my first set of fan art for Mind Control University, an absolutely captivating work of erotic(-ish) fiction that I love to pieces! enough so that it made me finally stop being a lurker and create some nsfw(-ish) art of my own ~ (also posted on hypnohub)

Ripple Effect by SabreCMC (18k) - After the events of Infinity War, Steve is sent back in time on a desperate mission to find the Tesseract. Instead, he meets up with 21-year old Tony, still reeling from his parents' deaths. Who, naturally, tries to climb Steve like a tree. Somehow, this fixes everything.
Rated: Teen? It's a chapter in a large fic, but I'd say Teen for this one
Warnings: Tony is 21, drunk, and making questionable decisions. Might make some people uncomfortable.
Thoughts: OMG just Steve characterization in this is so interesting to me and very deep. I always enjoy Sabre's fics and this one is just knocked right out of the park. There's so much tragedy in Steve in the beginning when he goes back in time and tries to figure out what to do.
Note: You'll need to be logged into Ao3 to read this one.

Author: napricot Date: 12 Jul 2021 Chapters: 1/1; 19,142 words Fandom: Marvel Cinematic Universe, Captain America (Movies), The Avengers (Marvel Movies), The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (TV) Rating: Explicit Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: James "Bucky" Barnes/Sam Wilson, Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov Characters: Sam Wilson (Marvel), James "Bucky" Barnes, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanov (Marvel) Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Canon Divergence, Fix-It, Natasha Romanov Lives, Steve on the Moon, Established Relationship, Pre-OT4, Steve's Space Adventures Summary:
THE MOON LANDING IS REAL NOW: STEVE ROGERS IN SPACE, PROTECTING PLANET EARTH! And maybe finding love with a buxom space babe??
“Jesus Christ,” Sam mutters. “This Steve on the moon conspiracy is getting out of control.”
Except it turns out that it might not just be baseless conspiracy theory fodder for the tabloids. Not when Natasha has returned, alive and well, and certain that Steve, their Steve, will come back home too, if he hasn't become totally lost in the vastness of spacetime.
Bookmarker's Notes:
This is adorable! Excellent Endgame fixit

I'm a newbie to the Stony fandom by way of the MCU and was told the Resurrectionverse was one of my first must reads. Is there anything I should know going in that I wouldn't because I don't know the comics well?
That’s a complicated question. I’m going to post a short version that just lists major differences from the MCU and a long version that’s a summary of the comics backstory.
Short version: RR&R is a fixit fic for the 616 comics version of Civil War (and a previous event called Disassembled). The two biggest and most important differences between MCU and 616 Civil War are:
1) In the comics, Steve and Tony are much closer friends then they ever were in the movies/have been close friends for a decade, and
2) Instead of an international set of “accords” about superhero activity, the Civil War conflict is about the American government wanting to make every superpowered person join a registry and be subject to government oversight (this is thousands-to-millions of people rather than a few dozen because the comics also include mutants/the X-Men, and “Mutant Registration” is a political goal that anti-mutant conservatives in the comics have wanted for decades, we know from various X-Men storylines where people come back in time from alternate futures that in timelines where it’s implemented it often leads to very bad dystopian things), with Steve on the “fuck this idea and fuck you”/tear the system down side and Tony on the “if we cooperate maybe it won’t be as bad”/try to reform the corrupt system from within side. Bucky Barnes/the Winter Soldier has nothing to do with it. Also the conflict ends with Steve surrendering and then getting publicly assassinated by bad guys.
Other important differences:
Spider-Man is an early-20s adult who is married to MJ.
Tony Stark is about twenty years younger/the same age as Steve and is less of a manic-depressive quippy maverick and more of a clinically depressed control freak (who has never been romantically involved with Pepper). In the past he struggled with severe alcoholism and is now sober in the “I never drink alcohol ever” way.
Nick Fury is a white guy with a completely different backstory and personality from MCU Fury (and there was never an Agent Coulson, his right hand man is a guy named Dugan).
Hank Pym and Jan Van Dyne/Ant-Man and the Wasp were two of the original Avengers and are in their 30s with zero children (Hope doesn’t exist). Hank canonically has bipolar disorder and in the past has done both crazy mad scientist things and shitty relationship-destroying things while manic.
Luke Cage is married to Jessica Jones and they have a kid. There is a character named Spiderwoman/Jessica Drew. She is a physically enhanced former ninja who has nothing to do with Spider-Man.
Dr. Strange was involved in the whole Civil War thing on Steve’s/the anti-Registration side. The anti-Registration Avengers are crashing at his house (instead of in Wakanda) when the story starts.
Clint was never part of SHIELD and has a totally different backstory (he’s not in the first fic for reasons of temporary deadness but appears in the sequels).
Thor and the Asgardians are supernatural being/possibly actual deities rather than aliens. Thor was briefly dead during the whole registration fight but got better.
Jarvis is a human rather than an AI.
Sam Wilson/the Falcon has a pet bird that he’s psychically soul bonded to.
Bucky did not kill T’Challa’s father and T’Challa is not significantly involved in the Civil War conflict beyond glaring disapprovingly at it from Wakanda.
Wanda Maximoff/the Scarlet Witch is a mutant and one of Magneto’s kids. Prior to the whole Civil War thing she disastrously lost control of her powers and went crazy, destroying the Avengers’ headquarters and killing Vision and Clint (she later brings Clint back via those same powers). At the start of the story she is MIA.

Bring back the hulk alter ego as gray hulk/Joe fixit. The savage hulk persona is sort of like an infant, pure emotion but in the body of a monster. In Thor: Ragnarok he acts like a toddler since he’s been in his hulk form for two straight years, essentially as mentally developed as a toddler that age
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So he lets banner take over in endgame to have “the best of both worlds,” but maybe hulk is still developing since his body is still physically present while banner is in control. So the whole time, hulk grows into a cunning conniving bastard who wants to take back control and it becomes a literal power struggle between the two personas again. In the comics, gray hulk becomes a gangster in Las Vegas so he could be part of some kind of vigilante crime syndicate or something idk. Banner blacks out and wakes up panicking to undo the damage hulk is doing again, but this time it’s pre planned methodical trouble instead of actual property damage
ALSO
Tumblr media
It would be a fun chance to introduce wolverine as the antagonist hunting hulk down for department h, low key doing detective work and following whatever weird criminal activity hulk is up to as Bruce tries to undo it and evade being captured
They could even include Jen for a cool buddy team up
Tumblr media
Also Ty Burrell was set up as green hair Fabio scientist, Doc Samson and this would also be the perfect time to bring him back as Bruce’s sort of therapist. I’d even take a cameo in She-Hulk, I’d just like to see this play out

What's your favourite line from United States Antarctica?
Oh man there’s so many bits from that fic that I love. Here’s two of my fave exchanges in it
Nyoom [tommy] has changed Loki [loki] to Baby Loki
Baby Loki: if you do not change this ridiculous nickname immediately i will place a curse upon your bloodline, thomas
Nyoom: jokes on you my bloodline is already cursed
Antionette [cassie]:okay but why was billy in another universe in the first place
Maygickyk[Billy]: i was just chillin
And here’s a bit from the chapter I will one day finish writing, I swear.
Antionette: interrupting the thing where we mutually ignore each other to ask why billy called him mr doctor strange
Nyoom: because thats his name?
Hawkeye the cooler [Kate]: no his name is doctor strange
Nyoom: yeah and you’re supposed to use a “mr” in front of adults if you respect them which i dont but billy does. So its mr doctor strange
Patriot [eli]: his name is just strange
Nyoom: yeah thats what he said but i was like “yeah its up there on weird names but who am i to judge what’s weird”
Hawkeye the cooler: i am in pain
Patriot: his last name is “Strange”
Nyoom: yes i know
Patriot: so why did billy call him mr doctor strange
Nyoom: because thats his name
Antionette: kate
Hawkeye the cooler: Im pretending i cant see it
Teddy bear [Teddy]: oh i get it
Patriot: thank god at least one of you does
Teddy bear: his first name is “doctor” and his last name is “strange” so his name with a title is mr doctor strange. Because humans have two names. Right. And the “mr” is a sign of respect?
Nyoom: yeah exactly
Patriot: NO
Nyoom: mr isn’t a sign of respect?
Patriot: NO. i mean yeah kind of
Patriot: you know what nevermind
Hawkeye the cooler: it’s okay eli you tried
Antionette: i am telepathically patting you on your strangely bald head
Patriot: thanks cassie
And of course, the spiderman saga

"Surprise, Raisin-face!" - inspired by IW and its ridiculousness
I assume you have a preference?
Oh I do. Kill away.
...
Alright, stop!
Loki summons the Tesseract. Thanos smirks in triumph. Only for his face to get stuck that way. 'Cause he's frozen. 'Cause Loki just froze him using the Tesseract. Because Loki is a powerful magic user who has wielded Infinity Stones before, and had like 4 years to master the Tesseract.
Thanos reaches mentally for his connection to the Power stone in his gauntlet, only to find that oh, Loki transported it through space to his own waiting palm. So Thanos is frozen with nothing, and Loki now has the Tesseract and Power stone.
And now, for Loki's final trick! He makes a gesture, and the red veneer of the Reality stone peels back. The surrounding bodies of Asgardians resolve into what they were all along, Thanos's own forces, soundly defeated. Thanos's children are revealed to be already long dead, and those threatening Loki were mere illusions.
Surprise, raisin-face! Loki moved the Asgardians with the Tesseract, and fooled Thanos and his children into fighting each other to the death using the Aether.
But wait, Thanos whines. He thought the Collector had the Reality stone? Yeah, according to what intel, watching the previous MCU movies? Seriously, how else would you know that? Luckily, Loki anticipated that Thanos would have inexplicable knowledge of all the previous films (because the Russos wanted him to win without figuring out how he could do that without ooc heroes, nonsensical plot, and endless cheating and contrivances), so he sent the Collector a fake Aether, to fool Thanos into thinking it was there. In reality, Loki had the Aether all along.
So yeah, Loki went through the illusion thing to get Thanos's forces to kill each other. Then Loki froze Thanos just so he could show him that he'd been played. Then after Loki has a good laugh at frozen grape man, he uses the Tesseract to compress Thanos into oblivion.
Then he goes to Midgard to catch up with the Aesir, and Thor is like, where were you?, all judgey, as he does. And Loki's like oh, just dealing with a few minor nuisances. Nothing to worry about. Fixes his cape, looks awesome and spiffy. Yeah, and he has 3 Infinity stones. What of it? No one even knows. Maybe he'll go liberate the Time stone while he's here on Midgard...
