Just a reminder that:
Joey Batey has actively combated scenes, information, plots, details and lore being cut from the show by including it in his songs.
Joey Batey has been the lead songwriter and composer for all of Jaskier's music since the start of the show. That's three whole seasons worth of music so far. That's six years of writing and producing music.
Joey Batey has embodied Jaskier as bisexual since day one, and actively admitted to having to write over 7,000 words across multiple emails (excluding phone calls and in-person meetings) to fight against the choices the writers and runners were proposing for the 'reveal' scene(s) and future scenes.
Joey was one of the first people during the video interviews to praise Henry after the DeuxMoi smear campaign and has displayed nothing but respectful support for him amidst the chaos. He also did his best to imply that Henry hadn't been fired, despite the active rumors otherwise and the blanket ban on addressing actual details.
Joey filmed the Rience torture scene for over twelve consecutive hours despite being in pain and feeling nauseated and experiencing significant mental distress and being in freezing cold temperatures, outside, in the middle of winter.
Has, without fail, always supported his female co-stars and had nothing but good things to say about them. Has never sexualised them once or behaved inappropriately, and always ensures they get equal press coverage when doing group or duo events.
Read the books, played the games and asked Henry to help him prepare for and portray Jaskier as an accurate representation of Dandelion and Dandelion's personality and characteristics despite the show's shoddy writing.

If you didn't notice, tumblr rolled this shit out.
If you want to avoid your blog being used for AI scraping, toggle this option on as it's shown in the screenshot. You can find it in your blog settings on desktop (the very last one) and on mobile it should be under the visibility option.
If you have side blogs, you have to toggle this option on for every single blog for it to be effective on all of them.

I’m not going to say much about everything going on but I will say this. I’m not trying to dramapost, that’s why I turned reblogs off. I might reblog it once or twice but I’m posting this because it’s important to talk about and it’s important to me
I am an abuse victim of my parents. They have enough influence to ruin my life forever if I mess up and tell the wrong person. It is terrifying to know they have power over public/workplace perception and things like your income, housing, friends, basically your entire future
I’m not saying that’s one of the reasons she may not be speaking out about who it is but I just. Can understand to a certain level the feeling of wanting to tell people but not being able to. I don’t think I’d want people spreading speculation around that could potentially put me in danger /neu

how do you deal with top surgery scars?
I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm not eligible for peri/keyhole and it's making me veyy depressed about surgery. to make it very clear, I have nothing against di or top surgery scars in fact I've seen some amazing chests coming out of di. but I'm stealth, somewhat of a public figure (not gonna specify what I do but it has to do with media production) and in a town that's getting progressively more "woke". I believe most people around me can clock top surgery scars, and I know that if even one person in my audience finds out about it it will quickly spread like wildfire (it happened with another personal matter or mine that I wanted to keep hidden)
even though there are many reasons why a man has incision under his chest, a lot of people nowaday will always think about trans surgeries, and my problem is really that if one person knows, then everyone soon will you know?
don't get me wrong, I'd rather have scarring that write "I'm trans!" on my chest than what I already have, but i need to be stealth.
Well, the nice thing about scars is that they can be hidden pretty easily under clothes. I got some pretty massive scars from my surgery and I've never had anyone comment on them when I have clothes on. If they do manage to see the scars through my shirt, the scars honestly just look like muscle definition. I've gotten compliments on my 'muscles' instead of anyone asking if they are scars. Even without a shirt they sometimes look more like muscle definition.
Talk to your surgeon about what the scars will look like and if they can make it look a certain way. I know some scars are straight lines, but mine curve along where the bottom of my breasts used to be. I actually really like how they look.
You can also layer. A tank top with a collared shirt on top will hide scars really well. Sometimes shirts by themselves can still show outlines of scars, but with a tank top underneath I've never had an issue.
If you're in a position where you have to have your shirt off then there's a little bit less you can do. Besides swim shirts, you can get tattoos that cover the scars (wait until everything's healed first!!). There is also special ointment you can put on scars that are supposed to help them heal and become less noticeable. I never used any so I can't give any recommendations, but I've seen some people say they work really well.
Finally, scars look better with more time. They're gonna seem really big and noticeable when you first get the surgery, as well as several months afterwards. I'm about a year and a half since my top surgery and they're starting to fade for me a bit. It's interesting to watch. But I don't do anything special to them. If you give it time along with ointment you should (no guarantee) be able to have them fade and become a lot less noticeable.
If any of my followers have advice feel free to share. There are things you can do to help your scars, but a lot of it depends on your body's healing ability or how you wear your clothes. In the end, the surgery is well worth it for those who need it. Talk with your surgeon because they probably have tips too. Good luck!

Ngl i will be a bit sad if the twinsduo tag gets taken by Cellbit and Bagi...
Techno fanarts are a little scarce now (and you can guess why) so to place a well know duo like them with that name would completely erase Wilbur's and Techno's name from it...
I wont fight for something stupid like that, but idk, it feels like erasing Techno in some way and that shit hurts

Has anyone else has done a think piece on the fact that Graysen, who Elain thought was the love of her life, pretty much spat on her and told her she had a mate. That mate owned her now. She belonged to Lucien and didn’t get a say in it.
Maybe I’m giving Sarah too much credit but if that happened to me I would avoid the shit out of Lucien too.

Been seeing a lot of antis purposefully interacting with proshippers to insult them lately. Just now I looked through the notes on one post and saw this vicious anti calling someone everything they could think of and doubling down at every chance they got. I recommend you block them (@/slightlyoffcenterclock), as they are clearly here for a fight and won't listen to a word of what you might say to them, whether you try to explain yourself or insult them back.
They are not worth the fight, especially if all they can offer as an argument is call you names or make accusations based on a topic they don't know half of.
Hope everyone has a good one.
Edit: they deactivated.

I know this wasn’t the point of the comment, but: As a parent of kids who were very recently 0-3, I’m thrilled to tell you there’s actually tons of LGBTQ+ content in the 0-3 book publishing space these days. Some of it is fantastic. Check out Not Quite Narwhal for probably the best trans allegory I’ve ever seen in kids’ media and Avocado Asks for a heart-wrenchingly on-point allegory for being non-binary.
Yeah by saying children's books are real 100% unproblematic content I was thinking of books like "cows go moo moo dogs go woof woof" and alphabet books. But that's great to hear there are books teaching the youngest kids diversity and tolerance :)

Personal vent: I decided to try out bumble to make friends cuz I've been itching for people to hang out with. Been nice, I reconnected with a friend from high school. But I've also found a lot of people-- older than me which I find kinda sad-- have decided that their labels are way more important than their actual personalities.
I'll see "poly, ace, trans, part of a DID system" as their entire bio and I can't help but sigh. You're on this app to make friends and this is your chance to talk about yourself. I have no interest hanging out with someone solely because they're trans. That's just an added bonus since we can talk about similar struggles and accomplishments.
Alternatively, bios like "here some games I like, and pictures of my birds, and things that actively interest me" works so much more in your favor. I know some interests we share now. I can find questions to ask when the conversation gets to a stand still. We aren't close enough for me to care how you came to realize you're poly, but I can talk about a game we both like for hours even if we were just strangers before.
I'm not saying your labels aren't important to you. But when it comes to making friends your actual personality and interests are so much more helpful. And it frustrates me to constantly find these bios that are the equivalent of having a completely blank bio (which I almost prefer) since I don't have anything to actually talk to you about. I want to know WHO you are. Not what.

thinking about stuff...
if it weren't for one little thing we might've ended up as pro-radqueer/radqueers ourselves and pro-endos.
when we first discovered our system and entered the community we used the term stressgenic cuz we thought our trauma wasn't heavy enough to cause any form of c-ptsd.
ali used to listen to weight loss subliminals, that i know are far from actual transid stuff, but they are pretty much in the same community.
if we didn't do one teeny tiny thing.
