So like one thing I'm afraid of is for when the musical comes out and we (hopefully) get new fans, is fanon!Johnny. Like Johnny often infantilized in fanon which is annoying as fuck and I despise it, but a trend I see with these type of characters like that is that all of the sudden the fandom will be like 'omg why is this character being to woobified' which is good, but then they'll take it to the next extreme. Like in the ST, Will Byers is the sweet and sensitive character (he's also canonically gay) but in order not to fall into the 'feminine gay' stereotype, a lot of the fandom would make him hypermasculine (emphasis on him being muscular and broad, make him more sarcastic and done with everyone's bullshit, making him over-competent) which completely changes his character. Like seriously there's got to be some nuance here. Some middle ground maybe?

hunger game aus where they get rid of the "one girl and one boy" tribute rule are very valid and cool but I feel like this leads to one possibility I have never seen utilized:

Someone's name is pulled out of the fish bowl. Then, for the second drawing, their name is pulled out again.

I think they should just be double tribute then.

Here's the thing, I'm tired of love interests for Buck and Eddie that exist just to be love interests. Madney works because Maddie exists outside of Chim so we got attached to her before we got attached to them together. Both Bobby and Athena were developed as characters before they got together so we like them together. Hell even Abby was more interesting because she existed outside of Buck. Ali, Taylor, Ana, they existed to be love interests so they're not developed so we don't get a lot to care about there. If they're gonna get new love interests and I'm supposed to move on, please make them exist beyond them, thank you.

the thing is i very much understand the appeal of lupcretia narratively bc they are foils who betray each other and then forgive each other because the force of their grief and guilt brings them to an understanding and i also understand the appeal of blupcretia bc its a three person relationship who disagree on something major and split apart leaving one party feeling abandoned when the other two agree against her and what does that mean for the fact that the rest of their lives outside a horrible timeloop are supposed to start soon Because of that decision and disagreement like i get it narratively its interesting!! but here’s the thing: i just have an unshakeable belief that lup is straight

I sort of brushed that thought off but the moment we saw of that person being shot keeps reminding me of when she sees Deputy Griffin kill that person in 3x03 I think? which would be the last time we know she was in a car accident.

I also think that could work from a logistical point of view for the episode — we’ve seen that the 126 is in the hospital waiting room (at some point at least, not sure if it’s 4x09), and Owen talks in the promo about finding Marwani so it’s reasonable that they go and find her and take her to the hospital, and while she’s recovering, she’s going through this internal processing in her head of past experiences where she could/couldn’t save people
