Mari Lives AU

OwO? What's this? The 25th Mari Lives AU you've seen?

You bet your ass it is. And I got brain rot to air out. Okay, so these are notes straight out of my Google Docs'. I wanna write a couple chapters first before I start posting. I think I wrote my notes too neatly instead of line of consciousness like I usually do that I wanna post them on here and Twitter (the only thing I'm deadnaming lol).

Okay so my idea is that Mari lives, they drag her to bed and she wakes up and gets them to call an ambulance but makes them swear on her version of events.

She tripped down the stairs while arguing bc she wasn’t paying attention and Basil walked in as she fell down the stairs. She’s so scared that they’re (CPS) gonna take away Sunny if anyone finds out he pushed her. Or that their parents will disown him.

When the ambulance comes Basil said the same things Mari does and Sunny goes non-verbal from stress and shock. He’s shielding Sunny.

At the hospital she’s told her ribs and spine took some hits and that she’s going to be wheelchair bound for a while. It’ll take months of phy therapy to regain the ability to walk. She’s not happy about this but at least her family is still together. And since no one but the 3 knew Sunny pushed her the others won’t hate him for this. They all think she fell on her own.

She just wants everything to stay the same.

Sunny doesn’t take the news well. He feels and thinks that he’s ruined his sister’s life. He’s convinced she’ll never walk again and that he's taken that away from her. He ends up having a mental breakdown soon after Mari is discharged from the hospital and gouges his right eye out with a spoon.

Mari is absolutely distraught and terrified over this and won’t leave her brother alone if she can help it after this.

Has a breakdown while Sunny is sleeping on her lap to Hero. She ends up yelling at him before calming down. Hero brings her away to get her to relax.

I imagine she has to use a cane after her physical therapy is mostly over and she relearns how to walk. She still has the wheelchair in case she is too tired or her back starts hurting or she pushes herself too much. I think she’d have those low back accessibility wheelchairs. And a foldable metal cane that pairs w/ her wheelchair and a glossy finish wooden one for her normal walking cane.

Above are the notes I initially made at like 2am and below are notes I made days later:

Okay so obv Mari needs her room moved to the first floor since she can’t get up the stairs anymore for a long time so the piano room is now her room (later her old room gets turned into a painting room for Sunny!). Sunny starts sleepwalking after his incident and at first it’s just him walking around in his room or walking to the door of the upstairs bathroom and waking up. One night when Mari was getting a glass of water, she noticed in the dim light that there’s a small figure standing at the top of the stairs. When he doesn’t react to her questions, she realizes he must be sleepwalking again. She starts getting worried and yells for him to wake up which he does alongside their parents who put him back to bed. This unlocks a new anxiety in Mari and one day gets a nightmare that Sunny sleepwalks to the top of the stairs and she’s at the base unable to get up to him and he crumples to the bottom. In the nightmare there’s a horrible sound when this happens and blood pools around him (skull cracked) and she just throws herself out of her wheelchair and screams as she holds him, unable to help. This deeply bothers her for days and she eventually voices this to Hero who suggests she should just ask that Sunny move to room with her like he does w/ Kel. Also the door would have a lock, she can keep an eye on him, and lastly could use the excuse to her parents that it’ll make it easier to have Sunny help her with tasks (she doesn't like how they’ve been making him do so much for her. She hates the infantilizing her parents are putting on her and thinks Sunny shouldn’t be forced to do so many chores rn. He isn’t in the right headspace for that [haha pun]).

Some small details I must put in are like Sunny having to cope/make up with his new lack of depth perception. At first there were some things he broke or damaged bc he’s having trouble judging the distance between the object he’s putting down and the surface he’s putting it on. So bc of this he kinda gets banned from the kitchen after destroying plates and cups on accident when having to make Mari her meals.

Also like Mari still trying to do things on her own and constantly trying to reach out to Sunny to like hold his hand or even give him a kiss to the forehead or cheek bc she’s scared for his well being and kinda neglects her own mental health in the process. Which leads that to fall on Hero which does eventually take a toll on him worrying about everyone so much but he pushes his feelings to the back so they can lean on him. He reasons at these tough times he has to be the ‘stable’ one. Like, isn’t that kinda his character? I think most write him like this.

(The siblings don’t get therapy for their mental health bc their father doesn’t believe in that stuff and would get deeply embarrassed and think it would be shameful if ppl hear they were going to it bc then his kids are ‘crazy’ or ‘smth’s wrong w/ them’. The mother doesn't agree w/ this but dad got the final say on this.) I may or may not be projecting cough cough. Man since I’m in the crowd that headcanons the siblings as Asian-Americans w/ shitty parents (dad is the Asian immigrant parent while mother is white or white-mixed? ) imma project so much baby!

Which leads into the fact I have a cooking scene planned! Mari, Sunny, and Hero try their hand in cooking rendang since Mari has this southeast-asian cookbook she got as a gift (yes im ref-ing the one I have irl. Also shut up, im projecting and it’s like my fav food DON'T TOUCH ME!) and wants to try smth. She picks at random. She gives Sunny very easy tasks to help them. And she notices how slow and controlled Sunny is when put things to the counter and it makes her heart clench that he’s so focused on it and scared to mess things up. She’s more eye level with the counter so she’s doing all the measuring. Just needs to tilt her head to read the numbers ez. Anytime she backs up she makes sure to look behind her so she doesn’t run over the boys. Maybe make a funny and that the end result dish is meh bc they used a bad cheap brand of coconut milk. (idk I never cooked my mother did all that)

Also in this AU, Basil is always hanging at their place bc Sunny only talks verbally by whispering in Basil’s or Mari’s ear. He’s only signs nowadays which makes Mari sad bc he made so much progress over the years with talking verbally to his friends and now it’s back to square one like when they first moved to Faraway Town (w/ the expectation of Basil since he knows).

Some small things of note are like Basil getting real close w/ Sunny now and Kel kinda feeling left out (they are 12).

Earlier on Sunny has a point where he tries to avoid touching Mari as much as possible which she def notices and shakes Basil down for details bc she knows they’ve been stuck together like pb&j recently. Eventually he conceits that Sunny is scared of hurting her anymore/again and this breaks her heart. She straightens things out by sitting her brother down and talking to him. I want this to be a heart to heart scene. If I'm not sobbing when writing then what’s the point?

For later chapters I want Sunny to start coping by painting. But hehe, he’s not painting cute things. Spooky things, creepy, scary, gorey, whatever you get the point. It’s like how he gets his emotions and worries and frustrations out. His way of venting (more healthily!). Ofc there are some more ‘normal’ things he takes to painting. Like landscapes and ppl on hills, or ballerinas, just flowy fabric stuff. It’s calming for him. And what he can show to others/family. (Basil gets to see all his art and is kinda off put by it at first but kinda shakes it off for Sunny’s sake. When Mari finds out, Sunny gets upset bc he thinks she’ll react badly bc he knows their parents would but she just kinda brushes it off bc if it makes her brother happy or is therapeutic then she has no qualms. As long as it’s not physically harming him.)

Below are snippets from a discord convo I had w/ a friend after I showed her my notes and she helped me bounce some ideas! (Friend-Red) (Me-Orange)

I think Mari’s lack of going out and about should start to slowly ruin Mari and Aubrey’s friendship. Aubrey wants to play with the two but because Sunny is basically mute and Mari is wheelchair bound, they can’t really. And this leads to Aubrey becoming the bad bitch she is when she gets older?

Omg true. Mari can’t go out to play anymore/it’s hard to bc it’s difficult to push her wheelchair in non-concrete areas especially since her arms aren’t used to it yet.

Sunny shuts down for awhile and when he starts to feel better he doesn’t speak to her anymore and maybe bc he still whispers to basil and mari she takes it personally?

Hero and Basil are often at the siblings house, Kel really the only ones that’s sticking around her in her pov

I think maybe Kim should befriend her during these times too and it’ll be a trio of her, Kim, and Kel until the others start joining them again

You planning to keep the Aubrey/Sunny crush thing around or you gonna shift it to her crushing on Kel? 👀 I know Aubrey and kel are fairly popular ship. Enemies to lovers type beat

I didn’t think about that. I was gonna be tagging this fic with Mari/Hero bc I am basic and proud and minor sunflower (basil/Sunny) but it won’t be much besides like implying that basil has a crush on him and Sunny is like kinda codependent? They are 12 so nothing serious XD as for Aubrey,,, maybe

Smth like she feels more betrayed because she had a crush on him and he’s not relying on her? And she knew that he liked her back

Solving the Future au (2)

It's been a whole month since Akito found himself back in the past, and he's been very busy since then.

First thing he did was tell Mari EVERYTHING. She didn't really believe him at first, but seeing how odd her brother was acting, how happy he was to see her, practically crying as he hugged her, it made her believe.

Oh, and the glowing lines on Akito's hands certainly help her believe him as well.

When she pointed this out to Akito, he was shocked to see the familar glowing lines on his hands. But that shouldn't be possible since KK wasn't possessing him anymore!

He quickly goes to test things out, seeing if it was still possible for him to be able to use KK's etheral weaving. To his shock, he could still weave!

Wind, Fire, Water, he could still use had them all! Also, unlike before where KK's etheral weaving was gold in color, Akito's was silver instead!

Mari stares down at Akito's hands in awe, lightly poking at the glowing lines in curiousity before looking up at her brother. "So what now Aki?"

Akito sighs and tugs Mari in for a hug. "For now lets start looking for a new place to live." He wasn't taking any chances of the fire happening again! "And... we'll go from there."

After that, it was a slow process for Akito. He had to get used to having Mari with him again, and that wasn't counting his aching body.

Wounds from all the visitors he fought in the last timeline now covered his once scarless body. One of which was a giant scar in the center of his chest where Hannya had shoved his arm through.

When Mari accidentally saw his new scars for the first time she cried... and then became enraged.

"So not only did he try to use MY body for some freaky ceremony, but he also hurt you! I'm gonna-" Needless to say, if Mari ever got her hands on Hannya, Akito got the feeling it wouldn't end well for the other man... Not that Akito cared.

Speacking of Hannya, it brought up the subject of what Akito was supposed to do with all the information he had. Should just stay out the way and let things run their course?

Akito... didn't like that idea. That would mean knowingly letting Shibuya fall into chaos, letting people get hurt or even killed, and... letting KK die again.

But what could he do?! There was no way he could just walk up to KK, who didn't even know him, and tell him, 'oh, I'm from the future'. The older man would probably laughed at his face and tell him to fuck off...

His answer finally comes to him one night while he was eating dinner with Mari. She suggests that maybe he should help from the shadows.

Help from the shadows... That could work! He could help KK and the older man's team from the shadows of the background!

He could do this! He could help KK, keep him alive this time!

"Mari. You're a genius!"

"I know, right? Now then, teach me how to fight monters, bro!"

"...What."

In the end, Mari wouldn't back down, so Akito reluctantly said she could fight. But only if he was their with her! He couldn't lose her again...

Now with a battle plan, Akito sets his sight on getting some weapons and talismans.

Originally, he had the bow KK leant him and some talismans, but when he found himself back in the past, both the bow and talisman disappeared from his person.

He could break into KK's apartment and steal the bow, but that was too risky, so Akito turned to the next best thing. The Nekomatas.

Using his knowledge from the past timeline, Akito quickly manages to gather up some of the relics the Nekomatas once asked for, and with Mari by his side, the siblings went hunting for a Nekomata merchent.

"Oho? You're an odd human~" The Nekomata merchent purrs out as he stared at Akito in interest. Akito just smiles, politely asking to see the Nekomata's goods as he set the relics on the table.

Akito ends up buying two divine bows, one for him and one for Mari, and a bunch of tailsmans. He even bought some katashiros just in case.

"Aki? Can we get these masks?" Mari holds up two masks that had feline like faces carved into them.

"Sure." Akito thought they looked cool, and besides, he and Mari needed something to disguised themselves with. Can't risk either KK or Hannya seeing their faces while they were out hunting!

Mari suddenly makes an odd sound. Akito glances at her in worry. "What's wrong?"

She points behind him, her eyes wide in shock. "B-Behind you."

Thinking there was trouble, Akito whips around, prepared to fight when- "Mmrr?" A tiny, TINY paw pokes at his nose. The tiny, TINY paw belonging to a tiny, TINY Nekomata. Was this a Nekomata kitten?! It was so cute!!!

Behind him Akito hears Mari squeak in delight when more floating kittens started appearing around them, all purring and very curious of the humans.

By the time, the siblings were done shopping, there was purring and cooing Nekomata kittens all over them. The kittens just seemed to adored the siblings, and neither of the humans were complaining in the slightest!

The Nekomata merchent seemed very amused by this. "Not everyday do you see humans covered in Nekomata kittens and enjoying it~"

Sadly though, the Nekomata merchant ends up having to break up the fun and shoos the kittens off. The kittens quickly start whining, saying they wanted to play with the nice 'nii-san and nee-san' more!

"Well, if it's alright with your parents, me and Mari could come back to visit you later on, okay?" Akito suggests as he looks over at the merchent and older Nekomatas for their approval.

The older Nekomata didn't mind thankfully. In fact, they even offered the humans a small job. "Watch the kittens every now and then and we'll give you a special bonus everytime you buy our goods, okay~"

Now that they had weapons now, Akito could move onto the net step. Training Mari to fight visitors. Oh, he wasn't a veteran yokai hunter like KK, but Izukis learn fast, so Akito had no doubt Mari could pick up using the bow fast like he did in Shibuya!

And learn fast she did! The younger girl had no trouble aiming, and barely ever missed! But even so, Akito still stood by decision that Mari could only fight if he was around! He had etheral weaving on his side, she didn't.

Besides training Mari, Akito also trained himself. He no longer had KK in his head to guide him this time, so he had figure out how to weave himself.

It was hard, as he had to be careful with his body. His old wounds, even though they're healed, ached, and if he wasn't too careful, he'd actually start coughing up blood!

He hasn't told Mari about this yet. Hell! He hasn't even been to a doctor yet. Like, how could he? There's no way he could explain to a doctor how he got all these wounds and sound sane!

So instead he goes to the Nekomatas and is taken straight to a healer.

"Hm... You've been through quite a lot, haven't you young one?" The elderly Nekomata healer hums as he looks Akito over, eying all the human's scars. "A normal human would've been dead with half these wounds."

Akito lets out a nervous laugh. "G-Guess I was lucky..." Or had a wraith that healed everything...

After the check up, the elderly Nekomata healer gives Akito some special medicine for him to take. A whole box of it! "Make sure to drink a bottle of medicine everyday, and the pain should go away gradually."

Akito thanks the healer and goes to pay when the elderly Nekomata wave his money away. "Bah! It's on the house! You and your sister have been a delight to us yokai folk, so considered this a gift between friends~"

Another month passes, and Akito knew it was time. They had a few months before Hannya could enact his grand plan in Shibuya, and Akito planned to do everything in his power to stop him!

He had too! For Shibuya, it's citzens, and for... for KK.

TOH Omori Au

I decided to binge the owl house over the week and finished it today and my first act of business was to make an Omori au 😭😭 So as I attempt to get myself active on tumblr yall get to see this silly au

Anyways offering Palisman Mewo first

I plan on making designs for the actual cast and not just the palisman soon, but it's 4 almost 5 am and I'm tired. I've got ideas and brainstorming what characters would do and whatnot.

Also this is a Mari lives au, with the incident being replaced by another event. This will also probably kinda co-exist with TOH canon, slightly.

If anyone wants to ask questions about plans for the au go ahead cuz I don't really plan on being secretive about stuff cuz I might just make this a silly "side" au for me to doodle and brainrot over and post random bits or "lore" and shitposts and more, we'll see

Plural!Sunny and Alive!Mari AU for my personal Omori Angst fulfillment needs (DON'T LIKE THEN DNI):

Sunny:

Full name is Sunny Suzuki.

Their body is Japanese and Filipino American, and also intersex/hermaphrodite with a chromosomal, chemical and gonad variation! He looks mostly like a boy but has VERY androgynous and even somewhat feminine traits in his body!

They were born on July 20th, 1987 to Masayoshi Suzuki and Christine Suzuki (nee Bishop) in their hometown of Faraway Town, Nevada, and are three years younger than Mari, their older sister.

Sunny is definitely a cat person- he loves the texture of Mewo’s fur and will pet him as a stim whenever he’s stressed.

Transneutral nonbinary bigender rosboy who sometimes presents femme and uses primarily he/him but also she/they pronouns and neopronouns. We stan-

Greysexual but also pansexual and nebularomantic.

Both Sunny and Omori do like Basil as a close friend, and both Sunny and Omori have a small crush on Aubrey without being aware that Aubrey feels the same.

Sunny likes steak, steak is a safefood for him: he’s very texture sensitive to food. He does have other favorite foods, but foods such as eggplant, asparagus, sweet potatoes, squash, papaya, black pepper, et cetera, are an instant no-no.

Sunny’s mother has tried to incorporate steak into other foods she makes for him, but in a few cases Sunny doesn’t eat them. Simple salted and grilled steak drizzled lightly with sauce is all he asks for, and it is something he will gladly eat.

He shares many interests with Omori, such as having the same favorite toys, sweets, videogames and comic books (such as Captain Spaceboy).

Sunny is unaware of Omori’s existence until much, much later when he comes back into consciousness again several weeks upon a few months after the recital.

Shy and quiet, he rarely ever smiles.

Sunny’s hair is vantablack, and his eyes are nebulously dark- unlike Mari’s hair, which has a brown-ish tint to it and her eyes are warm and the color of dark chocolate and honey. You could put Sunny in a room where the walls are pure light and his hair would still be pure black.

Sunny and Omori both are big fans of flowers such as the black dahlia, queen of the night tulip, white tulips and white coronations.

When Sunny was younger, he would often zone out and wander off to places, especially particularly fascinating places that caught his attention and interest. Mari and the others had to frequently run after him and drag him back to their intended destination/original location- however, zoning out became dissociative fugues.

When he was younger, he would try and mimic Mari because he looked up to her so much- everything from her speech to her mannerisms and the way she worded certain phrases. This somewhat is like the creation of Omori and his personality in this AU, who was very similar to his sister and his friends in many aspects despite also retaining many personality fragments of Sunny. Yet, Omori is more like Mari, and takes inspiration as well from fragments of the values and demeanors of the Faraway Friends.

Both Sunny and Omori go virtually nonverbal when emotionally distressed, and also when dissociating.

They are autistic and have alexithymia. They pretend to have great memory but actually begin to have terrible memory when he has his first blackout switch an hour before the recital.

Literally has zero self-esteem, someone give this sweetie a hug-

Always loves and cares deeply about his sister and his friends.

He doesn’t have the best relationship with his dad- his mother infantilizes him and his father trivializes his troubles and pain and emotionally neglected him in favor of Mari, the golden child.

He’s traumatized by his parents’s unstable marriage and all the fights they would have, as well as the lake incident and all the pressure they and Mari would put on him to do exceptional at everything they wanted him to do and uphold the family reputation.

Their family is only picture-perfect on the outside- Mari basically had to raise him due to the dysfunctional relationship between their parents. Mari was essentially the Golden Child in her father’s eyes and that also damaged her.

Sunny is very creative and has a capacity for dissociation alongside his rich inner world, which is why he blacked out and switched in his room after he pushes Mari down the stairs and Hero caught her before she could suffer any injuries (save for a little bruise on her legs and the initial shock from falling).

His repetitive childhood trauma may seem minor to others around him, but to him it was utterly damaging and psychologically scarring. He did have several happy memories throughout his childhood, though.

He suffered really bad injuries when he almost drowned in the lake in this AU and has medical trauma from going to the hospital.

His father’s love was conditional in every way- whenever Sunny did fail, he was subjected to harsh emotional and verbal mistreatment, followed by gaslighting and trivializing after said incident, leading Sunny to develop a mixed and turbulent relationship with his father. Sunny would walk on eggshells around his father similar to how his mother did, and every time his father would point out that Sunny was ‘just like his mother’ or ‘just like Mari’, Sunny would grow increasingly uncomfortable.

Of course, Sunny was always in touch with his more feminine side, and being told by kids often to ‘man up’ or to ‘speak up more’ when he was younger didn’t exactly help with such a feeling.

Doesn’t consider home to be exactly a safe place, and is overattached to and emotionally dependent on Mari because of the emotional immaturity of his parents- because of this he’s a huge fan of escapism and has struggled with maladaptive coping and daydreaming since he was a very young child.

He is significantly more timid, volatile and self-destructive than Omori.

Omori:

Unlike in the canon of Omori being a manifestation of Sunny’s guilt, anger, negative emotions and self-hatred/unhealthy escapism, Omori in this AU is also "Sunny", in a way: he's Sunny’s protector, and was created to be a coping mechanism. But they both experience many terrible side effects for the both of them such as blackout, dissociation and large gaps in memory and much more.

Because of this, instead of being a blank slate, Omori is instead a distinct personality visibly different than that of Sunny’s despite them being both technically “the same person”, and despite the similarities they may share in certain traits, habits, likes and dislikes.

Omori is noticeably more outwardly expressive, compassionate, gentle and merciful than Sunny.

Omori was the name engraved on Mari’s piano as well as the piano in Faraway Town’s church- Sunny’s mind, and therefore Sunny himself, had created Omori to be a 'better' version of himself so he could dissociate during upsetting and/or traumatic events and remain functional afterwards, and even if Omori had never made his presence clearly known to Sunny, he knew that Sunny always had a feeling that something protected him during his darkest hours and that he was never alone, which comforted him.

He is also autistic and has alexithymia.

Transneutral genderfloren using all pronouns and he’s grey aroace (rarely feels romantic attraction except towards Aubrey, exclusively asexual).

If Sunny and Omori were made aware of each other’s existence and acknowledged each other officially, they would have an extremely close relationship, brotherly and familial and deep in nature. After all, they do share everything- and by everything, I mean everything, from a body to a heart to a mind to a soul. Everything.

A few minutes before the recital, Sunny blacked out and Omori had taken over with no memory of pushing Mari down the stairs or Hero catching her. He didn’t have any memory of his arguement with Mari or nearly being about to destroy his violin in a fit of rage. As a result, he acted cordially and sweetly towards Mari instead of out of contempt and seething fury, which shocked and utterly confused both Mari and Hero. Why exactly was Sunny acting so different and cheery, and being significantly more emotive than usual?

Omori is more like Mari in terms of personality (kind of like how Sunny would always mimic Mari when he was younger)- he is outwardly more kind, goofy, gentle, polite, and the manifestation of more positive emotions of Sunny (with a more carefree and mischievous side to him, unlike Sunny, who is uptight, paranoid and straightforward). He esembles Mari in terms of personality and demeanor, as well as some of her likes and dislikes. Mari grows incredibly unsettled when she realizes this when Omori switches in for the first time and the Faraway Friends get to know Omori better.

For example, his favorite color is purple, he’s an incredibly forgiving and perceptive person, he loves challenges and riddles, and he is somewhat of a semi-perfectionist (nowhere near as bad as Mari- and yes, Mari has OCD in my AU, pry this from my hands I dare you).

Omori is visibly more different than Sunny in the way that he carries himself- his face muscles relax, his features become more kind, loose and expressive, he becomes more soft-spoken and polite/sweetly sincere in his words, his brows unscrunch, his muscles slacken, and he looks significantly more approachable than Sunny, who’s blunt, vigilant and cliff-faced most of the time.

Even his handwriting and drawing style changes- although they both can draw, Sunny’s drawings are usually more morbid and abstract in nature, while Omori draws whatever he sees/creates in the system’s inner world/headspace- the latter loves to use markers that are purple and turquoise, and just loves pastel and neon colors and palette and draws frequently with them in general. Sunny meanwhile, prefers colors like black, white and red. They both love the colors purple and yellow, however, because those are Mari's favorite colors.

Omori has a very prominent sweet tooth, even more so than Sunny.

Just like Sunny, Omori dearly loves Mari and his friends, and has a complicated and strained relationship with his and Sunny’s father. He sought to keep his existence a secret from the rest of the group until the recital, when he was forced to take control of the body to protect Sunny from harm as he was aware that his other self had self-destructive tendencies.

The purpose of Omori’s creation was to protect and take care of Sunny as well as the body that they shared, and Omori loves and cares about Sunny more than anything. Sunny, being Omori’s first priority first and foremost above all else, was the reason why when the former was having a panic attack an hour or two before the recital, Omori forced Sunny to dissociate and black out, and he forced himself to take control and discarded all plans of keeping his existence a secret to the world: protecting Sunny was paramount to ensure their survival and their continued existence.

Afterwards, Sunny remained blacked out for a long period of time, and Omori was the one interacting with the physical world, including Mari, Hero, and all his friends and the residents of Faraway Town. Everyone was very unsettled by how different “Sunny” was acting, and nobody really knew the truth behind why. The Faraway Friends resolved to try and find out somehow.

Sunny didn’t break the violin in this AU, Mari stopped him and grabbed onto his wrist so tight it sort of bruised it before he could throw the violin down the stairs. This still resulted in an argument, and Hero did catch Mari when Sunny pushed her down the stairs in a fit of anger before she could receive any injuries. The recital went on as usual, so did the pizza dinner afterwards, but it wasn’t Sunny playing at that recital alongside Mari, nor was it Sunny talking to his friends: it was Omori.
