And so our story begins….
A long time ago, in the French countryside, there lived a girl named Alya. She lived with her mother and sisters, tending to the farm after her father’s passing. But what Alya spend the most time doing was practicing sword fighting, hand-to-hand combat and acrobatics in the barn. And why did she do this? Because her dream was to go to Paris and be a musketeer, just like her father had been!
Sharing this dream with her was her energetic kitten, Trixx, who would practice alongside her, amusing all the barn animals, especially Kaalki, a wise older mare who had been Alya’s father’s horse during his service.
One day, as Alya practices, her mother comes in to speak with her. They have an agreement that when Alya turns 18, she can go to Paris to pursue her lifelong dream. Though reluctant and worried for her daughter, Marlena gives Alya a letter to bring to Monsieur Fu, the captain of the musketeers, asking him to watch after Alya, and some money to hold her over. And with that, Alya leaves the next morning, with Kaalki and Trixx on the long ride to Paris.
After a few days travel, Alya arrives in Paris. She finds a stable to house Kaalki, and then makes her way to find Monsieur Fu. On the way there, she hears the familiar sound of swords clashing and goes to look. She finds a group of musketeers sparring, and one emerges victorious. He boastfully challenges anyone in the crowd to take him on, and Alya accepts. The musketeers scoff, but are then amazed as she shows off her skills with a sword. Not wanting to be shown up by a girl, one of the men trips her, causing her to land in a puddle.
As the crowd laughs, the lead musketeer tells Alya to leave musketeering to the men, which only serves to infuriate her. He then goes on to say that there’s never even been a girl musketeer anyway!
Hearing this only pisses Alya off even more, because she knows damn well that’s NOT true! There was a female musketeer, many years ago. Her name was Kagami Tsurugi, and it was said by those who still remembered she had existed that she could fight off an entire battalion by herself, and no man could best her at swordplay. But one day…she disappeared, and it almost seemed like the musketeer organization tried to erase her from memory after that…
Back to the present, Alya takes out the letter for Monsieur Fu, determined to prove them all wrong…only for the letter to be stolen by Mael, a dog belonging to Armand Dargencourt, the regent in charge of protecting Prince Nino, his young cousin and their heir to the throne. Alya chases Mael to get the letter back, but is stopped at the gates of the musketeer’s headquarters when he jumps over the fence, just as Armand is exiting the building with Monsieur Fu.
As Armand leaves, he approaches the waiting Alya and asks what business she has there, and she explains her desire to be a musketeer, but he only laughs her off and states that a woman couldn’t possibly be a musketeer. Scowling, Alya demands her letter back from his dog, and he obliges before leaving.
Alya is invited inside by Monsieur Fu, and gives him her letter, explaining that he knew her father. When she expresses her desire to become a musketeer like her father, he tells her that it’s not as simple as merely wanting it and training for it. She must prove herself with noble and courageous acts, and she is simply not ready yet. Nevertheless, he tells her to come to him if she ever needs anything. Disheartened, Alya thanks him and leaves.
While Alya is sitting by herself, lost in her thoughts, Mael appears and begins to chase Trixx, with Alya quickly going after them. She pursues them through a crowd of people, along the way knocking a young woman of Indian descent into a mud puddle and soiling her dress, bumping a cheerful girl with heterochromia into a rose bush, and accidentally pushing a redhead into the fountain she was balancing on, causing her to lose her goggles, apologizing profusely to each as she keeps running. She ends up chasing them through the palace gates and is swiftly pursued by guards. She is about to knock on the door she saw Trixx run through, when a girl suddenly runs out in tears followed by a shout of “YOU’RE FIRED!”. A woman with a sour disposition steps out and spots Alya, stating that she’ll do and pulling her inside.
The woman, Madame Contard, asks what brought Alya to Paris, and when Alya tells her she wants to be a musketeer, she bursts out laughing. She then offers the now vacant position of a castle maid to Alya, who quickly accepts when the guards that were chasing her appear. Alya watches as Madame Contard berates an older maid, Olga Mendeliev (who also helped Trixx evade Mael), knocking away the feather duster she dropped, which Alya then picks up and returns. She’s then brought to the grand courtroom, where she meets her fellow maids…the three girls she knocked into earlier. Their names are Reshma, Ayesha and Lotta. And they are NOT happy with her.
After Madame Contard leaves, Alya apologizes again and asks if there’s anything she can do to make it up to them….and finds herself scrubbing the entire ballroom floor. As she’s working, Trixx is thrown out by the stuffy head of staff, hissing in indignation.
Later that night, Alya bids the three girls goodbye and makes to walk down the dark streets, prompting Reshma to ask if she has anywhere to stay. When she tells them she doesn’t, Ayesha offers to let her stay with them since they have an extra bed, with Reshma agreeing after Trixx gives her kitten eyes. Lotta isn’t really on board, but finds herself outnumbered. Alya tells them she needs to take care of something and will meet up with them later.
A short while after, Alya enters the girls’ apartment, bringing Lotta’s goggles, which she had gone to the fountain to retrieve, causing the girl to begin to warm up to her.
The next day, Prince Nino is testing his new invention, a machine that will allow people to fly! (It’s a hot air balloon, btw.) It works perfectly, and as he’s calling excitedly for his cousin Armand, he accidentally crashes into Alya as she’s cleaning the steps. He apologizes and helps her up, before he quickly rushes to retrieve his machine, which popped on a chandelier. Alya then overhears the prince talking to his cousin about how it’s his dream to fly, and can’t help but smile. However, Armand dismisses this and tells him the future monarch has no time for childish dreams, especially with his 18th birthday in a few days, after which he’ll be crowned king!
As Nino is leaving, the chandelier above the staircase suddenly comes crashing down, heading straight for the prince! Thankfully, Alya is able to leap and pull him out of the way just in time, showing off her impressive acrobatic skills and shattering some projectile glass shards with her broom. The other girls dodge more of the glass shards with some impressive moves of their own! Armand arrives with a few of the guards, ranting about how the prince was almost killed. He turns to his righthand, a man known only as Blade, and demands this doesn’t happen again…
Later, the girls are cleaning up the chandelier wreckage, and chatting amongst themselves. Alya sees something shimmering in the shadows and goes to look, finding a ruby near the rope that suspended the chandelier…which appears to have been cut. When she returns, Lotta asks where Alya learned those kinds of moves, and she tells them of her dream to be a musketeer! To her surprise, they all wish the same thing, and have been training just like her! Alya asks if they all know about Kagami, and they excitedly confirm they do. Lotta has wished for years to find out what happened to her, why she disappeared.
Suddenly, the girls hear a throat clearing behind them, and old Madame Mendeliev instructs them to follow her. She takes them down to a secret passageway, at the end of which lies a training facility for musketeers. Mendeliev explains that this was where Kagami, who grew up in the castle as a daughter of a lady of the court, would sharpen her skills. And that she intends to train them to be proper musketeers, if they will accept, which they eagerly do. She unveils a wall of weapons, from which they each choose one (Alya a sword, Reshma a ribbon whip, Ayesha a pair of fans, and Lotta a slingshot) and challenges them to prove their skill. They each try and fail to disarm her, her speed and skill at her age amazing them. She then explains the great responsibility and honor of being a musketeer, and their training truly begins. After hours, they are all exhausted and she instructs them to come back the next day to train again.
That night, Armand is in his study as Blade apologizes for the mishap with the chandelier, and it turns out Armand called for it, intending for the crash to kill Nino so he could remain in charge. He instructs Blade to sabotage Nino’s test of his flying machine tomorrow and warns his henchman not to fail him again, before leaving.
The next morning, Nino is out running tests on his balloon, writing notes as he checks on the various mechanisms. Unbeknownst to him, Blade has frayed the ropes that hold the balloon down, and when Nino gets in the basket to do a small test flight, the ropes snap and he’s sent into the air, tumbling out and dangling from a rope ladder by his foot! Alya happens to spot him through the window she’s cleaning, and quickly pulls off a graceful rescue, pulling him back into the balloon and steering it away from a spire before it can pop. The prince thanks her for his rescue and they exchange introductions. They fly in the balloon for a short time, Alya marveling at the sight of Paris from the clouds, and they discover they have quite a bit in common, such as their determination to achieve their goals.
Nino brings them back to the ground, figuring out the landing mechanisms as he goes. Alya tells him it feels amazing to fly above the ground, that it makes you feel like any dream could come true, and he asks if there’s anything she dreams of. She reluctantly admits that she wants to be a musketeer, and to her surprise, he doesn’t mock her for it, finding her determination admirable. She even gets to tell him there’s been a female musketeer before, and Nino is fascinated, wondering why more people don’t know about Kagami. It’s then that Alya must leave to return to work, bidding the prince goodbye, blushing as he kisses her hand and tells her he hopes to see her again. Unbeknownst to them, Armand watches from the distance with a scowl.
Alya arrives in the training room, and explains what happened to the other girls and Madame Mendeliev, recalling that, just like with the chandelier, the ropes appeared to have been cut…They come to the conclusion that someone may be trying to kill the prince! Madame Mendeliev instructs them to keep quiet but keep their eyes open until they have proof.
The girls promise to do so, and Lotta gets lost in thought staring at the painting of Kagami on the wall. It’s then that Madame Mendeliev decides to tell them what really happened to the first female musketeer. She didn’t disappear…she was killed. The captain of the musketeers at that time, Emani Pulateur, had been unable to handle a woman being superior to him and his men in skill, and had gathered his most trusted associates to… take care of Kagami. (She also may or may not have been trying to help his fiancée get out of their abusive and controlling relationship.)
The next morning, Trixx visits Kaalki in the stables and tells her how Alya rescued the prince, and of their training with Madame Mendeliev. He’s saddened that he can’t train with them because Madame Contard will throw him out, but Mael arrives and mocks the kitten that once his master is king, he’ll have cats banished from Paris. Trixx sasses him, and Mael makes to lunge at him, only to be intimidated into backing down by Kaalki. The old horse tells Trixx of a secret passage to get into the castle and train with the girls.
The girls continue their training every day, growing more and more skilled as time goes on. They even work training into their maid duties! Eventually, Alya is able to disarm Madame Mendeliev, and the girls decide to celebrate by going into town. However, they happen to stumble onto a meeting between Blade and some shady individuals. Alya recognizes the gems in the hilt of Blade’s dagger to be the same as the one near the chandelier rope. Continuing to watch, they see that the swords for the Blade Dance at the prince’s birthday masquerade ball in a few days, which are supposed to be made of paper and confetti, have REAL blades! Horrified, they race to warn Nino that the regent’s men are planning to kill him!
Back at the palace, Monsieur Fu is explaining the security measures for the ball to Armand, who explains he won’t be in attendance, when the girls arrive in a panic. Madame Contard tried to stop them, but they make it past her. They try to explain to Fu about the swords and the plot against the prince, but Armand dismissed them as delusional. It’s then the crates with the swords for the dance arrive, and Alya insists there are real weapons in them. But…there aren’t. They’re the fake paper swords, and the girls look foolish. Monsieur Fu tells them that they can’t act without proof, and the girls are escorted from the palace, with Madame Contard firing them for good measure.
The girls are severely disheartened, but Alya encourages them that they have to do something! They’re the only ones who know about the plot and they know every inch of the castle. After some trepidation, Reshma, Ayesha and Lotta agree, and they begin to devise a plan. Reshma will make them all costumes, and Lotta and Ayesha will make them new weapons that can be concealed in them. They’ll foil the plot and save the prince, and they need to start preparing! The night of the ball quickly arrives, and the girls don their gowns, and prepare to save the day!
That evening, Nino bids the supposedly departing Armand goodbye before leaving to prepare for the ball, as the regent prepares to put his plan into action. He dons a disguise and sneaks back into the castle, just as the girls are arriving at the ball. The regent and his men procure their weapons and prepare to launch their attack.
The girls enter the ball and dazzle everyone with their dresses, and Alya is spotted by Nino after his arrival, who recognizes her immediately and asks her to join him for the sword dance. She accepts and the two partake in the sword dance, with Alya telling Nino what she learned about Kagami’s supposed disappearance.
Outside the ballroom, Monsieur Fu and his men are knocked out by Armand’s henchmen, and the regent joins the sword dance, still in disguise. As they are dancing, all of the girls spot the real swords and know the attack will soon be launched. Armand gives a signal to Blade, and the fireworks show begins as a distraction. Armand draws his sword while everyone’s back is turned and prepares to attack Nino, but Alya leaps to counter him just in time. She takes Armand’s sword, which he accuses of being hers. The girls engage in a battle with the regent’s men, using their new weapons, while the regent spirits the prince away. Trixx even engages in a battle with Mael, using all his new training.
When the prince is in the secret tunnels, Armand unmasks himself and explains that he returned to the castle as soon as heard there was trouble, and tells Nino that he is ‘bringing him to safety’. Back in the ballroom, Alya sees that the prince is gone and spots Armand’s mask by the entrance to the passageway, the girls quickly racing to catch up to them.
As they are riding in a lift to the highest level of the castle, Nino realizes the holes in Armand’s story, and the regent attacks the prince, who gets out of the lift just in time, pursued by Armand. The girls stumble across Fu and his men, and Alya continues looking for the prince while the others untie them. Fu and the musketeers arrest the regent’s men while Alya spots Armand pursuing Nino to the roof of the palace. Just before he can push Nino from the roof, Alya intervenes, swinging over and crossing swords with Armand. An intense battle of swords ensues, and Alya is disarmed. Armand plans to frame her as the one who killed the prince, who he would have been ‘too late to save’, and goes to impale her, but Nino tosses Alya her sword just in time! Alya quickly disarms Armand and Monsieur Fu arrives just in time to arrest him.
The prince thanks the girls for his rescue, immediately calls for Alya, Reshma, Ayesha and Lotta to be named musketeers, and they name their new battalion in honor of Kagami, who is now known to the public with a proper memorial in the musketeer headquarters thanks to Nino (who also asks Alya on a date, which she gladly accepts!) And from that day forward, any girl who wanted to could be a musketeer!
And they all lived happily ever after!
Strong hearts, strong minds, fighting for what’s right every time! Leave your thoughts in the comments and reblogs! Hope you enjoyed this surprise!

Hunger Changes a Man
Read on AO3!
A/N: Based on a prompt from @brokentimewatch, Vampire Noir attacks JJ while in hunting mode and doesn't realise how much he's drank until JJ is passed out.
Warnings: Just biting and blood drinking.
He knew it had been a while since he’d last fed. He knew he should have hidden out in the forest on the edge of the yard, had his meal, then returned home.
Instead, he had stayed inside and waited for his husband to return home.
Noir crouched at the foot of the stairs, vision blurred as he relied on his sense of smell to build the area around him. The house reeked of Jameson’s scent: blueberries and ink. He had untied his tie and rolled his sleeves up, top buttons undone as he waited for Jameson to open the door. Hands holding so tightly to the stair banister that his knuckles turned white, his lip curled in a snarl as the blueberry-ink smell grew stronger, signalling Jameson was arriving.
When the door opened, evening light making his shadow stretch across the entryway floor, Jameson looked around, looking for his husband as he tapped the toe of his shoe against the floorboards to signal his presence.
Setting his bag down, Jameson removed his coat, hanging it on the coat rack and gently placing his hat on top, ruffling his hair as he closed the front door. He dropped his keys in the dish by the door, frowning when Noir didn’t come down the stairs to greet him. Shrugging while pressing his lips into a tight line, JJ adjusted his waistcoat and headed for the kitchen, figuring out what to make for dinner.
His eyes widened as a silent scream escaped his lips when hands grasped his waist and chin, tilting his head to the side as sharp fangs punctured his artery. Jameson’s fear gave way to calm and slight annoyance when he realised it was just Noir behind him, feeding from him in a way he had grown used to. With a soft smile, he began to tap on Noir’s hands, a simple statement.
Good evening, dear. I assume you haven’t eaten.
At first, Noir’s feeding was comforting, a familiar gesture the vampire shared since being turned, and JJ melted into Noir’s touch, twitching when his hand tightened on his chin, almost bruising as it yanked his head further, and JJ tapped a warning onto Noir’s hand at his waist, lips pulling down when Noir continued to feed.
His vision began to dim, head going light, and Jameson’s heart began to beat faster when he realised this was not the Noir he had married. This Noir was hungry, feeding from JJ like he was a simple civilian meal, not the man he had fallen in love with. JJ’s hand tightened around Noir’s wrist, trying weakly to loosen his hold, and he felt his legs grow weak as he started to sway.
Noir swallowed gulp after gulp of blood, primal instinct to feed overriding his human side’s closeness to Jameson, moving him like an object to push his fangs deeper, allowing more blood to flow into his mouth. When Jameson slumped in his arms, Noir lifted him onto the kitchen table, removing his teeth to sit Jameson on the counter before returning to his meal, keeping JJ upright while taking his fill.
When he had finished, Noir pulled his teeth out, licking at JJ’s neck to clean the wound before taking several deep breaths and closing his eyes, clearing his head then opening them. His cloudy red eyes had cleared, vision sharp now he’d filled up on blood, and he removed his hand from JJ’s waist, wincing as he knew there’d be a bruise later.
He tilted his head when JJ simply slumped forward, head still held up by Noir’s gentle hold on his chin. His eyes were closed, skin sallow and sweaty, and he almost fell off the kitchen counter when Noir released his hold, forcing him to wrap his arms around JJ to stop him from hitting his head.
“Oh, love…” Noir breathed, pushing JJ’s hair back from his forehead and pressing a soft kiss to the skin there, “I’m so sorry, my dear…”
Carefully, as though Jameson could break, Noir hoisted him up and carried him up the stairs, setting him gently on their bed and pulling the blankets over him. He sped downstairs, returning to JJ’s side with a glass of water, then flitted to the bathroom to dampen a face towel, gently dabbing it against Jameson’s forehead before grabbing the first aid kit from under the bed. He dressed JJ’s bite, gently rubbing a thumb over the bandage, then stayed crouched by the bed, watching his husband with a mixture of guilt and concern, holding the hand that had fallen from under the blanket.

Continuing on the tradition of the previous two posts, what do you think are the theater kids and recess class (minus the Austins) worst experiences with Ms. Marinette?
Lotta Jameson:
This girl actually greased the hand rail of the stairs when she saw Lotta talking to Adrien and laughing. After sliding down the rail, Lotta fell face first into the floor and had to get fillings
Keeps promising to fix her goggles, then flakes out at the last second because of more “important matters”
Kendra Anne Gunderson
Didn’t appreciate Kendra’s trademark snarkiness, and started badmouthing her to others
This resulted in Kendra getting kicked out of a club she was a part of due to the badmouthing delving into rumor territory
DJ Detweiler
Marinette exposed several of his harmless pranks, getting him in trouble multiple times with the teachers. He hasn’t forgiven her since
To get back at her for a prank she still holds a grudge against, Marinette laced some cupcakes DJ made for a bake sale with itching powder, getting her in trouble
Austin Spinelli
Once she heard his name was Austin, that was enough for her to start antagonizing Spinelli, and she refused to refer to him by his surname
While Spinelli was in the art classroom working on another chalk piece, the dust kept getting on an outfit she was designing. So, when everyone left, Marinette poured water on the chalkboard, ruining Spinelli’s work
Gia Griswald
Constantly critiques her love of camouflage-print clothing and keeps trying to get her to wear more bright colors
If the girl wants to wear camo, let her wear camo! Shut the fuck up
Victoria LaSalle
Whenever Victoria is unintentionally blocking her way, she just pushes their wheelchair out of the way without even politely asking them to move. (Just don’t touch another person’s wheelchair, alright?)
Acts like this perfect advocate and suggests Victoria should find a wheelchair basketball team to play on rather than DuPont’s, and it pisses Victoria off
Gerard Gunderson
Makes a big deal about his prosthetic leg and keeps trying to get him to model for her inclusive line
His tooth gap often causes him to slightly whistle, and then one day, Marinette got annoyed by it and caused a whole scene, making him embarrassed
Mindy Blumberg
Has implied several times that Mindy should quit singing and join the school wrestling team due to her “physique.” The girl wants to sing! Let her sing!
In reality, Marinette couldn’t stand when Mindy was chosen to sing in accompaniment to Adrien’s piano playing during a school function
Rochelle Weems
When she heard that Rochelle often spills secrets about people, she decides to get revenge and spill some of Rochell’s secrets…
… And that caused Zir to run home crying, and skip school for a week
Mason Ewing
Keeps trying to push him out of his comfort zone despite his obvious discomfort. It’s led to panic attacks on two occasions
Calls her creepy for keeping her classmates’ info logged in a binder. Pot. Meet kettle.

Earth X #10
If it were Roman numerals that’d be Earth X X but one of the sequel series does have an issue numbered X. Weird series, Earth X.
Aaron, John Jameson the astronaut werewolf, and the Celestials get the cover this time.
Astronaut werewolf. I love Marvel. So goofy.
So: Earth X. Bad Future. Blind Uatu. Machine Man Aaron Stack is the new Watcher. Turned against Uatu when he learned the Earth is an egg. The Celestials have manipulated humanity from the beginning to guard the egg. The Skull has killed President Osborn and taken over New New York. Captain America travels the world and recruits allies. Reed has discovered that the mass empowering event was caused by the Inhuman’s terrigen mist. Aaron has revealed the egg secret to him.
Earth X. There’s just so much going on. This is a very dense narrative.
Left behind on the Moon, Uatu immediately starts on manipulating John into being his weapon against Aaron.
He offers the same lie he did to Aaron, that humanity has a glorious cosmic purpose. And that Aaron is trying to stop it so John has to stop him. With the Ultimate Nullifier.
Captain America’s world tour continues to Wakanda.
Tumblr media
T’Challa refuses to join Steve’s army. This is something Steve has to do himself because it’s about America or something.
I think T’Challa just doesn’t want to get involved.
He also refuses to return a Cosmic Cube Steve left with him because Past Steve said not to give it back no matter how dire Future Steve said the circumstances were.
You only have you to blame, Steve.
But at least Russia, Japan, Canada, Antarctica, and England lent their aid.
Reed goes to Latveria, to meet back up with the Inhumans and tell them about his recent discoveries. He learns that it was Black Bolt who set off the Terrigen Bomb.
He kind of underreacts to this, considering guilt from the mass empowering event has been driving him crazy for years. But he does ask Black Bolt a favor. That we don’t get to hear. And Medusa convinces Black Bolt to do it. And then takes off his mask and reacts to his face. Which we don’t get to see.
There’s a lot of new little mysteries popping up. Hopefully they won’t be drawn out.
Reed and Aaron take off to find Loki, to take Hulk off his hands to add to Captain America’s army.
Reed doesn’t think Loki will help them but Aaron says Loki will help them when he tells Loki why he’d never help them.
Lotta little mysteries in this scene…
In New New York, the Skull loses control of the Wizard and has him killed.
It’s apparently because the Wizard went insane. And the Skull’s powers don’t work on robots, the mindless, or the insane.
The Skull orders nobody else to go insane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
For some damn reason, there’s a ship tease between Spiders-Man and Iron Maiden.
The Skull tells them to, basically, get a room and Iron Maiden blows up. Calls him a brat and that she’d rather be insane than he controlled by him.
Tumblr media
Like many brats, he doesn’t like being called a brat.
Right in the middle of his tantrum, Captain America arrives with his army and starts beating up the Skull’s forces.
Because the Skull isn’t letting them fight back. Because he’s in a snit. He only agrees to do something to save his helpless mind-slaves when Iron Maiden begs.
And then Cap’s attack immediately fails. Because the Skull can just control anyone he chooses. Minus robots, the mindless, and the insane.
The Hulk was Cap’s secret weapon because the gorilla Hulk is mindless. But the Skull takes Bruce and that gets him Hulk.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cap despairs that he failed to stop the Skull and has basically handed him the world.
Your plan was bad and you should feel bad, Steve. All those issues of off-panel planning, that recruitment tour… and the best you could do was a frontal assault against the mind control guy?
I’m sorry to say but maybe the brat is right to say you should have an L on your forehead for Loser. Or maybe for Luigi. Maybe the Skull likes Mario Bros.
It’s not all a loss. Mostly one. 99% of one. But seeing the Skull smooching on a controlled May gives Peter the fatherly concern to not walk away sadly. And during the fight, a controlled Wyatt confides to Cap what the Skull’s limitations are. Also, Colossus finds Namor dying of not being properly hydrated and tosses him into the ocean.
But since it’s taken up so many issues, Cap confronting the Skull take two feels a bit like padding.
Aaron returns to the Moon with Reed in tow.
Reed has solved on more mystery with the power of being Reed Richards. And it’s relevant to Uatu’s interests.
The first mystery Earth X presented us with.
Who blinded the Watcher?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was Black Bolt.
He knows his way around the Moon. His voice of mass destruction means he’s the quietest dude, quiet enough to sneak up even on a Watcher. And considering Uatu was blinded a bit before the Terrigen bomb, hence not knowing about it, it gives Black Bolt a motive.
And now, he’s flying out to confront the Celestials even though he knows he won’t survive the experience.
Three issues left. The Skull is still at large with an army in the thousands. The Celestials are chilling above the Moon. Black Bolt is flying out to do whatever Reed asked him to do.
What else can possibly happen in those last three issues?
Probably a lot. I bet Earth X has more weird twists up its sleeves.

Thess vs IMDB Again
While doing my baking (and baking prep), I watched Ghostbusters: Afterlife, which they're taking off Netflix in a couple of weeks' time. Currently playing "I Know That Voice", because I do that. (Also I miss Harold Ramis, and that is probably the only good way to use CGI to recreate a person, because a ghost is going to look a little uncanny anyway.)
Best one was looking up Ivo Shandor - JK Simmons. Now, I'm not great with names, but yeah, a whoooooooole lotta J Jonah Jameson. However. That wasn't entirely why he was familiar, because I seldom watch ... well, much of anything, and I knew him by voice. So TIL that the voice and face of J Jonah Jameson ... also voiced Ketheric Thorm, and this amuses me no end, and that is why I play the "I Know That Voice" game.
Finn Wolfhard, obviously. Everybody from the original Ghostbusters cast ... well, duh; I'm old enough to actually remember seeing the original at the cinema, if not by much. Didn't realise Ernie Hudson was in The Crow, though I probably should have - I knew that detective guy was familiar. But IMDB didn't exist back then. (Also did VA work in Star Wars: The Bad Batch and a fair bit else, both VA and screen acting, so good on him.) Mckenna Grace I also thought was familiar, and yep - she seems to have so far been making a career of playing younger versions of main characters - young Carol Danvers in Captain Marvel, young Emma Swan in Once Upon a Time, young Theo in The Haunting of Hill House. Carrie Coon ... I had to look up who the fuck Proxima Midnight was since I kind of tuned out a lot of the MCU stuff, but those of you who watched stuff like Infinity War and Endgame in more than fanvids will probably appreciate the range better than I do (though with that amount of makeup and prosthetics, and the little I remember seeing of her in body language, I appreciate it a LOT). And Paul Rudd, and without looking, I wanna saaaaaaaaaay ... Ant-Man? Yeah, and Night at the Museum, and a whole bunch of the kind of comedy stuff I'm not terribly into. ...Huh. Looked into who voiced the Muncher, and that's Olaf from Frozen (Josh Gad). I mean, I've never actually seen any of the Frozen movies, but I don't think you can be online without having heard him at least once.
Again, this is why I play the "I Know That Voice" game.

I know there's no like 'evidence' behind the idea but it honestly makes a lot of sense for JJ to be mute bc 1. The silent movie stuff, when they didn't have the ability to record sound, that his first power hour is based off and 2. The whole puppet thing, like you don't give puppets the ability to speak, typically in marionette style it's all narration not the characters speaking (besides the odd sound effect like tree branches or goats yodeling, etc).
I've always thought of him having some kinda disability like that where he has to use sign to communicate (so like mute or deaf or something there's plenty I don't know) but that may just be my own disabled ass projecting and like wanting some kinda connection or some shit. Also I'm drunk ish so sorry if this doesn't make a whole lotta sense. But you keep doin you, you're great and I love you!
thank you!! and Jack has stated that Jameson is mute/has mutism and doesn't talk on more than one occasion so it's quite canon :) plus Jameson uses British Sign Language in his second video so hell yeah let's embrace the fuck out of that!!!!!! and it does make sense all on its own too!!! it's not just you projecting, he definitely has a canon disability and uses sign language. although it would be okay if you were just projecting too haha, that's what characters are for! LONG LIVE OUR SILENT KING

whump intro!
so my blog isn’t exactly new but considering i’ve been lurking and semi-interacting with the whump community but haven’t actually made an intro, i thought i’d finally do that!
so, the basics: i go by a few names, nami’s the one i’ve chosen to mainly use on here but joy and river work too. any pronouns are fine with me as long as they aren’t it/its, feel free to switch it up if you’d like (and i’m questioning if i’m nb/agender so pls do switch it up!). this is a sideblog so i follow and like from deviantjoy.
and now the good stuff!
i like just about all whump but i get the most whumperflies from begging, forced submission (whether it’s the whumper forcing the whumpee or the whumpee forcing themselves, and that can extend to extremes like noncon), restraints, and just overall helplessness. excessive gore, intimate/creepy whumpers, sickfics, and lady whump aren’t really my thing. my favorite not-whump tropes are found family and enemies to friends (to lovers) and my favorite whumpees are male tough-softie types.
i don’t really write things with ocs so my blog is centered around fangirling and fanfiction, plus a little bit of random life stuff mixed in. you can find my fics and how i tag things in my masterlist and i tag anything that i think might be triggering or otherwise upsetting with “#cw [x]”. my current main fandom and the fandom i’ve written the most for as of rn is avatar the last airbender bc zuko is such a good whumpee and so easy for me to project onto it’s great lmao (i mean literally you can imagine a genderbent zuko and that’d just about be me, i don’t have a scar but i do have a birthmark by my left ear if that counts) and you can find the rest of my fandoms also in my masterlist. i primarily write hurt/comfort, angst, and, obviously, whump, so generally i gotta lotta problems i project onto fictional characters.
some whump blogs i like (which, in this case, means “lurk on and occasionally like a post of or send an ask to”):
@shameless-whumper was the first whump blog i followed and honestly probably the reason why i stayed in the community
@deluxewhump’s cam and zee have such an interesting dynamic i’m strangely here for (and i know i said i don’t like lady whump but i gotta admit amber and belle are a guilty pleasure of mine)
@ashintheairlikesnow’s story for danny was so good i vaguely remember binge-reading it for a few days and now after jake was stabbed i live for jameson too
@friendlylocalwhumper wrote lux so heartbreakingly well that he’s the sole exception to my aversion to nonhuman whumpees
@skunkandgrenade’s whump tips are super helpful and i actually have a few of them reblogged in my drafts for future reference
@whumpwillow’s whump trope lists drew me in but their hazeshift series kept me there after i read all of it that’s been posted so far in like one sitting lmao
and that’s about it! i’m hoping to get a lil more involved in the community and maybe even make a few friends, so pls interact if you’d like to! i’ve got a list of ongoing ask games in my masterlist and asks are always open for anything!

What are you egos favorite games :] (viddy games, card games, ttrpgs, any games)
YES...... GAME.....................
marvin: marvin's favorite genre of game is Niche Rpg Horror Game from the Late 2000s. OFF and yume nikki are their favorites probably. i want to say they'd like card games because Haha Magician but i think if you played a card game with them they'd lose and their ego would simply never recover
henrik: henrik doesn't play video games very often but marv n chase have probably forced him to play a few with them. i think he'd enjoy animal crossing and stardew valley a lot.......... aside from bideo games though you know he loves him some operation
anti: i think i brought this up before Somewhere but anti's favorite game ever is five nights at freddy's sister location. he's a big fan of horror games and an even bigger fan of Fucked Up Clown Robot Who Steals People's Skin. he also really likes ddlc probably
chase: chase likes a lotta different games so it's hard to pin down what his Favorite would be but i'd imagine he's a big fan of like. games like Minecraft and gmod. where he can just do whatever. also probably enjoys multiplayer fps games like tf2 and overwatch
jackie: i think jackie's favorite game would probably be Undertale. he strikes me as an undertale guy. really likes story-based games where he can befriend all the characters. i don't think his man has ever done a genocide run
jameson: jj has never played a video game in his Life. he probably likes shitty board games though.......... marvin and henrik are the only ones who will play them with him </3

The Man in the Spoon
Pairing: Peter Parker x Michelle Jones (Spideychelle) Rating: E Word Count: 1683
This is a submission for Thotumn, organized by @spideysmjs!!! Today’s prompt: Early Morning.
Summary: Peter keeps waking up as the little spoon.
“How does this happen?” Peter wonders, his first words of the day only slightly less formless than a hum. “I’m always the big spoon when I fall asleep.”
MJ laughs softly from behind him and continues kissing languidly across his shoulder. Their cheap curtains suck—too sheer for the slice of sunlight that greets them every morning, hot and golden as a cheesy piece of pizza—and she’s woken him up outlining the rhomboid of light with her lips. She kisses again where his skin is bright orange and he presses back against her mouth. Funny how he can sound like he’s complaining with the way he loves her sleepy shows of affection.
“It’s because I curl around you in my sleep. I have an instinctual desire to protect you, Puppy.”
She can get away with the nickname this early.
“Really?” He sighs happily as she makes her way to his neck.
“No. It happens because you sleep really deeply after coming home from a mission and it’s easy to crawl over you so I can do this…”
The hand MJ was resting lightly on his hip slips down, easing the elastic waist of his boxers away from his abdomen and reaching in to stroke him where he’s predictably hot with sleep and half-hard with whatever position he dreamed her into last night. Peter groans, rough and delicious, the sound like an aural spiral of shaved chocolate. As if she wasn’t already wet from the anticipation. It pleases her to please him.
“Did you do good?” she asks so softly into his ear.
“Home in one piece,” he breathes, totally relaxed against her as he trusts her to do what she likes.
“I’m so proud of you.”
MJ returns to kissing his neck, occasionally catching his skin between her teeth and giving a short tug, just to hear him suck in air. She cups the head of his dick. Feeling the wetness against her palm, she rubs in an unhurried circling motion, smearing him with his own arousal before taking him in her fist again and spreading it down his length. He makes a guttural noise, throat going taut under her lips.
“How come you’re not this sweet all the time, huh?” Peter asks, bucking his hips shallowly into her grip.
“I do the laundry when you leave your regular clothes all over the place in your rush to scamper out of here to be Spider-Man, don’t I?”
“Yeah.”
She leans up on her elbow to watch his face; his lips are parted, his cheeks flushed. Eyes: closed.
“Well, isn’t that sweet?” But MJ goes on before her husband, with his bliss-scrambled brain, can reply. “I don’t watch ahead on any of our favourite shows without you. I’ve improved my aim enough to throw at least three out of five darts right into the forehead of the picture of Jameson we keep on the back of the bathroom door. Those are sweet gestures.”
Peter chuckles airily at that, then moans. He taps the shoulder he’s lying on and she sneaks her hand through in the sweaty crook between his neck and the pillow, tangling their fingers together.
“Nobody asked you to do that,” he reminds her.
“But I take pleasure in it,” she says casually into the underside of his jaw. “Speaking of. The things I do for you when you get home safe and I’m still up… Sweet, right?” MJ twists her wrists and pumps faster.
“Not sweet,” Peter gasps. “Those things are not sweet, and a lotta them are more like things you do to me.”
“I don’t remember hearing this pickiness when I was blowing you last Wednesday.”
“I was barely through the window! I still had the suit around my ankles.”
He makes a needy noise and she shakes their locked hands apart to run hers down his opposite arm, finding where he has a firm grip on their fitted sheet. She relocates that hold to the back of her head, helping him tumble into the memory by letting him dig his fingers into her hair and tug like he did that night.
“I was glad to see you.”
“You let me come—” He chokes. “—come down your throat.”
“I was very glad to see you.”
“God, yes,” Peter mutters, rocking through her fingers. “God, MJ, yes.”
“See, that’s more the kind of thing I remember hearing.”
He breaks every hold but the one he has on her heart when he flips over and pins her. Though the movement is rapid, it’s unaggressive; his posture melts down like he can seep into her skin. With he way he’s crazy about her, that might be exactly what Peter believes. MJ shuffles her legs apart under his weight, grateful when he rests naturally between her thighs, grateful that he’s home. They don’t need to acknowledge her nudity. His boxers are an issue though.
“You gonna take these off?” she wonders between slow, seeking kisses, snapping at the band.
“I guess it’s looking like I probably should.”
“Unless you don’t feel like being involved. I could just…” MJ grazes her hand down. Her knuckles bump against his erection as she draws uneven rings around her clit. She doesn’t touch it yet, but he doesn’t need to know that: she moans his name for effect.
Immediately, he’s kicking and fumbling his way out of his boxers, tearing the sheet off them both in the doing, and allowing the sun to stripe their skin in more generous swaths.
But when he goes in, he’s slow. Their foreheads meet. She shakes as he smoothly angles her hips with his hand. Delicately, she scratches up the back of his head. This small relief is a familiar secret between them; no one else would guess that Spider-Man’s scalp tingles when his mask’s been pressing his hair down a certain way for too long. With fleeting brushes, Peter starts in on what he considers the only proper process for kissing her in the morning. MJ’s patient with him. She got the spooning, the neck kisses, the grope down the front of his shorts. She got him home, alive. He can do what he likes.
Light glints off his ring. He doesn’t always remember to slip it back on when he drags himself home from patrol, but when he does, she appreciates it. Pictures him patting at the surface of the dresser in the dark, looking down at her, asleep in their bed, and feeling so connected, even more when he wears the ring she was the first to put on him. No matter how many times he takes it off when he leaves in the suit—because he’s afraid of losing it, because he’s terrified of soiling it with blood on the nights he punches through glass or brick or flesh until his knuckles tear or his fingers break or he cuts up the back of his hand in an unintentional pattern of ragged spiderwebs—she smiles to see he’s put it back on.
MJ turns her head to kiss his hand, undamaged, running her lips over the ring as well. There’s an adoring whine that comes out of him like it’s been thickening in his chest, ready for the inevitable moment when he’d need to use it. She doesn’t just call him ‘Puppy’ because it begins with the same letter as his name.
While he’s making this sound, the sound she associates with unconditional love, he thrusts tranquilly. The work he does on her is unlike what he does in the city at night. There are no closing windows of opportunity with them as MJ massages the back of his neck between her fingers and thumb, kneading out towards his shoulder. He doesn’t need to dart from place to place. Apart from sleeping, this is the longest he might spend in one spot all day. Her husband hefts her hips a little higher and her chest heaves. She tightens her stomach to grind her clit against him.
“Feel good today?” he asks.
“It’s you,” she says, tingling and open. There is no time in their past or future, MJ’s sure, when he won’t feel good inside her.
“You feel unbelievable.”
Though, for an unbelievable feeling, Peter has a lot to say about it when he kisses her cheek and murmurs admiration into her ear. He keeps his tone soft, his voice level as the kick of his hips produces short, stern strokes that have her shaking. Letting the arm holding him up buckle at the elbow, he lowers himself onto her. No more space. He clutches her hip and grinds against her clit, never quite catching his breath with his face tucking into her neck. His humid panting and the heat of his body, the warm place in the blankets where they’ve been sleeping, it’s all too hot to bear. Still, MJ gasps, “More,” and his arm winds beneath her to grab at her back. She lets her own arms flop limply onto the sheet until he’s thrusting so fast that she throws them around his waist, howling his name to the ceiling and the sun.
Through her orgasm, she can hear and feel how he’s barely hanging on, body tense and groans curling towards sobs. She loves him so.
“Let’s see it, Big Spoon,” MJ taunts playfully, hair snarled across the pillow and heart still pounding.
Peter snorts a laugh before climaxing in jerky jolts that clap her between a pair of cymbals, the sensation of his final thrusts rippling through her. Pulling him close, she kisses at his slack mouth. Gradually, he relearns how to kiss her back, and his hand slides up to cradle her head. He holds on a moment too long—he always does—and they separate with greedy inhalations.
“I slept really well last night,” Peter huffs, “with you curled around me.”
“And how were your dreams?”
He trails his thumb along the curve of her cheek and MJ flattens his hand against her face to keep him there. She tips her chin up in inquiry. Peter smiles.
“Sweet.”

Batraculous East➡️
Austin A (Glam Bat): Austin A sticks to the daytime crimes, but mostly joins his squad in tackling the crimes happening at night. His hairspray is amazing at keeping his hair in place, and it's strong enough to make criminals freeze in place. His Pink Bat suit allows for excellent mobility due to its lightweight, and he has tons of hair-care-inspired weapons in his belt
Austin B (Bat Byte): Austin B prefers to stick behind the scenes when it comes to stopping crime due to some breathing problems, and often sends his avatar to assist his teammates while he takes care of things at the Bat Cave. Bat Byte, controlled by Austin B via tech goggles and wearable sensors, is capable of teleporting, hacking into any database, and sending electric shockwaves
Austin Q (Shark Bat): Austin Q handles aqua crimes, such as bastards dumping oil into the water. His sharp teeth always send people running. His Shark Bat suit allows him to breathe underwater, and it can withstand the pressures of the sea
Austin T (Bake Bat): Austin T also handles daytime crimes, usually domestic disturbances, and he's not entirely gentle when apprehending abusive partners and parents. The scents of fresh-baked pastries he releases from his suit help to calm victims down, and that function comes in handy when someone's having a panic attack
Lotta Jameson (Stunt Bat): Lotta's entire suit comes with shock absorption technology, so she can get hit as many times as she'd like without issue. She'll handle any sort of crime you throw her way, no matter how dangerous
Kendra Anne Gundersun (Upside Down Bat): A nighttime hero who handles stealth missions. She's extremely flexible, and her suit is made to contort with her. It comes with an invisibility function, along with one that allows her to scale walls (Though, she prefers ceilings)
DJ Detwiler (Prank Bat): DJ's suit is made to fit her love of pranks. It comes with an invisibility function, a voice changer in the mask, x-ray goggles, and more. His Prank Bat suit is made to blend into the night, which is when a lot of crime happens and makes for the perfect opportunity to test out a few of his best pranks on criminals
Austin Spinelli (Grace Bat): Spinelli's Grace Bat suit is inspired by male ballet outfits, lightweight and breathable, but it still offers plenty of protection. The ribbons tied around his arms act as grappling hooks or binds for when he's apprehending criminals
Gia Griswald (G.I. Bat): Gia focuses on defense when out in the field, but once she's up against a criminal, she puts her training to use and takes down someone twice her size in under a minute. Her suit with shock-absorption and bullet-proof fabric
Victoria LaSalle (Hoop Bat): Do not underestimate the wheelchair, Victoria as Hoop Bat will still take you down. His bat suit, lovingly created by his boyfriend, Gerard, is capable of creating plasma orbs, which she throws like they're basketballs, and with excellent precision. They can electrocute anyone they hit and momentarily incapacitate them
Gerard Grundler (Genius Bat): As the name implies, he is a genius. Like Austin B, he also works behind the scenes and sends his avatar, Genius Bat, to fight in his place from time to time, but mostly goes out on the field. His suit comes equipped with a badass labcoat
Mindy Blumberg (Harmony Bat): Mindy, like Jean, also has a voice amplifier in their batsuit, but when they don't feel like singing, they occasionally throw a mean punch thanks to their weighted gauntlets
Rochelle Weems (Blackmail Bat): Rochelle's got dirt on everyone. Zir batsuit mask comes equipped with technology that allows them to hear even a pin drop from miles away, and ze can filter out certain sounds to focus on only one. Ze usually handles undercover missions with Mason
Mason Ewing (Info Bat): As Info Bat, Mason can decipher any sort of code created by criminals, and he can figure out passwords in five seconds flat by using his tech goggles, which project all sorts of info before his eyes. Her suit comes equipped with a holographic screen for her to log any information she comes across
Beck King: (Bat King): A veteran of Batraculous East and the best older sibling figure they've had. They've gone solo, but occasionally stop by just to be around their old teammates. Their suit comes with a hover function, almost making it look as if they're gliding through the streets, and allowing them to perform some excellent parkour moves
Batsuits
Austin A's Batsuit: A sleek suit with a pink and black color scheme and a sparkle emblem on his chest. His utility belt comes equipped with numbing spray, lipstick taser, and a comb knife, and his cape comes with a hood to protect his gorgeous hair from the rain
Austin B's Batsuit: A tech-inspired suit with a yellow and black color scheme and a pixelated bat emblem on the chest. Byte Bat's mask connects to Austin B's goggles, allowing him to see what he sees. So far, the only thing in his utility belt is a pair of handcuffs
Austin Q's Batsuit: Very Shark Boy-inspired. A slate blue and grey color scheme with a shark emblem on the chest. His batsuit is similar to a wet suit, and his mask is hooked up to a small but long-lasting oxygen tank built into it. The vision settings adjust the further he goes underwater, it can release pheromones that scare off predatory fish, and he has claws built into his gloves that are just as strong as a shark's teeth
Austin T's Batsuit: So. Much. PASTELS. Pastel green with white, and a pastel green bat on the chest. His batsuit is not all too intimidating, but that only gives criminals a chance to underestimate him and not put up much of a fight so he can deck them. His utility belt comes with a taser, pepper spray, a collapsable staff, and capsules filled with deconstructed baked goods for him to give to kids (Don't worry, he replaces them every day) His cape acts as a blanket for kids because he's sweet like that
Lotta's Batsuit: A sleek, reinforced, and lightweight suit with shock-absorption technology, allowing her to parkour and get into fights with no fear (Not that she ever had any) Lotta's suit is green with hints of brown, and a black bat emblem on her chest. Her utility belt comes equipped with a collapsable staff
Kendra's Batsuit: As bright and pink as Austin A's with a white bat emblem on the chest. Her suit is lightweight and not too bulky so she can perform some of her contortionist stunts. The protective material absorbs any blows and her utility belt comes equipped with several mini spy cameras for her to place where people would least suspect
DJ's Batsuit: A bright green color with hints of orange, and a smiley face emblem on the chest. His suit is almost like a Batsuit version of Miss Joke's hero costume, and there's a smile painted on their mask. Their utility belt comes equipped with laughing gas spray, a small jellybean can that releases a net, itching powder, and ink bombs
Austin S's Batsuit: A lightweight red and black suit reminiscent of a male ballerina's costume with a red bat emblem on the chest. The ribbons around his arms act as Aizawa's capture weapon. No one knows how they work. His cape comes with a hood that shadows his face but only shows two glowing red eyes, making for some haunting performances.
Gia's Batsuit: Gia's suit is reinforced with Kevlar. Her suit is an army camouflage print with a black bat emblem on her chest and comes equipped with weighted gloves that can knock someone out with a single punch. Her utility belt contains non-lethal hand grenades that give off small blasts when activated and incapacitate anyone standing too class. Her cape is bullet-proof for added protection
Victoria's Batsuit: Athleisure-style Batsuit with a green and yellow color scheme and a basketball with bat wings emblem on the chest, and her cropped cape comes with a hood. His utility belt is equipped with a grappling hook and taser, and his gloves are capable of making the plasma orbs. His wheelchair has voice-activation settings, only responding to his voice alone, and the wheels can fly off on their own and strike a criminal. (Imagine Go-Go's wheels)
Gerard's Batsuit: A high-tech suit colored a light blue with hints of white and a beaker emblem on the chest. His utility belt comes with tracking chips, capsules containing gaseous forms of his elixirs made to either heal his teammates or knock out criminals, and a taser. The hologram wristlet displays maps, records, the locations of his teammates, etc.
Mindy's Batsuit: Imagine badass Juliet Capulet. Her suit is a pastel purple with hints of white and has a music note with bat wings emblem on her chest. Poet sleeves. Her belt is equipped with a whip, and, like Jean, a device that's able to throw her voice. Her cape also comes with a hood because... Dramatic.
Rochelle's Batsuit: Rochelle's suit is dark blue with black accents and a black bat emblem on the chest. Zir utility belt comes with a tranquilizer gun and small microphones to leave in certain areas and pick up any conversations. Zir mask covers zir mouth and allows zir to hear anything from miles away. Zir cape also functions as an invisibility cloak
Mason's Batsuit: A lightweight suit colored blue with hints of black. Her mask is equipped with tech goggles that project the entire internet before her eyes (Even the dark web) The bracelet on her wrist can open up a holographic screen for them to take notes on, and their utility belt comes with an audio recorder pen, whip, and ink bombs
Beck's Batsuit: Beck's suit is black with some hints of blue and red. Their leather jacket is covered in graffiti and has a crown emblem on the back with bat wings. Their utility belt comes equipped with a grappling hook, collapsable staff, and throwing stars. Built into their gloves are brass knuckles and right at their fingertips are tasers. Their boots have hidden blades in the heels and allow for them to scale any surface
Base Rooms
The secret basement of the Tomassian estate is used as their home base
-The Main Control Room: The main center of the Batcave, equipped with all sorts of holographic displays built by Gerard and Austin B that track criminal activity and show maps of the city. There's a table-like touchscreen that controls the whole room- lights, furniture, and music. This is where DJ organizes each mission
-Garage: Their garage is filled with their own personal vehicles
-Armory: Gia, Gerard, Austin Q, and Kendra keep the room stocked with many different weapons ranging from hand grenades to DJ's prank supplies
-The Lab: This is Gerard and Austin B's territory. If you see the red light outside the lab is on, it means they're working on something, so do not disturb them. There are five supercomputers, a massive chemistry set, a 3D printer, a testing area behind indestructible glass for the others to test out any functions of their Batsuits, and three robot assistants
-Training Room: The training area comes equipped with state-of-the-art workout equipment, virtual training simulations, practice dummies that track their progress, and a wall of traditional weapons. Gia, Victoria, Kendra, Beck, and Austin Q run that very room with iron fists.
-The Library: It's full of massive shelves filled with paperback books and some Kindles (Mostly used by Gerard and Austin B), and the backroom contains records of the city, known criminals, and gangs. Gerard, Spinelli, Rochelle, Mindy, Austin B, and Mason frequent the library the most out of the others

-The Lounge: A comfortable space for the team to relax, watch movies, and grab something from the kitchen where Austin T. and Victoria cook every meal. It's also where the couples like to make out... A lot. If you see Austin A and Spinelli making out on the couch, just don't disturb them, alright? Seriously.
Vehicles
-The Batcycle: A tech motorcycle used by Beck that can move swiftly through any crowd. No one dares to ride it, because Beck will know and give the disappointed look
-The Bat Boards: Kendra, Austin A, Lotta, and Spinelli's hoverboards, used by them for patrols and surveillance through the city. The Bat Boards can travel at high speeds, and someone who's not used to riding one may find themselves a little shaken up

Night in Paris
Glam Bat: Glam Bat was getting his hair done at his usual salon when an armed robber burst in and held a beautician at gunpoint, threatening to fire unless everyone handed over their valuables. Not missing a beat, Glam Bat flung his comb knife at the robber's hand, making him drop the gun, and then he sprayed him with his numbing spray
Bat Byte: A string of cyber crimes has been hitting the city for quite some time now. Phones were blaring random alarms for national disasters that never happened, and computers were suddenly short-circuiting and losing all sorts of important date, so Bat Bye put on his tech goggles and did some digging. After looking through the Dark Web, he tracked the offenders down and sent his avatar to apprehend them
Shark Bat: While making his rounds through the water, he was about to resurface when an anvil dropped into the water with a rope tied around it, and the other end was tied around a man's ankle. Shark Bat tore through the rope with his claws, offered the man his mask to breathe, and swam back up the surface where he then proceeded to knock out the bastards who were trying to dispose of the man so he couldn't testify in court tomorrow
Bake Bat: While doing some surveillance in a neighborhood, Bake Bat was keeping tabs on a home that many people have reported regarding child abuse. Just when he was about to leave, he heard something coming from the backyard and found out that the shed was holding three children captive. After handing the children over to the police and giving them some cupcakes, he gave the "parents" a lengthy and graphic threat
Stunt Bat: Stunt Bat was hired as security for an actress who was being stalked by an unknown person. While guarding the hotel room, Stunt Bat heard a scream coming from the actress' room and found her in the middle of being kidnapped by the stalker. Stunt Bat barely stumbled when the stalker threw a barrage of punches at her, and easily knocked him out with one punch
Upside Down Bat: While staking out a mansion linked to several civilian disappearances, Upside Down Bat finds out that the owners are auctioning off human beings to rich buyers. She easily sneaks in undetected, takes out a few people who manage to spot her, and leaves several mini-cameras where the auction is being held. In just a few seconds, the auction was being broadcast all over the city
Prank Bat: Prank Bat often frequents a comedy club in the evenings when he's free. While up on stage and making the audience burst into laughter, he caught a guy hitting on a girl who was clearly underage and uncomfortable. She then proceeded to heckle the guy and turn everyone's attention toward him. To further humiliate him, Prank bat threw a couple of ink bombs the guy's way, covering him in an array of colors
Grace Bat: While giving instructions at a dance studio for children, Grace Bat heard some commotion coming from outside. Two very angry parents were questioning the whereabouts of their son who they forbade from taking "sissy dance lessons." He apprehended them with his ribbons when the two began harassing people, and quickly called the police. According to them, the boy's aunt and uncle took out a restraining order on them a year ago
G.I. Bat: G.I. Bat was doing a few patrol rounds one evening when she saw two guys trying to force a woman into a car. Apparently, the woman escaped from an organ harvesting organization and led G.I. Bat and the police right to their base

He maneuvered his way through the vents and dropped a few capsules on the criminals, causing their body's to go completely numb and allowing the officers to easily apprehend them
Harmony Bat: Harmony Bat was working undercover, singing in the choir for a cult hidden in plain sight. After collecting all of the evidence they needed, showing the cult leader harvesting the organs of children, they immediately sprung into action and temporarily deafened everyone in the room, leaving the children unharmed since it was only at a frequency adults could hear. The cult and several other sectors were raided and put to an end
Blackmail Bat: Blackmail Bat, like the name implies, blackmailed several government officials who have done... Less than wonderful things. Orphanages are being renovated, there's better health care, and abusers are actually getting arrested. This went on for a few more weeks until Blackmail Bat decided ze was satisfied, and exposed every single crime
Info Bat: A string of kidnappings has been going on all across the city, and the perpetrators always leave a clue behind in the form of a strange note with some sort of code just to taunt officers. Info Bat easily figured out the codes and tracked them down to an old apartment building where the kidnapped people were being held
Bat King: This was their last mission with Batraculous East before going solo. Spotting a group of armed gunman in a massive estate, they stealthily made their way in, easily disarmed the gunman with only their staff, and saved the family that was held hostage

most disturbing one shot tho, for me i think was when he visited jameson in rhe library and you described antis appearance??? idk just thinking about how he looks makes me uneasy. also the most recent one u posted. ALSO the one shot u posted recently where henrik stabs himself and gets punched?? bc henrik is my favorite that. that did me Extra Damage EXTRA DAMAGE
THATS A LOTTA DAMAGEEE
I think the reason my Anti is so creepy is that the physical torture isn’t the actual torture? It’s as if he uses that physical harm to torture them later by hanging the threat of it over their heads
