if you don't mind me asking, could you rank these "couples" from most to least likely to end up together in the final?
Maria and Blaine
Lorena and Lance
Gwen and Frederick
Nell and Jolie
Jamie and Leopold
Whitney and Prez
Saffron and Syrah (I'm helpless with names i'm pretty sure that's not how it's written)
7am for me on a weekend just woke up im still in bed and yeah sure why not lol
story-wise, i don't feel like any plaid/pastel ships will necessarily end up together. their mutual crushes are very canon and a plot point with gwen's self image slowly becoming dependent on how frederick sees her, and frederick learning how to care about himself and fight for what he believes in. gwen is kind of one of his first friends i'd say, they do like each other a lot, but my intuition tells me it'd be left ambiguous or with them taking time off deciding to be friends for now, and i would honestly love that. 1. Friendship is AWESOME and doesn't mean less than a romantic relationship!! so 2. just think it'd be cool... Frederick's whole arc is motivated by Gwen, and the message of him doing all this just for the fact he cares about her and NOT just to get with her, and him being just as happy that they're friends as much as he'd be happy if they kissed at the end of the fight or something. Epic
the farthest i could see their relationship going is some future flash forward where they're just casually together, or one of them approaches each other and is like "could we try this again?" otherwise i see gwen and frederick taking their relationship slow ever since the gala incident. Could also be completely wrong. 6/10 chance in my book
after the Gala Shebang, i think any infatuation maria felt for blaine has wiped away and i just can't see them ending up together together in the story, and having it make sense. Maybe like. 30 years in the future?? cause i could see maria dating around. Never text your ex when you're drunk type situation.
lorance: ...maybe.? I'll have to watch a little more and see what my brain tells me. so far im feeling they end up friends bc adore their friendship tbh. I'll have to see till after the siege, they very much so care about each other though!
jellie: Yes (just a hunch)
syron: ambiguous. a specific scenario suited towards their relationship . i feel it in my bones. epilogue where saff confesses and sy's just like haha. WAIT WHAT??? 7/10
leomie: Yes. their confession is in my top 3 for cpc. No words. Undescribed. I. I cannot express,
calwhit: feel like it'd stay unrequited on whitney's end but they'd be a great qpr! prez being romance avoidant and such 😎 (aro lore tbh)

General Thoughts on Ship Wars (discord)
Before, I wanna to tell that : I am a very passionate shipper but I don't wish for any hurt to anyone especially to the ones that shipping characters that not my taste or my NOTP. I will simply avoiding those NOTP ships in any way of fanworks, because if I am stumbled upon those NOTP fanworks - I am afraid that I might unleash beast inside me that could hurt even by words - or for myself getting hurt to see character that I feel a nice, romantic couple to be with other character else. I've learned that fanworks world (fanfic: ff, ao3, etc)(fanart: twitter, devianart, etc)(shipping analysis: tumblr, reddit) should be a safe world for anyone to be happy - shipping characters of the series they'll like while letting others in part of the fandom to know the reasons to liking a ship. In short, I am respecting anyone to ships any characters to other BUT please don't push that ship especially by bashing other character by learning how the characters doing and how the relationships progress in the story.
Well, in the fanworks you could do anything you want like making character c looking bad especially highlighting the things they're did in certain aspect of the story, which to make character a and character b (or more if this a polyamory relationship) to be together. But honestly, could that cliché be avoided? For creative thinking that filled with honesty - kindness - and the forgiveness, so even the character c won't be together with either of character a or b - everyone involved are happy. Being happy doesn't always means for union of characters. being listened-understood-respected it's also part of happy spectrum too even if by making that happen means to letting go someone they love. That's not only limits to characters let go the one they'll love (because the love status is uncertain as it's platonically? becomes familiar love? etc) BUT also when the characters they're love are gone - be it for moving on to another part or phase of life, or for going to the afterlife. Because love could turns ugly like obsession if the 'letting go' part not been used healhtly. Cue to inserting this song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9H1-33qQ554
So, people in discord said a really good paragraph exclaim :
It's (refers to the ship wars) definitely not limited to coai (conan/ai), it happened in almost every fandom. But I think it basically boil down to a perfect storm of popular characters with a semi-canon ship status. Shinran (shinichi/ran) fans doesn't need to argue their ship into canon bcs they're already canon. Slash pairing (e.g. kaito/shinichi, heiji/shinichi) also doesn't tend to argue their ship bcs they know it won't happen. Meanwhile coai is very much a possibility (even if it is one-sided) so the fans gets loud in their support in hopes that Gosho (or other party related like Mai kuraki the singer for most of Detective Conan songs) will change the status-quo if coai (a pairing that have lots of ship teases - or the characters are so interesting together with their personalization) becomes more "popular".
I hate it when readers try to force their ideas on the author/creator - let them do their ideas and experiment and see if it works or not (which should be on fanworks world). Although in Gosho's case, I don't think there is reason to fear that but many webtoon creators are young and new to this all and inexperienced so they may bow to the immense pressure of the fans. -> there's many examples in the webtoons already as many unsatisfied readers have the webtoon ending with the ship that 'majority' didn't want like My Deepest Secret, Nice To Meet You!, Edith et cetera
Those webtoons also the example of the ones that didn't have any author note episode at the ending, in fear possibly if explaining why the character a not means to be with c, or technically there's no pairing become canon
Gosho is experienced indeed, BUT in the manga world making - editor is holding the key as basically try to make popular series going as long as possible ~ and if doing so fuelling ship wars by adding teases scenes especially towards triangle love, so be it. It sucks for both the author and readers actually, but it happens anyway. For the creator or author to can't write what they're actually want. For the reader of the intended pairing shipper as they are seeing the characters they're ships getting 'flirty' with other character that likely their NOTP. Or for the reader of the unintended ship as they're been fed by false hopes that their ships are means to be 'as canon'. I am also talking about constant ship wars at Oshi no Ko with Kana vs Akane btw, I love Kana more so I am mad if she's getting mocked espc by the Akane/Aqua shipper - but I also know that Akane - Aqua relationship is special in their own way even thou not that healthly.
I stopped reading Marionetta because the ship war too (the Sahed fans attacked the Tonny fans really hard) -> this the result of ship wars, this make fans to decides to stop enjoying the series for entirety which is very sad.. It's technically not the author's fault but as the fandom becomes toxic. Of how toxic and poisonous a fandom could be it's another nother to talk about and I won't talk it here.
The (ship, be it intended as well unintended) teasings happen in a lot of things: media, series, books, manga…to fuel the readers to become interested longer (thought only for the ship). It is a common thing nowadays and I don't like it at all.
-> A good story should telling what their own story properly, and shippings should be the spices not the main ingredients. So, a story should be a story based not ships based.
I disliking the ship wars as the pain, hurt, tiringness which could resulting to the fandom become toxic in intense war as pointing out why 'their ship is superior, and other ship is doomed'. This totally unhealthly, both for other part of the fandom espc your NOTP shippers AND YOURSELF as being constantly on edge to proving your ship. Why not taking steps back, letting out a long breath - and enjoys the ship that you like without hurting others happily? You, as the reader (or if the medium of series isn't visual, then watcher or anything else), is always part of the fandom that making up popularity of a certain series. If you are gone as getting tired or getting swept up by the toxicity of ship wars, didn't it hurt to the creator of your favorite series - or your friends at the fandom that you used to be like before ~ as realizing too late that you're gone?
P.S if curious:
As a shipper on multifandom, here characters that I ship on different series - which are heterosexual pairings, and well personally no hate towards LGBTQ+ just if them making NOTP I am simply disliking and avoiding the following pairings. No amount of others' arguments telling me about 'reasons your ship sucks' will ever change my opinions regarding my OTP, and I hope it's understable without seen as too hard headed - I won't bashing any characters that become part of my NOTP. I always respect anyone opinion, but I also hope that respect is a dual-interaction too so it'll become "I respect you, and please respect me too".
OTP stands for 'one true pairing' while NOTP stands for 'not one true pairing' which usually if the character a and character b that making up a pair (or more if polyamory) is paired up with other character else. So I am only limiting a pairing on each work series, but doesn't mean I didn't have more characters that I like to ship. The list of my OTP are the following with consist on various media indeed :

Jodie Starling (Saintemillion) and Shuuichi Akai | Okiya Subaru [Detective Conan | Case Closed]

King Jack’s grief for his dead wife has been holding him back. It’s been years and he still cries every time she’s been brought up and it’s been affecting his kids, especially Gwen, whose a spitting image of her. Gwen feels like a freak of nature for not looking like the rest of her family. Her family considers her normal but the rest of the world says otherwise. She has no awareness of other people who look like her and it greatly impacted her self esteem. It was for the best that she probably doesn’t remember her dad’s hateful relatives, who were probably pushing Jack to remarry what they deemed as “acceptable” as soon as Lilyth was on her death bed. King Jack only has King Leland to rely on and we know what he’s truly like. I really hope King Jack will seek outside help after the invasion is taken care of and heal enough to open up about his late wife.
We can add King Jack to the list of CPC characters who desperately need therapy.

So, y'know how Frederick was originally super bright and happy, before being bullied (and abused apparently :() into being the insecure dumpster fire we know him as today? Well, I have a bit of a hunch that the other two princes where as well, so here are some head cannons for their personalities, along with colors that I think go with them, given Frederick's original personality started as very yellow-ish before shifting to green.
Frederick-
Ok so we acctually saw some of this kid, but we don't acctually know his personality other than being happy and naive. So I head cannon this kid to be adorable (duh) and super bubbly and always bouncing around with his body language. He also has a massive imagination, to the point that he could probably write his own book if he wanted to, and has really good reflexes, as well as sensitivity to patterns in reading, and such is good at picking up symbolism in his more mature books, to the point where he picks up some patters that probably weren't intensional. He went from yellow to green
Lance-
Okay so Lance was kinda like Kaito Momota from Danganronpa if you know him. Lance- always loved fighting, even as a kid, and was never smart, but surprisingly good at reading people and emotions, explaing why he has so many friends. Leeland however taught him not to trust his instincts (what point is there in making them think your a good guy if they know everyone else thinks your evil) he went from. Green to blue
Blain-
Okay, so Blain was definitely the quietest child of the trio, preferring to stand off to the side and observe than to join in (Leeland forced him). Blain was extremely observant in trends, whether visual or otherwise, and was definitely The Smart One of the three. Is if king Leeland wasn't a stupid stupidhead, him and Frederick would have totally read mystery novels (and probably other genres to) together and tried to figure out all the mysteries before the detective did, and he'd listen the whole time while Frederick ranted about the symbolism in his latest obsession. He went from purple to red

How to build and measure Performance Marketing Strategies
Tumblr media
The development of internet technology and digital transformation has affected many aspects of life, ranging from the social life of society (Society 5.0), human needs and behavior (behavior), business process management (BPM), to the implementation of marketing and advertising strategies (advertising).
This makes the marketers or advertisers have an extraordinary ability and authority to manage the digital marketing process (marketing management) in a way as effective and efficient as possible, i.e. with the performance marketing strategy.
Basically, performance marketing combines the concept of paid advertising and brand marketing.
Where the advertiser or advertiser of a business will pay marketing fees to the company or digital marketing platform when the business goal in terms of marketing has been achieved.
For example, when a potential customer clicks on a page on the business website or the company gets closing sales.
If it turns out that it’s so important to the growth of business success, then the question that might arise in your mind is “how to implement the most effective performance marketing strategy?”
What is Performance Marketing?
According to the old site BigCommerce, performance marketing is a marketing and advertising strategy where advertisers or advertisers pay marketing companies, advertising platforms, and/or partnerships or affiliate business when advertisers succeed in achieving a specific marketing campaign strategy (campaign strategy).
Therefore, indirectly this marketing method involves affiliate marketing strategies that are fully driven by metric and business marketing goals.
With affiliate marketing, the marketer can market products (product marketing) and services (services marketing) with the purpose of directing traffic, CTR, and sales mix to other business websites.
In the middle of the development of business digitalization for marketing, performance marketing includes programmatic marketing. Where programmatic marketing automatizes the process of selling and purchasing online business advertising (sales pipeline).
By placing advertising on several channels (multichannel) a little involves human interaction to maximize the ROI of each business asset and marketing campaigns and expand the business reach in targeting customers (market penetration) more efficiently.
That’s why the best performance marketing works with native advertising strategies, instead of traditional marketing and organic marketing.
By the way, advertisers make advertising campaigns for a specific conversion target and only pay for CTR or other conversion actions.
How to Measure Performance Marketing
Based on the basic theoretical explanation above, it is apparent that performance marketing is determined by the total ROI or return on investment on the success of digital marketing.
Where each marketing activity and action will be measured,, and analyzed on the basis of the marketing KPI that has been previously determined.
Thus, marketers can understand and optimize the results of the campaign management campaigns in order to improve the overall performance of the business.
In connection with this, the marketing experts formulate performance optimization tools that can help the campaign process and the collection of data marketing (data mining). The more data is available, the more in the marketing insight is obtained.
Here are some of the main metrics and KPIs that are commonly used in performance marketing so you can have a better understanding of pricing strategies in performance-based marketing methods.
Cost Per Thousand Impression (CPM)
Cost per Thousand Impressions (CPM) is a cost that a marketer or advertiser must pay for every 1000 impressions or digital advertising display on a website.
CPM is usually selected for marketing campaigns that focus on increasing brand awareness. Therefore, CPM does not measure the actions taken by end user as a potential business consumer because it only determines the price for displaying advertising campaigns.
Cost Per Click (CPC)
Cost per click or CPC is a better engagement metric than CPM because CPC shows the price that a marketer or advertiser pays for every time a visitor clicks on an advertisement.
Not far from the concept of pay per click (PPC), a higher CPC means that the conversion value is also high. For example, the luxury car manufacturing brand sets a fairly high CPC. This condition makes the company will target a much smaller audience than high potential customers who tend to buy expensive cars.
Cost Per Action (CPA)
The next performance marketing measurement method is cost per action (CPA) which represents the marketer’s efforts to measure the performance of a campaign.
For example, the audience activity is in conversion (conversion funnel) and becomes sales lead business. Then, select subscription with email newsletter, register or subscribe website, make the purchase of goods, and other actions.
In this marketing strategy, the actions taken by potential customers are considered to be a real and measured result that is important for the development of business marketing growth as well as the best business metrics in the acquisition of customers on a profitable basis.
Lifetime Value (LTV)
As the term means, the lifetime value metric focuses on the lifetime value of the customer that occurs during the customer journey and the relationship or communication with the brand company (brand communication).
LTV refers to the value of the consumer that contributes to the profitability of the business while being a customer. In addition.
LTV also estimates the amount of expenditure expected from the purchased customers. Based on their sustainable activity using advanced methods, such as predictive analytics.
How to Build Performance Marketing Strategy
Well, according to the main topic of this article, let’s discuss one by one how to build and implement performance marketing strategies.
First, before you can measure the success of any campaign, it is important to set the target or goal of its marketing campaign.
Many advertising platforms require you to set a goal before creating a advertising or preparing a campaign that can solve customer pain point.
Because, the target details of the campaign can determine where the advertising will be displayed. Then to whom the advertising is displayed and other factors that are important to achieving success.
After that, do a diversification strategy or determine the type of marketing channels that will be used to spread the share of voice exposure and the scope of the campaign so expanding the business opportunities for success.
Whether it is on affiliate marketing, native ads, or social media platforms, look for channels that specifically target the type of business conversion and where you will most likely find the target audience.
You can start creating a form of advertising that can meet the demand and attract the customer’s attention to the brand business (brand experience).
Of course, the condition is that you must understand the customer (customer acknowledgment) along with the person of the buyer attached to them.

To come to a dialectical conclusion on the clasicide of landlords under Mao Zedong, we must first: (a) understand historical context, (b) understand the popular will during that particular historical moment, (c) understand the material outcomes of the policy, and most importantly, (d) understand the dialectical and materialist foundation, justification, and theory.
Let us fisrt establish the historical context. Classicide ocurred in the late days of the second world war and the infancy of the Peoples Republic. In a roughly 5-7 year span. Predating the communist victory was a 12 year war against Japan, 10+ year civil war (with a break in the middle for the second sino-japanwse war), brief and chaotic rule under the GMD and warlords, followed by the Qing dynasty and beyond. During this time period, the peasantry was the largest and most oppressed class in the country, with minorities such as the Yi and Hui (and most famously, the Tibetan serfs) were entirely enslaved. During thr 1930s, in Shanghai alone, there would be employed body collectors who collected up to 100 dead peasants who had starved or froze to death in the streets. In the rural countryside, landlords held absolute sway over peasants who had to work the land and pay the rent with large proportions of their harvest. Landlords killing peasants for failure to meet quotas or rents was common and unpumished. Landlords raping peasants for rent or not likewise was common and unpunished. Evictions, property seizures, and forfeitures were also exceedingky common and backed by the state. For all intents and purposes, the peasant class was seen as entirely disposable banks of labor and nothing else. The forced selling of children to landlords so a family may survive was also common. The material effect of this millenia old system of oppression is a class full of revolutionary potential and (righteous) justified anger. Fanshen by William Hinton is a good documentary summary of the before and after of a rural peasantry village.
With the communist victory, the CPC put forth a very simple model for reform: assemble a committee of local and communist leaders, take suggestions and proposals from the population which are then put forth to a vote from the population. In many of the northern provinces, where communist bases and reform was more developed than the southern provinces, this process was largely peaceful and orderly. However, in the breadbasket of China, the southern provinces, where landlord control and excesses had been most fierce, the process was not nearly as peaceful. Apprehended landlords, mostly those who continued to try and hold land despite the incoming victory of the communists, were handed to the peasantey based on popular vote and they determined what happened to them. Usually, execution.
The outcome of the purging of the landlords was an egalitarian redistribution of of former landlord holdings to the peasants who actually lived and worked on the land. China at the time had about 500 million people. The landlord class was less than ten percent of the population, holding 70% of all the land. By the end of the land reform campaign, the entire class of landless peasantry was effectively eliminated as landless peasants were now landed.
The materialist and dialectical analysis of the land reform movement is as follows. The landlord class and the peasant class have diametrically opposed interests. The landlords want to maintain as much land as possible while the peasants want as much of the land as possible. There is no compromise solution because inevitably, these diametrically opposed forces will into play and class conflict will begin. If we give each class a 50/50 split, first of all, there would be no peasants to work the landlord's land and in effect, would eliminate the landlord class entirely as this too is a contradiction, but beyond that, the landlords want to get as much land as possible so they will put pressure on the landed peasants to sell or default so they can take it. This is an example of class warfare. Because there exists these antagonistic contradictions, the state exists to mediate class conflict. Before the communist victory, the state was controlled by the bourgeoisie, which included the landlord. This gave them all the power for mediation, allowing them to do whatever they want with no repurcussion, while any protest from peasants are shut down for "violence against property". When the communists put the peasantry in charge of the state, the script was flipped now it was the landlords' turn to eat their own medicine.
Eliminating the bourgeoisie as a class is not a secret communists are trying to hide. It is central to our thesis. By driving out landlords either through reeducation, exile, or killing, the result is rhe same: the destruction of the owning class. The only benefit of the landlord killings (if you want to call it that) is permanently compromising that individual landlord's chance of trying to gain back their power through insurrection, revolt, or other means.
Did excesses happen? Yes. Is killing landlords not ideal? Also, yes. However, we see that the landlord class interest of maintaining as much land as possible comes into conflict. The landlords were willing to rape, murder, enslave, evict, etc. to get more land before communist rule, and they were willing to kill and maim to keep it (hence why there was a civil war!). The contradiction thus could only be solved via violence. Thus, to criticize the landlord class liquidation is equivalent to criticizing the Algerians, or Vietnamese, or African slaves in Haiti and the americas in general as terrorists for fighting back, an opinion which only makes sense if you are not a member of these oppressed groups and classes.
You are, more likely than not, living in a dictatorship of the bourgeoisie. You are, more likely than not, not a member of the bourgeoisie (you work for a wage or salary and don't own things like a company, land, machibery, etc.), but rather a member of the proletariat. However, the ruling class in your country is not your class; it is the bourgeoisie. Therefore, the state has a vested interest in maintaining bouegeoisie rule. To that end, the media, economists, historians, teachers, etc. are groomed and incentivized into upholding bourgeoisie ideology. Thus, the rising of peasants against the bourgeoisie is seen as abhorrent violence, but the mundane violence of eviction, homelessness, starvation, as well as the casual murder, rape, and enslavement of the peasantey is simply seen as the cost of business at best, or entirely ignored or seen as good at worst. Thus, much of the literature on proletariat action is full of lies, exageration, and a focus on the bourgeoisie rather than the average person; the media has a bourgeoise class nature.
Know your class. Know your comrades. Know your class enemies.

Crisis pregnancy centers outnumber abortion clinics | WBEZ Chicago
https://www.wbez.org/stories/crisis-pregnancy-centers-outnumber-abortion-clinics/8a973ba6-2a89-45c2-aa04-5043d4d2804d
In Illinois, it might be common for women to encounter a crisis pregnancy center before an abortion provider because the centers are in far greater supply throughout the state, according to a WBEZ analysis of data provided by CPC Map Project at the University of Georgia and from the Abortion Finder directory.
Overall, there are nearly three times as many crisis pregnancy centers in Illinois than abortion providers, the analysis shows. Among the state’s 102 counties, there are 42 counties with crisis pregnancy centers and no in-person abortion providers. Only 12 counties in Illinois have abortion providers, and 23 of the state’s 36 abortion providers are in Cook or DuPage counties.
Michele Landeau, who runs Hope Clinic, an abortion provider in downstate Granite City, has also seen patients who’ve made prior visits to crisis pregnancy centers. In times of crisis, patients sometimes choose what’s closest, Landeau said. “If I find out that I’m pregnant, unexpectedly, and I Google, you know, abortion near me, and a crisis pregnancy center comes up first, and they’re 15 minutes away. And then an abortion clinic comes up second, and they’re four hours away, I’m gonna go to the crisis pregnancy center, of course.”

Plaid Princes Rebellion!!!
Plaid Princes Rebellions : theory Leland's plan basically hopes that princesses againsts Jack as swooned by his sons for wedding which make interesting question related to LambCat newest ig post - why only plaid princes that complete? Why no Lorena and Jamie??? Those 2 the main characters maan
In nutshell and personal opinion.. I think Lorena role in the story is quite done (she knows that Lance truly cares about her, and from here she should know the reason why CPC came in = Frederick, but after that not much to tell) and Jamie already get his happy ending (ep 163)
Which leaving the 8 characters : https://www.instagram.com/p/C1Sit6HyUqS/?igsh=MTd3bWxiMzdzNXJ2aQ==
GwenDerick reunion is a must as they're protagonist and deuteragonist respectively
Prez as tritagonist of CPC representative is a must as well, especially as in nutshell CPC exposing themselves to plaid and pastel kingdom = what will happen? This club and the members in nutshell, all GwenDerick shippers
Laverne there as LambCat self insert
Leland is the main antagonist, ultimate villain
But why marne there? I am not talking in romantic sense, but in the way of them being the eldest in their respective kingdom - they held highest power of decision as both of the kings unavailable.. With Blaine as the ace of Leland, he likely knows everything about the "stupid" Plan.. And utter the honesty about lies that Leland utter - like what Maria in the imagination tell
Frederick knows how hypocrite his father is - about books especially (if my theory from MEPHISTO fanfic turn out to be true = Frederick knows the inside of his father's office)
Jumps at the middle part where Leland tricking Frederick so he got trapped in prison for weeks
Lance knows about the portrait that made as sickening home visit gift, and that's stolen item
So in conclusion - the rebellions hinted by the princess word, and over analyzing IG post
Here some random screenshoot to enforce:

Note
Do you think Leland praising Frederick in front of Blaine was on purpose to make Blaine resent his brother and be more willing to do anything to stay at the top or not?
Oh absolutely. Throughout the comic, Leland turns everything into a competition when he interacts with his sons. He definitely does it on purpose to "keep them on their toes" or something like that.

"The (New) Communist Party of Canada, (N)CPC, pursues two innately linked objectives:
a) Establish working-class rule in the economic and political spheres of Canada; and
b) Usher in a new, non-colonial, equal and fraternal type of relations between all nations which today remain forcefully and unequally united within the Canadian state.
Neither one of these goals is likely to be achieved in a lasting, meaningful way without the other. Working-class power without national liberation and national equality would have to be built on an illegitimate, coercive basis. National liberation without working-class power would mean a mere reform of Canadian law, or else create powerless statelets that would fall prey to any of the multiple imperialist powers contending for domination and survival in the world today.
The program of the (N)CPC aims to provide a sharp, scientific analysis of current conditions in Canada, a strong overview of the history of people’s struggles and communist party-building in this country and an illuminating way forward that can mobilize and unite all our class’s most dedicated, relentless fighters in the pursuit of a bright socialist future.
This program is a tool for building the future and a weapon for fighting the enemy. It should be taken up, studied, understood, sharpened and further improved by all those who share the two goals outlined above."

If most people in Taiwan do not want to join China, why is it necessary for them to do so? What possible benefit does this have for the working class?
the name of the government that governs locally in Taiwan is called the Republic of China, so "join China" is already nonsense. but you have to change the way you look at class analysis altogether. you're thinking of it as something to apply to individuals but it is intended to apply to whole social classes. for example class analysis may say China was right to let some workers suffer in poor working conditions, because the practical choice was between working in poor conditions vs unemployment. and without the ability to grow the economy the CPC could have been overthrown, which would be disastrous for the Chinese working class (and ultimately the international working class and ultimately humanity). with that in mind, we look at the issue of Taiwan as principally related to Chinese sovereignty NOT the opinions of just the Chinese people living on Taiwan Island. is it right to let the west meddle in any region of China, to convince the people there that they should rebel against the PRC and try to split into an independent state? to me this is obviously not in the interest of the Chinese working class. it would also undermine the PRCs claim to any territory they hold at all, it would be the first step toward balkanization. by appealing to the narrow interests of a minority group that isn't representative of average Chinese opinion, the west can foment separatism and proceed with their ultimate plan to destroy China. we shouldn't go along with it in any way.
