I don’t think any have an angsty ending?? I definitely planned to have a few, but chickened out lolll. I’d like to write some with an angsty ending though, it’s something I enjoy reading in general

All of them probably hdhdhdh, usually my fics all end in similar ways 🥴

Almost everything I’ve written contains smut loll. Usually it’s quite feelings oriented/first time sleeping together kinda smut? Though some of it is purely just horny self indulgence 🫡

Uhhh, I don’t know if I have an all time favourite ship?? Usually I just latch onto a few ships in a fandom until I eventually bounce into different one. I mean Destiel will always have a place in my heart, purely bc it’s the first fandom related ship I properly got into??? And how feral I was over it in my early teens lol. But I’ve not read any spn fanfic or really interacted with the community in yearssss so 🤷🏻‍♂️ Right now though my favourite ship is probably Chreon or Metaltango??

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

Uhhhh I have Serennedy fic I started writing in May last year that I kinda gave up on lol. It was my very first attempt at writing an RE fic when I first got consumed with the rot™️ The plot was just Luis turning up at Leon’s door in the middle of the night bc people were after him

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I write emotions well?? I’ve also been told I describe stuff well!! Which is very kind. People have also said they like my characterisations!

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

I’m gonna try and not be too hard on myself lol. I think I reuse a lot of specific phrases and words? I also always tend to end fics in similar ways, which i’d quite like to break out of

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

Personally I think it’s quite a commitment if you don’t know the language well, because Google translate can only get you so far. But if you wanna do it then do it 🫡

I decided to write this "preview" to chapter 3 cos I was inspired.

Life went back to normal. It was as if that evening didn't happen. Jaemin went back to being the best friend he always had been, and Y/N went back to well, being Y/N.

But she was frustrated. She wanted him badly. She wasn't even fucking Lucas any more. All she wanted was Jaemin.

One evening, unable to take it anymore, she went into his room, determined to lay out all her cards on the table with him. But he was gaming and didn't want to talk.

"If not now, then when?" she asked, exasperated.

"Soon." he said. "Be patient."

Yet again, a few days later, she tried to broach the subject. But they were interrupted by Jeno and Renjun coming home.

Finally, one Saturday morning, he came to her room.

"Are you free for dinner tonight?" he asked. She nodded, trying to look like she didn't care.

"Pizza?" she asked, assuming they'd go to their usual joint.

"No. Somewhere else." he said. "We're going on a date."

"Where?" she demanded to know. She hated surprises.

"You'll find out." he smiled mysteriously. She wanted to slap the smirk off his face.

She spent the whole day wondering what to wear. She tried on a few different outfits. But nothing seemed to work. The problem was, she had no clue where they were going. Finally she stormed over to Jaemin's room.

"If you don't tell me where we're going, how do i know what to wear?" she asked.

Jaemin let out a chuckle.

"Well, looks like I decide what you wear then." he said, grabbing her by the shoulders and walking them both to her room. Y/N sighed, opening up her closet doors.

Jaemin looked through a couple of items. Finally he pulled out a casual red dress.

"This looks nice, and comfy." he said.

She was impressed. Frankly, it was a good choice. Casual but not too casual, the material was comfortable and she looked good in it. in fact it was one of her favourite dresses.

"It's your favourite dress." he muttered. Y/N stiffened. He noticed.

"Where's your underwear drawer?" he asked.

"What?"

"Remember, I decide what you wear." he smirked.

Y/N wondered what she had gotten herself into, but she didn't dislike it. She opened up her drawer. He started looking through her bras, eventually choosing a black lacy one.

"This." he said. "Wear this."

"Fine." Y/N rolled her eyes. "What about my panties, what do you want me to wear?"

Jaemin let out a laugh.

"Nothing." he said. "No panties when you're out on a date with me."

"Are you crazy Na Jaemin? I'm not going to do that."

"Fine. We won't go out then." he shrugged.

Y/N folded her arms, biting her lips.

"Well?" he asked.

"Fine!" she said. "I hate you!"

"No you don't. You fucking love me." Jaemin grinned.

"Why are you doing this?" Y/N asked. "Why can't we just fuck like normal people?"

Jaemin moved closer to her, his nose almost bumping into hers.

"Because, there's nothing normal about you Y/N." he smiled. "In fact, I'd say you're extraordinary. And for that, you deserve to be treated extraordinarily."

"And that involves you controlling me?" she asked, flickng her finger against his forehead. He yelped.

She saw the irritation rise in his eyes.

"What now? You gonna spank me again?" she asked, smirking.

"See? This is why I know you're just dying to be controlled." he said. "You will pay for it tonight. Trust me."

"I can't wait, Na Jaemin."

He smirked. "Let's leave at 6. It's a long drive. We'll take my car."

Y/N was impressed. Jaemin had driven them out of town, to a lesser known area, up a hill, to watch the sunset. He had brought a mat with him and a basket with her favourite snacks and beers.

As the sun set, he took her in his arms, kissing her tenderly on her forehead and cheeks. They were slightly buzzy from the beer, and very giggly. Whatever it was, Jaemin the control freak dom was nowhere in sight.

"What took you so long to decide?" she asked.

"I was afraid." he admitted, cupping her face. "That it'd affect our friendship."

"We'll always be friends." she promised.

"But I want more." he said.

"Yeah, well, it's just sex, so what?" she asked.

"For goodness sake, Y/N!" he rolled his eyes. "Do i have to literally spell it out for you? I want you to be my girlfriend, not my fuck buddy. I've always fucking loved you, you idiot!"

Y/N froze. She wasn't expecting that. She did always think he would make a good boyfriend. But she never thought he would be interested in pursuing anything with her of all people. Not when he was so hot. And she was just... her.

"Why me?" she asked.

"Why not?" he was getting exasperated. "When are you ever going to see how precious you are?"

"Never." she said, sighing. "You can have any girl..."

"Y/N, I want you. You and nobody else. Can't you see?"

She burst into giggles. He smiled.

"I love the way you laugh." he said, kissing her lips. They felt warm, and she opened her mouth slightly, letting his tongue in. He leaned over her, and she layed down on her back, their kisses getting more passionate.

Suddenly he pulled away. "No," he said, bolting up.

"What?" her eyes grew huge, the feeling of annoyance overtaking her. She sat up too.

"You have not told me if you'd be my girlfriend." he pouted.

she softened.

"You never properly asked." she whispered.

"Y/N, I love you. Will you be my girl?" he asked, twinkle in his eye.

"Yes, Mr Na. I'll be your bratty girl." she grinned.

"I like that." he grinned, hugging her tightly.

"Great," she said. "Can we for goodness sake fuck now?"

yes! i will try to respond to every comment, as i really appreciate that someone has taken the time to share their thoughts. you have no idea how happy you make me (although, admittedly, i can take a while if i fall behind -- i  have replied to some  people over 200 days late hkjhjhk, but i genuinely like replying to comments and have actually made some good friends through comments/replying

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

i don’t do unhappy endings. some of them can be bittersweet, i guess, like heroes and lullabies or been here before , but the only stories that have ended on a properly angsty note are ones that are part of a series, so i don’t thikn that really counts

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

i don’t know to be honest. i have written a lot of humour and fluff

Do you write crossovers? If yes, what’s the craziest thing you’ve written?

my first fanfic was actually this awful harry potter/final fantasy crossover. i mean it was awful. i deleted it because it made me cringe so much hjkhjkhk. These days i just write the odd au stuff set in another world, like Marinette and the Moving Castle (hmc au)

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

hkjhkhjkhk yes. a lot. most of them make me laugh (especially the essay-length rants), but there have been times where i’ve been genuinely frustrated. still, for other writers who have to deal with this kind of thing, just remember that the 1 or so % who hate on your fics are just that -- a small number of people. they really aren’t worth your time

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

i have in the past - more emotional and not super graphic -- but i deleted those fics because it’s just not my thing at the end of the day and i don’t want to read or write that kind of stuff anymore

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

yep. back on good old FFN. it was rubbish as well so i don’t know why the person bothered hkjhkjhk

Have you ever had a fic translated?

quite a few. i am forever surprised and flattered that people have taken the time to translate my fics, because i know it’s not easy. never mind all those words -- it’s just super hard to get the right meaning or effect across when translating, but these people take the time to do that as a hobby. you’re all amazing and deserve way more recognition in fandoms

Have you ever co-written a fic?

i did start an atla one with @cabbage-foam  but i think we’d both agree we’re never going to update that one again 😅. Otherwise, i’m working on two idiots and a hamster with @carpisuns (and it’s lots of fun)

What’s your all time favourite ship?

at the moment it’s lovesquare, but i actually really love Nalu (fairy tail). I’ve just never done anything fandom-related for them

What’s a WIP you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

doctor tsurugi wants a day off. it’s a lukagami sherlock au and was supposed to be a fun slice of life kind of thing, but i never ended up getting past chapter 1. i just set it as complete because i don’t think i’ll ever find the energy to do anything with it. But @masilvi did this amazing art for it, which i love so, so much, and i wish i could keep working on this fic if only to do justice to the art lol 

What’s your writing strengths?

 hmmm, i care a lot about the flow and readability for my writing -- i want it to be as accessible as possible -- so my writing is pretty concise. i try not to waste words and (i hope you’ll agree) i have a good balance between dialogue, introspection, and description. Humour comes easily to me, and i think i’m pretty good at getting emotion across

What’s your writing weaknesses?

i could be better at my wording when it comes to description -- i feel like i use the same phrases a lot and i wish i could be more creative hkjhkjhk. romance is also difficult for me, mostly because i’m aroace and will just straight up cringe and ahte what i’m writing lol. But also i just don’t really understand physical attraction, so all of my leads probably end up feeling ace-coded, even if i don’t mean them to be 😂

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in fic?

i don’t do it because, if the setting is based in a language that isn’t my native language or the one i’m writing in, it’s already suggested they’re speaking in that other language anyway. Plus, not everyone will know those words or phrases, etc, so it’s kind of unfair and distracting in a way. This is actually happened to me as a reader. the author had a wee translator note at the end of the chapter, but i still spent that whole chapter just being like wtf does that mean

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

harry potter. i still laugh when i think about how i stumbled across fanfiction, not knowing what it was, and being so confused why the “leaked” sections were written in hermione’s point of view

What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

ahhhh i don’t know. i have a huge soft spot for zuko’s tiny dilemma and more than (yes, the rednana month fic hkjhkjhk), but i’m terrible at choosing favourites. each of them are special to me in their own way

Yeah I try to always respond to comments. As a reader I always love it when an author responds to my comment so I like to try and pass that on. Also I’m here to make connections and conversating in the comments is one way to do that.

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

Uhhhh. Found Wanting  I guess. Not that it is really angst. Not that I’ve really done any angst for real. But that one is more open ended and ends at a point in time where Mickey is uncertain of the future and doesn’t know yet where they’ll end up, so that’s probably the closest.

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Um. Most of them, lol. Maybe gunpowder because it ends just before the engagement bar fight. But probably if you asked the readers they might say Song of the Hearth, because that is just a big ole bowl of fluff soup. 

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

No? I don’t know how I would do that. I feel like the shows I love are so distinctive in tone and so to mesh them together somehow I think is a thing that is beyond my abilities.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

No. I’ve actually been very lucky in my internet life to never receive hate from anyone about anything. 👀 (Cross fingers touch wood go outside turn around three times and spit)

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I have, in past fandom lives, written the occasional sexytimes scene. And one so far for shameless. Probably some more to come for Ristretto because it would be very difficult to write these boys falling in love (spoilers lol) without taking into account the fact that they were born horny.

Not to my knowledge.

I’ve been writing an email to a very dear friend for about six months, maybe that? I only have one WIP and I’m pretty certain I will finish it so...

15. What are your writing strengths?

Pffffff. From comments I get I’m gonna say humour and pinning down a character’s voice. I used to think that I was pretty good at lyrical prose type writing but then I showed up here and read many very beautiful words from a bunch of different authors and I no longer think that I am good at that lmao.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Plot. You guys. How do you do it? I am trying to push myself with Ristretto because that requires plot development but boy oh boy it does not come naturally to me. Also I get fixated on words and phrases and then overuse them. Also. Commas. Also endings. I hate endings.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Um, seems great to me? If done right and translated properly. I think it can be a really useful tool to highlight character beats, to keep an oblivious character in the dark for a moment longer, to add depth and authenticity to a character who speaks another language. I’m for it.

19. What’s a fandom/ship you haven’t written for yet but want to?

I don’t know. I feel like when I want to write for a fandom I do? Like out of nowhere when I watched Enola I was just like, I’m gonna write a little something, and I did and then I moved on completely. So I don’t have anything I’m sitting around thinking about writing for and not doing it.

yes!!! always!!!! no matter what u comment, i will respond!!! and if i don't, it's probably cause ao3 didn't notify me properly or i didn't see it in my inbox or something

as for why, it's mostly to do with like...i know how hard it can be for some people to comment, even just a bunch of heart emojis or a 'i loved this!' or something short and simple? and it means a lot to me that ppl are going out of their way to say something nice, no matter how small, and it's really really important to me to acknowledge that

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

hmm,,,,,this is a hard one, cause for a very long time, my policy was that my fic would always have a happy ending? and for a long time, that was true!! but the dabihawks interaction (during the raid) broke me, and from an emotional standpoint, i think freeing icarus (x) is probably the one that has the angstiest ending of the two or so that i wrote in that time?

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

u know i really haven't written any crossovers? it's normally not my thing cause my brain typically focuses on a single thing and doesn't really have the capacity to think about more than that, so i end up writing just au-style or fusion-style (shoutout to that one bnha but it was scooby doo fic i wrote - x)

i don't think i'd be opposed to writing a crossover but i'd have to be SUPER inspired by the idea and both fandoms lmao

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

aha yes, i have. the only straight up hate i've received was on a kaeluc fic (surprisingly not because it was kaeluc, but bc i was 'mistreating' kaeya in the fic) - to be entirely fair, the commenter pointed out something that i hadn't realized myself, and it led to a second piece of the story that helped me tie up some loose ends, but...let's just say they weren't very kind about their feelings lmao

other than that, i had someone very upset because i didn't tag which character was bottoming in a fic (valid if that bugs u!) and they read through most of it before getting to the smut (and said that they enjoyed everything up to that point) then said they were 'disgusted' by it. i have opinions on that and a few other comments they made, but i will keep them to myself lmao

and beyond that, just a few ppl on my xiaoven fic saying that they were unhappy about the background kaeluc (which is tagged lmao) - really no hate whatsoever til genshin, honestly, which is...very hmmmm :) lmao

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

yep!!! mostly vanilla or vanilla-adjacent lmao i'm not super into heavy kink, although i know if epi reads this she's gonna call me out for being a monsterfucker bc of my dragon!zhongli smut :) lmaoooo but really i tend to write pretty vanilla smut! i also prefer to avoid any noncon/dubcon or hate sex or anything particularly angsty, just not my jam to write!

Have you ever had a fic stolen?

hmm i don't think so? although i don't heavily monitor ao3 (or wattpad/ffn), so i can't really say that for sure lmao

Have you ever had a fic translated?

yes!!! i've had a few fics translated to russian (little bird is one of them!) which is very sweet and i hope that anyone who prefers to read in russian has been enjoying those fics!!

Have you ever co-written a fic before?

alksdfjklsdf only once, and it's deadass how me and rose got together. we decided to co-write a podcast au fic for the phandom (x) and ended up flirting via google docs asldkfjkldsfj

What’s your all time favourite ship?

what a horrible question, making me choose between my children like this!!!! sdlfkjdskf tbh i'm not sure i have a real answer bc it changes as i go? and 'favorite' is so vague,,,,,favorite to read? to write about? to think about? asdklfjkjsdfk i really don't know if i have an answer, but i'll maybe say kaeluc for now lmao

What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

well first and foremost, with only 2 exceptions, i never post a fic unless it's done. i tend to follow wherever my passion leads my brain, so i'm notorious for jumping around between stories and taking breaks from long fic and returning later on to finish them, and i know that i would not do well under the pressure of posting something unfinished and trying to finish it in a timely manner

that said, many wips sit in my google doc folder, but one is Well Known as the one that has followed me through both the phandom and bnha (rose keeps asking who i'm gonna switch the chars to in genshin, but i think it suits bakudeku too well to do that) - only the lonely survive. it sits at like 36k in my wip folder, and i adore the story dearly and i want very much to finish it, but it never makes it quite to the forefront of my motivation, and so it rarely if ever gets worked on...i hate the idea of 'never' finishing it, but it's unfortunately quite likely that i won't 😭😭😭

What are your writing strengths?

emotion!!! and immersion!!! it's my goal in a fic to make it as immersive as possible and saturated with emotion to help convey that feeling of being in the place of the pov character, and i think i do it pretty well. also just bc i feel a little obligated to say it - another strength is actually sitting down and putting words down. i know that's a struggle for a lot of writers and i often get,,,,lovingly bullied? i guess? lmao for being able to bash out a few k in a day most days

What are your writing weaknesses?

this isn't so much a weakness i guess but i am basically incapable of treating crack fic as crack. if i have a cracky idea, it will, without a doubt, end up turning into a Perfectly Serious fic somehow (notable 'crack treated so seriously that it's no longer crack' fics include: todoroki doing the freeze-the-ocean thing from frozen 2, 'shmigaraki', todo and denki get together bc of vine references, the league sells feet pics, shiggy and natsu own a nightclub/bakery, scooby doo but make it bnha, and dabi getting his ears pierced at claire's)

but in all seriousness, i think my main weakness is that i often get comfortable? and i'm not one to typically push myself forcefully out of my comfort zone when it comes to stories that i come up with on my own, which often means that ideas inspired by discussions with others are what prompt me to branch out and try new things?

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

i think, like anything, it has its place? there are certainly stories where it makes sense to do that and even adds depth to a story, although i personally am not exceptionally comfortable enough with other languages (except maybe asl) to do that in fic myself without the assistance of someone very comfortable with that language lmao

again, forcing me to choose between my children...i really don't know that i can pick one fic bc they all exist in such wildly different spaces? i poured my worldbuilding soul into the king of disaster series (mainly dabihawks - x), exile (dan and phil - x) was my first massively long fic, our hearts are heavy burdens we shouldn't have to bear alone (chayea - x) is probably my favorite character/character dynamic study, i'm exceptionally proud of the smut in chosen (zhongchi - x), the list goes on and on and on lmao like. i could probably list half my fics as favorites in some regard dsflkjdfsjkl

Do you respond to comments, why or why not? 

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. I love comments, I really do, but my brain is often lacking in brain-juice and responding to all of them consistently is a real challenge I struggle with. Just know that I read your comment and squee’d over it, I assure you.

What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? 

A Wretched Ark, tied with The Endless Abyss. But AWA takes the cake by far, I guess. I’ll write the sequel eventually, guys!

What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending? 

Terminarch, probably. I think. I mean I like to think all my endings are either bittersweet or happy, but Terminarch’s the softest of the bunch, so probably that one. 

Do you write crossovers? if so, what is the craziest one you’ve written? 

I wrote a star trek x who crossover as a half-joke a few years back. But the one I really want to write is a Warhammer40k x Doctor Who shitpost fic. That probably qualifies.

Have you ever received hate on a fic? 

Nope. I mean, not really. Aside from that one guy who came in with unsolicited opinions about Nine and leather jackets in Leather and Iron but that wasn’t really hate, and it helped me reflect more on my fic. Everyone else has been a grade-A champ.

Do you write smut? if so, what kind? No. I don’t write smut unless the planets have aligned properly, which they haven’t in about half a decade.

Oh also I have a foolproof strategy for using the sonic screwdriver that I need to write a metapost about. That, I’m good at.

What are your writing weaknesses?

 You know that one scene where everyone is just being a boring asshole and you just want to fucking move on to the part where we get to participate in a dinosaur jousting match but no we gotta work out our fucking feelings for ten thousand fucking words first?

I hate that shit. I’m so bad at that shit. I usually slam a line break in because I hate that shit so much. My rule of thumb: if I’m getting bored, the reader probably is too. 

Also, I do this dumb thing with dialogue that I literally can’t explain in words but rest assured I know it’s there and it annoys the christ out of me.

Oh also I’m really bad at being patient enough to properly comb over each fic for mistatakes because I’m in such a rush to get the damn thing out the door. ADHD brain be like that, man.

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

All for it, when I can finagle some translating help from someone! Thank you @bird-of-paradox. Uebersetzungschaltung would have been a trainwreck of bad grammar without your help.

I would like to invoke my right to remain silent on account of my past works being crispy-fried cringe that deserved to be thrown into a volcano.

This list is bookended by two PWPs, which I find hilarious given that I seem to have misplaced my smut brain cell sometime in the last couple of months.

On The Matter of Traffic Violations (Good Omens, E)

“Officer Fell,” Crowley says, and leans forward, enough to give Fell a good view of his décolletage. He tilts his head in the way he knows people find deliciously coquettish, glad that he’d had the foresight to apply some mascara before heading out. “I’m so very sorry about this,” he says, looking up at the officer through his lashes. “It’s late, you know, no cars around… Didn’t notice how fast I was going, that’s all.”

Unbinding (Critical Role, T)

This is a great honor, Essek reminds himself, trying not to recoil as fingers run through his hair, working through the tangles. A braid is made of three strands, symbolizing the inextricable bond between the soul, the den, and the Luxon. A recognition of an achievement by the drow who bears it. With each braid, the soul is bound ever closer to its den and to the Luxon.

It is a lesson Essek learned long ago, but one he is never permitted to forget.

Harriet notices that there’s a crack of light at the end of the hallway coming from the door to the library, and her mood brightens considerably. Perhaps the tutors are still here, putting together their lessons for the next day before they leave for the night. She leans down to pick up a piece of cloth that’s fallen on the rug. Her breath catches in her throat when she realizes what it is – a necktie with a familiar tartan pattern.

She nearly drops the tie in shock at the unmistakable sound coming from the closed door of the library. A sharp, quickly stifled moan.

5) Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I try. I really do. My friends (and maybe some of my readers) know that this is difficult for me, mainly because any sort of recognition reduces me to a gibbering pile of tears. I’m working on it though, even if it does take me a million years to respond to anything on AO3. 

6) What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

God, which one do I choose. I have been referred to as an angst gremlin for a very good reason. I’m gonna go with The Remains of the Day, a Good Omens fairy tale AU I wrote loosely based on Bluebeard.  

7) Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I HAVE. I wrote philtatos, a crossover of Good Omens and The Iliad/The Song of Achilles. It’s the only crossover I’ve ever written, unless we’re counting Variations of an Arrangement, which could loosely count as a crossover of the book/radio/TV versions of Good Omens.

8) Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I have not. And hopefully never will.

9) Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I do, and it’s usually of the angst with a happy ending variety.

Steve Rogers/Bucky Barnes was actually the first ship I ever really got into, and they’ll always have a special place in my heart even if I never wrote anything for that fandom. Crowley/Aziraphale from Good Omens of course, and more recently Caleb Widogast/Essek Thelyss from Critical Role.

14) What’s a WIP you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Variations of an Arrangement. I loved writing it, and I still want to finish it one day, but it took a lot of brainpower to write and keep track of the plot and I feel like it’s beyond me, at least right now.

15) What are your writing strengths?

I… hmm. Judging by the way people are always yelling at me in their comments, I guess it’s that I can write stories that make people feel things very deeply.

16) What are your writing weaknesses?

I repeat words so often, it’s embarrassing. I use too many “-ly” adverbs. Also, I find myself using the same turns of phrase across several fics lmao.

17) What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Language is a tricky thing. I don’t want to bore you with discourse. I try not to write dialogue in a different language (especially if it’s not one I speak myself) unless it’s absolutely called for, or if they’re just basic phrases and I’m 100% certain I won’t be getting it wrong. I have read fics where this was done very well though, and I’ve found that it really adds to the atmosphere in those cases.

18) What was the first fandom you wrote for?

It was for this old anime called Princess Tutu. I danced ballet when I was younger and loved it so much – I believe I was only twelve at the time?? But I think the fic may still be floating around on FF.net somewhere.

19) What’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

I wrote philtatos in a four-day fever dream. It’s not the most technically perfect fic I’ve ever written or anything like that, but I think it’s the one that reveals the most about who I am as a person. That is an incredibly cheesy thing to say, I know. I always joke that posting that fic felt like offering my still-beating heart on a silver platter to the void, but there you are.

For Critical Role, surprisingly enough it’s this ficlet I wrote called sinners, a small bite of Shadowdrei where I was parsing my ideas on Astrid and Eadwulf’s dynamic and where they stood when it came to Bren/Caleb and Essek. I didn’t realize how fully formed my thoughts were until I wrote that. Fascinating what your own writing will show you about the things that are in your mind.

Summary : 3 months after Ashley spoke to Amelia, thats how long its been, 3 months in captivity, by mid august her and two others from her unit were save, while recovering in medical, she takes Amelia’s advice - she finally reaches out to her brother

She’s laid up on a gurney, injuries healing, fluids being given, blood is drawn after she was knocked out. Now she was awake, they had 24 hours of observation to get the go-ahead to fly out to the San Diego base to receive further treatment at the base hospital there, then go under the psychological profiling, and then a physical evaluation before being allowed to continue their jobs. 

3 months ago, Gunnery Sergeant Cole, Staff Sergeant Sawyer, and Sergeant Clarkes were taken into captivity after the rest of their unit were killed in an ambush. 3 months of hell on Earth, trying to find ways to get out, or get a message to someone, when another Unit found them and get them back to base.

Which is how they all ended up in the middle of the medical wing. Cole and Clarkes had contacted their family, while Ashley was toying with the idea of reaching out to her brother. 3 months put a lot of things into perspective for her.

 “Fuck, Amelia was right” she grumbled, opening the computer in front of her, and began typing, her mind was all over the place, but one thing she knew she needed to do was to apologize for her actions and anything she did to cause pain. 

At least if she reached out she could say she did, she didn’t expect a response, but she had played her conversation with Amelia over and over in her mind, forcing herself to survive to get home, promising herself to try and fix things. 

“What are you doing over there Sawyer?” Cole asked 

“Writing.”

“To who?”

“My brother” she responded, never looking away from a screen, continuing to type away at the incoming disaster. She could hear shuffling towards her. 

“No mention of family in your file,” Cole said, looking at her, watching as her hands moved across the keyboard, hearing a thump, they watched as their medic walked into a wall and burst into giggles. 

“Yeah well, there wasn't any point in mentioning him Gunny” Ashley responded, “Remember how I said I joined because a family member was hurt?”, stopping to look up at her superior. 

Cole nodded. “Yeah, what are you gonna tell me a tragic backstory?” he asked, laughing at the thought.

“Brother was blown up in 2005, maybe 6 can’t remember, but I was 16. Left the hospital and found out what I needed and joined 2008, he’s Navy, Navy SEALs to be exact” she muttered, resuming her typing. 

“Ah, so the baddest of badasses. Gotcha” Cole smirked, as she shook her head. “Maybe you’ll take me up on that offer of drinks and dinner.” 

“No. You’ve been trying for what? 8-9 years to get me to go out with you, not happening, I don’t date. Focus on the job and that's it.” Ashley said, hitting send 

“You need a life outside of work, and you realize it's about 5 am over there?” Cole frowned

“Well, I doubt he will read it anyway.” 

Ashley, settled down, sleeping for a few hours. She was woken up by a nurse to check her wounds, she read over what she sent. “WHY DID NOBODY STOP ME,” she shouted.

 Cole laughed “You were pretty determined.” 

“I started it off with ‘Sorry to disappoint but I'm very much alive Mark!’” Ashley said gesturing to the screen 

“I mean, humor.” 

She didn’t see the message saying that her email had been opened.

Sorry to disappoint, I'm very much ALIVE. I can hear you now ‘That's not something to joke about Ashley’, yeah I know, just makes it easier. You probably don’t want me calling you T. so I won’t. I'm currently out in Baghdad, with another month of deployment left, then off to another base stateside. Not much going on out here, got me thinking about something someone said, over the past few months, and it ate away at me. I hate when people are right. Amelia was right, that I should have done this ages ago.

(As I am writing this, I just watched Craig walk into a wall, he’s on some good pain meds, our medic is high as a kite. Giggling like a child now.)

Let me begin with, I’m sorry for what I did in 2012, it was a stupid fight, I shouldn’t have said the things I did, I am sorry, I regret it, have done everyday, always expecting a call from Mom saying I was to attend your funeral, that thought terrifies me (Always had, especially after your injury).

I’m not expecting you to respond. Pretend this never came in for all I care, but I need you to know this.

Look the things I said to you Trent was uncalled for, there were times earlier on that I wanted to contact you, but I knew I’d either end up with your wife snapping at me for reaching out or radio silence from you, then mom told me you guys split and I didn’t reach out because, well, I thought I’d just make the wound worse, no point in doing that, don't go pouring salt into an open wound right?

(Can you believe my damn Gunny is still tryna get me to go out on a date with him? I made it clear for the past 8-9 years the answer is No. I’m thinking about punching him.)

Guess I don’t need to worry about you as much anymore if you got people, always say that family doesn’t end in blood, those who help you will be there for you. I caused you a shitload of hassle growing up, then with the fight. Sorry about that. Don’t think I’ll ever stop being sorry about that. Sorry about any hurt I caused, it wasn’t fair on you at all.

I mean, Bravo is a tight unit; one word from Hayes, or your CO and it’d be my career on the line for even picking a fight or posing as a threat to a member of your weird little family there (Please get your CO some time off, he looks like he's about to have a nervous breakdown). It was easier to keep in the shadows.

You look like you're doing well, like you got the people in your life that care and worry for you, so that was good to well see and hear, which means I don’t gotta keep an eye out for trouble you get into. Looks like you're dating again as well, she seems nice (Let her know she was right, honestly, I am not happy about her being right.). You seem super happy which is good to see. 

Perhaps we could meet up when I’m back in about 2 months, I got to do a month in San Diego before going back home to Virginia. (For context for why I’ll be out in San Diego, the unit was ambushed, 3 months ago, there were 3 of us to survive, we got found yesterday, which puts life into perspective. Got psych evals and physical evals to do after healing. I fought, they don’t like fighters, man, they hate ‘em.) 

We could grab a drink and catch up, or uh… just check on each other once a month. I’m not looking for you to want to, you know, repair our messed up as hell relationship or reconnect. I know that ship sailed a year after we never contacted each other, again my fault. I'm sorry about it, sorry about all the pain caused. 

Who the hell am I kidding? I’ll send this and never get a response, you can’t fix something that is so broken. Remember what dad would tell us, “if it's unrepairable leave it”, that's what I did to our relationship. I miss having my brother in my life, miss being able to talk to you. currently the iowa trilogy, which is a shame because i adore that idea with all my heart. but as i started writing it i realised that the first fic would have to be so much longer than i was prepared for if i wanted it to hit properly, and i couldn’t decide on whether to make it corey/joey or not, or whether to gender swap joey or not. then i started writing for the bc fandom, and joey died, so picking up the fic again feels wrong at the moment.

also given that ‘sink into me’ is pretty much being made up as i go, there will probably come a day when i abandon it. joel/damiano just isn’t a ship i’m especially into anymore, though i do really want to continue it. i like the story and they’re not the only couple in the fic

idk but probably either the angst i write (the comfort is something i’m still awkward with lmao) but i do get a lot of compliments on my descriptions of things too, so maybe that.

writing comfort and declarations of love. they’re just so awkward. and keeping up steam for multi chapter fics (hence why i have carefully plotted out the stupid vampire fic for when i sit down to properly write it)

it depends how it’s done. and when it’s little one word things like terms of affection it’s cute. not something brave enough to try though.

the first ever was probably like. st trinians or something when i was like thirteen. or for the book ‘the thirteen curses’ because i used to love that book. both are unpublished because i wasn’t online at the time. the first rpf i wrote was mcr (also never published), for ao3 was slipknot on another acc, and the first on this acc was murderdolls

‘i contemplated your lips…’ holds a special place in my heart as the first fic i posted here, and whilst there are things i would have written differently, i still love it.

‘i’ll tear you apart’ wasn’t the first dark fic i wrote but it was the darkest (perhaps still now even with murder channel) and i still love it when i read back over it.

‘sick devotion’ was super fun to write, even if it’s my least read fic

‘timebomb’ is another one i’m super proud of

‘blood stained valentine’ was so much fun to write, and reading back over it is another joy

Gravity Falls and The Hobbit are up there in the 20s, but I also write for Star Trek occasionally. I dabbled in FFXV a few years ago and that was fun. Got a long fic there I gotta finish someday.

What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

Do you respond to comments, why or why not?

I try. Sometimes just with a quick “thanks.” but if people ask questions I try to answer. Most of the time. Sometimes I get overwhelmed and just. Don’t.

What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?

For which fandom >.> For Gravity Falls it is The Guttering Candlelight of a Tired Soul and for Tolkien it is Someone to Stand Beside You. Fair warning, both of these contain Major Character Death

Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you've written?

Sometimes. The craziest one would probably be Clawthorne, Pines, and Associate: Running From the Law just because it’s silly. XD

Have you ever received hate on a fic?

*cracks knuckles* so. Imagine you’re 13. You just poured your heart and soul into your first fic that you were truly proud of. You post it on Ye Olde FFnet. Within hours you get your first comment and it says “Goodness, terrible.”

and then the rest of the flames start pouring in, calling a character you didn’t even create, that was from a video game, a mary sue. Saying you need to clearly reread tolkien’s works because you don’t know what you’re talking about. To “do more research”. There are nine reviews on that work and I remember the hateful words clearly. I stopped writing for almost 8 years.

So yes. I have received hate. It was Really Bad. 

Do you write smut? If so what kind?

Abso-fucking-lutely. I write a lot of self-insert for Gravity Falls, but I also like writing everything else >.>

I’m a chronic multishipper buuuut my first favorite ship was Faramir and Eowyn, to the point that it influenced my own wedding. Blue and silver stars my beloved

What's a WIP that you want to finish but don't think you ever will?

I hate to say this about any of my WIPs but I have a bunch of half finished Star Trek and Gravity Falls stuff laying around that has a beginning and an end and no middle and I hate it.

What are your writing strengths?

Smut. I wish I was kidding but I can crank out 5k of smut no problem. As me to write 5k of anything else and I suffer. It’s the internal dialogue and the sensory descriptions for me.

What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to skip big emotional bits to get to the next plot point and then have to go add it back in. Also having to fight the voice of my high school lit teacher telling me to “dollarize” words and never start sentences with the same word twice and avoid cliches. 

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

As long as I can translate it properly, little snippets is fine, but any substantial dialogue should be in the primary fic language just for ease of access.

What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Johnny Tremaine. I dictated it to my mom and she typed it out on her electric typewriter. I was like... 8.

What's your favorite fic you've written?

Gosh, that’s hard. I have a lot of favorites but I think I am most proud of how do i feel at the end of the day and Fortnight to Yuletide because they’re the longest things I have ever finished. That said, Packing Heat  makes me laugh uncontrollably for all that I am the one that wrote it XD.

Do you write crossovers? If so what’s the craziest one you’ve written? No.  But IF I do a fifth one, I’m bringing John Wick into it. lol

Have you ever received hate on a fic?:  It all started with this fourth one.  And people copying my shit (wattpad is a cess pool) and then OC hate (just stupid shit, like she isn’t good looking enough,  she’s mean to Tyler LMAO.  Just kill her off already.)  And then the haters went after my kid with special needs. So needless to say, yes. Yes I have received hate. 

Do you write smut? If so what kind? Yes. I do.  The couple is in an established long term relationship with kids and they get busy a lot. Everything from soft and loving to just hard core, ‘I hate you’ sex.  LOL

Have you ever had a fic stolen? Yes. I have.  I’ve had entire fics taken, paragraphs, plot outline (like how the characters started off in a relationship), whole chunks of dialogue taken word for word.

Have you ever had a fic translated? Yes.  But for CSI: NY. I believe it was Russian, French, and German.  Maybe Spanish too, but I can’t remember.

What’s your all-time favourite ship? Well, I only write the one, so for me it’s Tyler Rake/Esme Rake.  But for other writers, it’s hard to name! I love all their ships, to be quite honest.

What’s a WIP that you want to finish, but don’t think you ever will?

To be honest, I’ll be shocked if I finish the fourth one. Lack of motivation at the moment, the hate, not receiving feedback.  It drags you down. 

What are your writing strengths? What are your writing weaknesses?  I like to think character depth and relationships, and maybe even dialogue. IDK. You’d have to ask my readers.  My weaknesses? Well to me, everything. 

What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?  When I’ve used Bengali or Hindi, I have friends who speak them who help me write it properly lol

What was the first fandom you’ve written for? Well,  that I’ve put out there? CSI: NY.   But as a kid I used to write stuff based on shows and bands I liked.

0. Zero. Nada. Nothing. I enjoy reading on Ao3 A LOT. But i've never come around to actually publishing something there. I haven't published much of my writing in general.... The only ever fanfictions I've published are in german on the website fanfiction.de

Well... thats hard because I have published barrely more then 5 fics xD. But they would be:

You don't need eyes to see (Again: GERMAN!) its a SwanQueen (Once upon a time) Fanfiction where Regina Mills goes blind after an accident with old magic and Emma Swan helps her navigate her new life. I write that thing since 2015. It was my second fanfiction, and I am not sure if I'll ever finisht it xD

The Handmaiden .... another SwanQueen one. Smut... its just a huge excuse for flirtatious smut

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf ... more flirtatious SwanQueen Smut. I like that okay?

Lost and Abandoned ... SwanQueen Angst. Just Angst ... But I added a second chapter later ,that one could argue makes it Hurt/Comfort.

The Cerberus Agent ... I actually think its funny that that one is on this list. This is the first ever fanfiction I wrote, so it probably wasnt to shabby after all xD Its about Mass Effect (Miranda Lawson/FemShep) Tho I never finished it...

Oh Yes! To every single one! I am way to happy about any little form of feedback, to not respond! I love comments! And people who leave comments!

Oooof.... I don't think, I can answer that. None of my fics really have endings. I mostly write One Shots, where the ending is basically the beginning of a bigger story. And my bigger fanfictions never got finished.... so I'd say the smutty ones have the happiest endings? I mean GET THE GIRL, GIRL!

what’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending? Ohhh, Definitly "Lost and Abandoned!" The whole premise of that Two Shot was angst!

do you write crossovers? Yes, sometimes. But none of them are published and several of them are Hogwarts AUs.

have you ever received hate on a fic? Not from all the lovely internet peeps that read my stuff, but IRL I've gotten weird looks. No explicit hate tho, and I am thankful for that. Let's hope it stays that way <3

do you write smut? if so, what kind? ....... yes....... I love flirtatious banter and power dynamics. So The literal dagger to the throught kind mostly (tho the dagger is often of verbal form tho) ... hmm besides that, it's mostly romantic, fluff and pretty vanilla smut.

have you ever co-written a fic before? Yes. I mostly write together with another author. I only write One Shots alone. 95% of them aren't published tho xD

oooooooffff... I probably should say SwanQueen, as I've read and written the most about it... but my own Characters and DnD ships are growing on me far more by now.... for the purpose of this game tho, let's stick to SwanQueen

what’s a wip that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Definitly You don't need eyes to see. I hate leaving it in that constant unfinished state with publishing aroung 2 chapters a year... but I had no real plan for the story aside from some some scenes I've already written... and at this point, it's just a huge bundle of lose strings I can't even grasp properly. Also my writing style has changed so much over the course of this story, that I can't even bring myself to reread the early chapters.... I hate myself for letting it come to that....

what are your writing strengths?

Thats a mean question to ask... I don't think I have a particular strength. I like writing in metaphors and I've been told I am very good in describing scenes and the emotional states and thoughts of characters... So I guess, describing is a strength of me?

what are your writing weaknesses?

TIMESKIPS! DIALOG (besides flirtations) HAVING A F*CKING PLAN FOR A STORY! I almost exclusively write one shots alone, because I just can't think of a cohesive longer plot. I am in awe of every author who knows in the beginning how many chapters the story is probably gonna have and what roughly happens in every chapter. I SUCK AT THAT. I just start writing and stop when I think it's a nice cliffhanger. And the next chapter is picking up at that cliffhanger and ..... looking where the story carries me... that's the main reason why "You don't need eyes to see" is taking so long

what are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

Hmm... I've never written in another language than german. So I don't really have a thought on that. But I have some characters who speak fantasy made up languages, and it's really fun to write sentences and expressions that the other characters or the co author dont know. Especially if you teach them in character this made up language. So.... Its a pain in the ass to read, if you don't know the language but a lot of fun worldbuilding and dialog/character development wise in my opinion.

what was the first fandom you wrote for?

The game triology "Mass Effect" by BioWare. To this day, it's my favourite game. But I've only ever written and published one fic for that fandom, and it's not even finished.

what’s your favourite fic you’ve written?

Hands down The Handmaiden . I am thinking a lot about translating it into english, because I like it so much... but the Fandom for it is pretty dead I think....

Jungkook’s luck seemed to have run out. He couldn’t believe he injured his leg just before an important game. The game that if he didn’t play, he could lose an opportunity for a scholarship and sponsors. He was careless and now he’s got nothing to blame but himself. He had to get stitches for it, and the doctor said he needs to let it heal for weeks. But, Jungkook doesn’t have the time to wait for that, so he’s made up his mind to find his soulmate. Even though the soulmate culture is kinda odd, he’s willing to put up with it if that means he would be healed.

His girlfriend would probably hate him for it but they weren’t working out like they used to anyway. they were fighting most days now, and he wasn’t really sure anymore if he still loves her or he just loves the idea of her.

So, tomorrow he’s gonna go to that Jay dope guy who’s an acquaintance of his best friend Namjoon. Joon said that his crack dealer looking acquaintance could help Jungkook find his soulmate. Says, he’s selling some kind of drink to help someone find their soulmate in a dream. It sounds crackheady already, but Jungkook’s lazy and doesn’t know how to find his soulmate, so he’s willing to try everything easy to find her.

When Jungkook arrived at Jay Dope’s shop, albeit he had quite a hard time because of his leg, the first thing he noticed was the weird but sick figurines, the place looked hippy, but it smelled good. He was still waiting for this Jay Dope guy to show though, and he didn’t have to wait long as he appeared a few seconds coming from the back room.

“Hi, how may i help you?” The crack dealer looking guy said. “Uhh, my friend said I could buy a soulmate drink here?” Jungkook timidly said. “Oh, you’re looking for your soulmate…why? got sick of your girlfriend already?” Wtf. How did this guy even know he had a girlfriend? he’s such a creep.

“Um, how did you even know I had a girlfriend?” he asked, Jay dope just ignored his question. “I’m just gonna get it at the back, cos I keep it cool yk? in the fridge,” the weird guy said. He appeared a few seconds after. “That will be one happy memory please.” Jay dope says as he hands jungkook the drink. “Huh?” Jungkook asked. “You need to give me one of your happy memories, that’s the price I’m asking for the drink.” He said. Was he being serious right now? lmao, well if that’s really the payment he wants for the drink then so be it. “Uh, don’t you know it already? you seemed to know i have a girlfriend so-” Jungkook implied. “Well yes, but I need you to tell me and grant me permission to take it.” the guy said. “Oh, okay.” Jungkook agrees and tells the weird seller about that time when he got the scar on his left cheek, but he was still happy ‘cause he got to beat his older brother and won their bet. The winner would get to play on the computer all week.

Jungkook left the shop feeling a little disoriented, it seemed like he felt sad for some reason he didn’t know why? whatever, once he finds his soulmate, he’s sure he’ll be happy again. During the night, Jungkook took the drink out of his bag. He was gonna try and see if it was really effective, the can was color blue. And there were words written on it. They were: Good night, have a good dream. A dream is a wish your heart makes, whenever you’re fast asleep. You’ll find your soulmate, they will be the first person you’ll see.

What kind of crack is that? isn’t the 2nd line some lyrics from a disney song. fck, that drink better be real and effective though, because Jungkook’s head hurt after leaving that shop. He drank it and fell asleep soon after. And then he was dreaming, He was in their university, Having a class. But there was no one else, well except now. A girl just came in, she was kinda cute. Shit, is this what the drink’s talking about? Is she his soulmate? he went up to her and looked at her closely. he could see her face clearer now. Doe eyes and plump lips. Long lashes. A cute big nose just like his. But she doesn’t seem to notice him? he was quite frustrated. The classroom they were on was the room Jungkook used for his psychology class, so does it mean that they shared the same class too?

Well Jungkook was gonna find out soon anyway, tomorrow he’ll find you. Before the dream ended, you seem to have dropped your ID in the classroom and Jungkook saw your name. Y/N. great! if this isn’t some weird hallucination it’ll be easier to find you now.

“Well, did you find her? did the drink work I mean,” Namjoon asked, looking at his friend with concerned eyes. “Yes, I think it did. I saw a girl, her pretty features were so clear. her name’s Y/N and i think we share the same psychology class.”

“Wow. That shit hoseok gave you must’ve been some really expensive crack huh?” His bestfriend teased. “Hoseok? that’s Jay dope’s real name? whatever hyung, you were the one who recommended the guy to me in the 1st place. He seems legit though, even if he’s such a creep.” Jungkook retorted. “Anyway, I need to find y/n and if I’m correct she will be in our psychology class now. So, I’ll be going bye.” Jungkook said as he hopped away from his friend.

When he entered the classroom, the first thing his eyes focuses on is finding you. But maybe he was too early because you weren’t there yet. He was almost worried you were absent when he noticed your form entering the class, you took a seat in the middle and Jungkook decided he had to talk to you now. Seeing as the seat beside you was still empty, he went and sat next to you.

“Oh, i forgot to put some stuff there but my friend is coming, can you maybe transfer?” You said kindly to him, but immediately regretted it when you saw his injured leg. You just noticed it right now. “Um… It’s kind of hard for me to stand up right now, my leg’s kinda throbbing. Can I just sit next to you please?” Jungkook half lied, it was kinda true anyway his leg was being a pain in his dumb ass. “Oh, okay. I guess my friend can just sit at the back.” you meekly replied. “Y/N. your name’s y/n right?” He knows you? this popular jock knows you? “Yes, but how do you know me?” “I know you because I think you’re my soulmate.” He replied, shocking you. He must be joking right? how could you two be soulmates you both were so different? He was hot and you weren’t really that hot.

“Are you pranking me or something? cause I don’t have time for your jokes right now, mr.soccer player.” You retorted. “I’m not y/n, you need to believe me. I drank a soulmate finding drink and I dreamt about you. And I didn’t even know you, I didn’t even realize we shared the same class until today.” Well, at least he looked sincere when he confessed that to you. “Well, why did you want to find me anyway?” You asked. “Because I kinda wanna ask you for a favor. It’s about my leg…”

Is he gonna say what you think he’s gonna say, because you feel uncomfortable already. “Can you kiss me to heal me? I really need your help baby. I can’t afford to miss the game, my scholarship (and sponsors- but he didn’t say it) is on the line, my life depends on it. Please y/n…?” He pleaded. damn, you hate those big beautiful doe eyes- they were staring right through your soul. It didn’t help that he was so close to you now, you could smell his sweet scent, and you can’t deny how handsomer he is up close.

“Don’t call me baby, cause I’m not your baby.” You said though the pet name made your heart skip a little. “And don’t you have a girlfriend? what is she gonna feel when she finds out your kissing other girls? Also, I don’t even know you and I sure as hell won’t kiss a stranger. What if you just want to get in my pants? What if you’re a horny fck boy?” You said to him. “You say you don’t know me, but you knew I had a girlfriend? how did you know that then? were you interested in me?” He says and you’re completely caught off guard.

“As if. My friend told me, she likes to gossip about people.” you replied. “Well, Why don’t we get to know each other? Hi, my name’s Jeon Jungkook and I’m a soccer player. My girlfriend and I are having a rough time right now, but that doesn’t mean I’m a fckboy looking for chicks to pick up.” He says smiling stupidly at you. You already hate his smile.

“Hello, Jungkook. I’m y/n and I actually don’t fucking care. I’m sure you can wait a few weeks for your leg to heal, because I sure as hell won’t be kissing you.” You snapped at him. “Wtf. C'mon y/n don’t you have a heart? I could lose a scholarship opportunity here, If you help me, promise I’ll help you back when you’re sick. Namjoon even said that a soulmate’s kiss doesn’t only have amazing healing properties, but also luck.” He begged. Luck? well if that means winning the lottery, you could use some of that. You were broke too. anyway wasn’t he rich? why did he need a scholarship then?

“I need the scholarship cause my parents won’t pay for my tuition anymore. They didn’t like that I played soccer. They said I should’ve focused more on my education. But, I wanna play it’s my dream you know?” He said sadly, he looked so cute with a pout on his handsome face. And you were starting to get him. You wanna follow your dreams too, If you had one- because right now you didn’t even know what’s going on with your life.

“If I agree to help you, What about your girlfriend? Wait- why can’t we take a blood transfusion instead? I heard it has the same healing effect.” You suggested. “B-Blood transfusion? Idk, that seems more exhausting to me. What if you’re not healthy enough for a blood transfusion? And It would take up quite a lot of blood too. Doesn’t kissing seem a better option? I won’t owe you more?” He persuaded.

“I’m not really that comfortable with kissing you while you have a girlfriend, Jungkook. And maybe even if you didn’t have one too.” You confessed honestly. “I don’t wanna take advantage on you too, Y/N. But, I’m kinda afraid of needles and blood…” Oh. So that’s why he doesn’t wanna do a blood transfusion.

“Well, what are we gonna do? I wanna help you but idk if I can.” You sighed. “You’re really gonna help me now? that’s so great y/n! I could kiss you- oh. lol.” he squealed.

“You should just kiss him, you lucky whore.” A voice familiar to you said, it was from behind you. “Wtf Charlie? why are you eavesdropping on a personal conversation?” You glared at her. “Well, you two weren’t really being quiet about it, the whole class could hear you if they wanted too. Also, I’m just proving a point. Why don’t you just kiss mr. handsome here? It’s a win-win situation. He gets healed, and you both get your luck. Why are you hesitating so much anyway? You like kissing. Scratch that- you get off to it, it’s kinda your kink. Maybe because you’ve never been k-” You Interrupted her before she could say something even worse.

“Charlie you need to shut the fck up, before I fcking lose it and murder you right now.” You warned your friend looking at her right in the eye, You were annoyed at her talkativeness. “You have a kiss kink?” Jungkook’s cute dumb ass asked, you felt really embarrassed now. “No, I don’t. She’s just lying cause she wants me to make out with you and tell her the details after.” You lied, well half lied cause Charlie would probably want you to tell her the details after smooching with someone hot.

“I am not lying. Believe me soccer player, she’d die to kiss someone hot like you.” Charlie then winked at your hot soulmate. “That’s it. I’m sure you don’t mind if I tell yoongi you have a crush on him right now, I’m really gonna get up and talk to him now-” You stand up, moving as if to go to min yoongi’s whereabouts which you actually didn’t know. All you know was that he was a music major and he seemed cold to people in a hot kinda way, or more like hot for your friend kinda way.

“No! y/n wait please I’m so sorry! you’re a virgin and you’re lesbian. Sorry kook, I was lying.” She screamed. You sat back down, “Yeah, you better shut that mouth if you don’t want yoongi to know.” You smirked evilly at your friend. She just nodded submissively. “Um, y/n about us kissing? I could just tell my girlfriend and if she allows me, will you do it?” Jungkook said, you almost forgot about him. “Fine, but let me think about it for a bit too. (it’ll be my first kiss you know, she said in her head) If I do it, you’re really gonna owe me big time. And I’m not joking when I say I want a lifetime supply of Banana sundaes. At my fave icecream shop okay?”

“Sure. I’m a fan of sweet things too you know?” He said, you just smiled at him. We must really be soulmates then. The bell rang just then, your professor was absent but she left some activity for you guys to do, so that’s why you were able to converse freely and for a long time.

Well now that my girlfriend’s agreed, I gotta let y/n know so we could get on with it right away. I wanna be able to join our practices again and prepare for the game, it’s in 2 weeks. I still need to convince y/n more though, maybe I could ask her to eat icecream with me at her favourite place? yes, mayhaps that would work. I’m gonna text her since we had exchanged numbers before going home after that class the other day.

it’s funny but you couldn’t help that you kinda cared about your soulmate, he was cute and kind. And you did really want his leg to get better. You’re just anxious that you have to kiss him to do it. And you will have to get over it soon, because you need to help him. Hopefully things will turn out fine, and after this, your life will be the same old boring shit that it was- just like before.
