I don’t like taking out the trash and I don’t like the rain, so I took out the trash while it was steadily pouring outside - mental barrier: 0, Me: 1
I booked a pick-up schedule for books I’m giving away to an IG mutual. I normally get anxious over simple tasks like this but I thought, f*ck it, I’m just gonna do it and pretend I know what I’m doing. And if I’m stuck, I can just ask. It should be that simple. It’s that simple. It doesn’t feel euphoric, but it gives me perspective that I tend to be anxious over the silliest things. Which is GOOD. Because if it’s silly, then it’s totally overcome-able.
Jogged in public for the first time in years! Felt refreshing and calming. I felt heavy, but it’s normal after all the weight gain and not actively jogging for years. Lasted 11 minutes straight.
Very minimal spotting 🤏🏼 it’s giving me hope that my period is happening soon. I get so anxious and stressed when my period is late - it makes me feel I’m doing something wrong even when I’m doing my darnest to do all the right things
Actually felt EXHAUSTED last night, which helped me sleep. Lately I’ve been struggling with sleep. I know movement always helps, but I’ve also been lethargic to do that. But I finally gave in and did a bench press session, which helped me get tired and sleepy.

I feel lazy. As in I don’t want to do anything but stay in bed and read. I don’t often feel this way, but today I’m feeling it strongly. I guess the lesson here is to put aside instant gratification and focus on the task at hand, so my reward later (reading in bed) would actually feel good and I won’t toss and turn feeling guilty for lazying out during the day.
Spiraled too much on how to make my bookstagram better. I freed myself of the mental pressure of keeping track of everything, but it gave me room to be anxious over other more trivial things 🫠

How do you adjust periworkout nutrition if you train in the morning?
It’s no different conceptually. You are eating to support training and muscle growth specifically. I do understand that it can be a bit more challenging if you are crunched for time to eat breakfast. Just go with a simple whey iso shake and blend in some nut butter and oats if that is the case! Post workout, give it an hour unless you are starving, then just eat a normal meal. A normal breakfast would be fine then. Of course, drink your intra shake! For some that train very early in the morning and don’t like or don’t have a good time frame to eat a meal beforehand, I would start drinking an intraworkout shake on the way to the gym.
