The other day I remembered one of my guilty pleasure angsty tropes... The one where one would never ever want to hurt the other, and then does accidentally hurt the other... like. Man. Serve me up some crushing guilt with that protectiveness brother.

Take it easy
I've been thinking of something a little softer for him. I know he has a soft side but he'll never admit it🤭
Tw: Smut/fluff
-------------------------------------------------------
It was raining in Seireitei, winter had arrived and the days have been rainy and cold. You didn't dislike those days because you liked to hear the sound of rain falling while you slept. It was extremely relaxing and harmonious. Although rain was something you loved very much, weather like that left you lost in your thoughts as you looked out the window and watched the clouds darken and the drops fall one after the other.
You were so distracted that you didn't realize that Kenpachi had entered the room.
"Y/n?"- His voice took you out of your thoughts
"Oh Kenny you're here"-you looked at him and smiled
"What's wrong with you? Did someone mess with you?"-He noticed that you seemed to have a sad look even though you were just pensive.
"No, I'm just reflecting on that"
"For a moment I thought I had to go find the idiot who had done something"-He said and you chuckled
Deep down he didn't want you to drown in your thoughts and forget he was there and that's why he was testing you to see your reaction. He threw himself on the bed and pulled you onto his lap in a quick movement that made you startle a little.
"Come here Y/n and don't you dare make that insufferable melancholy face"- he threatened as you tried to fit into his lap because of his strong arms holding you.
"Kenny you're suffocating me"- you said making him loosen his grip a little
You managed to put one leg on either side of him while your arms kept him close to you. Although the day was cold, his body was warm and you felt comfortable next to him. He pulled back a little to look at your face and noticed that you had the same neutral air as a few minutes ago and decided to tease you again.
"What did I say?"- he said lifting your face to meet his
"Kenny I already told you I'm not…" Your sentence was cut off when he kissed your lips
"You talk too much, be quiet"- he said kissing you again
If he was trying to get you out of your thoughts, he was succeeding. He held the side of your face and deepened his lips against yours, you held the back of his neck as you tried to keep up with his voracity. You pulled away a little trying to breathe a little, he took your breath away with so little.
He brushed his lips across your neck causing you to feel a slight shiver running down your spine. You put your hand on the back of his neck and stroked his hair while you closed your eyes and enjoyed the feeling of having his mouth leaving marks on your neck. You noticed that the air had become a little more tense and hotter than before, both already started to feel their body temperature rise. He started taking your top clothes off exposing the skin of your breasts to him, you leaned back slightly and let him pass his mouth there. He loved tracing your body with his lips and leaving as many marks as he always did, he loved when everything felt hot and necessary. When all the clothes had already been removed, he slid a hand through your wet folds and your body shuddered. You held one of his shoulders while your other hand held his wrist slowing the rhythm of in and out movements.
"I wanted to ask you to go slower today please"- You muttered as you looked away from him
"You don't need to blush so much when asking for something"- You felt your face burn even more after he mentioned that
"I'm not blushing"
"If you keep talking I swear I'll forget what you asked me right now, you hear?"- he warned and you just nodded
You held his shoulders to lean on him, he grabbed his cock and passed it a few times through your slit making you release some moans. He slowly put it on you and you felt it filling every corner of you, you took it so well that he let out a sigh next to your ear. He ran one of his hands down your back while the other held one of your hips and squeezed it lightly.
You held his face and kissed him as you felt your slick insides tighten around him, it felt so good and he was loving it. He moved his hand from your back to the back of your neck to deepen the kiss even more, it was slow and intense. He didn't like it when things happened at that pace but as you asked him he couldn't deny it. Even though he played strong all the time, he always granted your wishes even if it was something that he didn't appreciate very much.
You rode him at a leisurely pace as you hugged his body close to you. He held the back of your thighs and laid you down on the mattress placing himself on top of you, he put his head in the crook of your neck as he thrust into you. You ran your hands down his back and dug your nails into his skin, you couldn't help but moan his name as he was moving so gently in and out of you. You felt your insides tighten his dick each time he entered you intensely. You arched your back off the mattress as he left light bites on the skin of your neck, you were so close.
Even though he was being slow with you, his strong hand kept gripping your neck as his heavy, panting breaths pounded against your ear. The other times when you and him were there in a scene like that, he almost always kept one hand wrapped around your neck as as he moved at a ferocious pace.
You tightened your thighs around his broad waist as you came, he saw the way your body responded so well to the pleasure he was giving you and your voice moaning his name in his ear just made him come inside you. He laid his head on your chest and stayed there as his breathing returned to normal, you stroked his long black hair as he watched the rain outside the window. It felt less intense now.
"Don't ever ask me to take it slow again" - he said and you looked at him
"You don't like it?"
"I find it depressing"
"Actually I think it's romantic"
"Romantic? It doesn't make my type"
"I know, but you're cute when you take it slow"
He looked at you with an arched brow and you giggled. Behind all that appearance there was still a soft side❤️

Ironstrange - they meet pre-ironman and stick with each other through it all/sarcasm all the way pointing out each others flaws and working on it together.
This is a lot of ground to cover, so I offer you snippets :) Also, this somehow became a songfic halfway through. 'Through the years' by Kenny Rogers, because the lyrics are so very fitting.
Ko-fi | Masterlist | Word count: 0.8k (plus the song lyrics)
Tumblr media
I can't remember when you weren't there When I didn't care for anyone but you I swear, we've been through everything there is Can't imagine anything we've missed Can't imagine anything the two of us can't do
The first time they met was at a medical conference. Stephen was there to give a speech. Tony was there to donate money and to party, and because Pepper had forced him to make an appearance. It was good press for SI or something like that.
For once he had decided to listen because he remembered medical students to be big party animals.
Well, it turned out that changed after they graduated college and worked real jobs. It wasn’t the worst party he had ever been to but he was still very bored.
That was until a young doctor approached him at the bar and flirted with him bluntly. Tony was flattered – still he didn’t intend to make it too easy for the man. No matter how handsome he was.
“So you’re some kind of surgeon prodigy? That don’t impress me much.”
“Shania Twain, 1997. Although loosely interpreted.”
Tony didn’t indicate with any reaction if he had actually planned to make it sound like those lyrics. But he did gesture to the barkeeper to bring a drink for Strange; and that had to mean something.
It gave Strange a boost of confidence. “I will have you impressed by the end of the night.” It wasn’t a question, just a simple statement. He had wanted to pick apart Tony Stark’s brain ever since he specialized in neurology. And now he had the chance.
Through the years, you've never let me down You've turned my life around The sweetest days I've found, I've found with you Through the year, I've never been afraid I've loved the life we've made And I'm so glad I've stayed right here with you Through the years
“Why do you have to go to Afghanistan for that demonstration?” Stephen asked – again. “Rhodey said it would be perfectly fine to do it in Nevada.”
Of course Rhodey – that traitor – had told him that. The two had joined forces against him on this issue.
“Because I can,” he replied – again. “It’s called customer service.”
Stephen looked away. “I think it’s the worst idea you ever had and that you are an idiot for doing this.”
Tony saw it in Stephen's face that he wasn’t happy about his answer. They had already argued so much about this, and Tony was tired of it.
What Stephen and he had wasn’t a relationship. Not really. Both had agreed on that. And this was part of why.
“Thanks for establishing that. You’re welcome to leave anytime.” Like everyone else did who was fed up with Tony. There always came the point when people no longer tolerated his bullshit.
Stephen’s jaw clenched, but he didn’t move. “Yeah, no. I’m not letting you go that easily.” He was neither impressed by his words nor his behavior.
Tony let out a breath he didn’t realize he had held. He preferred arguing to Stephen walking out of him.
I can't remember what I used to do Who I trusted, whom I listened to before I swear, you've taught me everything I know Can't imagine needing someone so But through the years it seems to me I need you more and more
Tony was standing in Stephen's apartment. It felt familiar yet odd. Things were still in the same place as before he had left, but something seemed to have changed. He was exhausted by the past month he had lived in that hidden cave.
It took Tony far too long to realize what that was: there was no trace of him in the apartment anymore. Before there had been small items scattered all around: a book, tablets, clothes… it was all gone. And Tony didn’t know what that meant. He had been gone for months and he didn’t know if Stephen had moved on in the meantime.
Tony felt vulnerable because maybe for the first time in his life he didn’t know what to say. He couldn't predict Stephen's reaction.
“So you got kidnapped in Afghanistan. That don’t impress me much,” Stephen finally said in his best ‘I told you not to go’ voice.
Tony smiled, still tired, as a weight was lifted off his shoulders.
Through the years, through all the good and bad I knew how much we had I've always been so glad to be with you Through the years, it's better every day You've kissed my tears away As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you Through the years
“It’s going to be alright.”
Tony meant it, but for Stephen it was a lie. He didn’t see how he could ever be alright again. He was ruined. He had lost his hands – the single most important part of him.
“Spare your breath,” he hissed coldly. He didn’t want to hear Tony’s words of comfort. They meant nothing to Stephen.
Tony sighed, his eyes on the golden ring on the table next to his husband's hospital bed. Stephen wasn’t able to wear it, his hands were still bandaged. Maybe he would never be able to wear it again. Even without the promise Tony had made on the day he had given the ring to Stephen, he wouldn’t waltz out just like that.
“Nice try. But I won’t let you go that easily.”
Through the years, when everything went wrong Together we were strong I know that I belonged right here with you Through the years, I never had a doubt We'd always work things out I've learned what love's about, by loving you Through the years
Tony took in his husband's appearance; the goatee, the blue robes, and the subtle muscles under them. He looked good – far better than the day Stephen had run away to Nepal on a whim. It seemed like he found what he had been looking for and Tony was glad to see him in a better place.
Still, it didn’t hurt to grill him a little more; just as a revenge for the radio silence.
Tony crossed his arms. “So you’re a wizard now? That don’t impress me much.”
Through the years, you've never let me down You've turned my life around The sweetest days I've found, I've found with you Through the years, it's better every day You've kissed my tears away As long as it's okay, I'll stay with you Through the years
They were on Titan and their chances to win looked rather slim. Still, there was hope; as long as they stuck together through it.
Tony stepped next to Stephen as they watched together Thanos arrival on that vast planet.
“So you’re that purple grape that gave me nightmares for years?” His nano-sunglasses were back on his nose for the sole purpose to look over their rim judgmentally. “That don’t impress me much.”
He heard Stephen roll his eyes.

Cartman's girl toys
While Cartman shows everyone his new dinosaur toy, Stan feels confused about some of his other toys
Stan stepped into Cartman's room while Kyle and Kenny trailed behind him.
“My Mom got me this new remote Dinosaur!! Ain't it cool?” The 8 year old held up the cheap piece of plastic like it was made of crystal.
“Did your Mom get that thing from the corner store?” Stan asked, walking around the purple painted room looking at all of the fat boys' toys littered around the room. ‘Purple is a girl color,’ he thought to himself. His room was purple too but that was only because it used to belong to his sister Shelly before he was born and got moved to a different bedroom.
“Uh, yeah. Why?” Cartman wasn't even looking at him. He was too busy showing Kyle all the cool noises his dino could make. Kenny sat cross-legged next to Kyle.
“It looks like trash.” Stan said, looking down at a doll.
“You look like trash!” He shouted before holding up the remote away from Kyle.
“C’mon dude let me have a turn!!”
“No!! It's my dino!!!” Cartman attempted to kick away the ginger and stretched the remote far away.
Stan stared wordlessly at the bubble gum pink doll. He felt confused? Disgusted? Uncomfortable? He looked around more and found a tea set.
“Who's this doll belong to?” He looked over his shoulder at Kyle and Cartman who were now tumbling around the floor, Kyle straddled on top while Cartman was squirming away. Kenny swiped the remote from his hand with a giggle.
“HEY!”
“Cartman!” Stan called out holding the doll
“Put Prissy Polly Pants down, she's mine!” he demanded, walking up to him and snatching the doll out of his hand, hugging it in his arms.
“Dude these are sissy toys.”
Kyle walked up to them, “Is that the stupid doll Cartman had a tea party with? The one that we got on tape?”
“Prissy Polly Pants ain't stupid! She's a lady.” Cartman set her back down on her chair with a smile.
“Dude, that's just sick.” Stan blurted out with a grimace.
“What?” He said softly, his blue and brown eyes wide with confusion.
“Why do you own girl's toys!?” Stan crossed his arms
He blinked at Stan, stunned.
“Girls? Girl toys?” He stammered.
“Yeah.”
Kyle stood next to Stan looking around at Cartman’s stuffed animals and his little tea set carefully put away in his closet. His other action figures were sprawled on the ground with their plastic guns.
“How do you know it's a girl toy?”
“Because it's fucking pink!” he yelled
Cartman shrunk away, “I like pink . . .” He mumbled, tears tipping his eyes.
“Where did you even get that thing?”
“I donno I've had it since I was a baby.” He mumbled.
“And the tea set?”
“Yeah that too.”
“Why would your Mom buy you girls toys?” Kyle said with a chuckle
“You're just mad I own more toys!” Cartman exploded out.
“Half of these toys are junk anyway! At least I don't play with stupid sissy girl toys!”
Cartman's face scrunched up with tears running down his face. He smacked Stan on the shoulders trying to shove him down before dramatically falling into his unmade bed, screaming and crying into the pillow.
“God what a fucking baby.” Stan joined Kenny on the floor. He handed Stan the remote to have a turn. Kyle stood, looking at the sobbing boy. They had heard him cry and throw fits before. They got used to his tears. But instead of feeling annoyed he felt guilt. He bit his lip and fidgeted with his hat, pulling down at the straps. They always teased each other, but this time felt like they had crossed a line.
“What are you looking at?” Stain asked from the floor.
“Dude, I think we went too far. They're just toys, it's not a big deal.”
Stan shrugged.
“I mean, action figures are basically dolls”
“Nuh uh! Action figures are completely different!”
Kyle sat on the bed, “Hey dude we're sorry.”
Stan glanced over at them and felt the guilt creeping in.
“I'm sorry Cartman. I just- I don't get it. Why would your Mom get you all these girly things??”
Cartman rolled his snotty wet face to the side to look at the boy on the floor. Kenny stared up at them all, quietly observing everything as usual.
“I- I don't know. . I just do.” He sat up and wiped his eyes.
“Well I think your dragon is cute.” Kyle said, picking it up.
“That's Rumpertumskin.”
“Oh.” He gave it to Cartman who hugged it close.
“You better not steal my toys.”
“Shut up fatass I don't want your toys. Who's this?” Kyle pointed at the Panda.
Cartman smiled a little, “That's Peter Panda!”
“Cute.” Kyle noted before setting it down where he found it. Stan tossed the cheap remote aside.
“Sorry.” He wasn't sure what he was sorry about but he said it anyway. His frustrations melted away to confusion. He didn't understand why a boy would want to carry around a doll and have tea parties with it.
“Whatever.” Cartman threw his dragon aside and snatched the plastic dinosaur out of Kennys hands before he could break it.

I promised this like forever ago and I'm finally posting it now:
Me and My sister's collective ranking of all the Winnie the Pooh animated movies
(That are available on Disney Plus)
Before I start I am completely aware that I probably have a bias to some of these, as I grew up with a few. I tried to look subjectively at each movie and take into account both characterization as well as how the movie feels as a whole and it's plot.
I'll try my best to avoid any spoilers, as well.
9) A Valentine for you (1999): 3.5/10
Starting with the obvious outlier here: I know this is technically a short and not a movie. The fact of the matter is though that I watched it and hated it. It felt... cheap. Rushed. I felt no love or care was put into this while I was watching it. What plot it has makes little sense. Though I understand what they were going for, it doesnt feel fitting for Winnie the Pooh canon. The only reason it has a 3.5 is because the song Tigger and Rabbit sing, while short, is actually kinda cute and catchy.
8) A Very Merry Pooh Year (2002): 5.5/10
I don't have a lot to say about this one, either. It was very cute, for what it was! I enjoyed myself watching this, unlike the previous entry. The split apart plot threw me off, though, and it felt more fitting for multiple shorts rather than trying to make those two plot ideas fit together in some way. Felt very disconnected as a whole.
That being said, I did enjoy the second story way more than the first. I love it when the characters show such genuine care for each other.
7) Springtime with Roo (2004): 6/10
It does pain me to put this movie so low. I mean, a quarter of it is Tigbit FanFiction. That's like one of my favorite things. The conversation Tigger and Rabbit have halfway through always hits me in the heart. You never see them actually have a sit down talk and try to understand each other, and I love that about this movie.
There are just certain things that bother me. Perhaps I'm picky. The movie just didn't stand out to me in a way that the ones above it have. There's no real story. Just felt like Rabbit being hurt for an hour or so.
That being said there is genuine charm here I can see why some might rank it higher.
6) Winnie the Pooh (2011): 6.5/10
I also like this movie. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Tom Kenny as Rabbit is hilarious. This is probably the funniest movie in the whole series. (To me)
My problem with it is also the thing I like about it. The comedy, while funny, also comes as a detriment to the characterization. I feel as if they play up the characters' traits to the point they feel hollow and one note. Rabbit is over the top, Piglet is a kiss ass to Pooh, Pooh is... kind of self centered?? They don't feel like themselves. These characters do not feel like they would genuinely care for each other as true family. The Tigger Movie would never happen in this universe.
Like I said, I think the movie is funny. It's entertaining in its own way. But I can't see it being canon in any way shape or form and that stops me from putting it higher.
5) The Heffalump Movie (2005): 7/10
This is a really sweet movie. It has such a wonderful message, and I love the change they made to the Heffalumps as a whole. I think it really expands the universe.
Roo and Lumpy have such a sweet friendship. I can't very well speak on the messages in this movie aside from "don't judge a book by its cover", but I do think they do a good job of conveying the lesson simple enough for children to understand, while not treating them like they're stupid.
I have no real problems with this movie. I just think the ones I ranked higher are better than it.
4) The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977): 8/10
I feel like this was a perfect introduction to the characters and their personalities. There's something so charming about how it's aged.
I know my bias is showing through with this entry, but even as an adult I truly appreciate everything about it. I think, for the time it was made, it did what it wanted to just right. It didn't want to tell a big story, so it didn't. I don't feel like it needed to, either. I think the stories flow nicely into one another and fit well in the universe.
3) Piglet's Big Movie (2003): 8.5/10
I'll be honest, I grew up with this movie. It's so beautifully charming and heartfelt.
I actually don't have too much to say about it, either, though. I love the characterization and the lesson it tells. I love how the characters feel as if they've known each other for their whole lives and truly love and care for each other like family. It's warm and even when they're fighting you can tell they only do it out of a place of genuine care.
2) The Tigger Movie (2000): 9.5/10
I realize this might be a controversial(?) place to put this movie. I can completely understand why some would put it at their number 1 spots.
That being said, I love this movie with every fiber of my being. And believe it or not, no, I didn't ever see it when I was a kid. I only watched it for the first time a few years ago.
The Tigger Movie is beautiful and gut-wrenching. Most definitely the saddest of all of the movies on this list. I could go on and on about it forever. I love seeing Tigger in the spotlight of anything and I love seeing his emotions and thoughts. The themes of love and family are unmatched. Not to mention the songs! There isn't a single bad one.
The only thing that keeps it from being a 10/10 for me is Rabbit’s role in this movie. I realize I am being picky with that and I don't want to elaborate purely on the fact that it isn't anything but a very minor complaint for me.
1) Pooh's Grand Adventure (1997): 10/10
Literally the perfect Winnie the Pooh film in my eyes.
The songs are catchy and filled with wonder. Each character feels like they were torn from the page of the book. You understand where everyone is coming from in their point of view and you can't help but smile and laugh and cry with them during each moment.
Their family dynamic is so beautiful and innocent. There's nothing I would change about any of it. I still get emotional watching this and the Tigger Movie both.
Hell, Pooh's Grand Adventure is one of the reasons I have been into storytelling since I was young. It is still one of the stories I look back on and aspire to write something as whimsical and pure as.
If you got this far, thank you! These are of course just my personal opinions and I'd love to hear your own rankings! 😊✌️

Why do you think k2 isn't popular anymore?
hi anon! I love to talk so I'll answer this but I'll preface it by saying that although I'm not new to South Park, I'm newer to its fandom. I joined in like 2021 and by that point k2 had already fallen out of favor! before that I just observed it peripherally.
I think it's probably for a few reasons.
of the three main 4 ships for Kyle, it's obvious why k2 is the least popular of the lot. the other two have popular shipping tropes built in (best friends and rivals). there's also not a lot of canon moments to point to, you know, k2 doesn't have a "Guitar Queer-O" or a "Crack Baby Athletic Association" or whatever, really, whereas style and kyman have several such episodes. like I guess you have "Jewbilee" but a lot of people write off those early seasons. (and you have the Mysterion trilogy... to ME. pivotal k2 moments)
and I could end it there because that explains it for the most part but you're right. I think there was a time k2 was more popular than kyman at least (style was always reigning champ until creek took the crown!!!).
I personally believe that fandom (in general, not specifically SP) in recent* years has developed this sort of obsession with Ships Becoming Canon and that some ships are More Canon and therefore More Correct than others which has throttled both crackshipping and multishipping.
like idk there were obviously ship wars (nasty ones!) and OTPs in the 00s and 2010s, but it felt like people were more open to imagining the possibilities and potential between characters who may not have had much (or any) interaction, based solely on their personalities. there's a lot to say about the evolution of fandom as a whole but that's not your question.
so people have kind of settled on their one ship per character and that's it. most Kenny ships have been snuffed out by something or other (fitting) except for one. and that's bunny. and because it's got that one episode, it's now the Most Correct choice for him.
sorry you asked about k2 and I turned this into another complaint about the loss of Kenny biking :''( anyway, I think the appeal of k2 is the potential. you also can't approach it the same way you do style or kyman which I do think has stifled its popularity. this post, despite the broken links, is one of my favorite explanations of their fandom potential that also keeps in mind that we're working within the confines of what we're given. that is to say, South Park doesn't exactly lend itself to this sort of overwrought thinking but we all do it anyway.
it's not dead tho. plenty of people do still ship it and love it!! and I hope you support the @k2-fanzine when it comes out. but yeah you're right, it's lost steam and there's more reasons than what I've listed but I talk too fucking much.
*and by recent, I mean recent! I reblogged this list of character and ship weeks from the far off year of 2019 that @6ftkyle found while deep diving his old SP blog. look at all that!
anyway you should ask my bestie @6ftkyle these questions. he's the k2 guy. I'm actually a kyman truther but I think Kenny's gonna catch his mans Kyle in his fall from grace from their inevitable divorce.
and shout out to @deny-the-bird who asked for a shout out.

I just want you to stay with me, please...
Match: Kenny Omega and Matt Jackson
Summary: Kenny Omega wants someone near him after having a traumatic nightmare of a gore reality.
Warning: Blood, fading, death, language (not suitable for kids)
PS: Sorry for my bi-gay cuddle scene at the almost end, I just wanted to add a little more detail to the story.
If you don't like the content of the story, just DON'T READ IT.
Tumblr media
KENNY POV
I was very tired, you could tell I had a busy day. The gym. Recovery of my remains. Absolutely everything. At the same time I felt good, because I have support and I am the happy face that fits the group.
Straight to the point. I went to my room, Matt and Nick were there (it was ordinary), eating and talking about their relatives, as was Brandon. I just wanted to go to bed, sleep and not hear from anyone all fucking day.
I opened my eyes again, but this time everything was in black and white, with some red details. I had a floating bed and a stomach ache. Then I started to put my head towards the east side of the bed to vomit, but the strangest thing was that I was vomiting blood, which was a surprise. I looked in the mirror and noticed that I had a bruise on my cheek, which was also a surprise.
I couldn't wake up or know what was happening, until... a little human appeared in my bed. She was a girl, a sweet girl who didn't break a plate, she was more or less like an eight year old kid.
"Hello." I told the girl, not noticing that she suddenly turned into a cannibalistic monster. Extremely rare.
"Okay, I made you mad. But we just met, little girl."
Back then, the monster turned crazy, instead of resorting to cannibalism as he thought, he took out a blade and tried to cut my throat. But it wasn't that easy. He had a plan B.
"Open your mouth." He ordered me.
"You're not going to do anything to me, are you?" I asked him nervously, but he seemed to be annoyed.
"What a stupid question you just asked. I'm going to be the one to cut out your tongue."
So, several of his henchmen put up with me. My face was full of horror, but none of that stopped that animal from sticking its blade in the middle of my tongue, making it bleed. I screamed loudly in pain. The monster, while laughing, fell off the precipice, being devoured by purple lava. Then I saw his squeleton convulse in a horrific way.
I opened my eyes suddenly, seeing that everything returned to normal, that it was just a nightmare that is not going to come true. In the same way, I was traumatized by that movement.
MATT POV
Nick, Brandon and I started ordering food from outside. We haven't heard from Kenny since he went to his room. So I went to find out what was going on. I entered the room, and found him. Crying, trembling with horror and with his chin on his pillow.
"Hey..." I started to make conversation. "Are you alright Ken?"
He didn't say anything to me, but he kept crying. It was obvious that something was going on in his mind and he didn't want to tell me.
"Everything is fine, Ken. I'm here, I always will be no matter what. Do you understand?"
He nodded, took a deep breath before whispering:
"Promise me that even if they're going to cut out my tongue, or even if they want to traumatize me with a lot of things, you'll always be by my fucking side."
"You won't have any problem with that, I'll always be there for whatever you need. My brother and I will be. But if you don't want to tell me anything about what really happened, then I'll forget the question."
He sighed. "I just want you to stay with me, please..."
"Okay, okay. I'll stay, chicken nugget. Just because you ask me to."
Ken wiped his face, hugging me with that affection that he always has, as I cuddled him for a while. There will never be anyone as friendly, funny, loyal and talented as he was.
"Hey, Nick, Brandon and I ordered pizza. Do you want to come down?"
"It would be fine by me, but I don't want the two of them to notice that I've been crying over a shitty nightmare."
We went to Nick's room, and none of them noticed anything unusual about Kenny, the only thing they noticed was his unexplained tiredness.

Hello! So I saw that post you made a few days ago answering an ask about your twilight headcanons and may I ask for some too? But specifically about your highschool au. I love the fact that you made Alice trans and Jasper with his nails painted! I would absolutely love read some ""behind the scenes"" of them :))
Awwwww :)) You liked DITS!!! My first foray into twilight fanfiction after a decade away!!!! This became a long, rambling tangent so bear with me
Thaaank you :)) You didn't ask for this but I'm feeling like a yarn:
For me, DITS was just about exploring how I could shape the Cullens the way I wanted them, mostly because I was retroactively unhappy about the media I consumed as a teenager being so hegemonic.
Because vampires have always been about 'The Other' yknow? The fringes, the outside of culture. To me, in core vampire media it emphasizes aversion to danger, a threat to human normalcy. For twi-hards, the allure might be more in it's secrecy and the feeling of exclusivity.
And that's also what popularity is, so I thought it'd be fun.
But I was also starving for media that was More Gender, and I was at a stage in my life where I wanted something familiar, that my then-current stage of sexual and gender identity wasn't. It was new, it felt painfully secretive, it was embarrassing to be so invested. So I just did DITS and it's also why I will probably never go back to it. I've managed to grow since then, phew!
But if they had continued, I think they were suburban enough to persue college;
Academically, Emmett would have a 'C's get degrees' mindset, and I'm not sure he would manage to finish a degree. But if he flunked out he would have just worked, because you don't need a uni education to make a living. He ends up doing hostel work around the world - backpacking around and doing odd jobs. He falls in love with traveling, discovering new things and new places.
He's got a knack for languages, not because he is particularly good at them, but he's earnest and he tries, and he's confident enough in his skills in charades and the kindness of locals when encountering a lost tourist that it usually sees him through (unless he's in France) He starts a travel blog, with some short video films, to keep his friends n family updated.
THE HEADCANONS, AFTER THE EPILOGUE:
Edward does a bachelors, probably a Masters, probably does the broke orchestra, starving artist grind. (He and Jake don't last, they're drift until they realise there might not even be friendship between them.) He ends up getting a position in a sound production company, and got a couple gigs composing soundtracks.
Jake ends up getting a scholarship for creative writing. He found his niche in poetry focusing on his position as a non-straight first nations man. He gets published in his college journal first. He meets literati of the academic set. He fits in. He ends up becoming a college professor.
Bella studies journalism, she wants truth and she wants honesty. She ends up reviewing movies on her local paper. She goes viral on the internet for shitting over a few high-profile trash-heaps and gets a Rodger Ebert-level of respect, jk she's a woman so she gets an incel hatetrain and has to leave social media. But she stays a popular critic, with therapy and processes to deal with trolls n doxxing. Despite it all, she likes it.
Jasper doesn't bother with college, he gets a job as a gopher on movie sets, he finds that he's handy enough with some shitty opensource software to start editing equally shitty student films.
Alice pursues fashion design. She goes long-distance with Jasper, when he moves to LA. After she graduates, she ends up having Emmett come with her to her mother's home country. They do touristy things and they catch up after about 5-8 years of not seeing each other.
Rosalie ... drifts. She finishes college, get an office job, but her dad dies soon after she graduates. She doesn't take it well, but her mother takes it worse. (Her little brother Kenny ends up moving in with their paternal grandparents to finish high school, his own choice.)
She and Emmett travel down to Brazil after her graduation, to visit her maternal grandmother. But it's an awkward 2 weeks, and after they get back they have one of those heart-wrenching, sobbing break-ups that wounds both of them. She calls him 'the one who got away' but mostly because it annoys Edward. She and Edward end up living together for a spell, and they are both, to their chagrin, the best roommates each of them ever have.
Carlisle and Esme get together. Carlisle waits until he's officially an empty-nester, after the kids graduate high-school, to have her move in with him. It's a wonderfully ordinary wedding, one of the last times all the gang see each other.
Maybe a decade passes ... maybe more.
They meet again mostly by accident.
In his long and varied career, Emmett becomes assistant director on an arthouse film by some european company. The title of the movie is a poem that inspired the script. A poem by one Jacob Black.
Alice designed and made the costumes, but she was too removed from the project to know who else was involved. Except Jasper, who edits the film, since they'd eloped after they missed each other too much to be apart.
Edward scores the music, and he meets Emmett almost be accident during the recording of the score.
Rosalie is the main girl. Emmett had known exactly where a weird broke project could get a drop-dead gorgeous hard-boiled blonde. It's the first favor he'd asked of her since a ride to the airport after he let his American driver's license expire.
Bella reviews it with the relish of knowing exactly where everyone was. Maybe she wasn't the kindest to the movie itself, but her playful joy at naming each person involved almost made it glow.
They don't all attend the premiere, but they all end up seeing Bella's review, and seeing several familiar names, they end up converging onto Carlisle's house after years away.
It's not as though they all become famous in the entertainment industry, only Edward, Bella, Alice and Jasper continue to pursue any creative industry at all, but it's a moment where everything fell into place, and their connection were forged anew.

2023 Mega-Book Log
Except it only covers the last third of 2023. *disco dances*
So here's a mega-list of all the books I read AND FINISHED in 2023! From September thru December, that is!:
Bamboo Kingdom Book 3: Journey to the Dragon Mountain by Erin Hunter
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness Book 4: Outcast by Michelle Paver
The Deadlands Book 1: Hunted by Skye Melki-Wegner
Kenny & the Dragon by Tony DiTerlizzi
Lord Brocktree by Brian Jacques
Martin the Warrior by Brian Jacques
A Peculiar Peril by Jeff VanderMeer
Pride Wars Book 1: The Spinner Prince by Matt Laney
The Rise and Reign of Mammals by Steve Brusatte
Safe Area Goražde: The War in Eastern Bosnia 1992-95 by Joe Sacco
Tuki: Fight for Fire by Jeff Smith
Warriors of the Black Shroud by Peter Howe
Here are the books I didn't finish, but enjoyed nevertheless (to some degree at least...):
Chaucer’s People by Liza Picard
The Enchantress (The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel Book 6) by Michael Scott
The Faerie Queene by Edmund Spenser
The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms by N. K. Jemisin
And of those, here are the books following me into 2024:
The Chronicles of Ancient Darkness Book 5: Oath Breaker by Michelle Paver
In the Garden of Beasts: Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler’s Berlin by Erik Larson
Kindred: Neanderthal Life, Love, Death, and Art by Rebecca Wragg Sykes
I would not have expected my finish to unfinished ratio to look like that. I always feel like I abandon so many books. So this is uplifting to see! I am a very slow reader, though, in part because I insist on reading five or more books at a time. Greedy greedy...
I'm gonna take the time to just give a quick overview of my year so I can put the 2023 mega-log into context: this year sucked elephant balls for me. Huge, hairy, sweaty, dirty elephant balls. I mean the first eight months of it did; the last four months, when I left my shit job, moved to Virginia, and started this book log, were much better. I've got plans for 2024, some of them book-related, though I feel re-employment will be inevitable. This will, of course, have a significant impact on my reading patterns.
My main reading goal for '24 is to keep up with my Redwall reread. I've also discovered this year that I enjoy having at least one science-y book open at a time...the weeks inbetween Mammals and Kindred felt a little vacant to me. Reading such works is like encountering a hydra: as soon as I finish one, I discover through its bibliography two or three more that catch my interest.
Before I got Fucking Covid (TM) at the beginning of '23, I had plans to read more classic literary works by people of color. Clearly that didn't work out at all. As luck would have it, my friend lent me several books that fit this criteria (over a year ago now.....), so I will definitely be getting to those. Hopefully I can get a few more in besides that.
There are also quite a few books I'd like to buy and own. Most are out of print and will have to be bought secondhand. Certainly not something I should be indulging while unemployed. But wait! What is that shelf of unread books calling to me from the other side of the room? Surely something I can ignore...
Well less writing and more reading!!! I'll see y'all in a few B)

Julie and the Phantoms: In Retrospect
On September 10th 2020, Julie and the Phantoms got released on Netflix worldwide. A phenomenon was born.
That sounds dramatic, but I think it's close to the truth. No one expected it to be big, despite Kenny Ortega's name attached to the project, nor did anyone expect to gain such momentum due to an older audience. But with the crippling loneliness and exhaustion from the ongoing pandemic, JATP gave us a breath of fresh air. Relief. Not only did it allow us to escape to a world of wonder and possibility, but it also told us it was okay to be sad, depressed, upset, different — anything.
They showed us teenagers acting and dressing and behaving like teenagers, they gifted us intricate choreography and stellar songs, they carefully wrote all the important relationships between the main characters, alongside the help of the actors. It was a collaborative, healthy environment and that was felt through the screen.
They introduced us to Julie, played by incredible newcomer Madison Reyes, who'll continue to be an inspiration for anyone that feels like all they can do that morning is wake up.
They gave us Luke, played by Charlie Gillespie, who shows us that one continues to live even after his death through music and love and ambition.
They gave us Alex (Owen Patrick Joyner), a stellar representation of an LGBTQ+ character that didn't fear kindness and instead used it as his power. They gave us Reggie (Jeremy Shada), reminding us to stay wondrous and hopeful, that the world isn't all that bad.
These characters and the plot were the catalyst to an avalanche of fan-created content, ranging from fanart, fanfics, fanmusic, fanvideos, fan edits, crafts, recipes, fanzines, countless and countless of events. We've created our own friendships within the fandom and claimed the characters that fit us best. Inside jokes and drama and special tags reside in all our blogs and fanpages.
Too many creators to count, too many to thank for all their relentless creativity and input. Thank you for being kindhearted; that's all one can ask for really.
The cancellation isn't just the fault of Netflix. There are more factors at play, but I think the biggest issue is the oversaturation of streaming services in general: all pushing out original content regardless of quality, faster than ever, and so the gems slip through the cracks when it's not flashy enough. It's unfortunate, but not unsurprising. I hope shows like JATP will set a precedent though, that they'll take note of the power of an audience, especially in the age of social media, and that giving a damn can go a long way.
As for myself, I know the fandom will always live on in some ways. Because of the friends I've made, because of the literal digital footprint I've set, because it had been part of a transitional period of my life. Because there are still stories to be told. If we've learned anything from JATP, is that it's never really over, right?
Thanks for all the fandom love, fantoms.
And hey, don't ghost me!

Everything has changed | Charlie Gillespie
Pairing: Charlie Gillespie x female Reader
Word Count: 2,854
Warnings: None, just tooth-rotting fluff
Hello, lovely fantoms! 👻💞
I’ve written my first Charlie Gillespie imagine ever. It’s been a while since I’ve last written anything. Furthermore I’ve never written anything in English because it’s not my native language.
A really really big thank you goes to @bass-ic-deaky 💕
Thank you for going out of your way to not only correct my syntax and grammar but also to even writing an entire part of it and making it way more emotional! (A/N: She refined the airport scene and now it makes me cry!) 💗
I hope you enjoy it!
(It’s based on the song Everything has changed by Taylor Swift ft. Ed Sheeran)
Masterlist
Tumblr media
The first season of Julie and the Phantoms had been a huge success. It wasn’t long after for the second season to be announced. Kenny Ortega wanted to support even more young talent this time and had decided to give young songwriters a chance to write a song for the show. When (Y/N) had learned about this, she quickly had sent drafts of some of her songs to the executives in charge. (Y/N) couldn't believe it when she was invited a few weeks later to go to Vancouver to become part of the show. (Y/N) was not only allowed to attend the vocal coaching and the recordings of the songs, but also to be present during the shooting of the scenes for which she had written the song. The song was used for one of the performances of the band Julie and the Phantoms so (Y/N) hung around a lot with Madison and the boys. They all got on very well and (Y/N) liked each of them a lot. However she had to admit to herself that she had a crush on the canadian. Just a little one. Alright, maybe a big one, but she would never admit it.
(Y/N) always brought her guitar to set, so that she could play a bit in between takes. She was sitting apart from the actors, who were eating lunch, not feeling that hungry today. Not playing too loud to prevent her from disturbing anyone, (Y/N) lightly strummed her guitar strings before softly, she began to sing.
All I knew this morning when I woke
Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before
This was how (Y/N) had felt the first morning on set. She had been so nervous that she had been trembling slightly. What if the cast didn’t like her song? Even if she had been afraid, she knew that this was a unique chance. It had been a step out of her comfort zone and she had been aware that a lot of new things would be coming her way.
And all I've seen since 18 hours ago
Is green eyes and freckles
And your smile in the back of my mind making me feel like
The first time her eyes had met the ones of the young actor (Y/N) couldn’t stop thinking about him. From day one Charlie had been incredulously nice to her, trying to make her feel comfortable on set. He had made sure to let her know how much he liked the song she had written for the show. At the end of the first day she had gone home with a big smile on her face, thought of Charlie clouding her mind.
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
(Y/N) had wanted to know more about him. And with every new bit of information she got from him about himself, her interest only grew and her heart beat faster and faster.
Suddenly, someone sat down next to her. She looked up, slightly startled. Charlie chuckled “Sorry, didn’t mean to startle you. That sounded really good.” He complimented her with a wide smile. (Y/N) felt her cheeks turning crimson. “Is it yours? That song I mean.” He asked curiously.
(Y/N) nodded, hoping that Charlie hadn’t heard much of the lyrics. “Yeah, but it’s not finished yet. I can't seem to get any further from there.” She sighed.
“I could help you!” The young actor offered joyfully, as he quickly took the last bite of his pizza before wiping his hands as he turned to her.
“Uhm, you don’t have to.” (Y/N) nervously answered, feeling her face heat up further. She knew her feelings were unreciprocated and working with him on a song would only make things worse.
“Come on, it’ll be fun!” Charlie smiled brightly at her.
She paused, taking in his bright smile and the sincerity within his eyes. “Okay, fine.” (Y/N) gave in.
“Play the beginning again.” Charlie requested. (Y/N) took a deep breath, hoping the actor also won’t notice that it was about him. She started to play the song from the beginning and slowed to a stop at the same spot she did before. Charlie looked thoughtfully at her. “Hmmm, okay. So if I got this right, it’s a love song, right?” He asked her. (Y/N) nodded shyly. “Well, if you tell a story about two people meeting for the first time, why not go on from there? May I?” He pointed at the guitar. (Y/N) gave it to him relieved he didn’t catch up on her feelings for him yet. Slowly the actor started to play a few chords until he settled for a melody fitting the one she had played before.
Cause all I know is we said hello
His eyes met hers, a big smile forming on his lips.
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
He slowly came to a stop, unable to think of the next line. (Y/N) hoped he would just never stop singing to her. “What do you think of that?” Charlie interrupted her thoughts.
(Y/N) cleared her throat, shaking out her thoughts. “It sounds really good.” She complimented with a smile. “Could you maybe start again and this time end with G?” She asked him. Charlie nodded and started to play and sing the same part again he had just made up.
'Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
Everything has changed
(Y/N) sang when Charlie played the G-chord. He looked up at her surprised. “Wow, this is amazing! The line is so fitting! Everything has changed, (Y/N) you’re a genius!” He exclaimed with a grin that stretched from ear to ear.
(Y/N) giggled, happy that Charlie liked it. “Thanks, Charlie.” She smiled brightly at him. With a nod Charlie started to play again.
All I know was you held the door
(Y/N) suggested, still remembering when Charlie had held the big doors that led inside the massive building with all the sets inside open for her. Charlie nodded encouraging her to continue but the words that almost left her lips next were too much. Instead Charlie continued, eyes never leaving hers.
And you'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed
He finished the chorus. Shocked, (Y/N) looked at him with big eyes. It was like Charlie had read her thoughts. But he couldn’t have. He was just trying to write a love song. He couldn’t feel the same about her! They just stared into each other’s eyes. A soft smile was forming on Charlie’s lips, so contagious that when it made any panic she felt go away, she had to smile herself. They were really having a moment, but all moments must come to an end. “We need you two on set again.” Kenny informed them from across the room. Charlie nodded at Kenny and rose from his spot next to her. The actor held out his hand for her. “You good to go?” He asked her. (Y/N) nodded and took his hand following him into the halls where they were filming the next scene.
Soon, it was (Y/N)’s last day on set. The scene in which her song was sung had been recorded. She said her goodbyes to everyone, one by one. “We have something for you!” Madison smiled at her. “So that you won’t forget us.” She gave (Y/N) a small box. Carefully, (Y/N) opened it. Inside was a necklace with a small pendant, which looked like a dahlia.
Tears were forming in (Y/N)’s eyes as she looked up at the cast, all grinning widely at her. “Thank you all so much for everything!” She hugged each of them goodbye. Charlie had insisted on taking her to the airport. They slowly walked through the halls, taking their time, wanting to spend every moment they had left with each other. Slowly, (Y/N) turned to face him when they arrived at security, as far as Charlie could go with her. A small sad smile was visible on his lips. “I’m gonna miss you.” (Y/N) admitted shyly.
Immediately she was pulled into a tight hug. “I’m gonna miss you more.” Charlie mumbled quietly into the crook of her neck. Slowly they pulled back from the hug, Charlie’s hands were still firmly situated around her waist, sending an electric jolt through her body. They looked deeply into each other’s eyes, each sparkling with a certain emotion neither could place. (Y/N) felt her heart pounding wildly as she saw his eyes flick downward. Did she just witness his gaze wander to her lips? No, that must’ve been her imagination. There was no way he liked her like that, but even still there was no denying the chemistry between them, the magnetism that pulled them toward one another. He was all she could see. (Y/N) could’ve stayed there forever with Charlie. Even as people hustled about the pair, all shouting, all rushing to catch their planes, it felt as though they were the only two people in the world. It was just them in their moment of pure bliss. All that mattered in this moment was Charlie, and him alone. She felt her heart speed up as she subconsciously found herself, just as Charlie had, leaning in closer to the actor. They were well and truly going to share a moment. But all moments must come to an end. “Flight AA73 will be boarding at gate 77 in forty-five minutes.” A voice came over the loudspeaker announcing details of her flight, effectively breaking their bubble of bliss.
“Your flight is going to depart soon, too.” He sighed, offering her a crooked smile. She nodded, a pang of sadness radiating through her chest. Slowly and reluctantly, he let her go, hands lingering on her for as long as physically possible, so she could go through security. As she neared the metal detectors (Y/N) turned around one last time to see the brunette still standing there. Her (e/c) gaze caught his. He offered her one last grin, sadness barely evident on his face as he waved. She returned the smile, returning a small wave before she disappeared from his sight. During her flight, (Y/N) tried to keep her mind busy, trying with great effort to not think about Charlie. Reading a book, watching a movie, listening to music, none of it helped. Her thoughts always returned to the brunette actor and that sweetly goofy grin of his. Every time she closed her eyes he was there, preventing her from falling asleep.
Once (Y/N) got home, she put her suitcases in a corner before flopping down on her bed. Tiredly, she looked at her phone, which showed that she had received several messages. “Hope your flight was good and that you arrived home safely. Can’t wait to see you again!” Madi had sent her. Owen and Jeremy also had sent her messages, but one particular  message caught her eyes.
Come back and tell me why
I'm feeling like I've missed you all this time
Her heart was pounding so quickly, it felt as though it would jump out of her chest at any moment. Did Charlie maybe feel the same way? It was hopeless even if he did, she would probably never see him again. Only if she visited him or the other way around. Such a meeting would come about in a few weeks. Until then, (Y/N) could only dream of at that moment.
Once they finished the filming of season two, Charlie was back in Los Angeles. He immediately called her. “Hey, how have you been?” He asked her excitedly.
“Good so far. Missing the time on set though.” She replied, glad to hear his voice again.
“We missed you, too!” He told her, a smile tugging on his lips. “I missed you.” He added quickly after. “I actually missed you so much that I might’ve bought a ticket for you to come visit me in LA, you know, because you said you’ve never been.”
“You did what?” She asked in disbelief.
“Yeah, I’m gonna send it to you. And...now it should be in your e-mail.” She could hear his smile through the phone. (Y/N) opened up her mailbox and sure enough, there was a message from Charlie.
“You’re crazy!” She exclaimed.
The boy on the other end of the line laughed. “See you in three days!”
Los Angeles was great but spending time with Charlie was even better. (Y/N) had planned to stay at least a week so they had enough time together. Charlie first had shown her around his neighbourhood, taking her around all his old haunts. They had been to the beach together and had eaten at all of his favourite restaurants and cafes. But what she adored most about her trip was doing ordinary, usually mundane tasks together like cooking or watching a movie in the evening or even just jamming out a bit. Sometimes (Y/N) thought that this was how it would be to be in a relationship with him. “I’m going to run to the grocery store real quick.” He informed her one evening. (Y/N) was sitting on his couch scrolling through Netflix, trying to find a movie they could watch later. She nodded. “Do you need anything?” He asked her. (Y/N) shook her head. “Okay, I’m gonna hurry. Don’t do something stupid while I’m gone!”
(Y/N) giggled softly. “Shouldn’t I saying that to you? You’re the chaotic one.”
Charlie laughed. “Yeah yeah, I know. Be back soon.” He said while closing the door. (Y/N) huffed, not able to find a film they could watch. She decided to wait for Charlie to come back so that they could choose one together. She reached for her guitar she specifically brought to play together with Charlie. Softly she began to sing.
'Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
Everything has changed
All I know was you held the door
And you'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday
Is everything has changed
Come back and tell me why
I’m feeling like I’ve missed you all this time
And meet me there tonight
Let me know that it’s not all in my mind
When Charlie had sent her the message she couldn’t get it out of her head for days so she decided to include it in the song. (Y/N) was so engrossed that she hadn't heard the front door open. Charlie was already back and standing behind her. “Did you finish the song? I thought we wanted to finish it together! And was that the message I sent you when you went back home?” He rambled with a furrowed brow.
(Y/N) turned to look at him with wide eyes, her cheeks taking a faint shade of red. “Charlie I - “ She began.
The actor took a seat next to her. “Why did you put it in the song? I mean it fits the entire love story thing because it sounds like a confession but…” He trailed off as he realised what he had said, his eyes grew wide. He had the feeling that he might have just admitted how he felt towards her. His cheeks turned crimson.
“Wait….are you - “ (Y/N) cleared her throat, which suddenly felt quite dry. “Are you saying you like me?” She asked, the hope inside of her started to grow. Maybe he did feel the same way after all.
“No! Charlie quickly exclaimed. Suddenly (Y/N)’s eyes grew sad. “I mean...maybe…” The actor quickly back peddled. “What if I am?” He nervously rubbed his neck.
“Well, uhm…” (Y/N) nervously fumbled with her hair “If you are then I would too…maybe… even though I don’t really have to because the entire song is one, I guess.” She shyly shrugged.
Charlie`s eyes grew wide “Wait...are you saying the song is about me? About us?” A big smile formed on his lips. (Y/N) nodded slowly making Charlie sighed, absolutely relieved. “May I?” He pointed to the guitar. She nodded handing it to him. He took it from her and placed it on the ground. (Y/N) looked confused at him. “It would have been in the way.” Charlie explained quietly as he gently grabbed her face, pulled her close to meet him in a soft, tender kiss.
Slowly they detached from one another, each smiling brighter than the other. (Y/N) chuckled “I can’t believe you feel the same!”.
“Well, I thought I let you know that it’s not all in your mind.” He quoted her.
(Y/N) laughed. “What do you think?” Charlie picked up her guitar and gave it to her.
He reached behind him where his guitar lay and placed it in his hands. “Should we play the song again? Together?” (Y/N) nodded joyfully. She took a deep breath, still trying to register what just had happened. Charlie smiled softly at her “You good to go?”

I'm dropping a timeline of my South Park town in the Sims lmao (this is messy as FUCK btw and just drabble so-- reader beware //of my brain nonsense)
So I started by creating the boys and their families and then I quit playing for like a month (because doing all that work was just too much xD)
But I had all of the boys start out as children and I wanted to build there relationships from there. (as of now I have not made the girls other than Wendy and Bebe)
I dunno how most of y'all be playing the Sims but I have a story running thru my head throughout all of it and that's what makes it so fun for me xD My roommate can't relate
Anyways
After I got finished building everyone's relationships* ALL WITHOUT CHEATING BY THE WAY- I was able to play as Craig and Tweek, which I wanted to do in the first place.
I decided not to force age my sims and the save file is set for the sims to have a normal lifespan while the seasons are 7 [sim] days long. So essentially, I would have to play for 56 days of the boys as children. Or 8 sim weeks/ 2 sim years.
I dunno if y'all have ever waited for your sims to age up naturally BUT HOLY WORDS IT IS AGONIZING.
But I wasn't going to give up. For a while, I played solely as Tweek. He was a straight A student, he joined the scouts and earned all of this badges. He completed 2 out of 4 aspirations for children (Rambunctious Scamp and the Creative one) and by the time he aged up he had mastered the piano skill and had written and published a song.
Craig kept up in school even better than Tweek. He would do extra credit work and was mastered in the logic skill before he aged up. He had completed 3 of the 4 aspirations. Rambunctious scamp, Social Butterfly, and the Whiz Kid.
I spent most of the time playing as Craig and Tweek and didn't really play with the other characters that much, but lemme tell you, it's really cool to have all the boys playing at the park at the same time. And when they would come home from school it would be like: "Craig wants to invite over classmate Token, is that okay?" and I was just like :D
I was able to do a little with Kenny, he was doing okay in school, but due to poor living conditions was never really happy. I got him a dog that's agressive and runs away a lot, so I felt like that built him up into what he is now.
WHICH BRINGS ME TO
The Teen Years**
this is where I am currently. Everyone is aged up except for uh, Clyde - Butters - Token - Eric. (they'll age up in few more [sim] days)
So immediately, as they aged up, Craig and Tweek hit it off. They are in a relationship... kind of. (more on this later)
Craig is a lifeguard afterschool and keeps up his A grade. He's also really into fitness and works out alllll the time. He is obsessed with Tweek, he loves him to death. He's got pictures of the two of them together all over the house.
Tweek on the other hand enjoys writing and playing music. He also keeps up his grades but he's not as meticulous with it as Craig is. Craig gave Tweek a promise ring and now Tweek is promised to him.
This is where things get a little interesting on my end---
I got a little bored playing with Tweek and Craig and their loving committed relationship (call it the Gemini in me) and I went to play Kenny (unrelated but he is a major comfort character of mine).
Kenny is a serial romantic. What can I say, the guy likes to have a good time. SO I have Kenny run over to Stan's house and they start dating. Kenny leaves Stan's house and run's into Tweek and they start FLIRTING.
Out of curiosity, I had Kenny ask Tweek if he was in a relationship and Tweek said NO. So Kenny saw an open window and climbed in- BAM he and Tweek start dating too. Everything is on the DL of course.
Meanwhile, Kenny is teaching himself how to sing. He practices a lot in public, which gets him FAMOUS. So now he's a famous person who flirts with anything that moves.
But the way I see it is, yes, Kenny flirts a lot. He is a bird you can't keep in a cage, but he will always come back home. And to Kenny, that home is Stan. How does Stan feel about it? Well I imagine that when Stan finds out JUST HOW MANY PEOPLE Kenny has been with, he's not going to like it very much. Especially since one of those people is Tweek, one of Kenny's closest friends.
HOWEVER like I said, Kenny is a bird and his home is Stan. Kenny loves Stan a lot and I imagine that when Stan find out about everything Kenny has been doing behind his back, they will break up and go their separate ways. But when they get older, and Kenny is ready to settle down, he'll seek out Stan and see if they wanna try things again. We'll cross that bridge when we come to it-
I've got big plans for Butters, however. He adores the shit out of Kenny, and I imagine when Butters' ages up he'll be Kenny's new "home" for a while. But we all know Butters deserves better so, I'm gonna have to find a way to give him a happy arc at some point.
--I'll come back and update this later--

“Papa Wolf”: Part 2: Benicio del Toro: SugarDaddy Wolf x PS Reader
Tumblr media
Benicio del Toro Fic/Imagine.
---------------------------
Saturday came quicker than I would've liked and as I sat there on my bed staring in my closet... I cursed myself for it.
Still wrapped in a towel after saturating my entire body in whipped body butter ... I glowered at my clothes.
What was I supposed to wear?
I don't know why I was fretting so much.
I'd done this before but something about this was different.
No.  No it wasn't.
Don't go down that alley.
He's just another older guy looking to spend his time and money.
I needed to stop looking at him like the unreasonably attractive creature he was and start looking at him like a paycheck.
Eventually, I decided on something simple yet sexy.
Form fitting enough to show off my curves but not so much as to reveal myself to be the true whore I am.
A black dress and leggings with matching boots and a coat.
A moonstone crystal necklace thrown on at the last second before I ordered my Uber.
I was just finishing my makeup when I got the alert that my ride was less than a minute away so I got it together and was stepping out the door when the car pulled up.
I made quick work of getting settled and getting on route.
Thankfully I didn't have an overly chatty driver and she blissfully just turned the music on and let me stare out the window.
When we arrived at the resteraunt I paid her and headed for the front.
Benicio had told me to tell them I had a reservation for Sanchez and that they'd bring me right through.
I felt so weird as I followed the waitress  through but eventually she lead me all the way to the back of the establishment and up a set of stairs to a balcony like dining area.
A smaller and nicer area that did, admittedly, have a stunning view.
I made about two steps before my eyes settled on him and I damn near lost the ability to function.
The light illuminated his features and he looked like heaven wrapped in a bow.
He seemed to notice the intrusion and glanced over at the waitress and I as we neared.
His lips pulled up into a smile as he stood to greet me.
"Hello, sweetheart." He said and my eyes just about rolled back into my head right there.
Damn him.
He leaned down to kiss my cheek before pulling out my chair for me and then settling down himself.
"What could I get you to drink?" asked the waitress.
"Water, please." I said.
"Do you know what you'd like to order or should I give you two a moment?" she asked glancing between the two of us before her eyes settled on me.
I shrugged and glanced at him, "I don't know.  What's good? I've never been before."
She settled a hand on my shoulder, "I could always give you a moment to look the menu over and come back.  It'll be no problem."
"I'll have my usual." he said to the waitress before producing a menu to me and pointing something out.  "This is excellent if you like that kind of thing."
"Sounds good." I said and off she went though not before casting a smile my way.
I lifted an eyebrow at the situation but let it go.
Benicio chuckled and my eyes snapped to his.
"What?" I asked.
"Nothing." he said. "I just should've known you'd charm the waitress."
"It wasn't my intention." I shrugged. "However, if I results in excellent service and hot food...I'm not really complaining."
He grinned at my comment and reached out to take my hand.
"I'm really happy we could do this." he said. "Which reminds me."
He stopped to dig in his jacket pocket for a moment before producing a small black box and sliding it across the table.
"For your time." he said with a small smile. "I hope you like it."
I opened the little box up to find a rather stunning little necklace.
A beautiful silver number with some sort of crystal in the shape of a leaf.
I didn't want to say diamond but considering the situation...it likely was.
"Would you?" I asked holding it out to him and he smiled before coming to stand behind me.
I watched as his hands came into view before his fingers lightly dusted my collarbone as he fastened it into place.
"How does it look?" I asked as he took his seat again.
"Almost as lovely as you." he said, his hazel eyes boring right through me.
"Thank you." I said. "I love it."
We chatted idly about random unimportant things for a bit while we waited for our food.
Soon enough it came and we ate in 'comfortable' silence.
Comfortable for him probably.
For me, I felt like my heart was in my throat.
I had to tell myself.
Get it together, girl.  This is just business.   You have done this before.
One glance at him showed me that he was a little nervous as well and for whatever reason...I just relaxed.
"So, tell me about your day." I said with an easy smile.  "Anything interesting?"
I didn't notice before that his shoulders were holding the tension until I could visibly see it fall off him.
An easy sort of smile laced his lips as he said, "Finally meeting with you has been the highlight of it."
I turned on the charm, complete with a little smile and a head tilt.
"Aww.  That's so sweet." I said sweetly.
"What about you?" He asked curiously.
"This meal right here." I answered truthfully and punctuated it with another delicious bite of bread to my mouth.
I made it a point to let my lips linger a second longer on the tip of my finger.
When his eyes followed the movement and stared at my lips just a bit too long... I knew I had him.
At least on the physical part anyway.
For whatever reason, it gave me the confidence and reassurance to do whatever I needed to do.
I turned up the charm and soon enough his face was alight with laughter and he seemed to be thoroughly enjoying himself.
Not long after, a couple of hours had passed and I knew what I had to do.
Close it off and leave him wanting more.
No sense in giving my time away before we arranged an agreement.
"This has been so fun. Thank you for such a lovely date." I said. "However, I think it's time for me to go."
Dissappointment was clear on his face and he spoke up, "Oh, really?  We could always go for a little shopping trip."
I hid my smirk and replaced it with a smile.
I had him.
I knew it.
He knew it.
Anyone who looked at us knew it.
"As tempting as that sounds, I'm afraid I'll have to pass for now." I said.
Rule number one with Sugar Daddies.
You're time is valuable and there is no reason to give them the impression that it's free.
Shopping trip or not, your time is money and without a pre-determined agreement... you're basically giving it away.
You're priceless- remember that.
"Alright." he said with a little smile.  "As long as it's just for now."
I gave him my most charming smile and kissed his cheek when we stood from the table.
He paid the ticket and tipped generously before slipping a few bills into my hand.
"For your cab fair." he said.  "For now and for earlier."
I smiled at him softly and pecked his cheek again, "Thank you."
"And you know, something a little extra." he smirked. "Get yourself something nice and I can't wait until I see  you again."
With that, he kissed my cheek and I left him with the scent of me lingering.
Leave on a good note and get the hell out of there.
As I stepped inside my ride, I grinned to myself.
"Where to, Miss?" the driver asked.
I glanced up and then down at the money in my hand.
He'd given me way more than cab fair and hey- a bitch has bills.
"Farmer's market." I said.
Hey, a bitch had to eat.
With a small smile to myself, I began internally laugh at my own insecurities.
If I couldn't do anything else in life...I could pull a hustle.
