Something about fictional couples who part ways, not having seen eachother or heard from one another in months or years, not even sure whether they'll see the other person again or when, simply hits different for me. You can see both of them thinking about each other every day, missing the other or being reminded of their time together by small things, and—

Dynamic Duos in the Chaos Rounds
The qualifications for this was basically do they have any notable relationship. Because of this we have some familial and platonic ones as well as romantic ones. Polls will be up in the next couple of hours probably. Sorry for the delay on the main showdown, but at least we have something to entertain us until we can get the main showdown up. The winners from this will go up against the other winners in the Chaos Rounds. If you see the images and are like these are shit: tough luck, unless you want to give us better ones we’re not doing anything about it.

Open Heart Appreciation Post (4/7)
Day 4 - Thursday, March 23: Relationship Meter
Tell us about relationships--platonic, romantic, or otherwise--in your OH fanficverse.
1. MC-Ethan: Started out with a professional attending-resident relationship. As time passed, the two gradually grew closer and ended up having a romantic relationship.
2. MC-Sienna: Began as a platonic relationship, still strong as ever.
3. MC-Bryce: Began as a platonic love relationship with casual dating, gave rise to a platonic one.
4. MC-Keiki: A strong platonic relationship.
5. MC-Jackie: Started as a co-worker relationship, grew to a platonic one.
6. MC-Elijah: Platonic relationship since pretty much the beginning.
7. MC-Landry: Started as friends, ended as enemies.
8. MC-Naveen: A teacher-student-friend sort of relationship.
9. MC-June: A strictly professional relationship.
10. MC-Tobias: Started as a professional relationship, ended up being friends.
11. MC-Louise: A sort of acquainted relationship.
12. MC-Alan: A friendly relationship.
13. MC-Ines: Resident-intern relationship converted to platonic relationship.
14. MC-Baz: Platonic relationship.
15. MC-Zaid: Professional relationship turned platonic.
16. MC-Aurora: Began as rivals, eventually became true friends.
17. MC-Harper: Professional relationship turned platonic.
18. MC-Rafael: They had a firmly platonic relationship.
19. MC-OC: Jasmine (OC) was Catherine's best friend from school. They were the 'enemies turned best friends' type. Both girls had been equally sincere and hardworking, both aiming for the top spot, which gave rise to their rivalry. But their rivalry helped them become a better version of themselves, instead of turning them toxic.
20. MC-Annie: A friendly relationship.
21. MC-OC: Utkarsh (OC) was Catherine's ex from AIIMS. Both had dated for about a year before making the mutual decision of being just friends.
22. MC-OC: Julian (OC) was Catherine's ex from Hopkins. He had been a sweet boyfriend, but had eventually turned toxic and tried to ruin her life. They were lovers turned enemies.
23. MC-OC: Caleb (OC) was Catherine's ex from Hopkins. They had started casual dating, but he eventually broke things off with her when he decided to change majors. They aren't in contact any more.
24. MC-Esme: They had a friendly teacher-student relationship and were always there to help each other out.
25. MC-Danny: They had been great friends since the beginning, with Danny informing Catherine about Ramsey's strict reputation.
26. MC-Bobby: Catherine had had a professional-platonic relationship with Bobby.
27. MC-Marlene: Marlene was the 'mother' of the nurses. She and Catherine shared a lot in common and had a good friendly relationship.
28. MC-Kyra: Catherine and Kyra kept in touch after Kyra left Edenbrook. They often engaged in harmless flirting and remained concrete friends.
29. MC-OC: Eliana (OC) was Ethan's cousin. They got along like a house on fire and had an unbreakable bond. A firm platonic relationship.
30. MC-OC: Sandra (OC) was Ethan's ex who worked in Kenmore. They had been a little stiff at first but had gradually become good friends.

In addition to « Le Fantôme de l'Opéra », are there other shows Julian is particularly fond of? Any preference for new versus old theatre, traditional or inventive stories?
Ah! Unfortunately, I must admit I know... absolutely jack shit about theatre. Like nothing. Despite my desire to join in high school, I was... a bit of an outcast, and my requests were more ignored than denied. Though this goes without saying. What do you expect from someone who's been using Tumblr since 2011?
I digress! 😅 I can say Julian does enjoy "modern" and abstract new and retold stories. He's fond of pushing the boundaries of what one can call art and specifically in this case theatre. Think of stories that make you mad, ones that are risque, ones that tell the mystery of death. He enjoys a meaty plot that he can sink his teeth into.
(But also.. me loving Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet: Julian would love Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet!)

What horny are you?
Do you think about her so often, it's disgusting? Or hate every inch of him but still wanna blow him? Or See her in a dress that clung to her body like a second skin and wonder 'why did the universe hate you'? Or hate him because you hate what the sight of him does to you? Or was there a wildness in you, of hope and terror, when he said his mother cannot see you?

🎀, 💋, and 💌 for the writing asks?
🎀 give yourself a compliment about your own writing Oh, I think I’m pretty funny and I really enjoy running very far with my headcanon-y thoughts. I end up with stuff like old Jaskier and himbo husband Geralt (paging @littlestsnicket):
“Why if isn’t it the Professor and the valet of the wilting flower,” Basil crowed from a second-floor window that housed several administrative offices for the town’s guild. He leaned so far out the window that his glasses nearly fell off his face but he caught them at the last moment.
“Baz, how are those hemorrhoids treating you?” Jaskier called up to him.
“They make me feel more than your music does,” Basil said and Jaskier offered him a rude gesture, turning his back and resumed picking through the apples on the cart.
“No respect for their elders,” Jaskier sighed.
“And you,” Basil said, leaning an elbow on the sill, pushing his glasses up his nose when he peered down at Geralt. “Are you in need of work or are you still looking after this ol’ fop?”
“Took a contract today, in fact,” Geralt said dully, and Basil snorted.
“Doing what, carrying his groceries? Seems like a waste of your skills. If you want a real job there’s something nasty outside Aldersburg that’s trashed several of our shipments in the last month,” Basil said.
“I’ll check back when I can, Basil,” Geralt said, and pointedly stepped close, opening Jaskier's bag. The old bard smiled as he dumped the fruit inside, and Basil scoffed, disappearing from the window.
💋when you leave comments on a fic, do you want to hear back from the writer? Oohhh, I originally got reallllly rambly about this, 'cause I love comments and commenting. It boils down to this. I 100000% love when authors respond. I don't need it, and I don't expect it, but I love the conversation a lot. ❤️
💌share something with us about an up-and-coming work (WIP) that has you excited!
Oh, here’s a snippet from the next puppetskier chapter. This is where Jaskier meets the small Eternal Fire acolyte for a second time.
“I’m Cory. This is Julian,” Cory said, dropping a hand in Jaskier’s hair. Karsten looked up at them and Jaskier reached out to shake the child's hand.
“You’re Karsten, right?” Jaskier asked.
Karsten nodded, and he didn’t smile, but he reached for Jaskier's hand that was small even in Karsten's grip. “I met a professor named Julian once. He was taller than you.”
“I’m one and the same. Currently having a short day,” Jaskier said and winked.
“What does that mean?” Karsten asked.
“I would love to tell you the story but it’ll have to wait for another time. You don’t want to keep Brother Arbald waiting,” Jaskier said.

A father and his two sons run terrified through the kitchen towards their safe room as shots are fired on the streets outside.Awoken in nothing but their underwear, the family hurry for safety as Hamas terrorists enter their home in the hunt for Israelis to kill. The father picks up his youngest child and runs with him in his arms as he motions frantically for the older boy to go on ahead, down the stairs to the bunker in the garden. As they get to the staircase, he pushes the boys down to make them go faster. In home-installed CCTV footage screened by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Monday, among a tranche of unedited and previously unreleased clips and audio, the horrors of what followed can be seen for the first time. The Hamas terrorists casually lob a grenade down the stairs, and the explosion flings the father’s body back up the stairs. In his last moments, he had saved his children’s lives.Israeli soldiers stand by the covered body of a Hamas militant in Kibbutz Be'eri - Baz RatnerThe boys emerge screaming out of the darkness, before running back into the house.“I’m not joking, this is not a prank,” the older boy, who looks around 12, tells his little brother from inside their kitchen. “Dad is dead.”The Israeli government invited a group of journalists to the 43-minute screening as it wanted the world to see the extent of Hamas’ atrocities – and to counter what spokesman Eylon Levy called a “Holocaust-denial like phenomenon unfolding in real time”.The film was for “journalists who can stomach the horrific truth.”Indeed, it was appalling beyond measure. Within minutes, some of the audience had left the auditorium in tears. There are images in it that I will never be able to forget. I felt sick throughout. And at points my own tears blurred my vision. In one clip, which is carefully pieced together through both dashcam and terrorists’ GoPro footage, Hamas fighters walk down a main road pointing their assault rifles as a small silver car drives towards them.Initially, one of the gunmen waves at the car to stop, before immediately opening fire from just feet away. The car speeds forward as more terrorists unload their weapons. Its windscreen shatters. Then the footage cuts to the bullet-ridden vehicle surrounded by Hamas gunmen, with its two passengers slumped dead in their seats. The full film, Israel says, will not be released to the public until all of the families featured within it view the film and give their permission. The government declined to share the fate of the boys whose father was killed outside their bomb shelter as they addressed the press following the screening at Glilot Military Base on Monday.Major General Michael Edelstein, wearing a machinegun slung over his shoulder, answers questions from the press after the film presentation of the Hamas massacre - JULIAN SIMMONDSThey are seen in the CCTV footage shaking with fear as the terrorist who had just killed their father rifles through their fridge, swigging from a bottle of Coke.“I want my mum!” the little one screams. The boys are left trying to comfort each other after the terrorist leaves the kitchen. One says that he cannot see out of his eye. The other’s shoulder is badly wounded.“I think we are going to die,” says one.[embed]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bkk7IbaYw10[/embed]At the press conference before the screening, Mr Levy said it was vital to put out the footage as people were “casting doubt on the magnitude of the atrocities that Hamas committed against our people.”Certainly, the footage compiled from dash-cams, home CCTV, traffic control, and body-mounted cameras used by the terrorists, reveals the scope and the scale of the extraordinary savagery of Hamas. An instruction manual found on the bodies of the terrorists after the massacre detailed their plan.Within the document, it refers to the gates to the community being guarded and that shift changes take place “every so often”. It instructs its user: “destroy the guarding post at the gate of the kibbutz.
”More gunmen will “breach the kibbutz fence on the northwest side”, it says, allowing two cells to advance. One cell will take over the east while the other pushes through the west of the kibbutz.Among the footage shown on Monday, a terrorist breaks into a guard post and waits for his first victim. Soon, a car approaches the gate and a young man rolls down his window, asking what is going on.The gunman riddles his body with bullets, sending him slumping towards the steering wheel as his white T-shirt turns pink with blood.Next, we see a young brunette woman apparently shot in her car and then left face-down on the road.  She is wearing blue jeans and her black tank top has ridden up, exposing her back. Over the road is a young man, who was presumably driving in the same vehicle as her. When the terrorists reach Israeli dwellings, they follow the instructions of their manual: “shoot as many as possible”, “take hostages and take some of them to the Gaza Strip using various cars.” And so the staggering onslaught continues. There are families murdered in their beds. A woman’s head mashed into her pillow. The burned corpses of babies still in their baby-grows.In one video shot on a terrorists’ mobile phone, a man is repeatedly bludgeoned with a garden hoe. The killer shouts “Allahu Akbar” with each plunge into his victim’s chest.Israeli authorities obtained a recording of a phone call one terrorist made on WhatsApp to his father in Gaza. He declares down the phone: “Dad, I killed 10 with my bare hands.” He repeats the sentence over and over. The phone is handed to his mother and the terrorist, who responds to the name Mahmoud, shouts: “Mum, your son is a hero. Kill, Kill, Kill.”The parents ask their son to come home to Gaza. They tell their child: “May God bring you back in peace.”Instruction found on bodies of Hamas operatives. This is a diagram of instructions for the setup of a motorcycle unit. The desecration of corpses appears utterly routine to the Hamas units. Several terrorists stamp on one corpse as they cheer the slaughter. A group of female Israeli army recruits are incapacitated with a grenade before being shot at point-blank range.A young woman, covered in blood, is seen limping out of one car before being forced into another. It is unclear what happened to her next.At the Supernova festival, photographs show teenagers cowering together as Hamas fighters go on the rampage. The terrorists, filming on their GoPro head-cameras, fire off round after round into the Portaloos. In a parking lot they are shown again kicking the bodies of the dead. One young man is forced into a truck with other victims. As the camera zooms in, it can be seen that half of his arm has been blown off. Not everyone in the back of the pick-up truck appears to be alive. The terrorists who ride with them are grinning from ear to ear.And then there are the burnt corpses which litter the streets, cars, and homes. Some resemble nothing more than charcoal, the only signs of their full human form being segments of skull that have not turned black from smoke.Admiral Daniel Hagari of the Israel Defense Forces told journalists they had agonised over whether or not to show this footage to the press. They decided to do so because they wanted the world to see such “crimes against humanity”.“It is not just Israel’s problem, it is a world problem because it affects the whole region,” he said.“We will not let the world forget.”Broaden your horizons with award-winning British journalism.
