I was wanting to try doing an art piece in the style of the signature spell poster art pieces you create. But I’m not really the best at coming up with a composition for such a thing.
Do you have a process for how you come up with the compositions for them?
oh, awesome! it is an INCREDIBLY enjoyable style to work in; I hope you have fun with it! :D
I'm not great at putting my thought/art process into words, so my apologies if this doesn't make a lot of sense, but I'll try! my first step is always to do a LOT of thumbnails to figure out both the idea and how I want to show it; not trying to do a real sketch or anything, just little doodles to figure out what exactly I'm trying to portray. (I also call these "garbage passes" because they're not meant to be any good, they're just there to throw things out. aha. ha. ...anyway.) I think it's important during that first stage to really focus on the idea and the layout and not to get too bogged down in the actual drawing yet!
I tend to save my final thumbnails, so I'll use 'em as examples (I posted the ones up through episode 5 here if you're interested!) (and, uhhh, spoilers through episode 5 also in this post, hopefully that won't be an issue!)
the main thing I try to think about in composition is balance -- not necessarily in terms of symmetry, but in where each element is placed and how much space it's taking up. remember, empty space is still space! it's also really important to think about the parts that don't have anything in them, as much as the parts that do!
personally, I like to divide things up roughly by both halves and by thirds -- there's a lot more in-depth info out there on why the "rule of thirds" in particular works well visually, but in short, our brains tend to focus on things that are placed closer to imaginary division lines, instead of in the exact center of an image. so even when I'm doing something that is very centered and symmetrical, I try to keep that in mind and generally aim around those for landmarks like faces/eyes (or...where they would be, anyway) and other focal points.
it's not a formula of "the character's face should be in this division of this grid" or anything, more like "our minds like to focus on these areas, let's think about how to use that", if that makes sense! and of course rules are made to be broken, art is lawless anarchy, and so on. but it can be a good starting place for deciding where you want to put things!
(blue - thirds, red - half)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
and against the finished versions, because they do usually end up changing a lot (including the empty space of the border):
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(...these actually lined up a lot better than I thought they would. :') it makes me look like I do things way more intentionally than I do.)
other stuff I just try to keep in mind is that our eyes like following arcs and paths, which can be a good way to guide the eye:
Tumblr media
and frame and control the focus:
Tumblr media
honestly, composition is one of those things I feel like I struggle with a lot, so I'm not sure how much of this is helpful or actually makes sense outside of my head. but hopefully it helps a little! it's all just stuff to think about while drawing and not anything hard-and-fast, so don't, like, stress out about making sure things are lining up exactly on the thirds or anything. again, it's more "our brains think these are the dopest parts of the rectangle" than anything else! take advantage of the cool parts of the rectangle!
NOW GO HAVE FUN DRAWING seriously though, it is always super cool that other people like this idea and style enough to want to do it themselves and for other/their own characters! thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

Welcome to the Polycule | Amon | Trial 6.1 : RE: helio, dragom, caleb, etc.
Time loops, possible new relationships, friendships, and unpredictable factors? Heliotrope brings up a very interesting concept! It's like what fanfiction is all about! But as much as he really wants to interrupt this entire trial to get Bo and Mari's attention and draw them back to one of their previous debates on what fanfictions are, in a 'THIS IS A PRIME EXAMPLE TAKE NOTES' kind of way, he uses every muscle in his idiot brain to resist the urge. Maybe after this is over and they get some free time. There is much to discuss.
"I'd like to imagine if we somehow 'popped the balloon' that was all these time loops and converged them into one, that we'd all be in some sort of impressive polycule that's either found some way to be the most healthy, or the messiest I've ever seen. And I'm thinking its probably the latter. It'd be like a love triangle, but instead of a triangle, its an advanced fractal. Excluding Ben and Jerry's over there. That marriage is timeless."
He thinks back to the chart however, if they're trying to piece together who may be who, Amon's got a view ideas as to his own identity.
"I can't figure out if I'm 4 or 14!"
He crosses his arms, tilts his head, and the gears inside start cranking.
"4 made that evil kombucha, which as much as I hate to admit I could totally killed somebody with bad kombucha. I don't even know how its made, do you just leave tea on a sunny window sill for a week or something?"
HELP
"But on the other hand, I could totally see myself in 14's shoes and trying to use I'm baby as a defense because at times, I truly am baby. Please agree. But the hang up I have for 14 is that I'd hate to imagine somehow killing eight people in the worlds worst coincidental conga line of events, but also if I died drinking someone else's evil kombucha, who here would make a worse kombucha than me?!"
He closes his eyes and nods his head.
"You can see my problem here, can't you? I'm totally stumped! If you're baby, please raise your hand!"
He raises his own hand. Stop it.

The world does not slow down for anything. Not for catastrophes or miracles or even something as devastatingly common as death.
When your boyfriend of three years, Namjoon, lost his life due to another's drunken mistake, you realized this. The world revolves on a scheduled orbit, and not even your tragedy wedged a wrench big enough to halt life just a moment. Just to let you breathe and grieve without feeling left behind. However, you were left behind, both by the world and him.
Every sun and moon, every skipped meal, every unfulfilled rain-check, every isolated Saturday night, and every cancelled audition that came as quickly as they left paid tribute to this merciless phenomenon. It seemed you now existed just to watch the days pass, just to balefully relive the moments before Namjoon's passing. And that seemed to have been the only way you could have survived. To make a recluse of yourself because if the world was careless enough to let someone as amazing as him go, then what held it back from spilling even more wreckage into your life? For the past six months, you stuck to the cold, dead past. It was all you had to hold onto; letting go meant plummeting into a depth far too unknown and inescapable.
You and Namjoon were steadfast. You were still steadfast, or more appropriately, stuck now that you had no one to be loyal to anymore.
You and him were one of those couples other people saw and wished they could replicate into their own lives, but when it came down to it, rooted for your happy ending with him. The type similar to that of highschool sweethearts who beat the odds, or the type whose encounter fell along the silver lines of fate. Something beautiful that automatically made all the love poems authenticated by you and him. And when he held you, the idea of worry or evil seemed like concepts that did not exist past fictional tales. So warm, so loving, now gone.
The way in which you and Namjoon grew over the three years you were able to love him was in a convergent manner.
Your branches and vines were woven into his, and his into yours. Even your roots, the elements of your past, began to entangle beneath the soil. To root between each other meant there had been a foundation from which you grew, a stability that was once neat. There was no boundary of which would discern your life from his. And at one, more favorable, point in time, your life did belong to him. Namjoon was someone you only knew for a mere fraction of your life, however the moment he wandered into it, you had unlearned how to continue without him.
You didn't think you would have to relearn.
But then one decision forced you to do so. One person, who decided paying fifteen bucks for an Uber was not a wise enough investment, ripped out the plant of his body from your shared soil by means of inebriated judgment and a missed red light. You had no choice but to absorb the cruel sustenance of the sun completely alone. Most of your branches of life were left barren, with torn twigs where your body once borne fruit and leaves and beauty. But the roots were where most of the pain inhabited. A stubborn, sharp ache resided in your chest, deep enough that you might have had to be cut open and searched through to find the source.
It had been six months of 'Sorry for your loss' and 'Gone too soon' and your personal least favorite 'He's in a better place now'. It made you angry, because was there a place better for him that didn't have you in it? How could anyone know what was better for him when they didn't experience something as tender and gentle and loving as your relationship?
But none of the sympathetic smiles or half-hearted condolences made you quite as angry as the monster who was too selfish to call someone to drive them and consequently punctuating the eternity you were meant to spend with Namjoon. You always followed the virtue that an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Forgiveness was a sweeter release than anything else, but if you could, you would take that drunk driver's life in a heartbeat. You would have gauged out your own eyes if the chance fell into your reach.
Though, no matter how hard you screamed at the universe for hurting you, despite the countless pleas to somehow retrospectively tell Namjoon not to go out for something as trivial as toothpaste so he might be alive today, holding your hand in this waiting room, telling you that you're going to do great, you knew the world wouldn't stop for you or your sorrow.
It revolves, waits for no one, and you had to pace yourself to jump back into the turning carousel of life.
"___. We're ready for you!" His voice was ten notches above a volume that wouldn't irritate you. The only hint you let slip that his tone made you want to throw this script at his crotch was the muted sigh.
You knew this audition was going to play out like the rest. They would ask you to read, stop you in the middle of your monologue, then say something like 'Thank you for your time, we'll get back to you soon' which was show business code for 'We are not giving you the role'. The only reason you were here was because you had been out of work for too long, the piles of overdue bills on your kitchen table a cruel reminder of that. Plus, you knew Namjoon would have told you to go.
He would have said something like, 'Get your lazy ass out of bed and go to that audition! You don't want Hollywood to miss out on a star just because you want to sleep in fifteen more minutes'. And it would have worked. It always had. Now, the only motivation that came to your aid was the echo of his voice, and even that had begun its slow descent into forget. Other than that, guidance of your own volition was as fleeting and disarrayed as a violent wind.
"Hi, my name is ___, and I will be auditioning for the lead. Jordan." Your hand must have been fielding its way through a nervous tick. The person you assumed was the director was eyeing the way it had been contorting at your side, and you hated showing that you were nervous.
"Perfect! We've already casted the other lead role. This audition will mostly be based on whether we think you'll have good chemistry with him." Him. So your possible running mate was a man. Before a list of names engraved on rows of stars cemented into the Hollywood walk of fame ran through your head, you lifted the script and collected all the air your lungs would allow.
Maybe, you thought, my courage and passion might come with it.
And when you opened your mouth, something magical that you credited to talent claimed sovereignty over your body. Now, you were Jordan. Jordan didn't have a dead boyfriend, now ex boyfriend, or luggage enough grief to sink a depression into the crust of the Earth. Jordan was a kind, low-energy, and sentimental artist coming into an age of overwhelming success and fortune —and love.
That's what alluded you in acting. For a moment, you could escape your life, leave your pain on the back burner while you emerged into someone who was unacquainted with the pain of losing the love of your life. It was akin to a drug, administering an intoxicating fill of temporary serotonin. Instant relief, and if you got this job you would have your fix of this twisted sort of high that tempered the Namjoon-sized void in your life. And Jordan's life definitely seemed to have, quite literally, all the things yours lacked.
"Wow, ___, was it? That was absolutely incredible!" The hand-covered whisper that followed this appraisal gave you time to begrudgingly peel of the Jordan mask. Within a half second, all the pain seemed to compound into your body. If you hadn't already shaped your entire life around that weight, you would have fallen over. Though you had done this, and even worse, you had been shouldering it for so long, you would have felt naked without such a burden. "Okay, well, we have a few more auditions but I think we have our Jordan! We'll send your manager the full script along with the schedule for the first week of shooting in about two weeks."
"Uh-" If you had not said something quick, the opportunity might have slipped away all too fast, the way Namjoon had. You vowed to grab hold of anything remotely good that arose into your life, giving you more than late nights of choked sobs and transfixed gazes out of half-curtained windows. This offer was clutched tightly in your fist. "Oh... Th- thank you! Thank you! Fuck, thank you so much. This means so much to me, thank you!"
Before you proliferated the meaning of the words thank you and the director's smile turned into rolled eyes, you stumbled your way out of the door. Waiting on the other side was a world that might strike against you with partially docile cruelty. The wind pressed against your skin, almost blowing away all your grief with the help of this successful audition.
That feeling, as always, was as comforting as it was fleeting. Because the scars of your past would not have budged for any brash current. Because your next thought disrupted the scant flourish of joy. It was the thing that came easier and sooner to you than eating and blinking; telling Namjoon any news of both good and bad ranks, sharing your life to celebrate or stress over. One of the many things that remained by an undissolvable adhesive along your mind. You tried to soak it away with liquor or smoke it out with weed, but there was no breaking of habits you loved almost as much as Namjoon.
I did it, Joon. I landed my first role. You thought, because that was the closest you could have gotten to relaying the news.
Your heart began to physically hurt. Heartaches were literal in your case. Literal and grim. You felt the grip of loss pierce its sharp thorns into your flesh. It had nearly been as painful as all the times your words were met to deceased ears, speaking to someone that had not belonged to you anymore. Six months had passed and pain cannot tell time in the way people can. So, you knew the marathon of your grief was one that followed its own metaphorical clock. You just had to keep running in hopes you could make it out alive.
Though, being Jordan for the next six months would help momentarily satiate your grief. If there were a remote for your emotions, this role would be the mute button. Your pain would still move as it usually would, but now it would be silent. You wouldn't have to listen to its unforgiving taunts and crippling obscenities. It was only just that you were paid reparations for six months of utter misery with six more months of narcotic, soundless distractions.
Two Weeks Later
If the universe had given you one good thing, it was skill and dedication to your craft. The script was memorized in just short of four days, and even a sizable amount of lines of the other characters had been stacked atop your memory. Doing an acceptable job at this role wasn't something that was worried you. In fact, the idea of wearing another's life on your body and on your heart was something you looked forward to.
It was a bit difficult to convince yourself how good this natural born gift was when the universe took something that felt a thousand times more crucial to your existence. Acting, or anything else that planted joy in you, was a consolation prize for merely participating in life. Namjoon was the reward you were meant to win in the end.
And you had no idea what the hell to do when the prize becomes in all of the sense of the word unattainable.
You hadn't driven in six months, despite the run-down Honda parked in front of your street, desperate to be given some sort of purpose. It was too much. Ever since the accident, the idea of manning a wheel that could take away more than it could ever offer was a responsibility you felt entirely too daunted to assume. Even though seat hogs, missed busses, and overcrowded walkways had been inconveniences of an indescribable level, it wasn't enough to put your body into the same vehicle that derailed your life.
Luckily, the bus stop was only three blocks away from the studio. It gave you plenty of time to get into character, however it also nestled in a span of time for Namjoon's voice to filter in and out through running your lines.
He talked to you a lot. As much as it made you want to cry, you held onto it, feeling as though it might be the last of his voice you'd be able to recall. If Namjoon's internal commentary were to suddenly disperse, you might forget his voice entirely. And you wouldn't admit this to anyone else, but you would always answer back. Sometimes out loud, and sometimes, when company forced you into sanity, you responded mentally. It kept you separate from life and any form of interaction with actual people, but it felt better than living in a world without him. Additionally, it helped keep his voice alive, which when you thought about it, was such sick irony. His voice, alive, his heart and mine and soul, dead.
And that was the only downside to acting. When there was another mind you had to engage in, Namjoon couldn't have broken the barrier and his voice wouldn't even register as an echo. Perhaps that was why you waited so long to dive back into your job. It felt synonymous with betrayal to do anything that would sever your connection already hanging by a single, fragile thread.
"___? Hello?" You were immune to every condescending gesture or vernacular weaponized in Hollywood by now. Your makeup artist's snaps fell into the base of annoyance you had grown used to. "Did you hear me? You're all ready."
Her voice wasn't too abrasive. If anything, you should be the one apologizing for dazing in and out of consciousness. Though, Namjoon's sweet compliments about how beautiful you looked with your stage makeup should have been the one to acquire this remorse.
"Sorry. I'm, uh, tired. Not used to waking up at six in the morning quite yet."
"Well, get used to it, or you'll have a rough few months ahead of you." Her laugh had shed whatever shell of pretentiousness once veiled her previous impression. "I'm Nayeon, by the way. I've heard many great things about you, ___. Let's hope you live up to the hype."
Nayeon's nudge was friendly, and it comforted you that within the first day you hadn't pissed off the person who could easily turn your face clown-like with a few heavy strokes of her brush. She was beautiful, too. If she hadn't been dressed in a black T-shirt strewn with foundation and powder stains, then you would have mistaken her for an actress.
"Let's hope so... I guess the director was selling me better than myself." Your eyes scanned the area, though no one seemed a fitting candidate to be your lead. "So, who's the other lead?"
"Park Jimin. I'm surprised they didn't tell you yet. I guess it's some obscure, artistic director decision to keep you in the dark. I’m lowkey fangirling right now… But, don't tell anyone that." Before you could respond, let alone react, Nayeon had collected all the products she needed for her next subject and was about a yard away from you. "Good luck, rookie!"
Park Jimin. You've definitely heard of him, but it surprised you that someone like him accepted a role in a romantic, indie, coming of age film that had not the budget to pay half of what he usually made in his repertoire of previous movies. He was certainly what one would consider an 'A-list' celebrity. The type paparazzi actually cared to stalk, and fans recognized in public, but were too shy to approach due to his sheer intimidation. It hadn't eased your nerves that he was notoriously withdrawn when it came to the behind the scenes portion of shooting a movie.
And, like any decent person, you did your very best to refrain from placing judgments without the opportunity for them to fill in their own narrative. Most of what you ‘knew’ of Jimin had been hearsay. However, you had some hunch Jimin wouldn't qualify as one who labored tirelessly for the roles he had landed or authenticated any sort of compassion with his rising fame.
See, acting and snagging a big role in a movie was characterized as a tall building for you. If one reached the top floor, then they would assume a wealth of opportunities and Oscar nominations and acclimation. Of course, this film industrial structure had various modes of climbing to the top. Some had stairs which called for more excretion and effort but still, all you needed were persistent legs, then each step would eventually get you where you wanted to be.
You had more of a ladder. Each wrung was slanted at an angle of which only deepened your brawl with success and had not been sanded down enough to save you from a generous supply of splinters. After a while, your hands began to ache and the fear that some high-society type would kick the base of your ladder always stalked the forefront of your worries. It certainly had not been a choice means of arrival to whatever awaited you on that top floor, however it was the only one available.
And while you had a ladder to overcome, Jimin had an elevator. The most he'd ever expend to reach that coveted floor was a few presses of a button. And perhaps his only sacrifice would be sharing the elevator with one or two others. Things just worked out for people like him. And an elevator’s delivery was always in a manner that was quicker than the likes of a staircase or a ladder.
When he arrived on set, dragging himself like his own body was a weight he shouldn't have to carry himself, you fought that instinct of yours to assume everything you needed to know from him.
Just because he's wearing sunglasses inside doesn't mean he's some arrogant asshole, even if that is the most cliché character trait of one. This internal lecture was certainly of Namjoon's doing, since he was always one to never run out of allotting the benefit of the doubt.
Yeah, I guess. But, come on, he looks like a fucking idiot. You replied as if he were really there before walking up to the callous man with your gauntlet thrown down by default. No need getting on Jimin's bad side, because you were sure it's complement was being blacklisted from the film industry. Instead of sharp edges you offered him a non-threatening smile and handshake.
Play nice. Namjoon reminded you before you had the chance to decide what you wanted to say.
"Hi! It's such an honor to be working with you. I'm ___." Jimin looked at your hand like you had filled it with mud and were intending on smearing his Gucci jacket, which you assumed was worth more than your monthly apartment rent. "Um, wanna touch base before we start shooting or..."
If his admonished glare at your hand wasn't encouragement enough to retract it back into yourself, then what he said, or more fittingly, what he didn't say next was.
The way his sigh infused a scoff within it made you feel small. It felt like fire, how thoroughly it burned you into a pile of ash, but then it felt like a gust of prickled wind that would scatter your remains completely. If it had not been for the way his head shifted from your head to your toe, you wouldn't have known that his shielded eyes were trailing the length of your body. Such a glare seemed like a calculation of your worth; it must have totaled out to that of a fly he had to swat away because the second you stood on the outside of his peripheries you stopped existing in his world altogether.
His back made a longer impression on you than his eyes, and that was your que to huddle yourself in the corner and stick to the two things you were best at.
Imaginary conversations with Namjoon and rerunning through your already memorized lines.
Before you say anything, I already think he's a prick. It might be pathetic to have instigated theoretical conversations with your dead boyfriend, but the world wouldn't know he would have scolded you first for already constructing an agenda to avoid Park Jimin whenever you could. You just felt an itch to lay down the first word.
You never know, maybe he had a bad day.
Yeah, well people like him don't need to be professional unlike the rest of us. I mean, I'm on the verge of openly conversing with you and I'm the one that has to turn the other cheek? Your script was decorated with a number of wrinkles. Proof that your anger was sleeping from your insides in the form of tightly gripped hands that were pretending to pinch Jimin's skin instead of the script. For once, you felt some grain-sized semblance of luck for having a grasp of acting to pull off pretending to love Jimin.
"Hey." You weren't quite thrilled to meet the person you had imagined pushing down a staircase standing over you. Without his glasses, it was difficult to remember why you had been so angry with him and you hated that. His eyes consisted of more than just irises and pupils, though you would not have been able to place what exactly accompanied these features. They were just eyes, after all, parts of a body. Functional. Mechanical facets of being. And yet, his seemed more than that. More than just sense mechanics. Perhaps beauty.
But for him to have been beautiful, it would have tainted the very idea of beauty.
"We're about to start shooting. Don't make this difficult, I'm trying to leave on time."
"Okay... Sure." Those were the two words you substituted for the 'fuck you' itching to crawl from your throat.
"I'm Jimin, but you know that already." The way he spoke was punctuated as though it was a waste of his time to spend any attention on you. If you weren't already drained of your strength from that tube of toothpaste that was some sort of paraphernalia of the night Namjoon became an article of your past, then you would have rolled your eyes or retorted with something that would knock him down a peg.
"I do." Your own weak will bothered you more than Jimin. "Um, I-"
"Let's not." Though he had no idea what you were about to say, a part of you agreed to not even indulge in small talk with him. It would be too forced and uncomfortable and that might leak into your performance on camera. Still, he had an abrasive way of going about it that made you want to disagree with him just to be able to lie contrary to him.
"Fine." It rolled off your tongue easily, like silk. His lingering eyes had you wondering if you somehow impressed him with your passive agreement or insulted him for not groveling for his approval. Either one would have satisfied you.
"Alright! Looks like you two got acquainted. We're jumping right in." The director, Kim Seokjin, was chirpy. Even if this project wasn't necessarily mainstream or highly anticipated, he was the type to salvage all his passion and pour it into anything he created. It comforted you knowing someone other than you found this to be somewhat life changing. "Please, Jimin, ___, on your marks. This is the scene where you two meet, so we're hoping you two can infuse that feeling of being slightly awkward but nevertheless enthralled in each other's presence. Got it?"
"Yessir." You said, and Jimin only produced a nod which seemed generous for him. Fighting the urge to snarl or squeeze your brows together came as a difficulty you had to practice at.
"Slate! Quiet on set..." Seokjin’s voice filled the empty space of the entire studio.
"Scene one, take one." Just as the snap of the slate reverberated through the room, your eyes changed just as abruptly. Your gaze upon the set transformed it into your reality. You looked at Jimin and now saw Laurie, a young soul filled with enough dreams and kindness one could have mistaken him for a cloud; the kind that spoke in loving whispers and gentle caresses. He reminded you a lot of someone else you knew.
You tucked Namjoon's voice away with the rest of your grief and became Jordan.
Amazing things seemed to happen when you least expected them too. You guessed that was the nature of amazing things, for if you expected them then they probably wouldn’t feel so amazing. About halfway through the scene, after a number of cuts, re-shoots, directorial notes, you noticed something. Or more so, this something willed you to notice.
Once you fell into stride with your character, it became easier to pick up on the person acting opposite of you. Maybe you hadn't given Jimin enough credit before. You knew maybe was an understatement, though you felt a sting admitting talent had fallen into his hands just as all his accomplishments had.
Jimin's acting rested on the side most polar to your own. You replicated, he revolutionized. You became your character, shrinking yourself enough so that one wouldn't have been able to tell who you were beyond who you were playing. Jimin, however, made the character his own. There was no minimizing his own body to fit into the mold of the character. Jimin was the mold, and he sculpted the character to fit along himself. He forged his movements, voice, and confidence into whichever role he played and brought life to someone strewn with a signature of his own soul polishing said character. All the while, he was inventive with each intention and emotion that were strung into his lines.
It was difficult to pull this off, being that you could easily begin to just play yourself in a movie and neglect any character mannerisms that you were supposed to portray, however Jimin seems to slip in and out of his role with ease. And with each take, he peppered in more dimensions to a character. He gave meaning and depth to a person constructed onto a paper script until you couldn't believe this person didn't exist in real life.
That was the amazing thing that kept your well-rehearsed lines behind an impermeable wall of reluctant admiration.
What hadn't helped, though seemed to have been timed to a tee to unwind your sensibility, and timing had always worked against you like you had done wrong to it, was the part when Laurie was written to sneak his hand along your waist after Jordan stepped backwards into his body.
His palm felt so warm. So warm that the entire world felt too cold for you to be anywhere but apart from his touch. Then, all your lines spilled from your recollection. He was standing close behind you, the plush of his cheek tickling your ear and sending the entire world away so you and he could reserve this moment just for yourselves.
"Your line." His whisper wouldn't be picked up by the mic, though it had no trouble debilitating the rest of your senses. Did he intend for it to blur any sort of attraction his character felt for you into the life beyond the camera?
The director called cut to the scene, and it felt like a lifetime before you were released from the entrapping heat of Jimin's body. When you spun around, hoping you could at least dig through your throat to pull out a deflated apology, the smirk laced along his lips illustrated every bit of his arrogance and once again shut you up.
From the way his eyebrow was arched, you assumed he must have read your mind. He knew what he did to you, and it reminded you of everything you disliked about Jimin. Presumptuous, prideful in his taunts. It also reminded you that he stood many floors above you in this architectural competition of acting. You were grabbing hold of each wrung as you went, unprepared for something as disarming as Jimin. All he had to do was peer down at the sight of you to make you feel a hundred times lower than him.
“___? What’s wrong?” You looked over to find Seokjin’s half worried, half irritated expression.
“No, nothing. Sorry, I just blanked for a second.” Jimin’s snide chuckle at your confession to a faulty performance didn’t help simmer the burn of embarrassment.
"It’s okay, I get it.” The director offered a smile as a peace offering, and since he looked not seven years older than you, it had you assuming he was the laid-back type. “Let's take five. We'll block a few of the scenes and finish the rest of this and we'll call it a day."
You made your nest over at the snack bar. Shoving half of a donut into your mouth had almost resurged your energy. Nayeon made a swift return to pat your face with more powder.
"Hey, you're pretty damn good." You were stuck with a mouthful of donut to null any chance of responding. "Except for when you kinda just shut down at that last scene."
You would have felt embarrassed, or rather more embarrassed than you currently did, if it weren't for the light laugh that followed. All you had to reply with was a shrug.
"I mean, I don't blame you. Jimin's pretty hot and if I were cozying up to him during a scene I'm sure I would also fuck up my lines." Nayeon finished applying whatever touch ups she felt necessary, not without a suggestive eye arch. This either meant she was going to shuffle over to another actor in need of visual repair or she would stay and talk. Her continued monologue advocating for Jimin's talents and good looks proved the latter was what you had in store. "I mean, damn. Also, I'm pretty sure he's got abs under that shirt. So, are you into him? Is that it?”
"It's not like that." The harsh delivery gave an impression contrary to what you said. "I mean, I just... He's just really good at this. I guess I got kinda intimidated."
Normally, you would have sought Namjoon's voice ringing in your head about how you could do this, reminding you how he believed in you. It would have gotten you through the scene however, Jordan didn't know Joon.
"Well, he won an Oscar for a reason, babe." You finished the rest of your donut and begun a prowl for another savory comfort food. "I mean, damn, twenty-five and already winning Oscars and getting nominations. It ain't for nothing."
"Yes, this is helping so much, thank you." You twisted in sarcasm as if that would make you seem any less intimidated. Again, Nayeon laughed off any shroud of roughness coating your words.
"What, do you want me to lie? Is that how you want to start this friendship, with lies?" Her elbow nudged you, and that alone communicated more than the brief exchanges you two shared. Now, you had a friend. Someone else to talk with that wasn't a figment of your own imagination.
Look at you, already making friends. Your smile was not as hidden as you attempted for it to be. Namjoon's little encouragements had that effect on you.
"What's that smile for?"
"Oh, nothing." You scarfed down the mini muffin, turning towards Nayeon. "Just happy my makeup artist goes easy on the blush."
She winked, and you felt ready to be sent back into the throes of this film. You weren't keen on Jimin feeling closer to a competitor than a partner in this project, however if that is how he wanted it to be, you were never one to submit so easily. You were determined to level this playing field, and your communion with victory felt like a well-deserved birthright.
"Thought I told you I wanted to go home on time, rookie." You watched his lips shape such venomous words, since his eyes, the unnamed, nearly beautiful presence, might have sunk you back into that state of speechlessness.
"I take it you're not a method actor, since Laurie is so sweet and you're a fucking ass." It felt good for all of one second before a series of reprimands fueled by none other than Namjoon now had you on the brink of apologizing.
"Feisty, huh?" Again, his lips eased out sharp words as if they would not nick the plump skin as it went.
You hoped Joon had nothing to say about how you were now tracing the lush of Jimin's lips. And yes, it had been six months, though you knew your love-ridden heart had yet to free its hands from grabbing hold of Namjoon, still, the feeling of attraction, no matter how brisk it might have been, felt like you were committing adultery. Adultery, over someone who was dead. You weren't the one who left him behind, and at the same time, you never got that shiny patent of closure. There was no break-up, so perhaps that was an explanation as to why your heart was foolishly stuck in love, never realizing its oath to loyalty was graced upon the deceased.
You thought of love now, while you were supposed to be getting into character. You thought of the one thing you once had held worn so easily, and now you had been chasing it knowing your legs weren’t enough to catch up.
There was a well in your eyes, supplied by the same source which fossilized a ragged lump in your throat. And you must have blinked twice as many times as you normally would since Jimin's eyebrows met halfway between his forehead as he watched you. Or, more disappointingly, he might have noticed your tendency to grow red in more places than just the whites of your eyes when you were about to cry. Holding those tears in hadn't helped with keeping your skin less flushed.
It frustrated you that he might have noticed, which only twisted you tighter into the verge of crying. You knew it was unlikely that his watchfulness of your pre-breakdown expression was due to a lapse of genuine concern. For all you knew, he was subtracting even more value from your worth, plummeting you into negative integers.
And if you weren't so dedicated to your craft, then you wouldn't have the ardor nor the ability to pull off acting like you loved him.
Nayeon is a good makeup artist, I think you have a thick enough cover of foundation and powder to hide it. That of course, along with any sliver of light in this dark tunnel, had always been attributed to Namjoon. He was the reason you kept going, the reason you had been able to get out of bed to drink a glass of water once in a while, the reason you did not completely break down every time a tube of toothpaste fell into your line of vision. Him and the memorialized voice was what chipped the lump free from your throat and dried your tears before they had the chance to spill.
"What-" Whatever motivated Jimin to ask you something had been gone almost immediately after it sprouted.
"Quiet on set!" There was no way you'd figure out what he was going to say if the director had mandated pre-shooting silence.
The rest of your day went accordingly. Nothing too devastating happened that cleared away the momentum of excitement of this being your first big role. Though, not that you weren't beyond grateful for this chance, you made a chore of reminding yourself to be aware of your good fortune.
And, with the help of a few well-placed improvisations that made you seem somewhat of a visionary in your craft, your previous mistake had been washed with water under the bridge in the director's eyes. It escalated your ego and confidence to watch Jimin scavenge for an unpracticed reaction to go along with the slight details or lines you infused into the scene. At a certain point, you could almost describe him as impressed with your acting. Maybe enough to bump your worth up a few decimals, not that that should be occupying your worries.
"Wow, ___! Look's like we hired the right thespian. Great work! By the looks of it, things will flow easier from here." The director, who you finally felt on a first name basis with, approached with a hug. Though, usually this would have sent red alerts, you could tell Seokjin had no ill intentions of the predatory type. "Also, you two have chemistry, but it's not quite there yet. I want this to be believable. There has to be some real life element of camaraderie if this story is going to be genuine."
"So, what exactly are you asking of us?" Jimin, of course, sounded all but thrilled with whatever Seokjin was suggesting even when it hadn't been specified yet. And though you hadn't expressed it outwardly, this aversion for what Seokjin has been suggesting was shared.
"I don't know, get to know each other? Method acting works usually. I mean, Jared Leto did it for that movie and he seemed pretty crazy." The attention was never yours to claim once Jimin had already pressed his phone to his ear and Seokjin was off reevaluating the shots taken today.
You were alone again. Surrounded by an entire crew and cast, but alone nonetheless. Your version of escapism was never as consistent as you needed it to be. All it took was a moment of stillness for you to drift into some place much darker than your current reality. Jordan was sealed away for now, and you were trapped in your own body. It felt horrible. Being you without the man who loved and cared for such a kindred soul felt no different than writhing in pain. Being you without him was empty. Before long, you might have fallen faint in front of your coworkers.
The only target you could acquire as of now was Jimin, taken away from the world for reasons much less burdensome than your own. Where you had a plight of grief to sift through, Jimin had a phone and most likely a supply of friends to text and busy himself with. Seokjin wanted you to get to know him, try your hand at method acting so to speak, and that was the excuse which allowed you to walk over and try to kindle some sort of conversation.
"Hey, so, uh..." The pause came to no avail, since it seemed as though you could have said nothing at all judging from his reaction. "Hey."
It took a fictitious clearing of your throat and three more seconds of unwavering silence to lure his eyes from his phone.
"What?"
As it had been for this entire day, everything involving Jimin was made to be some sort of challenge. A feat you had to overcome without an ounce of reprieve, just to remain standing.
"Seokjin said we should, like, get to know each other. Or, at least get along. I think that's a good idea." His eyes gave absolutely no clues to anything below the exterior of an expressionless face.
"Why are you trying so hard?" You waited for him to laugh, or even for a laugh of your own to slip and loosen the tension. A laugh to make what he just said a joke, victimless banter, because it would have been wildly insulting if that were the most genuine thing he had said to you all day.
"What the hell does that mean?" Your arms were crossed as if that would keep your heart safe from his cruel tactlessness.
"I'm not taking this shit seriously." He laughed, but it wasn't the one that you wanted previously. It sunk wounds deeper, with such a dull edge too. "It's just a side job so people think I'm humble, or whatever my manager said."
The puzzle began to piece together, it took this admittance from Jimin for the picture to emerge from ambiguity. This movie was some form of damage control for his reputation, and that might be because your accurately placed criticisms of his lackluster humbleness did not stand solitarily. Your big break had been reduced to a convenient plot of image reconstruction. You were familiar with anger, it was one of your trickier stages of grief to surmount, but it still affected you to the same degree as before.
He didn't expect a response. You could gather that much from the way he instantly turned back to his phone, rendering you nonexistent once again. Namjoon would have told you to remain civil. But Namjoon was gone. It hurt to think that way, but if his voice hadn't emerged to mitigate this situation now, then Jimin was yours for the taking.
"You're a fucking ass." It seems brash was the only approach to seize immediate attention from Jimin. His eyes widened as if you had grown twice as large and the vision of you wouldn't fit in his narrowed, judgmental glare. "This may be a joke or a throw away gig for you, but this means a lot to me."
"Wanna back off, Jesus. I only-"
"No, I don't wanna back off. I haven't had the best year, and having a co-star that treats me like shit isn't really helping either. And, I get it, you're some sort of elitist who thinks they earned their success." You scoffed, tethering his eyes with yours as though there were a string tying them together. And with each step closer you took, the knot only secured tighter. "But people like you, men like you, don't do shit to earn where they are. But it's so cute the way you think you did! Truly, it's embarrassing watching you flaunt your ego around like you actually have something to be proud of."
"So it's like that, huh? You know, I was almost starting to respect you." The fact that his delivery suggested this was some sort of badge of honor made him all the more pathetic. You should not have put it past Jimin to boast over paying a fundamental level of respect where it's due.
"Wow," You doused a generous layer of sarcasm over your throat so the words came out so. "Basic human decency? From you? How can I ever repay you for such kindness?”
"I said almost."
"You're pathetic."
"Like you're one to talk."
"Yeah, well at least I don't pretend I'm hot shit." The tip of your shoes finally closed the gap between his. Again, you were snared in his warmth, however it didn't feel as tranquil as before. Now, it was closer to a pot of boiling water, evaporating flesh and bone until you were steam floating along the air, bendable and displayed out thinly.
"You don't pretend because you're just that bad of an actor, huh?"
It suffocated you, being this close with him; the blurry details of his face became sharp this way. His eyes were hypnotically watchful of your lips, preparing for your next gambit. You surrendered only a smirk, hoping it would antagonize him. And you could have sworn standing at the furthest point of the Earth from Jimin wouldn't appease this invasive thronging. The universe had yet to expand wide enough to provide an acceptable distance away from him. Until then, you were left with shallow bouts of breath tasting of metallic hatred, hoping those would alchemize into words that would make you seem more intimidating that you really were.
"Please, I could act circles around you. Your performance is transparent. Anyone with a scope of the basics of acting could see through you."
"Is that so?" You hated how quick you had been to notice his tongue slip along his lower lip. He must have found this delicious, patronizing someone who only had 'friend number five' or 'cashier' as proof of their employment. Jimin was greedy, devouring all the blood spilled from his wounding retorts.
In some perverse way, being the focus of his attention had you feeling fulfilled. Jimin, the man commonly sought after among the demographic of teenagers and middle-aged women. Not only were you proving your merits of qualification to act alongside him, but you had something to prove to yourself. You weren't going to let Jimin push you around without pushing him right back. You were strong enough to fight. It seemed to have come natural to you to enjoy provoking anger in him. It felt as if you were finally accomplishing something that was unattainable to anyone else.
And even if you wanted to retreat, his gaze guaranteed your obedience. It was a battle, along with every other exchange you have had with him. Even when silence was the only parcel between you two, when the only semblance of noise was heavy, jaded inhales, it felt as though you and he were at wits to gather more air than the other. To see who would fall breathless first.
"You're pathetic." His words hit like physical blows, and you might have had to check for bruises along your ribs and torso from the churning sensation in your stomach.
"If I'm pathetic, I don't know what that makes you." You wanted your rebuttal to feel like fire. You wanted to scorch and sear blisters along his flawless skin for proof of any successful hit. “A privileged boy with enough of daddy’s money to get him any job he wants. But, I’m the pathetic one?”
He appeared unscathed, with one end of his lips rugged upwards, mocking you without needing any of the words to do so. Perhaps he'd gotten the best of you, as you were searching through your arsenal of refutes only to find it overspent. It would not have surprised you to discover his supply of acidic insults piling without a visible dent.
His eyes looked fully employed in studying you, and you felt disrobed to be under such scrutiny from a stranger. Jimin seemed to have been reading you like words on a page, armed with a twisted smile that was unnervingly addictive, but you tried your hardest to keep your book closed. You didn’t want him to know how weak you really were.
"God, you're so-"
"Oh, great! Both of you are still here." Seokjin's voice reminded you that there was a world of events beyond you and Jimin. For a moment, you had felt secluded into a universe constructed especially for any collateral destruction that might have come of whatever war was about to be waged. "I have some notes for you two. Go home, read, digest, and come prepared tomorrow! I have full confidence in the two of you."
"Thanks." Succinct yet not lacking any tonal sentiment, Jimin got the first word in with the director, leaving you scrambling to find yours.
"Thank you." You were frustrated in how recycled your responses felt after Jimin handled them. Actors like you always fed on scraps of the higher-ups, and they were never as appetizing or filling as you would hope.
"See ya, ___." Your name sounded awful on his tongue, like his voice had filtered out the good parts of it and the waste remained spilling from his lips. Like dirt or decayed flesh, or both, and saying your name was akin to saying a slur.
"Fuck you." Those words couldn't sift through your screwed jaw or muffled throat, but it gave you satisfaction that it had been said in the slightest.
It wasn't until you were halfway to the bus stop that the realization pummeled you down a hole you hadn’t recollected being dredged. That whole time, what might have been the product of a mere ten minutes, was the longest segment you had gone without thinking of him.
It was the most intimately you had ever engaged in a conversation with someone other than the late, imagined voice in your head. And it was the most you've gone without consulting with said voice before speaking. You simply spoke, and listened, and responded; like you were normal. You couldn't tell whether that was good, because maybe you would finally be able to move forward with the world, perhaps catch up with the life you were supposed to be living. But, at the same time, the guilt festering something acrid in the pit of your stomach had you convinced this wasn't entirely sunny skies and bright futures.
"I'm sorry." What frightened you, besides your mental slip to keep the words meant for Namjoon in your head, was the unreturned sound of his ringing through. It took the longest ten seconds of your life for the mental silence to be furtively trimmed by your own train of thoughts.
Jimin had done this to you, that you were entirely sure of. Jimin and his carnivorous tongue and greedy glare had drained your head of its second conscious. The one it had adopted when Namjoon's body could no longer harbor it. And that's how he lived on, through you.
Jimin took that away, somehow. You could almost kill him for it, but you had not favored a life in prison nor tabloids that headlined the Park Jimin being murdered or 'Crazy, Jealous Co-star On Murderous Rampage Targets Jimin'. So, for the time being, all that was accessible was quiet hatred.
And you took that over nothing. You hated Park Jimin.

Thanks for tagging me @dollsome-does-tumblr even though I haven't written fic in a gazillion years.
Rules: List the first lines of your last 20 stories (if you have less than 20, just list them all!). See if there are any patterns. Choose your favourite opening line. Then tag 10 authors!
The first thing that hit Rory Gilmore when she woke up was an overwhelming sense of vertigo.
The migraine was encroaching on the borders of her skull soon followed.
Where was she?
(The Morning After, Gilmore Girls, post series, Rory/Jess, or what happens when two not-quite-stepcousins hook up and everyone in Stars Hollow debates whether they should be encouraging this or not)
The first time they tried a real relationship again, it was a disaster.
He hadn't seen or talked to her for five years. Part of him regretted that a little, but she did say no, and he knew he had to start fresh if he was going to make any sort of clean break from the family legacy that had claimed him long before he was born.
(The Dynastic Plan, Gilmore Girls, AYITL era, Rory/Logan, or Logan explains to us why he could not get his shit together with Rory during AYITL)
Luke first noticed that something was amiss when he picked April up from the airport.
It was the middle of spring and she was wearing a turtleneck, a baseball cap, and sunglasses. When he asked her about it, she shrugged and claimed she thought that Connecticut was having a late winter spell, which didn’t sound right to him at all.
(The Cactus Incident, Gilmore Girls, post-series, in which Luke learns about the avian misadventures of one of his offspring)
“This has gotten completely out of control.”
Lorelai glanced up at her husband from where she was sequestered at her usual table by the window, surrounded by her laptop, piles of eclipse glasses in various colors, assorted boxes and tubes sprinkled in glitter and confetti, and a pile of streamers that had half fallen to the floor.
“This is a major celestial event, Luke”, Lorelai insisted. “A once in a lifetime opportunity to escape the daily drudgery of life to celebrate standing in the middle of the street for two hours and looking at the sky while we are treated to the spectacle of the universe pretending to usher in the doomsday a way too significant portion of the population are eagerly anticipating at any given moment –“
Luke put up his hand. “I get it.”
(A Convergence of Fancies, Gilmore Girls, Rory/Jess overtones I guess, post-AYITL, or Stars Hollow celebrates the 2017 solar eclipse, Rory is a sleep deprived new mom, and Lorelai is concerned because her family is watching too much Game of Thrones, aka the most chaotic thing I have ever written and I'm sorry)
Richard Lucas Gilmore’s second Independence Day celebration was turning out to be a lot better than his first.
For one thing, he was actually awake for it.
Rory’s pregnancy had stretched a week and a half past its original due date, leading to the delivery of her squalling bundle of joy on a humid June morning after fifteen hours of labor.
(Independence, Gilmore Girls, post-AYITL, in which Luke and Lorelai celebrate Independence Day with their combined offspring and toddler grandson and Lorelai confronts her impending empty nest syndrome)
Lorelai had thought that sending Rory off into the adult world would make her feel like her heart was being ripped out of her chest.
She had been dreading it for days, weeks, maybe even years. Despite what everyone had told her when she was a newly knocked-up teenager, she still felt that those first eighteen years raising Rory as she grew up herself had been the easy part.
(Full Circle, Gilmore Girls, post-series, in which Lorelai and Rory go through the same major milestones at the same time)
The fall of 2017 was turning out to be quite a revelation for Lorelai Gilmore-Danes.
She had never loved fall quite as much as she loved winter. Sure, there was the crispness wrought by the change of seasons and the concurrent excuse to shop for brightly colored sweaters and boots.
(The Grandparents, Gilmore Girls, Luke/Lorelai, post-AYITL, or Rory's love triangle and parenting woes as seen through Luke and Lorelai's eyes)
Few enterprises seemed to be designed with a specific target in mind quite as much as Facebook was for Lorelai Gilmore.
It caught her a little by surprise. Sure, she knew the basics of using a computer to run her business and control her finances. She could be disciplined and organized when she absolutely needed to be, and there was little use in clinging to outdated technology.
(Boundaries, Gilmore Girls, Luke/Lorelai, post-AYITL, or Luke and Lorelai try to rebuild their relationship and are very angsty about it)
Luke and Lorelai's third Valentines Day as a married couple started in the usual way.
It was usually their tradition to spend the holiday at home, but this year they had departed for Luke's cabin on the lake to spend a few days by themselves before the rest of the family joined them on Sunday. It was a beloved, time-honored tradition between the two of them to devote this day to each other to celebrate with their own brand of fanfare. Their adult children knew to stay very far away from them during this time.
(A Season of Peace, Luke/Lorelai and Rory/Logan, post-AYITL, in which Luke and Lorelai spend a weekend in the snow with their brood and we get an update on the younger generations's relationship statuses)
"Mom?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm pregnant."
She turned to face me. Gap-mouthed. Shocked. Disappointed. Humiliated.
This was not how I planned to share this news.
(A Simple Twist of Fate, Gilmore Girls, AU but fairly canon adjacent, in which Jess is Rory's baby daddy and Rory discovers that he has not exactly been solely pining for her in the years they were apart)
Jess didn't exactly intend to introduce his daughter to professional sports in this manner.
For the most part, he and Rory weren't quite the stereotypical thirtysomething hipster couple that they sometimes appeared to be. Sure, Rory was still occasionally breast-feeding after seven and a half months, and you could find quinoa and kimchi in their fridge stocked next to the baby food and hoagies.
(Home, post-AYITL, Rory/Jess, a "fast forward" of ASTOF in which Rory and Jess raise their daughter in Philadelphia and try to avoid admitting that they are no longer hip)
Lorelai Gilmore's journey to becoming an active participant in Stars Hollow town life was a bumpy one.
She stepped off of the bus in Stars Hollow a few months after her eighteenth birthday, freshly divorced and clutching her almost two-year-old daughter by the hand, determined to talk herself into whatever opportunity presented itself to her. She wasn't able to work on her charms on Taylor Doose at the grocery store, or Fran Weston at the bakery, but William Danes at the hardware store gave her directions to the inn at the outskirts of town and an offer to work the counter at his store if things didn't work out.
(Beginnings, Gilmore Girls, pre-series/AU, Luke/Lorelai, in which Lorelai and Luke's parenting situations are reversed: she and Christopher are divorced and he is involved in Rory's life but Luke is raising April by himself after Anna flaked out, and they start to bond)
Lorelai Gilmore Danes didn't expect to have empty nest syndrome hit her quite like this.
She'd spent much of her adult life – even long before she was technically an adult – tethered to Rory's side and not regretting a second of it. Then Rory was grown up and off exploring the world, and she was settled down with Luke in their unconventional but happily domestic manner.
(Glimpses Through the Looking Glass, Gilmore Girls, drabble series that goes all over the place based on #NationalFillInTheBlankDay)
Ted and Robin's seemingly long-awaited reconciliation lasted just short of six months.
Five months, three weeks, and two days, to be exact. Not that anyone was counting, least of all Robin.
(Making It Easy, How I Met Your Mother, Barney/Robin, post-series, in which Robin figures out that dating a widowed Ted is actually a very bad idea)
In the end, it was decided that the best way to resolve the battle for the Iron Throne was to dissolve it completely.
It had been a savage war, far more savage than any of its players had fought up to this point. Euron and Cersei were dead.
(The Calm, Game of Thrones, post-series but written halfway through season 8 so it doesn't include any of the stuff that people hate, in which I come up with a solution to the Jonerys dilemma that no one liked but it was still better than canon)
Summer finally bloomed beyond the wall five years after Jon Snow had crossed it for the last time.
Sometimes it seemed to him that everything before those five years was nothing more than a half-remembered dream. He had braced for his departure for the wall half-hopeful: at least this grand march towards kingship, the burden of unwanted responsibilities, the dread in his chest as he wondered if he would survive to the end of the latest war was over.
(After, Game of Thrones, post-series, Jon/Tormund, or in which Jon Snow is living happily ever after beyond the wall with his ginger, his dog, and a family of his own because I am in charge and I say so)
“You’re still shit at that, you know, Tormund whispered in Jon’s ear.
Magritte snickered from the other corner of the main room of their cabin where she was roughhousing with Ghost. Alsi sighed beside her, picking up her bow from where it was lying beside her and inspecting it for flaws.
(The Line, Game of Thrones, post-series, Jon/Tormund, in which Jon is still living happily ever after but takes his family to visit Queen Sansa)
The images solidified in Jaime’s mind as he made his way through the streets.
Charred skeletons. Screaming children. Rampaging soldiers. Blood. Smoke. Mangled limbs. Chaos. He couldn’t keep any of it straight.
(The Lion and the Snow - Snapshots, Game of Thrones, AU, Jaime/Brienne, in which Jon is King, Jaime is the Hand Without A Hand, Brienne is the Lady Commander of the Kingsguard, they are all disasters, and I am not telling this story in order)
Tormund didn’t intend to get seriously involved with anyone when he moved to King’s Landing.
It had been a rough couple of years. Hell, the entire last decade had been its own special blend of unexpected pleasure and slow, turgid, relentless episodes of confusion and pain. That was adulthood, he supposed. Always one damn thing after another.
(The Dragon Heist, Game of Thrones, modern AU, in which single dad Tormund - Brienne is his baby mama - falls in love with art student Jon Snow and there are lots of coparenting shenanigans)
Patterns: Gee, I like to start these stories off with long, complicated explanations of everyone's relationship status.
Favorites: I guess that would be starting off The Morning After with Rory half-horrified at what she has gotten into. I also like dropping right in on Jonmund domesticity in The Line.
Tagging: @fineosaur, @seethemflying, @aliveanddrunkonsunlight, @janiedean, @angel-deux-writes, @littlerockerao3, @istaricelebelasse, @tormundjonthings, @sdwolfpup, and anyone else who feels like it (apologies if y'all have already been tagged)

Was supposed to post this on Mamo’s birthday, but ended up saving it on draft, and now 5 months have passed... ^^;; Well anyway, here’s my Top 5 Favorite Mamoru Miyano Roles.
#1: Rintarou Okabe - Steins;Gate
Tumblr media
LOLOLOL ok, Okabe’s a dork, and I love him. Mamo as Okabe was one of the most memorable roles I ever had the chance to see, especially his persona, Hououin Kyouma. Okabe in that first few episodes before the story finally kicks in was so embarrassing that when me and my brother started watching this, we wondered if we should just drop it. So glad we didn’t, though, haha. This boy is perfect in his imperfect way. His character is so well-written. Steins;Gate was so well-written. I love him!
#2: Masaomi Kida - Durarara!!
Tumblr media
Durarara was just packed with all sorts of cool characters. I don’t think I have one character I really dislike. Kida is one of the earlier Mamo roles I encountered and it was very memorable. I don’t think I ever see any anime with a story like Durarara. A vastly diverse cast of characters with a seemingly unconnected plot points that at one point converge beautifully and left me feeling awed. Ah~ so this is what they were trying to tell. Also, you can’t get enough of all the easter eggs in these anime’s. Sad that the three-part second season wasn’t as awesome as the first season. I wish they’d animate more of Baccano, though (as I heard there are still material to be animated yet), and also Narita Ryogo’s other works.
#3: Ignis Scientia - Final Fantasy XV
Tumblr media
I’m still salty over XV. I was so hyped but the end product didn’t live up to my expectations. The gameplay was fun, but...it still had so many potential. Mind you, i have not played any of the dlcs, but even if i did, i don’t think it could really erase my saltiness that easy. Sometimes, I still wish there are more of the Versus XIII elements that made the end cut, because from the rumors I’d heard, Versus’s premise sounded much more solid than what we get. But, I know this particular title has gone through quite a development hell during its time, so I’ll stop there. Anyway, among the XV cast, Ignis is my best boy. Maybe I’m biased because Mamo voices him, but really, Ignis is the best character in the game! Not only is he cool, but he cooks (lol yeah I guess I’m mentioning that) and he’s a somewhat strategist?, Noctis’s adviser, and I don’t know why but I just believe that he’s the one person that will always stand by Noct. His cool-headedness always helps Noct whenever Noct can’t think straight. Also, there’s that line from the Episode Ignis trailer, where in the Japanese dub he says: saisho kara kimeteita. Nani ga orouto, Noct wa saigo made mamorinaku, which roughly translates as I’ve decided from the very beginning. Whatever happens, I will protect Noct until the end (or something along that line, forgive me if it’s not entirely correct. i’m still learning the language hehe) right before he wears the Ring of Lucii. And hearing Mamo say that still gives me goosebumps. He is very devoted! I love him!
#4: Osamu Dazai - Bungou Stray Dogs
Tumblr media
I still have mixed feelings toward BSD, but I still find myself watching every season it releases haha. I was interested in Dazai (because of Mamo), then found myself disappointed. Then fell in love with him in the Dark Era arc or whatitsname (Dazai’s past arc), and fell out love again once we’re back to our daily BSD life. But, he’s still a cool character...sometimes, and Mamo as Dazai is both cool and fun.
#5: Ryuji Sakamoto - Persona 5
Tumblr media
Yeaahhh! Ryuji!!! He’s cute and fun and I love him and he’s the best friend Ren needs! There’s nothing more to say than that :D
Now, for some honorable mentions
HM1: Riku - Kingdom Hearts
Tumblr media
Yeah! Riku, my boy! How can I not make this list without mentioning him? Though I have never played KH in Japanese, but from the clips I have seen, I just have to say that Mamo as Riku is AWESOME! His voice sounds sooo cool!!! #eargasm I didn’t like him at first, but he’s that type of character that slowly grows on me. He’s not like your shounen-hero-stereotype Sora. He was taken by darkness, and he used his own power to overcome it. It was a long journey, but he’s learned to keep the darkness at bay, to find the confidence in himself that he’d be okay. The darkness is still there, but he’s embraced it. He’s a cool character!
HM2: Koutarou Tatsumi - Zombieland Saga
Tumblr media
God! This anime is stupid. And Tatsumi is stupid. He’s even more embarrassing than Kyouma xD But Mamo is awesome and tbh, Tatsumi kind of reminds me of Mamo himself lmao
HM3: Tamaki Suou - Ouran Koukou Host Club
Tumblr media
This pure and precious boy xD Tbh I haven’t finished Ouran (OK, I’ll be watching Ouran after this lmao, and read the manga after that xD) but Tamaki was so memorable. He’s an ikemen. You’d think with how he exudes all that princely aura and how the girls are just fawning over him, he’s not the type to be embarrassed and blush that easily. But he is! Just like Mikorin HAHAHA. He can be stupid sometimes and he doesn’t catch on quickly to most signs. He’s so pure and precious and endearing! (But i kind of shipped Haruhi with Hikaru in the anime haha).
HM4: Shuu Tsukiyama - Tokyo Ghoul
Tumblr media
Yeah...mentioning him because Mamo was awesome as Tsukiyama. Another one of that gaudy voices you know and love (but feel embarrassed at the same time and can’t take him seriously no matter what).
HM5: Taichi Mashima - Chihayafuru
Tumblr media
Another one of my best boys. He’s just the type of guy and character I love! Earnest and kind in his own way and he’d do anything for the girl he loves. Mamo’s voice was so soft voicing him. I really want them to end up together and I think (based on the two anime seasons) that Taichi suits Chihaya better than Arata. Gaaah this love triangle is killing me!

folklore
fokalore is Taylor Swift’s Darkness on the Edge of Town – the first thing you notice about this record is the point of view(s).  The usual approach to any Swift song is to assume the subjective orientation is all her’s and then to ask, situationally, who/what/where is she singing about. Lover took this to its natural conclusion – a cultivated megalomania where her relationship to her partners and fans expand to cover the nature of America itself.  Here, however, even on a first listen, it is obvious that a number of the songs can’t be her, and on a second you start to doubt that any are.  The jump here is most analogous to the jump between Springsteen’s early career magnum opus Born to Run, which brought his epic street folk tales of his life lived in and around The City to full flower, and the southern literature infused “stories of other lives lived” of Darkness on the Edge of Town that carves out a broader American mythology from the third person and the suggestion that these are things that have resonance to his life, that none of the songs are about him but all of them together are, somehow.  The album seems tied together like something between Everything that Rises Must Converge and Visit from the Goon Squad.
Wait, no... folklore is Taylor Swift’s Inland Empire – structure is all important in a serious TS effort, which this is.  1989’s cosine wave of relationship’s downhill slope and Kubler-Ross recovery (Fire Walk with Me’s horrific fall and redemption) and Lover’s 1st 2/3 exploration of the symbolic order ending in a crash with the last 1/3 a negotiation with the real (Mulholland Drive) give way to something rhizomal (more specifically fractal) with meaning derived from connections like a box of photos from multiple people whose stories connect in variable ways, forming a vortex of a story no individual part of which is entirely consistent with any other.  The central story, that keeps echoing around and out is of a love triangle with an infidelity that acquires a folk tale resonance and haunts everything.   This would also describe Inland Empire.
There is no dearth of online commentary on connections to her life.  She bought a mansion in Rhode Island, and last great american dynasty is about the history of the house, with its Jazz age parties and imagery, and the mad woman at the center living her party forever lifestyle. epiphany is about her grandfather’s war experiences as related to current heathcare work in the time of COVID.  Inez, James and Betty (the named characters in the central story) are the names of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s daughters.  invisible string, the only definitive song from her non-hoax POV is full of allusions to her relationship with Joe Alwyn. The opening track, the 1, has been shouted from the rooftop by the Swift camp as being about “a friend” not her, which you would be hard pressed to know is you weren’t putting in the extranoematic effort.  But the core trio of songs, the most “character” based are cardigan, august, and betty, which tell the core of a story about three teenagers from each POV (the cheated on, the cheated with, and the cheater respectively), two of which have been in love for a while, who threaten to fall apart after one has a fling with a third party, and who may make it work after all. It is significantly unspecified what gender James is.
Around this swarm another group of songs that seem to apply, whether they are strictly about the same people or not.  seven seems like backstory for the triangle with some Swift specificity.  this is me trying seems like a version of an apology in the story, but with whiskey that suggests it’s happening to someone older.  illicit affairs is about the fling, but it began in expensive rooms (though it ended ended up in the mall parking lots of the core songs). mad woman serves to connect last great american dynasty to my tears ricochet (which is pointedly from the POV of the tormentor of a Swift-like figure, but she’s identifying with both) which also feels like the unnamed other woman of the main triangle’s ultimate fate. Again, no genders.
The unities are created with a few tidy motifs, threads through the work that sometimes reach back to other works.  The roaring 20s/Great Gatsby (remember This is Why We Can’t have nice things and the 4th of July parties), how “they” think the young know nothing, the hero being gone (from “the film”) so what’s the story now, parking lots, cobblestones, streetlamps, summer as a liminal frame, axes and knives, warmth for the ex that has a family now, kingdoms, cliffsides, the idea of an agitating presence being a feature-not-bug, blue referring to her boyfriend and sadness both… It’s a nice web.
What about the remaining tracks?  exile is a biblical abstraction of the broken relationship; it connects to everything (it’s the rabbit scenes from Inland Empire). mirrorball is an example of one of my favorite TS things, the song about how her “self” may not exist since she only exists as a reflective, fragmented surface (this directly contrasts to the project of the rest of the album). Epiphany is a parallel drawing of a line from the early 20th century to today, a nod to real death as a contrast to emotional death. Invisible string is the only “true” song on the album.  Peace is an attempt to put the set of ideas to bed, however uncomfortably.
But the bracketing (first and last) songs are interesting.  The album was complete, the story goes, and she wrote the two in an evening to put a parenthesis around the whole project.  On a first listen, you can’t help but ask “is this a breakup album? Are her and Joe done?”  The last song would seem to underscore this.  Seemingly written as her, she existentially wails about “your” faithless love being the only hoax she believes in. But, as is the case so often here, the identity is unclear. Is it him?  Her audience? Herself?  But the title of the song is hoax. It’s just vague enough that you can suspect it’s about the search for meaning through the process of songwriting, and that everything you’ve just heard is a lie but is still oh so true. You are prepared for this after the first song, the 1, which seems to be about her, and would act to unify the album under the umbrella of her attempt at distancing from an event at a 4thof July party (her summer parties at her RI house were legendary), but we have been repeatedly told in the press that it is in fact not about her but about a friend (Selena Gomez?).  The framing of opening with a bait and switch and ending with “hoax” calls into question the reality of everything.
Moments snap together like magnets lego.  The album is deeply retropseudonostalgic, accent on the algos. She’s sorting through other people’s stories that speak to her (that feel like a piece of her), putting on her theory of mind hat and trying to compassionately inhabit them,  and building an elaborate fantasy of heartbreak and healing that she knows people will project onto her. The gender is left fluid, and the album doesn't have lesbian overtones as much as is completely identity agnostic.  The line through mirrorball and hoax is the axis the album rotates around, producing an inversion of her obsession – instead of her subjectivity dominating to the extent that she doesn’t exist except as a conscious hologram implied by the event horizon of her public image, being cut off from the feedback loop has forced her to inhabit the perspectives of others that occupy all points in a large story in which she can see a sketch of herself from the outside.

Living Fossils {1}
Dust sprayed and crackled against the various windows of the shuttle's cabin as it touched down, the thrusters adding little to the dust already swirling from the storm. Within a few moments the shuttle finished the landing process with a slight jostle, and the occupants made their way to the airlock and into their atmospheric suits. The air of this planet wasn't compatible with their lungs, so the suits would come in handy for more than just the particles of sand and small rocks that were assaulting and scraping microscopic gouges into the hull.
As the six lithe figures stepped into the bulky suits, the oldest addressed the others in the airlock antechamber. "Nothing like another outing for our scientific enumeration! Given what I could see of our surroundings, it is a small miracle there is anything left." Another slipped her shoulder into her suit as she rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's nice and all Doc, but my only surprise will be if I don't die of boredom on this heap of sand." The scientist eyed her with an upraised brow, seeing her clip a gun to it's holster on her side as another, larger carbine hung in the cabinet behind. "I suppose that is why Allnex paid you to join these sorts of expeditions: to spare you from such a terrible end otherwise. And these sorts of finds aren't all that boring, I should hope."
The second mercenary of the group finished putting on his own suit as he quipped, "Oh yeah, nothing gets the blood pumping like another broken vase or some sorta proto-battery. You guys get excited over the smallest things."
Another of the younger females in the group, one of the four wearing a white suit to the two green ones, looked at the male mercenary and said, "That's better than getting all excited for nothing over some Jurgthen, Kenta."
Kenta smiled knowingly, "Murien's only saying that cause her team lost last night and now she owes me."
She blushed a little as she quickly shut her locker, the orange of her team's poster hanging from the inside of the door perhaps being given away. She still turned back to Kenta and shrugged. "Yeah, yeah, I'll pay you after we're back up top."
The doctor cleared his throat as he set the helmet down over his head, "Yes, well, let's get to that, shall we? Mic check please, everyone." A chorus of clicks and beeps sounded through all the helmets, all nodding in acknowledgement. "Excellent. Now, if you take a look at your maps, our target is to our west a few hundred clacks, so it won't be long to get there." As he spoke, the group punched the appropriate button on their wrist consoles to bring up the green light of the hologram. A large green dot was in the center of the map, while a smaller blue triangle represented their position.
One raised their hand, to which the doctor nodded, "Yes, Saffer?"
Not comfortable with the others' eyes on him, he wriggled on his seat in apprehension. "The structure, Doctor Ghan, do we know what it's for or how it lasted all this time? What the beings were like that built it?"
The doctor shook his head. "I'm afraid I don't, but the evidence points to some intelligence in whatever used to live here. What surface scans we could manage through the storms showed signs of oceans and rivers at one point, which led us to seeing the grid-shaped patterns of many cities. We are here to see how advanced they became and if anything might be worth bringing back for Allnex. Our point of interest is a large collection of metals, perhaps a structure. I know this will be your first bit of field work, but I'm sure there will be plenty to discover." His eyes drifted to the two mercenaries that had clearly started a card game on top of their wrist map holograms. "Broken pottery or otherwise."
The six figures eventually emerged from the vehicle, and after a final reference of their wrist computers, they began to trek through the obscuring storm in a line, the two mercenaries flanking close on either side. Along the way they spotted jagged, unnatural remains of walls, and even the bent remains of metallic signs, long since rusted over to tell what they said or were intended for. They stopped briefly at several spots like these, but were not able to glean much. It didn't help their understanding when as soon as they might spot glimpses of these formations and signs of previous civilization, it was just as soon lost again in the red-tinted maelstrom.
After over an hour, the group spotted their target: a huge, multistory building which stood defiantly against the failing world around it. Sand and rock draped itself in piles and drifts around the large base, while they could see that sections of the walls had crumbled or caved in, exposing some of the upper floors to the elements. "It is a building alright, so the civilization had gotten to at least advanced metallurgy." Doctor Ghan exclaimed to everyone through their helmets. "What do you think, Codru?" The other male student nodded, "Definitely, but to have lasted for several centuries as you estimate since the planet-wide death event is especially impressive. I think Allnex will be very happy with just a sample of the siding for study of its properties, let alone anything inside."
Hyupi the female mercenary looked around it exasperatedly and said, "Yeah, and speaking of which, how do we get inside, big-shots? Any of the scans reveal a nice door for us?" After a brief but fruitless look around the building as the gale howled around them, the group was about ready to call defeat. They were in the midst of climbing one of the drifts around the base when Saffer suddenly cried out in surprise. The two mercenaries spun in place with their carbines at the ready, but Saffer stood up with embarrassment clearly on his face through the glass of his helmet. "Sorry everyone, I tripped on a rock or something."
Murien was behind him, and was pointing at Saffer's feet. "Or something is right, look! It's the corner of something metal!"
The group converged excitedly on the two, as Murien and Saffer dug with their hands into the drift, exposing a little more of a wall and roof. The doctor's face bore a gratified smile. "Thank goodness for a bit of clumsiness, Saffer! This might be our way in. Quick, get out the shovels!"
Taking out small folding shovels from their backpacks, they began to take turns excavating the sand and dirt away from the outcropping, and even the mercenaries showed some enthusiasm of discovery as they took part in the digging, though the environmentals in the suits could do little to negate the sweat from both their exertions and the sweltering heat.
After a short while, a door was revealed for their efforts, the senior student Codru was even able to discover a pad to the left of the door. As he brushed the last dirt away with his hand, through the dusty screen he could see it pulse with light, the screen showing unrecognizable symbols. Over the comms channel his surprise was immediately evident. "Uh, Doctor Ghan? You might want to look at this."
From over his right shoulder, Ghan could just see the pad. "Ah, they had some computer technology as well? Interesting."
Codru shook his head, "No sir. Look, it still has power!"
Ghan was at his side as fast as his bulky suit would allow, while the others all gathered behind him. Looking at the pad which still shone visibly through the crust of dirt and dust which coated the face of it, the doctor was amazed. "That means we are at least dealing with a nascent Type A civilization! There must be a fusion or even antimatter energy source inside the building! Oh, well done everyone! Well done indeed!"
Hyupi left the gathering and sat to one side against the side of the little valley they had dug out, her hand leaning her carbine against her body. "Well, sounds great doc, but what's a Type A?"
Saffer was practically giddy with excitement as he explained, "With any civilization there are metrics to understand it's progress. Type A is part of one scale of measurement we commonly use. It describes a civilization that is using all the possible energy of its planet. Type B, which we more closely relate to, use all the energy of their solar system, and so on."
Doctor Ghan was already busy taking pictures of the screen as he interjected, saying, "Yes, but there are a lot of ways for things to go wrong; lots of checks to get past. Most don't get near this far. Disease, war, climate upheaval, all can end things prematurely, as likely happened here."
Kenta looked at his wrist pad readouts as he said, "I'm sorry to cut things short, but we need to get back to the shuttle, we don't have much time left on our respirators to stick around. Pack it up everyone. I don't know about any of you but a shower seems like a real treat right now."
As the rest packed up and reformed to move out, Saffer was the last in line, reluctantly packing his backpack with his supplies and shovel. His body thrummed with excitement at the possibilities which seemed to tantalize him from inside the vault-like structure. Here was everything that made him want to be a xeno-archaeologist in a neat, metallic package. As he slipped one of the straps of his pack over the shoulder of his suit and turned to join the group, he thought he saw a flicker of movement from the pad out of the corner of his eye. He stared at the screen, but it still showed the same set of symbols as before. He jumped as his comms crackled with Kenta's voice. "Hey kid, come on! Move it."
He shook his head. "Sorry, coming!" It was just his imagination and excitement overcoming his senses. His mother always warned him about his excitable personality. He stamped up the side of their valley as sand cascaded down in his wake, and rejoined the others as they trekked back to the shuttle.
The wind whipped past as reddish dirt danced in convoluted twists through the air. The pad next to the door flickered, and instead of the previous symbols an alien face appeared, looking at the retreating back of the young student as he tramped up the side of the dug valley and disappeared over the top. A smile creeped over the alien face before the screen blinked, returning to black as dust once more accumulated over it.

i came across a song named ‘asymptotic’ by louie zong, and the vibe really reminded me of you!
okay so I just listened to this song and it is very cute and it reminded me of this really sad picture that was going around on tumblr about, like, two lines that crossed once and then had to forever move further and further apart, but parallel lines never got to touch at all, etc, etc that totally made me sad when I saw it
but in my old age, parallel lines don’t really make me sad anymore, because the question of “will they diverge or converge” actually is a question of “what sort of space are you living in, is it flat or curved”
Tumblr media
basically everything you think you know in math about how the angles of a triangle should add up to, what does the straightest path look like, what is the circumference of a circle, and do parallel lines ever touch depend on what kind of space you’re living in
(we’re not entirely sure but our universe mostly seems flat, but, like, things do get locally not-flat when you’re close to Big Things like Black Holes)

Ugh.  Silver has proven me wrong in dramatic fashion (for now).  A one-day drop of 6.5% on the most volume in 4.5 months, through all the significant overlaps of the last two months, that stopped out my long position, means I am obligated to write up a new post analyzing just where this leaves us.
(To answer the question from my last post: yes, bulls WERE foiled yet again by that grey resistance zone.  The top was 28.445, or half a cent within the upper limit of the zone as I had drawn it.  Sheesh.)
First off, the Ichimoku picture. Looking at SLV, it’s clear that in the space of a week we have gone from “all signs bullish” to “mostly bearish”.  Price has dropped well below both the base and conversion lines, the conversion line is below the baseline, and the lagging span is suddenly much closer to being on the bottom than on top.  The cloud itself is still bullish, but for how much longer?
Tumblr media
And now let us try to figure out just what is going on with this wave structure since last August.  The daily chart of /SI (silver futures) follows:
Tumblr media
(It’s possible that what I have marked as “I” at 29.915 could actually be ((3)), with the 21.81 low then being ((4)) and the run to 30.35 being some kind of weird ending diagonal for ((5)) of I.  But as you can see, the look isn’t right for a diagonal -- it breaks the rules regarding successive subwaves in the same direction getting consistently shorter or longer, as the up waves get longer but the down waves get shorter.  It’s almost too bad, since it would make everything since the 30.35 high make much more sense as a straightforward A-B, if it didn’t break the rules.)
Let’s first get out of the way what the shape since the “I” high is not: namely, a triangle.  Why not?  Because at least four waves of any triangle must be zigzags or zigzag combinations, but ((B)) is a flat up and the would-be ((C)) is a diagonal down.  It would look very much like a triangle if not for that point.
With the rally from 23.74 to 28.90 no longer looking impulsive after today’s crash broke some important overlaps, the white “II?” is very much in doubt; as I’ve noted on the chart, below 23.74 kills it entirely.  If the rally to 28.90 is in fact an impulse, the subwaves are irrelevant at this point.  It could also be corrective but still part of a leading diagonal ((1)) up.
But if wave II is not yet complete, then the only wave count I can see that’s consistent with everything else is in cyan, with the diagonal down to 23.74 being (A) of ((C/Y)) of II, and the rally to 28.90 being (B).  Since magenta ((B)) retraced over 90% of ((A)), it fits the rules for a flat, which would make ((C)) an impulsive decline, but that really doesn’t look right given how long the would-be (1)-(2) waves took to complete.  The only good possibility left is that the current decline is (C) of a zigzag ((Y)) of II.
I’m not in love with this interpretation, but it’s the only one I can think of that makes sense given all the evidence.  Back above 28.90 would obviously KO it.  But what about a downside target?  You obviously expect it to get to 23.74 and probably lower than that, but beyond that it could go as low as 12 without technically invalidating the “I” count, which is a scary thought.  Realistically though, anything below about 15.55 and we would need to call the big picture into question.
(Edit: there’s actually another possibility, that the diagonal to 23.74 was a C-wave instead of an A-wave, the culmination of a flat ((A/W)) of II.  See case 5 below.  If that one’s the actual count, then I’m in for a very frustrating next few months.)
Now, we zoom in to the 4-hour chart:
Tumblr media
The grey support zone I’ve drawn in is 25.65 - 25.90, established between April 19 and April 29.  Note that the 61.8% retrace of the rally to 28.90 falls nicely into this established zone.  The decline tagged this zone today, and considering both that and what looks like a short-term oversold position, some sort of bounce would not surprise me here (before, in all likelihood, renewed lows).
But when we try to analyze the waves, it’s just as confusing as the big picture, if not more so.  What IS the larger decline from 28.90?
We know for sure that it can’t be a triangle, because it’s neither expanding nor contracting (would-be waves C/E end beyond A/C, but D ends short of B).
And it’s not a bearish nest of 1s and 2s, because the declines from 28.90 and 28.71 are clearly in three waves each, not five.
And it’s not a flat, because the rally to 28.71 didn’t retrace at least 90% of the preceding decline -- it only got 88%.  (And again, even if that rule was satisfied, the three-wave look of the selloff from 28.71 to 27.09 casts real doubt on the larger C-wave being motive, which is what you need for the end of a flat.  Unless it’s an ending expanding diagonal...?)
It could technically be a diagonal (orange count), but it has a completely wrong look for it given how far wave 5 has now gone (plus, again, subwaves 1-3 and 2-4 didn’t show a clear diverging or converging trend).
So that leaves the grey count I’ve marked on the chart, which indicates a triple three corrective combination.  I’ve never notated such a wave before, and in fact I had forgotten they existed before reviewing all the rules and coming to this conclusion, but it’s the only thing I can find that makes sense.
Note that the corrective nature of the smaller declines from 28.90 and 28.71 is not consistent with the entire move from 28.90 being the start of (C) of a zigzag ((Y)), which was the cyan count on the daily chart, or (3) of ((C)) of a flat II.  What it IS consistent with is the 28.90 high being just A/W of (B) up, with the selloff then being B/X and C/Y still to come and probably exceeding 28.44 -- but not 30.35 (the beginning of the diagonal down that’s causing all the trouble).
To attempt to recap the possibilities:
Wave II did indeed end at 23.74, and 28.90 is ((1)) of III, so the current decline is ((2)) and probably almost over.  The continuation would then be that monster ((3)) directly, which would clear 30.35 and invalidate cases 3-4.  Below 24.68 casts serious doubt on this, and below 23.74 invalidates it.
Wave II ended at 23.74, but 28.90 is corrective and only 1 of a diagonal ((1)) of III.  This would see three more zigzags up and down before a deeper correction, followed by a huge ((3)) that would clear 30.35 and invalidate cases 3-4.  Same criteria as the previous possibility.
Wave II is still underway, and the action since 28.90 is a flat (despite technically breaking the 90% retrace rule), with C (since 28.71) likely an expanding ending diagonal.  Over 28.71, before at least one more new low, torpedoes this one.
Wave II is ongoing, and the action since 28.90 is a triple three (possibly already complete) for B/X of (B) of ((C)).  In this case, we could have ((C)) as an impulse down, or more likely, we could have ((Y)) as a zigzag; in either case, we would almost certainly see a new low near 23.74, possibly much lower, which would also invalidate cases 1-2.  This case is more resilient: above 29.03 for serious doubt (due to the zigzag retrace guidelines), and 30.35 to kill it.
Same as cases 3-4, but 23.74 was only a flat ((A/W)) of II, with the diagonal down being (C) of it.  This would call for a third wave up co complete ((B/X)), followed by a big ((C/Y)) down finally ending wave II.  The infuriating thing about this one is that even a break over 30.35 would not invalidate it (though over 32.26 would cast serious doubt due to the flat guidelines).  However, that’s contingent on such a break coming on only three waves; if instead it looks impulsive, then we’re probably in case 1 instead.
With so many open possibilities, what is to be done?
I’m just going to say that I’ve penciled in a short-term resistance zone of 27.15 - 27.33 for the dead cat bounce after today’s crash, though given said crash’s impressive speed and volume, I’m certainly not about to go long unless I see a short-term motive rally.  Beyond that, we’ll just have to see what happens.  But for now, my eyes and brain hurt.

budapest Apartment Lucas Bravo Knows How You Feel About 'Emily in Paris'
Photograph credit: Roger DO MINH/Netflix
From Harper's BAZAAR
While every other person was gorging Emily in Paris, Lucas Bravo was keeping away from it. "I don't generally prefer to watch myself, since I'm really hard on myself," the French entertainer, who plays fantastic cook Gabriel in the Netflix satire, tells BAZAAR.com. "Where anyone would see an amusing scene or something charming or anything, I simply observe all the [faults] and all the things I might have improved." He feels diversely about the arrangement however. "I love the show," he says. "I thought it was incredible and was so glad for it, however I can't watch myself."
Presently, while isolating in Budapest, Hungary, on the set for his next film, Bravo is advantageously separated from the all out advanced talk Emily hath fashioned. In spite of the fact that some have discovered comfort in the unconventional Darren Star–made arrangement amidst a bizarre year, others have discovered it to be silly and stereotypical. (Is Lily Collins' Emily even a decent influencer? For what reason are her French associates characteristically stodgy?) Some French pundits even found the arrangement "annoying." As a real French entertainer dealing with the show, Bravo comprehends the input, yet he remains by the arrangement—it should be ridiculous.
"No doubt, there's a touch of truth all over," he says of the investigate. "I believe everyone's qualified for his own assessment. Furthermore, Paris is, as I said prior in past meetings, it's various, and there's numerous accounts to tell. So you need to pick a point, and Darren shows his vision from when he was in Paris as an adolescent. … It's loaded up with parody. [He] needed for individuals to get away from the insane the truth we're all in the present moment. A few people like reality excessively much, which I comprehend too, however else, it would have been a narrative about Paris. Also, this isn't what this show is. So I comprehend the two perspectives, I regard them."
Maybe something the two camps can concur on is that Bravo is the heart breaker existing apart from everything else. On the off chance that you look past the hot takes and protests on Emily in Paris, will undoubtedly discover responses like the accompanying.

Story proceeds
"I simply feel appreciative for the consideration and the affection," Bravo says modestly of his—and Gabriel's—new being a fan. He felt a real association with his character, and not on the grounds that he was a real sous-culinary specialist a couple of years prior. "[He] was initially expected to be from Nice, where I was conceived. What's more, Gabriel had consistently been a name I truly loved. I generally disclosed to myself I would give my little girl or a child the name Gabriel." Bravo considered it to be a sign.
The entertainer is now making moves post-Emily. He's presently recording his next undertaking, Mrs Harris Goes to Paris, featuring Oscar chosen people Lesley Manville and Isabelle Huppert. "I'm actually squeezing myself each day going to set," he says. His fantasy teammate however? Denzel Washington. "I could likely end my vocation just subsequent to working together with him," he says. "I'd resemble, 'Alright, check!'"
In spite of the fact that Bravo is investing a large portion of his energy isolated in his lodging (and submitting to wellbeing rules), being in Hungary implies he's not dependent upon the ongoing lockdown and time limit rules in France. "I'm in reality pretty happy to be away," he says, eased. "Timing couldn't be more awesome."
Here, the breakout star subtleties the convergence of messages he's gotten from fans and his expectations for a potential Season 2 of Emily in Paris.
What do you believe are some regular misguided judgments that Americans may have about French individuals?
I lived in L.A. for a very long time when I was truly youthful, and I saw what individuals thought of Paris and French individuals. I didn't see numerous assumptions. I thought they were pretty right on the money. Obviously, for the ones who never left the States, they're actually riding this old banality. Yet, you know, those adages are genuine, and they're here on the grounds that they exist, and they're important for the appeal. Despite the fact that French individuals would prefer not to let it out, this is us. This is truly us.
What scene was the most diversion for you to film?
I wouldn't state fun as far as, it's an interesting scene, however amusing to shoot, was most likely my last scene, which is where I bid farewell to Emily, on the grounds that I should go to Normandy. Furthermore, I was truly associated with that second. Lily gives you so much, and practically you should simply respond to the feelings she's sending your direction. Along these lines, it was truly fun, since it felt truly natural. Also, toward the end, when the scene was finished, I needed to return to myself and I … it's one of the scenes where I felt more associated with Gabriel's quintessence.
Did you have an encounter that way, where you needed to move away, before?
Goodness, better believe it. My whole life. I've been voyaging at regular intervals. My folks were voyaging a great deal, and I needed to rehash myself in each city and nation I was visiting. Thus, better believe it, it unquestionably rang a bell.
It's practically similar to you were an Emily.
[Laughs.] I've unquestionably been an Emily. Better believe it.
There were a great deal of little insinuations in the content when it came to food. Were there any minutes where you were shooting when you all couldn't keep a straight face?
Gracious, I think one about the most clever scenes we needed to shoot was the one with Gérard, Camille's bare dad. We shot the scene at the pool with Emily, finding him bare, thereafter. Furthermore, we began with the scene where he returns from the pool, and I'm similar to, "Gracious, have you met Gérard?" We knew the part since we read the content, however we hadn't met the entertainer. Also, when he came in with his robe and his champagne jug and this energy, we were unable to keep a straight face. We truly would giggle at each take and resemble, "Stunning, he is so impeccably cast. This is stunning." And Christophe [Guybet], the entertainer, is very interesting, in actuality, too. Along these lines, it was truly difficult to experience that scene.
Photograph credit: CAROLE BETHUEL/NETFLIX That sounds astonishing. The finale sort of closures with a cliffhanger. Where might you want to see Emily and Gabriel's story go from that point?
I think this is an inquiry Darren needs to reply, since he began this dramatization and I wouldn't try to contact any of his work, since he's so acceptable at it. Everything I can let you know is that I trust that every one of them will discover a state of joy and comprehension, on the grounds that there's a lot to be talked about.
Is there anything that you might want to see from Gabriel if there was another season?
I trust he will get a pristine café where he will have the option to sprout and do what he needs. Since he was still somewhat choked in the former one. I simply need to see his imaginative psyche at work in another spot, sponsored up by Antoine. Also, as far as connections, as I let you know, Darren is coordinating everything, and we're simply playing the instruments.
There was an adoration triangle all through between Gabriel, Emily, and Camille. Is there anything you examined with Lily and Camille Razat about what you needed to pass on with these entwining romantic tales?
All things considered, I realize that Camille truly tried to play Camille [the character], as though she recognized what was happening [between Emily and Gabriel].
She truly played that card and left everything open. She planted the seed so anything could occur in Season 2. What's more, I knew Camille from the past task, just before Emily in Paris. So we were practically similar to siblings and sisters. Also, Lily, we just associated right from the start. The last tryout I had, I got into a room and we did two or three scenes, and we in a flash fortified. She's so giving and liberal that it's hard not to coexist with her. She's an expert. Furthermore, I was actually a superior entertainer and a superior man in the wake of working with her.
Since Emily is an influencer, web-based media has a major presence on the show. It is safe to say that you are a major web-based media or Instagram client by and by?
Not generally. No. I like to post a little aesthetic picture now and again. Instagram was more an approach to speak with certain companions, such as being on WhatsApp or whatever else. Yet, presently, it's extraordinary. I have many messages. I don't have the foggiest idea whether I can keep up. So it's somewhat overpowering. Yet, I like the consideration. It's consistently ideal to feel approved and cherished, and I'm attempting to explore this as well as could be expected.
You mean messages from new fans and individuals who watch the show?
Truly. Generally. Since my Instagram wasn't so insane before that.
What's more, do you set aside the effort to peruse every last bit of it, or do you only sort of take it for what it is and let it stay there?
You know, individuals consistently advise me not to get assimilated into this dark opening of noting everyone, since it'll be perpetual. Yet, since the show just dispatched and it was so generally welcomed and I got so much love and regard and great criticism, I feel committed, as it were, to give back however much as could be expected to the fans, since they've been astonishing and it wouldn't be conceivable without them. So I'm simply doing what I can, yet, you know, it would take more than one individual to answer every one of those messages.
Photograph credit: STEPHANIE BRANCHU/NETFLIX Looking through a ton of the responses on Twitter and Instagram, you're, similar to, the Internet's new most loved sentimental love intrigue and sweetheart. Is it awkward to feel like more eyes are on you? How are you managing all the consideration?
I figure the circumstance couldn't be better, since I'm in Budapest. I'm in my lodging in isolate, I'm going from set to my room, and I'm pretty separated. I don't generally feel what's happening. It feels pretty dreamlike when my companions outline for me, "Everyone discusses you," and stuff that way, since this isn't my existence right now. It's virtual to me, you know?
So I simply feel appreciative for the consideration and the adoration. It's lowering, since it happened so quick. I can't feel any extraordinary. It's simply been longer than seven days, and my life is as yet the equivalent I actually feel the equivalent. However, it's a serious excursion.
What do you believe Gabriel's Instagram wo

A Court of Wings and Ruin (A Court of Thorns and Roses #3), Sarah J. Maas
5/5 stars
HOW DO I EVEN DESCRIBE MY FEELINGS?! I CAN'T!!!! I took my time reading this, relishing the story and the characters for the last "first" time. I'm so glad Sarah will be writing more stories in Prythian. Especially because I felt like there were a lot of stories we didn't see that were crucial to his final battle. (Lucien, Vassa, Mr. Archeron, Miryam and Drakon, Jurian, Tamlin.) I loved this book, though my greatest issues were some of the twists and plot points were anti-climatic and there were a lot of questions that remained. Hopefully to be answered in upcoming stories. Spoilers below! Questions: What about Nesta's powers once the Cauldron was broken? Why did she ignore Cassian after that semi-romantic scene with him and the King? What actually happened to her when she was in the Cauldron? Didn't her powers seem anti-climatic? I thought she was potentially a death-god? How will she deal with the death and PTSD following the battle/losing her father? What about that bloodline of that ancient Fae that runs through a human line? It was barely mentioned? I believe that was the Fae who bound the Carver and its siblings? Wasn't the ending too good to be true? Getting Rhys back the same way Feyre was revived at the end of ACOTAR and getting Amren back in a High Fae form? Papa Archeron finding Vassa and meeting up with Lucien and Miryam and Drakon running into them??? Also, not sensing that Miryam and Drakon had wards up on their island and they didn't think to tell Rhys?! After we discover Elain is a seer, she suddenly doesn't have any more visions and acts normal?! WHOA. The relationships: Feyre and Rhys: Awesome. Even though there wasn't a lot of tension since they were mates. The only tension-y portion was the beginning when Feyre was spying in the Spring Court. Nesta and Cassian: Played out exactly the way I wanted. Nesta is very closed off and definitely isn't good at expressing herself, even in dire moments. I definitely need more. Also, Rhys and Feyre wondering if their mates made me squeal. Mor and Azriel: What a truth bomb! Mor prefers females, which is awesome. And it makes so much sense about why she wouldn't hook up with Azriel after hundreds of years of pining on his end. I wish this relationship had seen more honesty and had a sort of climax or resolution. Elain and Lucien: LOL Elain's not into it, or at least would rather get to know him first. I would love to hear more about this. Elain and Azriel: Did anyone else sense romance here? Or at least a BROTP? I would love for them to be best friends. Truth-Teller ending the King was awesome. Definitely need more moments here. Elain's surprise at Azriel's rescue at the Hybern Camp and when he gave her Truth-Teller... Mor and Cassian: So are they into each other or not? Seems like they're just good friends but then there's still allusions to a love-triangle with Azriel in this book?? Friends, please. Lucien and Feyre: I really wanted to see more of the original BROTP in this book. They went through so much crap together Under the Mountain and even though Lucien was a shitty friend in ACOMAF, he and Feyre went through hell in the beginning of this book. Especially when she made Tamlin think they were in to each other. But ESPECIALLY when they were fighting his family for their lives. I wanted to see their friendship at the Night Court more. Tamlin and Feyre: I wanted more of a resolution than the note. He's hurt, but he loves her so much. Tamlin was the love interest throughout the entire first book. I felt that he deserved more page time, even if I don't like him. He was a huge part of Feyre's journey. Lucien and Helion: Can you meet?!?!?!?!?! I thought Sarah might kill Helion and then Lucien would inherit his powers, but I guess we shall see. Lucien and Eris: Eris clearly has regrets, thought clearly not a good dude. There seems to be more to his story with Mor and with Lucien, which I would really like to see. Especially if he kills Beron. Feyre and Azriel: Flying lessons, so sweet. Plus when they went to save Elain. And when he saved her from the Autumn Court and defended her at the meeting at Dawn Court. Ugh, Court of Dreams! Feyre and Cassian: Serious BROTP. Could be great brother and sister-in-laws, just saying. Definitely love them training together. When Cassian was pissed that she didn't tell him she was High Lady, I thought it was kind of weird and a little late out of the gate. Feyre and Vassa: I like how Feyre was like, girl, I'm a queen, too, okay. Definitely want more of the story here. Rhys and Elain and Nesta: He's literally their brother-in-law and they spent almost zero time together. They were with Rhys in the Night Court for months!!! No bonding or experiences to speak of? It made me laugh when Rhys flew with Nesta and she threw up and he just yelled, "sorry!" Amren and Varian: OKAY!! OKAY!! OKAY!! Gimme more! Elain and Greyson: Definitely need her to get over this a-hole. Glad she seems to be coming around though. And I'm glad humans fought in the battle. Miryan and Drakon and Jurian: Please tell me more. I really liked this book, but after ACOMAF I just felt it could have been done better. There a lot of threads that still need to be answered, and hopefully will be, but as I've said, I never really thought our characters would lose. So it felt anticlimatic. When Rhys died I was like, WTF SARAH. But all is well. I felt like the last hundred pages were seriously rushed, especially with all of the stories converging into one big battle. I don't think that was plausible, even in a fantasy world. Amren is second in command and she felt like an outsider the entire time. Her betrayal was not totally unexpected to me and seemed like such a big deal and then a page later Feyre's like "Oh, okay, nbd Amren." And I'm like ????????? That Jurian twist didn't have me convinced. Again, too good to be true, I thought. Nesta and Cassian's showdown with the King was awesome, loved their dynamic there. And I totally forgot about Elain until she freakin' stabs the King with Truth-Teller, and finally shows the bit of spine I was hoping she would. I still have so many thoughts and questions that I can't even piece them together. But I love Prythian, I love Sarah's writing, I love these characters, and I'm so glad we'll be back for more. I need to find out what happens next and see the evolution of these characters' relationships. I want to see Nesta, Elain and Lucien integrated into the Court of Dreams. (And perhaps Varian?) Also, love me some Tarquin. We definitely need to know what happened with Papa Archeron, especially after his story was cut off so quickly. Which has completely destroyed Nesta. He had a large turn-around. Also, the story with the Queens confuses me. The Queens rule one land below the wall on the Continent? Is that it? I can't wait to see what kind of Treaty Prythian reinstates between Fae and humans. SO MUCH MORE STORY TO TELL! And Feyre and Rhysand and the Court of Dreams better be a large part of it! Nesta is my favorite character.

HUGE INDICATOR ON THE ETHEREUM CHART!! Bitcoin Price Analysis | Oil and DJI Technical Analysis
VIDEO TRANSCRIPT
Hello and welcome back to our Coin Buzz. It’s me, Jimbo, backfrom on the market update. In today’s video, we’re going to recap our Bitcoin technical analysis. We’re gonna dive into the theoryand 3-Day chart where there’s a big pan brewing. We will also round up oil and the Dow Jones index where we’ve seen significant moves on those charts worth keeping on. And before we conclude today’s video, I want to go over to lower cap projects, technical analysis, one being ultra us and the other being V are a veracity. If you’re interested in that, make sure you stick around to the end of the video to check it out. If you like the contact we make here on O’Quinn pose, please slap a log on the video that helps us get the content to more people. And if you want a chance to win that crypto tag Zu Stotsky at our weekly giveaway or you need to do is be subscribe to the channel if you know already and leave a comment down below can be whatever you want and you’ll be entered into the draw and we’re going to announce the winner next Saturday, as we normally do we to start right here on the weekly chart. And as you can see, we’re currently above that six thousand five hundred support resistance area. We have failed to break the 7300 resistance that we’ve been focusing on as well. Now seeing our weekly exponential moving average from crossing to the bare side, but clearly still trading underneath us. So it’s a downtrend on the weekly chart. Be nice to see this weekly close above the 6500. So we’ve got about 24 to 30 odd hours left on this scandal. So be interesting to see where that closes. If we stay above 6500, then I wouldn’t be surprised to see us retest seven thousand three hundred. Whether or not we break down or up. But I do think from a personal bias perspective, we’re still more likely to break down, even though we have seen a bit of bullish price action on this week. Kind of note that the volume continues to decline here. And I’m just gonna show you an alternative view of the weekly as well with this potential falling wedge pattern that we’ve got playing out. And as you can see, we’ve got our support box in place on this chart as well. Now, what I want to focus on here is we’re very close. You can see that we’re at that resistance. We’ve been rejected once again. And this could play a couple of ways. If we are to see this play out as a falling wage, I’d anticipate that the next candle would break sharply to the downside and break this resistance of 5800. And if not, before coming back up and in testing, and then we’re going to fall back down into this range. Now, that doesn’t mean that we won’t see it break out from there, perhaps test this is support for moving up, but that’s only if this is validated as a falling wage, which it very well could be. If if we see this close where it is at the moment and see almost instant rejection on the next weekly candle. So something to bear in mind, could you seeing a falling wedge pattern playing out here? And it’s important to remember that Phoolan which is a bullish pattern, but that doesn’t mean that price can’t trade lower before we break out. So, you know, like I said, we see rejection. We come down. It’s test these areas again and then we break out. And of course, we’ve got this really critical Long-Term and Resistance line up here. Once we break this lock, once we break this line, it’s a long way away. We’re all the way revan our lowest point. And we’ve got drawn out minutes at 9000 current trading price. It’s current trading time. It’s sat at about 10 hour, ten and a half thousand. So it’s a long way away. But that line is all the all important once we break that bull mode, engage. As I’ve said before, so here on the data, you can see we’re currently battling inside the midst of our exponential moving average ribbon. We’ve gone on and tested the 50 a couple of times in the last Aley cameras and been rejected each time. Also seen those daily closes with lower highs each time. That’s very often a signal that we’re going to see a reversal. But it was still above the 20 exponential moving average. And as you can see, the last time we broke it, that source and get some downside action and it could very possibly happen again if we are to see it break that 20 exponential moving average. Expect some further downside. And if we did break that on the daily chart, we can put this long term support line into place that we’ve respected on several occasions. And this is going to be really important to keep an eye on this pattern here. We’ve obviously got that six thousand five hundred support and this support line on the daily chart now giving us this crossover convergence. And I mentioned these before. I often find that and this is just from my own personal experience where you have a convergence of supports. If they break, the more violently they break. So people are some people are watching six thousand five hundred potentially. Some people are watching this long term trend line of this trend line from that started back on the 13th of March. So if they both break at the same time, you can expect to see significant downside. And if we do break that, then I’d anticipate at least a test of this 4900 term red support line, if not the box below, just to see if there’s anything more bullish we can see in any of our indicators here. We’ve got the max-d, the RSI and the stochastic RSI, stochastic RSI really up in the heavens at the moment in the Hizbul area, looking likely to cross back down. We’ve got that pincer motion occurring right now, which is usually the first. Break back down again. That’s not always the case, it can’t be rejected and pump higher, but when it’s sort of hovering in these dangerous levels, there’s a lot more space for the momentum to move to the downside. max-d slowly creeping up with no significant marks here in the green. You know, we’re actually seeing lower green bars here and which is again a suggestion that dementedly momentum is slowing up. RSI looks like it’s still failing to break. The 50 level, which is obviously quite important, we are facing resistance there right now. And if we break, it’s going to actually allow us to have a really strong break out and show you why and because we’ve got these peaks here and we’ve actually gone on to surpass these. Which is a good sign, but it’s now seeing rejection at the 50. So actually on the RSI, if we can see this break up past that 50 level quickly, actually I anticipate that to get followed with quite a good bit of volume and but we’ll have to wait and see. It’s still the volume on this move, which is making me less confident that we’re likely to continue to move up. We’re still seeing our volume decreasing. No real bullish signs that the breakout is happening just yet. Of course, as I keep stating that once we break this level, it’s 7300. If we can get a daily close above that, which will coincide with this 50 exponential moving average. They’ll assess above the exponential moving average ribbon on the daily and pass this critical resistance. And that’s going to be for me, the trigger that says us break this long term resistance line and get back into this previous trading range. And I’ll be really excited to see if that happens. And you guys will be the first to know if it does. Theoryand Bitcoin 3-Day pairing on politics here. I’ve got two extremely bullish potential child pandher playing out for you guys to see. And as you can see, we’re looking at theoryand bitcoin pairing and we’ve got this large descending triangle pattern playing out now in traditional market to lower timeframes. Ascending triangles are often seen as a bearish indicator because the price is being squeezed lower and lower. You can see people are taking profits at lower points each time along the descending triangle pattern and that’s what gives us this shape. And in cryptocurrencies and generally from our own trading purposes, I dont tend to look at them as immediately bearish patterns. I look at them as a totem in range, which can brakey the way because they very often do. And the reason I want to highlight this chart to you today is very bullish nature of what I’m seeing develop here. And remember, this is the 3-Day chart and we’ve seen this double bottom and pattern play out here towards a support line of the descending triangle. And what I want to really focus on is once we formed this lower high here, this is what our volume really started to pick up. People noticed that we’d had this sort of double bottom pattern and the volume really picked up. We broke out of the long term resistance line and we virtually respected it all the way down through this and sell off with our volume decreasing all the way down. As you can see, we’re starting to look grow very green and bullish on the three day chart. Again, this could be a very, very good opportunity to get into a theory and before a large move against bitcoin. Again, I’m not a financial advisor. Nrama Given your financial advice, I’m just a dude on YouTube calling the shots as I see them, but this looks like a really bullish pattern and it could be one of the cheapest entries for a theory. And if this does mark a really good bull, run for it. If we have broken this pattern and we’re gonna start seeing more bullish price action, this could be a fantastic entry at 0.2. One so worth keeping. I noticed that our expert exponential moving average Rivard here on the three day hasn’t been positive since 2008 in July and we crossed back over in February and we look like we’re on our way to respecting this cross because as our price action is now starting to pick back up again, it’s starting to look very likely that we’ll see L20 bounce before crossing back below the 50. And that’s going to signal another bullish move if we do see that happen. So keep your eyes peeled on this three chart, of course, as normal. Nothing’s guaranteed, but it does look very bullish. If you’re an avid viewer of all combos, you would have known that I was looking for a trade set up on oil and boy, did we get the mother of all trades at. I want to go into to more detail on this chart and show you exactly what played out. Now, first of all, zoom out to the monthly so you can see where our lines come from. This was our support and resistance areas formed by this trend from all the way back in 2008. So very long term trend. And I was saying, look, we’ve broken below this support line will go down now into the lower timeframes and see how it looks there. So we broke this key suppor back a few days ago and I was bringing it to your attention last week that we were hovering around in this zone and look at the balance. Now, if I go down to the four hour chart, I’m going to show you is a perfect added mini reversal bottom below the support line. So we saw it supports a couple of times, a couple of nice bounces became below. And here was the opportunity to trade. We saw one sharp Adam bottom and then one more smooth and rounded eav bottom before we broke the support line once again. And even if you’d have just entered off the break of the support line, which we’ve had highlighted for some time now, you could have taken already thirty two point eight percent and thirty two point eight percent trading. Oil is a serious, serious trade. This was absolutely clear. As day played out, you can now see our exponential moving average ribbon on the four hours cross back to the positive entry was all the way down here. Once we set this new ones, we set this rounded bottom message, the entry down here, fantastic trade set up. We’ll keep an eye out for. Adam and Eve reversals right here on our old coin Buzz. But what a great position for oil. We’re now seeing it recover. Question is how high will it go? Huge gap in the 4 hour chart. Here we are facing significant resistance at the moment. This high volume area. So I wouldn’t be surprised to see if we do see a peel peel back. But it’s a crazy market with oil and with the geopolitical situation changing daily, this could certainly keep pumping to the upside. We’re going to quickly recap the DGI before we move back over to the crypto markets, because I’ve been keeping an eye on this for you guys also. And again, it’s it’s imperative to keep our eye on these other financial markets because it’s giving us an idea of how the recovery’s going from the current crisis. Can you say on the 4 hour chart still being rejected from the bottom of the exponential moving average ribbon? So tomorrow’s open for Monday on the Dow Jones can be really interesting. Do we see it spike back into this exponential moving ribbon ban or are we going to come back down and support and test this previous SUPPOR area? And per again, from a personal perspective, I believe there’s still more downside to come. You can see on the daily it’s a clear rejection of the exponential moving average and we’ve come back down at Monday’s open is actually imperative looking at this right now because we could break this 21000 suppor once again. And last time we did that, really put us down into the dark ages in terms of price action for serious, serious lows. And I would suggest that as we’ve been rejected and now we’re coming down again, that we may even set a new low. But let’s wait and see there. Now, Monday’s close is absolute. Monday’s open. Sorry, is absolutely imperative for this. Next, I want to go and take a look at two low cap cryptocurrencies. Now, I want to point out the technical analysis isn’t as strong for the low cap projects because the liquidity isn’t the same. So the charts aren’t always as predictive as they are in more fluid and liquid markets. However, that doesn’t mean that we can’t have a look at them. You just have to bear in mind that we take it with an extra pinch of salt, but we can use them. And I’m going to show you one of them just how wild these chophouse play out, even on a low market cap. So let’s get into that. So I’ve jumped over to charged or coin traded up pro to do the technical analysis of one of my favorite projects is ultra ticker. Is your s? No, I’m not here to shill projects. So all I can do is advise you to go and check their website out. Mountain coin, market cap on whatever you’ve got to do, but go and do your own research on this project. They’re working within the blockchain gaming and NFTE areas and they are very exciting. And the reason I want to highlight this chart to you and as I said, we have to take the low market cap technical analysis with extra pinch of salt, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t apply. And there’s a few things that I really want to focus on. Clearly we are in and at it’s at least a tightening range. You could definitely wouldn’t be out of place by describing this as a symmetrical train, which is a continuation pattern as we broke into the symmetrical triangle on the upside, that would suggest that we’re going to break it to the upside and continue our push on upwards. Now, the other things I want to highlight to you here are to do with accelerations of and buying pressure. OK, so we’ve got this long term trend line here, the long white line that you can see. And what I want to highlight is this here. So what you can see is we tested the support John McCain, but we came up and we broke back down. What happened was we didn’t get all the way down to the trend line. Right. So the buying pressure came in before we even came back to the long term support. And that began and began a very, very strong rally up to the upside. Okay. Here again, we’ve broken down and we’ve come and tested our support line and we’ve seen another push up come back down. But again, we haven’t made it all the way back down to the long term trend line. You can see this tweezer candlestick formation down here. What this suggests to us is that there’s extremely large buying pressure down here. And for that to happen above this long term support line is a really bullish symbol. And you can see once again, we’re breaking to the upside week, looking to go and test our long term resistance line up here. And if we break through that, expect this thing to really, Frode, some fireworks. The other thing that I really want to draw your attention to is this huge candle of volume right here. Now, as I said, it’s a lower market cap coin. It’s daily use. You average trading volume is somewhere between 50 or $100000. But here, just after we saw our tweezer reversal, we had a bit of a price backdrop. And when it did come down here, someone or some people put a huge amount of buying pressure. And at this point, they saw the strength of the project. They saw the strength of the technicals and they made a big move. This was almost two and a half million dollars worth of trading volume on one day. And as I said, considerably higher than the average. It would suggest that there’s some serious buying pressure going on here. And don’t expect. Don’t be surprised if things really, really start to fly. Once we break this long term resistance line, we’ve got to keep an eye on a hair on Aucoin post. If you are an ultra US fan, keep tuning in because I’m going to continue to review this chart as and when we test this resistance or previous support areas. I think that we may even see this. On this on this particular pumpin, I’m going off the back of this strong volume here for that. Next up, I want to have a look at V R A. The project name is Veracity. You may have some fans of the out there. I want to show you something really strong in the technicals for today’s technical analysis. Here we are on the veracity bitcoin show on hit BTC. This particular chart can be found on trading view, but our normal indicators on and what I want to really focus to is these two huge tightening range formations that we’ve got here. And this is the daily chart we’re looking at. This was played out between December 2019 all the way through to the twenty sixth of January. And where you can see here is we had this tightening range and we broke out of it. What happened was we continue to trade along our support line for quite some time. But when we did finally bounce and we. By not breaking the support, we didn’t invalidate this triangle. And so what happened was we finally sprung off the suppor and then we saw this massive push up to the exponential moving, average driven. We saw some resistance bounce within it and then broke up to form a second triangle formation that we can see. And once again, we’re just breaking out of this resistance line and going on to testing this exponential moving average ribbon. Now, this could be the beginning of a really large move, in my personal opinion, over the long timeframes. And if we put this resistance line in here, I would personally be looking if we were to break through this exponential moving average ribbon on the daily, put my targets up here on this long term trend line, which is a long, long way away. So let’s say we trade off the bottom of the off the break of the 50 exponential moving average. There’s still, you know, almost 80 percent movement now. So certainly worth keep an eye on VRA, certainly worth keeping an eye on us. Both look like they could see big moves in the short term future. That is going to conclude today’s video. I hope you enjoyed the content today. If you have make should slap a logo on the video, it helps us get the content to as many people as possible. If you want a chance to win the crypto tags, who Stotsky or you need to do is be subscribe to the channel and leave a comment down below. Maybe let me know what your favorite project is. That’s all we need to do. I’ll be back later on in the week for another market update. Until then, guys, take care. Bye.

Legends of the Occult
Have you ever found yourself contemplating on all the mysteries of the universe? I am not talking about what we know but all things that are yet undiscovered, physical and spiritual, all wrapped into one? Have you wanted to know the philosophies of all beings in the universe, not just humankind?
If you are looking for answers in this life about why you exist than you are probably looking for secrets from the occult. The occult is all the mysteries of magic and the supernatural universe. What is considered occult today may not be so in the future, when we have learned more about science, and technology. Some of the inventions that we have today would be considered magic if they had been brought into the past.
Modern medicine itself displays the symbol of Hermes, the god that is the messenger between us. He stands as a bridge between the seen and unseen. He is one who can receive messages from the supernatural realms and bring them to the Earth plane. His symbol and many other modern day symbols would be considered as occult. Today, his symbol with the snake and staff is commonly used in medicine. Even our money has the mysterious eye, a symbol of the occult marked onto it to point out that clearly it holds intense power over us.
It may simply be that the entire universe is magic and supernatural so that figuring out the answers to our questions is simply a matter of evolution. I want to give you a glimpse into the realm of the supernatural and if you are just curious and wise enough, you may walk even further down the paths. All those who see it will find something at the end of their journey that has meaning. This is the nature of the world as we know it, both physical and spiritual. God is there with us in the beginning and in the last, what is his face, how will we perceive it? How will we communicate with it?
Branches There is a strong symbolization of a witch on a broom with branches. There are many theories as to this but the truth is that there is a lot of magic in wood. A tree branch of any numerous types of tree can become magic if used properly. Seeing as how God created us from bones, what could we create with branches? This is the art of mimicking the magic of the Gods. Different types of wood hold unique sensations over us. The wisdom that one has can make one into witch, is there such an evil as being to knowledgeable?
Mictlan
Sabiduría del Ser 49
Mictlan is the Aztec underworld. It contained nine different stages. Because there is such a long journey, it is advised to pray for the dead even after they have passed as this will help them on their eternal way.
In order for one to become at peace, all things must be sorted out within matters of the head, heart, and soul. As one knows, this journey could take years to complete.
Palmistry Just a glance down at the palm of your left hand can be a sign that you are headed into the world of magic. Palmistry is the art of foretelling the future by the lines in your hands. Palmistry corresponds greatly to astrology. Those holding a cross in the center of their palms are said to be psychic.
TV Symbols Why is it that the symbol of the one eye affects us so deeply? Scientists have speculated that at one time we may have had a real third eye and that it got lost deep within our pineal gland in our brain. The third eye is set as a marker over the Baphomet, or the idolization of the devil. I look at symbols like a blue eye from CBS that looks strikingly similar to this magical occult eye, and the eyes on a peacock’s tail from deep Greek mythology that also stand for another major network. Whether we like to admit it or not, we have invoked something with this symbol that is very powerful and widespread. This is a psychological brain patterning. What are we becoming?
The Dragons Eye The Dragons Eye is a symbol with beginnings in Germany. It is a triangular shape with a downward facing Y design in the middle. The inside of the triangle is a symbolization of the choice between good or evil. If properly invoked, this symbol can bring you protection from evil.
What is so mysterious about the land of the dead that we cannot wait to know? What is wrong with knowing? Perhaps it is our human ways plotting and planning for the future much like squirrels, we are hiding away acorns, from the trees of wisdom to consume later. Some of us, like me cannot accept the way things are in order to find true peace we should first address the chaos living inside so that we may put it to rest eternally.
Feathers of you by Deanna Jaxine Stinson You have owl’s eyes A geometric masque A beautiful disguise Mysterious and wise I am the tree onto which you stand I am connected with everything And everyone A breathe of this universe My heart tangled up in vines Claws grasped around it I am like wood to your soul Trapped in the center Holes open into shrines In this enchanted forest Where than spirits rest Watching and wishing with My dragon’s eye Over time I am wondering I can’t tell the difference, If I am a prisoner? Or the princess… Love, power and wisdom Revolves around us like rotating planets Changing into something brillant What did you take for granite? Like feathers and leaves falling piercing Visualizing where you are Light from the stars shooting Urging us to reach out into Heaven Betrayal and retributions A cycle of premonitions A breeze blowing past A pattern in time Retro cognition Wings opened and shadows are cast And then you are gone with the moon And I cannot move from here so soon, so fast My roots bound deep into the Earth Searching for what’s underground Precious artifacts like amber and diamonds Metal rivers in the rock Silver and gold merging What is this worth Of my soul converging into the dirt While you fly on into the night Seeking to fill your hunger Until you are satisfied but You will never be done seeking until you die
