Jaehyun's reason for being most likely to date a foreigner is because he loves them honestly 🤣? He likes the attention and praise he gets ("JAMALLLL" 💀). Jaehyun could also feel more compatible with them. I heard "Idk they just hit differently" help??? He finds them extremely attractive. So the love is mutual lol. Jaehyun is pretty delulu when it comes to his foreign fanbase so he feels more confident dating a foreigner who’s also a poc.

Jungwoo's energy feels more shy? He's the type to stare at someone he'd find attractive and wouldn't want to approach them given his job position and everything. If the opportunity presented itself then yes, Yuta would date a foreigner. I feel it would be more of a fling though. He’s not interested in settling down at the moment. Yuta prefers to see how things unfold naturally and doesn’t date with the intention of a committed relationship. His mindset is like “If I fall in love, cool, if I don’t, that’s cool too “. He’s more free spirited when it comes to love.

Does Mephistopheles regularly beat all of his Cambion children? Or does he just particularly enjoy hurting Raphael? Or does he specifically find himself having to put Raphael in his place more often than the others?

Feel free not to answer if it’s too spoilery. I’m just curious. The Devil family dynamics are fascinating.

There's some indications that Mephistopheles raped so many women that he has like hundreds of cambion sons and has killed most of them. So that's the lore I'm going with, because that's fun for me, the idea that he just has this endless supply of weak (by fiend standards) sons that he can make do his bidding and torment whenever he likes.

I think Raphael's a bit special (like a few of his sons are), in the sense that he did actually genuinely rise to power, he is very intelligent, and he has secured the House of Hope which is strategically a very significant waypoint for Zariel, and therefore affords him more status than a (Ascended pit fiend) cambion would generally have. I would say that of the surviving cambion sons, he was the most powerful, and had been for some time. That along with Raphael's loyalty is the only reason why Mephistopheles deigned to resurrect him in the first place, he hasn't offered that to any of his other sons, who are just like...dead and/or lemures.

I don't think Mephistopheles regularly beats all his children, in fact I think he's as patchy with the concept of fatherhood as he is with all of his projects. But I do think he has a tangible enjoyment from tormenting Raphael, and I think Raphael doesn't do a great deal to discourage him, because it means he often gets away with other activities that like...his father underestimates him for / thinks he's incapable of.

Mephistopheles needs some of what Raphael supplies to him (particularly funds, most fiends don't care a very great deal about gold or wealth or anything like that. All wealth is measured in souls and the acquisition of souls, and they often need wealth to do that, but, only some are personally interested in attaining that wealth. Raphael is very good at securing gold / gems / capital for manipulating greater populations of people, so he therefore directly funds a lot of his father's 'projects' which means for thousands of years, Mephistopheles hasn't had to bother learning how to do that himself. Which makes him more kind of semi-dependent on what Raphael does for him.

He's been betrayed by at least one of his sons before, and very significantly, so I think he never misses an opportunity to both remind Raphael of his place, and get some enjoyment out of what he's doing re: hurting him. But I also think Raphael benefits from Mephistopheles thinking of him as some poetry-obsessed Faerun gadabout and assuming he's not capable of more than that).

Idk I have a lot of thoughts about those two, I do think Raphael is not above using himself as bait for example, to get enough soul coins to essentially rebuild the boundaries of the House of Hope and get his appetite quenched again. I think he also believes Mephistopheles won't come after him, because M is ultimate ADHD archduke - hyperfixated on a project and loses track of things very quickly (like literally, that's canon). I also think M doesn't want to visit Avernus and he doesn't want to lose the House of Hope so he'll probably grumble and kill some cornugons about it once he finds out, and then settle down lol.

— One of my favorite canon facts about Bob is that he REALLY hates emoticons. He mentions it two times: one time in a question, where he refuses to read out loud the category name, that is just an emoticon, and instead just calls it "that. . . thing" or smth, and the other time is in the "Don't be afraid to express your emoticons" Headrush category, where he just straight up tells players to be cautious of people who use emoticons 😭

Either he had a terrible experience with someone who used emoticons. . . Or his old man brain just doesn't understand them. Or both idk.

— I don't know if it's just an Andy Poland thing or not (it's probably is, but still—), but I just really like the way he can change up his voices so quickly. My man can literally go from "uwu im so silly" type of voice to LITERALLY the most brutal and manliest voice imaginable in just a span of a few seconds, and I think that's INCREDIBLE.

If we talk about Bob specifically though, I really like how silly his voice sounds at the end of the round, when he says "bye-bye" or other similar to that lines. It just makes me giggle, okay,,

— There are a lot of lines in the game, where Bob jokes/admits that he feels pretty lonely and/or isolated, which is very interesting, considering that he doesn't seem as a very introverted person or someone who doesn't go outside much.

I don't have any specific speculations on why he is like that, but I think (headcanon, I guess) that it's something that he grow up feeling like and, perhaps, still haven't grown out of it.

— In "None of the Smoke & All of the Cancer", Bob says that he finds smoking to be "sexy". It isn't very clear whether if he meant it as a joke or not, so. Eh.

— I'm pretty sure I've seen someone already make a post about it (I'm not sure though), buuuut it's pretty fascinating to me how little sexual interest Bob shows in women (compare to other hosts in the series, at least) and how little he cares for "mushy" stuff in general, valuing friendship/platonic bonds a lot more.

This probably could stem from what type of game Headrush is, since it's aimed for a younger audience - teens, who probably don't really care about love in that young age. But yeah, just an interesting thing to thinking about while in a shower.

— His relationship with Old Man is pretty weird, because he both shows extreme violence and, yet, somehow, some type of respect towards him? Like, there are moments were he shouts, yells and doesn't mind kicking Old Man for his annoying shenanigans, maybe even having a way easier time with it than other hosts. But then there are a few rare moments, where he actually doesn't mind Old Man at all and would even listen to his stories with a genuine interest.

Of course it's not something completely new to the series, but it is also makes me fairly curious, since I feel like this is the game where we get to see a lot of Old Man's personality and how he influences those around him (in the case of this game (99% of it) - Bob lol)

1. Unfortunately no, I don't have requests open. I can't afford to do art for others for free, and now that I just got my first job I'm gonna be a lot busier than I used to be, so finding the time/motivation to draw is gonna be harder for me to navigate

Also I feel like it defeats the purpose of me having commissions open while also making art catered for others for free, I gotta make money somewhere yknow

And from what I've seen in this community a lot of the requests artists get are for one-off prompts or characters, which just isn't my cup of tea. I can't get invested in a character or a drawing that is just like a one-time thing, if that makes sense?

I don't want that to snowball with me getting flooded with requests from people for random prompts they wanna see drawn out

2. I do! Unfortunately not a whole lot that I draw, my main female oc is Vanessa, and I just love her to bits. Her and Damien are stuck like glue so most of my drawings of her also include her lovely hubby~

If you're wondering about me drawing female weight gain, I'm just not really into that, for a number of reasons, but the main one being my feelings towards the female weight gain community, and how it treats women mostly just as an object for pleasure. As an afab person, it just makes me really uncomfortable how I see women portrayed in the feedism community, since from what I can tell most of the people that create/seek out that kind of content are cishet men just looking to get off.

I know that's not the entire female wg community but it's unfortunately the majority of what I've encountered, and it's just turned me off from the subject completely. There are *very* few times I'll see female weight gain portrayed in a way I can appreciate, and those few are like little gold nuggets that I gotta find by sifting through all the shitty stuff, it's just not worth it for me

It just feels dehumanizing, idk

As a fat person who has always been fat, and who is (unfortunately) still perceived by the general public as female, I've seen first hand the way society treats people like me, the backhanded comments and fatshaming and diet culture, and the horrible things I've been called before.. I see it all too often in the female feedism community, it's just a big no no for me overall

I feel awful with what I am about to say. I try not to make blanket statements about people or assumptions either. But it’s been really hard recently for me not to. I want to try to talk about this to people irl but I don’t want to get called biphobic before I can finish expressing my thoughts and feelings. It’s been very hard for me to trust women who say they’re bisexual recently. I hate being that person. but I’ve been hurt so much by women who say they’re bisexual and then they end up being like “I am actually straight, sorry” or they’re talking to me and entertain the thought of dating me but I find out they have a whole ass bf. I’ve been cheated on by bisexuals, and I know it has absolutely NOTHING to do with them being bisexual and has everything to do with them being a shity person. But each time it was a man. It honestly would’ve been a little bit of a softer blow if it was a women. I’ve come across many bisexual women who cannot conceptualize being with a women long term or they still expect certain heteronormative actions/gestures despite being with a women. Ive heard bisexuals say it’s easier to be with a man socially, but then get upset when lesbians say that’s a privilege.

I know that not all bisexuals are like this, it’s just been hard not to push them all away bc I’ve been hurt and deceived sm by people who say they’re bi. You can’t help but subconsciously put a group of people who all have something in common who’ve hurt you all into the same box. When you’ve been hurt so much by a specific group of people it’s hard to fight to the urge to put them all in the same category.

I really hope my message doesn’t come across malicious to bi ppl. I think bisexual ppl have sm love to offer the world and have an interesting POV to life and society. It’s just hard seeing past the ppl who hurt me and see the good people and their beauty, love, and friendship.

I understand how hard it can be to think logically when you’ve had negative experiences with a group of people, but - as you’ve already said yourself - it’s not every bisexual sapphic who’s like that, generalizing a whole minority isn’t cool.

Idk if this will help (or perhaps the opposite) but I have seen so many cases of self-called lesbians who also cheated on their partner with a guy, so truly we really cannot know if the person is playing with you or not.

I guess - regardless of what the person identifies as - we always have to be careful when dating someone else. I’d say to really get to know the person before you start dating them.

About bi sapphics who don’t want to be with women in long-term relationships: I don’t think there’s really anything we can do about it. Honestly it’s understandable being afraid to be with another woman in a long-term relationship and preferring to date men. But when it comes to this case I feel like it’s way easier to spot the person because they’d probably not be willing to publicly date you.

This might be shitty of me to say but my best advice is to try looking for sapphics who are not in the closet to date, especially if you’ve been through negative experiences like you’ve been through. Try to look for someone who’s out and very public about their sexuality because they’re probably less likely to toy with you and do the things you said.

idk if u ever answered this before but if u cld change nahidas canon design in any way whay wld u do? for me while a big part of sumerus whole deal cld be just skin color and physical features being broihht to represent swana peoples, i think nahidas clothes kinda work but i wish they represented more of either hindi or other cultural influences. my biggest wish is four arms. and a bindi. wouldve been so cool

ohhh man. yeah obviously skin color is a big thing for me, not just in sumeru but in all of genshin... even outside of the Very Obvious Racism, having every single character be the approximate color of milk is just bad character design. even among the things that i think make genshin character design in general not that good skin color is easily the biggest one.

you know i've never seriously considered 4 arms but that would totally rule i want that now. that would fuck so hard. but as for what i would really want to change - outside of skin tone, mostly her clothing, honestly? i tend to really like and go for iranian influences when i make edits to sumeru outfits (though i've found it a little hard to find good trustworthy references online, if anybody knows any please tell me!!). i think traditional iranian women and girls clothing have some really fun and interesting cuts on their dresses that i would really love to see in nahida's design! i also think that being more explicit with iranian dress cuts would feel more like nahida and make her design more representative of sumeru as a whole. i took a couple cracks at this a while back (see second image in post), though disclaimer: it consisted of pretty fast doodles and if i were to do an Actual Redesign i'd want to put a lot more deliberacy into it.

i also just really don't love the dress she has in canon LOL. i don't like the cut, i don't think it has a lot of immediately substantive things to show about sumeru & its culture like the other archons' clothes do, i think it's weirdly short and the way it flares doesn't feel natural to me, and i just! really wish it was different! when her design first leaked, i told a friend that nahida's design felt almost celestial instead of sumeran, and i still feel that way. banger palette though at least there's that. i like the colors. you may notice that even in my nahades piece i made edits to the dress to lay a little more naturally, because i cannot stand it. incredibly tragic that this is the situation for my favorite character and Most Special Girl

I want to emphasize that I am being serious, I am just looking for an advice from someone who was there.

I considered myself a trans girl for 2 years, but I am feeling kind of invalid because I discovered this (I hope) via r/egg_irl and not myself, and trying to make a sense out of my previous experience.

I have a history of wanting to be like a girl and considering myself very girly psychologically since I was 13 and don't think that I was happy happy with being a boy some time before that, but not in early childhood at all. And even then while I liked when, for example, psychological tests showed that I am like a girl in whatever regard, I never had a problem with acknowledging being male when it seemed like an important factor. I think I could even sometimes joke about it. I, however, wanted to differentiate myself from all other boys, but I don't know if for gender reasons.

Physically I also wanted to look like a girl, I was growing my hair out since 14, always disliked my face, body and facial hair and wanted to take low dose HRT to help with everything above and "make myself a sexless elf", as some person on local imageboard from whom I got an idea said. I was also obsessed with "trap" jokes (sorry sisters) in a way that I identified with them (probably, I definitely identified with femboy memes when they appeared though), but I never crossdressed irl. I have complicated relationships with idea of breast growth and SRS, what seems to be the prime factor for most transfems - I am ambivalent about genitals, and think that my confidence would benefit from an A cup, but not more. Still, all of those thoughts are relatively recent.

But even then, I never remember wanting to BE a girl. Being happy when someone accidentally called me a girl - yes, wanting to have intersex condition to not be a man - yes (mere months before egg_irl), but never a proper girl. Maybe it's because I didn't know that I could, maybe it's because the brand of feminism I was taught said that being a girl is constant pain, I don't know, but I am feeling weird because of this.

So like, as someone who was there, does this look like normal egg experience or am I just a tomgirl (who can still benefit from low dose HRT)?

I think a lot of women (trans and cis honestly) relate to the feeling of “the enforced gender role of what a woman is supposed to be kinda sucks so idk if I want to be a woman” but I think the solution is finding womanhood outside of that. Being a woman isn’t pain for me, it’s pretty cool.

As for the genital thing, I’ve got zero interest in srs, and I generally dislike the emphasis put on it by others. For me genitals are totally separate from gender, women can have whatever genitals and it doesn’t make em more or less of women.

However, your most valuable and priceless asset is your self-perception and confidence. Certain ways to enhance these aspects of your life are completely free:

Posture: Standing up straight, getting comfortable with direct eye contact and smiling (short bursts to build up to tension-creating glances), laughing and allowing your personality to show through in conversations, and maintaining open, relaxed body language

Self-talk: Engage in positive self-talk – whether that's through affirmations or simply telling yourself that the other person will love you before entering a room/conversation. Remind yourself that you're worthy and desirable until it becomes your default narrative. This one takes a lot of inner work and some time, but you can get there if you believe you can/let your emotions run their course throughout your journey

He severely underestimates how serious Roman can be when he’s committed to something. When he messes up and gets too handsy with someone else, Roman basically treats him like some rando he’s never met before. The effort of getting back into his good graces makes him reconsider just how careless he is with hitting on anything that moves, at least as long as Roman is in view.

When he really fucks up, figuring Roman’s not there and won’t find out, the effort is almost more than he’s willing to bother with. No one’s ever been worth this much time and consideration, but in this case, the juice is worth the squeeze.

Since they start dating and are inevitably seen together in public, Roman convinces him to tame his hair and upgrade his wardrobe. He cleans up very well in a tux for all the high-profile events Roman goes to.

Wild paparazzi pics are always surfacing, and even wilder stories in gossip mags. They go from being relatively famous to bonafide celebrity status.

First of all, Roman’s busy and has about at least 10 other things he’d rather do at any given time than go to one of these cons. He ends up going, but only because Danielle is also going and he can pretend he’s doing it as a favour to her. In reality, he’s keeping an eye on Kelly’s trifling ass.

He does look out for Danielle a little too, though. He’s going to treat her as if she were one of his best actresses, which means real star treatment. Being seen in the company of Roman Bridger is going to ensure Danielle and Kelly are the main attractions at the con.

As much attention as Kelly and Danielle get, Roman gets the most of it. This means there are a lot of men and women flocking to him, and a lot of them get a little too comfortable.

It was never much of a concern to Kelly in the past with any of his stars/previous partners. This is just the sort of thing you come to expect in his line of business. Everyone wants to sample the merch and he did it often enough himself. But he was trying to be a good boy now and keep his hands to himself, and that meant everyone else had better keep their damn hands to themselves as well.

THANK YOU FOR ASKING ABOUT IRIS I’M TAKING THIS OPPORTUNITY TO TALK ABOUT HER AS MUCH AS I WANT APOLOGIES IN ADVANCE (and apologies for answering late)

I love her so much idk how to describe it. She is everything. She’s such a kind and gentle person, and she cares and loves so much which fits so well with Phoenix. She helped dahlia make the initial plan to steal the diamond and get away from their fucked family, she kept helping her with criminal plans from then on because she just loves her sister even if she wasn’t particularly happy about the path she was starting to go on, she volunteered to get the necklace back for her. You know the necklace full of poison. That dahlia used to (nearly) kill someone. She knew what it was, and still wanted to help her (at her own risk, might I add) because dahlia is and always will be her sister, and if she soiled her own hands to try to get her “off the sinful path” or however she worded it, so be it.

And then Phoenix. I think a lot about how she came to fall for him. Because she can’t have loved him immediately, there must have been a period where she didn’t have any feelings and just wanted the damn necklace, but was unable to get it. Can you imagine ? Realising she was getting attached to this man ? Realising she was actually falling for him, the very last thing that she should do ? I wanna know what this specific period of time was like for her so bad.

And in subject to how she loves— we all know the rest. She knitted that horrible sweater for him, which is by itself insane btw like that takes an enormous amount of time, effort, and money (with how much yarn has to be used). And it looks like a really complicated sweater honestly ! Like it looks quite thick instead of being a simple single layer, and— idk what the right wording would be, but ”doesn’t have holes”-y. It looks really well made. That is absolute smitten behaviour it’s hilarious and adorable

But most importantly, she went against her sister’s wishes, because of how much she ended up loving him. The same sister she loved so much as well. We know she wasn’t really happy with dahlia’s actions at this point, and she wanted to save her from sinning further etc, but as established, that was from a source of love. She knew dahlia could be different in the right environment. She believed in her. But somehow, for some reason, she loved Phoenix enough that, as she says, if she knew dahlia’s plan to kill him- she would have stopped her even if it meant one of their lives

There’s another thing about iris that I love, which is that she’s just as crazy as everyone else. We always joke about every character being insane and she is no exception

I do have thoughts about the decision to have her portrayed so… gentle, specifically in regards to how ace attorney treats women in general. I do think it’s kind of meh that the perfect female love interest (as she is sort of depicted I think, based on how the game ends hinting at her and Phoenix still having feelings for each other) is a “loves others so much she makes herself suffer” character. While her evil twin is an evil woman !! Who hates men and people in general !! And is mean and the opposite of caring !! (I’ve grown to really like dahlia too and to find her fascinating as a character, but I think with the way the game was written and how it portrayed her, you’re meant to dislike her)

But, in my biased purely subjective opinion, she is so fucking amazing and I just love her

And this part of her of caring about others to the point of self sabotage makes her connection with Phoenix so interesting. Because that’s exactly how he is, too. He loves and cares so deeply, and he constantly puts others before himself and places his own self-esteem and self-worth on how much he can help people; especially those he loves, i.e. maya, edgeworth, trucy… even apollo and athena based on how much he looks down on himself for his errors as a mentor in aa5. But of course, also iris. As he denied even after the trial that the woman at the witness stand was her, that she could have killed Doug and said those cruel things to him, and that she could have killed Misty, even after 5 years of not having seen her. Their relationship is built with two people who care so, so deeply, and for whom this amount of devotion they always show to loved ones ended up dooming their relationship to each other. Phoenix couldn’t give up the necklace, iris couldn’t take it away from him. I’m a narumitsu endgame kinda guy, but feenris is so incredibly compelling and narratively interesting I’m so unwell about them

Ahem. This long rant aside. What I mean by “most fandom takes are incorrect” is that !! No !! She is not some evil liar that didn’t give a shit about Phoenix and just cared about her selfish desires !! What the fuck !! And she did not fucking “rape him by deception” holy shit !! Like that’s such an insane thing to say, and shows a lack of understanding of what rape by deception is. ALSO: she is a huge victim of… how shall I call it. Gay shipper misogyny ? Let’s go with that. The phenomenon of people hating the guts of a female character for no reason other than “she gets in-between the two men I ship”. I’m not saying it would be the only reason someone would hate her; if you hate her that’s your business and it’s fine, but I’ve definitely seen people acting like she is wayyy worse than she is, and not so subtly showing what their real problem is is that there’s another character who could be a love interest for Phoenix instead of edgeworth. Tldr people are so mean to her :(

And what I mean by lost potential is that I think she could’ve been a lot more. This ties into the kinda misogynistic writing I touched on earlier. I don’t have a great explanation for this honestly, I just have this feeling she could’ve been a top 10 character if she was given a bit more time and more depth. Like if her fucked up parts like being willing to kill dahlia or herself was shown a bit more idk. Like I said I don’t really know how to explain this part. She should’ve been written more as her own character, a bit less as Girl In Love With Phoenix. Which ties with “not enough canon”

And for underrated, well that’s because no one appreciates her rip
