descriptions / backgrounds for each of them under the cut (they're labeled in purple in the pic!)

A. blossomfrost: white molly with ginger tabby markings and curious blue and yellow eyes. she doesn't rly have a solidified story bc she's been in a lot of different groups and her background has changed each time LOL but she's one of my earliest wcrp ocs!

B. soughcall: light sandy tabby molly with ginger and lilac markings and yellow-green eyes. daughter of loners who brought her to cedarclan out of desperation. she was quite the popular cat and ended up in a relationship with her two best friends, softbreeze and owltuft. the three of them had a litter of four adorable kittens and that was kinda at the point that the group unraveled rip but... she loved being active in their lives as their mom at least for a little while!

C. duckcurl: white molly with brown tabby and ginger splotches, curly fur, and yellow eyes. brand new oc who i literally came up w yesterday LMAO so she doesnt have a backstory yet... but she will 😎

D. bellpaw: curly-furred tom with a pale, pointed coat and deep blue eyes. never really got to rp with him much and put him in several groups so his story changed around a lot... but he is one of my all time favorite wcrp characters. i mean do u see his little floppy tail. come on. also fun fact in the group he was born into he was the son of the leader 😳

E. bramblingwing: white molly with calico patches and amber eyes. my GIRLLLL i had so much fun rping her but this was towards the time when i started Struggling and my activity in wcrp groups took a hit so i never actually met the qualifications for her to be a warrior and her littermates beat her to it :~/ the group she was in went inactive but i ended up giving her a warrior name years later bc she was SO close and she deserved it <3

F. mudbelly: speckled reddish-brown tom with vivid golden eyes. i loved this boy so much :"~) he was very mischievous and loved making messes and going on adventures lol. he's one of my only ocs who ever had a mate (the others are oakheart and soughcall!) but unfortunately the group shut down before they could do anything abt it LOL

G. warblerkit: long-haired blue mink molly with white splotches, one lapis eye, and one cerulean eye. my LITERAL daughter. she is very very very anxious about everything and was going to have a very cool coming of age character arc playing off of the fact that her older sibling was clan leader! but sadly the group closed right before her apprentice ceremony 😔

H. oakheart: dark ginger tabby tom with long fur, black and white markings, and yellow-green eyes. yes his name is oakheart yes i am aware there is a canon wc character named oakheart no i did not choose to name him this yes it has grown on me. my very first wcrp character and one of my all time favorites 🥲 he was basically firestar reincarnated but thats ok. he was so much fun to rp and was just abt to have kits with his mate when the group he was in fell apart rip

I. claudia: long-haired gray and white molly with darker points and kinked whiskers. ship cat who ended up coming onto land and had 3 adorable sons who i TREASURE AND CHERISH: luti (golden brown), corambo (dark red), and camillus (gray and white)! i got to rp these guys maybe like... one single time ever before the group shut down but i love them so much

J. swanbreeze: pale gray molly with tabby patches, tufted ears, sea green eyes, a twisted foreleg, and a twisted jaw. my second ever wcrp oc... her group unraveled and her family unraveled with it LOL but basically when she was a kit she and her three brothers escaped camp and were attacked by a hawk that killed two of the brothers and brutally injured her. her apprenticeship got delayed while her leader figured out what her future would be (bc she could never be a warrior due to her injuries but there were already 2 medicine cats including her one surving brother) but then some evil spirits attacked and destroyed everything (yeah. it was part of the group plot AND part of the drama that ended up tearing the group apart! LOL!) and she got separated from her family forever and abandoned in the ruins. still havent worked out what happened between that and the end of her life but my vision for her is that she ends up killing a hawk that attacks someone she loves (maybe her own kits? idk) and then decides she's "earned" her warrior name and calls herself swanbreeze after breezeclan (her home) as a way to honor / remember her family :"~)

wait okay so what’s the deal with cloudclan? why do they live separated like that/how did that start? are they separated at birth or after the warrior ceremony/apprentice ceremony… how does it all work?

When Cloudstar originally split off from the cats who arrived in the desert, she didn't expect to find much. All the cats who had followed her had done so in hopes of something more familiar to the grove. Despite the fires that made them leave, it was still a home. When she had run into the mountains, the towering stone reminded her of the cliff faces around the grove. So she had lead her cats up the mountain range, finding a glacier-melt stream to drink from, and all seemed well.

But the thinner-furred cats were struggling with the cold, the similar stone and prey when layered with the unfamiliar climate left them lethargic and unstable. Cloudstar had been trusted to lead these cats to a new home, she couldn't let her members suffer! Besides, new kits born into this place during whatever the desert's Cold Season was would likely freeze to death.

So, despite her own thick fur, she gathered her thin-furred cats to set out back into the desert to find somewhere warmer. Of course, she had learned a lesson from the journey to the mountains that she shouldn't try find somewhere in one trip. Besides, Cloudstar's cats were counting on her. She couldn't just leave them. So, over the course of two moons, she ran short scouting sessions around the desert, mapping out the place and finding somewhere all her cats would thrive.

When enough of these trips occurred, [unnamed early CloudClan cat] realised they had been living on one of a ring of mountains that could shelter a camp that would work for all cats. They quickly told Cloudstar, and she saw what they were going for. A camp placed in the centre of the mountains, where a stretch of desert still lay, but a cooler one with a convenient path that lead up to a higher point in the mountains, close to their glacier river and with some interesting looking unexplored caves.

So, Cloudstar went out with her closest friend (future deputy), [unnamed cat], and [future medicine cat] to check out the place more thoroughly. With half their cats in the desert cradle, and the other half set up higher in the mountains, it would be a perfect damp set up. The caves gave them something to do as they settled as well.

CloudClan were the first to find their modern-Clan home, with OasisClan next, DustClan after, and PaleClan being the last, for they moved camp ~half way through the Clan's existence.

That's the origins of the mountain split, as for how things work, it's not a strict split? I see it more like past WindClan, with tunnel diggers and moor runners or whatever they were called.

As mentioned, the mountains are cold, so kits are born in a half-way point between the desert and the mountains. Rather temperate. When they're apprenticed, it's always to someone with similar fur-thickness, so training and patrols and hunts can be done in the same place. So, separation is just about what's comfortable really, and it's not like you have to live all separate, you can still visit and stuff, and some stubborn cats live with their littermates or friends. It's not exactly strict but if a medicine cat deems it to be detrimental to their health they are pushed back to a better climate.

examples of stubborn cats include- Mintpaw and Bellpaw, who stay in the mountains with their mother Dewpetal, and Blueflip, who lives in the desert with his mother, Riverclaw (until he moves to the mountains with his mate Snowflight)

like the separation is mostly who sleeps where, hunting, and training, when you have no tasks you can literally just dip anywhere you want

Moon 3 : Greenleaf : Year 3

Palejaw has a kit with an outsider molly, who joins the clan for a short time to nurse the kit. She does not offer her own name, but names the kit Greenkit.

Mudpelt has a kit with an unnamed tom, naming the kit Sloekit.

Bellpaw passes his assessment and travels to the Star Hollow to receive his warrior's name. He is named Bellshine.

Beetletail and Dead are ambushed by a coyote while on patrol. Dead is killed, but not before putting up a very serious fight that allows Beetletail to escape. Beetletail relays the news to Tumblesong and Rosepaw, who mourn for the rest of the moon.

A loner tom is brought into the clan alongside his kits after he was pursued by the troublesome gang of rogues. The tom is named Curlypelt, and his kits Robinkit, Hickorykit, and Pigeonkit.

Poppygorse and Eiderblotch are attacked by a loner near the river, and Eiderblotch accidentally kills them during the fight. Poppygorse swears not to tell the clan what happened, and Eiderblotch develops anxiety over the experience.

Warriors Generations

This is a series I decided to do focusing on different groups of cats from all five Clans and focusing on how the Clans might evolve over time. This is just the first series and the characters but there’s more.

Series One

Skyclan

Ottertail’s Generation

Main Characters

Otterpaw/tail- Former apprentice of Riverclan that moved to Skyclan near the end of her training. She is brave, loyal, hotheaded, and kind. She and her leader, Hawkstar, are always butting heads because of their different views on how to lead the clan.

Bellpaw/whisker- Former kittypet that joined the clan when she was still pretty young. She’s Ottertail’s best friend and she started the trades between clans. She’s smart, kind, and beautiful.

Coalpaw/heart- Ottertail’s friend. He’s distant, broody, and not very good at dealing with his feelings. He’s very deductive and has solved a lot of mysteries around camp.

Boulderpaw/heart- Coalheart’s younger brother. He’s fun-loving, energetic, and funny. As the youngest of the four, the others-especially Coalheart-always see him as a little brother.

Secondary Characters

Wrenkit/paw- A young she-cat with the ability to see Starclan spirits and summon them.

Goosewhisker- Ottertail’s former mentor who was always tuckered out because of Ottertail’s energy. He is Wrenpaw’s father. He’s kind of stubborn, short-tempered, and wise.

Opalleaf- Boulderheart’s nurserymate. She’s incredibly sweet but can hold a grudge. Otherwise, she’s pretty trusting.

Silverwhisker- A senior warrior with a no-nonsense attitude and Coalheart’s former mentor. She’s blunt and strict but has a soft spot for Ottertail and her friends.

Leafkit and Heronkit- Wrenpaw’s younger brother and sister. Both are super eccentric, Leafkit always asking a thousand questions per second while Heronkit is always causing trouble by getting into stuff he shouldn’t.

Here are the trees! Jellyfish helped raise Turtles kits though did not adopt them. Crab cared for his own kits after they were weaned.

Also fun update! Jellyfishshade and Bassleap are having litters, one of them having a partner within the clan. Won't say who though 😊

Moon 9 : Leafbare : Year 2

Acornmoon gets in a violent fight with a loner who trespassed on Pineclan territory, earning a scar from his efforts. The injury gets infected and Acornmoon has to stay in the cleric's den for a few days to recover.

Coyotepaw, Eiderpaw, and Leopardpaw all pass their assessments, and travel to the Star Hollow to receive their warrior names. They are named Coyotesight, Eiderblotch, and Leopardpaw, respectively.

Dead, in an example of great strength, hunts and kills a hawk. She earns a mighty scar in the process.

A kittypet named Belly is discovered wandering around by Sandpaw, who happily brings him back to camp. Belly is allowed into the clan and is given the new name Bellpaw, and apprenticed under Sunshimmer.

Yewstar loses another life, this time at the jaws of a fox atop the Cliff Edges.

Sunshimmer shows Bellpaw the Star Hollow; the latter is amazed, so much so to the point they hear the clan's ancestors voices.
