(Name) munched on some sweet bread as he watched the practice match, water bottles beside him as Kiyoko and Yachi went over their notes, neither paying the other teen to much mind as you see, (name) was mainly here for moral support and because Daichi was incredibly over protective of his younger brother.
"Oh, thank you (name)" Kiyoko said as the two girls were offered bread by the other, somehow he had an endless supply of sweet bread "he makes it himself in the mornings" was what Daichi said once but this much?
"(Name)? Could you be a dear and refill the water bottles with cold water?" Yachi asked the other who looked excited and determined, nodding with little sparkles around him as he took the container filled with water bottles and darted out "we didn't..tell him where it was yet" oh boy, well hopefully he comes back.
The training camp was huge, the other schools playing or doing their own thing as (name) wandered around trying to find where to fill the water bottles "oh? Is that the younger Sawamura?" (Name) looked over at the voices go see oikawa and kuroo looking at him and (name) set the container down and waved, munching on bread as the two captains wandered to him "long time no see shorty!" Kuroo teased as oikawa mumbled something about stealing him to Aoba joasai but all who knew of his brother knew that it would be a very stupid idea.
After all, who dares take karasunos mascot?
"Still eating bread I see?"
Nod nod
"Where are you off too?" Oikawa asked and (name) pointed his thumb to the bottles and the two nodded.
(Name) was hoisted onto Kuroos back as oikawa held the bottles,(name)s shortness making him easy for lifting and carrying "oh... I'm out of bread..." (Name) mumbled as they got to the water spot kuroo setting him down as the two captains looked curious, rarely did anyone hear (name) speak as kuroo barked out a laugh "of course that's what you worry about!" As kuroo patted his head, the captains helping him with his water bottles before letting him go back to his team where Tanaka whined "(name)! There you are!" The bald teen was on the bench holding ice to his head, whining about needing their precious mascot to help him as (name) wandered to his bag and pulled out two rolls of bread and shoved one on his mouth before giving Tanaka one, patting his head happily.
'fuzzy wuzzy was a bear...' (name) thought jokingly as Tanaka praised him.
(Name) returned to his spot as the team chugged their water and chatted with fukurodani about their plays, (name) listening as Tanaka and Hinata rabled about their plays.
Just a normal day for (name).

(Name) sighed as he ran a hand down his face. His team had just arrived at a training camp from Nekoma. They had literally just got off the bus, and they've already made a protective barrier around him.
(Name) looked at his fellow Managers. "Shimi-senpai please help me." Kiyoko and Yachi just chuckled and walked to the gym. (Name) felt so embarrassed. Everyone was watching them as they entered. He just wanted the earth to open up and eat him.
(Name) made his way to the other managers who looked to be having the time of their lives. (Name) huffed and crossed his arms. "It's not funny! I literally can't do anything on my own anymore."
Kiyoko modded with a short chuckle. "It's true. Watch this!" She lightly grabbed his shoulders. "Coach! Coach Ukai, (Name) has to go to the bathroom so I'm gonna show him where it is."
The coach didn't even get to reply when, the Karasuno players immediately volunteered to take her spot. Making (Name) even more embarrassed and the other managers could barely contain their laughter.
Coach Ukai yelled at the players to get back to their warm-ups, while Kiyoko showed (Name) around the campus. Where they (the managers) were sleeping, and where the players were gonna be sleeping. Where the shower rooms were. Also where the kitchen was.
When they entered th kitchen the other managers were cooking. While got right to work. The other managers were catching up with each other. Some talking about how they've starting courting or are being courted. Thats when (Name) got dragged into the topic.
"So (Name), which player are you with?" (Name) huffed and continued cutting the vegetables. "None of them!" That shocked the other managers. Kiyoko laughed and Yachi just smiled. "He's telling the truth. None of the players have even tried courting him."
Yachi nodded and smiled wider when Kiyoko hugged her from behind. "Yeah. They like him but they won't even try to give him a courting gift. They just surround him and expect him to fall for them." (Name) raised the knife in the air. "Which won't work!"
The managers laughed again. This was the best entertainment they've had since Yachi joined them. "So wait. If another player from a different school wanted to court you, would they have a chance?"
(Name) turned around. Shocked. "Um I guess? I don't really know anyone else since the guys keep everyone away." The managers shared a look. "What? Whats everyone looking like that for?" Poor boy was so confused with the looks.
But he got scared when they turned to him smirking. That's how he ended up having to go and inform the players and coaches that lunch was ready, in one of the managers school uniform. That's right. The girl school uniform. Poor boy was shaking by the time he got to the gym.
The Alphas tried to pounce on the poor Omega but luckily the coaches were there. Ukai saw the look on the managers face and immediately, he didn't want to do this. So he ushered the boy out of the gym and told him to change.
Which (Name) would've done. If he could find his bag! That's when (Name) understood what the managers wanted him to do. They wanted him to ask an Alpha for his clothing. But jokes on them! Cause he'll ask one of the Beta players for their clothes instead.
At least he tried to do. As soon as he came to the cafeteria where the players were eating, they once again tried to pounce on the poor Omega who at this point was close to crying. Coach Ukai asked the boy what was wrong. He was surprised to find out his bag was missing.
"Alright who ever took (Last Name)'s bag, return it to him immediately!" Nobody moved. (Name) looked at the managers and saw them worried and confused. Wait....did they not take his bag? (Name) by now was crying. He was scared and just wanted his clothing back.
Ukai sighed heavily. "Alright since nobody is confessing. I guess we'll be searching your rooms. And before you guys say anything we have a right. An Omega's property has been stolen. Which is bad but his stuff he needs? Even worse. When we find his bag the student or students will be punished severely."
Ukai tried calming (Name) down but failed so he just sat him at the managers table. Where the managers immediately started apologizing to the poor male omega. Kiyoko explained that she'll ask the beta players from their team if he could borrow their clothes.
The Karasuno players glared around. Someone made their precious manager cry. They were definitely gonna hurt whoever did it. They just needed to find out who. They could hear (Name) crying from the other side of the room and it broke their hearts. They hated seeing him like this.
The people responsible were going to be in deep shit, when they get ahold of them.

Weak Immune System (Karasuno Volleyball Club/*MALE* reader) Part III
'Jesus, when did the weather get this pissed off?' You mused. Beyond the safety of the gym the rain was pelting down in sheets that pounded against the windows, the claps of thunder that followed lightning flashes made the glass shake. 'I thought the storm wasn't supposed to start 'till midnight.'
'Looks like mother nature changed her mind,' Suga mused 'I'm worried, Hinata can't possibly peddle home in the rain and at night.'
You looked down at your upperclassman, he was huddled in his uniform jacket, arms wrapped around himself, trying to keep himself from showing how cold he was. Your bigger build granted you more protection from the cold. You shrugged off your extra jacket and threw it around Suga, leaving yourself with the long waterproof windbreaker you'd be needed to get home. 'Worry about yourself a little there, Sugamama.'
The setter's face flushed as he took in the garment that you tucked firmly over his shoulders, it was at least two sizes too big for him. 'Hey! I'm not a girl!'
With a curious frown, you tilted your head at him 'is that supposed to be a reason for me to let you freeze to death, dumbass?'
'You've been spending too much time with Kageyama.' Suga pouted at you but didn't object any further.
You smiled wistfully and glanced around. The rest of the team was scattered around the gym, sat against walls, or standing in groups. The first year that Suga was worried about didn't look phased with the prospect of cycling home in a hurricane, but you knew that in this weather, cars were going to have trouble seeing him on those unlit mountain roads, on top of that, Hinata was wearing black. There was no way you were letting him go home in this, and it didn't look likely to let up any time soon.
Daichi walked over to join the two of you beside the window, if he noticed Sugawara huddling into your jacket, he didn't say anything, merely followed your eyes to the ginger, sat against the wall, talking to Noya. 'What does the forecast say?'
'Nothing nice,' you replied grimly 'my place is closest, might ask 'im if he wants to stay over. No one's gonna see him in this weather, it's an accident waiting to happen.'
'Sorry, Suga did you grow up?'
'Ha.Ha. Very funny cap.' you rolled your eyes, grateful to be dragged out of your fretting. You don't know how Suga does it, the anxiety would kill you.
'I'm making a run for it guys!' Tanaka announced 'Saeko's gonna freak if I'm late for movie night!'
'Don't die!' you teased 'I'll steal the girlfriend you don't have!'
Tanaka flipped you the bird 'screw you, dude!'
'You wish!' the pair of you chuckled before he turned away and took off into the deluge, soon followed by Nishinoya who was probably going to crash at Tanaka's place now that you thought about it.
'I guess we outta make a run for it too.' Asahi concluded.
As everyone else braced for the downpour, Suga nudged you toward Hinata. The boy's expression had shifted to something resembling apprehension, and you knew he was trying to hide the fact that he was nervous about going home. You sighed and tapped the boy on the shoulder 'Hinata, cycling home's gonna be a little on the risky side in this weather, you can come to stay at mine if you want.'
Hinata squawked in surprise, stepping back as his face flushed 'I-I'm not scared!'
You chuckled 'I believe you, so? I'd feel a little better knowing you're not trying to climb a mountain in the dark.'
'If your parents don't mind...'
'Pfft, don't worry about my parents. Dad would be more upset I didn't offer. So, race ya?' you gave your junior a roguish grin, shrugging on your waterproof over your bag to keep your books dry.
'You're on!'
'Don't stay up too late, Sleeping Beauty!' Suga teased on your way out, looking relieved.
'Dude, it's me, be lucky if I'm awake past ten!' you huffed, holding the door open for Hinata 'see ya tomorrow!'
Side by side, you and Hinata pelted through the rain. Your shoes were soaked in seconds, puddles splashing up your legs and soaking your trousers while the wind and water beat down against the thin layer separating your skin from the weather. Hinata was fast beside you, almost too fast, you were worried you'd lose him if he took off ahead without knowing the way. You wouldn't put it past him, nor were you in the mood to explain to the club parents that you'd lost their baby crow, so you reached out and snagged Hinata's sopping wet sleeve, tugging lightly as you weaved off the main road and pelted up a flooded side-street, water rushing down, washing over your sneakers.
Hinata's sleeve slipped through your fingers when he slipped in the riverbed that was once a road, and you managed to catch his hand just in time, your momentum hauling him upright after you, he was so light and you were still warm from practice, long legs eating ground even up the steep hill.
You didn't dare let go of him again, weaving past the occasional pothole that you knew all too well and through the back gate of your house. Your family home had a granny annex attached to the side of the main house, you'd moved into it when your older brother had moved out this year. Up a short flight of stairs, you shoved the screen door open and practically hurled Hinata inside the entrance hall ahead of you, gasping for breath and feeling both hot and cold at the same time.
With the door shut behind you, you looked at Hinata and laughed, the shorter boy soon joining you as he collapsed onto the tiles of the mud-closet, as you called it.
'Thanks for catching me back there!' the ginger scratched the back of his neck sheepishly 'I thought for sure I was gonna knock my two front teeth out!'
You chuckled, shrugging off your soaked overcoat, thankfully at least some of parts of you were dry, the same could not be said for any part of your bellow the knee 'no worries, give me two seconds and I'll get you a change of clothes, you look like a drowned rat.'
It was true, Hinata's usually voluminous tufts of orange laid flat against his forehead, some still dripping water onto the tiles. He'd be freezing his ass off soon if he didn't get a warm shower, with how small he was.
You found some of your old clothes, even if you had been fourteen the last time any of these fit you, they would still be a little big on Hinata, but it was the best you'd find without raiding your younger brother's closet, and you doubted Shouyou would appreciate you telling him that he fit your ten-year-old brother's clothes. You offered Hinata some dry slippers and ushered him into your little one-bedroom annex.
He looked around at the open layout, you had a kitchenette to the right of the door, a small living area in the center, and your bedroom was on the left, the bathroom was ensuite.
'Wow, you have all this to yourself? Don't you get lonely?'
You shrugged 'family tradition, the oldest son always moves in here before moving away for good.'
'How many oldest sons are there?' Hinata regretted phrasing it that way, but as usual, you merely chuckled off his awkwardness.
'There are four of us brothers altogether,' you explained, holding out a towel wrapped around a change of clothes 'now go shower, your dripping on my floor.'
'Sorry!' The redhead followed your directions to the bathroom, and you soon heard the sound of running water, so you took to your fridge to find something to feed you both. You hadn't been counting on having guests, and you knew for a fact that Hinata could eat like a horse after practice, so you made your way to the storage closet in the corner of your little space. It was like a secret passage, through a hazardous trap door that lead directly into your younger brother's room. He was busy playing video games with his headphones in, so you snuck past without bothering him and raided your mother's fridge while she was still in her office. It was nothing new, she always had the thing stocked to bursting anyway.
You returned unseen from your mission and managed to haul the load back through the trap door without dropping it all. With the shower still running, you got busy making dinner. In your family, everyone but your mother better be a good cook, the poor woman had no taste so anything she made was good only by accident and coincidence. Your father had drilled the art of not letting shit burn into all of your brothers at a young age, so much so that his first son now worked at a Michelin star restaurant somewhere in London.
Hinata emerged from your room, and before you could say a word, you burst out laughing, because the tiny middle blocker was drooling, following his nose and dragging his feet toward the pull-out table where you'd set a huge dish of egg fried rice. You'd found a fuckton of cooked rice downstairs.
Wordlessly, you served him a massive helping and handed him a pair of chopsticks 'enjoy, I'mma go change.'
Hinata gaped at you in awe 'you're an angel!'
'It's just egg-fried-rice dude, easy as fuck.' You shrugged, heading to your room, smiling as you heard Hinata tucking into the food you'd made. You ran the risk of him eating all of it before you got back, but you could live with that "happy hampster" look he got.
After changing, you and Hinata sat on your sofa so you could eat, you tried not to chuckle at how baggy your old clothes looked on him as you flicked through your phone.
'Hey, (Y/N)-senpai?'
'Yeah?' you looked up to find the boy staring at you with those wide, hazel eyes, like you were something complex to be solved, like a math problem or something 'why are you looking at me like that, man?'
'How come you act like you're not a good player?' Hinata ignored your question, still staring at you like he could burn the answers out of your soul 'you're probably just as good as Kageyama, so why won't you let coach put you in?'
'Pfft, me? As good as Kageyama?! Yeah right.'
Hinata pouted and stood up, marching into your room, only to return with one of the frames you kept on your dresser. He sat beside you and shoved the picture into your lap 'I wasn't sure who it was at first, your hair's so different but, is that you, at the All-Japan Junior training camp?'
You sighed heavily, pinching the bridge of your nose. The whole point of dying your hair is completely different from your natural colour was to avoid people recognizing you in featured pictures like this, how had the shortcake figured it out?
'Yes, yes that's me and my older brother.' you relented 'I was in my third year in middle school, none of the guys know about this so don't you dare tell 'em.'
'Why not?!' Hinata wailed 'we're going up against Shiratorizawa! It's going to be five whole sets! If you'd at least sub in to give Daichi or Asahi a break-!'
'I can't do that,' your voice was low, quiet, in massive contrast to Hinata's passionate outcry 'my brother made that mistake, he's playing on borrowed time to this day, his career could end with one fall.'
'What do you mean?' the boy blinked owlishly at you, leaning on the arm of the sofa.
'I told you, there's four of us. Our dad played all sorts of sports with us when we were kids. Fumihiro's my oldest brother, he might have become a chef but he was a regional tennis champion in mixed doubles. Masashi...we're only two years apart, and we both fell in love with volleyball. He always wanted to be on the court, we both did, but Masa...he wanted the entire team to rely on him, to believe in him no matter what position he played. One day he...he burned out, collapsed mid-set. Watching him getting taken away in an ambulance shook his teammates so much that they gave the game away. I know he's blamed himself for it ever since, but will he stop playing? Hell no.'
You crossed your arms and shrunk in on yourself, brows drew together in a scowl, glaring at the picture in your lap 'if people rely on me, I'll inevitably let them down, or burn myself out trying not to. I...I don't want to live as Masa does, wondering if and when his shoulder's gonna give out and force him to give up something he loves.'
'That's...Senpai you're an idiot!' Hinata wailed, making you jump and knock the frame off of your lap, but your eyes were fixed on the determination in your junior's eyes. 'You told me so many times, there are six people on the court, SIX! That means that there are five other people to fall back on if one falls short! You're just so scared of failing you won't even try and that...that pisses me off! You're tall, you're good at the game and everyone can see it!'
There were tears in his eyes now, his cheeks were flushed crimson, and you froze as the weight of his words hit you like a ton of bricks. Here he was trying to compensate for not having something that he couldn't control, while you wallowed and fought your own desire to get on the court and fight with your friends.
It was almost ironic. 'If I could make you tall and me short, I would.' you murmured, Hinata opened his mouth to argue, but you held up a hand 'I know, that's not what you meant. Look, I can't promise anything, but...next time Coach tells me to get in there, I won't argue with him, okay?'
Hinata lit up with a smile, the tears forgotten and replaced with the sun in your own living room 'just try! That's all I ask Senpai!'
'Quit tryna butter me up, Tangerine, I ain't Noya.' You reached to ruffle his damp hair, smiling despite yourself. The frame lay forgotten on the coffee table while you and Hinata went about setting up the sofa-bed, arguing about who would take it or the bed while a movie played in the background. It didn't end up mattering, since at exactly ten o'clock you knocked out with a half-eaten back of chips in your lap, and Hinata soon followed suit after binging at least two more episodes of the series you insisted he starts watching.

𝕚 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 𝕪𝕠𝕦'𝕣𝕖 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕔𝕠𝕠𝕝 | 009.
haikyuu x m!reader
masterlist
[name] was the last of his team to step off the bus. he was more tense than usual. probably something to do with the devastating memories that came with facing inarizaki again.
apart of the first years, they all remembered the loss they had suffered after facing the black and white team last year. they had been lucky enough that itachiyama had knocked inarizaki off in the semi-finals in their second nationals, meaning they hadn't faced them since.
it was [name]'s first loss, something that stuck with him every time he played. he could never quite shake the heartache he felt. but it was just a practice match, he needed to remind himself. they had won nationals, surely they could handle a practice match with the team that placed lower than them.
that's right, they were ranked lower than them. [name] couldn't wait to see the look on miya atsumu's face when he mentioned it. the setter needed to be taken down a peg or two.
omoikane raised an eyebrow at the libero, already sensing something was brewing in his mind. "hirabayashi-kun, behave. inarizaki has been kind enough to allow us to train with them"
[name] scowled, offended, "i wasn't going to do anything!"
"we all know what you look like when you're planning something" yuuma slapped him on the shoulder, causing him to trip with the force of the hit. the h/c haired boy merely sent him a glare, shuffling over to his second year counterparts instead.
as they entered the gym inarizaki had already completed their set up, nets ready to go and drills in action. [name] knew it was purposeful, attempting to show off their skills and intimidate takumashii upon arrival. the second and third years remained unfazed, aware of inarizaki's skill levels and playing styles already.
the first years on the other hand were practically shaking like leaves. they looked ready to float away.
"cheer up!" susumu smirked at the pale look on their faces, amused by their fear. [name] sent him a small glare, remembering the shear panic on jun and yuichi's faces the minute they had shown up to their first tournament last year. it was hard to ignore the first time nerves and they could greatly impact the course of a match.
luckily for them, it wasn't a match they needed to worry about. just their reputation as seiichi had so kindly announced on the bus. [name] scowled at the third year boy, he was always stirring up trouble.
[name] followed along behind kousei, heading towards kita shinsuke and ojiro aran to greet them as captains. the older boy beside him bowed first, shaking hands with kita. [name] did the same with aran.
"thank you for having us" kousei spoke up first. "it's good to have another team to practice with"
"yes, it will be beneficial for us too" kita nodded, a small smile on his face.
"they're like robots" aran blanched, both he and [name] merely watched them interact.
[name] snorted, covering his mouth to hide his amusement as kousei side-eyed him. it was a silent threat. behave.
aran held back his own smile at the vice-captain's outburst. he was glad they weren't stuck up like atsumu had tried to tell them. sure, they had played against each other last year but they hadn't properly interacted before.
hopefully, this would be fun as well as beneficial.
this is was painful. [name] glared as he rubbed his raw arms. atsumu had been pelting him with serves for the past 10 mins, non-stop. he had yet to miss one receive but and it was starting to get on both of their nerves. the blonde setter grit his teeth, eye twitching in annoyance.
"you're never going to win whatever stupid challenge is in your head" suna remarked, crossing his arms and raising an eyebrow at the smack that resounded when atsumu served yet another ball towards the libero. seiichi had been the one to suggest he and atsumu work together for their warm ups to put aside whatever rivalry they had going on. they had competed through every step.
the takumashii ace, the traitor, was currently laughing his ass off on the other side of the gym, leaning on kousei to stand up straight as he watched the pair miserably play.
osamu and suna finally reached out to stop atsumu's next move, dragging him away to join everyone else in picking teams for their practice match. they were going to have two matches at once so that all players could play on court.
[name], seeing this, finally dropped to the floor in relief. yuuma held a hand out, biting back an amused grin.
"come on, we shouldn't keep taicho waiting" [name] nodded along in agreement, following the older boy to the group despite his body's reluctance.
"cheer up, heiwa-kun" jun and yuichi flagged him as they approached, easily ready to tease him all day. he groaned internally, slumping his shoulders in a pathetic attempt to ignore them.
"hirabayashi-senpai?" his saviour, the h/c haired boy's head snapped up immediately, expression glowing at the sight of ikehara tomio.
"yes, ikehara-kun?" he immediately shoved jun and yuichi to the side, suddenly full of energy as he hopped over, dragging the first year boy to the other side of the group.
"are we playing in different teams or as our normal team?" he questioned, unaware of his senpai's weird behaviour.
"i think we're playing in our regular team. why? you don't want to?" he hummed, raising an eyebrow at the shy boy. despite still being taller than his upperclassman, the boy cowered at the question, quickly taking it the wrong way.
"no, no! it's not that i'm complaining-" [name] laughed, stunning the boy again. he should probably be used to his smile now, after all, it was usually sent in the first year's direction. [name] pat his shoulder, trying to get him to release some tension.
"don't be so nervous, i'm not going to scold you" his eyes shone with amusement, "we can ask to switch it up, we're going to be playing a lot of matches today so it's fine"
"oh.. okay" tomio nodded slowly. "i wanted to.. i want to play with you, senpai"
[name] froze. his eyes widened slightly, blankly staring at the boy. tomio paused too, now unsure what he had said to warrant such a reaction. he blinked owlishly at [name], silently freaking out. they hadn't even known each other that long, was he being weird? did [name] want to be left alone? was that a weird request-
"oh" [name] slowly smiled, shyly chewing on his lip to stop the grin from widening. "well, i hope we can play together too, ikehara-kun"
the first year boy stood, stunned for a moment before also breaking out into a smile. neither had the chance to say anything, however, as omoikane and kurosu norimune, inarizaki's coach, called for everyone's attention.
"we're going to start with a few sets before our practice match later today. we'll be switching the team members every set so that everyone has a turn to play" kurosu begun to explain, the boys all nodding along to show they were listening. most of the boys were familiar with the way in which things were going to run.
they were quick to split themselves evenly, randomly assigning groups so that they could get on with the matches for the day. after all, they were all eager to get started.
the whistle blew as they the first group moved into position, officially starting the day.
[name] wiped sweat from his brow as they finished yet another set. it had been a couple hours since they started and he was beginning to feel the fatigue. he plopped down to the floor, gulping down his water, frowning when his bottle was empty. he sighed, eyeing the door and deciding whether or not it was worth moving.
a hand appeared in his vision as he glanced back up. his eyes meant miya osamu's, the grey haired twin expectantly raising an eyebrow at him. he held his own water bottle in hand, suna rintarou hovering behind him as they waited. he stared at them in confusion, taking the hand offered anyways and allowing himself to be pulled to his feet.
"thanks" he softly uttered, moving towards the door to find a tap to refill his bottle with. the pair followed behind.
"ya read the court really well" osamu begun the conversation after a few seconds of silence. [name] glanced to his side, briefly squinting his eyes to see whether or not the inarizaki player was being genuine.
he hummed softly, acknowledging the statement. "i like to strategise" he shrugged it off, turning left at the door only to be met with suna standing in front of him.
"taps that way" suna pointed in the other direction, a small amused smile tugging on his lips. [name] felt his face heat up in embarrassment, turning around swiftly and speed walking past them. the pair barely restrained their grins, trailing after him.
"hey, heiwa-kun-" suna went to speak only to be cut off by the said boy.
"it's hirabayashi" he corrected automatically, filling up his water bottle now that they reached the tap. osamu and suna shared a look.
"hirabayashi-kun" he shrugged, "are you always this cold?"
"cold?" he glanced up at him, confused. was he referring to his behaviour? or his tone? had he already ruined any chance of the inarizaki team members liking him? or was it just because he didn't like miya astumu's behaviour?
"stiff?" osamu frowned, trying to think of a better word and scratching his head in thought. "stand-offish, maybe?"
[name] felt horrified, it was like middle school all over again! "what? where did you get that idea? are people talking about me?"
"i guess? you're kinda.. scary" suna thought for a moment before deciding on another word that only sent another pang through the boy.
"scary?" he felt himself wither away, soul leaving his body. "is that why people won't approach me?"
osamu snorted, "you're a really good player, most people find that intimidating. just look at atsumu"
"atsumu's a dick, though" suna deadpanned, "nobody wants to approach him 'cause he's rude"
[name] nodded, agreeing "he's mean" he paused for a second, screwing the lid on his bottle tight. "do i come off as mean?"
"i don't think so, just unapproachable" osamu lifted one shoulder in a half-shrug, unbothered. "hey, where d'ya go to middle school?"
"shiratorizawa middle school, why?"
"how come you didn't go there for high school then?" suna laid an arm on [name]'s head, leaning his weight onto the shorter boy. he huffed, sinking a little with the added weight.
"we moved to osaka so i had to change schools" he shrugged as best he could, unaffected by the change now. they moved back inside, ready to start the final match of the day.
"but you trained with top level players, right?" osamu continued his earlier thought, eyes seemingly digging into [name]'s figure. they were analysing despite the calm, light-hearted nature of the conversation. they were open to being friends but right now they knew in the backs of their minds that they would be enemies on court the minute the whistle blew in a competition. they had already felt the effects of it once.
"sure" [name] nodded, blinking slowly in befuddlement. what was the point of that question? he was obviously searching for a specific answer. "and i'm training with top level players now. what difference does it make?"
osamu merely stared at him for a moment longer in a brief silence before he and suna split from his side to head back to their team.
weird. [name] frowned slightly.
"-and then turnip-head was all geh!” hinata’s rambles were always weird, an experience [name] always looked forward to. he always brightened up his day. this time he was going on about his recent practice match with aoba johsai and karasuno's victory over miyagi prefecture's top 4 team.
from his description of the events that had happened, [name] found it easy to assume that most of seijoh's power relied on their setter, oikawa tooru. he hadn't seen much of the male after he graduated middle school but he had heard word of wakatoshi's constant taunts (not that he knew he was taunting or of the effect it had on oikawa).
”i’m a little surprised you won” hinata’s indignant screech made him immediately rethink his wording. “i mean that aoba johsai is one of the best in the miyagi prefecture for a reason. to win in your first match against them.. you did a good job even if it was a practice match”
the line was silent for a moment, a little awkward. hinata breathing quickened slightly through the speaker before he was bursting with energy once again. “anyways! we've got a new player too now, nish-nishi-nishiya i don't know how to say it but he's a libero like you!"
[name] smiled, ready to tease him. "don't move on, i haven't replaced you"
"aH! i'm not replacing you!" hinata whined. "i can't even say his name! besides, you'll always be my first libero and i'm not going to stop until we beat you!"
this time the silence was a quiet acknowledgement of how far the pair had come since they first met. while [name] had always had an obvious talent for the sport, hinata was a little more clumsy. they complimented each other perfectly, hinata with his innate physical abilities and [name] with his technique. they would make a powerful team one day.
but first, they needed to battle it out on court, after all, they had to see who would win.
bonus!!
"we'll need to get karasuno's guardian deity back" daichi hit his fist against his hand, determined look on his face as the team turned to exit aoba johsai again, brushing off the interruption from oikawa. they were proud of their efforts and the win in the practice match but they knew they had an incomplete team just yet.
"guardian deity?" hinata's face lit up, beaming at the sound of the cool name.
"our libero" tanaka grinned, laughing loudly at the thought of nishinoya returning. "his suspension should almost be over by now"
"libero?" the team turned to the orange-haired first year, ready to explain what a libero is until he continued. "the libero always gets a cool name. like heiwa-kun!"
"you know of heiwa-kun?" kageyama was the first to question him, remembering the times he played against [name] not too long ago. they hadn't expected hinata to know of anyone other than the little giant, especially seeing as he did have a wide range of knowledge in the sport, only really interested in being the ace.
"he's my best friend!" hinata grinned proudly, thumb pointing to his chest in a victorious stance. "he goes to a school in osaka now though.."
"your best friend..?" the team stared dumbfounded, minds blanking out as hinata continued on a tangent, admiration for hirabayashi [name] obvious in the way he spoke.
"yeah! we're gonna go to nationals and play him!" while the sentiment was nice, daichi and sugawara couldn't help but sweatdrop, sharing a look. they were not on a national level just yet.
"one day.. i'm gonna beat him!" hinata's eyes narrowed in determination, grin wide with excitement.
one day..

Koushi Sugawara Headcannons
Tumblr media
Bullied!Reader
Being the caring person he is, he noticed changes in your behavior almost immediately after it started.
(For physically bullied reader)
Once he sees the bruises, he can finally confirm his theories about what has been happening, but he doesnt bring it up just yet.
He wastes no time trying to subtly hint to you that he already knows, and if you don’t realise, he probably gets a tad bit annoyed.
Eventually he just confronts you in the hallway or something after classes and just casually asks why you always have so many bruises and are always so down.
If you try to avoid the subject, he tells you that he knows what’s happening, and he wants to know who did it.
If you still deny that anything is happening, he tells you that you don’t have to be scared to tell his because he just wants to help.
Once you finally admit it, he asks you again who it is or what group of people it is. Once you tell him that, he immediately wants to go to tell a teacher.
If you are afraid that the bullying will get worse if you tell a teacher what is happening, Suga just tells you that you have nothing to worry about and that it’ll help to tell an adult.
If you still tell him no, he just sighs and gives in, with a compromise of course. He has to accompany you from class to class to make sure nothing happens to you.
He will then start accompanying you from 1st period to 2nd and 3rd and so forth before he goes to his own classes. He also accompanies you to and from club activities and extracurriculars.
The passive aggressive glares at the person or group of people bullying you are probably a bit of an astronomical number.
(For mentally bullied reader)
He realises how down you’ve been and the changes in your mood. He notices how you are more irritable than usual too.
Eventually, after seeing how you’ve started speaking down about yourself, he connects the dots in his head and is just like kinda wondering if his theory about this is crazy.
He tries to get more evidence to support his theory (just to feel better about asking you about it.)
Eventually he just mans up and asks you about it.
You tell him about it a little and he immediately asks you who has been belittling you and insulting you.
You tell him and he is fucking pissed, but it’s his usual ‘stay calm’ type of mad.
He probably tries to tell you that none of what they’re saying about you is true and that you’re a beautiful/handsome person. He showers you with affection to try to make you feel better about yourself.
A few days later he checks back in and asks if it has gotten any better. When you say no he goes through the compliments and telling you that their belittling isn’t true again before going straight towards a teacher or the counselor.
If you try to hold him back he just looks at you weird.
When you tell him you’re afraid they’ll belittle you for telling on them he does stop since that is a reasonable concern, but then just goes right back to what he was going to do.
He tells the teacher or counselor he was walking towards and afterwards assures you that he won’t let the belittling happen again if they try to insult you because they got in trouble.
Gn!reader
(Just cute generic headcannons now. The whole thing is Gn!reader but i don’t know what to title this so-)
If you’re in the volleyball club, he helps you with practice alot.
If you’re a middle blocker he tries to spike the ball fro you to block and dig as well as does serves for you to get.
If you’re a wingspiker, he sets the ball up for you as much as you like and helps you with serve recieve stuff if you’re a more defense centered player.
If you’re a setter, he teaches you a bunch of cool sets and may hit a few of yours if you want.
If you’re a libero, he will try to spike for you, serve for you to get, set up balls for Asahi so you can try to receive his hits and overall just does a bunch of defense things to help you get better at whatever you want to get better at.
If you’re a pinch server, he tries to get your serves to help you with accuracy and/or power on your serves.
Trans!reader
Assures you that your gender is valid and that you should never have to feel bad for it.
Oh gods, if you’re purposely misgendered, he will not hesitate to passive aggressively say “Um, actually Y/n’s pronouns are (insert pronouns here)”
He feels bad whenever you have dysphoria because he knows how much it must suck but can’t truly empathize because he’s never been through it. Suga just wants you to be happy and it hurts his heart to see you in pain over something you can’t even control.
Has tons of ways to distract you from your dysphoria. He will buy you food, he will give you hugs if you want them, he will lend you his clothes (if you’re a trans guy. If you’re a trans woman, he will not hesitate to buy you makeup or clothes if you can’t afford it for whatever reason or have transphobic parents <3) he will do anything to make you feel better.
First date headcannons
Suga feels like the type who would be really basic for a first date. He would take you to a nice cafe and then you’d go fro a walk in the park or something afterwards.
It’s still cute as fuck though cause he would add his own personal twist to it.

The "New" King of the Court
Kageyama Tobio (Haikyu) x Reader (GN)
**Based on Season 4 episode 7 **Genre: Fluff (?) **Word Count: 591 **Key: Talking You , Kageyama
Tobio “King of the Court” Kageyama was your boyfriend. Now he wasn’t the greatest with emotions or words, but you knew that. I mean you two had been friends since middle school. You were the only person to stick with him through his whole “king of the court” faze. While his teammates abandoned him you stayed by his side. You could see that wasn’t the real Tobio, there was more to the story. He wasn’t a cruel dictator he was just struggling and didn’t know how to express it. Staying through all of that made you two very close and you, not long after starting high school you began dating. Now you didn’t go to Karasuno. You like most students from Kitagawa First ended up at Aoba Johsai but that didn’t matter. You kept in touch and came to Thwatch him play as often as you could. Today was a free day for you and you knew Karasuno had a practice match with Date Tech so of course you were going to go and support him (as well as your newfound friends on the team). You planned to ask him to go get milk and pork buns after so you could hear everything about the youth intensive. Little did anyone know that today everyone would see the return of the king. You could see Kageyama was stressed during the match and he finally snapped. He blamed his teammates and acted like he did back in middle school. Right after the words came out of his mouth you saw it on his face. He regretted it. Without thinking you rush over and hug him not caring that they were in the middle of a match. Your boyfriend was struggling and needed you. He stood there shocked for a moment before hugging back. You whisper to him about how amazing he is and how you love him and were here for him. As you broke the hug you told him you two would talk after the match. Something was bothering him and you knew it. You then apologized to everyone, and they each said their part about the incident. Hinata having a positive attitude really helped everyone including Kageyama recover from the little slip up and the match continued. After it was over you pulled Kageyama to the side and asked him what was wrong. He told you how Atsumu had called him a good to shoes and it really got under his skin. You made a mental note to give this Atsumu a piece of your mind when you met him. After that you two got milk and pork buns and he told you about the rest of the intensive, you were happy to hear he made friends, but you could tell something was still heavy on his mind. “Tobio talk to me. Something is still bothering you. What is is?” Kageyama stayed silent. “Is it that Hinata called you the new king of the court?” “Yes.” “Listen, I know you hate that nickname but it’s not a bad thing anymore. The new king of the court is the best on the court, the best setter, and the best boyfriend. NOT that tyrant that your ex-teammates named. You are taking back the name and making it good.” “Thank you… for everything. For sticking with me… for loving me… I don’t know where I would be without you.” “I love you too Tobio, my king of the court.” After that you finished eating and he walked you home like the gentleman he is.

yandere kei tsukishima headcanon
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
->warnings: yandere stuff such as kidnapping, manipulation, maybe ooc, manga spoiler!
->a/n:first post! let’s do it~ hope you guys enjoy!
Tumblr media
-> i’ve many people says that he is a sadistic person who likes to humiliate his loved one, but I personally think he would date see his darling in pain and would do anything to make them comfortable
-> and he even could act cold but never hurt them physically or mentally, of course he will manipulate them into dating him
-> he will sweet words to them, saying how gorgeous and it’s true! They are the most beautiful and perfect person he ever saw in his life, but he can’t let other see that, right?
-> kei knows how to use words to protect his innocent darling, how their friends are only tying to get close because he is a famous volleyball player or are only use them for personal reasons
-> and darling believes him, and slowly they will be only close to their family ( kei can’t let their family have a bad side of him ) and his family, controlling their social circle
->but doesn’t mean he will control every aspect os their life, people would suspect his actions, he let them have jobs (only if isn’t damaging their health), how they dress themself (even wearing matching outfits!), having hobbies and much more!
->and kidnapping? He couldn’t do that! Kei just asked one day if would be better if both of them live together, like a couple! And darling agree, without suspect his yandere tendencies
-> in a scale of one to ten, I can see him as a six, a little higher but not dangerous enough to go extreme not even if darling refuses him, he would probably blackmail them or isolate them from everyone, so don’t reject them :)

Weak Immune System (Karasuno Volleyball Club/ MALE!Reader) Part I
This is originally written for my AO3, figured I'd post it here as well just for the heck of it. All of this to say, this is not good lol
You couldn't wait to get back to practicing with your friends, after spending the first week of school stuck at home, sick with the rest of your family. You were a second year at Karasuno high, and you'd been playing volleyball since you could walk. Most people would say you were an excellent player, but you'd put yourself more as a decent all-rounder.
Your classmate, Tanaka has been going on about these crazy good first years ever since school started, texting you videos of the four first years in action, he even caught the famous "freak quick" in action, and it had your blood racing with anticipation of what the team could do with so much raw talent.
Morning practice had never been your favorite, but Tanaka had insisted on dragging your butt out of bed early, some might even say too early. You weren't expecting anyone to be there, just under an hour before the practice was meant to start, but sure enough, there were your upperclassmen, setting up the net, already in gym clothes.
"Yo! Look who's back!" Tanaka called, proudly clapping you on the back, grinning "Mr. Weak-immune-system here!"
"Would you stop calling me that?" you huffed "I get Scarlet-fever one time!"
"(Y/N)? You're back!" Sugawara cried, jogging up enthusiastically. You knew to brace before he started his round of playfully punching your gut, Suga's usual greeting "It's about time!"
You playfully punched him back, striking his shoulder with just enough force to smart "you don't need me anymore, remember? Got yourselves two tall-ass first years to play with!"
Daichi smiled, patting you gently on the shoulder "it's good to have you back, we missed you against Seijouh."
"You won, Cap! Hardly seems like you needed lil' old me!"
Daichi's face turned sour "you didn't see Oikawa's monster serve. If we're going to stand a chance then we need a stronger defense, that starts with you, and ends with Nishinoya."
"Is he still not back?" you wondered, a frown falling on your face "damned idiot still lovestruck over Asahi?"
"Yeah, I guess so, now that you're here though I bet we can get his ass back on a court!" Tanaka declared "c'mon, let's get changed so you can show those creeps how a real man serves!"
Tanaka hauled you off to the club room before you could argue, leaving the two third-years grinning, glad that things hadn't changed. At first glance, some people might not think much of you, sure you were tall, and you took good care of yourself, but off the court, you weren't really intimidating. They knew the first years wouldn't know what hit them.
You came back dressed for practice and helped everyone set up, catching up with the gossip. The rest of the second-years arrived, closely followed by the first years who quickly spotted the new face.
You knew the blonde was taller than you, but you weren't used to being looked down on by anyone, being over six-foot had its perks after all. Still, you smiled and casually waved a greeting while you were stretching your legs out on the floor "mornin'!"
"Who are you?" the tall blonde sneered at you.
"Watch your damn mouth first-year!" Tanaka yelled from across the court "he'll kick your ass!"
"Not from down there he won't." the boy chuckled.
You shrugged, your build hadn't hinted at your height then, good. It wouldn't hurt to mess with him a little, not when he looked oh so smug and the other first years were watching. "Tsukishima, right? Ryu said you were salty but damn, you start early."
As you spoke, you gathered to your feet, taking your sweet time stretching to your full height, which was in fact, exactly as tall as he was. There was a flash of surprise in his eyes, and you smirked.
"Name's (Y/N), I'm in 2-5. Been sick all week, sorry I missed the action now."
"Woah! You're really tall!" Tangerine declared.
"Hi, Hinata right? That makes you Kageyama and you're Yamaguchi, yeah?"
"How do you know our names?" Kageyama wondered.
"Kiyoko recorded some of your plays for me, and I'm a people person," you gave them your sweetest smile, you wanted them to underestimate how ruthless you could be on the court, you loved when people just assumed you were a gentle giant, like Asahi.
"So you saw the quick attack?! Like whoosh! Bang!"
"Cool sound effects, and yes." you smiled at the puppy-like enthusiasm "you're a little ball of energy huh?"
Hinata flushed but was spared from responding, thanks to Daichi's call to start warming up together. They still didn't have a coach, but they were used to that by now, running through the drills they knew and correcting each other's forms where necessary.
The first years were a technical disaster, not to mention constantly at each other's throats (no thanks to Tsukishima's active poking), and it made you wonder how Daichi got them to behave themselves long enough to play ball.
"Dude! You're up to serve!" Tanaka yelled, yanking you out of your pensive thoughts by tossing you a ball.
The team was running serve/receive drills now, you'd already done a few receives, nothing special but it got your blood moving just enough for you to attempt the jump-serve.
A week at home hadn't stopped you from doing light workouts, or you'd have gone mad in your room with your little brother, so you were confident as you walked behind the line, measured your steps out of habit, and got into position.
On the other side of the net were Hinata and Tsukishima, neither of which would receive worth a damn, so you decided to have some fun.
You set up the service, hearing the surprise in the room when you jumped. You were already tall, and your jump technique had taken you literal years to perfect. The first swing wasn't as hard as you could hit it, you didn't want to strain yourself, so you aimed right between the two first years.
Hinata dove for the ball, completely off balance, and sent it flying into the wall, while Tsukishima almost stepped on him.
"Hell YEAH!" you and Tanaka yelled, performing your traditional celebratory chest bump, you'd been practicing that since middle school too. Many a bloody nose had once followed a good serve.
"Nice serve (Y/N)!"
You bowed theatrically "thank you, thank you!"
"Do that again!"
You looked up to meet a pair of wide, amber eyes, staring at you with an intensity that was almost terrifying, unblinking, and determined.
"Tanaka, this kid scares me," you muttered as he passed you another ball "is he always like this?"
Tanaka shrugged beside you "only when he really wants to beat someone...good luck with that."
"Thanks, real helpful dude."

|𝙃𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙖 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙮𝙤| |𝙢𝙖𝙡𝙚|
(Making up a match here 😐)
It was 24-22, Karasuno in the lead, Nekoma closing the distance slowly. The 'monster duo' had been testing Nekoma with quick attacks, and almost perfectly receiving, Nishinoya and Yaku were having a silent battle of who could return the most balls. Bothing thinking it was one-sided.
The match was for fun but a few people came to watch (is this even allowed) because the game wasn't held in a private gym (really making a way for you ig) and any passerby could slip in.
At Nekoma's match point, Kageyama set a ball across the court as Hinata ran up to the net preparing to spike, but landed to the ground as the ball sailed past him to Tanaka, who scored their winning point.
The game hadn't lasted very long, Hinata's decoy had caught a few people of guard which ended in Karasuno's favor.
The crows cheered for vicotry, while Hinata suddenly turned to wave towards a boy who both teams noticed to look around their age.
Sugawara saw this and nudged Daichi,
"Have you seen him before?"
"Hinata must know him from somewhere- what are you doing...?"
Daichi turned to Kuroo staring at you then throwing his hands up.
"Am I the only person who sees this as a recruitment opportunity? He came to watch us, right?"
Yaku walked by and handed Kuroo a towel, "Yeah, kinda losing faith in Lev..."
"Don't bother strangers, Kuro."
"He's leaving anyway, or I think he is, what door is that?"
-Cut to Lev sulking in the corner growing mushrooms-
Daichi looked towards the door you left through, which leads to the court...? (I have no clue what I'm doing)
And in full glory, resting bitch face and no shits to give, you walked onto the court and yelled,
"Shoyo!! Spike!"
"Shoyo? That's Hinata, right?"
He was all the way on the other side of the gym room but heard you fully, breaking into a run towards you.
"(m/n)! Receive!"
You held your arms out with an indifferent expression as Hinata came crashing into you.
Hinata's busy-ass schedule interfered with the time you two had together, and you hadn't seen each other in awhile.
You two were enjoying the presence of the other, being all wholesome and "I missed you" "I missed you too" until Daichi had to interrupt shi- Asked Hinata who you were.
Everyone else in the gym was like "Bruh"
"Oh, Daichi! This is my boyfriend, (l/n) (m/n)."
"Heya, I'm the boyfriend."
Nekoma had already left the gym, since Karasuno was held up bc of you (Oh, wow, really 🙄)
Noya and Tanaka ran up to y'all so fast, firing questions about how you and Hinata ended up.
Noya grabbed Hinata by the shoulders which had you s h o o k-
"Hinata how long have you been hiding this from us! I feel betrayed!"
'I can't tell what he's referring to...'
You grabbed Hinata's hand and glared at the libero, a signal to let him go, which he got quickly.
Noya then walked over to Tanaka dejectedly. How could their kouhai, who was supposed to look up to them for advice, have gotten into a relationship before them?!
The calmer members of the team introduced themselves to you, as well as two girls you learned were Yachi and Kiyoko, their managers.
After all that you and Hinata stood off to the side in convorsation.
"(m/n)!" Sunshine looked into your eyes and- "Did you see me out there? What'd you think?!"
"You were freakin' awesome, Sho."
"Hell yeah!"
One of the third years you recently met, Sugawara, came up to you both.
"Hinata, Noya made a bet with Daichi and now he's paying for food, do you and (m/n) wanna come?"
"Thanks, senpai! But we have to get going."
Your eyes widened, "We do?..."
"Mhm, I've wanted to take you out! And now that you're here, don't even think about paying."
He kissed your cheek and left you slightly flustered as he quickly gathered his things. You tended to argue about who paid for stuff sometimes, and Hinata liked to get the jump on you.
(In a super civilized way and not you and Hinata agressively complementing each other type of way. Of course not.)
He jogged over to you clearly excited as put his arm around you and led you to the exit of the gym, saying goodbye to Karasuno.
Your voices faded as you left the gym, the conversation going something like this,
"So, where do you wanna go?"
"Wait- you didn't decide already?"
"I just wanna spend time with you, (m/n), so we can go wherever, as long as..."
