okay I've given up I'm gonna rant about the blue beetle movie because OH MY GOD

I wanna watch it again but I don't wanna go back to the theater I just wanna buy it already so I can watch it over and over and over

my one complaint. is khaji having a feminine robot voice. because I'm used to young justice where they were just a slightly more murderous sounding jaime which I think is perfect. idk it just feels too much like a marvel movie with the female robot suit. IT WAS BETTER THAN A MARVEL MOVIE THOUGH HAHAHAHA-

(for the record I usually say they/them for khaji bc they are a bug robot thing I don't think they understand or care about human gender but I'm stuck between that and that one venom post where they say venom uses he/him sometimes to match eddie's gender BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE KHAJI WOULD DO THAT 💀💀)

anyway I loved the movie soooooooo much and I love boostle being gay (and wasn't prepared for ted having a wife) so I was worried that ted had a daughter but she was AWESOME I LOVE HER SO MUCH

NEXT this is dumb but I'm too bi for that movie I saw the main couple and went IVHVAJBKSBEJV THEY'RE BOTH SO PRETTY WHAT 😭😭😭 (well it was more like I went yeah the guy who plays jaime (I'm sorry idk any actors) is pretty and then jenny came on and I just. oh no. then they flirted and I was like NO WHAT-

okay I love the family relationships in this movie because they're all so different. I mean you have jenny and her mom who she didn't really know (because she died), then her dad being distant, then her and her aunt constantly hating each other but being too scared to do anything about it. of course they didn't wanna kill each other because ✨lawsuits✨ but they wanted to get rid of each other because victoria was doing horrible things and jenny was getting in her way. then you have jaime's family which is a disaster in the best way possible. I love how we didn't see them that much but could still tell exactly what was going on there. you get that they're all super close (you even get that there's no privacy💀) and they're all like best friends. I feel like his mom should've gotten a bit more characterization, but whatever. I mean her husband died?? and we barely see her???? idk. I just like how drastically different it is from the kords like I think it's cool.

I realized after the movie that. his grandma never saw him transform the first time. and she probably saw the hole in the roof and, knowing her, did not care. then when he comes back they saw khaji attached to him and she was probably filled in, but. we never saw her reaction. I think it was a good decision not to show it, because she'd probably react in some way that mentioned her fighting people in the past and all that.

okay this is another cursed thought but what happened to jenny's motorcycle at the end? she drove it over but then jaime flew her away. did she leave it there and just make him pick her up later to get it? did he go back and fly it to her?? motorcycles are heavy man I don't think that would be fun. did he drive it to her???? did he just leave it there??????? did he fly her everywhere after that??????????? people will guess your secret identity man. also did milagro steal it because that is totally a milagro thing to do-

OH YEAH let's talk about how they all hated jenny when jaime transformed because as funny as that was. guys. she literally told him not to open it. (honestly I feel like it's an insult to khaji's intelligence that they thought they couldn't get out of a fast food box but that's just me.) and I totally get that they hated her because she was a kord and victoria was being horrible but like THEY JUSTIFIED IT AS "YOU DID THIS TO HIM" AND I FEEL LIKE OUT OF EVERY COMPLAINT THEY HAVE WITH HER THAT'S THE WORST ONE TO USE. SHE KINDA GOT JAIME AND MILAGRO FIRED AS WELL although that's also because milagro was breaking rules and jaime's just too good of a person to not yell at victoria. okay so yes the scene where he talked to his dead dad was fine and all like I like it but. PLEASE. THE CGI WAS SO BAD IN THAT ONE PART. like the rest of the movie was fine BUT SERIOUSLY COME ON GUYS but in other news I love that scene because anything that has khaji just. vibing. is the best. and then having jaime accept them and stuff.

I just realized this movie could totally be a queer metaphor because of the whole acceptance theme?? I mean it's not like THE QUEER METAPHOR MOVIE EVER it's more like hey self acceptance. I mean you have to come out to yourself before you come out to others so idk that's just random

anything that has khaji da and jaime being best friends is automatically amazing. so my favorite arc in young justice is the reach arc (because I'm a sucker for possession and it was just totally well done) and my absolute favorite part of the arc + favorite blue beetle moment + possibly favorite part of the whole show??? is when khaji says the "then you haven't learned anything from our time together" line (that jaime says like an episode or so before I think) and every time I rewatch that I'm just like 😭😭😭😭😭 because they're besties your honor (or in love idk that ship isn't my first choice but I don't have a problem with it) and it's so so so good

I was so worried the movie was gonna be bad because I've only seen one recent dc movie (okay it was half of one) and I'm going to be honest I was not engaged at all I was kinda bored (I don't wanna say what movie it was because it's a very very hot take) and I was like oh no what if this movie does it too. nope. I also was really really hoping that they'd actually be like yeah the scarab's name is khaji da AND THEY DID I WAS SO HAPPY

I decided instead of getting my fic done first I'm just now gonna tell y'all the full story about my meeting with Tenoch

AND BUCKLE UP CUS IT'S A LONG ONE 🤠

So how this all started was in the group chat I was told about the fact that Tenoch was gonna be at C2E2 and I was like I WANNA GO SO BADDDDDD IF I GO IMAGINE IF I MEET HIM OR SOMETHING and I decided I wanted to buy tickets but I couldn't afford to. Then one fateful day, my uncle texted me asking if I wanna go to C2E2 with him. For further context, I told him about how much I love Tenoch and his role as Namor and all that since me and him are marvel geeks + he works for marvel. I didn't believe he was being serious at first until HE SENT ME PROOF OF ALL THE TICKETING INFORMATION STUFF. Then asked if I would like to meet Tenoch Huerta. ONCE AGAIN, I THOUGHT THERE'S NO WAY HE'S BEING SERIOUS HE HAS TO BE PLAYING WITH ME BUT NO HE WAS BEING DEAD SERIOUS. So I said yes of course I'd love to.

Then I told the chat I'm going to the con and I was just thinking about what my meeting with him is gonna be like. Then that led to me worrying that he's not gonna like me. The day before i left to Chicago I was having a mental breakdown over that thought + personal things I'm not gonna mention. I couldn't stop crying over it. I was genuinely out here thinking this man is gonna hate me when highly likely that won't happen. Just me being irrational for no reason. But hey it's that mental illness innit 🤩

So I had to get up early in the morning so my uncle can pick me up and go to the airport. We left a day before the con started so we can be there tomorrow on time. I hated the plane ride because heights scare me but at least I took a peaceful nap. This was the first time I been to another state outside of Nevada or California. But it is what it is

Now day 1. Day one did not go so well. Here's how it went down.

So my plan was to wear two outfits for day 1 and 2 and bring my backpack with the picture I wanted him to sign, a letter a friend of mine written for Tenoch, and a kuromi plushie. Now why a kuromi plushie? Why not? I wanted to be different I guess 💀 plus I decided to be all sappy and take a sharpie and write "you're my hero" on the tag. My outfit for day one was a shirt with Namor on it, a black floofy skirt, fishnets, and black combat boots. Because I'm edgy and I wanted to show everyone what I'm about 😭😭 I was having fun for a little bit I was talking to some people there and walking around listening to my music, waiting for Tenoch to get here. Then later I didn't even realize Tenoch got here already 💀 BUT HOT DAMN HE'S EVEN PRETTIER IN PERSON 😳 I WAS LIKE "Y'ALL ARE TELLING ME THIS MAN IS ACTUALLY REAL?" LIKE SHITTTTT

So i went to go get in line to meet him. However, the line was longer than I anticipated and it was kinda hot as hell I was sweating a little. Then I realized I left my backpack in the hotel room and I felt like an idiot. Really was in the autograph line when i had nothing for him to sign that day 😭😭 As the line was moving up, i started to feel anxious. And it was getting worse the more closer I was getting. I was clenching my fists so hard my knuckles were turning white, i couldn't breathe, my heart was beating hella fast, it was getting too much. When it was almost my turn, i felt an anxiety attack going on and I ran out of the line and I'm pretty sure Tenoch saw me run away. I hid away and started crying. My anxiety got the best of me and when I decided to go back in line, there wasn't a line anymore. I was too late. My uncle found me all teary eyed and asked what happened and I explained it all. We left the place and went back to the hotel room and I was so upset with myself because I missed out on my chance of meeting him because of my anxiety. But turns out, on day 2 I have a second chance.

Day 2 went better. Here's what happened

I was feeling more confident for day 2. I didn't forget to bring my backpack this time and I wore a different outfit. I had another namor shirt on (i only have 2 btw) black shorts, thigh high socks, and my busted hello kitty converses. I felt like I dressed a little more casual this day but it's whatever, not the point. This time i didn't feel anxious in line. And i wasn't all the way in the back of the line like last time 😭 When I got closer, I was starting to feel nervous again but I know not to run away this time. Just go for it. Once it was finally my turn, I took a deep breath and went up to him. I could barely make out a "hello" i was nearly speechless. Tenoch smiled at me and said "it's okay, you can do it" and I took another breath again and said hi 🧍🏻‍♀️ I said it's nice to finally meet you and I told him I was the girl who ran away before I got to meet him. AND HE KNOWS. I felt so embarrassed about it. But OMG?? He was so sweet and gentle with me 🥹 he looked at me and said "I'm proud of you for showing up today" and that made me tear up a little. I said thank you and then I remembered was like OH WAIT I have stuff for you!! So i handed him the picture I wanted him to sign, then the letter and then the plushie. I told him to read the tag. When he saw the tag said "you're my hero" he gushed and said aweee 🥹🥹 I said "I'm glad you like it and I'm sorry I'm so shy" and I teared up again but instead of just being teary eyed, I actually cried. Then he got up and hugged me. HIS HUGS WERE SO NICE AND HE SMELLED SO LOVELY LIKE WHAT DID I EVER DO TO DESERVE THIS. I told him thank you for being the amazing human you are and you deserve all the good in the world. I was worried my time was gonna be up but I wanted to just live in the moment for now. I wiped my tears and he tucked my hair behind my ear and said "hey, it's okay. You did good today. I'm proud of you." And I tried to take in a deep breath to hopefully stop my crying and then we went and took our picture together. (I'll post it when I feel like I'm ready to) and before time was up, i asked him for another hug and he hugged me again. His hugs were just warm and comforting.

This is a day I'm going to remember forever.

since OFTM asks are being answered atm, I thought I'd come through with a few questions of my own about this WONDERFUL and LOVELY series because it's that good!

1. ik we're wayyyyyy past it but do rockstar!joel and actress!reader do anything for Valentine's day? have they done things early on the relationship, do they still celebrate now or maybe it's something simple like posting cute photos of each other on their stories??

2. okay this one is a fun one and I know there was an ask about how reader would potentially be a presenter at an award show BUT would she ever host at some point? if so, i definitely think she'd pull it off + she'd probably do some cute promos as well, maybe even do an announcement promo with joel in some way! i think it'd be fun for her if she did + joel and the kids would LOVE it.

3. as reader ever got to work with big name actors/actresses before or does she prefer more indie like things and working with more unknown actors and actresses?

4. idk if it was mentioned at some point but was reader ever pregnant during a project/role she was doing? how was her experience and what was it like? i def think there'd be times when joel visited the set and she was all smiles because "daddy's here! visiting us" haha, it'd be precious!

5. this one is ABSOLUTELY silly but i notice how some celebrities will be at big events or something such as a tennis game or whatever and some of the reactions are SUCH a mood so i feel like if joel and reader attended some type of event like that, their reactions would be so silly and REAL.

last one finally lmaooo, im sorry i just love these two lots but speaking of special events, i think of how sweet and nice it is to imagine joel just watching from a distance as reader is out doing her thing at a premiere or something like the met gala where she looks GORGEOUS and Joel's thinking "wow, there she is! that's my amazing beautiful wife" 🥹🥹🥹 because he's such a supporter of her HELLO and he's just an awe but also, imagine how reader feels whenever she sees joel on stage knowing that a song is being dedicated to her or just watching her husband from a distance knowing that's the person she's married and fell for.

I think at the beginning of their relationship, they definitely go all out for Valentine's Day. Nice hotels, dinners, heartfelt (and expensive) presents, the whole nine yards. I think when Sam and the girls are little, it gets harder to do stuff for Valentine's Day especially when you're bouncing between work, school, and helping your children make "Valentimes" for their classmates. Things calm down just a little and you two will settle for a nice, homemade dinner in your messy kitchen after the kids have gone to bed. Joel will send flowers to you at work and you'll humor him with a silly, giggly strip tease even though you're wearing sweatpants and a shirt with marker stains on it. It's pure, domestic bliss. Once the kids are older and they've been married for a long time, I think they would alternate between elaborate plans and low-key ones. After all, they definitely don't need an excuse to be grossly in love with each other.

I could totally see her hosting an award show! She'd be so busy but having so much fun and she'd recruit all her famous contacts to help her with promotion and what not. On the night of, if Joel's not there, he totally sets up a watch party at home with all of the Miller kids, spouses, and grandkids and cheers you on the whole time. If he is there, the kids are probably there too and help you backstage with awards, setting up different presenters, and keeping you calm. You'd all get dressed up and take nice pictures as a family. I see it being hectic but so rewarding (no pun intended)

I think it's a good mix of both! I have it in my personal canon that she does go on to do some Marvel, Greta Gerwig, Bridgerton type projects that have so much hype (and a huge budget) surrounding them but I also see her taking on some smaller roles from smaller production companies as long as the story is good. In my head, Red Dirt Girl (the movie talked about through much of the main storyline) is a smaller production and smaller actors but they all end up taking OFF after that.

I WAS LITERALLY THINKING ABOUT THIS TODAY GET OUT OF MY HEAD okay so I think with Sam, she is definitely pregnant in the middle of filming something but doesn't realize until she passes out at work or something and she gets taken to the hospital where they find out she's pregnant. They weren't trying but they weren't being careful so it's a little bit of a shock but they adjusted. For the first time in her career, she'd let them hire a stunt double for her and would take it easier than she had in the past. They'd definitely have to change some wardrobe and people would treat her like she's made of glass but it's all manageable. Joel would be the biggest change of pace. He'd been on set before but after they find out they're pregnant, HES THERE EVERYDAY. I think they'd fight about it a little bit just because she feels a little smothered and Joel agrees to back off a little. As she progresses, I think she'd be more okay with him visiting and would poke at her belly and be like, "your dad's here." With the twins, they find out relatively early on because her symptoms are so bad it's literally unavoidable and they try to keep it a secret for as long as possible BUT when she goes back to reshoot a scene where she has to be smoking a cigarette or something, she's like, "..... no." and they're like "we need this for continuity," and she's like "I'm pregnant. With twins." BECAUSE WHAT ELSE ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO SAY. I think she would've worked for longer when she was pregnant with Sam than when she was pregnant with the girls just because of the risks and Miller children are not known for being easy so I definitely think she'd have a harder time with the girls than she did with Sam but everything ends up okay!

It's canon to me that the Millers are a BASEBALL FAMILY it was actually one of the first things I wrote for the One for the Money universe! Joel is partial to the Astros (boo) while she's definitely more of a Cubs/Yankees fan because she lived in New York and did a lot of filming in the Chicago/Midwest area for a time. I think they would be able to compromise and cheer for the Dodgers together but when it comes to their personal teams, they don't play around. Sam also goes on to play baseball professionally so I see them going to baseball games together as a big, happy family. Being an actress, she DEFINITELY wouldn't be able to keep her emotions a secret and would regularly be caught yelling, cheering, and dancing along to whatever song is playing through the stadium. God Bless anyone in the nearest vicinity when the Astros and the Yankee's play each other in the World Series.

I 100% think Joel has these moments all the time at events. I see her off doing her own thing like interviews or individual photos and he's just staring at her like "that's really my wife." He's known to get teary or really affectionate on red carpets, giving photographers everything and more. She tends to do the same thing, especially if he's getting recognized for something, and will get choked up during interviews about him. They're just so in love and proud of each other they make me SICK

davids situation aggravates me too because he literally had interesting and good writing before young avengers like he was a whole character with facets and stuff and he was cool and did shit then he got stuck with the shittily written young avengers comic and has been in leah williams clutches ever since with the godawful writing and the rushed hate crime that happened to him in xfactor and making it mirror something that happened irl and not exploring it with any sensitivity at all

Young avengers fans usually don't even know anything about him😭😭😭😭😭all he gets is awful writing or him and tommy are there for a second to say a joke or make out I'm tired I need them both to be important again expeditiously like davids powers are so cool

I dont have strong opinions on tommy because I dont read that much with him and he seems like only in young avengers stuff which is a shame. but I do think him and david are cute. I actually dont know if I've ever read anything with david cuz I am not really a X-Men girlie. I think one thing that has nerfed him tho is that no one brings him up outside of tommy (on tumblr anyway) which seems like a shame. he is really cool I think he should be on more teams with excellent writers but sadly those are hard to come by these days :( hope him and tommy can get out of the were on young avengers hell.....

Putting on your pajamas and grabbing your stuffed toy, you sit by the window and slowly look up towards the moon. “I know you’re somewhere out there, somewhere far away.” Struggling to control your breathing you continued “I want you-, I want you back” you hug the stuffed toy Wanda gave to you “they probably think i’m crazy but they don’t understand, you’re- you're all I had” you get up and make your way to your bed, grabbing the pillows and setting them aside “i sit by myself” you hug your stuff toy tighter “talking to the moon” your tears start to fall uncontrollably “trying to get to you” you look at her side of the bed “in hopes you're on the other side, talking to me too” you concentrate on your breathing and it becomes even again. “Or am I a fool, who sits alone talking to the moon?” you close your eyes and drift off to a dreamless sleep.

“Hey y/n? It’s time for breakfast” Nat nudged you. She had been very worried about you ever since Wanda’s death three years ago. The team thought you would recover, but three years had passed and you still hadn’t. You rub your eyes, you weren’t a morning person but you decided to let it go, after all you wouldn’t plan on hurting your best friend. “It seems the guys learned their lesson haven’t they?” you get up from your bed. Nat chuckled “I guess they did, it would be a suicide mission for them to try and wake you up so they sent me instead.” “You should go first, i’ll make my breakfast when i’m done” you pointed to the door. When Nat went out, your tears start to stream down on your face once again. “It would have been you who woke me up, Wanda.” Regaining composure you stand up and go into the bathroom, memories of you and Wanda replaying in your head once you enter. Your face drops even further when you remember the time where Wanda bathed you after a really tough mission. After you took a bath, you went out and discovered that the team had finished eating.

“I guess I'll be alone again then” you murmur as you grab a box of cereal and milk from the fridge. You place your cereal in your bowl and slowly start to pour in your milk. “My phone? Where is my phone?” You start looking for it in your pocket when you remember you left it on the table in your room. You head back to your room to retrieve your phone. “You still haven’t changed, malyshka..” the figure near the room whispered. After grabbing your phone you go back to the kitchen. “What-” you almost dropped your belongings as you took in the presence before you. “Why are you- no you’re already-” you stutter trying to find the words to show what you feel- confusion. “Y/n, it’s me” Wanda softly says, reaching out to cup your face. “Pinch me” you bravely requested. The redhead’s nose scrunched in confusion. “What?” You insisted “Do it. If this isn't a dream then i’ll feel it, but… maybe it is a dream..And maybe this time i’ll finally be able to say goodbye- for good” She immediately pinches your cheeks and you hiss at the sting. “Oww- wait.. I felt it. but how you’re dead, wait you were dead” Wanda smiles “i’m not dead y/n, i had to hide.” You nod on, urging her to continue her explanation. “I had to or you will die, they- Hydra told me to or they will have you and- and kill you, please don’t be mad” Instead of feeling sorry, you started to become angry. “What? Why wouldn't I become angry? First you ate my cereal and faked your death for three years. You don’t know how painful it is to have to go through these years without you” you exclaimed, your voice getting higher and higher with tears threatening to spill from your eyes.

Due to the commotion, the whole team decided to go to the kitchen and were dumbfounded to see Wanda. They had so many questions, but they couldn’t ask, not when you were there, back slouching and glassy eyed. “You don’t think this team could have protected me?” you point to the rest of the avengers whose mouths were completely agape with wonder. “You promised me- you promised to stay… forever” you pointed to her chest. “I’m sorry y/n, i realized my mistake-” “you realized it too late” you cut her off abruptly. “I waited for you every single day, sat on the window, trying to get to you, I'm sure you haven’t forgotten that I could track you with our powers, did you? You hid so well.” You grit your teeth but continue. “And you had to wait for three fucking years before coming back?! Screw you” you stomped your way out of the kitchen. “Y/n please-” she begged. “stop it Wanda..” Nat comes forward and pins her. “She hasn't slept well in years, not until yesterday, it’s a big shock to her- and to us that you’re alive and well, she couldn’t function normally after your death. We had to lay her off on missions, and try to take care of her, but as stubborn as she is she wouldn’t let us.” The older woman’s grip on her arms started to lessen. “I understand, it was hard for me too, trying to stay out of her way, dampening my powers to avoid her from recognizing and tracing me” Wanda slouches and sits down on the counter. “Does she like anything new?” She asks. “We don’t know, she’s always in her room unless it's time to eat but even then she finishes fast and locks herself back, the last time I could “talk” to her was after I woke her up and she kicked me hard I had to go to Banner right after” Steve answers. Wanda laughs “she still isn’t a morning person huh.. i guess i’ll take my chances and go to her room then” she was about to make her way to you when Sam interrupts “she’s not in her room, she’s in yours. She has been since your death."

“Hey y/n?” Wanda knocks. “Go away” you scream from inside the room. Remembering that she always had a spare key underneath the mat, she peeked under it, surprised that you hadn’t taken it off,or you just didn’t know about it. She inserts the key and twists the knob. She sees you lying down on her bed, with the stuffed toy she gave you on your first month together. “Y/n.. please let’s talk” she sat down on the bed facing the wall when she heard sniffles. “Y/n?” She faces you and places you on your back. “You’re crying..” she whispers, wiping the tears off of your face. “It’s hard to take in, you know,I.. I spent all of my nights in your room, and right when I feel like I'm finally alright, that I could finally let you go, you appear” you start to cry again but Wanda hugs you and you curl in her arms. “It’s ok now, i’m here y/n.. i won't leave you, i will never leave you anymore” she murmurs, while stroking your hair. “You promise?” You look up at her. She smiles at you and replies “I promise” with a kiss on your forehead.

Here’s my opinion on the movie and this will have spoilers so please tag it with a warning!

1. It was a great movie and I loved it, probably the most re-watchable marvel movie along with homecoming. The nostalgia value, the fan service was done for a purpose and it was great!

2. May’s death scene left me speechless and I was holding my breath. Tom’s acting in that scene is just brilliant! But the saddest scene for me was when happy didn’t recognise him at May’s grave. That really hurt me.

3. Andrew really brought the best, him saving MJ, cracking Tobey’s back, saying “I love you guys” like he was just really the most wholesome Spiderman of the three!

4. THE VILLAINS?? Jamie foxx and willem dafoe? And Alfred Molina? They were so so good returning to roles they did years ago! Willem in the scene telling Peter that he is the one who killed may, so menacing, so so good.

5. Tom? The action, the emotion, the love, he can express everything with his eyes and and face! I’m glad he didn’t have to wear his mask all the time since his identity was already leaked so we got to see him fight without a mask too. I was really blown away by him. This is what a good script can bring out in an actor too!

6. Mj and Ned were definitely given a more important role in the movie. Ned going magic and his lola was great. Zendaya brings zero emotion to mj, like miss Ma’am your boyfriend has twins from another universe be a little shocked? Also why are they revealing that her last name is actually Jones-Watson in this movie?

7. Lastly I wish dr strange had a bigger role than just doing a spell because Tom and Benedict had a great chemistry and their back and forth was really fun to watch.

Also I think they had to edit out a lot of stuff so I think there will be an extended cut and I can’t wait for that!

*SPOILERS FOR SPIDERMAN*

Omg I cried with May's death that whole scene was so heartbreaking his acting was perfect on that and the scene where Happy shows up and sees her dead also kills me, and the fact that he didn't remember Peter breaks my heart too, bc I was genuinely hoping somehow he would, and Andrew was amazing I'm gonna be honest I never paid much attention to his Spiderman but in this movie it made me want to re-watch all of his Spiderman movies, him saying I love you to them 😭, and then that conversation about being amazing, it was perfect, and the villains were just wow, it felt very nostalgic but it didn't feel like they were bringing them back and ruining them in the process with this movie they did such a good job, and also can we just talk about how in the end Ned just walked past Peter and didn't recognize him (obviously) that broke me again

The Help Of A Mother

I’ve had this sitting in my drafts for a while. So I proof read it and decided to post it. This is just a small blurb, I do plan on eventually writing one shots and stuff like that. I’ve been extremely busy so I’m not making any promises when I’m going to be posting again but I’ll try to post as often as I can. And please leave feedback on this piece so I know what I need to improve on in my writing.

"Daddy"

Harry slowly woke up hearing the voice of his daughter calling for him. Harry assumed his daughter was awake from her slumber and wanted to come and cuddle with Harry for a little bit like they always do on the weekends.

When Harry went to reach over to his nightstand where he kept the baby monitor, he was confused why he couldn't feel it. So he finally opened his tired, groggy eyes to realize the baby monitor wasn't there. Harry started to panic a little bit thinking he left it somewhere else besides in his bedroom.

"Daddy!" Harry heard his daughter calling for him again but she sounded way too close, for her to be in her nursery.

Harry rolled over and was met with his baby girl looking back at him.

"Daddy!" Harper chirped and slung her arms around his neck.

"Hey bug," he said in his deep, raspy, sleep-filled voice, while he rubbed Harper's back and gave her a kiss.

After a few minutes of the two cuddling together, one question came to mind for Harry.

"Hey love, how'd you get out of your crib?"

"Nana!" Harper exclaimed.

"Nana's here? Well, how about we get changed and head downstairs to see her?" Harry said as he sat Harper back onto his bed while he slipped on some joggers and a t-shirt.

It all made sense as to why Harper was out of her crib. Harper's only two and hasn't mastered climbing out of her crib, much to Harry's liking. He'd love to keep her in her crib a little while longer because once she goes into a big girl bed, Harper isn't such a little girl anymore.

It also made sense as to why the baby monitor wasn't on his nightstand when Harry woke up. His mom must've came in and took it with her so Harry could get some extra sleep without being disturbed by either his mom or his baby girl.

Once Harry got dressed, he picked up Harper and felt her diaper. It was dry, so he just assumed his mom changed her when she woke up.

Harry and Harper started their adventure downstairs. When Harry took the first step, going down, he could already smell his mom's homemade chocolate chip pancakes.

He remembered on Saturday or Sunday mornings when she'd make him and Gemma these pancakes. They were always their favorite. The pancakes were always a tradition in the Styles household when Gemma and Harry were kids. Anne wanted to continue the tradition with Harper.

Harry and Harper continued down the stairs and into the kitchen. Harry spotted his mom by the stove where she was probably grilling the pancakes.

"Morning mum" Harry greeted while he got out a sippy cup for Harper.

"Morning sleepy head" Anne greeted while she finished grilling that last of the pancakes.

"I thought you could probably use some extra sleep, so I decided to come over and make some breakfast and keep this one busy while you caught up on some sleep," Anne said to Harry as she began plating the food for them.

"You didn't have to mum, but thank you, I really appreciate it. This one has been quite the handful for the past month since she just turned two." Harry joked while setting Harper down in her high chair and handing her, her sippy cup of juice.

"Of course, sweetie. We all need help sometimes, plus you know I'd do anything for this little stinker and you." Anne said while she set down a couple of pancakes, cut up into bite-sized pieces along with some chopped-up strawberries and bananas on Harper's tray.

Anne carried both their plates over to the table where Harper was already munching on her food. They both sat down at the table and joined Harper, and dig into their food as well. Harry was telling his mum about some of the new songs he's writing and just how life is going overall both him and Harper. Anne also shared with him what she's been up to, too since they haven't seen each other for a couple of weeks.

Anne was helping Harry clean up the kitchen and Harper was in the living room finishing her juice and watching "Paw Patrol." The show she's been obsessed with for the past couple of weeks.

Harper walked into the kitchen and pulled on Harry's pant leg. She wanted a cuddle and she wanted it now.

"Hold on bubs, I'm almost done," Harry replied since he was busy washing the dishes.

Harper didn't like that response, so she did what she thought was right in her two-year-old mind. She plopped her diaper-clad bottom on the tiled floor and started crying.

"Daddy!" She sobbed as she made grabby hands at Harry.

Harry wasn't purposely trying to ignore her or anything, he was genuinely busy washing the dishes. Harry gave Harper a talking to before about if he's busy and can't do what she wants, she just needs to be patient. But Harper's only two and is still learning, so Harry's trying to be patient with her to the best of his abilities.

Anne realized what was going on and gave Harry a hand. She stopped drying the pan and set down the towel she was using. She bent down and scooped the crying girl into her arms.

"Hey, Harper. Your okay, shhh." Anne tried her best to console the two-year-old.

Harry finished doing the dishes and decided to heat up some milk. Every time Harper gets upset, one way Harry gets her to calm down is by giving her some warm milk and snuggles.

Anne took Harper out to the living room while Harry finished getting her milk ready. Once it was ready, he walked into the living room where Harper was starting to finally calm down.

When Harry came into view for Harper, she instantly made grabby hands towards him.

Harry of course took her into his arms and sat next to his mum. Harry gave Harper the warm milk while "Paw Patrol," played in the background.

"Thanks again for coming over mum. Don't think she would've calmed down as soon as she did if it wasn't for you." Harry said to his mum, while he rubbed Harper's back in a soothing matter.

"Of course baby. I'd do anything for you and Harper. And sometimes you just need help from your mother." Anne said and gave a small smirk towards Harry.

Harry had always been against getting help from his mum since Harper is his responsibility. He always felt bad when he'd be last minute and need a babysitter, he'd call his mum and of course, she would say yes. I mean that's her only grandchild and she gets to spend some quality time with her, so of course, she would say yes.

Anne is proud of him for thinking like that, but she wished he'd take her help from her when he could really use it.

For the rest of the late morning, the three of them sat on the couch. Harper snuggled in Harry's warm arms, watching the tv. While Harry and Anne sat there and had a quiet conversation and tried not to disturb Harper.

Anne was happy to spend time with her son and grandchild. And Harry was grateful for the help of his mother.

contrary to popular belief - I am actually alive! hi! hello, how are you? I haven't had time to play genshin recently (and i'm going to be honest i actually slightly lost interest for the game ;;-;; but i come back from time to time)

Sorry that it took me so long to reply this time around, it’s been a time! No time, no motivation, the works haha. But mainly no time. But I also am alive! And I’m glad to hear you are too!

As to Genshin, I can understand that, the nature of the game I think makes burnout easily and, as you can see from the way I’ve been branching out in my fic, I’ve also been a bit burnout from it all too, I’ve done a lot of speedrunning events and not playing otherwise. But when I do have bursts of energy for this game I remember how much I love the characters and the story, and it makes me so happy. It’s nice to think that these characters will always be there waiting, even if I can’t devote as much time as I once did to it. Though I do worry sometimes about the fandom sort of puttering out. Then again I’ve always been one for catastrophizing.

And I can understand that! I’ve also had trouble with balancing school and work and frankly not falling off of things accidentally. It’s not fun! But it’ll get easier soon and that’s what counts!

As for what I’ve been up to, well there has been some personal stuff, but otherwise I’ve been alright! Unfortunately my youth orchestra tour was canceled, but I’ve finally gotten the move on some things which is good. I’ve also gotten more into my silly little romance games, which is very fun to be honest. I also started reading more shoujo romance from when I was younger and it’s such a nostalgia trip it’s so fun. I also have been branching out a little bit in terms of history, I’ve been reading more books about ancient Greece recently and it’s really interesting!

I also watched Encanto! I agree it’s really good, I even bought the soundtrack for my phone! Oh speaking of movies, I’ve become obsessed with the movie Cyrano recently. Seriously, I fully recommend checking out the soundtrack. It’s become rather an obsession. And as for superheros, unfortunately my knowledge doesn’t go much farther than listening occasionally to the podcast “Jay and Miles X-Plain the X-Men” but I’m glad you’re enjoying it! That’s really what mattters!

And don’t worry you don’t bore me! I quite like it actually, it’s like the internet equivalent of a pen pal in a way. I only wish I were more on top of things.

As for the question I would very much like to turn into a bird, probably a hawk, though an owl would also be very cool. Fun fact, owls beat their wings very rarely, almost gliding more than flying, and as such it makes them much more silent than most other birds - which obviously is a help when it comes to hunting prey. There’s some YouTube video about it, it’s really interesting.

I love WandaVision and TFATWS but I've come to realize that both shows assume that Team Cap went on their separate lives completely after everything they went through together in Civil War until Infinity War. The Avengers had different dynamics over the years but Team Cap, at least, in my opinion, is found family. This means Clint, Sam, Bucky and Wanda (and maybe Scott too) would keep tabs on each other after being pardoned and going separate ways, even with Steve and Nat gone... ESPECIALLY with Steve and Nat gone.

This is true for Sam and Bucky since we did have TFATWS, although Bucky did cut off communication with Sam for a while. This should be true also for Wanda and Clint, because on top of their history in Age of Ultron and Civil War, they both shared grief for loved ones and even shared a scene in Endgame. I don't think Clint would leave her completely alone because 1. she doesn't have anyone left but her found family which is the rest of Team Cap and 2. Clint understands what it's like to lose everything. He'd be there for her like how Nat was there for him when he lost his family. I also think Sam would also go his way to reach out to Wanda, because Steve was like a big brother or protector to her. And Sam would occasionally check in on Scott Lang and Clint too because he knows Steve would do the same and heart is what they have in common.

My point being, for sure they would catch wind of what was happening to Wanda in New Jersey. If Clint did keep close tabs on Wanda. Sam has government connections too. They would have helped her or attempted to communicate with her if they were busy elsewhere.

I know the shows were meant to focus on the titular characters and introduce new characters, but I wish they would show that they are still somehow connected to each other. They did go through so much together in the past years. Short cameos or even post-credit scenes would suffice so they stay true to character, sequence and connection of the characters. I mean, even fans think Tom Holland should have had a cameo because Peter Parker would have helped Sam, Bucky, John and Sharon in New York since he himself is around the area.

Well of course, we can't fully blame Marvel bc even most of the planned cameos were cut due to restrictions in the production. 🤷🏻‍♀️
