danganronpa is whispering its siren song to me but alas nobody shares my big brain million iq opinions (drv3 hater) (korekiyo defender) (ishimaru understander) (celeste and hifumi apologist) (kaito hater) (protagonist love triangle poly advocate) (post sdr2 anime enjoyer) (fucking hates the writing bar the first half of sdr1 and ending of sdr2) (never even finished v3 because it was so dogshit terrible and also i genuinely can barely get through the minigames) (problematic psychological horror fan)
#the executions were not gorey enough they were not even that camp. except the celeste one.#leon baseball one was good. the korekiyo one had potential. kaedes ROCKED. taka's concept version was cool. everything else was shit.#everything about the way they wrote korekiyo drives me fucking insane ive written essay length posts on it before. i care him okay.#let me project onto the predatory fem gay man stereotype incestual serial killer.#mostly because his writing was wildly homophobic + transmisogynistic and a horrible depiction of abuse#but had so much potential for a genuinely good character if theyd pulled their heads outta their asses and deconstructed the tropes#which is what danganronpa is all about thats what makes the first game halfway secent#ughhh. its just so frustrating how all the writing js so close but so far.#like genuinely this is one place where i think fandom and fanfic is better than the original#say what you will but it's one of the only fandoms where ive felt p much all fanfic and headcanon done genuinely#has told a better and/or more complete story while keeping the original concepts and tone#unfortunately most of the fandom is insane and/or too preoccupied with shipping (understandable. i guess.) to like. engage with it fully.#and there's still such a dearth of content for my faves#kiyo is like at best a side character and at worse written as even more of a parody of himself 😭#theres literally like four people in the world who get it max. korekiyo eating spaghetti is still my favorite fan art of all time#...anyway. idk why im thinking about this rn but im nostalgic all of a sudden#i never really got invested into any of the crazy fandom stuff i just read old fanfic and watched from the sidelines#but me and a couple friends had a lot of own interpretation and theories and fanon sequel ideas n they mean a lot to me yk?#genuinely got me to do a lot more writing and art even if it was all korekiyo themed. im like soooo good at drawing him now (lie)#he's still my litmus test for picrews if i cant make him it's shit. he literally just has long hair a mask and pretty eyes. simple elements#anyway whatever he will live on in my head forever.

sakusa kiyoomi is a man of his routine.
wake up early, get out of bed, take a quick shower, have breakfast, go out on his morning jog, come back home, rest for a while and then go out to practice.
that's how his everyday went — boring, right? to set such a standard and actually commit to it thoroughly every day.
but that's how kiyoomi is, how he always was — a man of his routine.
that is, until you came along.
his alarm rang about fifteen minutes ago but he's still in bed, his arms wrapped around you, and your legs are wrapped around his torso, a tangle of limbs as your face is buried into the crook of his neck, whispering, "just five more minutes."
he doesn't know how he ended up like this, still in bed even after his alarm rang when he should be up and in the shower right now, but somehow, for some reason, he could never find himself being able to say no to you.
"you said that five minutes ago." he whispers back, his fingers running gently through your hair — this is how his mornings have been ever since you moved in with him, lazy and comforting with the both of you so close to eachother, and he would never admit it out loud, but he actually likes this — likes the warmth of your body against his as you mutter sleepy sweet nothings to him.
"i know." you mumble, placing a soft kiss on the skin of his neck, "this just feels so nice." you hum sleepily, continuing to place soft, butterfly kisses on his neck, your lips barely even touching his skin as you do so, "can't you just stay home today?"
he can't help but shiver at the touch of your lips, how soft it is and he grunts quietly, "you know i can't, baby." he answers back — you always ask him this question, every morning, the answer remains the same and you don't press it, he can't help but think that you maybe ask him this just to tease him a bit.
you hum in response, and he can almost imagine your pout, but nonetheless, you continue to place butterfly kisses on his neck, trailing slowly up to his jaw, "kiyo, you're off tomorrow right?" you whisper against his skin, your hands slowly and gently trailing up his bare chest, to his shoulders and you wrap your arms around him.
he hums in response, "yeah." his fingers are treading through your hair gently, and his hand is tracing circles on your back.
you smile sleepily, he can see the way your eyes are half lidded, and he guesses you're not exactly fully awake yet, "good." you murmur "we can have this all tomorrow morning then without a deadline chasing your ass." he can't help but let out a short laugh when you say that, but he's quickly cut off when you press your lips against his mouth.
it's a bit of a sloppy kiss, with your lips parted so his tongue slips in, it's sleepy and slow, lazy as you move sluggishly against him, and you taste so sweet, like that chocolate cake you had last night before you slept, and like that strawberry lip balm you wear all the time, and he can't help but get lost in your taste.
you pull away, a small smile on your face and you plant a kiss on the corner of his mouth.
he can't help but smile a bit too, humming to himself, "i have to go now." he tells you quietly, attempting to get your arms off of him.
you shake your head and press yourself closer to him, "just five more minutes." you murmur, burying your face in the crook of his neck again.
sakusa kiyoomi is a man of his routine, he sets a standard and commits to it, and more often than not, he doesn't like it when his routine is disturbed.
but there is always an exception to the rule, and for you, he'll let you break his routine, and mumble about 'five more minutes' even though he knows they won't be the last ones as you press more butterfly kisses to his neck.
he'll let you have your own routine disturb his.

SAKUSA KIYOOMI ✰ 8:56
NOTE. I am now proposing Haikyuu boys with their Oldest (or Older) sister! Reader and how that dynamic goes . . inspired by this TikTok video.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sakusa Kiyoomi, when had too many drinks at the post-wedding reception of his oldest sister, is a whole different person when completely sober. And in the rare times that he does get drunk (to no one’s surprise, he’s actually lightweight), he gets a little (a little is an understatement) sentimental and vulnerable.
It just happens; it’s not like he has any control over his raw emotions.
“What was that?” Motoya asks his cousin.
Kiyoomi had been sobbing for half an hour now, his cheeks blooming with a slight rosy hue and his eyes brimming with tears as he wiped them away with his hands—like how a crying toddler would. “Onee-san got married,” he cried through muffled hiccups.
“She’s going to start her own family.”
“And what’s gonna happen?”
“We’re never going to see each other again.”
This side of Kiyoomi was definitely quality entertainment. He rarely ever held his heart and emotions on his sleeves, but tonight was a particular exception. But then again, it was a little surprising how attached he was to his oldest sister considering how big their age gap was.
It could be that, among his siblings, the oldest of the four practically raised Kiyoomi. His older sister and brother were always too busy to play with him because of the obvious difference in their ages as well as their different developmental stages. When Kiyoomi was four, his older sister was ten, his older brother was twelve, and you—his oldest sister—were sixteen at that time.
You were always the one to entertain him whenever you got home from school, spend time with him in the manor’s library, and encourage him to make new friends (before Motoya came along and visited more often) so he wouldn’t be as lonely as he used to. So it was natural that he was much closer to you than his own parents.
“Do you want to say bye again?” Motoya suggested.
“No,” Kiyoomi sniffled, shaking his head. “I already did, it would be too awkward...”
Back in the hotel room, Motoya and Kiyoomi’s older brother—Kino—made sure he didn’t randomly collapse on the way back. They didn’t have to worry about that because Kiyoomi was quite compliant and just kept on talking about how he was going to miss you.
And of course, Kino, being the teasing little shit he was at his grown age, decided to film Kiyoomi’s confessions.
“I’m going to miss Nee-san,” he murmured.
At this point, Motoya and Kino thought that Kiyoomi’s tears were almost at an end, but the whole dam broke when Kino asked, “What’s going to happen to Nee-san?”
“She got married.”
“But that’s how it is—“
“But she’s going to leave the house!” Kiyoomi added, unknowingly folding the freshly ironed blankets the hotel staff provided earlier when they asked for another one. “She was the one who got me to play volleyball,” he said.
“I never listened to what she had to say because she was annoying sometimes, and now I’m going to miss it.”
“Aw, Kiyo!” Kino chuckled. “That’s how it is; she’s bound to start a family of her own eventually.”
But Kiyoomi couldn’t stomach the fact that he had a little too much to drink. He didn’t understand—he couldn't wrap his head around the fact that he would no longer see you when he went home during the weekends if he didn’t have practice; he wouldn’t have to argue with you anymore on who would wash the dishes after supper; he wouldn’t have you cook his favorite dishes anymore.
You wouldn’t come home anymore. You wouldn’t be visiting as often as he’d hoped you would. You wouldn’t visit his games as often as you could because of your job.
The thoughts he was having were antagonizing. They made him feel small and vulnerable, and that familiar feeling of loneliness from his childhood lingers around in the form of a throbbing headache the next morning. Kiyoomi struggles to get through his hangover, but he does his best.
He stares at the mirror in his hotel room’s bathroom, then gets eye drops on his obviously red and still puffy eyes. How much did he cry last night? He doesn’t even remember anything. Kiyoomi doesn’t want to remember if it’s embarrassing. He’d much rather crawl in a hole and never resurface.
Then he sees a message from you.
Aww, sleep tight, Kiyo :((
Don’t forget that I’ll always be your sister even if we don’t share the same last name anymore or even if I’m not around as often as I wished I could! You could always visit us, ok? Just text me if you need anything!
And just like that, Kiyoomi’s in tears once again.

Guide to Understanding Genocider’s Many Names
Tumblr media
Genocide Jack has many names and it can be hard to understand why so many people use different ones or spell them differently, so I attempted to make a guide that is as comprehensible as possible.
Something to know before hand
Kanji: More complicated, such as 翔
Hiragana: Simple and smooth, such as しょう
Katakana: Simple and sharp, such as ショウ
Let’s get the “Genocide” part out of the way
This part of her name is written in katakana, (ジェノサイダー) and you’ll notice the line at the end. This means the sound is extended, so instead of “da” it’s “dā”. Japanese doesn’t have an “er” so this is used instead, since they sound similar. Her official title is Genocider. The localization simply switched this is be Genocide. I’m not sure why, maybe since Genocider isn’t actually a word, but that’s just my best guess.
Syo VS Sho
Here’s where it get complicated.
In order to make sounds like “kyo”, “bya”, or “ju”, two hiragana are need. First, a character ending in i, such as ki, bi, or ji, characters pronounced like ka or bu cannot be used. Second, one of the three y’s (ya, yo, or yu) in a smaller form.
The character “ki” (き), combined with “yo” (よ), would make “kiyo”. But if the “yo” is written smaller (よ→ょ) then the “i” from the first hiragana is replaced by it. So since きよ is Kiyo, きょ is Kyo. Same for “bya”. びや is Biya, so びゃ is Bya.
Now, we have our “exceptions”, shi (し) and ji (じ). You’ll notice they look very similar, which is why they are both “exceptions”. For “ji” (じ) and “yu”, (ゆ) rather than jyu it’s just ju (じゅ). It’s different since in the case of kyo and ko, it’s a whole other sound, but jyu and ju are pronounced the same, so the y isn’t needed.
But in all my examples, you’ll notice the first hiragana is two letters, which is why it gets tricky for “shi”. Like jyu, shyo is unnecessary, however, h and y are pronounced the same here, so you can remove either one and get the same sound.
Quick Note: I used “kyo”, “bya”, and “ju” as examples since there are Danganronpa characters with those in their names, but, just to clarify, they aren’t the only combinations possible.
The reason I put exceptions in quotes is because this is romanization, there is no rule book saying you must write it this way. While Sho is the most common way to write this, it doesn’t mean Syo is wrong. In fact, the games themselves use this.
Tumblr media
However, they also use Sho.
Tumblr media
So, really, both are correct.
Syou VS Syo / Shou Vs Sho
> I’ll be calling her Sho/Shou here for convenience.
翔 should be spelt with a “u”, since it’s しょ“sho” then う “u”, so “shou”. Still, a lot of times the u is excluded because it doesn’t sound too different in English. English speakers pronounce “Shuuichi” and “Shuichi” the same, so I suppose the u is unnecessary. You’ll find this is common in a lot of different translations. Even Japanese media that use the alphabet, like the pictures above, will sometimes leave out the u, if following an o or another u.
Jack & Jill
These are just the titles that are strictly English. Since the whole thing about Syo in the beginning was that she’s a serial killer, society will assume it’s a man, so the public will give her a masculine name. In English, people will hear Sho and see it’s foreign, so there’s no gender association. I think it was changed that way so we’d see it as masculine. While I think they should’ve kept her Japanese name like everyone else in the game, I cannot deny how easily Genocide Jack rolls off the tongue.
Overall
All the names work, use whatever you want.
I hope this made sense to at least one person. If it doesn’t, feel free to ask for further clarification!

One part of Kiyo’s design I rlly like is how tall he is. Like a big aspect of his character is how he tries to fade into the background and just observe but that’s hard to do when he’s the tallest character after Gonta. Not only that but all of Kiyo’s sprite other then the spread arms one are very compact, like he’s trying to make himself as small as possible, except he’s so tall and fucking gangly that it isn’t rlly working. If you rlly pay attention to his body language you can tell almost instantly how uncomfortable he is in his own skin (if the fact that he covers almost every inch of himself wasn’t enough of an indication). He is so traumatized, I love him <33

Tumblr media
Kiyoomi guesses it’s been a while since he has missed you.
Kokomi takes up every minute, every second he has to offer— not that he minds it. Maybe sometimes he hates it, hates being so preoccupied with her that forgets to miss you. The last thing he wants to do is forget you, even when he is old enough that his already greying hairs start to fall out.
You’ve been gone for long enough that he has forgotten what you felt like in his arms, how you smelled when he hugged you close to his chest. He hates that his senses are giving up on him.
But he hasn’t forgotten everything about you. He hasn’t forgotten the way you rolled your eyes at him whenever you disagreed, how you always latched onto his arm whenever you got scared watching a horror movie, how you kissed his forehead twice for each mole he has— because she does the same.
Kiyoomi is glad to have Kokomi in his life because everytime he looks at her, he sees you. It’s not a stretch when someone asks if he misses you and he says no, because he never will. He might forget what you feel like but he will never forget you, the you who gave him the best gift in the world, his daughter, his baby.
The more she grows up, the more she resembles you. As he grows older, he sees Kokomi growing older and it’s bittersweet. He’s proud of her for everything she’s achieved in her life and proud of himself for bringing up his amazing daughter. It was tough at first, balancing his career and her, but with everyone's help, it was possible. It takes a village to raise a child, but what good is a village if it has no head. That’s what he felt like when he was just starting out, he felt lost without you to help him. He had his team, his village, to support him through thick and thin but he used to miss you.
As the team grew and so did your daughter, he realised everything was indeed good. He feels proud of them as well, Atsumu, Bokuto, Hinata, Komori, everyone.
He likes to believe you would’ve been proud too— of Kokomi, of the team.
But he especially misses you today. Seeing your daughter off to college, he remembers your face glowing when you used to talk about milestones of your baby’s life and her going to college.
“Kiyo, she’s gonna be amazing I know it.”
“Yes baby, she will be,” “You have to lay off her though.”
“What”
“I know you'll be crying the day she goes to college and fussing all over her. Ugh, especially with boys”
“No, I won’t. Except boys, I don’t trust those hormone ridden monsters”
“Of course you don't, darling. Because you never were one, right? You were a toddler and straight up went to being an adult.”
And then you rolled your eyes at him the same way Kokomi is doing right now, “Dad, I’m going to be honest with you, I can’t swear off boys. I just can’t–”
“Yes, you can. Promise me.”
“Dad—
“Promise me that you’ll be my little girl forever, never leaving me, ever.”
“We’re literally standing in front of my dorm room. You’re gonna have to leave at some point.” She narrows her eyes at him, still holding onto his hand.
He notices that. There were a lot of things he saw of you in her but she was his daughter too, he notices the way she’s picking at her nails, a nervous habit she’s has had ever since she was 5. She doesn’t want him to leave, not with the grip she has on his hand.
“You know I am here for you, right?”
“Yes, dad and I love you too.” Never good at words but they both managed, understood each other even though you weren’t there to do the talking for him.
“He’s bein’ mean again, y/n!”
“Tsumu you know he doesn’t mean that, he appreciates the thought you put into this gift.” “Yeah, I’m surprised he could think at all”
“Kiyo!– Tsumu, he means it’s great, he’s just affectionately dumb.”
He takes in a deep breath, the tingling sensation at the back of his throat feels familiar and he lets out a chuckle because he’s really going to cry now. Standing at her dorm room’s door, his heart feels heavy, and he’s looking at her now, ready to start a new chapter of her life, all on her own.
He cups her face and plants a kiss on her forehead, “One for me–” He kisses her temple, his hand holding the back of her head as she reaches out for a hug, “–and one for mom.”
She’s holding onto him tightly now, her fists balled up with the back of his jacket balled up in her fists, she mumbles, “I’m gonna miss you so much, dad. Promise to visit me, please?”
“Every weekend, Kokomi, I promise.” He smiles and wraps his arms around her, cradling her head as he lets his jacket soak up her tears. He feels happy and he knows you would’ve been happy too and that’s all he needs to know.
Kokomi starts to draw back but he tightens his grip on her, and with a shaky voice, he whispers, “Give your old man a few more minutes more, please sweetheart.”
Kokomi hums and they both stand there silently, until she breaks the silence with a ‘hey dad?’ and this time Kiyoomi hums in response, pulling away to look at her and finally let go.
“Mom would’ve been really proud of you.”
Oh.
Kiyoomi doesn’t realise he is crying until he tastes the salty tears in his mouth and Kokomi wipes his cheeks, “And I am proud too. One more thing–” With a smile as she goes on her tippy toes to kiss his moles, “–One from me and one from mom.”
Kiyoomi guesses it’s fine he didn’t miss you a lot, he never had to.
“And dad?”
“You weren’t serious about the ‘here every weekend’ thing though, right?”
“How much do you wanna bet at least one of your uncles will be here every weekend?”
Kokomi begins to whine in defiance to his response but is interrupted by a wailing Atsumu rushing towards them with Hinata, Bokuto and Komori in hot pursuit.
“Our baby’s all grown up!” Atsumu cries from behind Kiyoomi, sniffling and pushing him out of the way as he rushes to bring Kokomi into a bear hug and pats her head rather desperately, “Don’t forget about us, yeah?? And don’t forget us, we’re all here for ya. Also boy’s are disgustin’, ya won’t like ‘em anyways–”
“Why’s everyone obsessed with tha-”
In a flash, she’s squashed between 4 middle aged men bawling their eyes out and preaching they’re thoughts and views and promising to lay their lives down for her as she starts tearing up with them, telling them to take care of each other as well as her father since she won’t be there everyday.
Looking at this scene, Kiyoomi thinks his village did just fine. Plus he guesses it’s okay he didn’t get to miss you a lot because he believes it’s better to never not stop thinking about someone than miss them.
And he thinks– no he knows, you’re proud of him.

Can you write something where reader is a shy feline like demon that shinobu finds cowering in the rain an decides to take pity upon and overtime shinobu falls in love with reader shy an gentle nature despite being a demon? Readers demon form has black cat ears and tail as physical representations of her feline demon transformation.
Absolutely Not!
Shinobu Kochou x She/Her Cat Demon Reader
A/N: Prt2 Cute idea, sorry for the wait! Shinobu doesn’t know how to deal with her unprompted attraction to a cat demon. Word Count: 2,771
Shinobu hadn’t noticed at first because of the pounding rainstorm outside, but the mansion was oddly quiet. She had gone the whole day without seeing hide nor hair of Sumi, Kiyo or Naho. Then they came to dinner late, another unusual event.
“What have you three been up to all day?” She had casually asked, not expecting to see their sheepish expressions and shared glances. She knew something was up before they could even delegate what to say.
“Sorry for being late, Shinobu-sama.” Naho began, fidgeting with one of her braids.
“We were just busy…” Kiyo looked over to Sumi for assistance.
“Rearranging our rooms!” Sumi supplied.
A believable enough response. Except Shinobu recalled them moving things around not terribly long ago and she told them as much after taking a comforting sip of tea.
“Didn’t you do that just a few weeks ago? Why switch things up so soon?”
The three girls squirmed in their seats.
“I thought something was off,” Aoi frowned, turning to Shinobu, “They went into the garden this morning just before the storm began, I saw them come in when it started to pour. I thought they were carrying in an apron full of vegetables, but they headed in the direction of their rooms instead of the kitchen.”
The three girls sunk further into themselves and Shinobu rose an eyebrow.
“Just what did you girls find, hm?” She asked.
“A cat.” Kanao piped up, selling the girls further down the river without an ounce of malicious intent. “It’s very cute.”
“Kanao-sama!” The girls groaned in protest.
“You promised to keep it a secret!” Naho pouted.
“A cat? In the mansion?” Shinobu questioned.
“We only wanted to keep her until the rain stopped.” Sumi defended.
“She was all wet and shaky.” Kiyo added.
Shinobu sighed inwardly. The only thing worse than fur, was wet fur.
“Is it in one of your rooms right now?” Shinobu asked.
The three nodded solemnly.
“She’s in mine…” Naho admitted, head hanging low.
“I wish you would have discussed this with me instead of smuggling an unfamiliar animals into the house.” Shinobu admonished. “It’ll have to go back outside.”
“But Shinobu-sama—“
“No buts,” Shinobu stood from the table, “Let’s take care of this now.”
Shinobu didn’t like having to be the bad guy, but she had a busy estate to run. No place for a wild feline that could have fleas or mites, or some awful disease. It was unsanitary.
The girls led Shinobu to their wing of the mansion and Naho paled upon seeing her door had been opened just a few inches.
She ran to the door and pulled it open the rest of the way. Sumi and Kiyo were hot on her heels, each calling for the cat hopefully. A sense of dread washed over Shinobu as she watched the girls search.
There was a cat wandering the mansion. A shiver ran up and down Shinobu’s spine.
The girls assured Shinobu that they would find the cat and quickly scattered, afraid of further disappointing her. Before long, everyone was in on the search and the halls were filled with cat noises and the smell of raw salmon.
Shinobu did a cursory look around, but she didn’t really want anything to do with her unwanted houseguest. She snuck away to her room to decompress instead.
She changed into something more comfortable, fed Fugu, then slipped into bed with a pleased sigh. Hopefully it would be taken care of in the morning.
“Mrrrp!”
Shinobu jolted beneath the covers when her foot knocked into something unmistakably furry. She sat up and bent her legs against her chest. She then tore the blanket back, revealing a small, trembling cat that had made itself comfortable in her futon.
“Out!” Shinobu waved her hand, hoping to spook the beast away. Though it did cower at the gesture, it did not leave.
“Shoo!” Shinobu tried again, yielding the same result.
“Why is this my life?” Shinobu hissed, standing up and taking the blanket with her.
The cat looked up at her curiously before getting up as well, it’s tail straight in the air except for where it curled to the side at the tip.
Shinobu waved her blanket at the cat like a matador. When that didn’t seem to help, she grunted in frustration, dropping the blanket over the cat, covering it up. Then she scooped around the blanket and picked up the now very wiggly and vocal cat.
She struggled getting to the nearest door leading outside. She didn’t know whether to be grateful or annoyed that no one seemed to be around to help. She opened the door to the heavy rainstorm still going strong outside and unceremoniously dropped the cat from the blanket on to the engawa.
Shinobu went to close the door, but paused upon hearing the downright pitiful sound the cat made. She looked down, seeing the cat shake and shiver, shrinking in on itself as the rain splattered against it. The damn thing looked Shinobu right in the eye, looking unnaturally expressive.
It was a look that made Shinobu feel like she was condemning the animal to death if it spent the night cold in the rain… it was true she wasn’t very fond of furry animals, but that didn’t mean she wished them ill will.
Shinobu bit into her bottom lip and looked around the hall before looking back to the small cat. Someone was bound to find it roaming the halls she supposed, then it could be their problem.
“Fine.”
As soon as Shinobu unblocked the door, the cat zoomed in, rubbing against Shinobu’s calves, much to her displeasure.
“No touching!” Shinobu stepped over the cat and strode back to her room.
Before the cat could follow her in, Shinobu closed the door until only a sliver remained so she could peer out at the cat pawing at her through the crack.
“Five rules. Don’t even think about touching my fish. Stay out of my room, the kitchen, the infirmary and my lab. As soon as the rain is gone, you better be too.”
“Mew.”
Shinobu closed the door the rest of the way and threw her blanket in the laundry and grabbed a fresh one from her closet.
“Go away.” She grumbled tiredly once she had settled back in her futon.
She could hear the cat pushing at her door, but she wasn’t going to get up again tonight for anything. Unless En came with a mission of course, but she would die inside if that were the case. Eventually the noise faded into the background and Shinobu fell asleep.
***
Shinobu felt unusually warm. She wasn’t quite awake yet, but awake enough that the temperature bothered her. She rolled over onto her other side and pushed the blanket away to bunch up around her hips instead of snuggly tucked over her shoulders. That should have been the end of it, but the blanket made its way back up her body.
As Shinobu awoke further, she became aware of a purring in her ear and something snuggling closer to her back. Shinobu’s eyes shot open and she sat up, twisting in the covers to see not the cat she had been expecting, but a girl, a demon, with cat ears and a tail!
“Hi…” The demon whispered, still rubbing sleep from her eyes, “Sorry I broke a rule, I didn’t even look at your fish, I promise.”
Shinobu had never been more flabbergasted in her life. She was so stunned, she couldn’t decide what to do. She just watched the demon curl back up under the covers, eyes shyly peeking out to gage Shinobu’s reaction.
Logically Shinobu knew that she should be darting for her sword right now but she couldn’t bring herself to do it for some reason. Here was a combination of two of her least favorite things cuddling up to her while she had been sleeping and she couldn’t bring herself to do anything about it! Why?!
“What are you doing here? How did you get in?” She finally asked, scooting a bit further away.
The demon thought about it a moment before answering softly, “First the nice little ones brought me inside and fed me fish and dried me off. Then you showed mercy on me by allowing me to stay the night. I wanted to stay with you… couldn’t open the door as I was…”
“The cat the girls let in the mansion was you?” Shinobu scooted further away, trying to put more space between herself and the demon who seemed to be inching closer under Shinobu’s covers.
The demon nodded. “I owe you all my life.”
“You are a demon,” Shinobu said coldly, “It would take a lot more than a little rain to kill you.
The demon shrunk back into the covers at Shinobu’s tone, cat ears twitched backward.
“It’s true, but I smelled another demon that I wanted to avoid, they tend to be cruel to me because I do not eat humans as they do. I thought it was safe here. The scent of wisteria burns my nose and throat, but it is better than the alternative.”
“You don’t eat humans?” Shinobu asked incredulously.
“No, no, I only want fish.” The demon murmured before asking, “Can I have more fish, please? I will work for you. Keep you warm. I’m good at that.”
“No,” Shinobu blushed, she hadn’t been caught so frazzled in a long time, “Absolutely not!”
The demon sunk as close to the ground as she could, but then she smelled something that had her perk right up again.
“Salmon!” The demon gasped excitedly, scrambling over Shinobu she darted to the door so fast that even Shinobu had difficulty keeping up.
In the hall, Sumi, Kiyo and Naho were trying to draw out the cat with the promise of food. It worked, just not in the way they expected when the cat demon came bursting through Shinobu’s door.
“Can I have some, please? Please?”
The girls were so surprised, they didn’t know what to do but comply. The demon took the offered bowl, thanking the girls before digging right in.
“…Shinobu-sama, who’s your friend?” Sumi asked once Shinobu had caught up, nichirin sword in hand, still in her nightware, hair a mess, skin flushed pink.
“She is not my friend, girls stay back!”
“Shinobu-sama?” The demon looked at Shinobu with a small, sincere smile that made the Hashira stop in her tracks.
“You can call me (Y/n),” she turned back to the you get girls who were openly staring at the demon’s ears, “Thank you again for the food. I hope we can all be good friends.”
Shinobu exhaled through her nose. This really shouldn’t be a difficult choice. A demon infiltrated her home. Yet instead of wreaking havoc as soon as Shinobu went to bed, she just… slept by her. Instead of human flesh, she desired fish… Shinobu watched (Y/n) go back to eating and finally noticed the demon’s attire, a kimono with a familiar pattern.
“Are you wearing my clothes?”
“I hope you don’t mind.” (Y/n) looked sheepishly into the now empty bowl, “clothes don’t really work in my other form, so I borrowed some.” She tugged a bit at the neckline of the kimono, “Do you want it now?”
Shinobu lurched forward to make sure (Y/n)’s hand kept the clothing in place.
“No, just— stay dressed.” Shinobu subtlety pleaded.
(Y/n) became flustered as the implication of what Shinobu was trying to avoid hit her and she squeaked,
“I would have just morphed back into a cat if you needed the clothes back.”
“…Ah.” Shinobu had never wanted to hit her head against a wall before.
“Wait, so you are the kitty we found in the garden?” Kiyo asked.
“Yes.” (Y/n) nodded.
The girls shared a look before wailing in unison. (Y/n) was startled by the outburst and ducked behind Shinobu.
“We’re so sorry Shinobu-sama!” Sumi cried.
“We let a demon into the mansion!” Kiyo sobbed.
“We can never be forgiven!” Naho bemoaned.
“Girls, calm yourselves, please,” Shinobu gathered them into her arms, petting their hair and rubbing their backs as they clung to her, “You couldn’t have known, no one is hurt. Please, hush now, it’s alright.”
“I’m sorry,” (Y/n)’s ears flattened, “My presence seems to have caused a lot of stress…”
Try as she might to not be affected, the sorrowful look tugged on Shinobu’s heartstrings. This was all Kanae’s fault for instilling her with a compulsion to take lost, gentle souls under her wing.
“I-I should go.”
“Don’t be silly.” Shinobu sighed, “The sun’s out, you’ll roast. You can… stay. For now.” Shinobu wished she had been able to put even the tiniest hint of reluctance in her voice because she sounded much too compliant and even worse, the idea of (Y/n) leaving made her heartbeat pick up in a fearful way.
It had to be only a scientific curiosity that made her want to keep the cat girl around, nothing more! Yes, after all, it was unusual to meet a demon who could change form at will, and to seem perfectly capable of feeding on fish instead of humans, that was also different—
“Oh!” (Y/n) leapt at Shinobu, hugging her close, “Thank you, Shinobu-sama! You wont regret this, I promise!”
“That’s enough touching!” Shinobu smiled tightly, as she gently pushed (Y/n) away.
She refused to acknowledge how her body had lit up at the contact. There was no way she was attracted to a demon-cat-woman. It was not even a question in her mind. Not a chance, absolutely not!
***
No one could believe Shinobu let an unsanctioned demon into her home more than Shinobu herself. She was just glad the other Hashira were too shocked to ridicule her when she made her case for the Master. Thankfully, Oyakata-sama was humored by Shinobu’s newest resident and gave her the go-ahead.
When Shinobu returned home, she couldn’t help but to smile fondly at the sight that greeted her in the hallway. The girls were jiggling a long string of yarn and (Y/n) was all too happy to play along. She jumped and rolled around, delighting the girls and making them giggle.
“Mrrrp!”
When the cat noticed Shinobu’s presence, it ducked into the clothes that Shinobu had only just noticed on the floor, and slowly the kimono began to fill out until (Y/n) was back in her more humanoid from.
“Shinobu-sama, you came back.” (Y/n) bonked her head against Shinobu’s, her tone more than relieved.
“Why wouldn’t I come back? It is my house.” Shinobu backed away, fixing her displaced hair while she challenged her eyes to look anywhere else besides the demon before her.
“Oh, right,” (Y/n) chuckled, mildly embarrassed, “Cat instinct I guess.”
“Anyway,” Shinobu cleared her throat, “the meeting went well. So long as you continue to behave, we won’t have any problems.”
(Y/n) nodded in understanding, tail swishing as best it could under the kimono’s layers.
(Y/n) made herself very helpful around the mansion. She was a sight that many found hard to get used to, but over time she won many people over with her shy and gentle demeanor. She seemed to shine best in the infirmary. Shinobu had been nervous about her going in there at first, but she seemed to have a soothing affect on the injured slayers. Especially as a cat. Shinobu had read something about animals being a good aid in emotional recovery but she believed the negatives outweighed the positives.
However, seeing badly beaten slayers’ eyes light up when the cat came to visit them for scritches behind her ear, she could see the merit of such exposure.
But one cat was plenty. One cat demon was all the mansion needed.
***
Shinobu didn’t even need to open her eyes to know what the weight on her chest, nor figure out what the sound rumbling in her ears was. She had long since gotten used to waking up with (Y/n) having weaseled her way into her room. Of course, after Shinobu had finally given in after many months of fighting with herself about falling in love with a demon who could change in to a ball of fur, all (Y/n) really needed to do was ask if she wanted to cuddle so badly.
Shinobu blindly patted (Y/n)’s head, smiling when she got a little too close to an ear and it flicked against her wandering fingers. She heard the purring grow stronger and stifled a giggle as fists unconsciously kneaded at her ribs and stomach.
This was all the cat she would ever need.

Give me a summary of ye lore
okay! *proceeds to do the exact opposite of summerize*
Basically
The universe was created by a being named Dimitási. Dimitási is the omnipotent god of the universe, and the ruler of everything (tally hall reference).
There are many, many other gods, but the most well known ones are the Primordial gods.
CHAOS - god of nothingness (she/her)
Time - god of...time (any pronouns)
Space - self explanatory (he/she)
Créalie - goddess of life (she/her)
Decea - god of death (he/they)
Constella - goddess of dimensions (she/star)
Nyx - goddess of the night (she/her)
Hemera - god of the day (he/she)
there are also a few other gods worth noting, like Galatea (goddess of stars), Aitar (god of portals), Prism (god of light), and Abyss (god of darkness).
Two notable divine figures are The Messenger and Emery Kiyo. The Messenger, as the name implies, is a messenger of the gods. Emery is Decea’s second in command.
All mortals except for prototypes and failed species have magic. Prototypes and failed species will be touched upon later.
Now the history of the worlds.
The Inbetween is a plane of existence inbetween dimensions. In it, there’s a large group of cities called The Sectional. Outside of the Sectional is a vast, barren wasteland called the Voidenai Dwelling. The Voidenai are creatures hostile to mortals, created by the gods to keep mortals from visiting them. Outside of the dwelling is the Divine Plane. This is where the gods live.
Within the sectional, the big 3 dimensions are housed. The gateways to the dimensions are kept in castle towers. The Celestial Sector houses the Dream Realm. The Clockwork Sector houses the Fairy Realm. The Cyber Sector houses…well, the Cyber Realm. The other two used to be called the Celestial Realm and the Clockwork Realm, however their names were changed to fit the changing times of the dimensions.
When the idea of dimensions was first thought of, there was some argument among the primordial gods. There needed to be a god of dimensions. Some wanted to create a new god, but others thought introduced such an important god so late was a terrible idea. In the end, Constella got the short end of the stick. You see, Constella was the goddess of stars, but Dimitási simply decided that the domain of dimensions was more important. Galatea was created to replace her domain of stars, and a new bitter rivalry begun. Nothing too bad came of this other than petty anger and pranks.
Créalie went nuts creating new creatures for these dimensions, so much so that Dimitási had to put a limit on her and created a method to making species. Créalie was (reasonably) pissed that her fun was being ruined, but she knew better than to argue with them, so she just begrudgingly went with it.
Créalie had to create and raise prototypes before sticking them in dimensions. Créalie, famously hating children, was not very fond of this. Failed creations began to pile up, and she needed somewhere to put them. She “nicely” asked Constella to create a new dimension to dump them all in. Thus, the Planetarium was created.
The Planetarium was different from other dimensions in that, rather than being a seemingly endless mass of land, it was a seemingly endless void in all directions, with “planets” and “stars” and various other things scattered throughout. Dimitási was furious once they found out Créalie had just been dumping these creatures there and leaving them to their own devices, however it later proved very useful.
Demons, angels, bugs, shadows, dolls, so many creatures being made. Créalie was having a field day. All of them were placed in the Fairy Realm. She was going to make another one to place there. Another main species. The human was supposed to be something big. They were supposed to be magical creatures just like the rest, however, whem s nrw [ERRdOR] [DATeA LOST] [DO NsOT TRY AND BiRING THIS UrP AGAIN] [THeIS IS YOUR LAST WARaNING] and thus, humans were stripped of their magic and placed in the Planetarium, on a planet later named Earth.
The government in the realms vary. The Inbetween has various councils, the Dream Realm generally has democracies, the Fairy Realm has kings and queens, and the Cyber Realm is pretty communist.
This is unfortunately where our tour ends for now. In order to continue, I’d have to start going into detail on the vast histories and intricacies of every single realm. Here is a basic summery of the large scale lore of multidimensional :)

THE CROW'S NEST 07 — TAICHI
Tumblr media
...Well, calling him a member of The Crow's Nest is inaccurate. Taichi is more of Shido's worker than Akechi's—though they have their own deal. He's underqualified for any position so high up, nothing but a clumsy, inept airhead. It's not like he doesn't know that, though; it seems someone else doesn't.
"Please, please, please let me stay here. I don't wanna go back to sleeping on my brother's couch, it'll be so embarrassing! I'll get ya anything you want! ...Whaddya want?"
Shido's "personal secretary", he tried to say, but he gave up on the word 'personal'. That's what he is. He's also Kiyoe's uncle, an astonishing discovery, seeing as how the rest of that family is so exceptional, intelligent, skilled, admirable, and he's just... Taichi.
Apparently, Kiyoe's father had to bribe quite a few people just for the chance of Taichi getting a job. He's not even very good at the one he got—sure, he can remember to tell Shido about important messages and appointments... if he manages to stay sober the whole day. Taichi had to beg to get hired, and he was begging again to be made to look good.
Akechi used to think he was pathetic, deserving every ounce of misery he got. Easy to crush, like a bug. He agrees... eventually.
Taichi, and Akechi's taking a page out of a certain vulgar friend's book for this one, is a bumbling idiot who can't fight against anyone, not even himself. He gives in to his urges easily, often found drinking instead of working, and generally weak-willed when someone starts bossing him around. Maybe he's a good assistant in that regard.
At the very least, he doesn't have a stick up his rear. Taichi is well-meaning, although he fumbles with his words very often, and he has an infectiously cheery attitude. Akechi can't fathom him being Kiyoe's uncle; and such a caring one, at that.
Taichi cares about Kiyoe. He's proud of her for everything she's done, and he doesn't want to disappoint her. He knows he's not the greatest person in the world, but he still wants to be a great uncle. He knows he doesn't have a lot, but he has Kiyoe. The only reason he's trying so hard to keep his job is to keep her happy.
Akechi thinks he's pathetic... yet he agrees to help.

@moxiethesimp asked: Can We Get More Of The Villains In V3 Precure Au?
I tried to focus a little more on Miu, Kiibo, Korekiyo, and Kirumi since I feel like I already drew plenty of stuff with Tsumugi and Kokichi.
The bracelets are the villains’ mid-to-late-season power up to summon stronger monsters, post-Kokichi’s faceturn.  Anyway, they look like the UDG bomb bracelets here. Also, Miu and Kiibo fuse. I want to call them Miibo, but the villains do have separate villain names, so it’d have to be Riballo or Caddari, neither of which is that fun.
(Tsu: Regli, Kii: Caballo, Miu: Riddari, Kiyo: Kuriero, Kiru: Turris, Kichi: Lazieri, FYI, since I only mentioned it the once offhand)
But speaking of Kokichi, I feel like he'd usually brush off Kaito's comment way better (Oh? That's some nice bull****! You should open a greeting card business! Or maybe become one of those self-help guru con artists. Except, isn't that already—"), but Kaito managed to hit on the exact right trigger for "can't deal at all; murder time". Also they're roommates, so zero privacy, which would inspire anyone to violence imo.
Also, you're not allowed to swear in the Precure world. The universe itself just bleeps you out.

(from clemsharmony)
questions on the sun hashira au,, that i’m having to send through submissions because i hit the character limit for asks LOL
do you know roughly how old you see the characters as? i know tanjirou is 21 and nezuko biologically 12, but i don’t think you’ve said about anyone else! i’m seeing giyuu as pretty young since i generally imagine him being no older than thirteen in final selection, so even though in KNY canon he’s one of the middleaged hashira, i see sh!giyuu and think he’s one of the youngest of the not-friend-group.
makomo must be 22 or 23 now if she saved little tanj when she was a ‘remarkably young hashira’, and the other hashira’s ages are pretty easy to figure out since you’ve said tanjirou’s 21. inosuke is probably 21, genya zenitsu kanao and aoi 22. senjurou has no *explicitly* confirmed age, but he is said to be the same age as mui in a light novel, so i think it’s safe to say however old yuui and mui are, he’s roughly the same. the tokitou twins would be 20, and you say senjurou is younger than yuui, so he could be 19 or 20 too.
so yeah, i’ve figured out the hashira’s ages pretty easily. it’s the tsuguko’s / slayers ages i’d love to know! are you sticking with their canon age order, or messing them about a bit? i’d like to imagine gyoumei still being the oldest of them all, maybe 18, though if he was that old then there wouldn’t be many years between him and genya. like i said before, i love little giyuu too.. but you could very easily say that his final selection was when he and sabito were a little older, or he’s trained under tanjirou for a good few years, so would be old enough to stay in the middle-ish age range of the not-friend-group.
if you can’t tell, i absolutely love analysing character ages.
-
-
i also put a lot of thought into character ages! luckily for you, they’re one of the first things i wrote down! so here’s a big ass list:
so first off, you got basically all of the hashira right
kamado tanjirou - 21
makomo - 25
rengoku senjurou - 19
agatsuma zenitsu - 22
tsuyuri kanao - 22
kanzaki aoi - 22
hashibira inosuke - 21
tokitou yuuichirou - 20
shinazugawa genya - 22
i kept their age differences relatively canon, and used senjurou’s age in kimetsu gakuen where he’s a first year in junior high which would make him 12/13 ish in actual canon. aoi doesn’t have a canon age beyond “at least 16” so she’s just the same age as kanao and genya
(continuing below the cut because wow, this got a bit long)
the littler guys are a bit weirder because their age differences are a lot crazier. so i changed some stuff up and squished some age differences so the entire group is just kind around 15 (with the obvious exception of muichirou, who is the same age as his brother)
tomioka giyuu - 15
sabito - 15
kochou shinobu - 14
rengoku kyoujurou - 15
uzui tengen - 16
kanroji mitsuri - 14
tokitou muichirou - 20
shinazugawa sanemi - 15
himejima gyoumei - 17
iguro obanai - 15
kochou kanae - 15
kaigaku - 15
did you know that we don’t actually know how old giyuu was when he and sabito went to final selection? canonically, his sister died when he was thirteen, and that’s also when he started training with urokodaki, but we don’t know how long he trained for, if he went to final selection the same year he came to urokodaki. anyways, in this au, giyuu trains for two whole years with urokodaki before going to final selection
and here’s just . a list of a bunch of other characters, both major and minor
kamado nezuko - 20 (physically 12)
murata - 15
kumeno masachika - ??? somewhere in his 20s
ubuyashiki kagaya - (spoilers, i’ll talk about this eventually)
ubuyashiki kiriya - (spoilers, i’ll talk about this eventually)
nakahara sumi - 19
terauchi kiyo - 19
takada naho - 19
gotou - 16
suma - 15
makio - 15
hinatsuru - 16
haganezuka hotaru - 14
kotetsu - 19
yushirou - over 300
tamayo - ~30
tsugikuni yoriichi - over 300
if someone isn’t listed, i either do not care about their age or i do not know what to put. most of the demons are left alone because i didn’t want to actually go through the trouble of swapping them around. sorry

Investigating the worst clue ever. Do I even need to tell you this part's stupid? I think this is universally agreed to be the dumbest clue in franchise history, except maybe 11037. And 11037, at least, had a fair excuse for existing.
Tumblr media
So we find the crime scene and all of the wax effigies Angie had made have been tied up by their ankles. Why would someone do this? What does this have to do with the murder? Well, it's to make the statues look less fucking conspicuous.
Yeah. That's right. This was done to avoid drawing people's attention to the fucking statues. Because that makes sense.
Specifically, it's to avoid drawing attention to Kaede's. Because, see, by hanging all four statues up like this, it avoids making Kaede's statue look suspicious. Now there's nothing about the crime scene that makes Kaede's, in particular, stand out at all.
Tumblr media
Absolutely nothing at all. 10/10 Maximum camouflage.
So.
Okay.
We have the sword. Not just any sword. The gold-flaked sword from 1-1 included in Tsumugi's Killing Game because Tsumugi's a fucking nerd. Specifically, the sword in Kiyo's possession, that the game made a point to call your attention to and let you know that Kiyo has this sword.
Nothing suspicious about that at all.
But. Like. What is this? Why is this here? We've solved the incredibly complicated mystery of why the statues are hung upside down but why is Kiyo's sword, property of Kiyo, do not touch except for Kiyo at the crime scene stabbed into Kaede?
Well, that was the only way he could do spinaround twirly-doos to create the locked room mystery, of course!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Again, I don't think you need me to tell you that this is the dumbest thing ever. This is pretty universally agreed to be the dumbest thing ever.
Kiyo incriminated himself by bringing his unique one-of-a-kind gold-flake katana to the crime scene so he could fabricate the most ridiculous mechanism in a game that features a Rube Goldberg murder, for the purpose of constructing a locked room.
And why did he need to construct a locked room?
I dunno. Because locked room mysteries are cool, I guess. Gotta give you something to puzzle out because... the culprit can't be doing that for you.
Technically, the reason is so that everyone would be like "BUT WHO COULD HAVE KILLED ANGIE" and agree to do the seance. But. Like. Angie's death is already a pretty complicated affair, seeing as how literally everyone in this building had a motive. The locked room adds nothing; It only helps narrow down the suspects. To. Uh. One.

Hey mind telling me what the story behind Kiyo’s sister is? I’m kind of clueless and only heard one story of the whole thing😅
This got decently long, so I've put it under a cut. I'll add it to the FAQ tomorrow as well, since it's come up a few times!
I will also request that this post not be reblogged to hate blogs or blogs specifically dedicated to "bad" or "disliked" content. As someone who has been harassed as a result of content being circulated in those circles, it makes me very panicked and anxious to see my work on similar blogs. If you do so, I will need to block you for my own mental stability.
In V3 chapter three, Korekiyo admits to mass murder and takes on the guise of his sister to do so. As a result of being nearly beaten to death at one point, Korekiyo created a tulpa of his dead sister (who we'll call by her popular fan name, Miyadera, from here on). He believed Miyadera wanted him to murder 100 girls, and claimed that they were once lovers.
In general, fans seem to take Korekiyo's claims at face value. Which is...weird, considering how obviously the whole thing is a "mentally ill delusional sexually deviant serial killer" trope played completely straight. And that his worldview includes things like "I should kill people so my dead sister has friends." But let's set that aside, and say that, for the sake of explaining the popular fandom viewpoint, Korekiyo is a reliable narrator.
So in chapter 3, when he is on the brink of being cornered, Korekiyo begins to switch between his own identity and the identity of his sister's tulpa. These are the only potential looks we have into Miyadera's personality. To give you the gist, here are all of the quotes while Korekiyo takes on his sister's guise that are listed on the Wiki.
Tumblr media
(Please note that the "Apologize" is directed at another student who challenges Korekiyo.)
I'm going to be honest. I have reread this a LOT trying to figure out what everyone else is apparently seeing here that I am not. At worst, this reads to me as a slightly stern etiquette teacher. But the popular fandom perception is that this dialogue implies that Miyadera was manipulating and abusing Korekiyo. I could not honestly tell you WHY people believe this, but they do.
And people ran with that. They ran with that so hard. Every sin Korekiyo commits is pinned down as being Miyadera's fault, and Korekiyo is absolved of his crimes as a result of being an abuse victim. It's similar to the effect you often see in the way people discuss Junko and Mukuro, except that Mukuro does not invoke nearly as much sympathy on a larger level, even though Junko's mockery and subsequent murder of her sister are explicit canon.
Now, to be clear: I don't buy into this. I think this is an extremely generous reading of Korekiyo's character, and that it removed his agency and the horror of his crimes to make him more sympathetic (particularly for shipping purposes - if you glance through the Miyadera tag, you see a LOT of Korekiyo/Rantaro fics with Miyadera as the evil abuser Rantaro must rescue Korekiyo from). I also think that people give too much credit to the canonicity of Miyadera's "possession" when it isn't clear, even in the universe of the game itself, whether Miyadera is actually a tulpa or if it's an identity that resulted from Korekiyo's trauma, like Syo/Jack.
But on its own, I don't care about it THAT much. People have headcanons I disagree with all the time. I don't really like a lot of people's thoughts about Nagito's backstory, either, but I don't think about it very often, and I certainly don't care enough to get mad about it. The problem is...
People are very, VERY violent about Miyadera.
I'm going to ask you to reread the quotes from Miyadera as a reminder of literally everything we know about her personality. And then I'll ask you to read this post.
Tumblr media
This...is, in fact, despite all odds, the predominate opinion on Miyadera. If you go into her character tags, there are an endless number of posts like these, daydreaming about doing violence on her person, murdering her, torturing her, etc.
As a Grandparent (25, the age of spinsterhood), this sets off some alarm bells. This is how people used to treat female characters who got in the way of their favorite ships, like Kairi from Kingdom Hearts. Now, that is popularly understood to have been a result of misogyny. It is horrifying to see that it has survived.
Fantasizing about committing excessive violence against a woman...is misogyny. Making up crimes a woman did not canonically commit as an excuse to justify fantasizing about violence against her is misogyny. It is one thing to dislike a character based on headcanons. It is a totally separate matter to participate in and encourage this level of vitrol solely to make a male character more sympathetic.
To clarify: I do not think that misogyny is the sole reason for this interpretation. By nature, Danganronpa appeals to teenagers, who tend to fall into this type of fandom-wide trap more easily. But it is, in fact, more concerning to normalize this sort of thought process among teens and young people. And so I am very defensive of Miyadera's actual character as a result.
