hi there!!! I love your blog!!! I know you’re mainly a Chilchuck girlie, but I saw that you occasionally do Laios headcanons/drabbles, and I’m a massive Laios simp. if you have the time and inclination, would you maybe write about Laios realizing he’s falling for a reader who is also autistic like he is? and they’re both so in love with each other, but they don’t realize it bc they’re both idiots, so the party has to set them up lmao

Tumblr media
It was more than obvious to anyone but the two of you, much to the party’s displeasure. The mutual pining between you had been a constant back and forth for what felt like ages, and it was almost humorous how in denial it seemed you were.
Laios always spent time chatting with you before bed, his soft voice carrying so much warmth. You always noted how fuzzy your head felt whenever he’d talk about something he was especially interested in. It was almost heartbreaking to part with him to finally rest, longing to continue the conversation for as long as you could.
Little did the two of you know that the rest of the party had their eyes on you, tired sighs leaving each of them. This was every night now, and the fact neither of you were making an effort to come to terms and admit what you were feeling was beginning to become tiresome.
Chilchuck huffed, head in the palm of his hand. “I can’t believe that this is still going on. I’m tired of it.”
Marcille tutted, but the frustration at both of your ignorances was seeping through. “There’s got to be something we can do. They’re obviously so in love with each other...”
And right she was, with how absolutely enamored Laios had become. He’d never felt this way about anyone, the feeling seeping into his bones slowly but surely. With every smile you gave him, words of encouragement, or even reassuring touches, you made yourself at home in his mind and heart. Laios was content with just the whispered conversations and adventures together, not quite piecing together the entire situation just yet.
Marcille was not so sure that was something to be content with. Izutsumi was also getting fed up with the constant beating around the bush, and Chilchuck was sick and tired of watching this ordeal occur. The three of them had decided that enough was enough, and through gossip-like whispers, they decided on a course of action.
“I’ll try and talk to Laios,” Chilchuck settled, although he wasn’t entirely happy with the idea of helping an inner party relationship unfold. It was even harder to watch the two of you continuously pine after each other blindly, so he chose what he believed was the lesser of two evils. “You two convince you-know-who to get some one on one time with him somehow.”
Marcille hummed, finger tapping her chin. “Maybe we could get Senshi to cook something up just for the two of them, get them on a date of some sort.”
Izutsumi flicked her tail in annoyance at this entire scenario, before giving her own opinion. “Let’s just get them stuck in a trap or something.” At that, the elf across from her shook her head adamantly.
“Although that might work another time, I think setting them up would work best. We’ll all conveniently go off somewhere and leave the two of them to talk it out. Somehow…”
Thankfully, it wasn’t hard to get the two of you alone together. Laios would explain something about a monster your party had encountered earlier, delighted at your interest in anything he had to say. Before he knew it, the rest of the party had excused themselves after dinner, leaving just you and him with a cooked meal and unsaid words hanging in the air.
Even earlier, Chilchuck had decided to try and drill it into Laios’ skull that perhaps coming to terms and admitting what he was feeling wouldn’t be such a bad idea. Grasping for straws, Laios tried to create excuses that what he felt for you was just that of a close friend. There was no way he was falling in love, right? Yet, the look Chilchuck had given him shut him up quickly.
“You think friends just look at each other with that lovesick face you’re always making? And it’s not exactly hard to see just how much you care about them. It’s actually pretty obvious.” The half-foot grit out, floored that Laios still hadn’t figured out just how deeply he had fallen.
Marcille and Izutsumi had a similar problem with you, finding that you were convinced what you felt was just that of a deep friendship, of course you weren’t actually absolutely smitten with the man. Giving each other a knowing look, Marcille continued her prodding.
“I think there’s more to this,” the way she said your name so softly held your attention. “You need to talk with him. Maybe talk through just what you’re feeling.”
So now, as you took another bite of your dinner, you tried to figure out just what you were feeling. Laios was doing the same, and the silence, which was never a problem before, now hung with tension.
Both of you tried to speak, before signaling the other to continue, before giving a light laugh at the awkwardness. It wasn’t that just being in each other’s company was the problem, but more so that there was so much left unsaid.
Laios ran his hand through his hair, giving you that tender smile you had come to love so much. “You first.”
Another laugh left you, before your current train of thought followed through your words. “So I was wondering… Have you ever been in love before, Laios?”
That caught him off guard, swallowing hard before thinking of the right thing to say. “Well… I, uh…” A beat of silence followed as you let him find his words. “I wasn’t sure before today. What about you?”
Trying not to get your hopes up, or have the flame within you extinguished so easily, you smiled. “Same here, actually. I think…” You trailed off, just staring at his rosy cheeks and intent gaze making your heartbeat a little faster. Setting your plate to the side, you bit your tongue for a moment. Talk through what you’re feeling… You can do that.
“I guess I didn’t really realize, but… Lately, I’ve been really eager to be around you.” Your voice tried to fight back the tremors rising within you. Before you could continue, Laios grabbed your hand and gave you that intent expression again.
“Me too! I mean, I always really enjoy our talks. I look forward to them a lot.” He spoke a tad out of breath, trying to reign in how he was feeling. Another beat of silence, followed by the clearing of his throat.
“I think I’m in love with you.” You both muttered at the same time, before the feeling of both shock and excitement coursed through you. There was… no possible way, right? But with that doting smile and lovesick gaze he was sending your way, you began to think he did feel the same.
“Thank the gods,” you whispered, a huff of relief leaving your lips. “I had to have Marcille and Izutsumi make me realize.”
Laios laughed, cheeks flushed with delight. “Yeah, Chilchuck definitely gave me a talking to. I think Senshi tried to help me realize, too. It was definitely interesting.”
Both of you shared light giggles before Laios gently pulled you into an embrace. You wrapped your arms around his broad shoulders, nuzzling into his neck.
“Sorry it took me so long.” He whispered, inhaling deeply, the air leaving him in a content sigh. Your eyes fluttered shut, shaking your head slightly in reply. “No need. That’d mean I’d need to apologize too.”
You pressed sweet kisses to his cheek, to his nose, to his forehead. Laios beamed, intertwining your fingers as he spoke from the heart just what he had been trying to come to terms with. You did your best to do so, too.
Chilchuck, Marcille, Senshi, and Izutsumi all let out sounds of relief at watching the two of you around the corner. Getting both of you to finally realize the extent of your feelings was difficult, but oh so worth it in the end.
“Finally,” Chilchuck grumbled, before scratching the back of his neck. “That only took, what? Forever?”
Senshi grunted, trying to recall just how long it had been. Izutsumi even watched as Marcille rocked back and forth on her feet, a certain sparkle in her eye.
She’d have to get the two of you to be open more often.

₊✩‧₊ ⎯ sidekicking at dynamight's agency turns out to be more rewarding than anticipated.
cw // age gap (mid 20s & early 40s), mentions of divorce & a child, suggestive, not proof read ⇢  k.bakugo masterlist
Tumblr media
You’re a new sidekick at Bakugo’s agency, a mid-20 something who transferred from another prefecture after moving across the country. He’s in his early 40s, a well seasoned pro hero with plenty of experience under his belt and a successful agency to top off his accomplishments.
Unfortunately, he’s divorced with a kid that his ex-wife hoards from him. Sometimes, his son comes by the agency after school if his mom doesn’t show to get him - one of his assistants walks him home if he’s not in the office himself. It’s a messy situation that everyone chooses not to question him about, including the media. All it took was one stupid pap to ask him about his failed marriage to scare the ever loving shit out of anyone from asking again.
He’s not looking for anything or anyone, hasn’t been on a date in years, avoiding anything to do with “love” by busying himself with work, trying not let any of the dread sink in. His heart is too broken from the divorce and all the shit he went through with his devil of an ex-wife. It often kept him awake at night, adding to the bags under his eyes and the silver highlights in his ashy mane.
And then, there’s you. You’re a firecracker in disguise, passionate and determined to be the best damn hero at the agency. One day, you’re training in the office gym with the other sidekicks and become frustrated with them, unsatisfied with their bland routine. You wanted a challenge when training, something to keep you progressing and not plateauing. Stomping up to Bakugo’s office in the middle of the day, you bang on the door a few times impatiently, hands on your hips when he finally opens the door.
“Newbie? The hell do you want?” He grumbles, crossing his arms over the broadness of his chest. Even in his early 40s, he looks damn good, the perfect buff dad body. It may be littered with scars and stretch marks from weight fluctuation over the years, but he viewed them as badges of honor.
“The sidekicks downstairs are boring with training and I need something better. I’m not gonna stay stagnant with those rookies. I need a better trainer.”
Bakugo glares daggers at you, for both insulting the other sidekicks and interrupting his focus on the stacks of paperwork sitting on his desk.
“So you decided complain’ to the boss that provides the training was the smart thing to do?”
You huff, rolling your eyes and take a step closer to him. “No, Dynamight. I want you to train me. I need the best of the best to be an asset to your agency.”
The way you emphasize ‘I want you’ makes him flinch - a phrase he hasn’t heard in years.
“Ya think I have time to train with a sidekick?” He scoffs, ready to shut the door on you when you grab his wrist, making him jump from the contact. Your eyes lock onto his and a chill runs down his spine at your next demand.
“You’re gonna have to make time.”
That marks the day that you, the newest recruit, left the one and only Katsuki Bakugo speechless. He wanted nothing more than to laugh you off and shut the door, but he hurriedly whispered “Fine, tomorrow at 5am” against his better judgement, then slammed the door.
And thus began the tradition of training with your boss twice a week. It was rigorous, as you expected, but you were more than capable of keeping up with his pace. After a few weeks, he stopped acting grumpy about it and started complimenting your progress. You’ve gotten multiple reports back from other heroes saying they’ve seen an improvement in your work, and how you’ve been extending that to the other sidekicks.
What happened the next morning is something Bakugo still can’t fathom, nor did he think he could ever feel something like it again.
It’s 5am, a regular training session in the agency gym - like always. Today, he’s got you working on your hand to hand combat, focusing on grapples, pins and guarding. He encourages you to go all out, and you do, resulting in sweeping his legs out from under him to knock him on his ass. He’s about to say something snarky like “lucky shot” when you steal the breath from his lungs by following up by pinning him to the ground, straddling his hips and gripping his wrists above his head, chest pressed against his as you hover inches from his face, huffing with sweat trickling down your forehead.
Bakugo's mind goes blank and all his focus shifts to your body contact. All he can think about is the pressure of your fingers snaked around his wrists, the plush of your chest squished up against his own, how your thighs are clenched on his hips and the sensation of your ankles tucked against his thighs. He can feel his face heating up, and his groin, unable to look away or run off somewhere to hide. He's somewhat thankful you have his wrists pinned, elsewise he may have...no, he can't think about that.
"...hello? Earth to Dynamight?" you call at him, releasing one of his wrists to wave your hand in his face. "You okay? You're looking a little pale."
He violently shakes his head, clearing his throat before muttering, "M'fine, now get off'a me."
He scoots backward on the gym mat when you leave his personal bubble, tucking his legs up to his chest with his head on his forearms. He doesn't notice that he's biting his lip hard enough to draw blood and has broken out into a cold sweat. You're standing there, dumbfounded, and decide to call it off for the morning.
"Well, I'll let you get to work or whatever it is you gotta do. Sorry for knocking you on your ass so hard, Dy-"
"Y'can call me Katsuki, you know. S'not always strictly hero names around here."
Where the fuck did that come from? You barely know her.
You grace him with a smile, tilting your head sweetly. "Thanks, Katsuki. I'll see ya later." And off you go, skipping to the locker room to wash up for your shift later in the morning.
What the fuck was that?
Bakugo's stuck sitting on the mats a little while longer, desperately waiting for himself to cool off like a horny high school teenager. He's got a million thoughts running through his head, and the one at the forefront is you in the same exact position, only...
...No.
He can't think of you like that.
Can he?
Shit, he didn't even talk to you outside of mandatory meetings before this training bullshit. But he can't deny you're attractive, and your personality only makes you that much hotter to him.
And so, Bakugo walks into the shared locker room, purposefully locks the door and turns on one of the showers, as hot as he could manage. His back begins to redden from the pressure and temperature of the jet stream as he rested his forearm against the tile. Soon enough, all thoughts of you cumulated into the drain at his feet, ejected from his body and taken care of.
Until the next morning, where he finds you sitting at his desk with two coffees.
"Mornin'! Brought you a 'sorry I kicked your ass' apology coffee. Your assistant said you like it black, hope she was right!"
Shit.

Title: Stuck with the stranger
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note:so it's 2:40am I can't sleep and this fine man is in my mind, inspiration 'hating game' hope you have good day or night and don't forget to drink water ;3
part two
Summary:When You get trapped in an elevator with a charming stranger named Carlos, what starts as a stressful ordeal turns into the beginning of a heartfelt friendship. As you two share stories and dreams, an unexpected bond forms.
Warning: Contains mild claustrophobia and brief moments of anxiety.
Carlos sainz x reader
Tumblr media
You entered the elevator, you were accompanied by a stranger.
The doors of the elevator closed with a quiet thud, sealing you inside with a stranger. You barely spared him a glance, too preoccupied with your own thoughts. But when the elevator jolted to a sudden stop, the lights flickering out, you couldn’t ignore him any longer.
“Of course this happens today,” you muttered to yourself, frustration bubbling up.
The stranger beside you was already frantically pressing buttons, his expression a mix of annoyance and desperation. When it became clear the buttons weren’t responding, he sighed heavily and slumped against the wall, sliding down to sit in the corner of the elevator.
You glanced over, finally taking a proper look at him. He was fiddling with the bracelets on his wrist, clearly trying to distract himself. His features were dimly lit by the emergency light, but you could see he was attractive in a rugged sort of way, with a familiar face you couldn't quite place. He looked up at you with a small, sheepish smile.
“Doesn’t seem like pressing those buttons is helping much,” you said, attempting to lighten the mood.
“Yeah,” he replied, his accent a smooth blend of Spanish and something else. “I guess we’re stuck here for a while. I’m Carlos, by the way.”
“Nice to meet you, Carlos,” you said, settling down on the floor across from him. “I’m [Your Name].”
Carlos chuckled softly, a sound that surprisingly made you feel a bit better about the situation. “Not the best way to meet someone, huh?”
“Could be worse,” you said with a shrug. “At least we’re not alone. So, what brings you here?”
He hesitated for a moment, as if weighing whether to tell you. “I’m here for some work,” he said vaguely. “What about you?”
“Just visiting a friend. So, where are you from, Carlos?”
“Spain. And you?”
You chatted for a while, the initial awkwardness giving way to a more comfortable conversation. You learned that Carlos traveled a lot for his job, though he was still vague about the details. He had a love for adventure, often finding himself in unexpected situations, though getting stuck in an elevator wasn’t usually on his list.
“Do you always carry so many bracelets?” you asked, noticing how he seemed to calm himself by playing with them.
He laughed, holding up his wrist. “They’re kind of a good luck charm for me. Each one has a story.”
“Like what?”
He began to tell you the stories behind a few of them, and you found yourself genuinely intrigued. There was one from a charity event in Monaco, another from a small market in Brazil. Each bracelet had a memory attached, and you found yourself admiring the way he cherished these small tokens of his experiences.
Hours passed, and you both shared more than just surface-level stories. You talked about your dreams, fears, and the small moments that made life worthwhile. You were surprised at how easy it was to talk to him, a complete stranger. There was something comforting in the way he listened, the way he seemed to genuinely care about what you had to say.
Suddenly, the elevator jolted, and the lights flickered back on. You both looked up in surprise as the elevator started moving again. Carlos stood up and offered you a hand.
“Looks like we’re saved,” he said with a grin.
“Yeah, looks like it,” you replied, taking his hand and standing up.
As the elevator doors opened, you both hesitated, neither of you quite ready to step out. There was an unspoken understanding between you, a connection that had formed in the hours you spent together.
“I don’t suppose you’d like to get a coffee sometime?” Carlos asked, scratching the back of his neck nervously.
“I’d like that,” you said with a smile. “I’d like that a lot.”
You exchanged numbers and stepped out of the elevator, going your separate ways. But as you walked away, you couldn’t help but feel that this was just the beginning of something special. A friendship born out of a shared misadventure, with the potential for so much more.

Tumblr media

wordcount: +1K
a/n: Angsty incoming. Anon, I cut the request because it gave away the plot, but it's there, thank you for sending it btw ❤️
As always, I'm open for feedback, come say hi!
______________________________________________________________
The metallic tang of blood filled the air, acrid and sharp. You stared at Lewis' hands, once smooth and strong, now marred by angry red welts and split knuckles. The throbbing thrum of the club was a distant echo in your ears, replaced by the pounding of your own heart, a furious counterpoint to the ragged gasps escaping Lewis' lips.
"Why did you do that?" You spat the words, a bitter cocktail of anger and terror swirling in your gut.
He flinched, the sharp intake of breath making him hiss through his teeth. "Had to" he rasped, wincing as he tried to flex one of his mangled fingers.
"Had to?" You slammed a first aid kit onto the coffee table, the clatter making him flinch again. The smug satisfaction that briefly flickered across his face only fueled your rage.
"He wouldn't leave you alone," Lewis defended himself, his voice tight. "You wouldn't have liked it."
You threw your hands up in the air, disbelief twisting your voice. "I wouldn't like it if you ended up in the hospital because of some drunken idiot!"
He remained stubbornly silent, focusing on the sting of alcohol as you dabbed at the wounds with antiseptic wipes. Each touch was punctuated by your frustrated sighs, making the silence stretch tighter, a taut rope threatening to snap.
"What were you thinking, Lewis?" you finally said, your voice quiet but loaded with venom. "I don’t need you to act like some kind of knight."
A muscle in his jaw clenched. "I was protecting you."
"By playing hero?" You scoffed. "What happens when you can't? When you get seriously hurt?”
He finally met your gaze, the storm brewing in your eyes mirrored in his own. "That’s not a situation I want to consider."
The flippancy of his statement was the final straw. You slammed the wipes down on the table, making him flinch once more. Tears welled up in your eyes, blurring his angry form.
He sighed, a hint of frustration leaving his voice. "Look, I get it. You got scared."
The pitying tone did nothing to soothe your anger. You snatched up the first aid kit, shoving it back into the drawer with a slam. Your body trembled with a mix of emotions you couldn't name, couldn't control.
"I didn’t get scared, I’m always scared" you mumbled to yourself, the words a hollow echo in your mind as you stormed out, the apartment door slamming shut behind you with a deafening thud. Tears streamed down your face as you stumbled down the hallway, needing space, needing anything to escape the suffocating anger and the unacknowledged fear that gnawed at you.
The rhythmic thump of the city at night was a needed counterpoint to the frantic drumming of your heart. You found yourself wandering around Kensington, the cool night air doing little to quell the firestorm raging within you. Lewis' bruised hand, his cocky declaration of protecting you, flashed in your mind again and again.
The anger, that had felt so raw earlier, had begun to morph into something far more complex - fear, hurt, and a strange helplessness.
The truth, the terrifying one, was that you cared more for him than you'd ever intended to. But admitting that was a terrifying prospect.
He was an enigmatic F1 champion, the world at his fingertips, and he deserved someone strong, someone who could handle the risks that came with his life.
You weren't sure you fit that mold; you weren’t even sure you wanted to. Maybe you had fallen for the wrong guy, the one who thrived on danger, the one leaving a trail of worry and fear in his wake.
But you loved him, and until now that had felt enough.
Exhausted and emotionally drained, you found yourself back in front of your apartment building. The lights in your living room were dark, the silence inside a stark contrast to the cacophony within you.
Pushing open the door, you tiptoed inside. The air hung heavy, thick with unspoken tension. You caught sight of a rumpled blanket on the couch, a half-empty glass of water beside it. But no sign of Lewis.
You longed to talk, to scream at him, to drown him in the conflicting emotions churning within you. But your feet seemed glued to the spot, the energy drained from a night spent battling your own emotions.
You collapsed onto the sofa, the silence wrapping itself around you like a suffocating cloak, the smell of him clinging to the fabric of the blanket he had left behind.
The morning crawled in, a sluggish beast carrying the weight of the previous night. You don’t remember falling asleep but you woke with a raw throat and heavy eyelids, the events of the club a throbbing ache in your body and chest.
There, in the kitchen stool sat Lewis. His eyes, usually sharp with focus, looked dimmed, shadowed by fatigue as he stared into nothing. The sight of his bruised hands, still sporting bandages, sent a fresh pang of anger through you.
"Lewis" you started; your voice rough from sleep.
He turned towards you, a flicker of something resembling hope flitting across his face. "Hey" he said, his voice gruff. "You’re awake"
"Yeah," you replied, crossing your arms defensively sitting up straight. The silence stretched between you, thick with unspoken tension.
"Look…" he began, but you cut him off.
"Don't," you said, your voice tired. "Don't try to explain it away. You nearly got yourself seriously hurt."
He sighed, a deep rumble that reverberated through you. "I did what I thought I had to do."
"And what about me?" you sincerely asked, the words tumbling out, fueled by a night of pent-up emotions. "What about how I felt seeing you like that? Do you even care?"
Lewis didn't flinch. He simply held your gaze, his brown eyes reflecting a vulnerability that took your breath away. "That's exactly why I care" he said, his voice low. "Because seeing the fear in your eyes..." he trailed off, his jaw clenching. "It scares the hell out of me"
A confused silence followed. "I told you, Lewis," you finally said, your voice thick with emotion. "I don't need a knight in shining armor. I can handle myself."
"But, that's not the point, is it?!" he countered, his voice firm yet gentle. "You’re not really scared of needing physical protection. It's about..." He paused, seeming to wrestle with his words.
The raw honesty in his voice cracked the dam holding back your own torrent of emotions. Tears welled up in your eyes, blurring your vision.
“The danger. It's a constant threat hanging over my head. Every time you get in that car. What happens when the unthinkable happens? How do I deal with that?" you cried, your voice raw with a mixture of anger and fear. “Do you even understand what it’s like for me? To love someone who lives every day like it might be their last?”
Lewis sat back, his face softening as he listened, truly listened. “I know” he said quietly “I know it’s hard. And I understand that the way I live my life… it’s a lot to ask” his eyes filled with a quiet understanding. He stopped just before you, his gaze holding yours.
“And where does that leave me?” You asked, voice trembling. “Always waiting, worrying if the next race will be the one where I lose you?”
"Look," he said, his voice soft but firm. "I can't promise you there won't be any danger. That's the nature of what I do. But what I can promise you is I will always be honest with you. We can talk about everything, the good, the bad, the terrifying."
He reached out, his thumb gently brushing away a stray tear from your cheek. His touch soothing at your soul. "And if you ever, ever want to walk away, I'll understand. But please." he pleaded, his voice husky "Don't shut me out. Let's at least try and figure this out."
You saw the fear reflected in his eyes, the fear of losing you. And you realized, with a jolt that stole your breath, that this wasn't just about danger, about Lewis taking risks. It was about your own vulnerabilities, your own fear of letting yourself care about someone who lived on the edge, someone who didn’t exactly offer you the type of stability you had always thought you needed.
But Lewis was someone who gave you the kind of love you couldn’t see yourself without anymore.
"There has to be a line. A point where you consider the consequences, not just for yourself, but for the people who care about you." you began, your voice still husky.
He nodded, his thumb gently tracing circles on your palm. " We draw that line together, okay?"
You took a deep breath, finally acknowledging the emotions swirling within you. "Okay," you whispered, the word barely audible. "But this doesn't mean I'm going to be okay with every reckless decision you make."
A relieved smile softened Lewis’ feature. "I know" he said, his voice sincere. " We'll communicate, even when it's hard."
Hesitantly, you reached out, your fingers brushing against the bandage on his hand. The warmth of his skin sent a familiar spark through you. A fragile hope warmed your chest, battling against the ever-present fear. Maybe, just maybe, there was a way to navigate this crazy world Lewis lived in.
"So, what do we do now?" you asked, a hint of uncertainty in your voice. Lewis' smile widened, a genuine warmth radiating from him. "How about pancakes?"
You smiled nestling in his arms "Pancakes sound perfect," you agreed, the tension finally starting to ease.
"One more thing” he suddenly prompted, reaching for your face so he was looking at you “Yeah?" you nodded, eyes gleaming.
"No more bottling things up. Neither of us." He held your gaze for a moment, a silent promise passing between you. "Promise" you vowed; your voice sincere as he looked at you hopeful, his lips curling into the smile that had the power to make you forget about pretty much anything.

Jerseys vs. Hoodies - Part 4
| Rosekiller microfic | Word count: 524 | Part 3 can be found here |
-
“He’s going to get us back for that one, isn’t he?” Barty asks, staring after the place Regulus had been not two seconds before.
Evan sighs, slumping in his seat a bit, and taps his quill against the edge of the table. “Yeah, probably.”
“Lovely. Anyways, Ev,” Barty moves on easily, turning back to face him, “what did Reg mean by all that?”
Evan closes his eyes and wishes to disappear. He had hoped Barty would just brush it off, but no, Evan wasn’t that lucky.
He plays dumb instead. “Mean by what?”
“By “everything going on” between us and “dancing around each other” and all of that stuff,” Barty explains, reaching out to grab Evan’s quill and steal it away. Evan glares at him.
“That was blatant thievery,” he says, then thinks with just a touch of desperation, Please, for the love of all that is good, just let me change the subject.
“Thievery, yes, but there are no witnesses. It’s just your word against mine.”
And for a second, Evan thinks that his wish has been granted. Then Barty points the quill at him accusingly and says, “And don’t think that I’ll let Reg’s comment go that easily.”
Evan wants to die.
“I don’t know what he meant,” he says flatly.
He plucks the quill out of Barty’s hand and turns back towards the table, avoiding Barty’s gaze and trying to go back to his essay. But from the corner of his eye, he can see Barty carefully evaluating him. He’s barely moved from the position he was in when Evan took the quill back for himself.
“You’re lying,” Barty finally pronounces.
Evan sighs in frustration and drops the stupid quill.
“What do you want me to say?”
“Just tell me what Reg meant!” Barty exclaims. “And don’t try to lie to me about it.”
Evan narrows his eyes at him. “You’re entirely too stubborn.”
Barty just smiles. “You love it,” he says.
And oh, isn’t that just the problem?
Evan ignores the comment, though, instead thinking about how he can twist this to omit the truth while also not outright lying.
“Reg knows about our whole… situation,” Evan begins, gesturing between them.
A smirk crosses Barty’s face. “Yeah, I figured, considering the whole “bedroom eyes” comment. It’s not like we’ve been subtle about it.”
“Yeah,” Evan says, a bit distractedly. “Also, I told him.”
Barty makes a face. “Why?”
“Just… don’t worry about it.”
“I’m gonna worry about it.”
Would Madam Pince be mad if he started banging his head against the table? The answering yes in his mind is just about the only thing that stops him from doing exactly that.
“I’ll get there! Just calm down first, okay?”
“Fine,” Barty grumbles.
Maybe he should just tell him. Tell Barty the real reason why he’s wearing his sweatshirt. Why he had agreed to this whole arrangement in the first place. Why he smiles whenever Barty kisses him, why he always looks at Barty with a certain softness in his eyes, why their friends make comments about the two of them.
Maybe he should just tell him.

Seeing Magenta (NSFW) FT Arin

I sat in the dimly lit quarters I shared with Arin, freshly dismissed by the Imperio of the Tarkiran Empire. A tide of emotions boiled within me, paramount among them a seething fury. Arin sat behind me worriedly healing my back while she pondered my actions that had landed another one of The Imperio's captains in the hospital for making inappropriate advances toward her. They weren’t merely flirting; their intentions were far more sinister, and I made sure they understood that such behavior would have consequences.
As I simmered in my anger, Arin held me from behind and whispered, "Thanks, Daizo," her voice barely audible. I turned to face her, noting the shy expression in her eyes.
"No worries," I replied.
The air in the room was heavy with tension as Arin silently embraced me. "Why do you hurt yourself for me?" she asked, a note of concern in her voice.
"Because you are the only normal thing I have left," I answered, and Arin hugged me tightly.
"Ow, still bleeding," I muttered. Arin chuckled softly and continued patching me up. As she did, she traced the brand etched into my back. Her warm touch sent shivers down my spine. I was dubbed the Imperio’s warmaster, yet in matters where I was supposed to be involved, I was often spurned or otherwise ignored by her. It was a frustrating deal, to say the least, especially since we had reached an impasse. A stalemate had developed between the Tarkiran Empire and the Alaran Federation. The casualties and responsibility weighed heavily on me despite Imperio’s encouragement. Arin knew this, so we never talked about it, but I knew she was worried about me. I wished for the war to end so I could leave the Empire as the Imperio had promised, but it dragged on.
After Arin finished healing me, she noticed the fresh scar on my nose and gazed at me with worry. "Why don’t you use the Battle Mantle when you fight?" she queried.
"Honestly, I’m scared. I try to limit its use, saving it for life-or-death situations because I don’t want to lose control and go into a rampage," I explained.
Arin smiled gently, then let out a laugh. "Soul of a hero, heart of a greedy dragon," she said. I looked at her, puzzled. "You are so good-hearted, but they don’t understand that. The only language they speak is strength, and they see your 'mercy' as weakness. Please, the next time a show of strength is demanded, show yours—all of it."
I hesitated before saying, "What if I lose control again, like last time?"
Arin smiled reassuringly. "I will be right there, like last time, keeping you from being too destructive." I smiled weakly as Arin leaned in and kissed me, a hopeful gesture to make us both feel better. Her lips tasted like coffee cake, which was pleasant. Before anything else could happen, an alarm went off. We groaned and reported to the helm. When we arrived, all the Imperio’s generals and officers were waiting.
"You're late," one of them said.
"I ran from my quarters, which, if you care to remember, are on the exact other end of the ship. I got here as fast as I could," I replied. The general narrowed his eyes at me in thought. Before he could begin a snappy reply, the Imperio said, "Garudamon, stop antagonizing the boy." I turned to face the Imperio as she looked at me, her gaze fierce, her eyes piercing into my soul. I remained strong.
"You vex me, Autumn. You continue to show your loyalty to me and me alone. You attack my other generals unprovoked and with the ferocity of your namesake. Why is that?"
"They went after what is mine," I replied resolutely.
"You refer to your paramour, I assume. Surely you can share her?" the Imperio negotiated.
I paused, knowing my next words needed to be careful. "Would you have me share my arm with the generals?" The Imperio shook her head. "I know you may not understand it, but she is my... dren, and is mine to care for, as I am hers. We are one flesh. To share her would go against the covenant I made."
"A covenant you take higher than your Imperio’s orders?" the Imperio questioned.
I nodded, choosing my words with great care. "The god I serve would never forgive me if something happened to her. While I trust you and a few others present not to hurt her, I do not trust everyone." The Imperio smiled at my conviction, but it was quickly replaced by a saddened frown. She couldn’t let my disrespect appear tolerated, especially with threats of mutiny from several high-ranking officers who believed she "coddled" me (The primarch being Garudamon).
"Well, then you know what that means," the Imperio said with dejected reluctance. I grimaced as she took out her labrys, ready to punish me. I stood resolute, but the Imperio wanted Arin.
"Garudamon, bring Augumon’s dren to me. This will be a far stricter punishment, and the consequences will sink in deeper."
Before Garudamon could touch Arin, I threw my sword at his arm, causing a minor flesh wound but enough to stop him. I stepped between Arin and the rest of the crew, signifying to the Imperio that I was opting for mutual combat. "You challenge me despite knowing you will lose? While I admire your resolve, I must punish you worse," the Imperio said. I recalled my sword and got into a combat-ready stance. "Very well, I accept your challenge."
Arin whispered in my ear, "Show them who you are," so I did.
A familiar magenta and teal aura surrounded me as I let the Mantle of Battle Song ring. The Imperio saw this and looked at me with confusion.
"What is this? This is not your usual enhancement magic, boy," she said, bewildered and in awe.
I was silent as I lifted my blade and took a heavy swing. Energy from my aura followed the arc of the swing as it cut through the helm. Unused to this type of attack, the Imperio took the brunt of it. She barely recovered before I attacked her again, her movements lethargic as my magic had greatly sapped her energy. It was ironic, considering the name she had given me. I slashed at her again; she attempted to block but was a second too slow, my blade striking her shoulder. Despite its blunt nature, my blade still inflicted significant pain, and she endured another energy-sapping blow.
The other generals watched me in terror, seeing the crazed look in my eyes as I gave in to the Song of Battle. At the same time, they began to grasp the depths of my rage. I was ready to fight to the death at any moment. The Imperio, however, was all smiles. She loved seeing me fight with such ferocity; it reminded her why she had chosen me to join her empire and made me Warmaster. She managed to create some distance, but I was quickly upon her again. She smiled as I swung my blade, clashing with her axe. At this point, the "Greedy Dragon Heart" that Arin had mentioned began to awaken, and my aura changed as my rationality slipped and waned. The Fist of Dragons formed around my open hand as our duel continued. Arin watched intently, proud of me for taking her advice but worried about my self-control.
Another clash of sparks brought the Imperio and I face to face again. Her eyes met mine, and she was shocked to see nothing but a vacuous hunger. At this point, she could hear the Battle Song. She swung her axe at my head, but I intercepted it with the Fist of Dragons and disarmed her. That was when Arin’s voice reached me.
"Daizo, that's enough," she said. I stopped attacking and looked at the other generals present.
"Starting today, Arin is off-limits. While I may not win, I will ensure that every one of you loses before I leave her unsafe," I declared before leaving with Arin back to our quarters.
When we arrived, Arin was giddy, her face lit with happy smiles.
"That was so cool. I didn't know you could do that—using the Lost Beast Dragon's power," she said. I shrugged as we sat down, beginning to nurse the headache that always followed the Battle Song. Arin sat next to me on our shared bed, doting on me.
"See, it wasn't so bad. You just need some help. I know you don't like asking for help, but sometimes you need it," she said. I groaned, her voice usually pleasant but now feeling like nails on a chalkboard in my current state.
"Hey, Arin can you tone it down a bit? My head is killing me," I ask and Arin smiles with a pleased nod.
Her eyes take a weird turn before I can feel the Air around me warp.
"You know we didn't finish what we started earlier. How about we do that now," She said with her voice pitched deeper and Huskier. in her eyes, I see a wild desire that matches my own. she smiled before kissing me. She was the first to have her tongue give an exploratory entrance into the other's mouth. I happily accepted her advances, as her idle hands traveled under my shirt.  she breaks the kiss.
"I feel it inside you. The Lost Beast Dragon wants out." She says, "Please let it out."
Afraid I respond "No" and Arin pouts. Her magic washes over me and she says,
"Stop fighting it. you aren't two separate entities. you are one, now let him out." she said as she kissed me deeper
"I can't," I responded
Arin looked at me disappointed, and asked, "Why not?"
"I can't control it," I replied
Arin smiled and replied, "Then don't,"
"but what if I hurt you?" I ask
"You never really had control of it, to begin with," Arin flirted as she took off her shirt and went back in for another kiss. I felt safe in her arms and in that safety, I let my guard down. I let my powers mix and mingle for the first time and fully give in I watch as Arin smiles. my aura lifts out of me as it races to meet her as our lips crash. Arin becomes more aggressive in her ardor kisses, and I reciprocate. our tongues dance between our mouths as we create a frenzied tempo between us. She breaks the kiss and says.
"Fuck me!" she pulls down her pants and panties in one fell swoop. I smile as I unbuckle my pants my rod stands at attention for her.
"Oh so hard for me. I can't wait to feel it," Arin coos, as she sinks into my cock. she smiles at me with a lusted look which only makes me harder inside of her. I feel the Dragon begin to take over as she rides me. I take a firm grip of her ass and she moans before I spank her right cheek.
"Yes spank me," Arin says as she continues to ride me. Her pussy convulsed around me as auras mingle she looks down at my face.
“Open your eyes toy. I want to watch you let go,” she chides as she intensifies her riding me. I open my eyes but I can feel my body and aura changing.
I feel it gradually as her aura makes room for mine as she rides she also loses control and I see her moth Phoenix come out. She looks down at me her gold and grey aura envelopes me as we dive further into intimacy “Show me what you hide let me see if all. She moans. Her pussy is tight drawing, as her friction and as we reach our highs the barriers break and it occurs. We cum together and my beast dragon meets her moth Phoenix. Our eyes meet and I feel her love her aggression and her fire. She smiles and says I didn't know you were a wind dragon?” she says with a smile before kissing me. I smile and say to her
“I didn't either.”
We lay together for a moment then another until my cock begins to harden again. Arin moans as I am still inside her.
“Fuck Me,” she orders. I pick up her light frame and lay her on the bed before I begin violently thrusting into her she moans in ecstasy, “Oh good boy,” she cries as I ravage her lithe body. I moan out as her body reacts favorably to the sensations her pussy tightens and eases around my cock in a way that attacks all my weak spots and erroneous zones to where my mind is mush
“That a good boy give in to the pleasure, and cum.” her words cause me to erupt again as my mind can't process anything anymore. She smiles while watching me in a stupor. She leans up and kisses me. She smiles and wordlessly forces me hard again. My mind flashes and our auras mutate but I forget my worries as I mindlessly thrust again. Our union feeling so right overpowered the feeling of sinking feeling that I was crossing a very significant threshold with her. I pressed on as she encouraged me to fuck her, “Good boy keep fucking my pussy. Don't you like how warm and wet it is for you? It is all for you.”
I nod reduced to wordless grunts I continue to fuck her and as our orgasms hit something strange happens I can a little piece of my aura become a little piece of hers and a little piece of hers goes into mine. We breathe heavily as we come down from our highs and our words resurface.
“That was intense,” I said as we lay next to each other.
Arin nods and says. “We have never been that aggressive for each other”
I nod and say, “I think we completed some sort of mating ritual,”
“I think so too because I feel a part of you inside me, and not just your cum but it's as if a part of your soul rests in mine.” I chuckle and respond
“Same. So what do we do now?”
Arin smiles and says, “You win this fucking war so we can go home and get married,”
We share a bath and then go to sleep in each other's arms. I wake up early the next day feeling refreshed and ready to take on the day. I see Arin off to her training with Narset and go to my training with The Imperio. I feel a new sense of urgency instilled within me after my night with Arin. The Imperio takes notice.
The atmosphere was different when I faced the Imperio. She had this wild look in her eyes.
"What was that power you showed yesterday," She demanded without her usual greeting.
"The Mantle of Battle Harmony," I responded
"How do you use it? How does it work," The Imperio demanded.
I sighed knowing where this was going and hoping to curtail it, "I wish I could tell you as it comes from here," I said while pointing at my chest.
The Imperio glared at me, "Stop with the cryptic metaphors you're telling me that this is the one power you have no understanding or control over?"
I held up my index finger and said, "This is exactly the one specific power I have no control over or understanding of,"
"But you told me that it was not important and probably wouldn't see it all that often. From your demonstration yesterday, that was a lie." The Imperio questioned
I responded defensively "How so?"
The Imperio rolled her eyes before saying "You may not understand it but the way you moved the power you held it was incredible. It was the strongest I had ever seen and you expect me to believe that it was just minor?"
I shrug and reply "Well no it's extremely dangerous to use because I can't "Control it" It's like I am reaching into a deep, part of my magic and myself and using it, but that part of me isn't cognisent in the same way."
The Imperio smiled "Well, then we will just have to train it, and tame it."
I rolled my eyes this time and said "Oh right let's do that. It's not like I have been trying to since I was a teenager,"
"Well from what I have seen of you it seems like that was because the rest of those around you were cowards." she chides
"Hey watch it," I say
The Imperio looked at me confused, "Why? I am telling the truth. they stifled your growth because they couldn't see that you were going beyond them."
Guarded I responded "I never said any of that."
"You didn't need to. Everything about how you carry yourself and the fear of breaking things tells me more than enough about you to know. you live in irrational fear. Specifically of being considered a monster, but you are, and to win this war I will need that now more than ever."The Imperio said
I shook my head and replied, "No, you don't. What you need to do is stop listening to Garuda, because all he knows is how to not lose. that's why you're in this Deadlock,"
"Careful Warmaster I trust my vizier more than I trust you," the Imperio cautioned
Realizing my mistake I replied "I am not saying he's a bad guy. I do think he is but not for losing you the war. He sees this as a strategic give and take, and not for what it is and what will win."
"and what do you think will win?"
"A show of strength."
"Okay then show me. I will follow your council. You have the reigns. Show me how you win where I haven't"
My strategy was simple, instead of targeting military installations and combat supply depots we attacked all of their non-combat-ready ones. And crippled their economic and agricultural supply lines. Now we lost quite a few military depots of our own (I made a calculated choice to reduce manpower at them so the losses would be less devastating) I also made sure we minimized as many casualties as possible on both sides. This escalated the war of attrition to a new impasse. The Alarain could easily wipe us out but doing so would destroy their supply lines permanently as we had integrated fail-safe at every one of their locations so anything they took back was rendered useless within the hour. This allowed us to make a quick offensive to retake our resource lines back faster and we started to pull away with the war. Then that's when the peace talks started.
six weeks later the war is over. The Imperio follows my stratagems breaks the deadlock and creates a true impasse that allows for peace negotiations. The Alaran Federation and Tarkiran Empire have reached a mutual truce. The Imperio and the Council are overjoyed that the fighting is finally over. I had been with The Tarkiran Empire for Two months and ended a multi-century-long war. I was regarded as a hero but honestly, I could only feel relief I could go back home.
When Arin and I arrive back on with a ship gifted to me by The Imperio as a “retirement gift.” I was surprised to see it was the same as I had left it, with no cracks no destruction. We landed and decided to go back to my parent's place as they still would have my key. They were surprised to see me, more so after I told them everything (not the sex parts though) after that we went back to my place in the States and processed our next move.
"So what now?" I ask Arin.
"We go back to Korea and tell our friends we made it back." I nod and respond okay. So we take my ship and fly to Korea. and land on the top of her apartment building. We get into her apartment and sit down together. Arin finally decided to bite the bullet and call you and Hyeju. Hyeju picks up the phone and the first words are
"Where the fuck have you two been,"
Arin laughs and says. "Well good to hear from you too,"

i am so in love with the baby AU like omg you are THE BEST❤️❤️ Can you explain how the babies are reacting to the other drivers? (like how would oscar react if max pick him up etc.) i’m going to support this fic and your upcoming works too!! sending you much hugs🫶🩷
Thank you so much!!! I’m so happy you enjoy it!!!❤️❤️❤️ I can absolutely explain!
I gave brief overviews, I can absolutely go in-depth if you want me to. Just shoot me an ask! 😊
Max Verstappen
Logan and Oscar is very chill around Max. Max gives fun uncle vibes and honestly, he’s ecstatic about being an uncle. It’s like being a parent without all the responsibility and obligations of being a parent. He’s the kind of uncle that takes them on hot laps and throws them in the air much to the chagrin of their parents.
When they both start karting, he is the most competitive guest they ever invited. Like sure the parents are competitive, but Max is there for support and pulling Logan aside to tell him it's okay to send the kid that tried hit him in practice into the barrier to "teach them a lesson".
Checo Perez
They both like him. He doesn’t interact with them a lot but if they were in need of a babysitter, Checo is on the list. He’s responsible, listens to them babble on and on because that’s what he does with Max, and remember to feed them healthy food.
Charles Leclerc
Charles is great with kid. He loves kids.
Logan likes Charles a lot. He finds Charles really funny and in turn, Charles bribes Logan with vanilla ice cream and lets him play with Leo. He also dresses Logan up in either Ferrari merch or his own stuff to take photos and mess with the others. He also bought a Ferrari stroller to take Logan and Oscar around Monaco in. He is committed to turning them into Ferrari fans because everybody is a Ferrari fan.
Oscar is a little bit difficult to get into Ferrari merch. He is devoted to papaya and will squirm as they try to put a red t-shirt on him. Charles will sometimes pick him up from Lando's and Carlos's place in Monaco just to hand out with him. He can be seen walking Leo and pushing a Ferrari stroller on his way to lunch.
Fernando Alonso
Alonso is great with kids. He has a lot of energy which freaked Logan out at first but he quickly became a favorite. Fernando will put Logan up to things to scare his parents, mainly George. He’s convinced Logan to tell his parents and their team that Aston Martin is his favorite team and went as far as to train Logan to cheer when the Aston Martin appear on screen.
Oscar finds him annoying but Alonso finds Oscar hilarious. He's onboard for the Alpine hate. He finds Oscar silence funny and likes to mess with him to get a response. Oscar's response is a frustrated yell and bats his arms at Alonso.
Lewis Hamilton
Both children are in awe and a little bit of fear. Lewis has a vibe around him that seems otherworldly and the kids recognize it. He’s very fun to be around and he gets them a lot of snacks so they are always on their best behavior around him. Logan is constantly being held by him and Lewis holds full on conversations as Logan babbles and points. Oscar is silent the entire time he is held by Lewis, thought whether it is because of anxiety or because he's naturally silent, one cannot tell.
Lance Stroll
In one word, STRESSED. This man is stressed out at the idea of taking care of children and the children are both stressed out by him and for him. If one of them cries all three of them are crying. However, when they aren’t stressed out, Lance is the one who gives the most treats. Candy, cookies, expensive fruit, whatever they want. They are most peaceful when they are sat in a circle together sharing a box of cookies.
Yuki Tsunoda
Weirded out by babies. The can't walk on their own, have to be held, eat only pureed food- Yuki is not a fan. Is one of those people who just cannot hold babies. He sort of dangles them as they wiggle around. An unpleasant situation for both of them. The children, when they were younger were not a fan of being held by him.
He does however, enjoy their company when they are older and can eat solid food. He is committed to having them try a lot of different foods and they love the fact they get different foods all the time. It's really hard to live on a diet of only British food.
Daniel Ricciardo
This man is a child at heart. The kids find him hilarious and Daniel finds them incredibly amusing. He loves messing with Oscar by showing him clips of Alpine. He drives them around in his sports cars, takes them to petting zoos, overall fun uncle vibes.
Logan loves being around him. At first, he was really shy and Daniel's outgoing-ness only seemed to spook him but he warmed up after that. Oscar also finds him very funny but is very reactive to the Alpine clips.
Valtteri Bottas
Valtteri is great with the kid. They find Valterri incredibly amusing and funny. He's also the kind of person who would throw the kids in the air and catch them.
He is closer to Logan simply because of his proximity to Mercedes and Lewis. Logan sees him as one of the fun uncles in comparison to Lewis, who is more calm and reserved.
Zhou Guanyu
Oscar and Zhou get along very well. Both are very quiet and are content just being there. When spending time with him, Oscar is silently doing his thing while Zhou does his own stuff. It's a very compatible relationship.
Logan on the other hand, requires a bit more stimuli. He's easily entertained by videos of Zhou's cat, Sweetcorn. Logan loves animals put he can't have his own pet with al the traveling and they don't visit the UK a lot so Logan is very excited to see Zhou's cat, who is absolutely adorable.
***I am grouping them together since the response is very similar. I also find them to be much mellower people (with the exception of Alpine).
Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen
Both of the kids interact very little with the Haas drivers. Both the drivers are also responsible parents so they interaction that they have had are always positive.
Logan has been mistaken to be their kid before. He's a blonde and green-eyed, he looks more like one of the Haas kids then Alex and George's.
Esteban Ocon and Pierre Gasly
Oscar is not a fan of both of them due to them being Alpine drivers. If they come to Oscar in non-Alpine clothes Oscar is fairly chill but since they are usually wearing their team kit, Oscar goes into a full-blown meltdown. We're talking screaming, crying, hiding behind Andrea and Zak as if the Alpine is going to come alive and eat him.
Logan doesn't interact with the drivers outside races and a majority of the time, his interactions are heavily influenced by Oscar's freak out. Oscar, in all his protectiveness, will not let Logan be near them lest his best friend be harmed.
Logan's one interaction outside of the paddock and without Logan was when Alex was invited to a Redbull event with the current and former drivers. George had refused to go on principle seeing as he called them out for their treatment of Alex and the fact he raced for one of their rivals. Logan was sat next to Pierre at the dinner where he was fed different types of cheeses the whole time because they wanted to his reactions. He also found out he is not a big fan of chevre cheese.
Thank you so much for the ask! I hope you like it.❤️
Sending hugs🥰 Please feel free to send more asks❤️

Good morning from silly little drowsy me 😴😊
About...
"also horny all of the time so pretty much always erect or semi-hard😂😂"
Bc fighting and violence makes him extra horny.... BUT
Imagine that he has a temporary lover, a visiting lady maybe, and she is all soft and tender and loving with him and he lets her.... but after that violence or pain will just not do and he's like...
"You broke me!"
And she would have no idea what he's talking about but he drags her to his bedroom where a harem of women waits for him and he had his usual fun with them already but nothing works....
And the lady would still be confused af until he takes her hand to cup him and... nothing....
It would probably still take a moment for her to get over this scene and start to think properly but then she would just try "her way" (= a simple, tender, featherlight, softest kiss ever while pressed against him, holding him close to her as he practically melts in her arms) and he would be getting hard in an instant....
Then he is like, fine. "Take your responsibility, woman. We will marry today!" 🤭
Here I am, late to another ask😂
But I love this. I’m imagining that Feyd thinks this affair would be fleeting and quick, a fix of pleasure, and he doesn’t expect to become so infatuated with her. (It would be hilarious if she’s a Bene Gesserit and he swears she put a spell on him or something)
The lady would be nearing her stay and Feyd would start distancing himself because he can’t handle any emotion. The day of her departure he would try to bury himself into his concubines (literally) working up a sweat as he tries to fuck them until tears spring to his eyes. Feyd is frustrated because he just can’t perform, and it’s all her fault, so he storms to her quarters and drags her back to his where the concubines are waiting. Feyd would basically point to each man and woman and be like “look — look how hot they are. And yet I can’t fuck them. Because of you!”😂
And the lady would be very bewildered by this situation, blinking stupidly and trying to figure out why he’s angry and yelling at her.
Finally Feyd would demonstrate his sexual conundrum by grabbing a concubine by the face and kissing them before the lady. Then he would stride across the room to the lady and grab her hand and bring it to his still soft cock and look at her and say pathetically, “You have ruined me.”
The lady would understand finally and perhaps reach up to lay her free hand on his cheek. She would give him a gentle, reassuring kiss and in her palm she could feel his cock stirring, hardening beneath her touch. Feyd would then withdraw slightly and rasp, “You cannot leave me in such a state. I would like to take you as a wife as no one else will do.”

🪨Venture (OW II) x (gn) reader ⛏️
(Peak Miscommunication Short Edition!)
Tumblr media
(Picture’s not mine!)
(Request here! Sorry for making you guys wait! I’m currently feeling a bit sluggish from some outside stuff, hope you guys understand!)
- This phase in your relationship, the standstill that could make a platonic one into a romantic one was… Definitely a confusing and frustrating time for the two of you, especially for Venture.
- It was a feeling alien to them, being the beam of confidence, excitement, and bravery in every situation. They were out of their depth and they knew it, being absolutely transfixed on everything you did.
- Confessing and asking for a date felt like climbing Mount Olympus, they are eager to do so to earn your favor but the second they try to get to the peak they freeze, feeling as if Zeus’ thunderbolt has struck them and they’re left scrambling away like a fool.
- They never once felt like this, you had this effect on them that couldn’t possibly fathom. For once in their life of recklessness and glory, they were nervous.
- Getting a grip proved to be a great challenge, their bearings being dashed when you asked them questions based upon their knowledge, their interests, who they were as a person… You had an aura about you that they coveted and it showed rather negatively much to your notice and much to their chagrin.
- The unbecoming behavior of Venture of seemingly making excuse after excuse to get out of your presence after being so kind to you was… Disheartening.
- For you had fallen in love with their antics, their tendencies, their quirks— In general you believed them to be passionate and hoped that one day they’d have that passion for you.
- Eventually, it all becomes too much and you decide to put matters into your own hands and get to the bottom of this erratic mess and figure out why Venture was acting so… out of character.
- On that particular day, they had come to you, so ready to tell you only to have anxiety wracking their system as they froze in place once again before turning a heel— Feeling as if they were in fight or flight mode and opted for the latter option before they were stopped by the sound of your voice and the touch of your hand.
- They weren’t going to get themselves out of this… And that was probably for the best.
Face to face for far longer than they had since they realized their feelings for you, they fought the urge to shrink in on themselves as they took a deep breath before giving you a shaky smile. It didn’t do much to help their case as your gaze hardened a bit, the silence and tension was so thick it could be cut with a knife. You were the one to break the silence, your tone calm yet serious as you spoke “Sloane, you’ve been acting… Weird lately, and as someone who cares deeply about you, I can’t ignore it. I can barely get a sentence in without you running off to god knows where— It just… It feels like you’re trying to distance yourself—“
“No! No no— I’m— It’s nothing like that!” They interjected abruptly, both of your eyes wide from the suddenness before Venture looked down, slumping in on themselves, muttering incoherently as they ran a hand through their hair. “Then… What is it?” You asked, your words had a bit of wavering to them as you placed your other hand on their shoulder, making them feel as if their nerves were on fire, faces flushed as they squeezed their eyes shut. Their resolve was on one thing and one thing only, finally telling you how they felt as they took a deep inhale and then looked up at you. “Reader, I’m so so sorry that this mess came off like that… I’ve been struggling with telling you that…”
Their fists clenched and looked away involuntarily as they cursed in Spanish under their breath, stalling a bit before feeling your hands in their own, making their breath hitch and look at you all wide-eyed— Giving them the courage to say what needed to be said, “I like you— Like… A lot and… I was wondering… Would you like to go on a… Date?”
(…Lord they make me feel so stupid, in a good way.)

the reason why white liberals are often more frustrating than white conservatives when it comes to race is that the first group finds ways to convince themselves that once they know not to say slurs, their work is done
trying to explain, for example, the racism behind writing a nonwhite character as dirty and in need of white guidance, is like talking to a brick wall. sometimes POC can be messy! sometimes they have white friends who help them! you’re hurting my feelings by assuming ill intent!
i suppose when you live in a world that allows you the luxury of individuality and the privilege of never thinking about your own race, none of this makes sense to you. but if someone points out that something you did is racist, and you throw a tantrum about it or wring your hands and insist that you didn’t mean it that way — i’m so sorry, but you’re being a coward. you’re putting your own feelings ahead of someone else’s, because you’ve been taught that discomfort is worse than the actual harm you’ve caused
yeah, you didn’t mean to step on my foot. but you still did it, and it’s VERY weird if you demand i apologize for bringing up that it hurt
you’re a grown ass adult with access to the internet and countless books on this topic. the solution to that discomfort is not to bury your head in the sand and run to your white friends for comfort. the solution is to arm yourself with knowledge and unlearn everything you’ve been taught about how racism actually works
there is no quick fix. there is no youtube video you can watch that will make sure you’re never racist again. there is no class you can take or fee you can pay that will grant you Racism Immunity. sorry. you’re going to have to put the hard work in
“but what if someone says something is racist and it’s not actually!” you know, if you actually did the work and gained the knowledge, you’d know what to do in that situation
you have absolutely no idea how loud the cosmic background radiation of racism has to get before we start calling it out. if you can be angry and frustrated about trying to explain the same shit over and over again, why can’t we?

cooking chaos — sakura haruka x gn!reader
※ short drabble, 580 words. mainly crack. platonic/close friendly relationship implied. pretty much just sakura and his fondness of omurice.
Tumblr media
“Wait no, that doesn’t look right. Did you have the stove on high?!”
“Yeah, so it cooks faster. I’m already hungry.”
“But the omelette is burnt!”
“Shit!”
And that was yours and Sakura’s third attempt at replicating Kotoha’s omurice omelette. What was supposed to be a creamy scrambled egg-like center was dry and overcooked, and the outer layer was pretty much burnt with such a hot pan due to the long time you both spent trying to get the results right.
Hoping to somewhat salvage the failed meal, Sakura quickly flips the omelette on an empty plate you were holding; revealing the charred surface. “This is annoying to create” he mumbled, setting down the now empty pan back on the stove and turning off the heat.
“Well, we at least have decent scrambled eggs from our first two tries?” you tried to stay positive despite the devastating situation. You sure know from past experiences how frustrating it can be to not be able to cook something you’ve been craving for. Although while the solution would be to simply just go out and buy it at a shop, unfortunately for the two of you today, Café Pothos was closed as Kotoha was out of town to buy special ingredients.
“I don’t like dry scrambled eggs.” Sakura argues, arms crossed while staring holes into what is supposed to be his current lunch.
“Alright, alright mr. picky eater. Give me a few moments and I’ll see what I can do.” You laugh at the bi-color haired boy, throwing away the latest failed omelette before taking his spot in front of the stove and turning it on to a medium-low heat. “Can you set the table while I cook?”
“Yeah, sure, whatever.” Replied Sakura as he moves to get placemats, utensils, and cups from your cupboards. He has been here somewhat often since you both became a closer pair so finding the tableware is pretty much muscle memory to him now. Furthermore, it’s a lot more spacious than his apartment for cooking—or attempting to cook, at least—which is why the two of you are here in the first place after finding out the café was closed.
Breaking a couple more eggs and stirring the scrambled batter into the pan, you quickly stir the center with your chopsticks while slightly shaking the skillet similar to the tutorials you’ve came across on social media. It didn’t take long before the outer layer turned somewhat firm to be able to fold the omelette and announce its completion. Sakura walks over to see you move the omelette over a prepared plate of rice, which you then handed to him while he studied intently.
“I didn’t put in any poison.”
“I wasn’t thinking that!” Sakura’s two-toned eyes widened, blushing in embarrassment from being caught staring. “You knew how to cook and didn’t even bother helping me.” He expresses somewhat angrily.
“Well, I would’ve if you let me help you.” You shrugged then walked to your seat at the table. Out of your vision, Sakura was pouting and mumbling incoherent words you assumed were opposing your remark before taking the seat in front of you.
“Still, thanks for cooking for me.” He expressed shyly, which made you smile in success at your attempt of satisfying his cravings. Taking his first bite, you waited expectantly for his reaction; slightly anticipating some sort of praise for such good cooking.
“It’s bland. Did you at least added salt to this?”
“Ah, dang it!”

i really don’t want this to seem ignorant- so sorry if it does. But FOX did make Lonestar, which has a queer canon couple, a trans guy and other incisive characters
i know Oliver said FOX didn’t allowed Buddie but also kind of wrote it in but also pretended they didn’t but also had a plan they never followed through on, but FOX aren’t evil are they? I mean I prefer 9-1-1 over Lonestar but I liked the show and all the different characters they had (even if they made some bizarre decisions)
i’m not saying FOX don’t suck- but why specifically does the fandom hate them so much. Is it cause queer baiting (over buddie)?
I can’t speak for myself, but personally a lot of my issues with FOX handling the buddie situation was less so with Fox, but more with Kristen Reidel for coming in and completely sweeping away the setup that Tim had made for buddie at the end of season 4.
Obviously we only know tidbits that have been said in interviews, and they’re never going to outright talk about what happened (at least not until buddie goes canon or the show ends) but from the few things we’ve heard, it sounds like the sniper plot was setup to be bothe Buck and Eddie’s “oh” moment, and Tim had planned to explore that in season 5 to work towards Buddie canon.
However when Tim switched over to LS from 9-1-1, and KR stepped in, she and FOX both nixed everything that Tim had initially planned, and took the show in a different direction— this is why a lot of fans dislike season 5 and 6 (not because of buddie not going canon, but because it almost felt like a different show at times— and we all know the debacle that was the rushed plot wrap-ups at the end of s6 that granted weren’t entirely KR’s fault, but could have been handled better than they were)
So tldr, i think a lot of fans are more annoyed at the combination of FOX and KR both deciding not to go down the bi!buck route in s5 and eventually leading to buddie canon. at least that’s where my frustration lies, but everyone has different reasons. I think other people are aggravated by the fact that LS did make Tarlos canon but so vehemently disagreed with Buddie/Bi!Buck…. (that is not to say I don’t love Tarlos i absolutely do, but it is a little annoying that they would give us one queer ship while denying another)
(and to answer your question about FOX being evil- this might be my socialist brain talking but they are a major media corporation which to me automatically makes them icky bc their main concern is making money which means they really don’t gaf about representation unless it makes them money— but this also goes for ABC and any other network but i digress)
I hope this clears things up/answers your question? I don’t think there’s a really clear-cut across the board answer, but this fits with a lot of what i’ve seen/discussed w other fans.
Thanks for the ask, anon 💕💕💕

Can I request a hurt/comfort fic with a listener who's dealing with anger issues? Where the listener never told Andrew they suffered from those problems?
The listener goes to therapy for it but still has those moments where they just blows up, and in one of those moments they just blow up in front of Andrew(maybe not at him but that's your choice and I don't mind it).
And it would be interesting if it happened right after(or during) the second date, where Andrew was publicly humiliated by that girl😒
Srry if this is too long of a request! Or too demanding, I hope I didn't come out that way /gen
Not at all! Hope you enjoy <3
Injustice
Andrew Marston x Reader
The walk to Andrew’s apartment was quiet. Neither of you felt like talking after what had just happened.
The scene replayed in your head on an endless loop, the stranger walking up to you, spitting accusations and insults for all to hear until she ran out of breath and threw the drink in Andrew’s face. The gasp of the other guests, Andrew’s hurt expression, and the tears glistening in his eyes that he blinked away as he got up.
Once your thundering heartbeat calmed in the night air and the adrenalin died down, your shock slowly bled into anger.
It was quiet at first, resentment and disappointment lodged inside your chest, but with every time you saw that girl throw a drink in Andrew’s face, with every time you remembered how you had scurried out of that restaurant — running from the people that would throw judgemental glances and spread even more rumors — you felt your chest tightening.
By the time you entered the apartment, you were boiling with rage.
“I’m going to take a shower,” Andrew said quietly, shutting the door behind him and leaning against it for a moment. He was tired. The ordeal had exhausted him and he could not help worrying about how this would further besmirch his reputation and put a strain on your relationship.
“This is so unfair!” you exclaimed, raising your voice. The last thread of your self-composure had finally snapped, and you could not help but vent your frustration. “How could this happen? Why the hell can’t we even get a quiet evening!”
“I know, Darling,” Andrew said, pushing himself off the door and walking towards you, “Such is life, I suppose. We need to deal with—”
“Shut up, Andrew!” you screamed, whirling around to face him and pointing an accusing finger at him. “I don’t want to ‘deal with’ anything. I’m not the problem. We did nothing wrong! The world needs to get a grip and learn how to leave us alone. It’s them, not us, you understand?”
You were panting heavily, hands clenched into fists that were shaking with rage. This was not fair. The feeling of injustice made your blood boil, clouding your mind until all you could focus on was this overwhelming anger stealing your breath and making you see red.
“Breathe,” Andrew said, placing his hands on your shoulders. It was grounding, slowly anchoring you to the present and directing your thoughts away from the restaurant.
“Remember to take a breath,” your therapist’s voice echoed through your mind, “if things feel overwhelming, it can be helpful to step away from the situation. You can close your eyes and just breathe for a minute, or take a walk to clear your head and recenter yourself.”
You shook your head furiously, looking at Andrew, “I don’t want to breathe, I want to— I want them to leave us alone. I want to take you out to a restaurant! Why shouldn’t I be able to? I want— I—”
He sighed, slowly pulling you into his chest and giving you ample time to draw back. You let him wrap his arms around you, holding you securely as he guided your head to rest against his shoulder. “Focus on my breathing,” he said calmly, taking deep breaths for you to follow. “It’s alright.”
“It’s not,” you said, beginning to relax against him as you tried to match your breathing. “I can’t believe this happened.”
Andrew hummed, tracing small circles on your back and turning his head to place a kiss on top of yours. “I know, but we’ll get through it. This is just another challenge for us to overcome.” He paused, feeling your arms sneaking around him. “Do you usually get this angry over things?” he asked softly.
“I’m working on it,” you said, running your fingers through the hair at the base of his neck. “I’ve gotten better with my therapist’s help, but sometimes things are a lot and I can’t control my anger issues.”
“I see,” he said, “Tell me if I can help you in any way.”
You chuckled, raising your head and drawing back from the embrace to look at him properly. “You’ve already helped,” you said, straightening his glasses that the hug had turned askew. “You did it quite instinctually. Anyway, you should go take that shower.”
“Will you be alright?” he asked, eyebrows furrowing in concern.
“Yes, don’t worry,” you said, patting down your coat to make sure you had your wallet. “I’m going to take a walk and pick up some food on the way. I think I need that. I’ll be back before you’re done.”
He nodded, smiling as you kissed him before disappearing through the door. Nothing would come between you. He would make sure of that.

✧. ┊ No one’s a stranger to the familiar feeling of coming back down from a successful peak, the sudden feeling of clouded thoughts or the slow burn-out of your sociality or productivity being a familiar dull sting to your body and mind.
And sometimes you can’t understand just why you have to burn out, and with that comes along frustrations, anger, the tantrums inside your mind when nothing goes your way when you’ve already had a bad day.
Aohi’s world dulls to grey for a little while, the exhausting schedule and the upcoming recording for memorabilia took a lot out of her.
All she wanted was to sleep, maybe for a week straight, if she could, she’d hibernate like a bear. Aohi knows she can’t though, engenes would miss her too much.
Despite her frustrations with the slightly wrong tones or the wrong words being sung out, she trudges on, continuing to work, to rewrite, to practice.
She’s repaid by the loss of her voice, and recording’s been pulled back a week later due to the sudden situation. Aohi sits in her seat speechless when her manager explains it on the way to the studio.
“But then, why am I going if I’m being put on vocal rest?” Aohi’s voice croaks out. In a comical way, she sounded like a Justin Bieber when he was in his teens, cracking and going airy from time to time.
“I didn’t want you to come in either, but the studio was insistent on it,” Aohi groans, despite how hurtful it was on her throat. “Trust me, I tried to fight for a day off, all I could do was move your session to a later time tomorrow.”
“I can’t even do anything at the studio, the whole point of a vocal rest is so I could rest!”
“First off, stop yelling, don’t use your voice-“ Her manager looked up at the rear view mirror, shooting her a glance that told Aohi to fix her attitude.
"Second, just get through this recording, it'll be over before you know it.."
Aohi just rolled her eyes, feeling already irked that she had to come in today. Aohi stared out the window as she ended up tuning out her manager’s voice and locking herself inside her mind.
There wasn’t much to do for her especially when she had a sore throat, even if she could, Aohi doubts her current health would even be able to keep up with anything.
“Aohi, let’s go.” Her manager could be heard unbuckling her seatbelt, Aohi following. Aohi grabbed her phone and opened her car door, squinting at the bright sun.
Her instant response to the sudden rays was to put up her hoodie, entering the studio.
“Batsy!” Sunoo chirps, reaching for the girl before any of the other guys could call for her, and with her call, Aohi gravitates towards Sunoo, his arms taking her in like a cuddly bear.
“I missed you..” Aohi mumbled into his clothes, and Sunoo just hums and kisses her forehead, “gonna keep with the PDA or are we actually recording?” Xiulin amusingly spoke from behind the two.
And it would’ve been funny, if Aohi hadn’t hissed back at her. “Unnie, respectfully shut up.” Aohi replied with a hoarse voice, and Sunoo was taken aback by her sudden reply. Xiulin must’ve been as well, looking at Aohi with widened eyes.
Aohi’s furrowed brows seemed to soften after realizing the stunned faces across the room, and she sighs, pulling away from Sunoo.
“Sorry, unnie… i just… don’t feel well.” Aohi walks into the studio booth trying to rubbing her temple with a frown. Xiulin was still waiting out her aftershock as she just watched her dongsaeng walk away.
“What’s her problem?” Ri-ki pointed his thumb at Aohi inside the booth, looking towards the boys who looked equally confused. “I know manager-nim said she wasn’t feeling well… but she’s never snapped at me like that before.” Xiulin frowns at the booth door, rubbing at her neck in discomfort.
“It’s okay noona, I’m sure Aohi just didn’t feel up to the teasing, you know how she is..” Jungwon tries to ease Xiulin’s feelings, patting the older girl’s back to comfort her.
“We’ll talk to her, don’t worry.” Sunoo added, giving Xiulin a gentle and reassuring smile as the group trailed into the booth.
Aohi sat in one of the couches, trying keep to herself, quietly playing on her phone. The boys looked to each other, trying to figure out how to approach the girl without already irking her more than she already was.
“Heeseung-ssi, Xiulin-ssi, we can record your lines now.” One of the producers called the eldest of the hyung and maknae line to come in, and Xiulin glanced at Aohi, who glances at her and Heeseung.
Aohi quickly darts her gaze back onto her phone as she tries to focus on her games, trying to get the day to go by faster.
Xiulin sighs, looking towards Heeseung who was already waiting by the booth, he mouths to her as if to tell her, that the boys will handle it while they’re gone, and not to worry too much.
Jay decides to make a move towards Aohi, sitting beside her with caution. Aohi squirms at the sudden dip in the couch, but refuses to look up anyway.
“Batsy.. look at me, baby..” Jay encouraged, his hands gently reaching for her tense ones. “You want to tell me what’s wrong?.. we just want to help, Aohi, baby.” Aohi feels rather suffocated in Jay’s hold, and she knows he doesn’t mean to cage her in, but she feels like she can’t breathe.
Aohi shakes her head, trying to pull away from his hold, and Jay’s eyebrow twitches, his first indication that something was worse than just annoyance or tiredness. She mumbled something that Jay couldn’t decipher, he leans even closer.
Jay knew that even if Aohi was annoyed, she’d never turn down any of his hugs, even going as far to tell him that he’s the best at cuddling besides Ri-ki.
“Look at me, Batsy.” Jay reaches for her face, his gentle fingers barely touching her cheeks when Aohi slaps them away. “I told you to leave me alone!” Aohi’s voice croaks loudly, and Jake stands up from his spot in the room.
Her hand reaches to push Jay away, who seemed hurt at the way Aohi raises her voice at him. Despite being scolded by Aohi before, it never sounded worse like it did at this moment.
Aohi’s hand is stopped by Jake’s hand around her wrist, and her attention’s turned from Jay to Jake, trying to pull her wrist away from him.
“Let go!”
“Aohi, that’s enough! We’re just trying to help you!” Jake holds her tighter, and Aohi squeezes her eyes tight, letting out a sob. “I don’t want your help!” Aohi stands up from her spot, shoving Jake away.
Jake toppled over a few instruments, hissing at the impact. “Hyung!” Jungwon and Sunghoon quickly stood up, rushing to Jake’s side. Aohi’s breath hitches, and she sniffles, glancing around, Sunoo and Ri-ki looking at her with disbelief.
Aohi could feel her heart beating with intensity as she only looks for her only escape, running out of the room to the front door.
She has no idea where to run, but her legs certainly aren’t stopping, Aohi doesn’t register which way she goes, turning all sorts of corners, and the sun blinding her.
Soon enough, her body stops running, and Aohi has no clue where she is, she sits on a random bench, the area seemed deserted, some patches of weed growing through the brick path she ran down on.
Aohi brings her legs up on the bench, and she remembers that she’s left her phone at the studio with everyone else, and the air doesn’t do much to calm her.
She digs her face into her knees, and she could feel the familiar sting of tears in her eyes and she squeals into her knees, as if angry that she’s crying.
Aohi has no idea why she’s been so upset lately, maybe she needed to be alone for a while, or maybe Aohi felt like the world hasn’t been so nice to her lately. She’s tired, so tired.
Aohi just wanted to rest for a little while, and she can’t do that when her company wants her to go to these recordings despite putting her on vocal rest.
Aohi can’t afford to go home right now either, for one, she has no clue where she is and Aohi knows that she needs a ride to even get back to the apartments.
She only whimpers, and lets herself cry into her arms, pitiful sobs leaving like a lullaby from her lips. Aohi’s back shakes as her sobs continue, and she realizes that she can’t even stop herself or quiet herself.
And in an ironic way, the world sends a somewhat comforting breeze to her side, despite being certainly mean to her the couple of days, Aohi takes the breeze with gusto, sniffling as she’s blanketed with the wind.
Aohi cries her pretty little heart out in a deserted part of this random park, and she cries and cries until her eyes tire out, Aohi can feel the creeping tiredness loom over her as her eyes don’t fight the urge to close, to get sleep.
She just lets it happen as her eyes blanket her vision with darkness, and she sniffles once more, the need to sleep heavy and she doesn’t fight.
Tumblr media
The sun’s starting to come down, and Aohi can barely register the muffled call of her name. Aohi could feel the approaching headache from dehydration, obviously from crying her eyes out the previous hours, but she looks up anyway.
“Aohi.. wake up, damn it..” Ri-ki curses, and he sits beside her balled figure on the bench, he runs his hands through his hair, sighing out of worry and concern.
“nini…” Aohi mumbled out, and her voice is still coarse, maybe even worse than it was the last time Ri-ki heard it. Ri-ki stops himself from softening at the nickname she calls him, one that she got from other fan accounts on Twitter, thinking it was adorable.
“Do you know how fucking worried we were?…” Ri-ki breathlessly spoke, and he gently placed a hand on her cheek, his eyebrows furrowed. Aohi whimpered, digging her cheek into his palm anyway.
“I’m sorry, nini…” Ri-ki curses under his breath, and he takes off his jacket, placing it over Aohi’s body, he felt the alarming heat of her body on his palm, he stands up from the bench and takes his arms under Aohi’s knees and supporting her back.
He lifts her up with a huff, carrying Aohi bridal style. “Don’t think just because you’re sick means you’re off the hook for running like that.” Ri-ki walks down the familiar path, the sun was going down and soon enough, he won’t be able to see the path out of the deserted park.
“You worried the fuck out of everyone… Jay and Jake were out in the cold for hours, you left your phone so we couldn’t even…” Ri-ki blinked his tears away, the worry and the thought that something could’ve happened to Aohi overwhelming him.
“We couldn’t track you down, and who knows where the hell you could’ve gone?…” Aohi, despite being too tired out of her mind and sleepy, felt guilty anyways, she felt stupid for running then, and she still felt stupid now.
“I don’t know what I would’ve done if I couldn’t find you… hell, what would we tell the engenes? you hate disappointing them..” Ri-ki grits his teeth, it takes a little while for them to regroup with the others, and Ri-ki had gone silent from walking for a bit and he finally walks out to a familiar path, seeing the boys and Xiulin waiting anxiously by the van.
“You found her!" Heeseung sighed in relief, jogging up to the two, Aohi seemed to knock out on the walk, and Heeseung reaches to check on her.
"She's burning.." Heeseung curses, and he walks to the van and opens the door, "Let's get her home before she gets worse." Sunoo agrees, nodding as he climbs into the vehicle, helping Ri-ki climb in with Aohi in his hold.
"Careful.. she's going to bump her head.." Sunoo whispers, placing his hands on her head, looking at Aohi with worry in his eyes.
The boys and Xiulin are silently driven home by their staff, and they all apologize to the staff member for keeping them waiting as Ri-ki, bowed, before walking up to the apartment.
"Ri-ki-yah.. I can carry her.." Sunghoon offered from beside him, and he shakes his head, just continuing to walk up to their dormitory, which Jungwon opens for the youngest.
"Wait! You should bring her to our dorm, I can't take care of her from your dorms.." Xiulin voiced, and the boys turn to her, "Noona, don't worry about it, I'm sure you're tired, me and the hyungs will take care of her." Ri-ki shoots their eldest girl a reassuring look, and Xiulin can't help but sigh.
"But-" Jay shakes his head, asking Xiulin not to fight them on it, "You can trust us, Xiu, don't worry." Xiulin softly frowns, but she couldn't go up against seven boys, even if she wanted to.
"Okay, just.. make sure she gets some rest..." Xiulin reaches over and places a small kiss on Aohi's burning forehead, a quiet goodbye as she recovers in the boys' dorms.
The boys and Xiulin part from the stairs, and Aohi's brought into the boys' dorms, they all have separate rooms now, the countless complaints from singer to manager had worked, and given them some sort of privacy.
Ri-ki makes a quick move to place her onto his bed, tucking her with record-breaking speed, trying to keep her warm, feeling Aohi shiver all throughout the car ride.
Despite his worry, he still feels sour about earlier, knowing Aohi wasn't feeling well, and her mood was not best, did not excuse the fact that she ran off, and for hours they couldn't find her.
"I'll go grab a rag for her fever.." Sunoo whispers from beside Ri-ki, patting the youngest's back in comfort before leaving the room. The rest of the boys seemed to follow after Sunoo, quiet excuses pouring from all of their lips.
"We'll get dinner started, make her some food.." Jay and Jungwon walked out together, and Sunghoon runs his hand through his face, "We'll give you some space.." Heeseung pulls Sunghoon with him, who seems hesitant to leave Aohi's side.
"How could you be so reckless, batsy?" Ri-ki whispered, his tone scolding. For once, he was babying Aohi without any complaint. Well, not that she could anyway. "I thought something had happened to you.. and I wouldn't of been there..."
Ri-ki sat by her side for a while, he repositioned to the ground, gently rubbing his thumb against Aohi's palm. A calming gesture for both of them. He quietly watches Aohi's sleeping figure, and despite the underlying cringe from him, feeling creepy for watching her, he couldn't help but worry, truly.
"...I would've lost it.. batsy, I need you," Ri-ki whispers, and it seems like every time they were by themselves, he starts to speak in Japanese, like he's at his most vulnerable with her. "I need you like water, my love.." He continues his sentence, hoping she'll awake for a little bit.
Like a miracle, Aohi twitches from her sleep, and she lets out a quiet groan, her eyes fluttering from her nap, and she's faced with the familiar ceiling of Ri-ki's room. She calls for him with a broken voice.
"Nini..." And Ri-ki makes a move, sitting up on his knees to coo at her silently, "I'm here, lovely.." He feels Aohi's hand squeeze his, and he feels himself relax. Ri-ki is relieved, comforted by Aohi's presence.
"Why.. would you go look for me..?" Aohi croaks from her spot, looking at Ri-ki with a hurt expression, and he's almost confused on why she would ask such a question. "Why wouldn't we?.." Ri-ki tilts his head, his thumb makes comforting swipes at the back of Aohi's hand.
"You could've gotten sick.. stupid.." Aohi tries to flick up at Ri-ki's forehead, and he shakes his head, making her drop her hand. "I don't care about getting sick, I care about finding you." He replies, and Aohi sighs, turning her head from Ri-ki to the wall.
"I hate when you say stuff like that.." Aohi whispers, and Ri-ki is confused, sure, his words would fluster the girl, but her? Hating such words from him when she was as affectionate as him?
"Why? You and I both know it's true," Ri-ki responds, and Aohi makes a move to almost throw a slight action of defiance. "And that's what I hate about it, I hate that you're willing to break your back as long as I'm with you.."
"And it's the same for the other boys, and I love that you love me so much," Ri-ki listens, despite his dislike for where the conversation was heading, "and I love you all the same, if not more, but I hate that you'd disregard your own well-being for me.. I wish I wasn't that important to you.. any of you."
"How could you say that?" Ri-ki asks, standing up from his spot and sitting on the bed, and Aohi sits up from her spot, "Ri-ki, how could I not? Hell, you gave me your jacket even when you knew it was cold.."
"You're always bending over backwards for me, and I wish you'd be a little more concerned with yourself." Aohi looks towards him and Ri-ki furrows his eyebrows. "You're the same way."
Aohi stays silent, "It's the way I am.." Aohi fiddles with her fingers, looking down at her lap. "And so what? You think we should just take and take, and you get nothing in return for yourself?" Ri-ki assumes, and Aohi looks to argue, to deny, but words don't come out of her mouth.
Ri-ki waits for a reply from Aohi and when she doesn't seem to speak, he continues. "What's the point of us dating you if we'll just be selfish while you break like this?" Aohi still doesn't reply, and she knows there's nothing she could say to fix her words, and what she meant.
"Are we even your boyfriends that way?" Aohi finally moves from her spot, "Of course you are! I just don't want you to be so consumed with being with me that you just.." Aohi brings her hands to her face, "It feels like you have to take care of me all of the time, and I'm just.."
"I don't want any of you to help me because it's not your job, I should be able to do this myself!" Aohi sobbed, and Ri-ki feels angrier than before.
“if you didn’t want any of us to help you when you’re crumbling like this then why are you still dating us?!” Ri-ki yells, and it’s the first time in a while that Aohi had heard him so loud.
Aohi blinks at him and for once she’s surprised of the way Ri-ki stared at her with angry tears. Ri-ki was angry at her.
“Are you angry at me?…” She whispers, and Aohi doesn’t miss the way her voice quivers as she asks this to Ri-ki who turns away from her.
“You don’t know how much it hurts when we see you like this… when I see you like this.” Ri-ki sobbed, his fists grab at his hair, and Aohi makes a move to stop him, knowing it’ll hurt.
“I feel like the worst fucking boyfriend when I see you fall apart like dust and I can’t help you.”
Aohi doesn’t say a word more, unable to reply. Her tears cascaded down her cheeks and she pulls Ri-ki into her arms. “I’m sorry.” She repeats like a mantra.
And it seems like Ri-ki breaks alongside Aohi, and she starts to think that maybe the world was a little too cruel on both of them, or maybe she was being too cruel on him, on all of them.
how could she fix this now?
"I'm sorry nini... I didn't mean to make you feel like that.. I just... feel awful and I've been too cruel.." Aohi holds Ri-ki tightly, and she could feel her hoodie starts to dampen with the boy's tears.
"I'm so sorry... I feel like the worst girlfriend to you... you don't even know nini.." Aohi hugs Ri-ki like she could never let go, and she knows she would never.
"Then help me know, I want to, let me understand, let me help.." Ri-ki begged from her, and Aohi feels worse than she already did.
Aohi places a gentle kiss on his forehead, continuing her apologies. Ri-ki seems to cry for forever he felt like, he just couldn't stop, and his fingers had gone red from how tightly he held Aohi in his arms.
"You don't deserve such a cruel girl like me.." She whispers, lifting Ri-ki's face, wiping at the streaks on his cheeks, and with a quiet voice, Ri-ki speaks, "I want you anyway, I'll always want to be with you, even if you don't."
"How did I score someone like you, hm, nini?" Aohi laughed through her own tears. "I don't know, but you're never getting rid of me." Ri-ki replies, before taking Aohi's cheeks in his hands and laying a gentle kiss on her lips.
The two's lips intertwined like perfect puzzle pieces, Aohi's hand reaching to cup Ri-ki's in a warmth he'll never deny. Aohi thinks that she could never get used to how warm Ri-ki's lips were, always comforting her in ways she could never do herself.
The two pull away, and Aohi almost chases after Ri-ki, already missing him so close to her.
"...I love you, so much." Aohi spoke after a while, using her hoodie sleeve to wipe at her nose, and Ri-ki laughs, grabbing a tissue from his bedside, "Don't wipe it on your hoodie, batsy.."
"I really do love you though, you know that right?" Ri-ki smiles, and nods, wiping at Aohi's tears. "aigoo... you big baby.." Ri-ki kisses at her nose, and Aohi squeals at the ticklish feeling.
"You cried too! I'm not the only big baby!" Aohi retorts, gently slapping Ri-ki's shoulder, the two continued to giggle for a little before they quiet down, the only evidence of their silly behaviour being their smiles.
"Don't ever be scared to crumble, we'll be here to pick you back up... just like you are for us.." Ri-ki hugs her tightly one more time, and Aohi's never felt as loved as she was with the boys, and it makes her realize how much she could never actually live without these boys.
"So.. how does soup sound?"
"Sounds lovely, nini."
"Good, you're going to have to apologize to Jay-hyung and Jake-hyung, they've been sulking since this afternoon." - "Oh... about that.."

I’m nothing special.
I’m just flawed and weak as the next person. I let my emotions get the best of me at times. I’m not perfect. I read old messages looking for clues. I listen to old playlists of sad songs when I’m sad. I swear too much. Drink too much. I can be selfish and impatient. I’m a sarcastic asshole for alarmingly long periods of the day. I regret choices I’ve made, words I’ve said in anger, people I’ve let down. I’m no role model. Wow, there’s an understatement. But every day I own my shit. I’m accountable and humble. Every day, I try to just be a little bit better than yesterday. Becoming who you are is a life long journey, baby step after setback after stumble after lesson learned. Forever forward. Green and growing as they say.
I wake up and look at those four framed sentences. “Be impeccable with your word. Don’t take anything personally. Don’t make assumptions. Always do your best.” Simple and yet powerful.
Every day, I’m trying to see things differently. Gain perspective. Embrace not taking every single thing personally. Getting cut off in traffic, not personal. Waiting forever in line for coffee, not personal. It is an uphill climb getting comfortable with the concept that nothing others’ do is directly because of you or to upset you. People do what they do because of themselves. That’s it. Even when they treat you awfully or take you for granted, it has more to do with what’s going on with them than you. *insert lecture about Attribution Error.
As for assumptions, I kinda have a PhD in that field. Never met a situation, never had a conversation, never waited for a text, that I couldn’t attach an assumption to. Assumptions are generally born from misunderstanding and a fear of asking questions. Fear of what might be said. We lack courage to inquire so instead we stand back and fill the void with the worst. Draw from our past pain and create a narrative. I’m trying to break that cycle. Ask more questions. Communicate. Be clear and upfront. I can no longer assume others know what I mean or want and then get upset when they don’t act accordingly. It’s unfair to them and only serves to hurt me in the process.
I’m making integrity part of my daily practice. Speaking with integrity. Actions with integrity. And above all, avoiding the trappings of believing my own landslide of bullshit, being my own worst enemy, and justifying every blunder. Be better. Sidestep gossip and small talk. Apologize when you hurt someone. Accept that you’ll be wrong sometimes. Or in my case, a lot. Do what you say you’ll do. Character isn’t built upon what you said you’d do, but what you rolled up your sleeves and actually did.
As for always doing my best, I’m still figuring out what that animal looks like. I strive to be helpful, but sometimes when you’re always available, they take you for granted, not because they are selfish or unkind, but because they think you’ll always stay. Let them miss you for a while. This goes against everything I am but makes sense. I’ve also learned that there is no shame in being broken and anxious and sad. Be whatever you are right now. No need to make excuses or try to minimize the hurt, deny the confusion. You cannot learn about yourself if at first you aren’t frustrated and confused, the hard questions are born from this. You cannot heal without first being damaged. So be broken and anxious and sad. Cope however you need to; as long as you need to, for there is no instruction manual for this, we all make it up as we go along. Day by day and more often, minute by minute. So as for my best, I guess it is just knowing that when I put my head on the pillow, I gave all that I could, was kinder than I needed to be, inspired a few, and made sure the garage door is closed.
I’m nothing special. But I didn’t lose my shit on the drive into work, didn’t assume sporadic texts were anything but a busy day, and a couple people told me that they are grateful for me - so I’m gonna just go ahead and chalk today up as a win.

While the experience of being at a party or bar certainly is important with regards to the situation, it’s also important to ask if you’ve ever misread a situation. Like you assumed that someone is upset or mad when they weren’t or you mistook their tone for something more hostile than it was. I’m autistic and I spent years learning social cues and how to read body language but sometimes I’m not great at it. I’ve been tipsy and not read the social cues of a situation to know when I needed to stop talking. For many of these people they haven’t had to do that. They’ve been able to stumble through life online where they can misread a situation and then leave without ever seeing the consequences of how they react to this misinterpretation. It’s insane, really
oh for sure! I'm the same way as well tbh
But i think what makes it even more insane is that a lot of the people relentlessly condemning George for the situation ARE NEURODIVERGENT THEMSELVES and they refuse to acknowledge the insane double standard they are pushing onto him and everyone else. They think that it's fine if /they/ misread social cues but as soon as someone else does it then they MUST be malicious. It's so frustrating
