Ranking the Miracucast by how well they'd cope with receiving a phone call from Marinette at 3 in the morning

Marinette: No, she's not exempt from this. She was most likely already awake, and knows that regardless of circumstance if another her is calling something Serious is happening and she will deal with it accordingly. But she would not be happy about it. 4/10

Alya: This poor girl puts up with so many late night Marinette phone calls. She is exhausted. But she takes it like a champ and routinely provides the support Marinette needs. It ain't much, but it's honest work. Someone please help her. 9/10

Adrien: Yes. 10/10

Nino: I can see Nino being quite the morning person. He would answer the phone and thoughtfully listen to what's going on. Then he would have absolutely no idea how to proceed from there. If Marinette is just calling to get some more Miraculous Muscle that's great, but if it's a problem that needs more brainpower then there will be issues. 6/10

Chloe: She needs her beauty sleep. If Marinette were to interrupt that sleep, the phone is going out the window. Screaming will be involved. Of course, knowing Marinette, Ladybug or Chat Noir is standing right outside to catch said phone to use in conjunction with a Lucky Charm to beat a supervillain or something. Ladybug knows what she's doing by now. 1/10

Sabrina: Would answer the phone thinking it was Chloe. Would be surprised to hear Marinette's voice instead. Sabrina is always eager to please, and would try to help... but most likely that help involves getting Chloe to do something. We will honor your sacrifice, Sabrina. 4/10

Mylene: For some reason I can picture Mylene being Absolutely Down to help Marinette hide a body, and would have the bag and shovel ready right as she answers the phone. I don't have any explanation for this. I really don't. I just feel in my heart it's correct? Mylene doesn't *want* there to be corpses to bury, and would sigh in relief when Marinette confirms she's calling for other reasons. But like. This still feels right. 7/10

Ivan: I don't want to say Ivan sleeps like a rock, but I think he sleeps like a rock. Sorry Marinette, that phone is NOT being answered. 0/10

Rose: Has custom ringtones for all of her friends and catapults out of bed the moment she hears any of those ringtones. Rose will immediately do everything in her power to help any of her friends at any time of day or night. Because that's what friends do. When Marinette asks her to do something oddly specific, she will do it without question and will assume it's Adrien related. She may or may not be right. 8/10

Juleka: Was already awake. May or not be aware of the passage of time. Her ability to function probably increases as the sunlight disappears, if we're being honest, so Marinette will be unnerved by this significantly more cheerful Juleka. This may or may not have an adverse effect on whatever Marinette was planning. 8/10

Kim: He will answer the phone before fully waking up. He will agree to anything Marinette says. He will say "okay, I got it" and then Marinette will hang up and Kim will finish waking up and he will have no idea what he's supposed to be doing. 2/10

Max: Marinette will be very frustrated with Max's auto-responder. Max would be happy to help, but Marinette can't figure out how to navigate all the weird options ("If you need help, press 2, if you need help with aliens, press 3, if you need help with homework, press 4, and if you need help with-") so it'll probably be a half an hour before he realizes he's being called. 3/10

Alix: Before receiving the Rabbit Miraculous, she would answer the phone and provide assistance with copious amounts of sarcastic remarks. Now that she has the Rabbit Miraculous, she gets her significantly more well-rested future self to answer the phone instead. And provide assistance with copious amounts of sarcastic remarks. Alix/10

Nathaniel: While he may not be crushing on her anymore, Nath would still be very eager to help Marinette. Unfortunately he is probably very tired and operating with a less-than-even temper so there will be problems. 4/10

Lila: The entire situation would be hilarious. She would not expect a call from Marinette this early in the morning, and would engage in Death Note-style mental gymnastics to try and figure out Marinette's goal. Does she need help? Why is she calling me if she needs help? Does she need something from me? She knows I would never help her, right? Or is she expecting me to not help and is just calling to brag that I'm not needed? Or, wait, um- Add this to the fact that she's probably very tired and not fully awake means her brain would probably short-circuit and she'd end up helping Marinette out before her thought process can catch up. 5/10

Luka: Oh, Luka, you poor, poor, boy. Marinette is not the only one who comes to you for late night therapy. So many people seek out your assistance at odd times and places, and you will ALWAYS help. You can function, and you do your best, but internally you're just a regular guy who's trying REALLY REALLY HARD to be cool and dependable. You desperately need a break, Luka. But for now I'll give you the credit you deserve. 10/10

Kagami: Her mother keeps her on a very rigid sleep schedule, so naturally she jumps at the chance to be more of a rebel and help Marinette out. Things will get broken. Even if Marinette just wanted to ask Kagami a question, there will still be property damage. 6/10

Marc: There is absolutely no way that Marc can function at all at 3 in the morning. He has been up all night writing, sustained entirely by caffeine and hyperfixation. His brain is starting to collapse from the stress and he can no longer tell fiction from reality any more. He would still try to help Marinette if she called him, but she's learned by now to just let him sleep for the sake of his health. -5/10, but like in a good way

Ondine: Probably wakes up at around this time anyway depending on which sports season it is. She can help just fine, but since she and Marinette aren't that close the chance that Ondine can assist with anything really important is low. 5/10

Aurore:

"Marinette Dupain-Cheng? Why on earth are you calling me this early?" "I need help." "What? I barely know you!" "I'm going to blackmail Alec Cataldi." "...I'm listening."

Felix: Look you just know he has the weirdest sleep schedule. He's either basically dead to the world or fully functioning without issue. He will help Marinette, though he might need to be coerced. 7/10

Zoe: She will do literally anything that Marinette asks her to. Marinette will feel very guilty about this. 9/10

this is a little scenario I had in my head about him, so I decided to put it here. I don't know if this is really angst but I'm just gonna put it just in case. I'm sorry I've been gone for so long, here's my apology<3

"b-but I wanna help. why can't I help?" cat noir asks.

"well, we really don't need your cataclysm so" rena says as she makes a mirage of ladybug. she runs off, rena following the fake ladybug.

"well.... there's nothing I can do now. I feel useless now ladybugs the guardian of the miracle box." cat sighs.

cat felt useless like he said. since ladybug can temporarily give people miraculous's, there was almost no need for him anymore. cat goes off with no destination in mind. he just jumps around from roof to roof. rena said their plan didn't require cat noir, so he walks around for hours. he sees the miraculous ladybug fix everything and sighs. by the time he's tired of running, he jumps down onto a roof and sits down, not knowing he's waken up someone.

"what the fuck, who or what is on my roof?" I get up from my bed to see what the noise came from.

I see that familiar black cat costume with the matching ears coming from that blond head.

"cat?" I walk up behind him and sit down.

"o-oh I'm sorry. I landed too hard and probably woke you up. I'll leave." he stands up to leave. "no no no, I was already awake. I've just gotta ask, what are you doing here? shouldn't you be with ladybug?" I sit down next to him.

he sighs, debating on whether to tell you or not. "well..." he goes on.

"ladybug hasn't really been needing me the last few missions. she's been asking other people for help. and...." he takes a breath, holding in tears, "it makes me feel like she doesn't need me anymore. like she's tossed me to the curb. like today, nino got akumatized into the sentibubbler by shadow moth. I was all ready to come and help, but rena said they don't need me..." I see a single tear fall from his eyes.

"ladybug has missed a lot of our nightly patrols. I miss it. I miss saving akumatized villains, I miss our patrols around Paris, I miss...." he takes a breath, "I miss her."

I look at him and hold his hand. I see him look at my hand on his.

"I'm kinda in the same situation, cat. but that's for another day. I don't wanna put this on you. do you wanna come in? it's kinda cold out here." I ask.

"sure... it is a bit chilly" he stands up and follows me.

we walk through my back door into my room. my room is quite big with the couch so it won't be too cramped with both of us in here(I know this is a bit much but just work with me please).

"hey cat." I look at him. "what's up?" he tries to say without breaking his voice. I hold out my arms to invite him in a hug. he looks at me with sad eyes, tumbles into my arms and breaks down crying.

he cries for a good while and when he calms down he asks, "am I just not enough?" he whispers. "oh cat, of course you're enough. I can't tell you why she gives other people miraculous's. but I do know that you're a great hero to Paris."

"I am?" he looks up at me. "yes cat, you're the best hero i have ever seen." I reassure him.

"thank you, truly. I'm sorry I was so loud on your roof." he apologizes. "no no it's ok, I'm glad you were because I wouldn't have met you" he smiles at my words. I hear faint beeps as cat looks down at his ring. "shit, I gotta go. it was nice meeting you......?" he pauses, not knowing my name. "it's y/n. is there a name I can call you instead of cat?" he laughs a bit at my question, "call me whatever you come up with, i don't mind." he answers.

"it was nice meeting you, kitty," I take his hand before he leaves, "if you ever feel like this again or need to talk, I'm always free. come by anytime." I smile.

"of course, cutie. I wouldn't want to miss any opportunity to see you again." he kisses the back of my hand.

"I'm see you soon, kitty." I kiss his cheek. he smiled at my kiss and went out the window.

'i hope I see him again. he's pretty cute.' I say to myself. I go back to my bed and drift off into sleep, thinking about a certain cat in mind.

While Shady and Claw found out Hesperia's backstory pretty soon after joining the resistance, Chloe doesn't end up hearing about it and the Butterfly Miraculous until she's been with them for about three months. Her instant response?

"Yeah, sounds fake."

Which is a take absolutely no one was expecting, and Alya in particular takes exception to. "I beg your pardon, why, exactly, would Hesperia lie about that? His wife's death is public knowledge!"

"No, I believe that bit," Chloe waves a hand dismissively from where she's perched on a table she's not supposed to be sitting on (and which Claw is also lounging on), "But the rest doesn't make sense - if he could make a kamiko to heal sterility, why not make one that could just fix the Peacock?"

"Oh, he's actually told us that one!" Nino chimes in, "It's because Miraculous are really powerful already and it takes a lot of magic to effect them! So in order to make a kamiko strong enough, he'd have to kamikoize as Miraculous holder with a Miraculous at least on par with the Peacock or stronger!"

Chloe, fully filled in on the Miraculous power scale by now, "And the Miraculous that would qualify for that are...?"

Nino, listing off on his fingers, "Well the Butterfly's on the same level as the Peacock, but he can't Kamikoize himself, so that would leave the Turtle, the Fox, the Bee, the Ladybug, or the- ...Black Cat..."

Slowly Nino, Alya, Shady, and Claw's eyes all drift to where Hesperia is standing, while Chloe nods in satisfaction. "See? It's ridiculous! If he was telling the truth, he'd have asked one of us to help by now, and Shadybug and Claw Noir may be babies about kamikos, but I'm not!"

Claw, meanwhile, sits up, a slight threat to his movements. "Got something you wanna share with the class, Butterfly man?"

Hesperia, for his part, is looking shocked and has one hand to his forehead. "You're right, that's- why didn't I think of that sooner?"

"Because you've been busy reorganizing our plans to include the noobs and also training the noobs," Alya, ever-loyal second-in-command that she is, steps in, "Also, when was the last time you slept?"

"When do you sleep?" Nino adds, "Just, like, in general? You're doing this most nights and you have a day job."

Unfortunately for Hesperia, it genuinely takes him five minutes to remember that he has, in fact, slept in the past twenty-four hours. Well, fortunately in it convinces the skeptics that this really was something that just slipped his mind in the crush of everything else that's been happening, but unfortunately in that he's now got five teenagers judging him for having a crap sleep schedule, go home and get some sleep, fashion man, you're old.

Hesperia: (miffed) I'm not old, I'm forty-three.

The assortment of 14/15-year-olds: Oh gods, he's already halfway dead.

Long story short, Hesperia gets sent home for the night to get some sleep, and the next night he brings the Peacock with him, Shadybug gets kamikoized for the first time into Menderbug*, and the Peacock is finally fixed and safe to use again.

*(stares directly into the eyes of anyone reading this who has also played Hollow Knight)

Jack Harlow x Reader : THAT’S NOT MAMA!

Your husband had just texted you from his at home studio that the official trailer for his movie, White Men Can’t Jump, was out.

You had suggested watching it together in the living room, kids included, to see their reaction to their dad doing something else other than music.

“Ugh dad I was playing.” Ez says grumpily.

“You’ll go back soon, let’s just watch this real quick.” The four of you are sitting across the television.

You’re biting your nails due to nerves. He did warn you about some specific scenes, but you told him you understood.

“Ohhh daddy, is this your movie?” Mia asks, the trailer already playing.

“Yeah bug, this is it.” Jack tells her proudly.

“What is a white girl in Whole Foods?” Ez asks.

You and Jack share a laugh but continue watching it, the kids asking little questions here and there.

“Boo-boo juice that’s funny and looks nasty daddy.”

“Yeah I don’t wanna drink that. Yuck.” Ezequiel pretends to barf.

Mia gasps, “Daddy, that’s not nice.”

“What?”

“You making fun of his ears.”

“It’s part of the movie bug.” You tell her.

“Did you say sorry after?”

Jack nods, “I did princess.”

Once the trailer was over, you see Ezequiel whispering something in Mia’s ear. They both turn to look at Jack.

“Can we watch it again?” Mia asks him.

Of course Jack plays it again for them.

“STOP PAUSE.” Ez yells.

“What?” You ask him, getting worried.

“See Mia, there.” Ezequiel stands up and points to the television.

Mia stands up and walks towards her brother and they have a mini conversation you can’t hear. Both their little arms are making movements in the air.

Once they are done, they both turn to look at Jack and glare at him.

“W-what did I do?” He’s confused, looking at you then back at the kids.

“THAT.” Ez points. “NOT MOMMA. YOU IN BIG TROUBLE.”

“You can’t kiss other girls daddy, that’s bad bad, like really bad.” Mia tells him, her eyes are getting watery.

“Do you not love mommy?”

You cover your mouth with your hand, trying to muffle your laugh from the kids.

“What? Of course I love mommy.”

“Then why kiss other girl huh?” Ez asks him, his hands on his waist.

“It’s just a movie, little man, it’s fake.”

“Fake? I see it there, kissing her and laughing. It’s no funny.”

“Ezequiel, some movies or most movies aren’t real. It’s acting, you’ll understand more when you’re a bit older. But I promise you, I love your mommy.” Jack tries to reassure the kids.

“You okay momma?” Your sons come up to you, holding your hands.

You smile at him. “Yes my baby boy, I’m totally fine.”

“Okay.” He then walks to Jack. “Cool movie.” They fist bump and Ezequiel walks out the living room and back to the playroom.

Mia is standing by the television.

“You okay bug?” Jack asks her.

“You and mommy okay? You not moving houses like Nino Urby and Nina?”

“Oh baby.” Jack carries her to his chest. “I promise you, mommy and I are more than okay. We love each other so much, we’re not going anywhere.”

“That hurt my feelings, but you sound funny in your movie daddy. You’re a star.” Mia tells him, while playing with his beard.

“Thank you princess.” He kisses her head and sets her down.

“No more being sad baby, like daddy told Ez, it’s all part of the movie. Your daddy isn’t going anywhere.” You reassure your daughter.

“Okay mommy.” She hugs you. “Going to make sure Cheesy isn’t doing a mess.” She runs off to the playroom.

Jack is staring at you with raised eyebrows. “What Jackman?”

“Our kids were ready to knock me out.”

You chuckle. “No they were not.”

“Babe, yes they were, I was scared for my life. I thought Ezequiel was about to punch me.”

“You’re so dramatic.” You laugh, going up to him and wrapping your arms around his neck.

“I’m proud of you though.”

That makes him smile, he places his hands on your ass. “Yeah? Even with the kiss scene?”

“The kids gave you enough shit about it, I’ll save my comments to myself.” You play with his KY chain, your favorite chain on him.

“Oh so you did feel some type of way about it?” He squeezes both ass cheeks, smirking about it.

You roll your eyes and playful smack him on his chest. “You are loving this aren’t you?”

He nods, “It takes me back to when you first showed your jealous side.”

“We are not going there Jackman.” You glare at him, but then smile. “But I’ll get my revenge for it though, you just wait and see.”

“Wait what?”

“My next music video, let’s just say it’s not YouTube appropriate.”

“Y/N that’s not fair.”

“It’s okay baby, because it’s all fake right?” You smirk and get on your tippy toes to peck him. “But I am proud of you bubs, I can’t wait to watch it.”

“Maybe without the kids?” He suggests.

You laugh at that, “If you don’t want mini glares the entire time, then yes that’s best.”

You two share a kiss and you continue to tell him how proud you are of him. He gets shy whenever you praise him, so you enjoy it every single time.

“MOM, DAD, EZEQUIEL IS ANNOYING.”

“NO I’M NOT.”

“YES YOU ARE, STOP SAYING THAT.”

You and Jack share a look and smile.

“DON’T WORRY MAMI.. DON’T WORRY MAMI. DON’T WORRY MAMI.” Ezequiel yells out plenty of times, probably to annoy his sister even more.

“What are you saying?” You laugh, walking into the playroom.

“It’s from daddy’s movie, his friend was saying it.” Ez shrugs, referring to Sinqua Walls' line.

“He’s being annoying dad.”

“No I’m not.”

“Yes, and it’s mommy not mami.” Mia huffles in annoyance. “You don’t even make sense.”

“Uncle Sunni calls the girls mami, so I do know.”

“Okay, enough kids.”

“Oh can I get a flame gun for Christmas? Like in your movie?”

“NO.”

“Maybe next time we won’t show them any of our future projects.” You suggest.

Jack nods, “Sounds like a plan.”

Reality

As Nino lays out his plan for targeting Gabriel, Alya points out one thing. “Sure I know Ladybug can fix the mess an akuma causes. But Gabriel will still be mad. He already doesn’t like you, Nino. Don’t push it. For all we know, Gabriel might threaten to transfer Adrien to a different school. Remember, he totally lost it when Adrien lost his book?”

Nino: oh…right. I didn’t think of that. Then, who do we target?

Marinette grins sneakily. “I know someone who can get upset very easily.”

Adrien: really, who?

Marinette: i don’t want to spoil the surprise.

Later, as the parent-teacher meeting commenced, Marinette bursts in, “Oh, I’m so sorry to barge in like this. But I forgot I needed Mrs Rossi’s signature for Lila’s trip to Achu.”

Caline: Marinette, can’t this wait?

Mrs Rossi: what trip to Achu?

Caline and Marinette look at her. “You know, the trip she’s taking to join Prince Ali in teaching children for free. It’s such a shame that she won’t be able to attend the school’s weeklong camping trip but it’s for a good cause.

Mrs Rossi stands up. “My daughter is doing what?”

Caline: why are you so surprised, Mrs Rossi? Lila went to Achu for months less than a week after she joined Dupont.

Mrs Rossi: she told me the school was shut down from akuma attacks!

Marinette pretended to look faint. “Oh no, was it because of her special lying disease?”

Mr Cesaire looked skeptical. “A lying disease…? Do you mean compulsive lying?”

Gabriel almost regretted not being able to akumatize Mrs Rossi, if only to make up for losing Lila Rossi as a spy since clearly Alliance can no longer use her. Oh well, there’s always the fallout when her sheep find out.

Alya and Nino were recording this with open mouths. Adrien wasn’t so bothered by this after seeing more of Lila’s hateful personality.

Needless to say, the parent-teacher conference was delayed as Sabine then angrily wanted justice for her daughter if she was indeed framed by a liar. Gabriel had to admit the teaching faculty here was lousy to fall for Lila’s reception, but that’s what makes this place so prime for his akumas! Why did he send Adrien here again? Oh right, it’s the most prestigious school and he’ll never hear the end of it from Andre because Chloe would never accept his perfect son being in another school away from her.

Later, after Marinette received an apology from Mrs Rossi, she agreed to bring Lila up. Alya and Nino looked apologetic. “We’re so sorry we didn’t believe you.”

Marinette looked behind her. “It’s ok. Keep recording. If Mrs Rossi isn’t angry enough to attract an akuma, her daughter will be. Nothing akumatizes Lila like being caught.”

Lila was immediately suspicious when Marinette of all people came to get her, however it was subdued by Marinette’s poorly hidden dislike and the fact that it was Gabriel who asked her to come.

Certain that Mr Agreste wanted her help against a stupid boy’s resistance team, she agreed.

Boy was Lila surprised to see Sabine and her mother standing in front of the classroom instead of Mr Agreste, who looked disappointed in her.

Uh oh. Now Lila could see Marinette’s triumphant face and could see what had happened. Her one consolation was that the team’s plan to anger a parent into akumatization had failed. Though she was also irked she couldn’t get akumatized and make that loser suffer for exposing her like this. This is worse than Ladybug’s exposing her in front of Adrien!

As Lila was dragged by her mother to the principal’s office, Caline tried to resume the parent-teacher conference though it was clear all now felt disheartened by her incompetence.

The resistance was confused. Angry Rossis and disappointed parents were around. Where was the akuma?

Eventually they had to give up. What a waste of free period.

Not entirely a waste though since Lila was now exposed. Alya sent the recording to the whole class as the parents left.

Outraged gasps were heard everywhere.

Nino: why didn’t you wait till class was about to start? Then we could prepare to record the akumatization.

Adrien: if Monarch didn’t come out for Mrs Rossi and Lila, I doubt he’ll come for-

Reverser promptly swooped by, ready to turn Lila nice and honest.

Adrien: never mind.

Marc was deakumatized and the class apologized to Marinette for not believing her.

Lila returned to class, sulky in her forced apology, not really bothered by their angry reactions now that she was expelled. Only Marinette’s smug attitude infuriated her. Having been forced honest by Reverser, she had confessed to having duped two other women into being her mothers and had initially planned on running away to join one of them. Her mother now has their numbers. It was a nightmare.

Alya: who else can we akumatize for the greater good? Mayor Bourgeois?

Marinette: I don’t think our plan works if we our expected target isn’t even akumatized. We’ll have to think of something else.

Monarch is disappointed he won’t get to akumatize the akuma class again for a while. Ah well, it can be a favor to Adrien.

I forgot the Miraculous Awakening movie was supposed to come out so now I’m gonna ramble about it (spoilers!):

The jumpscare of hearing Marinette sing in a completely different voice took me off guard

I’m loving actually seeing gabriel as a fashion designer and what his stuff looks like

Chloe sounds… very much not like Chloe and it’s off putting (idk if it’s a different voice actor, I’m not looking it up)

“Think you an I were meant to be” I love Alya

Emilie? This clearly in the movie??

Was that Luka I just saw next to Juleka? At school???

The black cat on the book!

Adrien looks so pretty in that shot

Are… are Nino and Adrien already friends??

Gabriel’s hair

The loss of Emilie seems to be a lot more recent/present than in the series

Ohhh it’s her birthday

The lore is very interesting in this, we’re getting a lot more that wasn’t there in the show

So the miraculous have a choice in this for their holders I guess

Fu is so funny

Was… was the black cat a coincidence? How did it get there? I don’t think it was Plagg so what was that??

So the first akumatized victim is not a child this time

Wait a minute I don’t think we ever got to see Chloe and Adrien interact in the movie lmao

The movie started a bit more cheesy and childish but overall they did a pretty good job of telling the story. The visuals were stunning, though the story was a bit rushed but they did a good job. There wasn’t quite enough time to develop the characters and their dynamics but they did the best they could with the time they had. The person who did Marinette’s singing voice was amazing, but I wish they found someone who sounded more like Marinette if they couldn’t use the same voice actress. The lore was a bit different but I kind of like it better than how much we started getting in later seasons, I just wish we got a bit more explanation on some things cause we don’t have the show to give us answers anymore. The only reason I feel like this ending with gabriel and Adrien works is because they didn’t have as much of an abusive relationship and he actually had a chance to redeem himself, but I’m glad he has to actually deal with the consequences. I know there are tons of fanfics about it but it’s so sad that while Marinette knew who Adrien was, he had no idea if he’d ever see Ladybug again but I’m glad that got resolved pretty quickly. I’m confused on what they want to do next cause they clearly were setting up for some kind of sequel but gabriel is already out as Hawkmoth and Nathalie only helped him during that time but I guess we’d just have to wait and see.

Miraculous fanart: Chloebug Date + Miraculous rewriting: Chloenette AU (Season 1)

I publish some new Chloenette images.

Season 2 rewrite

Time for the rewriting !

The Story and its changes:

Season 1:

Origins/Stoneheart:

Hawkmoth begins his villainous actions.

Marinette rescues Master Fu. At the Françoise Dupont school, she seats with Alya and eventually befriends with her.

Akumatized Ivan (Stoneheart) tracks down down Kim for revenge.

Marinette and Adrien meet their kwamis (Tikki and Plagg). They become Ladybug and Cat Noir.

After the first battle, Marinette thinks about to secretly give the Ladybug earrings to someone but hesitates between Alya, Sabrina and Chloé.

When Marinette and Adrien meet first time, there isn't any chewing-gum incident. Instead of, Chloé just roasts Marinette and Alya (in Chloé's mind, she imagined Marinette and Alya as a potential date: Ridiculous !). Adrien is uncomfortable about the blondie's behavior.

Adrien befriends with Nino who learns him to be friends with real honest people.

Stoneheart comes back. He kidnaps Mylène and Chloé. The latter openly mocks the Myvan (Mylène + Ivan) ship as she already laughed of Ivan being a "monster".

Stoneheart throws out Chloé from the Eiffel Tower. Meanwhile, Marinette, who becomes Ladybug again, saves Chloé in extremis.

Hawkmoth publicly introduces himself to Parisians and claims the Ladybug's and Cat Noir's miraculouses.

The two heroes deakumatize Ivan. They save Ivan and Mylène of their fall.

Adrien/Cat Noir develops a love crush on Ladybug.

After the Stoneheart's second incident, Marinette and Alya steal Chloé's and Sabrina's seats in class. In this AU, Marinette stands up against Chloé and convinces the latter to sit at the desk of the first rank (the Chloé's and Sabrina's initial seats). Chloé accepts these terms, she can see Adrien/Adrikins at her left.

The umbrella scene happens, Adrien tells to Marinette his life before his first day at Françoise Dupont school. Effectively, Marinette begins to have feelings on Adrien. She falls in love with him (same situation in canon but without the Derision trauma but she's just: Shy !).

In same time, Chloé expresses thanks to Ladybug on social media. Due to events, she develops a crush on Ladybug and tries to forget Marinette. Meanwhile, the blondie is still confused between the bakery girl and Adrikins.

The Bubbler:

Marinette tries to offer her blue scarf to Adrien for his birthday (same way as in canon).

When Chloé comes to wish happy birthday to Adrien, she doesn't hustle Marinette.

Nino is akumatized into The Bubbler, sends all adults to the sky (except Gabriel Hawkmoth) and forces all the teenage people from Paris to celebrate Adrien's birthday in a form of a "party".

In this AU, Chloé offers to Marinette a dance but the latter politely declines because she must go to put the post-it on the gift. Chloé layer dances with Adrien anyway.

Ladybug properly interupts the Bubbler's party (no jealousy crisis like there was in canon).

Ladybug and Cat Noir save the day by deakumatizing Nino.

The next day, Adrien wears the scarf and he believes it's his father who offered it to him. That surprises Marinette when he tells thar to her, Alya ans Nino but she chooses to not reveal herself about the scarf.

Alya comforts Mari. Mari comforts Chloé (the latter was angry about having her gift get delayed).

Mr Pigeon:

The Design contest happens. The major difference is Chloé doesn't try to copy Marinette's designs. Instead of that, she makes Sabrina to create the bowler hat for service.

Sabrina's Chloé's hat could have yellow/golden colours.

But Marinette eventually wins the contest with her feather-themed hat. She is even praised by Gabriel Agreste and Adrien.

The battle against Mr Pigeon happens. No modification of the canon.

Lady Wifi:

Alya discovers Chloé has got a yo-yo in her bag. She believes she is Ladybug.

With the help of Nino, she tries to inspect Chloé's locker. She is eventually busted.

Chloé fires Alya causes the expellment of Alya out of the school by blackmailing Mr Damocles.

In this AU, Chloé rids off a rival ridiculous but 'nuisible' girl while Sabrina feels guilty about Alya's expellment (she recognizes in discretion Chloé's Mr Damocles decision is too excessive).

Lady Wifi events are happening like in canon. But Ladybug finds out Chloé is responsible of the Alya's expellment and takes more seriously the bad action the blondie had committed.

After the battle, Ladybug "reconciles" Chloé and Alya. The Ladyblog reporter eventually reintegres Françoise Dupont school.

Alya excludes Chloé of her list of people suspected to be Ladybug, recognizing her error.

At the end, there is a line of Alya to Marinette:

Ladybug is too kind. She could never bully or expell schoolmates like Chloé does it.

That makes Marinette blushing and having fun.

Pixelator:

Same story than the canon.

Jagged Stone comes to the Grand Hôtel with his assistant Penny and his crocodile Fang.

Vincent Aza, a fan, stalks Jagged for selfies. The fan is eventually expelled out of the Hôtel.

In this AU, when Marinette quits the Hotel for going at home to make glasses Jagged recquires, Chloé just says to the bluenette with a sarcastical tone:

Good Luck, Dupain-Cheng ! 😘

Pixelator commits his photo-carnage (he sends his targets/victims in his white boards from his house) at the Grand Hôtel and at the Arc-De-Triomphe (still identical story to the canon).

Ladybug rescues Jagged. She confronts Pixelator. Adrien and Chloé are photo-carnaged and later freed.

With the help of Cat Noir, Jagged (and the unawaited help of Chloé), Ladybug manages to neutralize Pixelator and deakumatize him.

Jagged receives his Eiffel Tower-themed glasses from Marinette. He later invites the entire Miraclass to his concert (Chloé included).

Marinette, Adrien, Alya, Nino, and Chloé (+ Sabrina) come to the Jagged Stone concert as VIPs.

Chloé goes to the concert only because Marinette and Adrien are here (she still prefers XY Roth to Jagged).

Darkblade:

Class representative election happens.

Marinette runs for class representative as candidate.

In this AU, Chloé talks with Marinette and requests to her explanations about her surprising candidacy (it was Chloé who was the class representative of her class in previous grades in every year).

Marinette already knows Chloé is blackmailing her classmates to prevent them to run to the election. But this time, she maintains her candidacy (due to Ladybug's influence(herself lol !) and Tikki's advices).

Chloé eventually sends Sabrina to discover Marinette's "dark" secrets at the Dupain-Cheng bakery. Resigned, Sabrina executes her "bestie"'s order (she is aware she is going to steal her 'formerly' friend).

Chloé organisates a Jagged Stone's autograph seance at thé Mairie of Paris and invites all her classmates for buy their votes.

Sabrina joins Chloé with the secret diary but her hand is consequently trapped in the box. Because of that, she expresses to the blondie she regrets her act.

In this AU, Chloé's blackmailing towards Marinette takes the form of a 'negociation': To improve Marinette's image at the school by letting Chloé win the election in exchange of get the stolen diary back.

The battle against Darkblade/Armand D'Argencourt happens. Ladybug and Cat Noir save the day again.

After the battle, the Chloé's blackmailing attempt is exposed. There is Marinette's speech about voting for better ideas.

Chloé openly retires her candidacy with humility.

Marinette becomes the class president. Alya is her deputy.

Chloé will pretend to people she had let Marinette win for save her own reputation (because she wants to preserve her friendship with Adrien too).

Dark Cupid:

Marinette (helped by Alya) tries to confess her love to Adrien. She finds the Adrien's unfinished love letter (same way as in canon).

Chloé, in her moment, tricks Adrien with a "just cause" thing for make him to sign an autograph on the poster.

So she can laugh at the girls from the Adrien fan-club.

In this AU, Kim tries to confess her admiration toward Chloé (the common point they have is the taste for pranks). That doesn't mean he doesn't try to date her. He is already in couple with Ondine.

Chloé, of course, declines the Kim's "love confession" (even if she does it less cruelly) . That causes the latter's akumatization.

The battle with Dark Cupid is happening (identically to the canon).

The Ladybug-Cat Noir Kiss scene happens too. The Adrien poster vandalism too.

Chloé borrows some money to his dad for donate to charity associations.

His dad is the mayor and at the same time he has a fiscal bank account for his family (he can spoil his wife and his daughter in money and luxurious gifts for satisfy their whims 💰💵💸).

She makes her donations very fast for hide the incident of the vandalized poster (Sabrina causes it under the Dark Cupid influence).

Kim offers his Valentine-themed gift to Ondine.

In parallel, Marinette/Ladybug discretly sends the love letter back to Adrien. The latter recognizes his letter and sees out someone has already answered to his confession. That makes him blush ans he thinks Ladybug could be the answerer.

In parallel again, Chloé think about offer a Valentine-themed gift for Ladybug but nobody knows the latter's real identity.

So the blondie furtively puts her gift in the locker of the first person she thought about: Marinette.

Marinette blushes when she discovers it. Meanwhile, the gift hasn't any name: It's anonymous.

She just guesses Chloé can be the giver. The gift contains a poem with a line: When I see you, I feel utterly ridiculous while you're miraculous. 💗

Horrificator:

Same story than the canon. The Miraclass make a short horror film.

There are minor changes for this AU.

Chloé afraids Mylène (that causing the latter's akumatization into Horrificator).

Chloé answers to everyone it was just a joke: she doesn't realizes the scale of her prank. That angers Ivan. Marinette and Adrien object her. Even Kim feels disappointed about the blondie's joke: Not cool !

When Marinette sends Chloé to search an nursery uniform for the movie, the latter leaves the classroom with Sabrina, Kim and Max.

In this AU, Chloé makes more time to realize Marinette has sent her far from the movie shoot.

Horrificator kidnaps Chloé, Kim and Max. Only Sabrina manages to escape.

The Marinette-Adrien kiss moment is interupted by Sabrina who warns the entire class about Horrificator.

Globally, the battle between Ladybug, Cat Noir, the Miraclass and Horrificator happens in a similar way to the canon. The method used to defeat and deakumatize Horrificator is the same method as in canon: a mini-concert.

After the battle, the movie is presented to the mayor (Chloé's Daddy): of course, it was rejected.

Chloé expresses a bit of apologies to Mylène and Ivan in présence of Marinette ans Adrien. She does it by fearing any possible comeback of Horrificator or Stoneheart.

Evillustrator:

Chloé laughs at Nathaniel about his love crush on Marinette in presence of the entire class. The blondie even briefly plays with his sketchbook.

In this AU, the blondie roasts the artist. Her line to Nathaniel:

You're too ridiculous. Too utterly ridiculous for having Dupain-Cheng as your lover.

Marinette is embarrassed by hearing Chloé speak like that. So the bakery girl feels compassion for Nathaniel.

The latter boy is akumatized into Evillustrator and he seeks revenge against Chloé in reason of the humiliation she has done to him.

Mrs Mendeleiev composes the groups of students of the class.

The known groups of three are: Adrien, Nino and Alya and Marinette, Chloé and Sabrina.

In this AU, Marinette and Chloé are used to be friends (or to be "friends"). So the bakery girl reluctantly accepts to work with the blondie. But she is less impacted than she is in the canon.

Knowing Sabrina, Marinette eventually teams up with her for the physics report. The two schoolmates work together early before Chloé joins them at the library.

Sabrina berates Chloé like she berates her in canon: I'm not your slave, Chloé !

Evillustrator suddenly comes to pertubate their time by summoning a giant hairdryer scarying Chloé.

The events with Evillustrator happen.

Ladybug and Cat Noir ask questions to Chloé about Evillustrator like in canon.

Marinette later sees Evillustrator coming at her home. She recognizes him as Nathaniel. The artist invites her to his private birthday. She accepts his invitation with the request of not harming Chloé.

Sabrina doesn't come to Marinette's home because the two girls were already well advanced in the schoolwork.

In this AU, Sabrina calls her just for express her worries toward her after the Evillustrator assault. So she doesn't berate Marinette (No comparison with Chloé).

The Evillustrator date happens. Cat Noir and Marinette ambush the akumatized supervillain but it fails.

Later, Ladybug and Cat Noir finally manage to defeat/deakumatize him in the Chloé's bedroom.

Aftermath: When Alya interviewes Chloé for the Ladyblog, the latter expresses her thanks to Ladybug for protecting her during the late night (instead of blaming the two heroes of trashing her bedroom as in canon).

Marinette and Adrien discuss together about Cat Noir (in the same way as in canon).

Chloé and Sabrina reconcile each other.

Nathaniel begins to work a comic about Ladybug. He comes to the art room joining his friend Alix.

Rogercop:

Plagg seeks cheese in the Chloé's bag and he accidentally gets his head stuck in the bracelet.

Chloé sees her bracelet has disappeared from her bag.

Adrien sees Plagg with the bracelet rolling to his feet.

In this AU (I repeatly write these words for more tell the divergence), Chloé doesn't accuse Marinette (not directly). Meanwhile, she publicly says there is a thief among them.

Agent Roger (Sabrina's dad) calls Chloé back with his moral quote: Every citizen is innocent until proven guilty.

But the mayor Bourgeois orders to Roger to search all the people from the classroom. Roger objects: The mayor's order breaks the law. Then the mayor fires the policeman.

The next scenes happen: Roger's akumatization into Rogercop, the debate about finding the "thief" in the classroom, Adrien frees Plagg from the bracelet, the battle against the Akuma.

Rogercop uses Chloé as hostage for make André Bourgeois leave his mayor fonctions.

Ladybug and Cat Noir are designated outlaws by Rogercop.

The two heroes defeat and deakumatize the villain.

Cat Noir puts the bracelet back in the Chloé's bag (that makes everyone believe the bracelet was just misplaced).

Mayor rehabilitates Roger in his policeman title (he even promotes him as lieutenant).

In the end from this AU, Chloé could publicly say she is sorry for hastly making accusations at the school (in front of Ladybug).

Timebreaker

Same story than the canon.

Alix receives, for her birthday (15 years old), a special gift from his father: The Bunny Miraculous A watch "from her ancestor".

Kim (on foot) and Alix (on skates) challenge each other in a race at the Trocadéro. The Miraclass comes as spectators.

Difference with the canon: When Chloé holds the Alix's watch, Marinette and Adrien, who hold the banner, say to her to return it. Instead of mocking Alix's watch (as in canon), Chloé would say:

Relax, Dupain-Cheng, Adrikins and losers. I just want to know how much does this watch cost.

Chloé eventually opens the watch and screams about seeing an hologram from the object. She accidentally destroy the watch (same way as in canon).

Alix is akumatized into Timebreaker and the Time massacre begins.

Of course, Timebreaker absorbs Cat Noir's energy causing his erasure. So she travels to the past (with Ladybug who is following her), to the moment from some minutes ago for saving her watch.

Like in canon, The presence of Ladybug and Timebreaker cause the watch's crushing in this new timeline. Alternate Alix is akumatized too.

Ladybug, Cat Noir and the Ladybug from the alternate timeline fight against TWO Timebreakers.

The end of battle is the same: Timebreakers are defeated. The world and its timeline are returned back to normal (Thanks to Lucky CharmS). The Alix's is even fully restored.

Reflekta

It's Photograph Day at the Françoise Dupont school. Juleka has a picture-day "curse" on her.

In this AU, Juleka's akumatization factor will be a bit of different: No one blocks her in the bathroom with a chair. She just laments about her cursed life too long that she misses the photo shoot.

Despite Rose's recomfort, Juleka is eventually akumatized into Reflekta.

While this moment, Marinette goes to delete the school picture in the Damocles' office but Chloé and Sabrina bust her. In this situation, Marinette's office violation can conduct to her expellment.

Sabrina can feel ashamed to see Marinette violating school rules. Meanwhile Chloé gives to the bakery girl a chance of forget the crime: She offers to Dupain-Cheng to give up the idea of delete the picture in exchange .

Because of the fact the three girls hanged out together in the past from this AU, Marinette takes a better idea: To offer to Chloé and Sabrina a deal.

Marinette's deal talks about to take a better school photography than the actual picture.

Convicted, Chloé accepts the deal and orders to Sabrina to keep secret the intrusion. A win-win.

When the three girls (the "trio") leave the office, they confront Reflekta. The akuma had already a lot of students and Cat Noir into Reflektas. So she turns Chloé and Sabrina into Reflektas too (except Marinette who manages to escape).

Ladybug and a Reflekta-ed Cat Noir fight Reflekta together. The battle happens identically to the canon until the Juleka's deakumatization and the aftermath.

After the incident, the Miraclass makes a photo group together at the park.

And Juleka is included. That ends the photo "curse".

Chloé and Sabrina are present in the new picture.

The picture in this AU be like (read my post for see the difference):

Princess Fragrance

Same story than the canon. Prince Ali comes to Paris.

Chloé finds out a red "plushie": it's Tikki sick. Marinette had accidentally lost her kwami while she was with Adrien.

In this AU, when Rose requests Chloé to send her letter to the Prince Ali, Chloé acts as her own semi-bully.

Her line to Rose:

I have no time with your fish funk, Cinderella ! It's a day between rich people. No peasants allowed.

A disgusted Chloé just passively throws the letter she had comprimed into a ball and throws it like a trash before leaving the place in limousine.

Rose is eventually akumatized into Princess Fragrance.

Marinette retrieves back Tikki. She meets Master Fu a "pet healer" who heals Tikki.

Cat Noir fights Princess Fragrance, evacuates Prince Ali, the latter's chaperone and Chloé.

Meanwhile, Cat Noir is brainwashed/fragranced like the test of the group.

Ladybug eventually saves the day like in canon.

Rose and Prince Ali befriend together (at the surprise of Chloé).

Guitar Villain

Jagged Stone requests Marinette about creating a new album cover.

But Bob Roth, the music producer, "advices" to the girl to design a "modern" version: A pink-themed cover based on XY's albums.

There are more Chloé's appearances in this AU than in canon.

The blondie accompanies Marinette to Jagged permitting to the latter girl to present the cover to the musician. The blondie rich girl will join Adrien later.

The Jagged's akumatization into Guitar Villain happens.

The battle happening is identical to the canon. Meanwhile, Chloé "offers her help" to Ladybug and Cat Noir (It's comical: She just comes to rescue XY Roth).

In aftermath, Marinette manages to design a Rock'n'Roll-themed cover for Jagged (At the objection of Bob).

Jagged's new album becomes N°1 on charts.

Adrien congratulates Marinette for the exploit. Chloé praises her too but with some nuance.

Kung Food

Wang Cheng/Cheng Shifu, Marinette's great-uncle, comes to Paris for participate to the World Greatest Chef contest that organisated at the Grand Hôtel.

Like in the canon, Marinette (under Alya's advice) asks Adrien for help to communicate with her great-uncle.

The story is the same until Chloé's comes to see Dupain-Cheng and Adrikins.

In this AU, Chloé sees them as her lovely "friends". In canon, only Adrikins is her lovely "friend" (as love interest) while she hates Dupain-Cheng.

Chloé says to the Adrienette duet she doesn't like the soup/dish (So. Why are you become a jury member if you don't want to eat/taste foods of candidates ? 🤔😑🥣).

Realizing the fact Cheng Shifu is part of the bakery girl family, the rich brat decides to impress the latter girl by cooking a dish.

For that, she distracts Shifu by telling him "Marinette is waiting him outside of the kitchen".

In the kitchen, she takes a pressure cooker that already contains a soup (unaware it's Shifu's soup) and she "cooks" it with everything she can find at hand. She is furtive. She cooks a soup with her own imagination.

When Chloé finishes it, Shifu comes back ans doesn't remark the Chloé's modification.

As in canon, the jury members are disgusted about tasting Shifu's "Celestial soup" and decline the cooker out of the competition.

Shifu claims someone has sabotaged his soup. Marinette and Adrien have the same thought about the sabotage thing.

Marinette suspects Chloé. The latter innocently whistles and just tells to have cooked her own "ridiculous" soup (advising the others to not taste it).

Cheng Shifu, who finds out the Chloé's presence in kutchen wasn't a coincidence, believes the latter has sabotaged his cooking and he is eventually akumatized into Kung Food.

The akuma incident happens in the same way as in the canon.

Chloé is taken as prisoner by Kung Food's brainwashed slaves. Ladybug and Cat Noir come to save her.

They eventually defeat Kung Food and his slaves (with the unawaited help of Chloé).

After the battle, Chloé expresses her "apologizes" to Cheng Shifu and she confesses to want to impress Marinette.

Shifu is reintegrated to the competition and he wins the title of World's Greatest Chef with the Marinette soup (previously named Celestial soup).

Shifu teaches to both Marinette and Chloé how to cook the concerned soup.

Antibug

There are major changes for this episode.

The Sabrina's akumatization into Vanisher happens in same way as in canon. Chloé and Sabrina initially played together with Armand Jean-??? the butler. The two girls were disguised as Ladybug and Cat Noir.

Chloé sees Jagged Stone and a reporter team (leaded by Nadja Chamack) talking together. The blondie thinks about a joke. She comes to the journalists by ignoring Sabrina and her butler. The joie: To pretend to be the real Ladybug.

Her joke seems work well until Sabrina "wastes" the plan.

Chloé becomes mad toward Sabrina. The "sidekick" tries to express an apologize but the blondie "fires" her.

The next day, Sabrina attempts to fix her relationship. But Chloé coldly says to her:

I would have preferred you were invisible. To be friends with you was ridiculous. Utterly ridiculous !

The Vanisher's torment against Chloé happens identically to the canon. Ladybug and Cat Noir confront the invisible villainess.

Chloé comes to help the heroes but Ladybug backfires her (she was aware about Chloé's "superhero identity usurpation" attempt).

After deakumatizing Sabrina, Chloé hears the conversation Ladybug and Cat Noir.

In this AU, the conversation happens like that:

Cat Noir: Why didn't you listen to Chloé ? She was only trying to help. Ladybug: First, because Chloé has put us in danger including herself. And about endangering herself, Second, she has been totally irresponsible to claim to be me earlier. Do you forget the Lady Wifi incident ? I was not gonna let her playing hero.

Hearing and misunderstanding her potential love interest's idol's words, Chloé is heartbroken. She falls in tears.

Hawkmoth uses this opportunity to akumatize Chloé into Antibug.

Hawkmoth: Antibug, I am Hawk Moth. Ladybug has broken your heart, I give you the chance for revenge. So, shall we defeat Ladybug together ? Chloé: You can count on me Hawk Moth ! There will only be one heroine in Paris, me ! Antibug !

While Ladybug and Cat Noir finish their talk with journalists, Antibug stands up against them.

Antibug's introduction line to Ladybug:

Hahahaha ! You should have accept my help to defeat Vanisher. You've broken my heart. And now, I'm going to break you !

The battle happens as similar as in canon until the deakumatization scene.

During the battle, Antibug/Chloé confesses to Ladybug to be in love with her.

Ladybug tries to reason with Antibug by explaining about her hero's duties and responsibilities but the contradicted villainess doesn't care.

The Lucky Charm and Anti Charm summonings happen.

About deakumatizing Chloé, Ladybug will say this speech (Shadybug vibes):

You're right, Chloé. Reject your help is an error. You have feelings on me and I respect and tolerate it. Sincerely I never wanted to hurt you. I want to say that: You're an exceptional girl, Chloé Bourgeois. I consider you as a close friend. You aren't ridiculous.

Touched by Ladybug's words, Antibug is crying. She feels emotional and thanks her heroin. Chloé says to her:

And you aren't utterly ridiculous, Ladybug !

Chloé executes the Miraculous Antibug repairing her own damages.

Afterward, Chloé rejects the akuma (Hawkmoth: NOOOOO !!!) that impresses Ladybug and Cat Noir.

After the battle, Chloé reconciles with Ladybug and accepts to reconcile with Sabrina too.

At the school, Chloé "apologizes" to Sabrina and rehires her befriends with her again.

We can say Ladybug and Chloé are more closer in this AU than in canon.

Volpina

Here comes the launch of the story.

Same story than the canon. Adrien "steals" a grimoire from the Gabriel's safe (with the complicity of Plagg).

A new student girl named Cerise Bianca Lila Rossi comes to Françoise Dupont school and gains sympathy of the schoolmates by lying telling her stories.

In this AU, Marinette, Alya, Chloé and Sabrina (forming a quartet) come to school together.

Marinette is aware about Lila's existence earlier than in the canon (possibly thanks to Sabrina and Chloé).

When Marinette stalks Adrien and Lila at the library, she is accompanied of Chloé.

In this AU, Chloé can temporary disturbs the "couple". Lila, unimpressed, passive-aggressively backfires/roasts the blondie girl who is angered. Chloé leaves the library while Marinette stays hidden for watching the scene.

Tikki recognizes the Grimoire/Spellbook when Adrien removes it from his schoolbag. But Lila steals the book (unknown to Adrien).

Marinette and Tikki eventually follow Lila until the park (the bakery girl remembers too the new student lied about being friends with Ladybug).

The "date" happens in the same way as in canon. Lila pretends to be a superheroin ("better" than Ladybug) to Adrien. Marinette, who has taken back the grimoire from the trashcan, becomes Ladybug and confronts the superliar exposing her on front of Adrien.

Humiliated, Lila is akumatized into Volpina. And the battle happens like in canon.

After the battle, Lila glares to Ladybug with the line: We'll never be friends.

Adrien finds out the Grimoire has disappeared. Gabriel will be aware about the book's disappearance

Marinette, under the guidance of Tikki, meets the guardian of the Miraculous: Master Fu. She comes to present the Grimoire to him.

End of Season 1. To be continued in Season 2.

You must see there are missing episodes: The Mime, Stormy Weather, The Paraoh, The Puppeteer, Copycat, The Gamer, Animan and Simon Says.

No need to adding these episodes because Chloé doesn't appear in theses and/or hasn't any interference in theses for the progress of the story.

the stupid chat blanc au

Fu only gives out the Ladybug miraculous and chooses Marinette to become the hero of the city.

Le Papillon only akumatises one person and it's Adrien (who becomes Chat Blanc)

During the first akumatisation to not only bait Ladybug out into the open but also to show Paris how dangerous he can be, Le Papillon ordered Chat Blanc to cause some mass destruction.

It didn't work. For some reason, Le Papillon can't control Chat Blanc nor see through his eyes so all he could do was get out of hiding and find the boy.

Chat Blanc did wreak havoc. He vandalised all the Gabriel-related adverts, threw eggs at the front of his stores, chased after pigeons, inhaled twenty 16" pizzas by himself and so on.

He also got bored so he tested his powers on the Eiffel Tower by picking it up and shooting it into the sky.

It crashed into the moon. He didn't mean to do that.

Ladybug accidentally crashes into him similar to origins and that's how they meet. He calls her Maladroit and she's telling him off for destroying the moon, making him whine.

"It was an accident!!!"

"So fix it!"

"I don't know how!"

Ladybug is overwhelmed. There's news that the world is starting to flood because of the damaged moon, she has no idea how to use her powers, she wasn't so keen on being a hero and Chat Blanc is just an overall menace who is no help whatsoever.

She tried to run away and give the earrings away to Alya. However, throughout the whole time when she was at school, she noted how stressed and scared everyone was about the inevitable flood and Chat Blanc.

Marinette also noticed Chat Blanc lingering by the school, looking really lonely. It was then she realised that he looked like he was their age and he probably had no one to rely on. She wondered about the boy under the mask. Maybe...he just wanted a friend?

The city is flooded much faster than everyone anticipated and even Alya got caught up in it. Le Papillon also makes his entrance and he tries to force Chat Blanc into listening to him. Marinette notes the Akuma in visible pain from Le Papillon trying to control him so she suits up and kicks his ass.

She dispels Le Papillon's butterflies, uses Lucky charm, purifies Chat Blanc (all whilst giving him an encouraging smile to show he's safe with her), and uses her cleansing powers.

An amnesiac Adrien watches Ladybug with awe as she delivers her speech to Paris. He falls in love and when she holds his hands and tells him that she'll always try her best to protect him from le Papillon's clutches, he starts internally planning their future wedding.

"I'll try my best to be supportive if I get akumatised again. I promise! I don't want to hurt you."

"Ouais, Chaton~"

Ladybug notes that Adrien is really cute and finds his bashfulness very endearing.

Marinette didn't expect him to join their school (Gabriel was oddly compliant to finally let Adrien go to public school, looking guilty for some reason HMmMMM????).

The gum incident does happen but it's the rest of the class who are very uncomfortable with him despite his attempts to stop Chloe's pranks (who was also lowkey starting to bully him cos "ew adrichou you're a mangy cat now"). It's because he was akumatised that they were wary of him.

Only Marinette knew that he was actually not a bad person. So with Alya's encouragement, Marinette stands up for him in front of the class and reiterates that le Papillon took advantage of Adrien and turned him into a villain.

Nino is the first to step up after that and becomes Adrien's best friend.

The class decide to give him a chance too and towards the end of school, they decide they all really like Adrien. He's just a silly cat.

After school, Adrien waits for Marinette to come out of the building and gives her this heartwarming, cute thank you. He offers her his umbrella and doesn't realise he's also won over her heart. She falls for him.

After all of this, because Gabriel is a perfectionist, he only akumatises Adrien. He wants to try and be able to form the link with him. He akumatises him every time even if it's at the slightest of inconveniences. Be it that they ran out of milk in the kitchen or he accidentally bit the inside of his mouth or that he tripped over his chair, Adrien will get akumatised.

Chat Blanc has a playful relationship with Ladybug. He really likes her but at the same time, he doesn't like having to co-operate and loves being a menace.

"Here, minou, minou, minou!"

"Let me chase after those people in peace!"

"No! That's not very nice!"

"But they did it to that small kid first!"

"...Okay. But you can't just threaten to make them bald and shoot cataclysms at them!"

"BOOOOOOOOOO."

Blanc is also very flirty with Ladybug but she doesn't take him seriously because he ends up growing a liking to her civilian persona too and is just as flirty (Ladybug refuses to acknowledge she's low-key jealous of her own self and Tikki is tired of this shit).

He's more aware of his feelings as Adrien, madly in love with Ladybug and desperate to be closer with Marinette because she's so cool, right??!?

He can remember some things that happened when he was akumatised after he gets purified and often gets embarrassed. He gets all flustered and apologises to Ladybug but she always laughs it off and pats his head and calls him cute nicknames.

Sometimes she stutters like Marinette and Adrien finds it so both endearing and worrying. Hopefully, he doesn't intimidate them both.

He's close friends with Nino, Alya and Marinette. Often they're there every time he gets akumatised. As Chat Blanc, he never tries to pull pranks on them or do mean things. He's extra protective of them.

Alya finds it really funny and interesting how chummy Chat Blanc can get with Marinette and Ladybug.

As Chat Blanc, he has all his memories of being Adrien but his intrusive actions and thoughts are much stronger. (Like a goofy, terrible villain Chat Noir.)

The more Ladybug gets to know him, the more she realises how hard Adrien's life actually is and the things he's been through. So she tries her best to be a very good friend and look after him.

Le Papillon finally manages to create a link between him and Chat Blanc, however it turns out that all along the Akuma has been erasing the link with his infinite destruction.

"Finally! I can reach you, Chat Blanc-"

"Sup, old man."

"Now, you will listen to me and retrieve Ladybug's earrings-"

"Byeeeeeee~"

"NO WAIT PLEASE-"

Le Papillon tries to entice Blanc with offers and promises but it never works. The only time he got close was when he offered him all the fatty tuna he could ever dream of...

Le Papillon realises that using Chat Blanc wouldn't work. But he didn't want to akumatise anyone else because Chat Blanc was just the perfect Akuma and AAAAAAA. So, Mayura steps in.

The first Sentimonstre causes serious harm and almost takes Ladybug out of commission. So Chat Blanc stepped in to save her and he wasn't very happy >:D

Why does Adrien love Marinette?

I think Adrien is in love with Marinette because he always tries to put up a front with everyone he knows, even if it's just by instinct, but with Marinette it's so easy for him to put down all his defenses and just be himself. He doesn't even realize (until S5) he's not pretending anymore because her presence is so warm and comforting to him. He has always been naturally drawn to her in a way he hasn’t been compared to the sort of heart stopping moments he’s felt with Ladybug or Kagami. Something more tender and quiet but dear to him.

With Kagami, yes, she was able to tell he was putting up a front, and he was happy to be seen, but he never got comfortable enough to put those walls down with her bc of the very forward and blunt manner in how she tried to pull it out of him.

Which ofc since she likes her boyfriend she wants him to be vulnerable with her, but during the times he’s shown his vulnerablility, she hasn’t really responded with the empathy and understanding he yearns for. Resulting in his emotional unavailability with her.

With Nino and the rest of his friends, he doesn’t want to ruin their image of what they see as the best for him so he keeps quiet when he doesn’t want to do anything his father says at all.

With Ladybug he feels like he can be a certain version of himself that makes him feel good, one that lets him forget about his troubles as Adrien for a bit. Ladybug is his best friend and he’d do anything for her, but his relationship with her when he is Chat, discounting his romantic feelings for her, is one of escaping from himself. With Ladybug he doesn’t need to look deeper into his own issues because by virtue of their partnership as superheroes, he shouldn’t expose himself to her; he couldn't even if he wanted to. Despite his carefree attitude only she gets to see, their tender moments, how at ease she makes him feel; he still has to put up a different type of front with her as well.

Marinette notices him, listens to him, gives him advice, stands up for him, and encourages proactive change in his life in ways that make him feel confident and comfortable with himself. She’s gentle in her approach. She lets him know she’s here for him and wants him to know he always has her by his side. She shows empathy and understanding. Even when she doesn’t know it’s him.

Being with Marinette makes him feel like it’s ok to just be Adrien.

The Adrien who goes PROTECT ME when he is scared of getting caught sneaking out of the house :)

Love Ballads

This was previously posted on my Wattpad. It has been in the works of being rewritten. Most of it is the original storyline (wasn't published) but also changes from the shadows. It will be a long fic in the making and will be posted every Friday.

"You will be dating an upcoming model, Lila Rossi." announced Gabriel, "Is that understood, Adrien?"

"Does it have to be Lila?" asked Adrien.

'Out of all people, why did it have to be her?'

"Dating experience is necessary for your future in finding a bride to uphold the Agreste name." his father continued, "Miss Rossi is new to the public eye and will boost your standing, as you do to hers."

"Understood." sighed Adrien.

"In light of this new 'relationship', you will have three nights to appear more relatable to the public. Let me know the days and what you will be attending on said days. Miss Rossi must accompany you on one of said days." he stated.

"Yes, Father." replied Adrien, as he was dismissed.

'What do couples do? I haven't dated since I was fifteen and I'm pretty sure there's a difference.'

Adrien paced his room as he tried to figure out how to spend his new freedom.

'I have three free days, but I'm stuck with Lila one of those days.'

He didn't really want to spend time with Lila, but that was the price of his freedom. Not to mention, he had to 'date' her. Lila had always been high-maintenance and he was sure somehting like going to the movies, wasn't going to cut it for her. Not to mention, he didn't want to be in a dark room with her. He was sure she'd try something. That was another thing he had to worry about, her lies and fake tears on dates.

'I have to treat her like she's Chloe. Chloe would want five star resturants and shopping so those are out of the question to do with Lila. If I took her somewhere in public, she could create a scene.'

"What do couples do?" he asked out loud, before inspiration struck him.

'Nino!'

Adrien pulled his phone out of his pocket and immediately dialed his best friend's number.

"Adrien, Bro!" Nino answered, "What's going on? Bored at another shoot?"

"No." replied Adrien, "Not this time. I actually need some advice."

"Really? About what?" questioned Nino.

"I have three nights off to appear more 'relatable to the public' and I have no idea what to do. Of course I still have to uphold the family name and all that, but-" said Adrien.

"That's great, Dude!" cried Nino, "I'm sure I can come up with a list in an hour!"

"One catch, I have to bring Lila with me." murmured the young Agreste, "At least on one of those nights."

"Lila? As in Lila Rossi?" asked Nino.

"Yep." Adrien eye-rolled his answer, not that his best friend could tell.

"Congrats, my man! Oh, I got it! Tomorrow, most of us from the old class meet up for karaoke. Majority of us are couples, but we still let in single people, so you can spin it off to your Old Man as a couples night." said Nino, excitedly.

"That sounds great! Okay, what else?" asked Adrien, happily.

"On Wednesdays we have a Guy's Night." the DJ continued, "The girls go off and do their own thing. Sometimes they go out for drink, other times it's movies, or just lounging at someone's place. I'm sure the girls would love if Lila could join them."

"Great! Where do we meet up so I can just give him all the details?" asked the young model.

"We usually rotate places, incase the girls do the same. We usually just chill out at each other's houses, play video games, chill out, and eat junk food." Nino said.

"Okay, I might have to spin that, but I can work on that." Adrien replied, "Got anything else?"

"Fridays, we have Game Night and I seem to remember you almost being a UMS3 champ. Basically it's the same as Guy's Night, but the girls can go too. It's been our way of letting out frustrations from school or work." laughed Nino, " Close to finals, it turns into study sessions, instead."

"Okay, I'll call you back in a bit to let you know how it goes and maybe to get more ideas." spoke Adrien.

"You got it, Bro." said Nino, before hanging up.

Adrien knocked on his Father's office, hoping things go his way for once.

"Enter." he heard his father call.

Adrien entered the room and waited for his father's approval to speak.

"I take it you have some ideas for these days." announced Gabriel from behind his desk.

"Yes, Father." said Adrien, "I called some of my friends for ideas for couples and many of them are old colleagues of both myself and Miss Rossi. On Saturdays, they have couples night karaoke. They also spend their Wednesdays split between gentlemen and the ladies. Friday's are game nights."

"A couple's night out will be relatable and will put your singing skills to use. This gentleman's night will also make you more relatable to your gender, just make sure you do not do anything foolish." spoke Gabriel.

"Of course, Father." calmly said Adrien.

"This 'game night', tell me more." the elder Agreste stated.

"It will be held on Fridays evenings. It is open to everyone. I was hoping to talk with you about relocating it to here, if you allow it?" answered the young model.

"Explain." said Gabriel.

"I was hoping to move this evening to my room. I am well aware I have photoshoots early morning on Saturdays. If I held it here, I could immediatley fall asleep after everyone has left. We can have everyone leave by midnight if you prefer." explained Adrien, "My room is also more equipped to handle a large amount of people and I have a vast amount of systems that can be used. I am told they use this night to destress and once finals approach, they use the night for studying together and help each other with their weakest subjects."

He could feel his father's heavy gaze on him, weighing this idea.

"I will approve this idea, for now, but your friends must be off the premise by midnight and stay only in your room, at a reasonable volume level." said Gabriel.

"Yes, Father. I shall let them know now and will inform Miss Rossi of our planned activities tomorrow." spoke Adrien.

"Very well." said the elder Agreste, with a wave of dismissal.

"So how did it go?" asked Nino.

"He approved of everything!" cried Adrien, excitedly.

"Really?" questioned his best friend.

"Yep. Oh, and I more news. He allowed us to have game night here in my room!" announced Adrien.

"Are you sure that's your Old Man." asked Nino.

"There are some rules." spoke Adrien.

"I spoke to soon." Nino sighed, causing Adrien to laugh.

"I usually have early shoots on Saturdays so everyone has to leave by midnight. We also have to stay in my room and keep the volume to a reasonable level." continued the young Agreste.

"That's cool, Dude. Still open to all genders?" asked Nino.

"Yep. I'm assuming Alya comes to these." chuckled Adrien.

"Nah, she uses it as time to prep for her classes." yawned Nino.

"It is getting late and I have a shoot at 10AM." yawned Adrien in return.

"Night, Bro. Oh, I'll text you the address to the karaoke place." spoke Nino.

"Great. See you tomorrow." said Adrien.

"Tomorrow." said Nino and hung up.

'I can't wait to see everyone again. I wonder what they've been up to. Lila won't be able to manipulate me with so many witnesses.'

When a failed attempt to let Chat Noir down easy ends with Ladybug learning his name, she does what any lovesick teenager would do: teases him mercilessly. Ch 1 Ch 2 Ch 3 Ch 4

Chapter Five

Adrien shuffled into the auditorium, thankful he’d inherited his father’s height. Ladybug might be in the room with him. Maybe he could see her above from his vantage point and tell who she was from a distance, just by her raven hair. What if she was watching him look for her right now?

He ducked down, not wanting to look like an awkward giraffe.

Backpacks brushed against his arms. Students pushed against each other, eager for the break in their classes.

“Nino, I see some seats up there!” Alya pulled her boyfriend toward the front of the room, elbowing past classmates.

“Wait!” Marinette called. Adrien hadn’t realized she was right behind him.

“Sorry! Only two seats over there. Fend for yourself!” And she disappeared into the crowd, Nino and his cap slipping along behind her.

More bodies pressed in behind them, squeezing Marinette up against him until she nearly tripped over his feet.

“Sorry, sorry,” she said, trying to stand her ground and give him space.

“Let’s find a place to sit.” He would probably stand a better chance of seeing Ladybug if he wasn’t worried about needing to catch Marinette if she fell.

Would her hair be the same? What if it was different and he couldn’t recognize her? He sat in the middle of the row, only to stand up again for a better vantage point.

“You seem distracted,” Marinette said.

No one in the row behind him was Ladybug, he was sure of that. He checked them all twice.

“You looking for someone?” she asked.

People were still filing in through the doors, calling to their friends, waving and jumping and obstructing his view.

Marinette huffed and crossed her arms.

Adrien looked down at her. “What’s wrong?”

She slumped farther down in her seat, face turned away, a pencil clutched in one fist. “Nothing’s wrong. Why would something be wrong?”

“You were biting your pencil,” he said, noticing the marks. “You only do that when you’re mad.”

Marinette turned enough to peek at him from the corner of her eye. “I didn’t think you noticed stuff like that. Thanks.”

“Um. You’re welcome?” Not knowing what else to say, he went back to scanning the crowd. Marinette seemed fine, and he didn’t want to waste too much time talking to her. The lights dimmed and went out, and the conversations around them followed the same pattern, and Adrien had to admit defeat. He slumped back into his seat.

The guest speaker welcomed them and then started talking about study skills. Or maybe the brevet. Or the bac. University was mentioned too, at some point. Adrien was more focused on his phone, and all the texts that Ladybug wasn’t sending him. After an hour and over a dozen messages sent to her, he still hadn’t heard anything back. Maybe she wasn’t in the assembly. Maybe she was taking a test? Would it be possible to find a list of all the classes that had tests today?

At the front of the room, whispers started to grow louder, grabbing the attention of the speaker, who stopped pointing at her projector screen and squinted into the crowd. Adrien started scanning the room, looking to where the speaker was looking, toward the end of the front row, and then quickly around the rest of the room. A man stood in the alcove around the emergency exit. Was he a teacher? His sunglasses and the tall pole he held suggested he wasn’t. In the center of the front row, a girl stood up and screamed, pointing at the seat next to her.

Someone was getting to their feet from the seat. Or trying to. They were moving slowly, like molasses being poured. Adrien stood up to get a better view. The other students in the row were leaning away, hands coming up to cover their yells of terror, but their hands were moving too slowly.

Everyone in the room knew what this meant. They’d been through it too many times before to not know. Akuma.

“Move,” Marinette said, rising and pushing him into the knees of the students still sitting next to them. “Move!”

She squeezed past him over three sets of legs until she reached the end of the row, then headed toward the front, toward the danger. Adrien stumbled after her, knocking one kid back into his seat and stepping on someone else’s foot. He didn’t see whose.

When he reached the end of the aisle, it was too late. Marinette had disappeared into the sea of students flooding out of the room. He pushed upstream, catching elbows and deflecting yells and curses from his frightened classmates. He had to catch up with her, and maybe find Nino and Alya.

Marinette appeared in front of him. “What are you doing? Go get help!”

“But–”

She didn’t listen to his argument, instead dragging him ahead, toward the danger, until the crowd thinned. Only a few students remained, ones who were running at one-tenth speed behind everyone else, trying to get away from an akuma who already had them trapped. Marinette ducked behind the front row, crouching out of sight, crawling to the edge of the room.

Adrien followed her, peeking up only once to see what he was dealing with. The pole caught his attention more than the man spinning it. A camera sat on the top. He held it high above his head. A light flashed, brighter than the spotlight pointing to the stage, and the shutter gave a loud click. Another scream from the back of the room. Adrien didn’t need to look to see more students had been hit, their progression through time slowed.

Someone flicked the room’s main light on, and Adrien finally got a look at the man’s familiar face. One he’d seen that morning—one he should have seen ten minutes before he had. “Vincent?”

Marinette whipped around, yanking him down until his chin hit an armrest. “Stay out of sight! We’re almost there!”

Rubbing his chin, he looked past her and saw her target. The emergency exit door. If he could just get her through there, he could turn his entire focus back to the fight.

Vincent was yelling something as they reached the end of the row. It wasn’t very far to the door, but they would have no cover when they ran for it. Marinette edged her way onto the carpeted aisle. The lights on made it even more dangerous. They had no shadows to hide behind. Nowhere to duck for cover if the akuma saw them.

“Now,” Marinette whispered, dragging him by the arm and popping up from her crouch. Their feet slammed against the floor. Adrien cracked his knee on one of the seats as he rounded the corner. Marinette slammed against the door, pulling him through behind her without looking at the akuma and where he was. Adrien stumbled, losing his balance as they went through the wide-flung door and into the empty hallway.

“Go get help!” she yelled at him again as she caught the door as it closed and launched herself back through, leaving him alone.

“Wait!” He clutched at the air where she had been, panic grabbing at him. He had to help her!

But she’d given him the perfect opportunity without even knowing it. No one had gone toward the akuma to get away, and a scan of his surroundings confirmed that it was just him in the hallway. Chat Noir could help her a lot more than Adrien could.

And he didn’t have any more time to make a decision. With three words, he transformed and blasted through the door at high speed. Marinette was holding her own, weaving around the frozen students, drawing Vincent’s fire. His movements were fluid and languid, yet he always knew where to point his camera, nearly catching Marinette when she would peek around someone else’s head or stop to catch her breath. She rolled out of the way while Chat Noir ran, yelling, to draw the fire.

“Over here!” He extended his baton, using it like a pole vault to leap over two kids in his grade whose names he swore he knew, then landing in front of the akuma and smacking the fist holding the camera pole above his head.

“Marinette, run!”

Behind him, she took one ragged, gasping breath, then her shoes squeaked on the floor as she turned to run. Good. Now he could finally focus.

“What happened? I heard you were in a bad mood when you got to work this morning.”

Vincent rubbed his knuckles, grip still tight on the camera pole despite Chat Noir’s hit. “Traffic was not my fault! I should not have been fired for one tardy after years of dedicated work! The lack of understanding and human compassion in that man is astounding!”

Well, he agreed on that point.

“I think this can be worked out without all the villain craziness, don’t you? You’re well respected in the fashion world. The best! That’s why you were hired by Gabriel. I bet an even better offer–”

Vincent swung his camera around. The click and the flash of light he expected, and he dodged out of the way, but the flying tackle he didn’t expect. It forced him backward, and he landed with a thud on his side, legs splayed out, Ladybug sideways on top of him. The beam of light sailed harmlessly above them.

Ladybug grabbed his face in her hands, squishing his cheeks together. “You are so stupid.” Then she pecked his lips.

If he could have stayed there and basked in the knowledge that Ladybug had willingly put her mouth on his, he would have, but Vincent was gliding toward them, camera staff held out like a javelin. Chat Noir grabbed her and rolled them both out of the way, behind a folding table that had been knocked over. The projector lay cracked on its side, shards of glass from the lens glinting.

“What did I do?” he asked, letting her up.

She shook her head and peeked over the edge of the table. “He’s coming.”

The students around them were slowly barreling up the aisle to the back of the auditorium. Far enough out of the way that he hoped they would stay safe.

“We need to move,” he said. “If we get hit, it’s going to be very hard to defeat this one.”

“Already working on some ideas,” she replied. “I’m calling Lucky Charm!”

Chat Noir kicked the table toward the akuma, who yelled in alarm. At the same time, Ladybug reached up, throwing her yoyo and catching a pan full of oil.

“Thank you!” she yelled, as he ran forward to continue his distraction. “I have an idea!”

“Already?” he called over his shoulder. Vincent swung the camera pole at him like a clumsy swordsman. His arc was much too wide to control. All the force in his arm was spent trying to keep the thing moving in the right direction, and none to the strength of the strike itself. It was easy for Chat Noir to parry and step in close to use the other end of his staff to swipe at Vincent’s knees. The man tripped backward.

“You’re going to hate it. It’s going to mess up your pretty hair,” she yelled back. “Now! Let yourself get hit!”

“What!”

After the akuma attack, Adrien had gone home and showered three times using every soap he owned, then had taken a bubble bath for good measure. He wasn’t sure if it was all in his head, but he still felt like he was covered in oil. Ladybug had been right. He’d hated the plan, using the oil to speed themselves up again. The confusion on Vincent’s face was fun, but not enough to counter the vulnerability of being slowed and feeling at the mercy of an enemy.

Marinette was nowhere to be found after the attack. The assembly had been at the end of the day, and she lived so close that she'd probably just run home as soon as it had started. He could have texted her to ask if she was okay, but he ultimately decided to see her in person. She’d been so brave, and had helped him get out quickly to transform, though that one was just by chance. He thought either deserved a visit from a superhero. And he wanted to hang out with someone after the unsettling day.

She was leaning against her railing as he approached, running her hands through her wet hair, and he reflexively copied the movement. Some of the students had gotten hit by the oil. He’d been so certain she hadn’t been one of them. It must have been a coincidence.

“Hey, Princess,” he called as he hopped across the street and soared above her onto her roof. She craned her neck to track his arc directly overhead.

Her smile could have lit up the whole street. It certainly made everything around her seem brighter to him. “You’re here! I can’t believe it! Come down here!”

“Of course I’m here. Got to check on all the crazy civilians who try to stop akumas. Lucky for me you were the only one today.”

He climbed down from the rooftop to her balcony. Marinette’s smile was weaker, like she was propping it up with tape. “You’re just here to check up on me? That’s it?”

“Uh, yes? Well, to say thank you for your help and warn you not to do it again, I guess.” Had she been expecting something else? He’d seen her a few times while he was suited up, and she’d never acted like his presence was unwelcome on its own. Like he wasn’t enough.

“Oh,” she said, shoulders falling and taped-on smile completely disappearing. “Then you’re welcome, I guess.”

“Cool. Good.” He still stood in the middle of her balcony. At the center of all her plants. “I’ll just go then.”

“Wait,” Marinette said before he could extend his baton for a quick escape. “I need to give you something.” And she grabbed him in a hug.

Chat Noir stood completely frozen for the first half of the hug, before finally reaching an arm up and patting her awkwardly on the elbow. “Did you need anything else?” he asked. She would probably let him fix whatever mistake he’d made if she was willing to hug him.

“Yes, but I don’t think it’ll happen today.” She let him go and stepped back, clasping her hands behind her.

“What is it?”

She sighed and shook her head. “Maybe tomorrow. You should go.” She was still shaking her head at him as he slunk back in the direction of his room.
