“Not lately?” Patrick has a nice voice and a straight nose and eyelashes that belong on a Disney princess, so it’s a shame that David might get arrested soon. Another time, another place…
“What if I just slowly back away and we pretend that my sister isn’t an idiot with directions and that I am dry, first and foremost, and that this—“ David gestures between them to encompass the incident, “—this never happened.”
“I don’t think so.” Patrick picks up the cell phone that sits next to the bludgeoning candle and starts to unlock it.
“Or!” David is an excellent negotiator, he can make this work. “Or, can I ask for a one minute head start on the cops? I do not do well with running.”
Patrick’s face changes then, from puzzled to bemused to something that looks like snark, which is blatantly unfair when David is trying desperately to appease him. But then the snark softens, and it catches David off-guard, as geared up as he was for a fight. Or at least a banter. “In the interest of keeping you out of the clink and away from strenuous cardiovascular activities, what if I don’t call the police and instead, call your sister.”
David’s mouth falls open. Is he being propositioned? Is this a sex thing? Should he appalled? Excited? “What for?”
“To help you find her. Since she doesn’t live here.” Patrick seems to be reconsidering his offer, but instead he cocks his head and wiggles his phone in David’s direction. “Or you could call her.”
David accepts Patrick’s phone and dials Alexis’s number. Of course she doesn’t answer, because she has no regard whatsoever for his safety, or his propensity to involve himself in embarrassing situations. He leaves a tense, rambling message that may or may not begin, hi David, this is Alexis, and hangs up with his face burning. “I swear I have a sister, that wasn’t just a line.”
“Sure.” Patrick is back to amused. David is getting tired of not looking at Patrick’s bare chest, so he just brazenly stares at his left nipple for a second to center himself. “Everyone who breaks in here says that.”
“It’s trespassing!” David says to the nipple and Patrick’s phone rings just as Patrick is responding, almost assuredly with something biting.
It’s Alexis, thank fuck, and he gets the correct address and a promise that she will not tell anyone this story for any reason, not even upon threat of death. Or in his inevitable unauthorized biography.
During the conversation, Patrick wanders away to put on a shirt, which is unfortunate, but the turn gives David an opportunity to see the curve of ass under the mid-range jeans, and he’s momentarily mesmerized.
When David hangs up, Patrick is back in a pale blue button-up and brown Oxford shoes. A curl hangs down his forehead and David suddenly wishes they’d met in a bar, or at a gallery, and not as part of his new life of crime.
“Everything good then?” Patrick asks, not taking back the phone that David is trying to hand him. “You have the address? Is it close? I have an umbrella you can borrow, if you want.”
This is too much niceness now, and it makes David nervous. Maybe there’s still time for murder. Who murders who does not matter at this point. “Why?”
“So you don’t get wet?”
David nods in such rapid succession he’s worried his head will roll right off. “Okay, that does make sense now.”
“Or…or I could walk you there in the interest of keeping you from trespassing at my neighbors’ homes, and take you for a cup of coffee. Or something stronger.” Patrick smiles and it’s even brighter than David expects. It’s like turning on a light in a dark room and the impact warms David from his head to his toes. “It’s for everyone’s safety, really, since there seems to be a burglar on the loose.”
“The key was under the mat!”
“Yes, that part was on me.” Patrick grins again, then reaches for his phone so his hand grazes David’s. David wouldn’t call it lightning, but there is a buzz of electricity. “So, up for a walk?”
“Is the umbrella still invited?”
Patrick takes a long handled golf umbrella out of a stand in the corner and hands it to David with a hopeful look on his face. David accepts.
It ends up taking David and Patrick six hours and one slow, sweet kiss goodnight to walk across the street to Alexis’s apartment, trespassing forgiven.

I really hate the yen press official translation, like the fan translations are much better in my opinion, the yen press one is very formal and wierd
Why would informal be better? 🤨
The big issue I see with fan translations is they have a higher tendency of being just plain wrong. And that's happened quite a few times. Example under the cut.
Like this scene, from ch13. Here's the licensed Yen Press version:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And here's a fan translation that's made its rounds online:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There have been times where the fans might have done a better job, but this is not one of those times. The Yen Press version is far superior, at least in this instance.
There's no way that Undertaker would have said he wants our earl to hang by the "collar" he wears as queen's watchdog. And if he had wanted that, he wouldn't follow up by saying that's boring... or that his duties are boring... oh, but come back if something happens. If it were what he wanted, he would find it entertaining. And he wouldn't be so eager to help again... if he'd rather see the kid hang.
It's much more interesting (and telling) that he doesn't want to see our earl hang by that "collar" -- especially not to hang himself -- and amusing that he'd make the pun "gravely disappointing". This lends itself to discussions about why reapers are reapers... and why Undertaker would care enough to not have our earl kill himself or get himself killed while performing his duties to the queen... whom Undertaker doesn't like onnnne biiiiiit. Even "praying" it doesn't happen. It gives off "we are related" vibes, to me! At least we later have Undertaker saying he doesn't want to lose any more Phantomhives, so wanting our earl to die makes no sense, even if they aren't related (though I think they are).
The licensed translation does have the occasional mistake, but overall it's much more consistent and correct.
If you just want an easy read and don't give a flying fuck about accuracy, go ahead and stick with the fan translations.
But if you want to get into discussing theories or actually understanding the story... read the licensed editions.
