⛤Kitchen Witchcraft-Lavender⛤

Lavender is one of the most popular ingredients in the craft, whose scent eliminates tension, strengthens intuition, improves dreams and protects against evil spirits.

This plant is ruled by the planet Mercury, the element of air and the sign of Gemini.

Among the Romans, lavender was added to bath water and served as a symbol of abundance on the table.

How Do I Disassemble A Spell Jar?

I’ve seen way too many posts about how to make one, but never any about how to take one apart.

If you buried your spell jar (or otherwise placed it somewhere not in your general vicinity), retrieve it first.

There are a few ways to go about disassembling a spell jar.

Throwing Everything Away

Returning It to Nature

Burning It

Putting It Into Another Container for Safekeeping

Retrieving the Reusable Ingredients (crystals, shells, etc.) and Getting Rid of the Rest

Throwing Everything Away

As simple as it sounds. I would recommend breaking the seal (melting it or even just stabbing it) before getting rid of it, to break the spell itself. Keep the jar and wash it or throw it away with the rest of it. Throw the contents into the trash (or a dumpster, if you don’t want it near you).

Returning It to Nature

Also very simple. Can only be used with natural ingredients. Do not dump in rivers. Retrieve any non-organic materials (crystals, shells, poppets, etc.) to either reuse or get rid of separately. Be sure it doesn’t include things that can harm the local wildlife.

Burning It

Empty the contents of the jar into a different, fire-safe bowl or plate. Then, burn it. Simple as that. Lighters or matches, it doesn’t matter. Be sure that you and any pets or family can inhale the fumes from it. This is usually used with spells that have little amounts of ingredients. Be sure to research fire safety and safety when it comes to burning herbs and other ingredients.

Putting It Into Another Container for Safekeeping

Transferring the contents into a different container. Usually done when you want to reuse the jar or size down the original jar. Break the seal, pour it into your other container, seal that, and you’re done. Super easy. Can also be used when putting a spell into a ‘dormant’ state.

Retrieving the Reusable Ingredients and Getting Rid of the Rest

What I see the most in the witch community. Reusable ingredients include crystals, shells, rocks, bones, and anything else that can be used again. Doing this is a bit harder when the jar has liquid. Break the seal and place the contents of the jar into another container. Then, pick out all of the reusable items, the ones that you want to keep. Wash them and dispose of the contents of the jar through one of the methods above.

Notes

When disassembling a spell jar, it’s always good to declare the intentions of the jar done (or dormant). If the spell could have negative consequences on your or someone else’s life, be sure to neutralize the energy you have put into the spell. Cast a counter-spell or just neutralize the spell. ⛤Kitchen Witchcraft-Plants and Dolls⛤

Plants played an important role in many traditions and were used for rituals of luck, protection and achieving certain goals.

Ancient sorcerers and alchemists believed that if the laws of nature were respected and followed, plants would reveal all their medicinal properties to them in order to heal the body's diseases.

Marigold has long been known as a flower of protection and a flower that knows how to keep secrets. It is believed that it will neutralize unwanted influences if it is placed in a window.

Hawthorn is known for its ability to ward off evil forces and enhance material progress. But there is also a belief that says that a hawthorn tree must not be destroyed, because otherwise a curse will fall on that person's family.

Witch hazel is one of the most used in love magic. A person who cannot find a partner should carry with him one head of witch hazel. If there is a doubt that there are negative influences in the house, this grass should be sprinkled in all corners of the rooms.

Verbena is known for its ability to protect women's beauty. It is used in rituals when love is unrequited and for success in court cases.

Nettle neutralizes negative influences. It is used in rituals to encourage courage, protect the home and purify it.

Lavender belongs to one of the most popular plants for defense against evil. It is used in magical beauty baths and love spells.

Sage has many medicinal properties. It is believed that being placed under the pillow brings prophetic dreams.

Wormwood is a very powerful plant that is used a lot in magical rituals. There is a belief that a person will be protected on a trip if he carries dry wormwood leaves with them.

⛤Simple Doll Magic

There are many techniques with which we can strengthen our energy or contribute to the realization of certain intentions.

For this purpose, certain plants are placed in a cloth doll, which is most often made with the aim of healing, but also to attract love or financial progress.

These dolls were used several thousand years ago, they were made of various medicinal plants and cloth.

They symbolically represent a person through whose help improvement occurs.

Making this doll is very simple.

The outline of a human figure should be drawn on the material of the appropriate color, then cut, hemmed and filled with plants that have a suitable purpose.

For example, rosemary is used for better concentration, thyme is used to boost mood, and fresh nettle leaves are used to recover from illness.

Beginner Witch Tips - Kitchen Witch Edition

The oven can be your hearth. If a spell or ritual requires a hearth, your stove is just that. That being said, do not set anything on fire in your oven. Bad! No!

You don't need separate kitchen and altar herbs, although it is handy.

Some crystals can be used in kitchen magic, but I don't recommend putting them in or on anything other than a crystal on top of firm dough as it rests/rises. Secure crystals onto mixing equipment or spoons, or forgo using them at all.

Listen to witchy music as you cook or bake. I promise atmosphere is almost everything! It helps me focus. I recommend Peter Gundry.

While pets are cute and certainly carry spiritual energy with them, try to keep them out of the kitchen while you cook, especially if you have a certain intention you're trying to carry into your food. Their presence can distract you, throw off the energy you have accumulated, or otherwise disrupt the process. Once you're more confident with your kitchen witchery, their presence won't be such a big deal.

Take your time. It's okay. Sometimes it takes a while to truly clock into your spiritual energy while you're actively moving about and busy working, especially if you're used to practicing while sitting or standing in one spot. Remember - energy flows with you, not just around you.

Start small. Start with something simple like pancakes. For example: add a dash of vanilla to your pre-made batter mix to invoke self-love.

Write down things as you continue to work. Document what you're comfortable with, what you feel like you're good at, your project, and everything you feel you might want to. As you continue to work on that journal, you can go back and see how you've progressed!
