descriptions / backgrounds for each of them under the cut (they're labeled in purple in the pic!)

A. blossomfrost: white molly with ginger tabby markings and curious blue and yellow eyes. she doesn't rly have a solidified story bc she's been in a lot of different groups and her background has changed each time LOL but she's one of my earliest wcrp ocs!

B. soughcall: light sandy tabby molly with ginger and lilac markings and yellow-green eyes. daughter of loners who brought her to cedarclan out of desperation. she was quite the popular cat and ended up in a relationship with her two best friends, softbreeze and owltuft. the three of them had a litter of four adorable kittens and that was kinda at the point that the group unraveled rip but... she loved being active in their lives as their mom at least for a little while!

C. duckcurl: white molly with brown tabby and ginger splotches, curly fur, and yellow eyes. brand new oc who i literally came up w yesterday LMAO so she doesnt have a backstory yet... but she will 😎

D. bellpaw: curly-furred tom with a pale, pointed coat and deep blue eyes. never really got to rp with him much and put him in several groups so his story changed around a lot... but he is one of my all time favorite wcrp characters. i mean do u see his little floppy tail. come on. also fun fact in the group he was born into he was the son of the leader 😳

E. bramblingwing: white molly with calico patches and amber eyes. my GIRLLLL i had so much fun rping her but this was towards the time when i started Struggling and my activity in wcrp groups took a hit so i never actually met the qualifications for her to be a warrior and her littermates beat her to it :~/ the group she was in went inactive but i ended up giving her a warrior name years later bc she was SO close and she deserved it <3

F. mudbelly: speckled reddish-brown tom with vivid golden eyes. i loved this boy so much :"~) he was very mischievous and loved making messes and going on adventures lol. he's one of my only ocs who ever had a mate (the others are oakheart and soughcall!) but unfortunately the group shut down before they could do anything abt it LOL

G. warblerkit: long-haired blue mink molly with white splotches, one lapis eye, and one cerulean eye. my LITERAL daughter. she is very very very anxious about everything and was going to have a very cool coming of age character arc playing off of the fact that her older sibling was clan leader! but sadly the group closed right before her apprentice ceremony 😔

H. oakheart: dark ginger tabby tom with long fur, black and white markings, and yellow-green eyes. yes his name is oakheart yes i am aware there is a canon wc character named oakheart no i did not choose to name him this yes it has grown on me. my very first wcrp character and one of my all time favorites 🥲 he was basically firestar reincarnated but thats ok. he was so much fun to rp and was just abt to have kits with his mate when the group he was in fell apart rip

I. claudia: long-haired gray and white molly with darker points and kinked whiskers. ship cat who ended up coming onto land and had 3 adorable sons who i TREASURE AND CHERISH: luti (golden brown), corambo (dark red), and camillus (gray and white)! i got to rp these guys maybe like... one single time ever before the group shut down but i love them so much

J. swanbreeze: pale gray molly with tabby patches, tufted ears, sea green eyes, a twisted foreleg, and a twisted jaw. my second ever wcrp oc... her group unraveled and her family unraveled with it LOL but basically when she was a kit she and her three brothers escaped camp and were attacked by a hawk that killed two of the brothers and brutally injured her. her apprenticeship got delayed while her leader figured out what her future would be (bc she could never be a warrior due to her injuries but there were already 2 medicine cats including her one surving brother) but then some evil spirits attacked and destroyed everything (yeah. it was part of the group plot AND part of the drama that ended up tearing the group apart! LOL!) and she got separated from her family forever and abandoned in the ruins. still havent worked out what happened between that and the end of her life but my vision for her is that she ends up killing a hawk that attacks someone she loves (maybe her own kits? idk) and then decides she's "earned" her warrior name and calls herself swanbreeze after breezeclan (her home) as a way to honor / remember her family :"~)

Names for brown cats?

i'm gonna assume that you're asking for warrior names here. either that or you're incredibly lost lmao.

it's hard to pick a good name for you without knowing the character's personality, but i'll do my best! since my only info here is "brown fur", i'm just gonna come up with a bunch of prefixes that make me think of the colour brown.

here goes nothing!

acorn / pine / oak / spruce / sycamore / twig

moss (for some reason i always picture brown cats for the moss- prefix)

thrush / sparrow / talon / wren

dust / dusty

beaver

bracken / bramble / thorn

mouse / shrew

mud / muddy

tawny

usually for suffixes i'd consider the cat's personality, but since i don't have that, i'm gonna look at more common / less personal ones.

nose / whisker / belly / fur / pelt / fang / claw / heart / foot / pad / mask / patch / spot(s) / stripe are all some good general ones that can fit just about any prefix.

flight / wing / chirp / flutter are good for specifically bird-focused prefixes.

leaf / stem / berry / thorn / patch are good for plant-focused prefixes

leap / watcher / chaser are good for animal prefixes in general

my fave prophecy is ‘fire will save the clan’, because it’s short and simple and vague as a prophecy should be, and particularly because Bluestar basically bent the meaning to her own ends.

i’d probably be in Shadowclan. I’m secretive, ambitious, and angry all the time.

So your editing the story again? What exactly are you changing. Cause based on your recent reblog I'm worried that it's going to change certain parts of the rewrite and I'd like some conformation on some of the parts being edited if you don't mind? I just love this rewrite and want to know if I am overthinking this or not

Indeed. I was actually making a whole post for it but I’ll write it here. The overall story stays the same just the elements change

Nothing to drastic, there's probably more but here's what I got. (Undercut won't work for me) The clans are now the colonies. Thunder Colony, Shadow Colony, Wind Colony, River Colony, and don’t forget Star Colony. Bloodclan stays Bloodclan however. River Colony and Shadow Colony leaders have -moon instead of star due to their greater connection to the moon. Thunder and Wind keep the -star through. Windclan and Shadowclan apprentices don’t have -paw. Kittens don’t have -kit at the end of their names anymore River and Wind are often Royal leadership. Shadowclan is 50/50 while Thunder is leader-deputy most of the time. I actually added the overseers and messengers finally. Just fixing the lore a bit but nothing to crazy. I also added head royals and pelt-makers are now called craft-claws. I’m working on Chapter 9 of book 3 as I edit. So nothing’s really on hold like last time. Thunder Colony cats wears gold on some part of their body. Thunderclan leaders wear golden necklaces with gems the color of their eyes. Shadow Colony like swearing clothes and other human stuff they can use. They also use bones for decoration and rituals. River Colony loves their gems. Riverclan leaders wear crowns with gems of their eyes. Wind Colony is the most ‘modest’ colony. The few gems they use are for clan culture purposes and nothing more. Traditions: After a new leader receives their lives, they wear a piece of the moonstone for at least two moons to help absorb Star Colony’s power. Thunder Colony apprentices must fight for their warrior names, they sit vigil afterwards. New River Colony warriors go on the Great Night Swim and must return with as much of black fish as proof. Wind Colony apprentices have dandelions on their fur constantly, they shake them off when they complete their training. New Shadow Colony warriors stand guard in the daytime for their vigil.

Minor notes/Family tree: Graypool is now Grayfeather of Wind Colony. Reedfeather demanded at least one of his kits so Gray is in Wind Colony Splashsong, Swanlight, and Morningbreeze are born and Mudfur is still their father, however Morning chose to stay in Windclan while Swan and Splash left. Mudthorn and Emberdawn are now characters. Mudthorn is Mudbelly’s son from a relationship with a kittypet and Emberdawn is now part of the MallowFrog family in the same litter as Moss and Silver. Aged down Lilystem and made her Rippleclaw’s mate. Strikeheart is a RaggedstarxFoxheart kitten. Yes this was purely to spite Yellowfang (Murkfang) Flowerdusk and Tawnywhisker are ThrushpeltxBluestar kittens.

Thunder Colony

Pinestar was the kit of Cloudberry and Oakstar from a political alliance after Ravenwing’s death. Deerdapple is the mother of Doestar and Deerpaw. Doestar is the mother of Rabbitleap who’s the father of Ambershine. Ambershine and Torndust had Redtail and Spottedleaf and adopted Willowpelt around 4 moons. Mistpelt is the mother of Daisytoe. She adopted Blazenose at 1 moon old after a kittypet raid. Pinestar and Blazenose (Flashnose) had Swiftbreeze. Hollypelt and Smallwhisker (Smallear) wanted kits but weren’t in a relationship. Fuzzypelt was the result of this. Larksong and Flamenose are the parents of Sunstar and Featherwhisker. Beetail is the father of Squirrelwhisker who with Eaglestorm are the parents of Windflight and Woollytail. Petaltail is the mother of Stormtail and Stonepelt. Smallear and Rockfall are littermates. Harepounce and Stagleap had Speckletail. Tawnyspots and Rainfur had Thrushpelt. Tawnyspots got with Leopardfoot and had Miststrike, Nightshade, and Tiger-roar. Swiftbreeze, Adderfang, and Littlestep had Patchpelt and Leopardfoot. Sweetbriar and Shrewpounce (oc) are the parents of Fallowsong who is the mother of Poppydawn. Poppydawn and Windflight had Sweetheart and Thistleclaw, Rosetail was adopted into the family at 1 moon old. Sunstar and Speckletail had Goldenflower and Lionheart. Sparrowpelt and White-eye had Birchstep and Mousefur. Dappletail and Stormtail had Featherstone and Cricket-throat as their first litter and Fogtail as their second litter. Robin and Nutmeg joined Thunder Colony at 9 moons old and were apprenticed to Thrushpelt and Bluemoon respectively. Bluemoon and Thistleclaw had Mossthorn and Buzzkit (who died of greencough.) Bluemoon and Thrushpelt had Flowerdusk and Tawnywhisker. Archeye and Willowpelt had Darkstripe and Lightpaw. RobinRoseFuzzyPatch had Chestnutclaw, Dustpelt, Cherrycloud, and Raveneye. The little group adopted Fogtail prior through. Redtail and Birchstep had Sandstorm and Sparrowpaw (killed by greencough). Brindleface joined the relationship and they had Thymeroot and Rootpaw. Mossthorn had a fling with a kittypet named Joel and had Embereyes as the first litter and Cinderfreeze and Smokefur as the second litter. Thrushpelt and Featherwhisker wanted kits and Willowpelt offered as a surrogate and they had Graystripe and Cranewing. Sweetheart and Patchpelt had Seedspots. Frostbite and Lionheart had Brackenfur, Lichenstrike, Thornpaw, and Brightpaw. Willowpelt had a fling with Tornear and had Smoke, Rose, Ebony, and Owl.

Shadow Colony

Stonetooth is the father of Crowtail and Archeye. Crowtail and Darkwing (Mousewing) had Clawface and Nightpelt. Archeye and Willowpelt had Darkstripe and Lightpaw (who was killed by wolves). Archeye and Hollyflower had Stonesnap and Barktail. Clawface and Rowanberry had Cinderfur and Toadpelt (Stumpytail). Nightpelt had Darkflower and Frogtail. Amberleaf had Brackenfoot. Barkleap (Deerleap) had Mudfoot. Littlebird and Lizardfang had Lizardstripe. Cedarstar and Featherstorm are littermates. Featherstorm had a fling with Hal and had Raggedmoon and Scorchfang. Silverflame and Redthistle had Blazeflower. Blazeflower and Brackenfoot had Yellowfang as their first litter and Rowanberry and Nutwhisker as their second litter. Heatherstar and Highbreeze (OC) had Hawkheart and Lilywhisker. Lilywhisker and Crowfur had Deadfoot. Hawkheart and Lakefur (OC) had Mudfur. Sandgorse and Dawnstripe are kits of Sunleap and Hazelpelt. Palebird and Sandgorse had Duskstar. Palebird later got with Woollytail and had Wrenflight, Flysnap, Bristleclaw, and Rabbit-tail. Dawnstripe had Appledawn. Plumclaw had Darkfoot. Meadowslip and Hickorynose had Sorrelflight and Pigeonwing. MeadowHickoryCrow happened so Sorrel, Pigeon, and Dead see each other as siblings. Stagleap is not related to Doespring or Ryestalk, However, Doe and Rye are littermates since Mousemist (Mistmouse) and Hareflight are their parents. Duskstar and Barkface adopted Ashfoot around 3 moons. Ashfoot and Deadfoot don’t see each other as family and weren’t raised to. Cloudrunner and Aspenfall had Whitetail and Webfoot. Ryestalk had a fling with Marshcloud and had Runningbrook. Larkfoot (Larksplash) and Grasstail had Morningflower as their first litter and Thrushwing and Stoneclaw as their second litter. Darkmoon (Darkstar) is the mother of Reedmoon. Appledusk is the son of Applescale and Volemoon. Hailstep and Echomist are the parents of Beetlestrike, Voleclaw, and Petalstream. Cedarpelt and Marshcloud are littermates. Suneyes and Frogleap are littermates and their parents are Lakeshine and Cedarpelt. Suneyes and Beetlestrike had Vixenleap and Grasswhisker. Shellmoon and Brambleberry are littermates Duskwater and Troutclaw had Rainflower. Dawnscale and Mallowtail are littermates and their parents are Softwing and Owfur. Whitefang and Softwing are littermates. Shimmerpelt and Piketooth had Blackclaw and Skyeyes. Blackclaw and Dawnscale had Rippleclaw and Whiteclaw. Ottersplash and Timberfur had Reedtail, Sedgecreek, and Mudbelly. Mudbelly had Mudthorn with an unknown dam. Greenflower was taken into the clan at 8 moons old. Storm-moon and Bluestar had Mistyfoot and Stonefur. Storm-moon had Willowheart, Minnowpool, and Silverstream with Willowbreeze. Frogleap and Mallowtail had Otterstep (Heavystep) as their first litter, Silvertide, Emberdawn, and Mosspelt as their second litter.

"Because I am.” Sam deadpanned. It didn’t feel like enough though. It felt vague and unfinished and indecisive, especially while he was finishing the last of the wine in his glass before setting it down.

“I’m no good for you.” That wasn’t saying much all things considered. They’d both experienced the worst parts of the world after they fell apart. They’d both become terrible people. They’d both become borderline alcoholics and assassins that scraped by making a living off of the pain and suffering of others. They were the lowest form of scum on the earth. There wasn’t much separating them at this point. But seemingly, Sam still thought better of Roman. Still saw him as kind and good and redeemable in some capacity, and time had convinced him that he as a non-human was just the opposite.

“Do yourself a favor. Get out of here. Leave this life behind. Go back home. Put down the bottle. Start baking those treats your fathers taught us to make as kids. Grow plants like we used to. Make art. Do fuckin’ something other than throwing your life away. You have the opportunity. You have it in you to be someone better. Someone kinder. I know it. But you can’t be that with me.” He sighed, reaching for the wine bottle to pour himself another glass. “I am a ball and chain with gills, and every step you walk with me will be one where you’re ridiculed and threatened. I don’t want that for you. I didn’t choose to be born like this. But I am. So the least I can do is keep you from ending up like me.”

He downed another full glass of the deep red liquid and gestured at Roman to go away, sulking over the counter. He was mere moments away from retching, guts twisting within the confines of his abdomen and forming angry, bruising knots. His stomach snarled at him, disagreeing with the toxic mix of stress and alcohol that has it roiling. “Go.” He said, more softly this time, a hand coming up to his mouth as though to stop the words. A desperate heart’s futile attempts at stopping him from pushing away the love of his life. “You deserve better than a filthy mudbelly like me. Go.”
