Okay! I don't know where you got the idea from and my best guess is that your brain is connected to mine via bluetooth but.
Me and Hoddie have a royal au and your animation made me think of it again.
Nothing crazy special, but...ah...I should probably give a little context yeah...hmm.
Uh, okay. There's a kingdom. whose king and queen have died, leaving behind several possible heirs who are not their direct children. Right now, the king's first general is sitting on the throne, because the power of the army is, you know, a pretty powerful argument in a fight for the throne, right? This creepy regent is Cass. And Cass came to power thanks to Hoddie, who's basically the king's heir too, but she's pretty distant and her chances of the throne are quite slim. This has made her a professional rat and back stabber. The whole palace is busy weaving intrigue and destroying each other in a competition for power. Contests in cunning and sneakiness. A maximally intellectually uncomfortable environment in general.
Until Hoddie finds the true heiress. The king's blood daughter, to whom the throne should rightfully belong.
Problem? The problem is that the heiress needs to be two years older to be old enough to rule. And Hoddie and Cass' goal is to make sure she lives to that age in an environment where every other person wants to frame or kill her.
That heiress is you, Tap. But we couldn't think of what you'd look like in this au ahaha.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
MHHMMM I SEE ONCE IN A WHILE BRAIN BLUETOOTH IS A GOOD THING you left me a window for my part and I grabbed this opportunity with sharp teeth Since there was no mention of my part, I have the audacity to add my own version. Did I understand correctly that my existence as an heiress was not known? It would be strange if the king was not looking for me, if I was the only heir (by blood), which means they were hoping for a new child, or already had plans for an indirect heir, or wanted to hide me. What other power is there, besides the king and the army, that holds the common people? Church. The king could have sent me to be trained as a priestess in order to gain support from them (either I was not considered worthy of receiving the throne in the future, which is why they preferred to hide me, or the king so badly needed their support that he was ready to sacrifice his only blood daughter) . Thus, from a young age, the beauty of a non-existent world somewhere beyond the heavens was drummed into my head and, in general, “God speaks all our actions.” I have an inconspicuous appearance, a position above a simple servant, but such priests are usually considered to be the daughters of high nobles, but not the king himself, which is why not everyone could know who I really was. Thus, they forgot about my existence ~ After the death of the king and all the heirs, the church quickly realized what to do next, and crushed me to itself, hiding me from the world until I reached the age of succession to the throne. (But children could take the throne under a regent. Could Hoodi become my regent as one of the older contenders for the throne?) So, back to the turmoil. Hoodie found me at church. Since childhood, my worldview could have changed greatly under the influence of the church, so, well, you will have to hammer a lot into my head, in addition to the throne’s education (You know... it's bit complicated to make a human sona not as a stupid little ball XDD... it literally can't get a shape at this point... maybe you will place a real bunny as the new king? It will be eating cabbage 24/7 and everyone will be happy)

merthur love confession but make it river song style!!!
When you love the Doctor, it's like loving the stars themselves. You don't expect a sunset to admire you back! And if I happen to find myself in any danger, let me tell you... the Doctor isn't stupid enough or sentimental enough and he is certainly not in love enough to find himself standing in it with me...
River is Merlin. Merlin is River. Arthur is the Doctor.

Chapter 6
"You want us to stop attacking your villages? And that we go away? You mean us no harm? Hah! You expect me to believe you? You, who killed so many of my brothers! You expect me to believe you!! Never!" barked Elijah.
Arthur looked down, clearly ashamed of what he had done. And the fact that his people had to suffer because of him.  "I'll do whatever it takes. Whatever you say, just leave them be." pleaded Arthur.
"Whatever I say, eh? You will do just as I say? What about your Knights? Will they?" sneered Elijah. Percival and Gwaine's hands tightened on their swords. Whatever Elijah was going to suggest wasn't going to be a pleasant walk in the garden.
"Alright then! Five of my men will fight against you all. All at once but one for one. And the fight will go on until one falls. Not in each pair...oh no! I am not that cruel. Hah! No, no no. One man from all. That's it. That's all I ask." he said.
"How are we to be sure you won't use magic?" questioned Leon. "Not all of my men are sorcerers. See these ten here? They are the sorcerers and they won't be fighting. And if we did use a spell won't you be able to see?" he said and rode away with his men.
"Gaius! All those swords, the ones Elijah's men had. All of them were forged in dragon's breath. It also seemed that they were coated with something." whispered Merlin. "Most probably poison. Of course they aren't going to use magic, their weapons are prepared in such a way that none of them would even survive a gash." said Gaius back in reply.
"I have to do something!" said Merlin.
"You only have until tonight, Merlin. Think of something fast." said Gaius and went off. '
Merlin thought for a minute and then he had his answer. It was the only way and if not...he didn't care. He felt it to be best for all...

gortash shapes and molds people as he sees fit, and lies are certainly a necessary part of that. he does what he always does, what is necessary for the image of the world he’s working towards, which is why he does not ever feel guilt or shame or whatever about it. i do however think that, while it also couldn’t be described as guilt or something, he definitely loathes telling people that he isn’t blood-related to zeke. zeke is his child, or more accurately, newborn in ways that supercede all the imbecilic notions of ‘family’ that lesser beings have. as his magnum opus, zeke comes from the same palms that crush him in this eternal cycle—he is gortash’s flesh & blood/bread & wine in all the ways that matter.

but it's so fucked up. genuinely. so fucked up. what if you had a brother almost exactly the same age as you. maybe not precisely a twin, but close. and there were only two of you, and you were princes, so he was (theoretically) your one and only peer. he was how you learnt to interact with other people, and he was your childhood best friend, and he was the only one who understood your growing responsibilities as you got older, and your political futures were tied together. but the entire time it was subtly but undeniably clear that you were NOT peers or equals. he outranked you. he had authority over you. he could threaten you and you couldn't respond in kind. he could give you orders and expect you to obey. you were beneath him and if you got too far above your station he could remind you of exactly how far. and this was NORMAL. it was so fundamental that you would struggle to even recognise or name what was hurting you, and if you did, you would feel guilty for challenging it, because your rank was not just a fact, it was an obligation, and defiance wasn't just doomed, it was treacherous. and you couldn't imagine any relationship where a dynamic like this didn't exist. you didn't BELIEVE there was any alternative. AND. your brother wasn't trying to be cruel. it was normal to him too. he couldn't imagine an alternative either. he loved you. he was trying to protect you. he was trying not to lose you. so how could you ever really try to escape. if this was all you could imagine love being then it was this or nothing. and was this really worse than him leaving you behind

Imagine if whoever is living with you (don't want to assume anything) invites people over and asks the guests explicitly not to take off their shoes, and when they inevitably ask why you're barefoot but no one else is, they say, "Oh Lana, is required to be barefoot. She's not allowed to have shoes."
"She's not allowed to have shoes" 😱🤯
The premise is a little weird but you won me back at the end, that would def be embarrassing

God Uses Change as a Lowly Servant
Tumblr media
by Aiden Wilson Tozer
Then he said, “Here I am, I have come to do your will.” He sets aside the first to establish the second. — Hebrews 10:9
Yet the change is deeper and more basic than any external acts can reveal, for it includes also the reception of life of another and higher quality. The old man, even at his best, possesses only the life of Adam: the new man has the life of God. And this is more than a mere manner of speaking; it is quite literally true. When God infuses eternal life into the spirit of a man, the man becomes a member of a new and higher order of being. In the working out of His redemptive processes, the unchanging God makes full use of change and through a succession of changes arrives at permanence at last. In the Book of Hebrews this is shown most clearly. "He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second," is a kind of summation of the teaching of that remarkable book. The old covenant, as something provisional, was abolished, and the new and everlasting covenant took its place. The blood of goats and bulls lost its significance when the blood of the Paschal Lamb was shed. The law, the altar, the priesthood—all were temporary and subject to change; now the eternal law of God is engraven forever on the living, sensitive stuff of which the human soul is composed. The ancient sanctuary is no more, but the new sanctuary is eternal in the heavens and there the Son of God has His eternal priesthood. Here we see that God uses change as a lowly servant to bless His redeemed household, but He Himself is outside of the law of mutation and is unaffected by any changes that occur in the universe.
And all things as they change proclaim The Lord eternally the same. — Charles Wesley

June, 2 (Evening) Devotion
“Good Master.”
Matthew 19:16
If the young man in the gospel used this title in speaking to our Lord, how much more fitly may I thus address him! He is indeed my Master in both senses, a ruling Master and a teaching Master. I delight to run upon his errands, and to sit at his feet. I am both his servant and his disciple, and count it my highest honour to own the double character. If he should ask me why I call him “good,” I should have a ready answer. It is true that “there is none good but one, that is, God,” but then he is God, and all the goodness of Deity shines forth in him. In my experience, I have found him good, so good, indeed, that all the good I have has come to me through him. He was good to me when I was dead in sin, for he raised me by his Spirit’s power; he has been good to me in all my needs, trials, struggles, and sorrows. Never could there be a better Master, for his service is freedom, his rule is love: I wish I were one thousandth part as good a servant. When he teaches me as my Rabbi, he is unspeakably good, his doctrine is divine, his manner is condescending, his spirit is gentleness itself. No error mingles with his instruction—pure is the golden truth which he brings forth, and all his teachings lead to goodness, sanctifying as well as edifying the disciple. Angels find him a good Master and delight to pay their homage at his footstool. The ancient saints proved him to be a good Master, and each of them rejoiced to sing, “I am thy servant, O Lord!” My own humble testimony must certainly be to the same effect. I will bear this witness before my friends and neighbours, for possibly they may be led by my testimony to seek my Lord Jesus as their Master. O that they would do so! They would never repent so wise a deed. If they would but take his easy yoke, they would find themselves in so royal a service that they would enlist in it forever.
