Nightstuck Poppet!!
(au belongs to @bunnyspine) I honestly adore the whole concept and vibe of this au, and I could not resist putting my funny jack-in-the-box-jester in some pjs and throwing them into a world of existential horrors!!!
I thought about Poppet and their box becoming like a little hiding spot for Wally, since Poppet would be difficult for Home to access unless the box is wound and opened! Though I suppose it's dangerous to be stationary when a Prowling Puppet is after you... Regardless, Wally seems so lonely, so if he can sneak past Sally, perhaps Poppet can keep him company!
Mini-comic: "HIDE"
I wonder who wound the box?
Extra stuff under the cut :DD

Been updating and doing some design work on Aym and Baal because I wasn't 100% satisfied with the first version of their designs.
I'm a lot happier with these ideas hehe...
Aym:
Scarred, fluffier then his twin, and moody like the phases of the moon, he is very reserved and rough around the edges. He doesn't get along well with just about anyone and he is primarily active at night. He doesn't trust easily and acts as Narinder's right hand, the executioner.
Baal:
Calm, collected, and extremely charismatic, just like the sun, she lights up any space she's in, drawing people in with an almost magnetic pull. He is easy to get along with and carries himself with a sense of pride and control. She is outwardly very easy to talk to and acts as Narinder's left hand, the judge.
Together, the twins are the test and deliverance of their God. People spill secrets to one and receive the consequences from the other.
They were given to Narinder as kits and grew under his guidance, molded into the perfect guardians. Bound to Narinder in eternal servitude by the contract engraved into their backs and deeply devoted to him.
Unbeknownst to them, they are the children of Forneus and Paean, a demon who infiltrated Narinder's followers and fell for the gentleness of Forneus, vanishing into the night before his kits were born. Because of their lineage, the twins were born with an affinity for the moon and sun respectively, growing into the vessels of their aspect.
Even after the fall of Narinder from his power and their integration into the Cult of the Lamb, the twins still retain their powers and their devotion to Narinder, though they now have to discover who they are outside of that connection. A long and arduous journey, neither are particularly keen on taking.

My brother recently got into Demon Slayer so I wanted to make a kny oc for him since I did it before with both me and my sister and never got around to my brother :)
But I started by refreshing my own design because wow?? It’s been 4 years since I first made my kny insert character and a lot of things are now outdated! Not to mention my art has improved a lot, I hope. More details under the cut!
Meet Ebisu Koharu: youngest of the Ebisu family and physically the weakest. They only barely passed Final Selection by hiding for the entire week and surviving off tips from their older siblings. Nonetheless, they still want to contribute, which is why they hold onto a thick, leather bound book that records every demon they’ve ever met in precise detail, with labeled diagrams and scribbled calculations in the margins of different strengths and weaknesses.
After spending a few years on the job, and properly seeing their data contribute to the successes of other demon slayers, they’ve come a bit more into their own as a competent researcher and fighter, though they still do tend to request paired missions with friends and family to act more as a support role rather than a fighter.
The Ebisu family is one of scholars. The eldest daughter Kaoru is a doctor, and the eldest son Shougen is a chemist. By nature, fighting is not necessarily their strong suit, which is why their family breathing style and techniques are all poison-assisted. Of the three, Koharu is the weakest and most averse to combat— they wield a short half-length blade, with more of a smooth ceremonial hilt and sheath than any practical weapon.

hi tumblr I am, as many people are, going fucking insane over the silly little vampire man. I was encouraged to post some thoughts I had about him so uh here you go!!
Pre-vampire Astarion had a different kind of style. Different color preferences, clothing, patterns, hair.
Game era Astarion got off the nautiloid like that - which means we can assume he got taken like that - which means we can assume that’s not a style he’s chosen himself but a visual identity he’s been forced into for 200 years that he hasn’t yet found the ability to change
Even when he kills Cazador. There’s not a Shadowheart-esque moment of changing his appearance to reflect his development even though his appearance can be tied even more to the trauma he’s trying to overcome than Shadowheart’s can
Because he’s spent so long not able to be his own person. Not allowed to find his own tastes. There isn’t some identity lurking beneath the facade, waiting to break forth. Cazador broke him down, hollowed him out, made sure there was nothing except what Cazador wanted him to be
So some time post-game.. it starts slowly. He changes his hairstyle first. His family (they are still alive, they’re elves, fight me about it) tries to lay out clothes for him that used to suit his tastes but he doesn’t feel right putting them on it. It’s not the same kind of performative that Cazador demanded from him, but it feels performative all the same. He goes shopping around, he strays from anything similar to what he would have worn during the Cazador era or during his lifetime. For a while it’s anything that catches his eye, trying out whatever he realizes he likes. Sometimes it ends up a little silly. But eventually he does settle into his preferences. Finally something uniquely him, who he’s become and what he’s decided to like.
The symbolic change of a character’s visual design, but it takes years, maybe even decades
