i feel like this a mix between headcanon and characterizing but im choosing it anyway:

people not making tails scared of chaos in sonic forces

i think it's so dumb when people say he shouldn't have been scared just because he fought and won against chaos 4.

do i think the writing is awful? yes, but him being scared is still in character regardless of the writing.

people tend to forget tails is a child, age removed or not, he's always referred to as a young kid.

do you know how terrified any child would be in that situation?

i mean, he thinks sonic is dead at that point in time, and people really expect him not to freeze up when he sees one of the people who killed him? it's so stupid.

don't get me wrong, i do think tails should've been the one to fight off chaos instead of bringing in classic sonic. but there's no reason to get rid of his fear to do that.

tails is allowed to be scared, and people saying he wouldn't have been are just wrong.

People doubling down on the "LIKES ARE GOOD ACTUALLY" are missing the point pretty hard to the point where it's kinda funny

New users are coming to tumblr and are exclusively liking posts. They are used to an algorithm that puts weight behind likes. Tumblr has no algorithm, so using likes isn't going to premote a post, it'll essentially just bookmark it and tell the op that you liked it.

Reblogging a post is the only way on tumblr to circulate it. Creators who need notes, say, for promoting their income, are directly affected by no one reblogging their posts.

Tumblr's entire website is based off of reblogging, and people are now making posts saying "well actually exclusively likes are good because you liked a post" when the reason I'm seeing said post, is because someone reblogged it. So if you really like a post, consider reblogging it to support the op and keep the post circulating. If you just like it, it dies with you.

TLDR: likes are fine and good but reblogs are a necessity on this site
