7am for me on a weekend just woke up im still in bed and yeah sure why not lol

story-wise, i don't feel like any plaid/pastel ships will necessarily end up together. their mutual crushes are very canon and a plot point with gwen's self image slowly becoming dependent on how frederick sees her, and frederick learning how to care about himself and fight for what he believes in. gwen is kind of one of his first friends i'd say, they do like each other a lot, but my intuition tells me it'd be left ambiguous or with them taking time off deciding to be friends for now, and i would honestly love that. 1. Friendship is AWESOME and doesn't mean less than a romantic relationship!! so 2. just think it'd be cool... Frederick's whole arc is motivated by Gwen, and the message of him doing all this just for the fact he cares about her and NOT just to get with her, and him being just as happy that they're friends as much as he'd be happy if they kissed at the end of the fight or something. Epic

the farthest i could see their relationship going is some future flash forward where they're just casually together, or one of them approaches each other and is like "could we try this again?" otherwise i see gwen and frederick taking their relationship slow ever since the gala incident. Could also be completely wrong. 6/10 chance in my book

after the Gala Shebang, i think any infatuation maria felt for blaine has wiped away and i just can't see them ending up together together in the story, and having it make sense. Maybe like. 30 years in the future?? cause i could see maria dating around. Never text your ex when you're drunk type situation.

ok so self indulgent putting-my-oc-in-a-dumb-au doodles time, featuring the short song from over the garden wall, 'The Beast'

ok au concept:

takes place in the canon events of Security Breach, but Sun is the one helping y/n or Gregory or whoever. He's doing it partly out of selfishness, though- he wants out of the pizza plex almost more than you do, and he's actively hiding Moon's existence, and his relation to him, from you, even as it becomes clearer and clearer that doing so puts you in serious danger. insert Hazel- in this au, a scrapped concept for a character that would work in the Daycare-section of the plex, in the same way Foxy would've had a space there, too. Her project was cut while she was still in a beta phase, leaving her a bare-bones animatronic, barely above an endoskeleton with a few shell pieces fixed on. Though not infected with the virus, she's been stuck beneath the main plex for who knows how long, seething and spiteful and waiting. Waiting. Waiting. When Sun and Y/n or whoever come along to her portion of the plex (probably by some kind of accident), she lets herself be known, gives her name, chides Sun for not telling his 'new best buddy' about her, then switches to comment that maybe he doesnt even remember her, it sure is EASY to forget little things like that, isn't it, Sun? It's just so easy to let such trivial bits of information slip your mind, Sun? Isn't it? Sun is like 'DONT trust this animatronic, theyre not supposed to still exist, they were put out of commission a long time ago, theyre clearly corrupted and out of order, lets get OUT OF HERE LIKE RIGHT NOW,' and Hazel chooses right then to warn y/n about Moon 'since Sun apparently couldn't baaaare to talk about just what He's Done :) but I'm sure you can trust him <3' and then Hazel just. leaves. and isn't seen again! Does she escape?? Does she stay to burn in the rubble? Is she killed by a falling ceiling tile???? who knows!!! I just like the idea of her being like 'hey whats uppppp dont trust this dude lmao he's killed kids just like the rest of them have, aight peace motherfuckas' and NEVER SHOWING UP AGAIN sdfjsjkdhfsj its just so funny to me

I feel like I’m missing some aspect of fandom culture, I thought we all understood writers could see bookmarks and it’s shitty to then write mean things in them? Like marking it publicly for bad grammar or something is just…so needlessly mean? There are private bookmarks for a reason, why do you want to go out of your way to make people feel bad? This isnt a goodreads review or something, authors are desperate for comments and connection, of course theyre going to look at bookmarks, even if just to see what genre people are putting their fic in. Idk I just didnt realize this was a big debate or that some people thought it was so obvious that bookmarks can publicly trash the fic theyre on. My view was the complete opposite

you’re not missing anything, a lot of people in fandom agree with you, but there are some people that don’t. some of this is changing fandom culture over time i think. i suppose some people feel that it is their right to say whatever they want in the bookmarks since they’re not a comment section, and they have a point in that the purpose of bookmarks is not to give the author positive feedback.

but what is the purpose of leaving negative comments on them? to what end?

the only reason i can think to do this as a public bookmark is to discourage other people from reading it, which…. is also kinda shitty to do, unless it’s like “don’t read this because it’s lukanette endgame” which is valid

no one so far has replied to me about why they do this so i don’t have any other answers

haha i hav 69 followers nice. N E WAY look. i meant 2 save this 4 after the apply fic came out (way 2 long xplanation under the cut) but im impatient n i j made all this cool art so i think u shuld see it

OK. 1 of the 1st social medias i evr got as a kid wuz wattpad. ive made n deleted so many accounts.. the memories r craz,,, n e way, its mostly behind me now but i still check back on the website sumtimez n i check my notifs or whatevz. n sum1 i followed a while back is doing an apply fic that is basically like 6 percy jackson ocs.

now heres the thing.. i dont actually rlly kno what an apply fic is. but based on the description n other oc entries in the comment section its a thing where u giv the writer yr character n then they write it into a fic. which is p cool!! n i do luv 2 make ocs.

heres the other thing: i dont hav n e percy jackson-esque ocs so i had 2 make sum. n where did my mind immediately go?? ace attorney ofc cuz thats my obsession. so i decided 2 make sum ocs based on ace attorney characters. they were gonna b reeeeeally obviously ace attorney @ 1st but i didnt want it 2 b super easy 2 figure out so i changed up their names n gave em different designs n stuff. but basically they all hav the same backstories n personalities other than all the god stuff

turns out tho that i rlly like making knock-off percy jackson/ace attorney ocs so i made em like supa separate from their original ace attorney source n now theyre j kind of their own oc guise. i rlly luv how theyre turning out actually

N E WAY all of this 2 provide context 4 me 2 say that i wanted 2 save these designs n this ace attorney xplanation bc it was kind of a silly lil harmless prank way of me being able 2 say i snuck ace attorney characters into a percy jackson-esque fanfic even tho i didnt rlly cuz, once again, these r basically my ocs now. also idk if n e of em will actually make it into the fic yet. n i didnt want the writer of the apply fic 2 stumble upon my carrd (which is, yes, linked in my wattpad) n accidentally find my tumblr n see this post n then like. idk. disqualify me. "but beetle u didnt hav 2 tell tumblr n e thing abt these ocs!!!" well sumtimez u j wanna post art dude!!

BUT WHATEVER MAN!!!! im paranoid n the writer finding my tumblr let alone reading n e of this is highly unlikely. even if they did they wuldnt fucking care. so heres sum ocs i came up w. n in case its not clear (which it probably isnt 4 at least 2 out of 4 of these designs/names), rich is gumshoe, jay is edgeworth, phoenix is phoenix (woaw), n spyridoula is maya

note that 'rich' n 'dick' r both nicknames 4 richard, jay's name is basically 'scales of justice' n also his dad died, phoenix is so lazy that his name is actually j 'phoenix,' n spyridoula is i think j named the word 4 'spirit' in greek. also shes a hippie

anyways pls dont feel obligated to follow your schedule, like posting every 5-6 days after the previous chapter or posting early to please your readers.

instead, go with your own pacing when uploading new content and upload them whenever you feel like it. pumping out more than 1k words every week is not easy and ive seen far too many of my favorite authors being forced to upload every chance they get whenever theyre free when they could be living their lives ykwim?

i want to remind you that when you write for something that youre so passionate about, dont make it seem like you feel like you’re working. no one owes you anything. i dont want what you do as a hobby rendered you to feel like you dont wanna do it anymore.

and i dont wanna see that happening to you cus i would be so heartbroken if i ever have to witness that again. regardless of your decisions, i will always support you and will always want you to do what makes you happy and thats enough for me hehe ily kai. remember that 🫶🏼

hi! same anon here. what i mean by interact is idk, make funny comments on things sometimes? share input on dragon share? etc? and maybe make MOD MONITORED discords/etc for the site and maybe we wouldn’t have had what happened with the light flight discord.

not to bring PB in this, but that’s what PB has on FR imo. the staff actually casually interacts with people, laughs at funny ideas, and suggests input and actually tells people “what’s being worked on or discussed” so people know it’s at least being talked about. PB having an official discord prevents it from being admined by shitty people, ex the light flight discord.

don’t excuse non-interaction for being “uwu theyre human”. no. humans would interact with people on their fucking site more other than just a section most people don’t even pay attention to.

additionally i find it real funny how most ppl in that post other than one person completely glossed over the fact that i think it’s downright disgusting that bigotry isn’t being handled. i don’t give a shit if it’s one person handling all the tickets. if they’re doing their job, which im sure they are, they read all the tickets. if ive sent in a ticket four times over the course of this whole year, about the same thing, clearly the person doesn’t care.

don’t lie and say you have a welcoming community if you have awful people like that on your platform and chock poor moderation and poor protection of minorities up to “oh it’s only one person uwu” maybe that’s the issue? like do you not realize maybe if they are overloading one person they should hire more people, or is your anti-exploitation only for big corporations?

i think first of all i only really care about mgs1 liquid and mantis, because i've not played mgsv so even tho i do Know Of their young versions i don't really like have any strong feelings abt them. HOWEVER. for mgs1 liquid + mantis i think they're ppl that i tend to ignore/forget but that if i actually think abt them they’re good and maybe deeper than they seem. more down below:

like liquid is a Funny Guy he’s very funny as a ridiculous cartoon villain similar to ocelot i guess BUT i do feel like him being one of the clones automatically gives him some depth which if i could be bothered to explore i would. like he’s obviously insane and silly but idk its interesting to think abt how he sees himself/himself in relation to big boss/ and just what is it that he really wants etc. the specifics of his daddy issues . and i think his dynamic with mantis is very fun like i dont go there but they are a fun pair with a lot of potential. i dig their whole childhood friends to like whatever . goth freak and beans on toast jock blowing up the world. maybe they hang out inside each other’s minds psychically. i think it’s a shame there’s not a bit more of them as adults in canon i guess idk? and also like. i think psycho mantis is fucking FUN like ignoring any deeper thoughts he’s such a good character on a funny and wacky level. i’ll never forget like. ok so the twin snakes was the first mgs game i ever played right? and i knew nothing abt the series and was kind of only just getting into playing games that arent pkmn or mario at that point anyway. so i was not expecting any of the mgs wackiness at all. but when i got to the psycho mantis fight i laughed so much id never played a section of a game like it before. like when he says put the controller down and i’ll move it with my mind and u do and the rumble makes it “move” and it’s so STUPID but so fucking silly and funny i was enamoured. like. just that whole fight the music the room his sick bondage outfit all the breaking the 4th wall. honestly i loved it. the first mgs fanart i ever did was of psycho mantis would you believe. bc halfway thru playing twin snakes i was just like this guy rocks. so anyway even tho that’s more of a comment on the game as a whole and not mantis as a character i think i will always be fond of mgs1(twin snakes) mantis because honestly he’s what really sort of made me go (!) this series is fucking stupid cringe insane bad goofy FUNNY and i love it. u kno???? so respect to him.

so YEAH overall i think while i do tend to favour big boss/ocelot/snavid/ those kinda characters more, i definitely don’t hate or dislike liquid + mantis, they’re my friends definitely my good friends. ( i half filled in has never done anything wrong bc i love that post that says something similar abt liquid like “what did he actually do” “was going to launch a nuke” “yeah but he didn’t” LOL. )
