u think their superspeed only applies to their legs/flight? think again!

when their powers start developing they also start speaking faster and faster until everything they say is pure gibberish. it’s rlly hard to control, especially when they’re first coming into their powers, bc they don’t even realize they’re doing it, that’s just the speed that seems natural for them 

ofc, they all learn to control it rather quickly, lest they give their more-than-humanness away to classmates and random strangers, but it always sneaks up on them when they get rlly passionate about something

it’s like how people w accents slip deeper into their accent (even if they’ve taught themselves not to use it) when they get rlly into a conversation, only for supers, it’s speed

atp, all of the necessary parties - the batfam, lois, other various leaguers - have grown to understand them (to an extent, anyway) when they start speed talking, but it’s an absolute disaster trying to understand two or more supers speed arguing 

the whole thing’s over before anyone can blink, and, oh, what do u know, there goes kon after another fight w clark, who even knows what this argument was about!

Where’s that post where someone was saying Brennan was probably stressed out during the entirety of his scene in “Pencil’s Down” because he was ready for it to be an elaborate scheme targeting him specifically? Because I’m pretty sure that’s the same shirt he was wearing so there’s a non-zero chance those were filmed on the same day, which is why Brennan was probably already on-set/available on such short notice. And since the set is still intact, that means this was filmed immediately before his Pencils Down scene and it is absolutely reasonable to assume he was waiting for it to be another elaborate setup.
