I really need my Kevin stans to sound off because why is a very important character to the plot being labeled as a fun little 3rd wheel. That boy LIVED and SURVIVED riko bitch face, rebuilt himself from scratch, and was in constant state on PTSD while doing so. So no, I don’t appreciate it when he’s portrayed as this whiny, arrogant boy when he’s an ambitious, brave man. Is he perfect? No the fuck not, none of the foxes are, but he deserves so much more.

In every adaptation they both exist they find each other

In every universe only a version of Tails lives in, a Sonic eventually meets him (even if he has to traverse worlds to do so)

Sonic Prime showed us different examples of worlds without Sonic, and versions of Tails who never met him. And yet, even they bond with him eventually

Maybe they don't have the same dynamic every time, but they're bound to have some sort of relationship in every universe. That drives me insane

#yk bit of a random thought but i think people see Lancer as relatively surface-level character-wise #they see all these other characters like Noelle & Spamton & Ralsei etc #characters who CLEARLY have more to them you would need to be blind to miss it #Noelle is one of the main characters as of Chapter 2 & has obvious struggles #<- notably her father likely passing away later on & her interest in Susie (not a struggle but yk) #Spamton is a secret boss & has a lot of intrigue & mystique to him #<- plus he already has connections to characters like Swatch & the Addisons #Ralsei well yk how it is with him he's literally one of THE main characters #<- & we still don't know much about him & some people likely still think he could be evil as i'm typing this #<- that's how mysterious he is #but Lancer? he rly just seems like the comedic relief yk #<- the goofy sidekick #but no! Look as a fan of Nine, of course i loved that we got flashbacks from his pov, but, i'll admit i was kind of dissapointed that they didn't include the period of time between Sonic leaving the grim and Nine going back to help Sonic in New Yoke.

I would have liked to see how he went from "fine. you can leave to help that hellscape but i'm not going back ever again" to "alright i'm gonna help you also my offer still stands btw. im still going back home regardless of your choice tho".

And yeah i suppose it's not super necessary, but technically neither was anything before he discovered the grim.

one hill I will die on is that people don’t write scar tissue correctly, or what injury can do to mechanical structures of the body. I cannot raise my arms as high as I used to before surgery—it’s barely noticeable, but if I really stretch for something up high, I can feel it pulling. Weird that it happened twice, two of my friends whacked their heads as kids and ended up cutting through some of the muscle in the forehead, and now that chunk of face doesn’t move—they can’t really manipulate the eyebrow on that side. You don’t really notice until you watch for a while.

in conclusion, I would like to see actual repercussions of (especially facial) scarring. Yeah yeah I know it’s because of magic but like half Allen Walker’s whole face should have pretty restricted movement and sensation
