Let's be fair, Ena hates people with big egos. As someone who has had to work extremely hard and put a lot of effort into what she does to not receive any recognition, she does tend to resent those who believe they deserve it without the same sacrifices...

So when she hears about your noble status, it gives her a bad impression. Since she hasn't actually met any people like you before, she's fallen for a few stereotypes herself, as much as she tried to refuse it.

She was... Stunned when she first saw you. Your look wasn't standoffish, or too overbearing. However, your appearance alone established a regal atmosphere without it feeling suffocating. She was stunned...

She would take a few secret photos of you for her to have fun editing. This was a pretty rare chance, after all! She never used the regal themes much before in her edits, so this could be an interesting change of pace. She wouldn't post them without your permission, and would always block your face though!

Honestly, she was at a loss. What was she supposed to do? Was she supposed to act natural? No, that would be too offensive! Should she act formal as well? She has never been too good at it!

Before long though, she learns that you don't mind her normal attitude, as long as she keeps the condescending part to a minimum, and she sighs in relief.

She will definitely ask about how your place looks! The colors, aesthetics, textures, she wants to know it all! If you're able to show her photos, she'll spend hours staring at them to take in every single pixel! Also...

"How did you just keep your cool talking with that cashier?? She was just so rude! She didn't need to pry into our personal life with those questions! God, it's so frustrating what some people do! But... You didn't bat an eye, nor raise your tone! How...?? You're so amazing!"

You shrug it off as something you have to deal with often, and get used to, and Ena seriously questions the implications that you and others of the group may not be so different...

Offer her lessons in proper manners, it could go a long way! Ena isn't the type to mince her words, so this could help her a lot to stay out of trouble...

All in all, meeting you and spending time with you would be an enlightening experience for her, to learn and to explore a side of the world she knew little about! And with you by her side, she could work on some positive attitudes for a change!

Mizuki Akiyama

Mizuki knows that acting the way they do isn't the most pleasing for any stranger, so they have learnt about how to act respectfully and properly, even think it may not seem like it!

That's why they were a bit stiff when first meeting you, making sure you didn't mind their normal attitude, before relaxing once you tell them that it's fine, that they didn't need to force it too much.

They will still treat you a bit special, teasing you less and being generally more respectful altogether! It's... Weird. Their usual energy still shines through, and it's evident that they aren't acting as before.

If any of your clothes need a small touch up, they will jump at the opportunity and help you! They will be a bit nervous working with such precious materials, but their talent is unmatched!

They will also host small dress up sessions in your house with all of the clothes you don't use much. They look like they're having so much fun... These clothes are so rare after all!

However, they're taken by surprise when you tell them to try some out. It's... A shock! Mizuki, wearing regal clothes! Well, don't mind them as the session doubles in length and noise with them squealing and getting excited!

Since then, they've fully loosened up and now treat you like anyone else! Teasing you, trying to crack your respectful demeanor, taking cover behind you when someone else (Ena, usually) starts to criticize their behavior...

It becomes a test of sorts, as you try to endure either the urge to shut them up or to laugh at their behavior, although you will laugh more when out of the public's eye. It's such a weird experience, unique of such a person like them!

"Waaaah, why is Ena so meaaaan?? The only thing I wanted was to ridicule her by showing how much editing her selfies went through before being posted! I mean, three hours?? SERIOUSLY?? And she says that I'm the unreasonable one! Waaaahhh... You're on my side, riiiight??"

They do know when to tone it down though, and when they notice that you're tired or simply not having any of it, they return to a more passive attitude, even showing a respectful front instead of you at times!

All in all, they will flip your life upside down, so long as you stay by their side! Everything becomes lighter and brighter next to them, letting you lower your guard with no fear of needing it on, thanks to the casual environments! Just make sure to remain by their side... You're a pillar of strength, even if you don't realize it.

🎂 October 17th Birthday Girls 🎂

It's my birthday, so I drew myself with my two main OCs, who also share my birthday! (Just different years haha)

Yes, all three of us are nicknamed Ro. And they do have aspects of my personality to them. But other than that, the three of us are super different!

To those of you who don't know them, the girl on the left (red hair, piece sign) is my Equestria Girls OC, Rose Gold. She has a magical talent to see who people's soulmates are, and is a self-proclaimed matchmaker, though her confidence in her abilities may surpass her actual success range. She may or may not come off as kind of crazy sometimes, but she means well and has a heart of gold! (No pun intended)

And the older girl on the right (brown hair, in the Bucky hoodie) is my MCU OC, Roxanne Brooks, AKA Seda. As you may have guessed by her hand gesture, she has spider powers! She started off as my Spidersona but ended up becoming SO much more than that, and she has her whole story and AU that I'm currently working on publishing! (The story is fully planned out, though) She's very shy and insecure, which sometimes makes her superheroing difficult. But she's one of the kindest-hearted people you'll ever meet (as long as you don't get on her bad side or messed with her loved ones). She has had a rough life, but when she meets someone who's had it even worse, finding common ground with said person may lead to something more blooming between them (COUGH her hoodie gives you the answer, COUGH).

EDIT: I forgot to mention that her hoodie design is based off one made by an Instagram account StyledByMarvel. I'm totally in love with that hoodie and I'm not sure if they still have it in stock, but if they do, I so wanna get myself one someday TuT

You can see more of Roxanne specifically in the Instagram I have dedicated to her and the OCxCanon couple, as well as the ongoing fanfic about them! I don't have a lot of Rose Gold's lore posted as of yet, but my next post is going to be a little introduction to both her and a secret relative that she may or may not get all that well along with. 👀

okay but we'd HAVE to do it with Kami like omg the Uchiha Clan were MADE for this shit, the namesake of techniques alone...!

The temptation to make all Uchiha demigod children or descendants of Amaterasu is very much there but... Imagine Madara as the son of Amaterasu. What if Itachi is the demigod son of Tsukuyomi (Sasuke too ofc) so Shisui is still his cousin as the demigod son of Susanoo (I just have a thing about Shisui being connected to his Mangekyou Susanoo in a really special way ok)? They'd all be 'big three' children, closely related, and it would be a really cool parallel narrative if a fic crossover directly engaged with the usual PJO cast as a Modern AU or maybe Shisui is stuck between life and death with Itachi and they, through plot events, come back to life in the modern era or something???

I think there'd be some amazing powers if you want to skew Shisui's talents towards the domains of Susanoo - who, as God of storms, is considered wilder (a really cool dynamic if you consider that Shisui comes across as sweet and empathetic but also has a rash, manipulative, soloist streak) - and whilst Uchiha are usually aligned with fire (Shisui's Mangekyou Susanoo burns green, so there's room there for manipulation) Shisui is also all about speed. In Narutoverse, he's also the grandson of Kagami, who was Tobirama's student, so there's room there for Shisui to have an unconventional legacy. From my brief research, I've read that the Kami Susanoo's fight with the dragon Orochi led to the creation of the Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, which was given to Amaterasu who gave it to her son; maybe Shisui could find the sword as a plot point?

There are plenty of Kami and Yokai and Oni and other figures across Japanese mythology and religion to incorporate into a God AU like this! Just think of how you could explain the Bijuu...

Anyway, there's so much here for someone with more knowledge (my deft googling isn't up to par) to churn out some really beautiful, detailed, and sensitive world building!

Of Will and Wildflowers--- when you mentioned my tags on previous posts, I knew you meant this fic because it is (imo) one of the best AUs in this fandom and I recall having zero chill every time you posted 😂. I mean??? Tarlos + Bridgerton-inspired universe? Exceptional, and as I sit here reflecting on it, all I can think about is how the yearning in this fic was top-tier. It is underrated, and I take that personally, tbh. If you were to consider a follow-up, I would be first in line to read it!

Mercy never met a homebrew they wouldn’t sample. like, oh shit you made it? yeah I’ll take a sip of that. They don’t drink much (that was their teen years), but they do want to taste something locally made. And mercy loves being someone’s drinking buddy. hell yes, sit next to me, gimme the DL. can always rely on them to be the dd and cover the bill. Didn’t get drunk on the sr1. On the occasions they do get close to shitfaced—well. mercy’s alone shut away somewhere. The ones that have a pass to drop by are Kasumi, Thane, Edi, Jack n Vega. (crime lord: wrex, kasumi. sports coach: vega, nihlus. white collar: samara, edi)

Stellan doesn’t want just a drinking buddy—they want a whole party! as many people as possible. On Mindoir, Stellan was raised in an artists farming commune that had large gatherings to celebrate a harvest and the gifts of the season—sharing fresh cheeses and bread, vegetables on the grill and fruit for smoking later, jars of jam and pickles and butter, honey wine and fruit beer. eating under the big tree. dancing and music around a bonfire, watching the sun (and for some, the moon, too) sink down into the lake. that being said they have a wine night or two doing some board games/group activity. oh you know their citadel party was just. spectacular. joyful

25. Does Shepard dream of the starchild, or does it take a different form?

OKAY so I’m stupid and was a uhhhhh lil high when I wrote this list of questions, so I’m gonna articulate it a bit better n split it into two and maybe go edit the list: Who are they chasing after in their nightmares? Does the starchild/reaper take this form for the final confrontation?

So in Mercy’s nightmares, it starts out as strangers, acquaintances then loved ones revealed to be indoctrinated and consumed by reaper tech until barely recognizable. And inspired by @angstyastro’s big brained Isani idea that gripped me by the throat and hadn’t let up, is the starchild takes mercy’s image, flickering randomly between ages, from younger than they remember to older than they’ll ever be

Stellan’s first dream has the kid, Anderson and the alliance room they were in blasted to bits. They start having nightmares about the mindoir raid (they hadn’t had one in nearly seven years). And the starchild flits between all their siblings, many parents, grandparents and cousins. It hurts, makes them angry at first, but with the slurry of pain, concussion and adrenaline, it’s not too bad seeing their faces again

Ahhh I can’t come up with anything for Truce yet, I gotta rotate them some more

32. What kind of drunk is Shepard? Affectionate, weepy, belligerent…?

Mercy is… honest. They have opinions—in a way that others belatedly realize that until that moment, Shepard’s been holding them at arms length. And for all that mercy knows just every detail and decision that shaped their lives, and like, even after saving the entire galaxy together (twice!!!!), mercy rarely talks about themself. when they’re drugged with a psychedelic (a self-indulgent tropey abduction fic I’ll finish some some day), they are deeply affectionate and weepy

Stellan is a flirt. It’s so unexpected because hoo boy. The commander does not have game. after a pina colada though? Smooth criminal. Fetching blush all across the cheeks, their nose and ears pinking. Big velvet pupils, white teeth biting down on reddened lips. Clever timing, a charming laugh. Leans all up into your space. And with Shiala! Positively handsy. It’s a sight to behold for sure, of spritely little Stellan Shepard leaving tall beefy Shiala with a dropped jaw and a hot stare. Big dancer

"When" is easy: when I saw the headlines that Roger was retiring and then I watched the sobfest that was Laver Cup and it Changed me.

"Why" is a much harder question, but the short answer is, "because I love my husband."

"Wait, wtf is this girl inhaling" you might say. Okay, that one might need some unpacking, so strap in, folks: like most people, I have a Type that I find insanely attractive. Apparently mine is "tall but not John Isner tall, slender build, long limbs, high level of coordination, feather light on their feet, movements so smooth who needs fucking butter, strong hands, laid back and relaxed vibe, self-assured and confident without being arrogant, comfortable with who they are and unapologetic about it, talented, creative, competent in everything they do, has a soft/wooby side that they're not afraid to show, emotionally intelligent, knows what they want and is not afraid to go after it, thinks strategically but lives in the moment, knows when to push through and when to relax, has a clear vision of where they're going and how to get there, calm and composed exterior but has a silly streak a mile wide, king of nicknames, high empathy, classic personal style but with a modern twist, looks good in a suit, nice hair."

That's how I like my men, that's who my real-life husband is in a nutshell, and that's probably why I like Roger so much.

As for why I like Rafa, well it's because I have eyes. Even though Rafa doesn't exactly fit my type, I do appreciate it when someone has that much booty and tanned skin on display. And I also have a soft spot for the introvert who is honest, sincere, hardworking, maybe not as naturally talented as others but knows how to use their strengths to achieve their goals, is extremely driven, makes up for any shortcomings through dedication and perseverance, understands their own abilities clearly but maybe doesn't always understand their real worth, can be a ridiculous ball of anxiety and has to employ various methods to get that shit under control, cannot be on time to save their life, super focused on the outside but a hopeless mess on the inside, always gives it their all.

(Spoiler alert: it me)

So there are really two reasons why I like Fedal:

On the conscious level, it's because I'm a sucker for poetry, symmetry, and contrast. (Can you tell that I was an English Literature major?) I think @zingaplanet summarized the lyrical appeal of the Fedal rivalry/dynamic the best in her biblical post here. I can't explain it better than Z did in that post, so I'll just point out that the intimacy and uniqueness of Roger and Rafa's relationship is so beautiful--and obvious--that I just want to roll in it like a cat in a warm blanket. Seeing a relationship like they have is gonna get me every time; I'm an absolute sucker for it.

But on the subconscious level, I think Fedal appeals to me because Roger and Rafa in some ways remind me of me and my husband as individuals. So obviously I want them to be married and share jokes together and hug and kiss each other and smack each other on the ass and hold hands and basically live happily together forever. The end.

**EDITED TO ADD: I got so carried away that I forgot your second question: I don’t want to spoil it, so I’ll just say that the fic I’m working on is the next installment in the “Carlos Moya Is Tired of This Shit” series, so you can expect Roger and Rafa being completely ridiculous and Carlos standing on the sidelines watching the disaster unfold.

First I wanted to be a singer or an actress (I’m a classically trained mezzo soprano who had prodigy talent at four years old— my voice teacher ran her own opera school in Italy👀🏃‍♀️). It's the year 2021 and you're obsessed with The Karate Kid. How are you feeling?:  great!!! I never would've imagined meeting so many kind and talented people through this karate show and my humble doodles inspired by it haha, and I know I sort of came to it late but its been crazy to watch how much the fandom has grown in just the last 6 months?? Absolutely bananas, I cant wait until the next season 🍌🥋

Did you grow up with TKK or are you new to the series?: kind of new!! Like obviously my friends and family had seen it, (I think I remember my cousin telling me she really liked it when we were kids, which made me spitefully REFUSE to watch it on tape while I was at her house because we were beefing over little kid shit at the time?? afsgdhfjf god bless) and like obviously it was available to me through popcultural osmosis and so on, but it was never really something I took an interest in or went out of my way to watch, so last year was the first time I sat down and actually watched all three movies from beginning to end, so I'm pretty fresh to it!! (and LOL sorry to my cousin!! you were right!)

We gotta do the basics. Favorite character:  UHHHHHH this is so hard oh my god, because I feel like I flip flop on this pretty much daily but uhh?? Daniel? And maybe more specifically adult Daniel, because there's something incredibly moving watching the karate kid grow into a complicated adult whose sort of living like he's trapped in the second verse of a Bruce Springsteen song T___T (and OBVIOUSLY adult Johnny too omg, I mean he's the soul of the show and the reason I ended up falling in love with it, and I literally cry about him all the time, so T____T I don't know this is a tough call! also Miguel!!)

Underrated character:  I mean obviously Aisha, there was so much they could've explored with her character in the canon, and she had such a specific and unique relationship to the themes of the show that would've been awesome to have seen developed further, and the sort of flippant "didn't you hear? Her parents sent her to private school" was just :-((( but I guess Counselor Blatt too!! Like I have loved what I've seen of her character explored in fanfic, but I'd also kill to see more of her on screen, because like?? She went to high school with these guys omg, it'd be great to see all three of them interacting with each other in some capacity, and I want more unsubtle Daniel-thirsting ("I was kinda hoping you would show up in costume. Maybe a karate gi?" ;) for a whole show dedicated to karate, this poor lady has yet to realize her gi kink omg, someone fix this)

Will Anthony LaRusso ever be relevant?:  PLEASE GOD!!!!!!! IM BEGGING 🙏🙏🙏 fanfic has once again totally spoiled me in this regard (when I first started watching the show I read @storyshark2005 's incredible (No) Mercy for the Midlife Crisis before I had even began season 2, which incorporates Anthony's character in such a convincing and satisfyingly brilliant way that, after finishing it, I erroneously believed that he'd be given a similar depth and necessity in canon and like!!! 30-if you were leaving simblr and had to choose another creator to continue the story for you, who would you ask?

I was hoping someone would ask this one! I love a good excuse to fawn over my simblr besties! So here's the plan, girlies. I probably wouldn't end the story unless I died. (dark, i know but hear me out) So if that were the case, I'd split the story up to guarantee the best outcome. This is a team effort so get ready for this!

I'd ask you, (@zosa95) of course, first and foremost because you're the most consistent reader who's been around since day 1, and I think you'd be able to handle all the romance and fluff scenes that I'd need! You know how to really ace that cozy, (sometimes cheesy :P) vibe that I love in my stories. Plus, despite being busy I know you're great at seeing things through and are very dependable! Also writing is a PASSION for you, and you do it well!

Then I'd ask @queeniecook because this girl- knows. these. characters. Especially if the story references a character from the earlier generations, I feel like she has a pretty impressive memory and remembers little facts that sometimes even I had forgotten! Plus she created the challenge the story was based on so I know you'd do it justice.

Then I'd ask dynastiasimss for many reasons! First, it would just make sense because our universes may or may not be connected in some ways (stay tuned!) I mean we already collab so often, and have many collab plans for the future. Also, despite being a new(ish) reader and not being around since the beginning, she really has dived deep into the current generation and really knows the current characters. I have a lot of supernatural and magical aspects that takes a lot of editing and effects, and one look at her stories and you know she'd just kill it in that department. Also, she's literally studying 3D animation, so maybe when she comes home from working on her dream movie, she'll have some talent to spare for the story over the weekend 😄

Then I think I'd ask @berrysweetboutique because we go waaaay back, and I really connected to her posts when I first joined simblr. She really inspires me, and in my head is like my supportive simblr big sister, I think she'd really be able to emulate both my sim style and my photography style to create future characters, and make adorable renders and little AU moments to make your heart melt 😊

Then last but not least I'd have my husband join the team because he knows me the best, and well.... He's got them spoilers. 😄

I have quite a few more that I'd ask, but I wanted to keep this short as possible 🤭
