Legend Lake: Chapter 2
Charlie Gillespie X Fem!Reader
Summary: You bring your boyfriend of three years with you to your grandparents lake house for the first time.
Warnings: None that I know of.
Inspo: Miggie Snyder's song Legend Lake.
A/n: I gave everyone in your family names just because I wanted so... Yeah.
You paced around the living room. You haven't brought a boy to meet your family since high school. This was big. Sure you felt like you knew Charlie was your soul mate but how would your family react to the Canadian.
"Angel?" Charlie asked walking in with Koa on his leash. He just came back from taking him for a walk.
"Hey! Did you see their cars?"
"I don't know what their cars look like." He laughed before peeking out the window. "There's a truck outside."
"Okay... Let's just wait inside until they all are here." You said pacing more. Charlie sighed and walking over to you while your back was turned before warping his arms around you stopping you from pacing.
"Angel you told me that they liked me."
"Yeah but... What if that changes? They haven't met one of my boyfriends since high school!" You whined.
"Okay love birds! We're bringing a baby in stop being lovey-dovey." Was hollered before the door opened. Your cousin, Dale stared at you two for a second taking in the fact Charlie was holding you in such a way that you couldn't move your arms and you were whining at him. "What the hell is happening?"
"She was pacing I had to stop her." Charlie explained.
"She's been doing that since she could walk." Dale laughed as Charlie let go of you. "Theo got a flat, aunt Gloria and uncle Johnny are going to help them so they'll be here a bit late."
"That happens every year." You laughed giving him a hug. "I missed you Dale. Now where's your wife and the baby?" You asked.
"She's changing his diaper." Dale explained. "So you must be Charlie?" He looked the younger man up and down.
"Yeah! And this is koa!" Charlie picked up the puppy that was at his feet.
"He's so cute." Dale cooed.
"Yeah." Charlie agreed.
"I've been wanting a dog... But My wife said no." Dale laughed petting the puppy.
"Dale! I said no because we just had a baby when you came up with the stupid idea." Camilla, his wife walked in. She had long black hair with beautiful green eyes. In her arms was a baby carrier.
"Aww! I've been waiting to meet this little bugger for a while!" You squealed looking down at the 7 month old. "Hi there Carter." You cooed.
"She has always loved babies." Dale whispered to your boyfriend.
"Oh hello there! This is Carter." Camilla smiled. Everyone knew his name and have talked to him this is just the first time anyone in your family has in real life.
"He's adorable." Charlie said.
"He gets that from me." Dale smirkeed.
"You wish." Camilla laughed.
Charlie was nervous watching the last two cars pull up, he already met your brother Gavin, his girlfriend Aubrey, your aunt Beth, Uncle Mike, and your grandparents but your parents, sister, brother and his fiance. Meeting the parents always makes him nervous.
"Oh boy look how nervous he is." Gavin whispered to you. You glared at your older brother before turning about to your boyfriend.
"Char babe come here." You urged. Charlie looked at you.
"Yeah?" He gave you an anxious smile.
"Sit down your staring out the window like a creep." Aubrey said crossing her arms. Charlie looked offended but listened taking a seat next to you.
The door opened and Theo was walking in. You stood up running to give him a hug. You haven't seen him since last summer because you couldn't afford a plane ticket for Thanksgiving, and you spent Christmas with Charlie's family.
"Theodore!" You said.
"Y/n!" He smiled hugging you back. He looked over your shoulder looking at your boyfriend. Charlie gave a nervous smile and small wave. "I missed you. How have you been?"
"Good. Come here." You pulled him over to where Charlie was sitting. "You know Charlie."
"Yeah." Theo nodded. "Nice to finally meet you in person."
"You two." Charlie shook his hand.
"Theo! You left me in the truck!" His fiance said coming in glaring at him .
"Oh... Baby I'm so sorry." He began before your parents and little sister walked in, with their dog Maggie.
"Mom! Dad!" You smiled at them giving them hugs.
"Hello Hunny." Your mom smiled. "And your must be Charlie! Give me a hug!" You laughed hugging your dad.
"Okay, where's the boy?" Your dad asked. Charlie stepped next to you and smile.
"Hi! I'm Charlie."
"Hi Charlie, I'm John."
"Nice to meet you."
"Okay whatever, y/n!" Your little sister hugged you smiling.
"Hey, Charlotte!" You hugged her back.
"I've been dying to meet you in person!" She said after the hug was over.
"Really?" Charlie asked.
"Not you! Him." She squealed picking Koa up.
"That's fair." Charlie shrugged.
"Oh hi." Charlotte smiled at your boyfriend. "I like your dog more then you."
"So do I." You said petting Koa.
"Huh?" Charlie looked offended.
"Don't worry she's a liar." Gavin assured.
"Oh okay." Charlie smiled slightly.
"I'm not lying this time."

i've had this in my drafts for weeeeeeeeks but i thought i hadn't finished it but here we are, finished. yay look at me posting.
let me know what you think pweeeaaaase💛
She walked the halls of the warehouse where more than a thousand people were. She could hear music and she could hear girls screaming the band’s name. She was pretty sure the other night someone had thrown a condom along with their bra on stage. Let’s just say she kept them both.
“Are y’all good with your drinks?” She shouted to a group of kids she recognized from class and tried to be heard over the music. The group of young adults nodded, she smiled and kept walking.
She played hostess for another few minutes before she caught sight of her friends who had decided to accompany her at the last minute.
“Well hello ladies!” She jumped on Tracy’s back and the brunette screamed.
“Jesus fuck Liv you cannot do that here!” Olivia smiled and kissed her friend’s cheek before they kept walking to the bar.
Two bands were playing that night; Resurrection Curse and Sunset Curve. The first band was really good, she had to admit it but she knew most people came to see the latter. She sat on a couch that was near the bar she worked at and at the same time she saw Reggie and Alex, she felt a warm weight on her. Automatically, her arms wrapped around him and she pressed a kiss to his naked shoulder.
“Hi, rockstar.” she said against his skin and Luke grabbed her hands and kissed the back of them. He let his head fall back on his girlfriend’s shoulder and he sighed. “Y’all stressed for tonight? Kind of a big crowd.” she smiled up at them.
“Not really, we’re just gonna have fun I think.” Alex nodded at Reggie’s words and Olivia’s heart melted at the bassist's smile.
“You know you’re cute, right Peters?” she asked him and a blush overcame his face which made them laugh.
“Stop it, you’re gonna make him implode.” she heard Luke’s voice in her ear and she chuckled.
Justine, Carmen and Tracy joined them, all three with drinks in hand.
“Boys?” Carmen said, handing them their drinks. “Those are for the Patterson’s.” she said as she handed them two mocktails. The couple thanked her before the band started playing another song.
“How are things going tonight, girls? Tips are good?” Alex asked and they nodded.
“Yeah, already made over a hundred bucks.”
“Oh my god!” Olivia suddenly said and she pinched her boyfriend’s stomach to get him to sit up, so she could too. “Did you guys serve that group, I think they’re like six or eight, near the stage? There’s one like in a neon jacket?” she asked and Justine nodded while the rest shook their heads. “Okay, well this guy he’s about our age, I think, kept trying to get me to stay with them and stuff.”
“Yeah, he kept giving me more money to “get myself something to drink”. Like my dude, I already drink for free.” Justine commented and they cheered.
Olivia knew they had lost Luke a little while ago, he hadn’t said or done anything other than play with her fingers for the past few minutes. Pressing a kiss to the back of his neck she rubbed his arms.
“You okay, there?” he nodded. “Would you mind if we switched places? It’s just that my boyfriend’s playing tonight and I’d really love to still breathe and be alive when he goes on.” she teased him and she could feel his whole body shake with laughter.
“Yeah, let me just-” he said before literally rolling off of her and landing on the floor. He sat next to her and brought her on his knees. “Better?” he asked as he kissed her neck.
“I’d say -huh, yeah.” she smiled.
Their friends’ eyes were on them and while some were smiling at the display of affection, Justine was frowning.
“Not that I don’t love you guys, because I totally do but like, a lot of us are single right now and seeing you being all cute and shit just, doesn’t do it for me.” she joked. Luke winked at them before pressing kisses on Liv’s neck, the dark blonde just laughed and pushed him away.
“Stop it! We’re in public.” she giggled. He whispered something in her ear and in a few seconds, her skin turned a bright red and her eyes became perfect circles.
“I don’t even want to know.” The redhead said with disgust and walked away to get more drinks.
“Oh no J! Don’t be like that! I can give you kisses if you want. Let’s go back to my car!” Olivia said loudly which earned her a few looks from the other adults.
The first band was halfway through their second to last song, Luke slipped his hand underneath the tee-shirt she was wearing and rubbed her skin.
“We should go, we’re up in a little while.”
“Yeah okay.” she said and she stood up, bringing him with her. She grabbed his chin and made him look at her. “You be good, Patterson.” she repeated the same words she’d been telling him for the past few years. He puckered his lips and she pressed a kiss to them.
“Dude! C’mon!” Alex called and with a little whine, Olivia pushed him away gently.
“I love you!” he shouted when he was pulled away.
Olivia sighed, a feeling of contentment and happiness feeling her whole body. She went back to work when he was out of sight. Grabbing empty glasses, picking up trash, filling up glasses.
“Thank you guys, for being here tonight!” she heard from the stage looking at Reggie who was smiling brightly. “We hope you like our songs!”
“We’re Sunset Curve,” Luke said in the mic.
“Tell your friends!” The crowd shouted back at them and all three looked at each other, happiness written all over their faces.
Olivia put her fingers in her mouth and whistled just as Luke started the first few chords of their newest song. She danced along with the other teens and young adults in the open space, she stopped her movements from time to time to serve or help people. Halfway through their set, while she had been drying some dishes, she saw Luke jump off stage as Alex and Reggie were the main vocals on this song. He looked straight at her with a breathtaking smile that was entirely his and he stopped in front of the bar where she worked. She noticed in the corner of her eye people getting their recording devices out and filming them. He serenaded her for half of the song before kissing her cheek and going back on stage, jumping and dancing around while having the time of his life with his friends.
“Again! Thank you guys so much for being here, our album’s at the table in the back where the beautiful lady is with her very good looking friends! There’s also our friends’ demo for half the price.” Luke said in the mic, out of breath.
People cheered and asked for more, again and again and at each gig they were able to book the crowd seemed to love them. He ran off stage, along with Alex and Reggie.
“Oh my god! Guys that was amazing!” Justine shouted as Reggie picked her up and spinned her around. “I really freaking loved that crowd! Just the vibe was immaculate and you were on fire! And the albums are selling really well.” she pointed towards Olivia and Carmen who were working in the very occupied booth.
“Did you guys have fun?” Reggie asked the girl and she nodded.
They kept talking while people were clearing out, another group arrived for another event that was held later in the night and started to set up while music blared from the speakers.
On their way out, the group grabbed Olivia who was talking to the other group playing that night. Luke wrapped an arm around her shoulders before pressing a wet kiss to her cheek.
“Hey dude!” The lead guitarist of Resurrection Curse greeted him with a handshake.
“We should do this more often!” Luke smiled and nodded. “It’s crazy playing with you guys. I really hope we can do this again sometime! But right now, we gotta go!”
“Alright! Y’all have a good night, now!”
They both waved him off and when they walked towards their friends, Luke pressed his face in her hair, leaving a few light kisses to her jaw.
“Thank you for tonight.” he whispered in her ear and she just kissed his cheek in return. Luke grabbed his guitar from Reggie while Alex carried his big suitcase full of the equipment they needed that night.
“C’mon rockstar, let’s go home.”
Luke got out of the car first, holding the door open for his girlfriend which he closed right after she stood next to him. He bent down and rested against the passenger’s side window frame.
“Sure you don’t feel like joining us?”
“Nah, we’re good. Gonna go relax for the rest of the night.” he pointed to Olivia who was barely able to keep her eyes open.
“We’ll be at the house if you ever feel like it.”
“Yeah! See you later!” he waved them off, the five friends driving to the band’s house they rented together.
Luke turned towards the brick building where Olivia lived with the girls.
“I still don’t understand why you don’t want to move in with us.” Luke chuckled as he led them inside the dorm building.
“I like having my Sunset Curve free space.” she whispered when they entered the building. “Maybe you’re the one that should come and live with us!”
“And leave Alex with Reggie? No way, one of them would be dead by the end of the week and we already got too close to death.”
“Oh yeah, the tainted hotdog from ninety-five.” she laughed when they arrived on her floor.
“You’re laughing but I remember how relieved you were when you found out we weren’t really dead.” he winked at her. “Oh Luke, I thought I had lost you forever!”
“You’re such an ass, Patterson.” she frowned, unlocked and opened the door. “I can’t believe you keep throwing that in my face.”
“Bringing up the hotdogs means me bringing up how much you love me.” he mocked and she let herself fall back down on her bed once they had gotten to her room.
“Your sorry ass is gonna be sleeping on the couch.” she whispered as she rubbed her eyes from exhaustion. He gasped and fell on her, his face nuzzling in her neck as he kissed the warm skin there.
“No, baby, baby. I’m sorry. Please let me sleep with you.” he said in a baby voice and she shook her head as she tried to hide her laughs. He clung to her, letting all of his weight drape her like a heavy comforter.
“Aren’t you tired after tonight?” she brushed a few strands of hair away from his eyes before petting his hair. His head had found a place on her breasts and his eyes were almost fluttering shut.
“Mmh, just a little bit.” he mumbled.
“That’s what I thought.” she scratched his scalp and made a disgusted noise. “You gotta shower before we go to sleep.”
“Come with me?” he asked and she kissed his head before pushing him off, grabbing clothes from her room and leaving for the bathroom.
“Wait, at least wait for me!” he said when he heard that she had already turned on the water.
The next morning, they woke up around noon, but they didn’t have much to do until later that day. So even if her body wanted to go back to bed, she moved and sat on his butt. His bare back was free for her while he slept on his stomach, light snores escaped his lips. His skin was warm while she rubbed it, a few shivers ran down his spine when she got close enough that he could feel her breathing on him, his eyes stayed shut when she pressed soft and warm kisses all over it.
“What are you doing?” he muttered and she pressed a kiss at the curve of his hips.
“Nothin’, go back to sleep.” she mumbled against his skin. A squeal left her lips when he suddenly turned around, making her straddle him properly.
“Ah, would you look at that!” he smiled and his hands fell on her thighs.
“Good morning, handsome.” she grinned and leaned forward to peck his lips.
She stayed laying on him, her arms on either side of his head as his fingers rubbed circles into her skin.
“How did you sleep?”
“Well. It was really quiet.” he answered.
“I’m telling you, you should move in with us, the girls aren’t here most of the time and-”
“Or we could get our own place.” he said seriously and she froze.
“I don’t want to freak you out or anything but we’ve been dating for a while now and I don’t know about you but apart from my six-string, baby you’re it for me.” she beamed down at him, her smile the brightest he had ever seen.
“What’s your mama gonna think?” she teased and he rolled his eyes.
“After that food poisoning incident we’ve been good.”
“I know Luke, I was there.” she chuckled and kissed him again.
His hands moved to her hips and her arms wrapped around his neck, keeping him close. She kept on kissing him, her lips trailing down his cheek, jaw, neck, collar bone and finishing on one of his pecs.
“Waffles?” she suddenly asked and he sighed, his head falling back before he nodded.
“Ok, I’ll go make waffles, don’t forget we have dinner with all four of our parents tonight.”
“Weepee! That’ll be fun.” he deadpanned before letting her off of him. His eyes went over her naked legs and she caught him before grabbing a pair of joggers that were Alex’s. She opened her room’s door and walked out, only for her to call him out a few seconds later.
“Yo, rockstar?!” she said before coming back in the door frame. “You better start looking for a new place for us soon, also, you’re the one to tell the parents. Okay, love you!” She said, he could hear her start to run in the hallway and he went after her, lifting her off the floor, pressing her between the wall and his torso.
“Are you serious?”
“Yeah,” she breathed out. “Reggie will be sad but it’s not anything he hasn-” he stopped her halfway through her sentence to crash his lips on her, hoisting her up and wrapping her legs around him.
A low whine left her lips when he started to suck on her neck. Her head fell back and he carried her back to her room, closing the door with his foot.
“Waffles can wait,” he said and she giggled.

summary: reader wakes up when she hears Charlie playing on his guitar, and she wants some morning cuddles … (8) “cuddles? pretty please?” & (9) “come to bed”
!! NOT MY GIF !!
MASTERLIST || PROMPTS LIST
As you stir from your sleep, you can hear a guitar being strummed lightly. Charlie is humming the lyrics instead of singing them since you were asleep.
The strumming stops and you open your eyes. Charlie is sitting at his little table. A guitar on his lap and a pick in his mouth. He’s writing something down.
“Good morning,” you say.
Charlie looks up at you and smiles, the pick still in his mouth. “Good morning, baby,” he says.
You hold out your arms and make grabby hands. “Come to bed,” you whine.
He chuckles and says, “I’m writing a song, Y/N.”
With a pout, you say, “But I want morning cuddles.” Charlie smiles and writes something down. “Cuddles? Pretty please?”
Your boyfriend glances up at you and sees your pout. Charlie just smiles at you and puts his pen and guitar down, taking the pick out of his mouth. He gives in and comes back to bed. “Only because you look very cute right now and I can’t resist saying no to you,” he states.
The bed dips behind you as Charlie crawls back into bed. He pulls you to him. You roll onto your side so you can snuggle against his side.
You lay your head on his chest, lazily throwing an arm over his torso. He wraps his arms around your shoulders as you intertwine your legs with his.
“What were you writing?” you ask Charlie.
Charlie smiles and says, “Just a little something. You’ll hear it soon, I promise.”
You look up at him and say, “Well, I can’t wait to hear it. I know it’s going to be amazing, just like it always is.”
He laughs and presses a kiss to your forehead. You snuggle back into his side. Charlie begins to play with your hair as you cuddle with him in bed.
Morning cuddles are always a good start to the day, and it’s your favorite thing to do when you’re just waking up.

i’m having your baby | charlie gillespie
paring: fem!reader x charlie gillespie
summary: reader plans out how she’s going to tell Charlie that she’s having his baby … (15) “i’m having your baby”
warnings: pregnancy talk
!! NOT MY GIF !!
MASTERLIST || PROMPTS LIST
It’s been a week since you took an at-home pregnancy test to confirm your suspicions. You were pregnant, and you couldn’t wait to tell Charlie.
You and Charlie have always talked about having kids one day. He’s all for having kids, just maybe not at 22-years-old. That’s the one thing that’s making you anxious about him about the positive pregnancy test.
Being the dramatic person that you are, you wanted a whole pregnancy reveal when telling Charlie. You didn’t want to hand him a stick with the word ‘pregnant’ on it. This news will change his life. You didn’t want to just hand him the positive pregnancy test.
So, what did you do instead? You went out and bought a bun. What will you do with the bun? You’re going to put it in the oven. Bun in the oven. You hope Charlie gets the reference.
Charlie is due home from work at any minute. You put the bun on a little plate and put it in the oven. The test is in the back pocket of your jeans in case he doesn’t get the reference you’re trying to make.
A key enters the door and you’re on the couch watching Station 19. The front door to the apartment you share with Charlie swings open, revealing not only Charlie but Owen, Jeremy, Booboo, and Savannah. You didn’t want to tell everyone right now because it’s so early but you guess it’ll be okay.
“Hi, baby,” Charlie says, coming up behind you and kissing your cheek. “How was your day?”
You look up at him and say, “It was okay. Um, I think I broke the oven. I took one of the rack things out and it’s stuck. I was hoping with your muscle that you could fix it?”
Charlie smiles and says, “Of course you did. Let me take care of this then we can go out to a movie with everyone.” He kisses your temple before walking into the kitchen.
As he enters the kitchen, you act completely clueless. You hear Charlie open the open door. “What?” he mumbles.
He emerges from the kitchen and asks, “Why was there a bun in the oven? It was just sitting on the plate.”
“Because I put it there,” you tell him.
Charlie asks, “Why?” You look over at Savannah and she has a huge smile on her face. She definitely understood the bun in the oven reference.
You glance back at Charlie and say, “Because I wanted the bun in the oven.”
He tilts his head, confused. Charlie says, “The oven isn’t even on. Why would you put a bun in the oven- oh.”
Hoping that he finally caught on, you get off the couch and look up at him. Charlie’s eyes are on your stomach and you ask, “You okay?”
“Are you, um, do you have a bun in the oven?” Charlie asks in response.
You pull out the positive pregnancy test out of your pocket and say, “Yes! Yes, I have a bun in the oven.”
Charlie smiles and hugs you tight around your waist. He lifts you off your feet and spins you around. You squeal in excitement, your arms secure around his neck.
Owen says, “Wow. The first dad out of all of us. Congratulations, bro.”
Even Jeremy chimes in and says, “I’m so happy for you both. Congrats.”
He sets you back down on your feet, a huge smile on his face. “You’re having my baby?” Charlie asks.
You giggle, “I’m having your baby, Charlie. It’s one hundred percent yours.”
Charlie leans down and presses a soft kiss to your lips. You lightly kiss him back for a second before you hug him again.
“We’re gonna be parents,” Charlie states. “I’m so excited to start a family with you, Y/N.”
With a smile, you say, “I’m excited to start a family with you, Charlie.”

+This Town+ Luke x Alive!Reader
(Not My Gif)
Description: Just read it.
Warnings: ANGST, um... ANGST, and ANGST. Mentions of pregnancy, mentions of death, mild swearing. Probably a lot of typos, I’m editing it, but I wrote this right when I saw the request.
Use of JATP scenes go to the producers and such, and the song that is used in this story is “This Town” by Niall Horan (I changed some of the words, and rearranged the format of it)
S/N = Sons Name
BF/N = Boyfriends Name
I cried writing this... Enjoy.
“Luke!” Y/N shrieks when he picks her up by her waist, twirling them around. “Put me down.” He chuckles, setting her down gently.
“How did we do?” he asks. “More importantly--” he clicks his tongue, “--how did I do?” Taking her hands into his, he flashes her a big smile.
She tilts her head, giving him a pointed look. “You know what I’m going to say to that.” She leans forward a little with a small smirk on her face. “You were amazing, and everyone is going to see that tonight.” She presses her lips firmly on his, him returning the gesture by cupping the side of her face to deepen it.
Though it didn’t last long, when they both pulled away the feeling still lingered. “Well, the guys and I are going to get some food, do you want to join us?” He takes a step closer to her, not being able to let her go.
“Are you guys going to that hot dog place again? The one with the car?” she questions, a look of disgust on her face. “I’ll pass.”
He puts on a big pout. “Alright,” he mumbles, disappointed. “Your appetite has been really strange lately.”
Alex quickly comes over, throwing an arm around Y/N’s shoulder. “Are you coming, or what?” he asks Luke, no doubt overhearing Y/N’s answer.
A small groan comes from Luke. “Are you sure you don’t want to come?” he repeats to Y/N. “I’m gonna miss you,” he claims.
“I’ll see you tonight, babe.” She lets out a giggle, glancing at Alex whose expression is most likely unidentifiable to Luke, but to Y/N, she knew exactly what he was thinking. “And I have something to tell you tonight.”
Luke raises an eyebrow towards her. With a glimpse towards Alex he says, “Is it good or bad?”
She purses her lips, taking a moment to come up with an answer. “Depends…”
“Well, then I’ll be counting the minutes.”
Alex moves away from the couple to give Luke space for him to kiss her left temple. “Be careful out there, alright?” She wraps her arms around him tightly.
“I will,” he promises. “You worry too much.”
She shakes her head. “Only for you.”
“I heard that!” Alex calls out.
“You know I love you too Alex,” she says. “Now go be boys, with your… Interesting food cravings.” Nudging Luke, he hesitantly walks away, holding her hand until he’s forced to let go.
“I’ll be back as soon as I can,” Luke assures.
“I’ll hold you to it!” With one last wave, they leave with no knowledge of what’s to come.
Julie sighs walking into the studio. “We’re sorry,” Reggie sings, popping out from behind Luke.
“So sorry,” Alex joins, popping out on the other side.
“We’re so super-duper, crazy, sorry,” the boys all harmonize at the end, Luke kneeling down on one knee.
“In case you missed it, we’re really sorry,” Reggie adds.
“Yeah. I… I got that part,” Julie replies, her tone short.
“We’ve been here for, like, three hours,” Alex mentions, Reggie high-fiving him.
Luke nods. “Yup.” He goes to stand up. “We almost sang to your little brother.”
“He comes in here a lot,” Reggie observed. “Mainly to use the bathroom.” He gestures behind him.
“Yeah, it’s not our favorite part of the day,” Alex explains.
“But, Julie, it wasn’t okay that we flaked out on the dance last night,” Luke joins, going back to the real problem. “We know we let you down.”
“Yeah, and none of us wanted to disappoint you,” Alex states. “You’re the best thing that’s happened to us, since we became ghosts.”
“So, in hopes that you’ll rejoin the band.” A slow smile creeps up on Luke’s face, him taking a dramatic step towards her. He hands her a piece of paper that he’s been holding. “We booked a new gig.”
“A mega important, life-changing gig,” Reggie remarks in the background.
Julie analyzes the flier. “Oh, okay, check it out. Tons of managers go here to listen to new bands,” Luke starts. “All we gotta do is blow them all away, and we’re living the dream.”
“So, this means a lot to you, huh?” Julie asks, still holding her harsh tone. “Kind of how playing in front of my whole entire school meant a lot to me?”
“Sounds like sarcasm,” Reggie says, confused. He gasps, turning to Alex. “I’m starting to think our plan isn’t working.”
“Look, we know we messed up,” Alex reassures.
“But we need you in the band,” Luke affirms.
“Of course you do,” Julie begins. “Because without me no one can see you guys playing.” She looks up towards the ceiling. “You know I thought that the music that we were writing was special, but you’re too obsessed with your past to even care,” she accuses, pointing towards Luke.
“I do care,” he argues. “Our band has a real chance at greatness, I’m not gonna let that get away from us again.”
“Uh-huh, right. So, then why did you bail on me to get back at Trevor?” she interrogates. “I’ll tell you why…” she pauses. “‘Cause there’s only one thing you care about, and that’s yourself.” She storms off, Luke following her by only a few steps.
“Dude, she didn’t mean that,” Alex asserts.
Luke looks back at him before poofing away. “Where’s he going?” Reggie asks.
“Where do you think? Remember what today is?” Alex turns towards Reggie, realization taking over his features.
Alex and Reggie both poof into Julie’s house to see her reading on the couch. “Hey… Uh, do you got a second?” Alex stuffs his hands into his pockets.
Julie sighs, not giving them a verbal response. Re-situating herself on the couch. “Oh my gosh, she can’t see us anymore!” Reggie whisper-yells. Alex gives him a blank stare, lasting for a little longer than a second. “Oh, right.” Reggie shrugs.
Alex sits on the arm of the couch. “Julie, please,” he begs.
Julie allowed herself to look up at him. “I already told you that I’m done with the band.”
“Yeah, we know, all right?” He flips his hair out of his face. “But, before you decide that forever we just… We wanted you to know that Luke isn’t as selfish as you think.”
“Yeah, you’ve got him all wrong,” Julie scoffs, shaking her head at Reggie’s statement.
“Remember those two songs you found?” Alex asks. “‘Unsaid Emily’, and ‘This Town’.” Julie nods once slowly. “Can we at least show you who one of those songs is about?”
She looks towards Reggie then back at Alex.
Soon all three of them find themselves behind a tree by a small house. They watch Luke sit on one of the counters, hugging his knees to his chest. And two older people. “So, Emily is his mom?” Julie asks.
“Yeah,” Alex confirms. “Yeah, Luke comes here a lot… He thinks we don’t know but… We’ve been following him.” They all watch Luke from afar, his red eyes as he follows the two adults walking around.
“All he does is hang out like this, and watch them,” Reggie informs. “They never really do anything though.”
The pair sets down a cake. “They’re having cake, that’s something.” Julie crosses her arms, trying to make sense of the situation.
“It’s a… It’s a birthday cake.” Reggie looks over at her. “For Luke.”
“I never knew Luke was hurting this much,” Julie admits.
“Yeah, it’s even worse because when he died he… Left on bad terms,” Alex pauses. “You know, his parents didn’t want their 17-year old in a rock band so… He just left.” He sighs. “He never got the chance to make it up to them.”
Just at that moment a silver car pulls in. Julie ducking down to hide herself. “Well, that’s new,” Reggie tries to peek over at the car to see who’s inside.
“Wait!” A woman who looked about early forties hops out from the passenger seat. “S/N get out of the car, we’re gonna miss your father’s birthday.”
“Wait a minute…” Alex stands up taller, getting a good look at the girl’s face. “It can’t be,” he whispers.
“Sorry!” S/N replies, holding his hands up in defense. “Not my fault dad gave me such good genes, they need to be taken care of.”
Y/N laughs, guiding him away from the car. “Spoken like a true Patterson.”
“Y/N?” Reggie questions.
“Y/N?” Julie repeats quietly, confused.
“The other song that you found--”
“That’s the girl from the photo.” Julie’s eyes widened, remembering.
“Who’s this?” Julie asks, showing a polaroid picture to Luke. It was him and a girl. “You look so happy in it.” She scans both of their faces, huge smiles covering them.
He looks at it, almost becoming frozen. “That’s--” he rips the photo out of her hands. “--that’s nobody,” he lies, tucking the photo back into the song book, in between two pages one of them reading what Julie caught ‘This Town’.
“Sorry, we’re late,” Y/N says, walking into the house.
Luke perks up. “Y/N?” he whispers.
Y/N’s movements falter, as she holds a hand up to her ear. “Did one of you say my name?” she asks, everyone giving her a confused glance.
“No, honey,” Emily says. Her and Mitch going over to Y/N and S/N “How are you doing today? Where’s Bf/N?” Emily asks the last part quietly.
Y/N shrugs. “Work,” she chokes out. “And…” She shrugs. “This day is always hard. Especially for S/N even if he shows it in a weird way.”
“It really is you,” Luke whispers, walking up to get as close as he could, without phasing through her. He noticed just how much she’s grown, but she was still so beautiful to him.
“Who’s the guy?” Julie asks Alex, and Reggie.
Alex’s once questionable expression drops. “I think I know.” They both look at him. He gulps slightly. “That night, we were going to play, Y/N… She was going to tell Luke that she was um…” The look on his face was enough to finish his sentence.
“Luke’s a father?!” Reggie exclaims.
“Shhh!” Julie and Alex shush him quickly before Luke could possibly hear.
“I knew, because she told me,” Alex explains. “I helped her plan out this whole thing, I went to every doctor’s appointment with her, she was so scared.” He looks at the young boy. “I almost forgot.” He furrowed his eyebrows.
“S/N Patterson, don’t you dare start eating that cake, yet,” Y/N warns. “We need to blow out the candles first.”
Luke slowly walks over to a wall of pictures, his nonexistent breath getting caught in his throat. He turns back to look at the young man who looked exactly like him. Same floppy hair, same colored eyes, it was like looking in a mirror. A tear fell down his face as he stared at the picture in front of him. The picture he dreaded to see at this time.
The picture showed Y/N and Luke on his birthday many years ago, he believed it was his fifteenth birthday, Y/N was already sixteen, but they wore matching birthday hats as the story behind the picture was so much more than them holding a guitar. The one that laid beside him was what he’d call his lucky acoustic 6-string, and it was a guitar she bought him. While she held her own.
“Teach me your ways,” Y/N jokes as she watches Luke’s riff. “How are you so good?”
He shrugs. “C’mon, I’ll show you ‘my ways’,” he mocks her voice, retrieving a giggle from her. “So, put your pointer finger there.” She does so. “Then your middle finger there, and then your ring finger here.” She begins to struggle. “Hold on.” He sets down his guitar, making sure it doesn’t fall. Gently taking her hand into his, he guides her fingers to place correctly on the strings. “There you go…” He smiles at her, both realizing how close they were to each other.
“You two, say ‘cheese’! Emily holds up the camera, both of them snapping out of their daze.
A soft sound of a guitar fills his ears, as he recalls the lyrics he wrote not too long ago. “Waking up to kiss you and nobody's there, the smell of your perfume still stuck in the air… It's hard,” he begins to sing. It felt like time stopped moving for him, making sure to soak in every photo. “Yesterday I thought I saw your shadow running 'round, it's funny how things never change in this old town… So far… From the stars.” Going slower when a small boy starts to appear. “And I want to tell you everything, the words I never got to say the first time around… And I remember everything, from when we were the children playing in this fairground… Wish I was there with you now…” Coming to an abrupt halt when he sees a birth certificate S/N Lucas Patterson.
He turns around to watch the girl he loved, dance with a boy he had never met, but felt like he knew forever. Music softly playing in the background.
“If the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you, drive highways and byways to be there with you. Over and over the only truth… Everything comes back to you… Mmmmm.” He slowly walks back towards his family. It was clear Y/N and S/N found the light in the situation, Y/N telling stories from the past.
“What about the story of how you two made me?” S/N suggests.
Y/N scoffs whacking S/N in the arm. “I swear--gets his mouth from his father.” This causes a chuckle from everyone. “Such a troublemaker,” she murmurs.
“So, when are you and BF/N getting married? I swear you two have been engaged forever,” Mitch says.
Y/N looks down at her engagement ring, biting her lip. “Um…” She slowly slides it off her finger. “Don’t know.” She sets it in her bag.
“I wonder if you moved on with someone new, in the places that we kissed with his arms around you… It's so hard… So hard.” He kneels down next to where she is sitting, suddenly her smile slowly fading. “You still make me nervous when you walk in the room. Them butterflies—they come alive when I'm next to you… Over and over the only truth… Everything comes back to you.”
Y/N sighs. “Are we going to light this candle or what?” She tries to joke to lighten the mood, but everyone can see something took over her. A sadness that clogged her light.
“You do the honors,” Emily says, handing her the lighter.
Y/N forms her lips into a tight smile, taking it from her hands. It was obvious she was trying to hold back tears, gripping on S/N’s hand as she lit the simple orange candle that sits on top of the chocolate cake. Luke poofs to be in front of her. “And I know that it's wrong… That I can't move on, but there's something 'bout you.” He blows out the candle before anyone else does, everyone looks around, but Y/N, she looks straight up at him. His eyes widened a little when he met hers, she wasn’t staring through him, she was staring at him.
“Are you okay, sweetie?” Emily asks.
“Mom?” S/N calls out.
Y/N shakes her head, with a soft smile. “I’m okay.” She looks at Luke once again, lighting the candle. “S/N, how about you make a wish for your father,” she suggests.
With one nod, they all lean over to blow the candle out. “'Cause if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you…. Drive highways and byways to be there with you… Over and over the only truth…. Everything comes back to you.”
“What did you wish for, for him?” Y/N asks.
“Well, if I say it, then it won’t come true,” S/N and Luke say at the same time. It was what he would say at every birthday when Y/N would ask.
She lets out a breathless chuckle. “Spoken like a true Patterson.”
“You still make me nervous when you walk in the room… Them butterflies—they come alive when I'm next to you… Over and over the only truth… Everything comes back to you… Mmmm… Everything comes back to you… Mmmm.”
And with that he poofs away, Y/N looking at the spot he once was at. “Are you sure you’re okay, mom?” S/N asks, worried.
She turns to meet his eyes, flashbacks coming back to her.
“Where are the boys? They should be back by now.” Y/N paces back and forth. “Have you heard from them, Bobby?”
He shrugs, shaking his head. “No, I haven’t, I haven’t gotten a call from them.”
“Something is wrong--”
“Now, Y/N we can’t make any assumptions, yet.” Bobby grabs ahold of her shoulders to steady her. “They’ll be fine.”
“But, they would never be this late, they’re performing so soon, they’re going to be letting people in any moment…” She leans forward, making sure he was listening. “It’s not like them,” she says, seriously.
“Have you tried calling them?” Bobby asks.
“No answer,” she replies, when suddenly Luke’s name pops up on her flip phone. “Luke! I have been worried sick, where are you? The show is about to--”
“Is this Y/N L/N?” a deep male voice asks.
Taken aback by this Y/N let’s out a cautious ‘yes’.
“This is the Los Angeles hospital, and it seems as though you were on the emergency contact list for Luke Patterson.” Her heart beats loudly out of her chest. “I’m sorry to inform you of this but…”
The phone slips out of her hand, having it fall to the floor. “Y/N? Y/N what’s wrong?” Bobby runs over to her, concerned. “You gotta talk to me here.”
“They’re gone,” she whispers. Tears fell down viciously from her eyes. “They’re gone,” she sobs. “I should’ve gone with them!” she pauses. “I should’ve stopped them, I should’ve done something!”
“Y/N you’re not making any sense.”
“They’re dead, Bobby!” she screams, everyone looking over at her in fear.
“I have to go, I have to go to the hospital, I have to call Emily, I have to--” she began to feel sick, believing this was one sort of twisted nightmare.
“But, what about the show?” Y/N sends Bobby a glare.
“That’s what you care about?!” she shouts. “That’s all you care about right now?! Who gives fuck about that?” She waves it off. “This--means nothing to me without the others,” she spits through her teeth.
“Mom?” S/N calls out.
“Well.” She stands up, tugging at her clothes. “We should get going now…” Wiping away the tears she didn’t know were there, she gathers her stuff. “We’ll talk soon, okay?” She hugs Emily tightly, switching with S/N to hug Mitch. “Hang in there for us.”
“We should be telling that to you,” Emily whispers, looking at the girl with sad eyes. “You grew up too fast.”
“Time seems to have a way of getting ahead of you.”
“Marching on proud, turn it up loud,” Julie sings, as she presses the keys on the piano. “‘Cause now we know what we’re worth--”
Luke poofs into the chair that sits across from where Julie is. “Whoa Julie!” Luke stands up immediately.
She looks at him, with her head slightly tilted. “Get your guitar, we got work to do,” she orders.
Luke glances at the guys, speechless. He chuckles, moving to grab his guitar. He strides over to Julie. “What made you come back?”
“I realized how important music is to all of us,” she explains. “And we’ve lost so much already… We can’t lose this too.”
He nods a little. “Thanks,” he says, sincerely. “Alright boss, where we at?” He moves backwards
She breathes out a laugh. “Oh, and by the way… Happy birthday.” He raises an eyebrow towards the boys, looking back at her. She smiles. “Let’s go from the pre-chorus.”
“One, two, three, four!” Alex counts in.
Julie glances behind Luke, a light blue box sitting up on the piano. The best thing about having ghosts as friends is that they can follow people without the whole ‘I’m gonna call the cops’ problem.
So, as the days went by, it was bad enough to go behind his back and give ‘Unsaid Emily' to his mom, but then to find out about the boys having to cross over, she knew it needed to be done. “Hello,” Y/N answers, opening the door.
“Hi.” Julie waves. “Um… You wouldn’t happen to be Y/N L/N, would you?”
She laughs. “Depends on who’s asking,” she jokes. “Yes, I’m Y/N.” She holds out her hand for Julie to shake. “And who might you be?”
“Oh Julie!” She accepts the handshake, holding the light blue box she found in her free hand.
“Nice to meet you Julie, and what brings you here?” Y/N smiles towards the young girl.
Julie moves the box to show Y/N. “I think this belongs to you.”
Y/N stares down at it, before looking around. “You live in that old house, don’t you?” she asks. Julie doesn’t respond, resorting to a warm smile. “Um…” Y/N looks back into her house. “Come in.”
“Who’s this?” A man in a business suit walks out into the living room. “Why is there a young girl in the house?”
“This is Julie,” Y/N introduces.
“And Luke would like to know what Julie is doing here.” Julie jumps, alarming Y/N beside her.
His eyes held anger. “Look, I was okay with you giving the song to my mom, but this…” His voice fades off, when he looks at the man.
“Oh, a crazy young girl in the house. That’s safe,” the man mumbles.
Y/N rolls her eyes. “This is my boyfriend, BF/N.”
“Fiance,” BF/N corrects. “And I have to get to work.”
Y/N jolts a little. “Oh, alright, well I’ll see you--And he’s gone.” She throws her hands up with a laugh. “A grumpy one that is,” she jokes. “So, about this box…” She takes it from Julie’s hands. “You found this in a backpack, didn’t you?”
“You remember what’s in there?” Julie asks.
“How’s that studio doing? Has it fallen apart, yet? It’s not being destroyed, is it?” Worry fills her.
“No!” Julie abruptly exclaims. “No, no, it’s just I got curious and started looking, and I’ve been giving people back some of the stuff I found of theirs.”
“Oh,” Y/N whispers. “Julie and the Phantoms,” she suddenly says.
“What?” Julie, and Luke’s heart drops.
“I knew I recognized you--yeah, my son, he's a music teacher at an elementary school, uses your music as an example a lot,” she explains. “Look, I’m not going to go questioning you about it, but I know.”
“You do?” Julie asks, confused.
Y/N doesn’t answer, opening up the box. “I was going to give him this present at The Orpheum.”
Luke narrows his eyes, walking up to her, to look inside.
“It was how I was going to tell him I was pregnant, guess plans didn’t go the way I wanted it to.” She shrugs. “But, I know he knows, and that’s all I can ever ask for. S/N, who’s my son, took upon himself to follow his father’s footsteps--not including the hotdogs, which we banned in our house.” She could feel the tears building in her eyes. “It was hard, suing a company, Bobby--Or should I say Trevor Wilson becoming famous off of Luke’s songs, and having to go through raising a child mostly alone takes a toll on you. But, here I am.”
“I also found these.” Julie hands her a photo, and a sheet of paper.
Y/N laughs loudly. “This picture! I remember this photo.” Luke smiles a little when she does, and the fact she remembers the memory. “Sunset Curve had just booked their first gig, and this photo was taken after the performance. I remember him that day like it was yesterday, you could’ve sworn he had like fifty energy drinks, but that was just Luke.”
Julie lets out a small laugh. “How did you do it?”
Y/N looks up in alarm. Luke stays as quiet as possible, his eyes checking out every area of this house she now calls home. “Do what?”
Y/N was shocked to hear those words come out of Julie’s mouth. “Move on?” She raises an eyebrow. “I never moved on. How could I? I still think about him every morning, day, and night, with every song I listen to, with every move I make, with every breath I take, all I can remember is the time I spent with him,” she pauses. “There’s no such thing as moving on when it comes to him, I can only just take him with me.” She picks up the piece of paper. “I knew it,” she whispers, reading over the words.
“What is it?” Julie asks.
“'Cause if the whole world was watching I'd still dance with you. Drive highways and byways to be there with you… Over and over the only truth...Everything comes back to you,” Y/N sings, Luke looking at her with awe. He always loved her singing voice despite her negative thoughts over it, but that wasn’t the reason he was so taken aback. “You still make me nervous when you walk in the room. Them butterflies—they come alive when I'm next to you… Over and over the only truth… Everything comes back to you… Mmmm… Everything comes back to you… Mmmm.”
“She really did hear me,” he whispers. Julie looks at him, making Y/N turn to look beside her. “But, she can’t see me.” He frowns.
Y/N laughs. “I was the believer,” she admits. “In ghosts and all of that. The boys made fun of me, besides Alex, Alex and I would make conspiracies about it, while Luke and Reggie would try to scare us, Bobby was the only one who’d scream.” She sits down on the couch, Luke sitting down beside her, Julie sitting across from her on a chair. “I remember this one time! When Luke accidentally hit me with his guitar, and he felt so bad, he got me at least a dozen daisies, and other flowers. And my family and I--we had separate cookie jars, because we have different opinions, and of course Luke always had to be eating out of mine. I would get so angry with him, and I would chase him around. Then I would feel bad when he’d fall. So, I would feed him cookies because he claimed his hands hurt.” She rolls her eyes.
Luke wipes away the tears that he couldn’t hold back. Sniffles, and small sobs escaping.
Y/N allows her own tears to fall. “I miss him.”
“I miss you too.” His voice barely audible, but Y/N heard it loud and clear.

simple touches | luke patterson
paring: alive!fem!reader x ghost!luke patterson
summary: after realizing they can touch in the garage, reader and Luke reevaluate their growing relationship
!! NOT MY GIF !!
MASTERLIST || PROMPTS LIST
You didn’t realize it at first. When you threw your arms around Luke’s neck, you expected to go right through him like you did when you tried to grab his hand a few days ago.
“This is an interesting little relationship you and I have”, is what he said after that encounter. The interesting little relationship just got ten times more interesting since you can physically touch him now.
Luke slowly pulls back from the hug you just shared in the garage together. He holds your face in his hands and you melt into his touch. Your hands are on his cheeks. Your face mere inches from Luke’s. You can see the tears in his eyes from when he was crying a few minutes ago.
His eyes scan your entire face as you ask, “What does this mean?”
“I don’t know,” Luke stammers. Neither of you know how you can touch each other now.
You look at Reggie and Alex, hoping a hug will help them feel stronger. “Alex, Reggie,” you call. “Come here.”
The bassist and drummer come over. A group hug ensues between the four of you. When you all pull back, Reggie says, “I don’t feel as weak anymore.”
Alex says, “Neither do I, even though I was never really weak.”
Then the three ghosts hiss in pain before you watch as Caleb’s stamp leaves their arms. The stamp disappears and you look between the three boys in front of you. You smile and sniffle, glad you didn’t lose the three people who meant the most to you. Well, the three ghosts who meant the most to you.
Luke stands across from you and smiles. “I guess you’re stuck with us now, L/N.”
“I’m okay with that,” you tell the guitarist.
The following morning, you pace around the garage. You rub your hands together and sigh.
Luke poofs into the room and asks, “Y/N, what’s wrong? You look stressed out.”
You look up at Luke and say, “First you appear and I’m the only person that can see you. Then we find out other people can see you when you play with Julie. Now I can touch you after hugging you? Luke, I don’t understand.”
“I don’t either,” Luke says to you. “I really don’t understand. I wish I did so I could have answers for you but I truly don’t understand either.”
Before you can chicken out, you ask, “What does this mean for us?”
He tilts his head and looks at you, confused. “Us?” he asks. “We’re friends, Y/N. I don’t know what you’re trying to say.”
You stare at the musician and ask, “All the flirting? The trying to hold hands? Was that all because you wanted to be friends, Luke?”
Luke finally catches on and says, “Well, no. I couldn’t touch you, Y/N. I didn’t want to say anything because you’re human and I’m a ghost. Of course, I want to be more than just friends with you. I have for a while.”
Your heart pounds in your chest as Luke confesses his feelings for you. Of course, you didn’t actually think he’d like you but he does. Luke Patterson likes you.
Slowly, Luke’s hand grazes yours. You gasp, still not used to the fact that Luke can touch you now. You glance down at your nearly connected hands. You inhale sharply as you lace your fingers with Luke’s.
Simple touches make your stomach erupt in butterflies. You’ve wanted so badly to be able to touch Luke. You’ve wanted to hug him and hold his hand.
Now you can, and it could change everything between you both.
“What do you want us to be?” Luke asks cautiously.
Caught off guard by the question, you stammer, “I’m, um, I’m not sure. I want us to be more than friends but what if this is a temporary thing? What if you being able to touch me is temporary? I don’t want to be able to hold your hand for more than a few days or weeks.”
Luke is quick to cup your face in his hands like he did yesterday after you both figured out you could touch. You meet his pretty hazel eyes. You’re speechless now as you lean into his touch.
After a moment of silence between the two of you, Luke says, “Temporary or not, I don’t want to pass up this chance to be able to call you mine, Y/N. I’m serious.”
You let out a shaky sigh as you maintain eye contact with Luke. He looks at you with hopeful eyes.
He’s right. Even if it is temporary, you want to be able to be his. This could be your only chance to be together and you’d be an idiot if you decided to pass on this opportunity.
“Okay,” you say nodding. “Temporary or not.” Those words have basically solidified your new relationship status with Luke.
He smiles and asks, “Is it okay if I kiss you?”
You nod slightly and say, “Yeah.”
Luke slowly leans into you, his eyes flickering down to your lips. You swallow, nervous. This is your first kiss, and you don’t even know if it’s even real.
Your lips lightly touch Luke’s, and the slight touch sends a jolt of electricity through your body. Your eyes flutter shut as Luke kisses you again, more sure of it this time. He’s not hesitating like he did before.
You take a step closer to the ghost boy as you gently kiss him back. Your heart pounds in your chest as the kiss continues between you both. Butterflies fly around your belly as the kiss intensifies slightly.
The garage door opening forces you to break the kiss. You jump back from Luke, looking at the ground. Luke just smiles and his face reddens.
“Oh,” Alex says. “Oh! Oh, we definitely interrupted something.” You glance up to see Alex, Julie, and Reggie standing in the doorway of the garage.
Reggie says, “They we’re definitely smoochin’.”
You blink at them and Luke says, “Well, we can touch now so we wanted to take full advantage of the fact that we can.”
Julie says, “I think it’s cute that the two of you can finally be together.”
Luke asks, “Is this a permanent thing?”
Both you and Luke look between Reggie, Alex, and Julie. Hope is in your eyes as Alex says, “It does seem to be a permanent thing. We may still be ghosts but we can touch things no problem now. That’s what Willie seems to think anyway.”
Filled with euphoria, you turn and look at Luke. “Looks like it’s not a temporary thing at all,” you say to the guitarist.
He smiles and shakes his head, saying, “It’s a forever thing.” You smile as Luke leans in and presses another sweet kiss to your lips.

you’re not taking the stairs | luke patterson
paring: fem!reader x alive!luke patterson
summary: Luke sneaks reader into his room at night after he got grounded, but gets caught by his parents
warnings: just a heated makeout session
!! NOT MY GIF !!
MASTERLIST || PROMPTS LIST
You sit on the couch in the garage that Sunset Curve plays in. Alex and Reggie are at home, and Luke’s parents are outside talking to their son. You were watching Luke practice one of the band’s songs and enjoying listening to him play.
“You should’ve told us you were in a band!” you hear Luke’s mother shout. The garage door is cracked a bit. You don’t mean to eavesdrop but there’s nothing else you can really do.
Luke says, “Like you would’ve let me join the band if I had told you.”
His dad says, “We’re not that keen on you being in a rock band at seventeen, Luke. You’ve heard what goes on behind the scenes with rock bands.”
Everyone’s quiet for a second before Luke says, “I’m not quitting the band. I know that’s why you both came out here.”
“Then you’re grounded,” his mother says. “You’re 17, Luke. You shouldn’t be out at night on the streets of Los Angeles at your age.”
Luke begins to say, “Mom, that’s not fair-”
She says, “Luke, you joined a rock band without asking us first. You are 17 and not yet legal. You can’t just go and join a band without our permission. It’s either you quit or you’re grounded.”
You hear your boyfriend sigh and say, “I’m not quitting.”
His mother says, “Then say goodbye to your friends until further notice. Your father and I need to think and talk about this before we let you continue in this band. Let’s go, we’re going home.”
“I need to go grab some things from the garage,” Luke sighs. The door opens and you watch Luke walk in. He closes the door again and walks over to you. You stand up and look at him.
Luke says, “I have to go. Technically my parents are right. I’m not legal yet and probably should have asked before I started a rock band.”
You sigh and say, “You guys have a tour meeting in a few days. You might be able to play the Orpheum and you’re now grounded.”
He smiles and says, “I won’t be for long. I promise. Come by my house tonight, Y/N. Just don’t take the stairs when leaving your house like you usually do.”
“I’ll be there,” you tell him.
Luke smiles and says, “See you in a little bit.” He leans down and presses a light kiss to your lips. You smile and push him back a little bit since he has to go.
You look up at him and tell him, “Go, before your parents like flip out on you.”
He laughs and leaves the garage.
It’s only eight. The sun has completely set since it’s December. You have three hours before you’re due to sneak into your boyfriend’s room.
You leave your apartment at 10:30 that night. You bike to Luke’s house, which takes a half-hour because his place is on the other side of town.
When you get to Luke’s house, you hide your bike in the same bushes you always use a few blocks away from his place. You walk the two blocks, sneaking up the driveway and going around back. You see the light on in Luke’s room. You can see him sitting on his bed with his guitar, strumming away.
Avoiding the bushes, you walk up to his window. You knock lightly on the glass and Luke looks up at you. A smile forms on his lips and he gets up, walking over to you. He pulls open the window and says quietly, “Glad you could make it.”
“I wouldn’t miss it,” you tell him. “Help me in.”
Luke grabs your hands and pulls you into his room. You’re careful to avoid the guitar sitting by his window. You pull the window closed once you’re in his room.
You ask, “What were you playing? I saw you on your guitar when I walked up.”
He laughs softly and says, “I was just practicing Now or Never. If you were hoping for new music, sorry to disappoint.”
With a smile forming on your face, you tease, “All that new music I know you’re working on all the time and you are playing Now or Never.”
“It’s going to be a bop,” Luke tells you, putting his guitar in it’s usual spot by the door.
You watch him and ask, “So, why did you ask me to sneak into your room? You only do that when you really want to see me.”
Luke comes back over to you and says, “I really wanted to see you since I’m apparently grounded.”
“You just saw me a few hours ago,” you point out to him.
Your boyfriend smiles and says, “And I won’t see you until I get out of here.”
You blink at him and ask, “Get out of here?”
He nods. “I’m going to pack a bag of clothes, grab my acoustic, and I’m going to stay in the garage.”
“Your parents know you practice there,” you tell him. “That’s going to be the first place they check. You know that.”
Luke says, “That’s another reason why I wanted you to come by. I wanted to ask if I could stay with you in your apartment for a couple of days while they look for me. They don’t know where you live and they’ll probably stop checking the garage after a few days.”
You live in your own apartment with the money your parents left you before they passed. Luke is the only person who knows where you live. “Luke, you’re going to run away?” you ask.
He nods again, saying, “I can’t stay here, Y/N. They will actually make me quit the band and I don’t want to quit the band. I heard them talking before they went to bed.”
With a sigh, you say, “If you’re going to live with me for a few days then we need to set some ground rules.”
“So I can stay with you?” Luke asks.
You smile and say, “Yes, you can stay with me, but for no more than like two weeks, okay? I don’t want you actually moving in with me yet.”
Luke smiles back and says, “I just need a few days then I’m out of your hair.”
“You’re never out of my hair,” you joke.
Your boyfriend laughs and says, “Very funny, Y/N.”
You chuckle and say, “I’m so funny.”
“Yes you are,” Luke says. You smile up at him and he cups your face in his hands. You meet his pretty hazel eyes.
He pulls you into a soft kiss. You take a step closer to your boyfriend and tilt your head up. Luke begins to push you toward the bed. Your knees hit the mattress and you fall backward, pulling Luke with you.
Both of you laugh as the kiss continues. Luke settles between your legs and your fingers slide into his hair. He deepens the kiss when you part your lips ever so slightly and his tongue slips into your mouth. You let out a soft sigh.
Neither of you hear the footsteps walking down the hallway outside the room. Luke’s bedroom door opens and he jumps off of you. You look up and see Luke’s parents standing in the doorway.
His mom looks between you both before she says, “Luke Patterson, you are in so much trouble.”

+Perfect Harmony+ (Part One) Luke x Reader
Description: For Y/N Molina, it never came easy for her. The hardest part not being able to do the one thing she loved, creating music. With her cousin Julie joining a ghost band that she’s been secretly admiring for years, her all time crush not returning the same feelings, and having many untold secrets, something is bound to go wrong.
Warnings: ANGST, swearing, mention of suicidal thoughts, Ray not being that nice (I’m sorry Ray, we love you), mention of slight sexual harassment, mentions of death (duh), terrible writing, typos, and probably more that my brain can’t think of at the moment.
After Writing All Of That I’m Questioning This Story, But I Do Love It So... Many Songs Will Be Featured, Feel Free To Listen To Them When They Come Up.
For Y/N Molina life wasn’t easy. Her parents, one being the sister of Ray Molina, dropped her off in front of the Molina household at the age of fourteen before going off to explore the world. At the time she was upset about the situation, but it wasn’t surprising. Her parents never wanted a kid, she practically raised herself while they were in Greece eating seafood, and sipping at the finest wine, no doubt. “How are you doing?” Rose, her cousin Julie’s mom, asks.
Y/N shrugs. “They’re never coming back, so I guess I’m going to be stuck on this couch for a while.” She actually grew quite fond of the sofa that pulled out into a bed.
“We’ll make you a room up in the loft,” Rose assures.
“So, we agree, my parents are…” Her voice fades off, inhaling through her nose.
“You know, this used to be the studio of a band.” Y/N tilts her head, looking at the older woman. “A rock band, I met them when they were going to play at The Orpheum--”
“The Orpheum?!” Y/N exclaims. “That’s amazing!”
“They were, but they died that night.” Rose stands up, walking to a box. “This is some of their stuff.” She picks it up. “I’ve heard the music you listen to, and I think you would like them.” Setting down the box in front of Y/N, she wastes no time searching through it.
“Sunset Curve?” she questions, staring down at the logo printed on the shirt. “Cool name,” she compliments with a wide smile, setting the article of clothing in her lap. She picks up a picture showing four boys. “Were these them?”
“Yes, that one was Bobby, he’s a flirt, Reggie, sweetie, Alex, very sassy--” Y/N giggles, “And Luke, he was the lead singer.”
“He’s… Quite decent looking,” Y/N observes sheepishly.
“I knew you’d think so.” Rose ruffles her hair. “Listen to the CD, you never know…”
“I will.” Y/N clutches the photo to her chest as Rose leaves. Hastily she picks up the CD that had the band's logo plastered on the plastic case. She gently places it in the player, waiting for the music to come through the speakers. And then, there it was. “They’re amazing.” She grabs the box again, pulling out an orange beanie, placing it on her head.
By the end of the night she had searched the entire studio for more stuff, gathering it, trying things on, she stayed up ‘til sunrise listening, and trying to learn each and every one of their songs, painting each of the members on canvases, writing songs about the guitarist that even though died years ago, she couldn’t help but feel connected to. A crush on a dead guy, what’s better than that?
“Boo!” Luke poofs in next to Y/N who’s currently getting her textbooks out of her locker.
“God!” she shrieks. “You need to stop doing that to me, gonna give me a heart attack,” she mutters as her fellow classmates, and random people she had never met give her weird glances. “Make people think I’m crazy.” Luke opens his mouth to reply, but Y/N beats him to it. “Yes, Luke, I know ‘we’re all a little crazy’.”
He pouts. “Someone’s grumpy today.” He crosses his arms, leaning against the locker next to hers. “But, anyways! Do you know where Julie is?”
And there Y/N’s heart was punched. “I mean, she has to be around here somewhere,” she answers, slamming the locker door. “Now, if you’d excuse me, I have to go to class.” She takes her time to turn around on her heels.
“You’re gonna be at band rehearsal before our performance, right?” he asks, making her stop.
Turning only the upper half of her body to look at him. “I think you forget I live in the studio.”
He lets out an airy chuckle. “Right.” He playfully rolls his eyes.
Unlike Julie she didn’t care if people thought she was crazy, for the number one reason being that people already thought that. Wacky, coocoo, freak, those were just some of the words people called her before her favorite band suddenly popped out of nowhere because Julie played their CD.
That always confused Y/N, why is that when she played the CD all that time ago they didn’t show up, but when Julie did, they did? She never mentioned her already known infatuation with the band, even though it most likely answers the question of why Julie and her can see the ghosts. “But, I’m grounded so…” She carelessly shrugs. “I’m stuck on party duty for the time being, so probably won’t be there for that, but I’ll be there for the actual performance.” Even though she would’ve done it anyway, Ray wanted Y/N to be more ‘supportive’.
“Oh.” His smile falters a little. “Cool, I’ll catch you later then.”
An awkward tension fills the air. “Yep.” She salutes towards him, walking off.
Grounded. No phone, only can drive her car to school, and home. Y/N wasn’t even allowed to listen to her records which she’s collected over the course of three years. And it was for the reason that she's failing multiple classes, but Ray didn’t understand the struggle she’s going through.
Let’s rewind… When Rose died it left the whole Molina family broken. But, it also left another part of Y/N broken when music became Julie’s thing at that moment, Ray not allowing Y/N to even have a guitar in her room. She loved music, all she wanted to do was sing, play every instrument, write every song with any word that popped into her mind. Julie couldn’t even touch a piano until recently, and yet, it had to only be Julie’s thing. So, now Y/N has to just secretly write songs in her red notebook knowing they’ll never be used, and secretly play in the school’s band room before any student takes a foot into the building, while she watches her cousin and the guys become ‘Julie and the Phantoms’.
What does hurt her everyday, is not being able to do something she loves because they’re afraid of how it might affect someone else. But, if Julie really cared for her family member then she’d be happy for her, right? Not to mention the way Luke looks at Julie hurts a little too, the chemistry. No one can deny it. It’s not like she’s had a crush on him before they even met him as a ghost. No, the biggest crush that she’s ever had is totally not a dead guy, and no, she’s never in the past thought about killing herself in hope to meet him if there were an afterlife, which she guesses there is now. She’s sure he loves Julie not being an absolute mess for him, and he probably knows that Y/N’s in love with him and is trying to show her he doesn’t like her in the worst way possible. “Y/N!” she internally screams, hearing the familiar voice.
“Josh…” she drags out his name. Maybe she should just give him a chance? He gives her plenty of attention. She giggles to herself when the thought crosses her mind. That wasn’t funny. An inner voice replies.
“Hey, I just… Wanted to see how you were doing, you know--just friend to friend.”
“I actually have to go to class, so we’ll talk later, ‘kay?” She tries to turn around to leave, but Josh grabs her arm to pull her back.
“Class doesn’t start for another fifteen minutes,” he counters.
“Y/N!” Luke exclaims, poofing right next to Josh. “I still haven’t found Julie, are you sure you don’t know where she is?” He almost didn’t even notice the other boy that had also been fighting for Y/N’s attention.
“I like to get to class early,” Y/N replies to Josh. “And you haven’t seen Julie around here, have you?”
“I think I saw her in the dance room.” She gives Luke a pointed look. “You know, practicing for that dance thing.”
“Yeah!” Y/N responds, not even an ounce interested in this conversation. Resisting the urge to roll her eyes, she noticed Luke not leaving.
“Who’s this?” he asks.
“So, Josh, I really have to go,” she claims. “I’ll see ya around!”
“Wait,” he starts. “Is this about when I tried to kiss you the other day?” Y/N tenses up,
Luke’s jaw dropping slightly.
Followed by a wide smile. “Does Y/N have a boyfriend?!” he mocks.
“No, well, yes, it is. We aren’t dating, Josh, it’s uncomfortable.” Josh huffs out. “That’s not a weird reason for why.” Y/N’s blood starts to boil.
“You should feel honored that someone would even want to kiss you, I mean your reputation here isn’t all too great, Y/N,” he states.
“Goodbye, Josh.” She turns on her heels.
Luke watches as she angrily walks away, glaring at Josh who obviously couldn’t see him. He turns slightly, glancing over his shoulder to see Julie by her locker. Giving Y/N one more glimpse he goes to do what he came here to do.
Y/N sits at her desk, rereading over the words that she colorfully wrote in her journal. “You pretty thing, with pretty things inside,” she sings quietly. She slams the book closed when she finds herself getting annoyed by just how untalented she was.
“I think that Nick guy has a crush on Julie,” Luke reports, once again magically appearing in front of her. He was taken aback when she didn’t react.

=Our Savior Julie Molina=* Alive!Luke x Fem!Reader
Description/Prompt (Made by @love-me-a-good-prompt): Person A (Luke) And Person B (Y/N) Arguing Over Who Should Kill The Spider.
Warnings: Swearing, fluff mild angst, marked * because of some mild touching, and if the spider never came it could’ve gone a completely different path (Thank goodness it came).
=Our Savior Julie Molina=
“So, what did you think?” Luke asks, sitting down next to Y/N who’s currently reading on his couch that he’s been sleeping on for the past month.
“About what?” she asks, uninterested.
He scoffs, afterwards keeping his jaw slacked. “About practice?! Were you even paying attention?”
Y/N rolls her eyes, still continuing to read the words on the page she’s on. She was so close to done, and it was getting so good. “Sorry!” she asks, insincere. “But, to be fair I watch almost every session, and nothing ever changes. You’re still good.”
He pouts, scooting closer to her. “It’s still nice to know you’re watching,” he mumbles.
“Aw, babe, I’m always watching… Half of the time,” she adds.
His eyes widen, clear annoyance on his face. “What are you even reading?” He plucks the book away from her hands.
“Luke!” She reaches for it, but he keeps it in a place she can’t quite reach. “I’m almost done,” she whines. “And then I’ll give you all the attention you want.”
His jaw drops to the ground. “What is this rated?! Do you read this kind of stuff around your family?”
“Oh my God!” Y/N shrills. “It’s not even that bad! And you went back like a hundred pages, you’re lucky I remembered my spot.”
“Damn!” he chuckles. “No wonder you can’t ever stop reading, this is…” He raises a suggestive eyebrow towards her. “This is basically porn.”
Y/N slaps his arm. “How dare you make such an accusation upon this book. Just for the record it is a great book, beautifully written and--” her words were swallowed up by Luke’s tongue in her mouth. She pushes him away, glancing at the garage door. “Luke,” she whispers. “The guys are literally in the house, they could come back any moment.”
“So, then we’ll make it quick,” he counters.
“Are you serious?” she asks.
The look on his face was a good enough answer for her. “Why wouldn’t I be?”
“God, you’re such a boy,” she blurts before placing her lips back onto his, him happily accepting, trying to get a good rhythm going.
His hands started to play with the bottom of her shirt. “Can I?”
She nods, kissing his cheek before helping him take off the piece of clothing. Acting quick she reaches forward to help him to be in the same position as her, but her movements come to an abrupt halt. “OH MY GOD!” she accidentally shrieks.
“What?!” He turns around seeing the huge brown spider on the wall, just inches by them. “Holy shit!”
They both stand up, trying to escape the sight of the bug. “Wait, my shirt! I can’t walk out--AH!” She trips backwards on the coffee table. Though, it wasn’t an enormous amount of pain, a sting shot up her leg. “Luke! A little help!” she calls out. “Or better yet… Kill it!”
He steps over her, glancing down. “I’m not getting anywhere close to that thing, you’re on your own.” He continues to pace towards the door.
“Luke!” she calls out again, struggling to get up onto her feet. “Where’d it go?!” Her eyes scanned the walls, but there was no sign of the spider. “Oh hell no!” She runs towards the large door, crashing into Luke when she hits the warm air of California.
“Y/N!” Her head snaps towards him.
“What?” she asks, still shaken up by the situation.
“What’s going on over there? We heard screaming?” Julie shouts from the other side of the plants that blocks a bit of the view to the house.
They both hear footsteps making their way towards them. Luke quickly rips off his sleeveless shirt, throwing it over Y/N’s head, and pulling it down to cover the upper half of her body in record time. “Are you guys, like, okay?” Alex asks. Him, Reggie, and Julie walk up to the couple. “And why aren’t you wearing a shirt?” He points towards Luke.
“There was a spider,” he answers.
“The spider took your shirt?!” Reggie asks, dumbly. No one believed that he was joking, they let out a sigh.
Alex and Julie narrow their eyes at Y/N who’s standing there awkwardly, covering the logo of the shirt that would immediately relate back to Luke. “I think it was Y/N’s shirt the spider took,” Alex mutters, still allowing the group to hear it.
Reggie narrows his eyes in confusion as he looks off into the distance.
“Okay, just to be very clear the spider was huge,” Y/N explains. “Like massive.”
“I’m sure it wasn’t even that bad,” Julie argues.
“You weren’t the one who saw it,” Y/N replies in a petty tone. “I’m not going back in there though until someone kills it.” She gives Luke a pointed look.
“Why me?” he asks, turning his body towards her. “What about you? You’re the one who claims some spiders are cute.”
“Because some are!” Her volume begins to rise. “You were the one who left me on the ground, my leg in pain.” She lets out a bitter laugh. “You’re a bad boyfriend.”
He scoffs. “Oh really I’m a bad boyfriend?”
She nods. “Mhm.” She turns her head away from him. “I’m not talking to you, and I’m keeping the shirt.”
He gasps dramatically. “That is so unfair!” he whines. “That’s one of my favorite shirts, yeah no, you’re not keeping it.” He begins to tug at the fabric.
“Lucas Patterson, you are not about to take off this shirt. Not in front of Alex and Reggie.” She slaps his hands away.
“I’m gay, so it wouldn’t really affect me.” Alex purses his lips.
Reggie raises his hand up. “I wouldn’t mind it.” Luke shoots him a glare. “Right, sorry.” His face turns a bright red, looking away.
Y/N suddenly takes notice of an absent Julie. “Where’s Julie?” she asks.
“Right here,” Julie says, walking out of the garage with a small container. “And I think this little guy is the one you two were freaking out over.” She raises up the piece of plastic, the spider standing still inside of it.
Y/N rolls her eyes. “It’s pretty big, you can’t lie.”
Julie shrugs. “Maybe, maybe not.”
“Awww…” Reggie bends his knees a little to be face to face with the spider. “It’s kinda cute, can we keep it?”
“No!” Luke and Y/N shouts together, both giving each other an uncomfortable glance.
“I’m just--I’m gonna get my shirt.” She points towards the big doors. “I’ll leave yours on the couch, Lucas.”
“Not the full name again,” he complains in barely a whisper.
She slowly walks off to retrieve her stuff. “What was that all about?” Alex asks.
The gang stands together in a straight line, their arms crossed. “Yeah, that turned into like a full blown argument between you two,” Julie observes. “Is everything alright?”
“Am I a bad boyfriend?” Luke abruptly asks, scratching the back of his head.
Julie chuckles. “Luke, I’m sure she didn’t mean anything by that, I’m sure she was just being sarcastic, or something like that. Don’t take it so personally, we’ve all had experiences with Y/N’s words. Most of the time it’s just her joking even when it sounds like she’s not,” she pauses. “Talk to her.”
“And say what? ‘Do you really think I’m a bad boyfriend?’”
“Yes!” Julie and Alex exclaim.
“She doesn’t like to beat around the bush,” Julie informs. “She likes it blunt, sometimes, just don’t say anything mean, that’s blunt, but if she--for example--has something in her teeth, then just straight out say it.”
“What does that have to do with anything?” Luke asks, confused.
“And what are you still doing standing out here?” Julie asks back, changing the conversation. “Get in there, Tiger.” She cringes at her choice of words. He hesitantly walks off. “Convincing Luke to man up when he isn’t wearing a shirt was definitely not on my to-do list today,” Julie admits, only joking a little.
“Let’s just give them some space.” Alex nudges Julie, who’s already walking back to the house. “That means you as well.” He roughly grabs Reggie who’s staring through one of the squared windows to the garage.
“Y/N?” Luke calls out. “Are you okay?” he asks, walking up to her.
“In what context? Physically or emotionally?” she quizzes, stuffing one of her books in her backpack. “Physically, my back and leg are a little sore, emotionally…” She tilts her head side to side. “I’ll live,” she simply answers.
“I should’ve helped you up,” he scolds himself.
Y/N giggles. “Relax, Luke, I’m just messing with you.” She ruffles his hair. “I’ll be okay,” she assures.
“It doesn’t matter if you’ll be okay or not, I still should’ve helped you.”
Y/N sets down her bag with a huff. “I can’t take you seriously without a shirt on, so…” She tosses what she was previously wearing towards him.
With a forced laugh, he puts it on. “Better?”
She forms her lips into a tight line. “Much.” She carefully thinks about her next words. “Today was fun.” She doesn’t meet his questionable expression.
She laughs, now facing him. “Yes, is that so hard to believe? I mean--first of all, I found out that you, Patterson, are such a wimp.” She takes a step towards him. “A pretty rockstar, who wears the skinniest jeans, I’m surprised you can breathe, and who is afraid of spiders,” she pauses. “He’s so scared of them that he leaves his girlfriend behind to defend for herself, if I knew any better I’d say I’m manlier. We almost had the most awkward encounter with our friends, but there you were…” Her voice fades off as she laughs even louder. “And Julie Molina, our savior, came to the rescue.”
“And how is any of this funny?”
She gapes at him. “Luke!” She playfully hits him. “For someone so optimistic, you really have a way of taking things too seriously.” With a small smile. “We argued on who should kill the spider, that’s what we argued about. That statement is a joke in itself.”
Finally starting to realize it, Luke let’s out a soft chuckle. “I guess so.”
“See?!” Y/N pushes away some of his curls. “There’s the rockstar I know.” She shakes her head. “Bruises heal, don’t stress too much about it.” She leans forward. “You are the best boyfriend.”
“You heard, didn’t you?”
She shrugs, carelessly. “Just a little.” She scrunches up the right side of her face, grabbing her bag. “I gotta go…”
He looks up at the ceiling, with a loud sigh. “I knew it was coming,” he says, disappointed.
“Hey, I’ll be back, and who knows? Maybe we’ll see a centipede or something.” He looks at her in horror. “As someone who’s dealt with them in the past, that’s definitely the right reaction.” She begins to move past him, patting his face lightly. “Bye, Patterson.” Before she steps foot out the door, she turns around. “Oh! And… In your verse, I loved the rasp, and the small growl, but on that last note you seemed a little shaky.” She turns on her heels, but stops herself again. “Oh! And I think you should add a C power chord in the chorus.” He stares at her in awe. “Just because I don’t watch, doesn’t mean I don’t listen.” And with that, she leaves.

You jumped in placed excitedly waiting for your boyfriend to bring down the bags. You stood holding Koa. It was only 5 am.
"Hurry up Char!" You exclaimed. "I know koa daddy is taking so long." You said in a baby voice to the puppy.
"Hey! Stop talking bad about me to my own dog." Charlie said coming out carrying the two suitcases. "Besides why couldn't you get your own bag?"
"Because I was handling Koa's things." You rolled your eyes before bending down to put the small dog in his carrier.
"Okay... Let me just get my guitar then we are ready to go!" Charlie smiled. You nodded picking up the dog carrier and grabbing your bag.
"I'll meet you in the car."
You groaned at the sound of your phone ringing. You rubbed your eyes sitting up in your seat, looking at Charlie.
"Hey sleeping beauty." He chuckled.
"Hey." You mumbled before answering the phone. "Yeah?"
"Hey! Mom hey I heard mom talking to you last week and it sounded like Charlie is coming with you too the lake?" You hear your little sister ask.
"why Charlotte?" You asked.
"Well is he?" Charlotte asked, you could just hear the smirk on her face though.
"Yeah do you want to say hi?" You asked before turning the phone on speaker letting Charlie listen in.
"Hey charlie!" Your oldest brother, Theodore said.
"Charlotte was that a set up!" You exclaimed.
"Yep." She laughed.
"Hey Y/n." Gavin, your other brother said.
"Hey guys, say hi to Charlie I guess."
"Hey Charlie!" Was chorused through the phone.
"Hi guys!" He's talked to them on the phone before either when talking to you or when you facetimed him on prior trips.
"So your finally bringing him I thought you were too scared after you brought Jackson when you were in high school." Charlotte said.
"Oooh who's Jackson?" Charlie teased.
"You haven't told him yet!" Theo exclaimed through the phone.
"No I haven't... Now I will have to Okay bye see you soon." You said before hanging the phone up after letting them say bye. "Jackson was just a jerk I dated sophomore year." You told your boyfriend.
"He's the reason you didn't want me to meet them in person."
"One of them. It's fine how far are we from Wisconsin?" You asked.
"We're in Wisconsin angel." He smiled at you.
"Oh.. Lets go to a rest stop I need to use the restroom and then we can switch. You're gonna need sleep to be able to handle my family."
"Okay." He agreed with a yawn.
"Welcome to the best place on earth!" You said happily climbing out of the car.
"I thought that was Disney world?" Charlie asked opening the backdoor to grab Koa.
"No that's the happiest place on earth."
"Oh... Where is everyone?" Charlie looked at the empty area he assumed was for cars.
"They aren't coming until tomorrow. We got here a day early. It's fine now I can give you a tour and we can sleep." You told him.
"Okay. Should we call and tell your family we got here safe?"
"Uh yeah I'll do it after the tour." You said pulling the bags out of the trunk while Charlie grabbed his guitar case. "Follow me!"
"Of course." He smiled following onto the porch of the large lake house. "Are your grandparents rich?"
"Huh? Oh no my grandpa inherited it from his dad who inherited it from his dad who built it." You explained, "now we just keep up the maintenance on it." You shrugged.
"Oh so is there a room for everyone?"
"Well no, I'll explain there's six bedrooms so each of the parents get a room, my parents, my grandparents, and my aunt and uncle. And then my sister, Theo and his fiance share a room, then you and I share with Gavin and his girlfriend, while my cousin Dale, his wife, and their son have their own room." You explained.
"Oh okay." Charlie smiled as the two of you walked into the house. "Woah." He gasped looking around.
"See best place on earth!" You said setting the bags down. "Let Koa out."
"Okay." Charlie let the puppy out. Koa went running around the open space. "So tour?"
"That's the stairs, the kitchen, dining room, living room." You said walking in farther. "Okay this is the best wall in the house, family photos." You pointed at the wall filled with family photos all taken at the lake.
"You take one every year?" He asked.
"Yeah, you'll be in this year's photo." You said looking at the photos before changing the subject. "Uh that's me as a baby." You pointed at the photo of your family.
"You were so cute! And that's Dale, Theo, and Gavin?" He guessed pointing to the three young boys holding you in the photo.
"Well yeah but that one is Theo and that one is Gavin." You switched his guesses. "Okay back with the tour." You walked away Charlie followed.
"And finally our room. We get the top bunk." You smiled lifting Koa.
"Cool." He laughed looking at the bottom bed pulling at the curtain. "Does the top bunk get a curtain?" He wiggled his eye brows. You rolled your eyes lifting to set Koa on the top bunk before climbing the ladder.
"No we have this." You grabbed a pop up bed tent that hides between the mattress and railing when not being used. It light yellow littered with puppies and cats on it. You've had it since you were little.
"This place is nice you should've brought me soon." Charlie laughed climbing up and laying with you and Koa.
"I guess so. Let's just get so sleep." You rested your head on his shoulder with a yawn.
Taglist: no one so far.

You pace back and forth in your bridal suite. You rub your sweaty hands together as they shake with anxiety. You don’t know why all of a sudden you’re anxious about marrying Charlie today. You love him and you want to spend the rest of your life with him, but those thoughts are creeping into your mind.
Those thoughts of “does he actually love me” and “will he love me til death do us part” run through your head. Your chest feels heavy and you try to breathe. You shake your hands out
With a sigh, you leave the bridal suite in your robe and walk down to Charlie’s room. You wait outside his door before knocking gently three times.
There are footsteps behind the door before it swings open. “Y/N,” Charlie says, surprised. “I’m not supposed to see you before the wedding.”
“I know,” you say, voice shaky with anxiety. “Can I come in for a second?” He nods and moves aside so you can walk in. The door closes behind you.
Charlie asks, “You’re not getting cold feet, are you?”
You inhale sharply and ask, “Can you do something for me?” You turn and face him.
He nods and says, “I’ll do anything for you. You know that.”
“Can you wait a little bit before we get married?” you ask. “I just, I need extra time to assure myself that you won’t fall out of love with me or something like that after we get married.”
Your fiancé walks over to you and tells you, “If that’s what you want then I’ll wait. I’ll wait a thousand years for you. Wanna know why?” You just look up at him. “Because when I gave you that ring, that was me telling you that I’d love you forever, Y/N. I’ll never ‘fall out of love with you or something’. I’ve loved you for years and I’ll love you for years to come, okay? If you’d like to wait though then I’ll wait a little longer before I call you my wife.”
This is why you fell in love with Charlie. This man is head over heels for you, and you’ve always known it. You just had some wedding day jitters.
You lean up, pressing a soft kiss to Charlie’s lips. He kisses you back for a second before you pull back, looking up at him. “I want you to be able to call me your wife,” you tell him. “I don’t wanna wait.”
Charlie smiles and cups your face in his hands. “You just needed to be assured that I wouldn’t fall out of love with you, didn’t you?” he says.
“Don’t blame me,” you pout. “Blame my brain and all it’s anxiety.”
He chuckles and says, “Well, I love you. Anxiety and all. Go get ready. We’re getting married today.”
You walk down the aisle with your father by your side. As you get closer, you can see tears in Charlie’s eyes. A huge smile is painted on his face. Your father gives you away to Charlie and you both face each other in front of the official, fingers laced together.
“I understand you wrote your own vows?” the official asks.
Panic sets in and you say, “I didn’t know this-”
Charlie smiles at you and says, “I needed to say a few things before we make this official.” You look up at Charlie, slightly nervous.
After a second, your fiancé begins saying, “Y/N, I love you. In front of everyone, I’ll tell you I love you. I’ve been in love with you for years. There’s no ‘falling out of love’ for me. I fell in love with you and I’ll stay in love with. I promise to love you until the day I die. That’s why we’re here, right?” The crowd chuckles a bit. “Y/N, my love, it’s you and me until the end. It’s you and me against whatever is going on in that pretty little head of yours. Okay?”
“Okay,” you say, smiling wide.
The official begins the ceremony and it’s taking everything in you to not just kiss him already. You’re antsy by the time the official says, “My the power invested in me, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride.”
Neither of you hesitate. Charlie cups your face in his hands and presses a sweet, lingering kiss to your lips. Your friends and family cheer as you kiss Charlie for the first time as your husband.
Any wedding day jitters are gone as you walk back down the aisle with your new husband.
The reception is just as amazing as the ceremony itself. You rarely leave Charlie’s side all night. Not that you’d want to.
As you and Charlie dance to I Would For You by Lauren Duski as your first dance as husband and wife, Charlie begins to sing some of the lyrics to you as you rest your cheek against his chest.
But I would for you
Give you all of my time
Lay my heart on the line
I'd even walk through a fire
I would for you
You smile, listening to Charlie’s vocals as he sings to you. Any remaining anxiety about whether or not Charlie would eventually fall out of love with you disappears.
Be the strong when you're weak
Be the truth you believe
Be the more than you need
I would for you
I would for you
You would for him too.

MASTERLIST || PROMPTS LIST
You lay on your couch with your face in a pillow. You lay on your stomach and sigh. Today has been a good day, yet all you want to do is lay down and cry for hours. All you want to do is just cancel all your plans for the night and just cry.
Your phone begins to ring but you just ignore it. If you answer it then you’ll have to go out and you don’t want to go out. You have plans to go out with Savannah, Charlie, Owen, and Booboo but you really don’t want to go. You really just want to cry into this pillow.
The phone rings for a minute before it stops. Then it begins to ring again. You groan and put the device on Do Not Disturb. You put your face back into the pillow and sigh.
This is how you lay for the next half hour or so until you hear a knock on the front door of your apartment. Reluctantly, you get up and swing open the door. Behind the door is a smiling Charlie Gillespie. “Oh, good,” he says. “You’re not dead. You didn’t answer your phone and it’s unlike you to answer the phone.”
“I’m fine,” you mutter as you move to the side, letting Charlie into your apartment.
As he passes you, Charlie says, “You look exhausted and like you’re ready to pass out even though it only like six in the afternoon. Are you sure you’re okay?”
Tears well in your eyes as you look at your best friend. “No,” you admit. “I’m not okay. I’m frustrated because today’s been a really good day, but I still want to cry for hours even though I don’t have a reason to cry.”
Charlie walks over to you and envelopes you in his arms. You bury your face in his chest as he says, “It’s okay to have bad days, Y/N. You’re allowed to have bad days even though the day overall was a good day. You just need to take extra care of your mental health when you’re having a bad day.”
You pout and say, “I don’t know why you’re always right here to help me like this. I’m a mess and probably a royal pain in the butt when I’m like this.”
“I’m here because I care about you,” he tells you. “And I’m not going anywhere so you better get used it it quickly.” A chuckle passes your lips and you look up at Charlie. “There’s the laugh I love so much.”
Your face turns a light shade of pink as you ask, “Can we just have a sleepover? Just you and me?”
He smiles and nods. You get snacks ready for the night before you snuggle up to Charlie in your bed. The two of you spend all the time you’re awake talking or watching Netflix until you’re both asleep.

=Not So Cool= Alive!Luke x Fem!Reader
(Not My Gif)
Description: Luke can proudly say he likes his bandmate's sister, Y/N. But, what happens when a messed up situation turns into him confessing?
Warnings: ANGST! Typos, bad writing, mentions of alcohol, mild swearing, mild suggestiveness.
=Not So Cool=
“Hey Y/N!” I say when she slams her locker shut.
“Luke!” She exclaims. “You nearly gave me a heart attack,” she says.
“Yeah, I tend to have that effect on a lot of people,” I joke, staring at the way she rolls her eyes. “Here!” I perk up. “Let me take that for you,” I offer, gesturing to her textbooks.
“No, it’s okay I got it,” she protests.
But, ignoring them I grab her books, holding them tightly in my arms. “Let’s go.” I flash her a smile which she doesn’t react to. With the lack of affection, I couldn’t help but feel a small pain in my chest.
“Sure,” she gives in, walking alongside me. If I didn’t have these books in my hands I could've gotten the chance to ‘accidentally’ brush my hand against hers. When we get to the door of the classroom I start handing the textbooks, and journals over to her. “Oh,” I let out when I looked down at her feet.
“What?” A worried look takes over her features.
“Oh, nothing! It’s just your shoe is untied,” I inform. I kneel, so I can tie it. “Don’t want you falling and getting hurt, do we?” I tease, playfully, sending a wink her way.
I take note of the way a subtle rose tint finds their way to her cheeks. “No, we do not,” she remarks. “Well, you should be getting to class, unless you’re too cool for that.” She punches my shoulder, making me roll my eyes.
Our laughs combine loudly, other students sending us weird looks. “I’ll see you at rehearsal after school today, ‘Kay?” My heart plummets.
“What?” Did I hear that right? “But… But, you never come to rehearsal, why today? Today?” I make hand gestures as I grow more nervous than ever.
“Yeah, I um--Alex he--” she takes a deep breath, looking at the ceiling. “He’s been trying to convince me for a while, and I said I’ll go if he finds out one secret about me, and if I don’t go the day he said I had to go, he’ll reveal it. Blackmail,” she adds at the end which works for me because I couldn’t quite understand what she was saying.
“Oh,” I whisper. “But, why today?” I ask again.
“Luke! Why are you so…” Her mouth hangs open, and I have to resist the urge to shove my tongue into it.
“I-I gotta go to class.” I point behind me. “Catcha later then?”
She nods with a bright smile. “Of course.”
I turn on my heels, walking away. Guys waved at me, girls swooned over me, but it hit me.
I fucked up.
“What did you do?” Alex asks.
School was over and I wasted no time to get over to the studio, and fix what I did. “Okay, so I got a little drunk the other night, and I may have invited some girl, thinking it was…” I wave my hand around, struggling to tell Alex the certain feelings I’ve developed for his sister. Alex raises an eyebrow.
“Thinking it was who?!” Reggie shouts, the suspicion killing him. “You can’t leave me hanging.” He grabs onto my shoulders, roughly.
“It’s Y/N, okay! I thought I was texting Y/N, but I guess I didn’t need to due to yours--” I point to Alex, “--and Y/N’s deal, and of course you had to make it today, the only time I could really prove myself to Y/N, and now I have to deal with some random girl who wouldn’t take no for an answer.”
“Dude,” Alex says, standing up. “It’ll be okay.” He pats me on the back. “If she really seems that upset about it, then just tell her the truth.”
I scoff. “Like she’d believe me…”
“What does this other girl look like?” Reggie asks, completely ignoring the point of this conversation.
“She should be here soon, so you’ll see for yourself,” I inform looking down at my phone, the worry, and concern evident in my voice.
“I can always reschedule Y/N to come on another day,” Alex suggests. “I just chose today randomly, obviously someone above, or below has a problem with you.”
I rolled my eyes, but before I could say anything we all noticed a familiar girl walk in. “You’re here!” I smile at Y/N, who’s giving me an amused smirk.
“I did say I’d be here, didn’t I?” She scrunches her face up, a habit I’ve noticed she does when she’s confused, or trying to remember something. She’s so cute.
“Yeah, no you did, I just--it’s weird seeing you here…” I find myself getting lost in her eyes, they always found a way to hypnotize me. They have this certain sparkle to them.
My smile drops. “God help me now,” I mutter under my breath.
A short girl with dark brown hair runs in, jumping onto me, so I’m forced to hold her. “I’m so happy to see you!” She pinches my cheeks. “You haven’t changed much since we last were together. I’m so happy you invited me!” She hugs my neck, nearly suffocating me.
“Okay, okay!” I laugh, setting her down. “Y/N this is Victoria--”
“Vanessa,” the girl corrects. (Sorry if that’s your name, you can always change it if you’d like)
“Right,” I reply, not really caring.
“His girlfriend,” Vanessa adds.
My head looks at her in alarm. “No, not girlfriend, not even a friend, to be honest, you’re not even supposed to be here, I didn’t invite you.”
She just let’s a hum. “Your text message proves otherwise.”
Never in my life have I wanted to scream so bad. “Let’s just get started,” I utter in anger and defeat, both Reggie and Alex giving me sympathetic glances.
Y/N cautiously sits down on the other side of the couch, as far away as she can get from the crazy girl. She shifts around in her seat, uncomfortable with the whole situation, and I can’t blame her. “A one! Two! A one, two, three, four!” Alex shouts, tapping his drumsticks together.
“Take off, last stop!” I start to sing. “Countdown till we blast open the top. Face first, full charge! Electric hammer to the heart… Clocks move forward, but we don’t get older, no! Kept on climbing, till our stars collided. And all the times we fell behind were just the key to paradise!”
“Don’t look down, ‘cause we’re still rising up right now,” we all sing together. “And even if we hit the ground, we’ll still fly. Keep dreaming like we’ll live forever, but live it like it’s now or never.”
“Woah!” I cheer. “Hear the noise in my head. It’s calling out like a voice I can’t forget.” I close my eyes, getting into the song. “One life, no regrets, catch up, got no time to catch my breath.” When I open my eyes I see Y/N tapping her foot on the floor, and bobbing her head. “Clocks move forward, ‘cause it all we’re after now, oh! Won’t stop climbing, yeah. When all the days felt black and white, those were the best days of my life!”
“Don’t look down, ‘cause we’re still rising up right now.” Y/N stands up, dancing around the room. “And even if we hit the ground, we’ll still fly. Keep dreaming like we’ll live forever, but live it like it’s now or never.”
“We ain’t searching for tomorrow,” Alex sings, which I know makes Y/N happy. “‘Cause we got all we need today.”
“Living on a feeling that’s been running through our veins,” I sing.
“We’re the revolution that’s been singing in the rain,” Reggie sings, pushing his hair to the side.
“Don’t look down, ‘cause we’re still rising up right now.” Y/N claps to the song with us. “And even if we hit the ground… We’ll still fly. Keep dreaming like we’ll live forever, but live it like it’s now or never.”
“It’s now or never!” I hit the high note, smiling to myself when it’s perfect.
The song stops, both Vanessa and Y/N clapping.”That was so, fucking, amazing!” Y/N compliments. “I’m serious!”
“Babe! I didn’t know how talented you were,” Vanessa says, and I cringe.
“I knew,” Y/N blurts. “I mean--” she lets out a nervous giggle. “Why wouldn’t he be?”
Suddenly I’m a mess. Those words make my heart beat a million miles per second, and her smile that she flashes me is enough to make me weak in my legs, and faint.
“Are you okay?” Y/N asks, looking down concerned.
“Wh-what happened?” my voice comes out groggy.
“You just passed out!” Alex reports.
“Here.” Y/N walks off. “Drink some water.” She hands me her light, pastel pink water bottle. “It’ll help.” She kneels down beside me, helping me sit up. “Your little girlfriend ran out on you,” she teases.
“She’s not my girlfriend.” My tone comes out a little harsher than I intended it to be.
“I figured,” she comments, not being fazed by my last words.
“Where’d the guys go?” She frowns realizing they all disappeared.
“Don’t know,” she answers, but I had a feeling of what they’re trying to pull off. “What’s up?” she asks, when she notices me fidgeting. “You aren’t going to pass out on me again, are you?”
I try to laugh with her, but it comes out forced. “Y/N, can I… Tell you something?”
“Luke, you can tell me anything.” She grabs my arm, her touch makes my whole body feel on fire.
“I like you.” My voice shakes, looking directly into her eyes. “Like a lot.”
It goes quiet, and it seems she’s become frozen. “Oh,” is all she says.
“Oh?” I repeat, furrowing my eyebrows. “That’s all you have to say is ‘oh’?” I couldn’t tell what was going through her mind.
“I don’t know what to say.” She slowly stands up, helping me. I sway on my feet, as she tries to steady me. “I’m just a little confused is all.”
“What is so confusing, I like you, do you like me?” I form my lips into a tight line. This was definitely not how I expected this conversation before.
“I liked you,” she claims.
“You liked me? As in past tense?” I scratch the back of my head.
“Yeah, I did, until I overheard you talking about me.”
I’m taken aback by this. I talk about her a lot, so I’m not surprised she would hear something, but it’s all good things. Right? “What conversation?” I ask, urgently.
Y/N was looking around everywhere, high and low for Luke. Her brother, Alex, has been giving her hints that her crush may like her back, and if Alex thinks that it has to be true. He knows everything. She just needed confirmation from the Devil himself. When her eyes met the head of the brown haired boy her heart nearly jumped out of her chest. Her feet move before she can think, about to call his name. “I thought you and that girl were dating?” some red hair, that Y/N can sort of recognize, guesses.
“Who? Y/N?” Luke laughs. “No, no, we’re… She’s my best friend's sister, and he just wants me to look after her. You know, make sure she doesn’t get into any trouble, but no, we are definitely not dating. Ew.” He shivers in disgust.
The girl laughs. “Yeah, that’s what I thought too,” she jokes, making Luke laugh.
“For someone who’s the sister of an amazing drummer. She’s not so cool.” Y/N’s heart stung. Is that what he really thinks? That’s what she asked herself.
“She’s a freak!” the girl responds.
“Sometimes I would flirt, or do something to see how she reacts, and just send signals, because her facial expressions are hilarious, it almost makes me think she likes me.”
“Gross,” the girl comments.
“I know!” Tears fill Y/N’s eyes, clutching her binder close to her chest. She turns on her heels, running off to the bathroom. She never did tell Alex or Reggie, she never brought it up, but the memory lingers in the back of her mind all the time. Leaving her heartbroken.
My heart drops. Tears fall down those beautiful eyes of hers, and I have to hold back the strong urge to wipe them away. “Y/N,” I whisper, finally reaching out to her.
“Stop.” She holds up her hand. “Am I just a joke to you?”
“No!” I exclaim. “No, c’mon you don’t understand, I didn’t mean any of that, I swear to you.” I reach out for her hand, but she moves farther away from me.
“Yeah right!” She lets out a cold bitter laugh.
My world suddenly goes dull. I remember that day, it was the day I saw Y/N talking to some guy, she was touching his arm, and he was making her laugh. I wanted to just go up to her right there and say that she was mine. I was so angry, I was trying to forget about her and-- “No!” I shout.
“No, you have to hear me out, that’s all I’m asking for you to do, is to just hear me out.” She stares at me, unsure of what she should do, but as I’m silently begging her I see her give a slight nod, sitting down on the couch.
“You have five minutes,” she utters.
“That day, okay, I saw you talking to that one guy with the blonde hair.” My mouth hangs open as I struggle to talk. “I-I was-you were laughing! And touching him, and all of--I was jealous! Alex was giving me hints that you liked me, so I went looking for you, I was going to tell you everything and then I saw that. I only said that stuff because I wanted to believe you were all of those, but you’re not. You’re more than just my best friend's sister. I want you to be more than that.”
A loud silence fills the room, hot tears streaming down my face as the thought of her not believing me roams in my mind. “I was trying to find you,” she whispers.
“What?” I cautiously move to sit down next to her, and to my surprise she allows it.
“I was trying to find you too, Alex was doing the same thing, after that I went to find you, because I couldn’t handle guys trying to make me see them the way I see you, and then I heard that conversation.” She takes a deep breath. “But, I don’t know how we’ll fix this.”
“I hear your words, but I can’t see them. And there’s always going to be that ‘what if?’ we’re tainted, Luke.” She grabs my hand. “Maybe one day, but for now, let’s just take it slow…” I didn’t know I could feel this way, I didn’t know that your whole body can shatter this way.

Being the only girl in Sunset Curve has its perks, but also definitely has its downsides. The guys are protective over you, but sometimes they’re so overprotective of you when they don’t need to be. Changing in front of them isn’t the funnest thing in the world either, which you’ve needed to do several times.
You get along pretty well with Reggie and Alex. Alex is your brother so you always get along with him. Reggie is your crazy best friend. The two of you have been inseparable since Alex invited you to join the band.
There is someone you can’t stand in the band though, and that someone is Luke Patterson. He has a huge ego almost all the time, and he likes to make some jokes about the fact that you’re the only girl in the band. Luke loves to say things like “you’re only in the band because Alex is your older brother” and “make sure you thank your brother for the opportunity to join our band”.
Luke’s comments erk you in so many ways, so whenever he makes a comment, you come up with a snarky reply. You can’t stand him, but you have to tolerate him for the sake of the band.
Today, you’re practicing Now or Never with the guys in the studio. You’re their rhythm guitarist since their old guitarist quit on them last year.
Luke’s singing into his microphone as the four of you play your instruments. You occasionally glance over at him as he plays. Just because you stand can’t him, doesn’t mean he’s attractive.
Distracted, you mess up a note and the guys look at you. Everyone stops and Alex asks, “You good, little sis?”
“All good,” you tell him. “My finger just slipped. That’s all. Run it back?”
Luke rolls his eyes, playing the opening riff again. You ask, “Do you have a problem with me, Luke?”
He looks over to his right, looking at you. “We were doing really good until your finger slipped,” he says, quoting ‘finger slipped’.
You roll your eyes and say, “Well, that’s what happened. My finger slipped. I’m sorry if you think I’m lying, Luke.”
“Wouldn’t be the first time you lied about why you messed up,” Luke says to you, turning toward you.
Alex looks at Reggie, saying, “Let’s go get something to eat. They’re going to go at it again and I don’t feel like listening to this.” Reggie nods and the two of them leave the studio.
You pull off the guitar that’s on your shoulder and look at Luke. “Are you kidding?” you say. “I’m not perfect, Luke. Sometimes my fingers will slip and I’ll mess up. You can’t tell me you’ve never messed up playing guitar.”
Luke puts his guitar on the stand and says, “I’m saying it’s not the first time that you’ve lied about why you messed up. Don’t think I didn’t see you in my peripheral vision, Y/N. I saw you look at me occasionally.”
Great, now I’m fueling his already huge ego.
“You know what Luke? Fuck you,” you spit at him. That’ll deflate his giant ego a little bit.
He smiles and asks, “When and where?” Mission failed.
You open your mouth to say something but nothing comes out. Two can play at this game though. “Here and now,” you say, smirking and crossing your arms over your chest.
After a moment of silence between the two of you, Luke takes a few steps toward you. In one swift movement, Luke cups your face in his hands and pulls you into a rough kiss. Although surprised, you kiss him back. You feel Luke’s tongue swipe across your bottom lip and you part your lips slightly. Luke slips his tongue into your mouth and you groan. You grab a fistful of Luke’s shirt and pull him closer to you.
Luke’s fingers slip into your hair, holding you close to him. You have to pull back because this shouldn’t be happening. You shouldn’t makeout with the guy you can’t stand.
“I was kidding, Luke,” you tell him out of breath from the kiss.
He looks down at you and says, “I wasn’t.”
You blink at him and begin to ask, “You actually want to-”
He cuts you off with another kiss. You inhale sharply, still not used to the idea of Luke kissing you. You couldn’t stand him because of all his jokes and comments, but now you’re standing here and not pulling away as soon as he kisses you.
You shouldn’t want to, but you do. Luke’s attractive and you used to have a huge crush on him before joining the band. Alex always told you that Luke was bad news and to not get involves with him. Something about bad boys always turned you on.
The kiss is deepened and you begin to push Luke toward the couch. Your lips stay connected as you push him onto the couch. You crawl onto his lap, straddling his thighs.
Luke pulls back from the kiss and looks up at you with hopeful eyes. You look down at him and say, “Maybe I want to too.”
“You hate me,” he says softly.
You let out a breathy laugh and say, “Sometimes I hate you, sometimes I love you. You’ll never know.”
He pulls you down into a kiss. It’s not long before you’re both stripped out of your clothes and Luke is on top of you, making you feel really good.
