There are so many messages that fly around in this world, and many of them aren't very encouraging. We need to keep our hearts and minds focused on the things of God. Anything that encourages us to be loving, peaceful, just, patient, and pure is of God. When we focus on these things, instead of the discouraging messages the world produces, we will produce them in our actions during our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will for all our lives.

Everyday, we must remember to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and guilt. May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. ROMANS CHAPTER 14 NLT

Today we would deal with disputable matters . Some at times distort the scriptures for their own favour.

The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of living a life of joy and and godliness in the Holyspirit goodness and peace. Romans 14:17.

Satan knows how to occupy believers for nothing. In Acts a number of matters were disputed and they were between judistic and Christianity; paul and Barnabass took one’s side and the disciples another side until James wrote to the church to desist from eating defiled food.

From time in memorial man has redefined what the gospel of salvation is

Holyspirit reminds us that It’s not about us but our brothers and sisters that Jesus went on the cross and died for them.

What did Paul starts with saying accept others who are weak believes.

A weaker believer is one who has Carried things in away they have been raised or taught, at times it comes from individual cultures.

Most of the things observed in church people do them out of their culture e.g screaming in church while the preacher is preaching differs. Todays church has over blown some of these things to the extent of redefining Christianity.

We shouldn’t think we know more than other believes. Paul says when we do all these things without love we only edify ourselves and there is no God in it. 1 Corinthians 13

We shouldn’t destroy another believers conscience.

We worship God for ourselves eg tithe is a principal let’s not talk bad about those who have decided to tithe. We don’t have to rub down our throats to others.

We do all things unto the Lord. Our salvation is not a competition with other believers.

We are Gods servants not another man.

Is there a place we have not got the right light of God , we seek mercy to reach that light. Let’s also be patients wit those who have not yet reached at our levels , they will get there.

People still urge about Sabbath, every day is the Lord's day. Jesus Christ is our Sabbath. Those who worship God on a special day do it to honour Him.

Paul didn’t dictate on the decision because we wouldn’t read all the scriptures.

Pride in us doesn’t let things go to the point that we want to express knowledge

Everyone of us will give an account to God. We shouldn’t be quick to see another person doing the wrong thing. As scripture is being shared we at times think of someone else and yet the scripture is directed to us. Let’s not condemn others.

Some have searched the scriptures on alcohol just to condemn others.

No matter the choice of foods we should remember the kingdom of God is not about eating and drinking but of joy, peace and godliness.

It’s better not to eat certain things if they would cause another believe to stumble.

Let’s not get to the point where we make another believe our own project. Our focus is to build each other we are not “junior Holyspirit “.

If we so worried about a brother or a sister take it to God.

2 Timothy 2: 24 A servant of the Lord must not quarrel but must be kind to everyone, be able to teach, and be patient with difficult people. NLT

What’s our focus ? Sometimes it might not just be religious things , the kingdom of God is living a life of godliness, peace and joy.

Let’s aim for harmony in the body of Christ.

Hebrews 12:1 lets drop anything and everything including the mindset that will stop us from winning this race. We need to focus on how it will add to someone else’s salvation.

We must run this race with endurance, steady, active persistence and stay on course on the race that is set before us.

We need to be aware of everything that will want to distract us.

We run this race by keeping our eyes on Jesus totally yielded to the Holyspirit.Our lives are total submission. We need to be Aligned.

Mathew 6:33. We can’t manipulate God, we follow the order He sets not us, we obey.

Well satan doesn’t work in obedience.He works in disobedience

PRAYER

Lord we thank you for the word, give us wisdom and courage to walk with you. Let the salvation story be our victory. Let’s win people over even with our character. We won’t loose the sense of Gods assignment. We ask for revelation and discernment on anything that is not of God.

Generation One - Chapter Twenty

River has another funeral to attend, but also a meeting she's been looking forward to for a while. What sort of information is she going to come across? And how close will it get her to finding Ichiban again?

After a horrible first day back home, River met up with Rowan at the local skyline bar.

"Oh my gosh, what's happened?"

River shook her head, "Just some family problems." She didn't want to get into it. She had a job to do.

After ordering some food and drinks, they had a seat at one of the bubble machines. They talked about Rowan's salon job and River's college courses. Once River decided she'd buttered Rowan up enough, she finally decided to sink her teeth in.

Rowan didn't seem too surprised by the question, almost as if she'd been expecting it.

"You do know my brother's dangerous, right? I haven't really spoken to him in years..."

"Well, fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." Rowan sighed, "Last time we spoke, which was months ago by the way, he was living somewhere in Heng Gong."

"Heng Gong?! What for?"

"Hell if I know!" Rowan threw up her arms, "Again, he's bad news, but if you have no fear for your life, then by all means, try to contact him."

The rest of the meetup was a little tense. Rowan left soon afterwards saying she had something to do, but River figured she was upset over being asked about her twin.

Heng Gong, huh? She thought to herself as she walked back to the house. What's he doing there?

When she arrived back, she was greeted by an unexpected presence.

"I'm here for business purposes anyways. I found something out about your boy Ichiban."

"What is it?!"

"His family has some beef with the 13G."

"The what?"

"A well known group of gangsters based in Heng Gong."

"Heng Gong?!"

"Yeah, that's what I said."

River shuddered. Rohan had to be involved in that group - the 13G, it made sense that his people and Ichiban's people would be fighting. After all, one of Ichiban's people killed Joe...

There wasn't anything she could do about it at the moment. She was still studying villainy and had no experience in the real world as an actual villain! She was a total greenhorn!

Plus, she was home for the holidays and her grandparents had just died. She had other things to focus on for the moment. Ichiban would hopefully still be around by the time she was able to get to him.

Once inside she found her mom passed out on the couch. She'd probably been stressing all day, preparing for the funeral tomorrow, she couldn't take it anymore.

River grabbed the food sitting out to dump it out. She must have made herself dinner, but fell asleep before she could eat it. Who knows how long she'd been there, so it was better safe than sorry.

The next day River found herself back at the same funeral home she'd been at only a few weeks prior for Sayaka's funeral.

Both her mom's cousins had come into town for the funeral.

They used to be close when they were younger, but hadn't spoken in many years. It was nice seeing them there for support.

The service went well, but Bee choked up during her speech. The preacher saved the day by taking her place and things continued smoothly.

River and Mercy met up with Cortney, their cousin, after the funeral.

"Plus... I think it's kinda romantic how it happened..."'

Cortney sat down next to Mercy, "What do you mean by that?"

"Wow! You're... kinda right. I never knew that she promised him that. That is super romantic."

"I know, right?"

"Oh lord." River shook her head, although it was nice that Mercy had a way of finding beauty in all sorts of strange and morbid situations.

That night after the funeral, Bee's cousins Garrett along with his wife Glenda, daughter Cortney, and younger brother Logan came over to the house to make sure the family was okay.

However, after everyone else made their way out, Logan remained.

"Ya know Bee..."

Bee sighed, "Oh boy. What do you want, Logan?"

"You better not take this as an opportunity to mooch, Logan Smoke! If I let you stay, you're going to get a job, and you're not going to take part in any criminal activities, do you hear me?"

Logan nodded aggressively, "Oh yeah! I'll be as straight-laced as a spaghetti noodle!"

"Well that's..." Bee started, then decided against it. Logan never was the brightest, "Uh, anyways, yeah. You can stay in the room I was staying in... I'll show you where it is."

When River went back to college, Bee would technically be all alone and the thought frightened her. Mercy spent most of her time outside of school either in front of the TV or over at a friend's house. And while she spent many years living this way before they moved in with her parents, she was now used to constantly having someone to come home to that actually wanted to talk to her.

It might be nice having some company.

Word count: 1.4k

He doesn't know why he bothers to set an alarm when the nightmares work just as well. They're stronger than ever, and each year they start a little sooner. The nightmares, or more accurately‐ visions of the future, have only gotten darker with each year that MC has been held captive.

Barbatos hates the loopy, unfocused stare in MC's eyes and how much he's had to up the dosage, but at least this will be the last year he has to sedate them. The official courting period has passed and now that they are to be engaged, there will be nothing MC can do to stop the procession.

Once the betrothal pendant is closed onto MC's neck, they can be allowed to be 'awake' again. For no matter how strongly they want to leave or rebel, the pendant binds the soul, will, and life to the caster- the master's will is the betrothed's will. MC will always be working for the betterment of the kingdom, even if begrudgingly, because that is what King Diavolo wants.

There is a bit of mercy, if a bit of a double edged sword. MC's life would be extended a bit as they consume Lord Diavolo's life force, but -hell forbid‐ if anything were to happen to the King, MC would also die immediately.

Barbatos goes to MC's chamber and finds them on the floor, running their hand through the streams of sunlight. The fake sun was one of the many gifts that stuffed this room- a hollow apology from the King to help tide over MC's current state. It takes MC all of 5 seconds to be able to focus on his face, half the time it took last week, but they still give him a warm and adoring smile, so there must still be a working amount of honeyed amber in their system. If they were awake, they'd surely have tried to kill him by now.

Barbatos shoves down any discomfort he feels and invites MC for their annual "secret tea party". It's supposed to be his way of celebrating their arrival to the Devildom, but of course MC's never noticed that the date changes every year. MC agreed happily, promising to dress up like they always did- this "secret" tea party was held whenever king Diavolo was away with work so MC used the day to wear colors and styles that the King hated because it resembled the brothers too much. They agree on a time and Barbatos leaves to make his preparations.

He tries to keep a headache at bay by rubbing circles into his temples, but it doesn't help much. "Busy with work." How the King demands that Barbatos drug MC into compliance, but not have the stomach to be around when it happens is beyond him. Borderline delusion is what it is- that desperation Diavolo has to believe that MC would continue to stay with him willingly. Barbatos leaves the little Ds to assemble the cookies and finger snacks, while he focuses on the tea.

It was getting harder and harder to hide the bitter taste of the amber, and he couldn't risk sneaking it into something like ice cream or even wine for MC. So he does his best to mute the flavor with a sweet and aromatic tea, already concocting a story about how tiresome these days have been to explain the mediocre drink. When the time comes and the tea is brewed, Barbatos swings back to the main kitchen and picks up the dessert tower from the Little Ds.

MC is already seated when he steps onto the balcony, so he apologizes for being tardy. He sets the tray down and takes a minute to compliment MC on their outfit. They look stunning, but today they seem to radiate a little more life than normal. After greetings are exchanged he takes the lead and tells MC about everything that's been going on at RAD and with the brothers. Hijinx and pranks, punishments as usual. MC asks questions and hangs on to his every word, making sure to ask Barbatos how he's been and about the garden, since "-my room doesn't have a view of the mirage flowers and it's been so long since I've seen the lake. Could we go after tea?" Barbatos just smiles and gently pushes the topic elsewhere. He would miss these rare moments of clarity MC had- the next time their eyes cleared he knew they would hate him for eternity. He talks for another 10 minutes before realizing MC hadn't touched their tea or the snacks.

"Please, help yourself MC. Don't stop on my account; I've even made your favorite." He picks up a tart cookie he knows they like and hands it them. MC smiles and hums a little tune to themselves before picking up a cookie with scream cheese and offering it to Barbatos.

"And scream cheese is your favorite!" They seemed delighted with themselves for remembering so Barbatos can't help but smile as he takes the cookie from them and lifts it to give a toast.

"To another year of great memories-" they tap their cookies together and each take a bite. Barbatos finishes the small cookie in one bite and lifts his cup, relieved to see MC lift their cup as well.

"Oh I almost forgot to mention, the rose queen is... is..." Barbatos blinks once, twice, a strange feeling settling in his stomach.

"Um- the rose queen is coming to town again and we-," his breathing grows heavy as the world begins to tilt.

"MC-" he reaches out to smack the cookie MC grabbed out of their hand, there must be something wrong with them, but his grip on the table slips and he falls onto the ground. Barbatos stays there, head foggy and with absolutely no energy to move. MC made no effort to help him, nibbling on more snacks as they watched him fail to pick himself up. When Barbatos couldn't struggle anymore, MC stands up, walks to his side, and proceeds to dump the entire cup of tea on his face.

"Is this how you did it? Pretty words and poisoned tea? Keeping me in the loop on everyones' lives so I could pretend I was still a part of it all. I don't know what's worse. That you thought so little of me that you thought you could get away with it- or that it actually worked for a time."

"H-how-" Barbatos's voice came out in a whisper, the effort it took to even focus on MC's words covered his brow with sweat. When did they wake up? How did they know?

"Losing track of time with the drugs and keeping me locked in the castle was smart. With no sun outside it's easy to let the days blend together. But did you really think I wouldn't notice the way everyone would avoid me at parties or never come to visit? Even when one day turns to two, and then a week in the blink of an eye, you still have a lot of time to think."

"You were my friend. I trusted you- ALL of you. Lucifer can, physically, not talk back. The others were cowards. But you, Barbatos? I thought maybe you could reason with Diavolo. But it turns out you're really just a butler- a servant. A puppet. And your master's will comes before all else."

Barbatos can only let out little grunts of frustration in an attempt to stay awake, even as several feet scurry to the edge of his vision. Several black dots tittered nervously just outside of his reach and he struggles to put a name to them.

"MC, MC! The portal is open, we have to hurry!"

Little D ... number 2?

"Perfect, I'm done here anyways." MC's legs come close and Barbatos's face is jerked upwards, MC's glare filling his entire line of sight. "The pacts have been broken since the demon lords were useless to me in the end. If he tries to hunt me down, you'd better pick a God and pray to it that Diavolo kills me before I make it back to the Devildom." MC slams Barbatos down and picks up the Little Ds before running out of the room. MC's figure disappearing into the shadowy corridor is the last thing Barbatos can see before the potion takes full control, pulling him into a comatose state.

"MC... is free..."

Whether it was relief, fear, or resignation that Barbatos felt, he would never remember. Especially not when he's awoken 5 days later by King Diavolo throwing him clear across the room in a fit of rage.

The goodness that God pours out on His children is endless. God delights in showing mercy, giving grace and expressing His love and goodness. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus!

Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.

May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
