First Kiss Headcannon Pt. 1:

Tw: None, basic fluff for now.

Characters: (Gender Neutral) Reader x Tobio Kageyama

Tobio Kageyama:

Poor guy. Being socially awkward is hard.

Once he decides he wants to kiss you, he will dedicate.

He kissed before like in 3rd grade when girls would peck him on the cheek.

He most likely stayed up late at night watching “How To Kiss” videos.

If you think he didn’t practice on his volleyball at least once, you’re wrong.

He thinks he has the whole kissing this down now. Key word is think.

He’s probably very confident up until the moment it happens.

He uses too much force at first and you guys end up bruising both of your faces.

He apologizes a lot afterwards

“Tobio, you’re pretty quiet today,” You say, enjoying the warm afternoon breeze.

“Mh-hm...” comes his response.

“Something on your mind?”

“Mh-hm...”

“... Want to tell me what it is...?”

“Mm...”

“Are you even listening to what I’m saying?”

No. No he was not.

In fact he was freaking out inside because his mind was going a thousand miles per minute. For the past ten minutes he’s been planning out every outcome of what would happen when he kissed you. Would you reject him? Would you yell? Would you like it? Could he do it again?? Yet thanks to his neutral face, you were in the shadows, left to ponder what had him acting so weird.

“Are you... angry with me?” You ask quietly, eyes scanning his face carefully.

His blue eyes widen slightly as he jerks his attention over to you, “What? Of course not. Why would you think that?”

“It’s just...” You sigh, looking away for a moment, “you’ve been really quiet and you haven’t really answered my questions... I was just wondering if you were a—!”

You weren’t able to finish the sentence as you were met with a very close Kageyama once you turned back in his direction, but that wasn’t the most shocking thing. No, the most shocking thing was when a blunt pain exploded on your mouth when his lips met yours in a painful collision causing you to yelp and jerk away, hand instantly going to touch your swollen lips.

“Oh—! A-are you okay..?!” Kageyama asked hurriedly, hesitantly reaching out as if you touch you but his hands retreated just as fast. He was afraid he hurt you— well, hurt you again. He couldn’t stop the embarrassed blush that crept across his face. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to hurt you, I was just...! I just wanted to kiss you and... and uh...” He was at a loss for words, his tongue felt thick and useless in his mouth.

“That was suppose to be a kiss? You sure you weren’t trying to bite me?” You asked with a small chuckle. Kageyama just looked down at the floor sheepishly, an awkward silence growing between you with each passing second.

Finally he mumbled, “I... I got... nervous...”

You chuckle and scoot a little closer to him. You didn’t move until he looked up and met your gaze, his cheeks still burning. You leaned forward, closing your eyes as you gently kissed his flustered lips. You could feel his breath immediately stop and his posture tense up. He rapidly blinked a few times. You were kissing him. You were kissing him. What was he suppose to do??? All his hours of YouTube studying went out the window as he tried to recall something— anything— that would help him in this moment. He settled for gently intertwining his fingers with yours as your hand brushed against his trembling knuckles.

For a few blissful moments you two stayed like that until you pulled away, leaving the King of the Court with a pouty look on his face. You took a couple seconds to appreciate how cute it was, giving his hand a small squeeze. “It’s okay. I wanted to kiss you too,” You chuckle warmly, drawing a bashful smile from Kageyama.

Yet this moment ended as Tanaka popped around the corner and shouted something about getting back to practice. You both frowned, but Kageyama signed and brought your knuckles up to his hand, giving it a quick kiss before letting go and standing up.

“We’ll talk some more later, okay? Come find me after practice,” He said, rubbing the back of his neck before flashing you a small grin. Then off he went to yell at Tanaka for spoiling the moment.

And you were left alone with throbbing lips and a flutter in your stomach.

King!Kageyama x F!Reader

You walked along the busy streets. People were talking loudly, laughing every so often. The crowded streets had always been like this, so active and full of people, joy. Little kids would run around chasing one another while enjoying their childhood. A thud would be heard as you looked down, in front of your sight was a child which bumped into you, now sitting on the ground, rubbing her head, her face all scrunched up due to possibly hitting her head on the ground. You smiled softly, kneeling down.

“ Hey there, are you ok ? '' You asked, shufflng the little girl's hair gently, as she shifted his gaze to you, you realized she was at the verge of tears. Quickly, you looked in your ratten basket. The curious girl followed your hand as it slowly pulled out a small bouquet of daisies. You handed it to the small girl with a bright smile. '' T-thank you! It's so pretty, miss ! ”Said the little girl, who gladly stopped crying. '' Did you know that daisies symbolize innocence and purity? This stems from an old Celtic legend. According to the legend, whenever an infant died, God sprinkled daisies over the earth to cheer the parents up. In Norse mythology, the daisy is Freya ' s sacred flower. '' A group of kids gasped in admiration as you chuckled. “ Now be careful, you don't want to get caught by the Boogie man, don't you? ”You cheeckily chuckled a the little girl ran to her group of friends, waving her little hands towards you. It warms your heart to see everyone happy, you didn't wish everyone to suffer what you'd been through. You slowly stood up, waving your hand back at the child. And with that, you continued moving through the busy crowds to your home's warmth.

“ Y / N you're home!” Your little brother ran towards you, clinging onto you as soon as he could reach your hands. He pressed his little face into your dress as he clung tight. You laughed softly, patting him on the head. “ Now, now, Henry, I need to look through the mails. ”You said, eyeing several envelopes on the wooden table. Henry pouted, not letting whatsoever. “ C'mon .. the letters won't open itself .” You kneeled down, pressing your forehead to his. “ Father wouldn't be proud seeing you whiny? Right? ”The boy panicked, releasing you. “ Please don't tell him! ”He cried out. You picked him up, putting him on the sofa. “Wait here, sissy will play with you later, does that sound good to you? ”You smiled at your brother, who was excited at your statement. “ Really? '' ' Really. Now, I need to do some work, alright? ”Henry nodded, smilling in excitement.

You walked to the wooden table, picking up the mails and looked through it. But the one that caught your eye, was an evelope with a dark red stamp on it, you opened the mail, only to be greeted by an invation to the castle. It was stated in the letter that the King was ill, and the Royalty had heard about a famous medical herbalist whose herbs are strongly effective, you . You were shocked, it had been years since anyone had entered the castle. The King was said to had isolated himself from the civilization after his wife's death. And as you had promised to your parents, you would help everyone even though it means sacrificing yourself. “ What was his name again ...? Ah, right, Kageyama Tobio.”You mumbled to yourself, before focusing your gaze back at the letter. To your surprise, the Royalty insisted you to come to the castle tomorrow, there would be guards and a carriage to pick you up tomorrow morning. There would be prizes as well, if the King is cured, you will be rewarded with as much gold as you'd like and be a royalty medical herbalist. It took a while to digest all of the amount of information, you snapped back to reality when Henry pulled your dress, worriedly looking at you. You didn't know what to feel, it was a mix of different emotions, happiness, confusement, Sadness, ... You would be leaving your brother and everyone here for a while and that did quite bother you.

You took a deep breath before smilling back at your brother. “ Henry ... I want you to meet someone. ”You said, holding his little hands. You lead Henry to a small, but cute house and knocked on the wooden door. “ Hello? Mrs Heidi? ” You called out, resulted in being greeted by a lady, whom was your old Nanny. “ Henry, meet your new nanny ... Sissy is going out for a while, so be nice with her, hm? ”You smiled at your brother softly, knowing he had been good so far and he'd listen. Henry eyed you with sadness. “ You're going again? But you've just been home from Bournemouth! ”He whined, giving you the puppy eyes,“ Now, now, I need to keep father and mother's promise, alright? As you should be doing that as well. ”You said, pinching his cheeks gently, which he pouted in return, but listened anyways. “ Hello mrs Heidi .. ” Henry mumbled, shyly glanced at the old lovely lady in front of you. “ Hello Henry, Y / N, so you've recieved the mail. ”She said, smilling at you. You smilled back in return, explaining everything to the nanny.

In the morning, you packed all of your stuff. Ready to leave, in front of you was a golden carriage, you hesitantly stepped onto it, nervously eyed the surrounding.

You were escourted into the castle with flowers decorated everywhere with paintings that could worth your whole year of working. The guards stopped in front of a big door. “ The King is inside. ”One of the guards say, opening the door only to reveal the form of a man sitting quietly on his bed. You slowly stepped in as the door slowly closed. “ Y-your Majesty ..” You nervously greeted, bowing towards the King. He eyed at you. “ You don't have to do that. ”His voice was deep, attractive. You eyed him, feeling the cold sweat. He patted the empty space of his bed and you walked towards him, cautiously. “ Sit down. ”He ordered. You nervously gulped, slowly sitting down to the firm bed. “I'll only say this once. So listen up, Y / N. ”You jolted. “Y-yes your majesty!” You stuttered. “ I love you. ”What ...? Ok, but is this a dream? Did the Kng really just confessed to you, a normal, ordinary Herbalist? You shook your head in denial. “W-what? Your majesty, you must be sick! ”You panicked at his intense gaze on you. “ Call me Tobio.” He held your hand gently with his rough, beautiful hands. You were confused. “ W-what ?” “Darling, you've caught my eye the ever first time I saw you. I've been sneaking out of the castle since I've heard about you, a beautiful, gentle woman, who has saved many lives. At first I thought this feeling was just neutral but as time grew, I watched you, treating everyone nicely, yout voice is as soothing as a songbird, your hands are so soft and small. Do you remember, that one time you met me in the forest? I was wearing a golden mask and a red cloak. We talked, and met several times but you just disappear one day. Then I found out that you've moved away from the forest so you couldn't meet me any longer, I was so desperated, until I found out that you were just around here. I was so happy, and my heart was filled with joy. Do you feel the same way?”You were slightly taken back, but yes, you knew there was something familiar about his voice. And the story about you meeting up with the mysterious man in the forest was a secret, it was unbelieveable but you calmed down. “ What about your wife? ”You managed to ask before your eyes got watery. “ We've faked her death. She's still alive, you may ask why I did that? It was because she wanted to be free, we were forced to get married, non of us agreed to it. So we made an angreement, She wanted to be free, so do I. And that created the plan to fake her death, and I could use her death as an excuse to lock myself in without suspecting anyone. So we suceeded in it, and I sneaked out without anyone suspecting me, then I met you. ”It was so much to take in, you panicked, you thought you couldn't see the man in the forest anymore after you've moved away along with the amount of work you had, and possibly, you could have already developed feelings for the mysterious man as well. And there he was, in front of you, smilling at you dearly ...

Random Kuroo Headcanons

Just a little random series we’re deciding to do of some of our favorite Haikyuu characters!

gender neutral reader

- Kuroo rubs his thumb across your cheek while you guys cuddle, it’s mostly to calm his own nerves but he also likes the feeling of skin in skin contact

- He doesn’t mind taking the lead in the relationship because he’s used to it, but if you ever plan anything for him or take the lead he’ll be putty in your hands

- PLEASE rub his back or play with his hair, he’ll quickly go to sleep if you do that

- Whenever he drives he has to have at least one hand on you, its either holding your hand or resting on your thigh if you’re comfortable with that

- He helps you with your homework and if you’re stressed he’ll even write the answers down for you to copy so you won’t get caught cheating

- If you feel bad he’ll just tell you you're in debt and your payment is cuddles or dates (that he pays for)

- If you surprise him with some of his favorite food or even items he’ll pull you into a big hug and thank you

- If you two shower together he’ll help wash your back, but if you turn around or move away from him he’ll whine and pull you closer

- He unashamedly dances to the Bill Nye theme song, he will make you dance to it even if he has to grab your arms like a puppet and move them

- If anyone makes you uncomfortable his shit eating grin is gone. He’s glaring at that person and purposely making himself bigger than them to intimidate them.

- He’ll combust on the spot if you wear any of his volleyball clothes, he’s taking so many pictures

- His lock screen in his phone is your guys pinkies intertwined. He likes the simplicity and if you want to keep your relationship private for any reason it gives it more value to him

- But his background after unlocking the phone is you two making silly faces

- Kuroo loves taking candid photos of you, when he’s away for volleyball games or if you’re out he loves scrolling through them

- If you come to his volleyball games he’ll be a little flustered until he gets on the court

- He’ll wink at you everytime he scores a point

- He sends you pictures of either his whole face at unflattering angles or just half of his face when he’s taking a shit

- He will FaceTime you while peeing and will not mute his mic, his conversation is way too important to be cut out

- Sometimes he’ll invite Kenma out with you guys just to get him out, but Kenma gets grossed out and makes fun of Kuroo for trying to achieve his hopeless romantic dreams
