so i'm rereading trc with my friend and we're currently on bllb and i just read chapter 30 and in it blue's asking malory what gansey used to be like before he moved to henrietta and the gansey that malory describes to blue is so different from the gansey she currently knows and i just cant stop thinking about it.
first off, malory describes gansey as "small" as in not just his height but as in gansey was young and it makes sense because at the time gansey was 15 but it just kind of does something to my heart when i think about young, small gansey trying to figure out why he's still alive.
malory then goes on to say, "He was still trying to prove that he hadn't just hallucinated. He was still quite obsessed with the event [his death] itself." gansey first died when he was 10 and to be obsessing over your death for FIVE years trying to convince others but mostly yourself that you didn't make it up that you actually died and not some part of a childs imagination it must've fucked with him so bad???
then malory tells blue exactly how obsessed gansey was with his death and was to the extent that he was always drawing bees and hornets and "Got screaming nightmares over it- he had to get his own place since I couldn't sleep with it [...] Sometimes these fits would happen in the day, too. We'd just be toddling through some riding path in Leicestershire and next thing I knew he'd be on the ground clawing his face like a mental patient." the gansey that blue currently knows doesnt act like that but this was only two years prior its fucking INSANE and it's here blue starts to think about the facade gansey had learned to throw up since he was a kid.
AND IT GETS WORSE SOMEHOW?? earlier in bllb in chapter 3, gansey talks about how he felt like running and how it had been a long time since he had felt that way. at the time it didn't make sense like wdym by that gansey but then back in chapter 30 malory tells blue how gansey just disappeared one day. left most of his bags and left without a word to anyone not even his family who then called malory to ask for gasneys whereabouts. "He picked himself up and moved on so easily, so quickly. He had done it so many times before England, Jane, and it was old hat to him."
it makes blue rethink every conversation she had with gansey previously, similarly to when adam heard gansey's voice of fear in the cave in chapter one where gansey had the panic attack because its around this book where the gangsey start to figure, as blue puts it, "It was more like the Gansey she'd seen was a partial truth."
it's so very easy to pass off ganseys insecurities and his feelings about how he should comfort other people but they shouldn't do the same for him because he's had it the easiest (his words not mine) because he himself skips over it so fast. like he'll mention something and then act like he's never thought or said it, like its something normal which really isnt and then it slowly makes sense that gansey throughout the series, starts to lose that mask (there's multiple masks but thats a conversation for another time) and the readers and the gangsey get to see what the real gansey is like instead of the bulletproof, untouchable gansey they're used to seeing.
the idea of gansey running is insane in a good way because its nothing like the gansey we know, plus paired with the fact about how young gansey has me clawing at the walls because he's just this kid desperate to prove he wasn't hallucinating, trying to find some purpose to his life before he finds it in henrietta. a kid who was still terrified of his death who relived it, screaming every night who still had panic attacks anywhere and everywhere and would end up clawing at himself because there's hornets everywhere. a kid who doesn't stay in one place too long who learns to put on an easy smile to convince everyone okay and gets so good at it that it works and people think that hes normal and okay when he's anything but.
idk pre canon gansey is something that i need to inject into my bloodstream and analyse in a lab.

Helloooo (• ▽ •;). Maybe ST 4 steve Harrington x femreader ? Where steve thinks he looks great flirting with reader but he gets embarrassed when he sees a robin camera recording (because robin was spying on them). Maybe a cute and fluffy ending between steve and reader???.
I know it doesn't make much sense but it seems kind of cute to me and I'm still in love with joe keery 😞💗
I love your beautiful writing. Have a nice night/day. Bay!💗
~🦕
stop because i loveeee this. i’m convinced this happened at some point or another canonically.
Fast Times at Family Video
Tumblr media
summary — steve’s great a flirting. that is, until robin gets involved.
pairing — steve harrington x fem!reader
disclaimer — i do not own stranger things, the characters, or that gif.
warnings — steve harrington thinking he’s the shit
“So, you liked Fast Times?” He asked, strategically leaning against one of the shelves in the narrow aisle. From this angle, she could get a perfect view of his arms.
“Yeah,” she grinned at him, her fingers gently smoothing a patch of her shirt, “It was fun…and sort of stupid. A nice simple watch.”
“Have you seen The Breakfast Club?” He asks, an easy smile on his lips, “It’s a little less lighthearted as Fast Times, but I have a feeling you’ll like it.” He stood up from his relaxed position and bent down a bit, thumbing through the stack of VHS tapes under a shelf labeled ‘Teen Comedies.’ Eventually, he landed on the tape.
“Here you go,” he grinned, handing it to her.
“Rad, thanks,” she smiled back. When she took it from him, their fingers brushed, and the familiar ring of her nervous giggle sounded in his ears just like he hoped it would.
“Anything else you’re looking for?” He stretched as he spoke, his arms coming behind his back. The movement causes his shirt to stretch with him, and the unbuttoned collar of his polo shirt reveals a few of his scruffy chest hairs. She noticed, just like he knew she would.
“Uh, yeah—” Her eyes met his a bit sheepishly, “—I was thinking something scary.”
“Something scary?” Steve repeats, his smile widening, “Sure thing.” He leads her down the aisle and past a few customers scanning the shelves until he eventually lands in the horror section.
“Alright,” he begins, glancing up at down at the shelves, “You have your classics, of course: Psycho, The Exorcist. But, if you want something really scary—” He slips a VHS tape from the shelf, “—I’d go with this.”
The title reads Re-Animator. On the cover, there’s a man in a lab coat holding a syringe of neon liquid. In front of the man is a decapitated head on a pan, and behind him is the rest of the body, reaching out to grab him. She studies it with a smile on her face.
“What do you think?” He asks, waiting for her reaction. He’s impatient, almost nervous. It’s just a movie recommendation, but he so badly wants her to like it.
“Looks scary.” She nods, looking back to him. A wide grin breaks out on his face at that. It’s the perfect opening. Once again, he leans against the shelf, his eyes taking her in with a calculated calmness.
“Y’know, if it seems too scary, I could always watch it with you,” he says nonchalantly, “I have a pretty nice setup at my place, too. Speakers—”
He freezes when he hears a familiar raspy laugh. Though she tries to stifle it, when Steve’s eyes meet the end of a camcorder lens that’s poking through the horror shelf, Robin knows she’s been caught.
“Robin!” Steve exclaims, shoving his hand towards the camera, “What the hell?”
“I wasn’t doing anything,” she protests, though, she can’t help but let another laugh slip, “I just wanted to make sure you were properly helping one of our customers.”
“Were you spying?” His eyes widen even further, and he feels himself flush at the thought.
“I wouldn’t call it spying,” Robin shakes her head, “More like…employee analysis.”
Steve lets out a groan, and when he turns away from Robin and back to the girl he’d been talking with, she’s miraculously still there. She looks a bit nervous, but she also can’t contain the small smile on her lips.
“Hey, Robin.” She waves through the shelf where Robin’s face has replaced the camcorder lens.
“Hey,” Robin replies happily, taking in the VHS tapes in her hand, “Breakfast Club? Haven’t you rented that one like ten times already?”
At this, it’s her turn to be embarrassed. Her eyes widen at Robin’s words, and she spares a quick glance at Steve. Though his cheeks are still dusted a light pink, he looks confused. Her attention quickly switches back to Robin.
“Yeah,” she says softly, “Um, I guess I have.”
“Still a good choice,” Robin gives her a knowing smile, “Well, I gotta motor. I’m gonna go rewatch everything I just recorded. Steve, keep showing off that chest hair for me.”
Before Steve could even think of a reply, Robin is off, scampering down the aisle. He lets out another groan, wiping his face with his hands. His eyes peek out between his fingers.
“You’ve seen Breakfast Club?” He asks, looking at her.
“A couple times,” she responds.
“Why didn’t you say anything?” His brows furrow at her admission, “I could’ve found something you haven’t seen before.”
“Well,” she lets out one of those nervous giggles that’s just music to his ears, “You seemed pretty excited about it. And I don’t mind watching it again.”
Steve looks at her, and all of his cockiness evaporates. For the last few weeks, every time he’d seen her enter the store, he’d been able to put up a flirty front, to make her laugh and smile. But now, he can’t help but feel downright nervous.
“Oh?” He tilts his head at her words, though, he’s regained none of his swagger.
“Yeah,” she responds, “It gave me an excuse to look at your smile.”
He cracks a grin at that, both flattered and flustered. It was easy for him to put on the ‘pretty boy’ act, to talk to girls, to be confident. But at her words, he melts a bit.
“I could’ve just smiled at you anyway,” he shrugs, the wide grin still on his lips.
“I guess you could’ve,” she laughs, “But, I already have the tape. And I wouldn’t mind rewatching it with company.”
“With company?” He repeats, and his grin turns into a downright goofy smile.
“Totally,” she nods, “And, like you said, Re-Animator seems pretty scary. I’d hate to watch it alone.”
“It is pretty scary,” he chuckles.
“If we’re gonna be watching these together, does that mean I get your discount?” She asks, a smile on her lips.
“Is that all you’re interested in? A discount?” He jokes. He’s unable to contain his excitement as he watches her.
“No, but it’s a perk.” She let’s out a soft laugh and grins.
“Well, then,” he says, gently taking the tapes from her hands, “How does Saturday sound?”
“Saturday sounds great,” she replies.
“Sounds great for me to!” Robin interjects, passing by the two with a cart of movies labeled ‘To Be Returned.’
“Robin!” Steve exclaims once more, huffing at the interruption. With a sigh, he turns back to the girl before him and smiles.
“I’ll go ring these up,” he grins, “They’re on me.”
After a moment of shy goodbyes, he returns to the counter and logs the tapes under his account. Free movies were a part of the job, so why not use it? He couldn’t stop smiling as he slipped the tapes under the counter, making sure to take them home when his shift ended.
“Are you abusing company policy?” Robin gasps out dramatically, sliding by him on the ‘To Be Returned’ cart. He shoots her a glare, and she puts her hands up defensively.
“Hey, big man, I come in peace,” she says as she reaches into her pocket, producing a scrap of paper, “Your girl had to go, but asked me to give you this.”
Steve takes it from her hands, eyeing her suspiciously. Though she’s technically not ‘his girl’ yet, he makes no attempt at correcting Robin. He unfolds the paper and smiles when he looks down at it. In rushed handwriting, there’s a number scrawled across the page and a note written underneath:
Page me about Saturday? :)

hi!!!! i need to know your opinion on this but do you think hunter knows he has a crush on willow/what a crush is? and do you think willow has a crush on hunter? i need your huntlow opinions 😌🤌🏼
hi!!! I want you to know I have been looking forward to answering this ask all day 🥰
*slams fists on the table* NOW LET'S DO THIS THING
Now we KNOW that Hunter has a crush on Willow. I mean just look at this boy and tell me he isn't completely smitten. But does HE know? That's a bigger question.
Tumblr media
[ID: a screenshot from the episode "Thanks to Them," showing Hunter wearing his Cosmic Frontier cosplay and smiling and blushing at Willow (out of frame).]
For starters, I believe that Hunter does in fact know what a crush is, at least in the text book sense. He reads a lot, so it would be likely that he has encountered romance in some form through that. We know at least he likes Ruler's Reach, which despite King's edits we know still had some of Luz's influence. Also, fans who know Star Trek have pointed out that the character Hunter's blorbo is a parody of is married to a botanist so there's no way he would miss that.
Since it's common for teens to have one-sides crushes on adults in their lives like teachers or friends' older siblings, I used to head canon that when Hunter was younger he could have had baby crush on Steve or someone (bi hunter rights!) but since in "Thanks to Them" Hunter specifies that he wasn't allowed to interact much with the other scouts I now find that to be unlikely. Willow is most likely his first crush.
As for being AWARE of his crush, let's look at the timeline.
In Labyrinth Runners, Hunter is already showing signs of his crush on Willow though I don't think he is aware of what his feelings mean yet at this point. He blushes at her, he tries to make himself somewhat presentable for her, but he doesn't really know why.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Two screenshots from Labyrinth Runners. In the first, Hunter is blushing while looking straight ahead. The second shows the moment immediately after where Gus confers with who he believes to be Willow while in the background Hunter is seen awkwardly brushing dirt off his cloak.]
But fast forward to Thanks To Them? I think he knows by now. For this reasoning I point to the "Buff Brains" scene.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Two screenshots from Thanks to Them showing the hexsquad minus Luz in their shack. In the first, everyone is cheering and posing triumphantly all except for Hunter who is standing with his arms limply by his sides as he looks at Willow flexing and blushes from his cheeks to his ears. The second image is nearly the same except now Hunter has raised his arms to cheer with the group.]
Hunter doesn't just get distracted by Willow's muscles here, he catches himself getting distracted, which leads to him snapping himself out of it and adding on his awkward "HA HA YEAH" several seconds after everyone else has gone quiet. Hunter here to me seems like he is trying (and failing, bless him) to keep it cool, as opposed to in LR when he made no such attempts, because at that time he wasn't aware he had to. Whether or not he came to this conclusion on his own or had help from Gus or Amity is a question for fan fiction.
Now the next part of your question, does Willow have a crush on Hunter? Absolutely.
But Secretly, you say, how can you be so sure of this when Willow has never blushed at Hunter? Well I'm here to say she doesn't have to, and why? Because of Raeda.
When just looking at Hunter's side of things, or looking at our canon blushy couple lumity, it can be easy to say that only blushes equal crushes, but this isn't always the case.
Enter Raine. Raine does not typically blush at Eda, even when she blushes at them, but no one in the fandom doubts that they are in love with her.
Raine and Willow are actually a really interesting comparison because for the most part they only blush when they are embarrassed. Raine especially blushes when they are on stage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: two screenshots, the first of which is from "I Was A Teenage Abomination" and shows Willow with bright red cheeks as Amity mocks her poor abomination skills. The second is from "Eda's Requiem" and shows Raine looking red and embarrassed after Eda mocked them in front of the BATs.]
The only time I could find Raine blushing at Eda was in this flashback, and they only did it AFTER they were caught being flirty not while they were LITERALLY CARESSING EDA'S HAND suggesting they were more embarrassed about being caught than anything else. And even that blush was nothing compared to how red they get on stage.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: Two screenshots from the flashback in "Eda's Requiem," showing young Eda and Raine sitting on their hilltop. In the first, Raine is shown adjusting the position of Eda's hand on her lute, while in the second Raine has pulled away and is looking to the side awkwardly with a slight blush on their face.]
Willow and Raine will literally be holding the object of their affection in their arms and not blush.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: The first is a screenshot from "King's Tide" and shows Willow smiling softly while carrying a Hunter over her shoulder as she has just caught him in midair. Hunter is blushing but Willow is not. The second is a screenshot from "Eda's Requiem" and shows Raine carrying Eda bridal style while she proudly holds up a glyph. Raine is smiling but not blushing.]
Willow and Raine will BLATANTLY flirt without blushing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: the first is a screenshot from "Thanks to Them" and shows Willow standing in a doorway while winking and pointing at Hunter (out of frame). The second is a screenshot from "Eda's Requiem" and shows Raine reclining while smirking and pointing at Eda (out of frame).]
They also have these fond smiles that are reserved just for the object of their affection.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: the first is a screenshot from "Clouds on the Horizon" the moment after Hunter and Gus have just done their special handshake. Luz looks extremely confused as she looks at them but Willow looks at them with soft eyes and smiles fondly. The second is a screenshot from the flashback of "Eda's Requiem" and shows young Eda and Raine on their hilltop while Eda plays her lute. Raine is leaning their head on their knee and looking at Eda with soft eyes like Willow's and a fond smile on their face.]
Damn, these spot the difference games are getting tough!
And just for fun, let's compare Hunter and Eda.
These two blush early and often.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: The first is a screenshot from "Any Sport in a Storm" from the moment after Willow refers to "Caleb's" next day off. Hunter looks back at her with Flapjack on his shoulder and has a slight blush on his cheeks. The second is from "Them's The Breaks Kids" from the moment after Teen Raine has just done an impressive grudgby move. Teen Eda stands holding the ball with a light blush on her cheeks.]
I mean look at them.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[image ID: the first is a screenshot from "Labyrinth Runners." Willow has pulled Hunter in for a group hug with her and Gus. Hunter is blushing deeply and has a confused and distressed look on his face. The second is a screenshot from "Eda's Requiem" and shows Eda smiles and blushing while Raine extends their hand to her.]
In addition, we know Willow goes completely FERAL when Hunter is in danger.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[ID: two screenshots from "Clouds on the Horizon." The first shows an angry looking Willow, surrounded by vines she has summoned and eyes glowing with green magic and spell circles around her hands. The second shows Willow frantically trying to start the air ship to go after Hunter who she believes has been kidnapped while Amity tries to assist while also telling Willow to slow down.]
Of course, Willow is a protective spirit by nature, but we've never seen her act so rashly to protect her other friends, not even Gus or Luz. Because if you recall, to protect her friends Willow thinks she must be both strong and wise. It would have been wiser to take a minute to come up with a plan to retrieve Hunter before jumping in, it was not so wise to try to commandeer and airship that she has no idea how to fly. This is significant because Willow's emotions are so strong here they are overpowering the part of her that's usually rational and likes to think things through before acting. She cares about Hunter so much.
So in conclusion, Willow definitely likes Hunter back. She at least is more likely to actually be aware of her feelings from early on though, since unlike Hunter she had normal social interactions growing up and is more likely to be familiar with the subject of crushes.
Thanks so much for asking!

What types of MC's do the RO's like the most and what do they dislike the most?
hmmmm to answer this I'm going to go with what the ROs look for in a partner rather than what the MC would be like... if that makes sense──I don't want to make any 'canon' ideals for MCs! (did I answer this right??? I'm second guessing everything today)
Current Nate is tricky because he's not looking for a romance he's looking for one night stands or a fuck buddy. He likes it when people are bold enough to look him in the eye and tell him they want him (he's an egotist!) He's interested in a challenge but not if he has to actively work for it. He won't get with someone who can't keep their mouth shut (about their circumstances, not particularly during the sexy times...) so Nate tends to stray away from overly talkative people or those who can't keep a secret.
Eva is open to all kinds of personalities. She likes trying to get shier people to open up for her──she has no problems taking control of conversations or... situations. She likes playing the game with playful or flirty people, keeping her on her toes interests her. She likes seeing how far someone bold can go before she's the one who can let go and get a little looser/more passive. (she's the ultimate switch I'm telling you now) However, the core through line is she will not be with someone terribly selfish and arrogance gets old fast... mostly because it reminds her of Nate. (don't be like Nate, essentially.)
Mica doesn't particularly enjoy straight-laced or just judgemental people. They are very easy going and very spontaneous so a partner that wouldn't even entertain their plans or judge them for trying something completely random is very off putting. They do prefer more talkative people rather than stoic or quiet/shy people but it's not necessarily a turn off.
Let's be real, Detective Han is... emotionally stunted at best. They don't have time (in their head anyway) for romance so they've never given it a first thought let alone a second one. They find themselves more intrigued by someone who can match them──who won't back down from their morals or beliefs, someone who can challenge them to think and help them understand. Other than that they have no idea what their preferences are! (they don't like the feeling of being clung to... but in a isolationist 'you have to do everything with me and only me' kind of way not a physical way.)
José's hard no is someone who won't/can't get along with their family. Their second (less hard) no is someone who can't respect their autonomy and line of work/way of thinking. They don't have a particular preference over their partners personality or hobbies but they do know they want respect and loyalty. (Though, they must admit it's kind of fun to bounce off of a personality type different to theirs.)
Honestly, Ji Han doesn't know if he has a preference or not──he's usually the one who changes things up to fit the bill for the other player, you know? He can say he doesn't gel well with people who are elitists or those who look down on others just because they can (he's been with a few of them... didn't end that well) and he doesn't even consider people who are morally strung up... on their high horse for example. He bounces well off of shier people because he likes to get reactions from them──though he likes getting reactions from anyone he dates so really if they can't take his teasing well then they're not for him.
Fauve is a bit different. She hasn't gone for people genuinely in a very long time so she's a little rusty in the real feelings department. She likes people who let her be her──independent. He really appreciates it when someone can communicate well, because she needs to be on top of things surrounding emotions and she can't just take over a relationship with someone who won't work with her. (does that make sense? in essence she needs a partner that will let her 'take control' but not of everything. she still needs their involvement, she's not a dictator.) However, she does like it when she gets romantically surprised──randomly but her flowers or suggest going on a date out of the blue. Be involved with her personally not just aesthetically, ya'no?
With Jackson, his hard no is if they are child free/if they don't get alone with Cilly. He will not ever drop his daughter for a potential romance──he comes with 'baggage' he knows, so he won't even entertain people who can't handle it. I think Jackson actually prefers a more quieter partner, not shy per say but maybe calmer? He needs time in a relationship to build up a connection of trust and understanding. That and he's not the most talkative person in the world so holding conversations isn't his strong suit. (That's not to say he wouldn't go for someone louder or talkative, as long as they respected him to be a listener rather than a converser.)
??? is fairly new to this... romance stuff but not nearly as fresh as the detective. Their first, and only, relationship didn't last very long and they didn't really know them all to well (it was a mess and ??? was very hurt by it... itwasadare) they look for someone to trust─or rather someone who has shown ??? they can trust them─which is why they tend to gravitate towards openly kind and warm genuine people. Their ex was really snarky and mean in bad faith so they tend to avoid that like the plague.

I have a question for you :o
Out of your twst faves (or whoever you feel like answering for), what’s the surest way to make them blush, and how do they respond? Who’s the stutter-y type? Who gets defensive? Dismissive? Embarrassed? Or who gets melty and stupid?
Ooooh thank you for your question! I'll pick a few of my faves! Also, I'm putting a cut not because it's super long but because some of these get a little suggestive ahaha...🥰🥰🥰
(also, when I say "you" as if I'm addressing the audience, I mean it in the general sense. Just in case anyone's curious...it's kind of just how I talk)
Floyd - Honestly, it would be so hard to make Floyd blush. It's not really him; he tends to roll with the punches and doesn't have a lot of shame, and he's more likely to be the one making someone else flustered and blushing...in a good or a bad way.
The only thing I can think of is to surprise him. But, it's not gonna work very often and it has to be a pretty big surprise. For example, perhaps going to his basketball game, and after they win he comes up to you grinning ready for a squeeze hug. In that moment, move fast, move sure, grab his jersey and pull him in for a kiss. In front of everyone. When you pull away, you might just see a faint blush and a startled look on his face. And you'll maybe have about 5 seconds to get running before he decides he wants kisses nonstop.
Jade - Jade is very calm and collected most times. Even when he gets surprised (which is a hell of a lot easier to do than it is with Floyd), he doesn't tend to blush. He's pretty resilient and catches onto things quickly...and he honestly has very little shame as well.
I think the way to get Jade to blush would be to encourage and support and share in his interests. Currently, he's the only member of the Mountain Lover's Club, but imagine how he would feel if someone came over and had an application filled out to join, wanting to do club activities like hikes and camping trips together and listen to his every word as he basically info-dumps about the mountain biomes. I think he'd be not only surprised but also really happy, and together those emotions would make him blush a little. But, he'd definitely try to play it off. He'd clear his throat and wax some poetic about how wonderful it is to find a kindred spirit who enjoys the mountains and nature as he does and totally pretend his cheeks aren't pink. Jade likes to have the upper hand, I think, when it comes to emotions and interactions like that.
Azul - In contrast to the two above, Azul would be so easy to make blush. Words of praise. Not just saying "you're so smart" or "you're very successful" etc., no. Azul is used to words praising his actions. You gotta praise *him*. And it needs to be done a certain way. Tell him he's handsome, he'll smile and thank you. Tell him he's the most beautiful creature you've laid eyes on, on land or in sea, and he'll be a MESS.
His face will go bright red and he might stammer out a "thank you", and he'll try to appear nonchalant and go back to work, but it's gonna be so obvious he's flustered. Keep telling him how wonderful he is, how special he is. Eventually he won't be able to even think. He'll try to escape by making an excuse to run away. Shout in front of the entire lounge how much you adore him; guaranteed verbal equivalent of a keysmash.
The other thing that can really make him blush (and something I personally believe the twins do all the time) is to give really suggestive compliments/comments. "That suit looks good on you, Azul. Bet it'd look even better on the floor" = scandalized look and reddened cheeks. "Being a merman, you must be really good at holding your breath" = instant K.O. ehehehe.
Idia - Idia also blushes to words of praise. This is literally canon. The trick is the finesse. He has enough self-doubt and self-loathing to make it that you have to keep pushing until you break past all that. Then? Then, he blushes and stammers and his hair starts turning pink. PINK. I love it so much. Careful, though. If you pile on too much praise, you'll trigger his trap card. Basically, he's a pendulum, and you want him in that middle sweet spot to blush. If you praise too much, his ego gets inflated and then he starts spouting very prideful and egotistical things that make him sound totally self-absorbed.
Outside of canon, I totally believe Idia blushes at physical contact with people other than his brother, Ortho. He tries his best to hide it and he will pull up the hood of his sweater to try and shield himself. The hoodie is his number one defense system.
Crewel - Hello to my favourite NRC professor (and one of my many husbands), Professor Crewel!
I believe Crewel isn't the type to blush very easily, not because he's shameless, but because he's very stoic at times.
But I believe there are definitely things that get him blushing too. He's a designer, works in fashion, he makes clothes. Wear some lingerie he made for you, on a special occasion? Slowly undress in front of him? Yeah, he's gonna blush. But watch out. Because now, he's gonna give on his restraint a little, and he might just pick you up and carry you to the bedroom. Ehehehe.

not to be Valentinoposting again because I'm sure most of you are tired of hearing about this nasty moth man but I was on YouTube and came across a video and like, since Hazbin has been online for so long but is only in its now-finished production recently, a lot of actual canon show lore has been given over livestreams and such, and it can be easy to miss, but--
The whole 'sinners not being able to die unless by an angelic weapon or special circumstances' thing? Can you only imagine how miserable that could be? I mean yeah, it makes sense, Hell is supposed to be a punishment, there are canon implications that Heaven and the angels are actually super rigged and fucked up and that "most" humans go to Hell anyways, but like, for it to be canon that you're stuck there suffering forever?
Reader is in Hell because they killed themself or something and then finally loses it and tries again and realizes "oh god I'm fucking stuck?" and I can only imagine the ensuing depression and panic from that realization
But can you imagine how being under Valentino's thumb makes this so much fucking worse though 😩 you're forever stuck at whatever age you died at and you can't overdose or anything so you're basically forever young and cute for him to play with. Can you imagine just being at your wits end and downing a bottle of sleeping pills and leaving a note behind and you just, pop back up again to see your employer standing there with your note crumpled up in his hands, absolutely furious because, he knows you were fine (besides whatever awful effects the resurrection and the overdose has) but it's the fact you tried to 'run away from him', that he was sitting here maybe catching some feelings for you and you've 'betrayed' him, that you were going to LEAVE
But I mentioned before how he would get super mad if he found out Reader has another job but like, really, could you imagine, going to serve him a drink and everything is fine and suddenly he grabs your wrist "what the fuck is this" because your hands are calloused and cracking and you've got little scratches and cuts. But even more than that, imagine a scenario where you're not even doing anything wrong, and you're out on the town with Angel one day and you're waiting outside a store getting some fresh air when someone behind you asks "you Val's girl?" And when you turn around to answer, BAM, you're getting jumped by multiple guys who absolutely beat your ass, and before Angel can come and rescue you, you're being grabbed by your hair "tell your boss Big Donny says to actually fucking show up for the meeting next time" or some shit like that. You're the unlucky little messenger caught between Valentino and another gangster's dispute, and fast forward to you having no choice but to go up to Valentino in sniffles to give him his message and he just looks furious and you're worried he's going to blame you when he just grabs your chin and starts examining your face and growling about all of this could SCAR. Don't these punks know how hard he's working to keep you in mint condition?
I can also see that if one of those punks happened to, say, knock one of your teeth out, that eventually you find yourself being dragged along to a dentist and before you really know what's happening, you have that same iconic gold cap that both Valentino and Angel sport, and you just know from then on that a certain Overlord all but wants to put you on a keychain and carry you around because, not only does he need to make sure you stay bruise and blemish free, not getting yourself up to any potential bullshit, or worse, cheating on him, but also because, now, every time you look at him and flash a smile or give a little laugh, there's that tooth, a roundabout mark of his ownership, sitting there anchored in your mouth, forever

I return here after having done the Benoit questline in Genshin. Me and Venus were discussing this some days ago, and they posed an interesting observation.
( SPOILERS FOR THE LEROY: DYING FLASH QUESTLINE )
Long story short, Benoit was, and still is, a piece of shit. He sells his daughter, Autumn, not once, but two times in arranged marriages to amass a fortune and get himself a cozy, big house in the court of Fontaine- the second time, Autumn has a daughter from the husband, who abused her heavily. She murdered him and entrusted her daughter to her father Benoit- only for him to refuse to serve as a witness on her behalf. She is then arrested and sent to the Fortress.
After that, as if that was not enough in the list of shitty actions, he also sold Autumn's daughter to a rich family, and used the child support he received from them on himself. Tl;dr is that in both endings he gets his just karma. I'm not at all biased towards this NPC and I absolutely did not click the 'I'll keep quiet and y'all can kill Benoit's ass' option so fast I almost dropped my phone. Noooooo...
Now, a particular point that I want to focus on is Autumn's escape from the Fortress.
It's canonically stated that she manages to escape from Meropide- which I imagine isn't an easy feat, due to the high surveillance of the place, both inside and outside. A girl who has a goal so big, that dreamed of revenge, wouldn't have been able to adapt to the Fortress enough to ''forget her past life'', as Meropide preaches. She could have also escaped with Athos, a friend posing as her husband. Wriothesley knows every single inmate of the Fortress, too.
A girl who has been sold like livestock, who wishes to kill her father for the evil he has done to her...
There's the possibility that he had a talk with her, at some point. That in no way she could forget the profound hatred for her father, who betrayed her in every possible sense and sold her like cattle, putting her at the mercy of people she didn't loved. She could have told this all to Wriothesley in front of a cup of tea, and he would have been quiet for a time- reminded Autumn that humans have deep-seated, dark instincts, and the call for revenge is a strong concotion to drink daily. It poisons every chance of starting anew, seeps into the cracks even as they try to build a new life down here. There's nothing he can do or say to make this better- it's up to her to find her path, now.
How she has replied, and how their talk has continues or stopped, nobody knows about.
However, I am a firm believer that Autumn didn't simply had a stroke of luck in fleeing Meropide.
Wriothesley didn't put an hand in to aid her escape- that's not his job, and it'd go against his duty as the administrator of the Fortress. But let's say that he, perhaps, turned a blind eye to her and Athos's disappearence-
And simply pretended to be deaf if he heard the group of friends that she made down here whisper about how they were happy that she could act on her revenge.

For post canons I suppose I can share one of my favorite post-fontaine story mems.
My assesment for becoming a Harbinger. It was a few years after fontaines canon. I think Traveler was in snezhnaya at the time, though I can't say if it was during its arc or after.
Harbinger assesments were part of the Fatuis annual gathering to test the harbingers, adjust rankings within, ect. Which meant Lynette and I got to fight as many Harbingers as we could get through. I remember details about each fight we faced, but One of them was my favorite.
My fight with Tartaglia. Now my Fontaine Arc was rather divergent, Tartaglia was handled differently, and we had gotten into a rather abusive relationship during his months there. Tartaglia of course denied it for years, and I have no memory of him ever coming to his senses about it, even after Aether stopped speaking with him.
Needless to say I used our required fight to get some much craved revenge. While even years later of no contact, he was still so angry, and thought he could finally "shut me up". Though I suppose I did decimate his reputation by being open about it ;p Even got him banned from returning to Fontaine by the Fatui. (the Fatui informed the court that should Tartaglia be seen he is to be sent back to Snezhnaya immediately, your boyfriend being the head of meropide certainly helped in ensuring fontaine complied with the request.)
Tartaglia was so blinded with rage during our battle that he gave up all his advantages inorder to go straight to his strongest form, foul legacy. And doing so was his downfall, as he lost all his movement and speed advantage over me, allowing me to get good range and just absolutely decimate him. It's surprisingly easy to overwhelm foul legacy with attacks too fast for the heavy form to retaliate against.
I did the other Harbingers a favor by putting him out of commision for a few days according to Father. He would apparently beg every other harbinger to fight until they taped his mouth shut every year.
I still think its funny that I was so ready to finally give him a taste of his own medicine that I completely forgot that Lynette was supposed to be fighting with me (as she counted as part of my ability, like dottores clones, or sandrones primary puppet).
Though Pierro should be grateful I forgot about that, or else he'd have more harbingers to replace. I could keep myself from killing him, but nobody stops Lynette when she wants to kill. Pierro just seemed very confused when Father and I mentioned that to him.
The other fights were all realy fun- Lynette being allowed to go all out is truly a terrifying sight. With the speed she has you'd think her vision were electro. Ever seen a woman of her stature cut through over a foot of solid metal before you could blink? She nearly distracted me in that fight when she did that- I know I was technically stronger than her, but I didnt take "you're allowed to kill eachother" as an invitation. (Sorry that she almost killed you btw Sandrone.)
And yet despite Lynettes terrifying speed- You would never think it. But Pulcinella? Even faster. That fight was over before we could really even get started. No Old Man should be allowed to be That Fast I swear. So of course, being defeated by Harbinger no.5, We were placed in seat 6. Ofc I held the title officially, and Lynette was just my primary assistant, but we were treated as a duo of harbingers by everyone anyway, even though I was the only one who got the big Harbinger jacket >:)
I don't think I'll ever remember future assesments, as my initiation is obviously the most important one. But I wouldn't mind getting more memories of fighting Tartaglia during them. Because the one in this timeline certainly deserved it.
While I'm here of course. Thank You, Pierro. For making sure I was comfortable. I get the feeling the other harbingers hated Tartaglia enough they wanted an excuse to remove him, and just didnt want to deal with the headache of removing him themselves- He was more trouble than he was worth after Fontaine if my hunch is right (truly a downside of delusions, hm?) And even if your kindness was only because of that, it is still very much appreciated.

since you did a 2p version.. 1p liechtenstein alphabet if possible? don’t stress on it though!
Usual disclaimers: I see her as around my age, 18, since she has no canon age afaik, I'm not writing nsfvv of minors. Read more is here so people don’t accidentally read this kind of content without wanting to.
A - Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
• Immediately cuddles up to them, she's super affectionate with them, a lot of compliments and affection are to be expected with her
B - Body part (Their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
• She loves her smile, everyone always compliments her on how cute it is so she smiles whenever she can
• She loves all of them, there’s no favourite parts because everything about them is equally as amazing to her
C - Cum (Anything to do with cum, basically)
• She doesn’t really mind where her partner cums, she’d just prefer it to be away from her face because she doesn’t want to risk it getting in her hair
D - Dirty secret (Pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
• Got caught watching porn once and never recovered, hasn’t touched it since because she’s mortified
E - Experience (How experienced are they? Do they know what they’re doing?)
• Barely experienced, but she’s not afraid to admit that fact either
F - Favorite position (This goes without saying)
• Cuddle fucking is most definitely her favourite, it allows her to be close to her parter
G - Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment? Are they humorous? Etc.)
• She’s mostly just very soft and sweet, not really goofy or serious at all
H - Hair (How well groomed are they? Does the carpet match the drapes? Etc.)
• She has a thin strip (landing strip? I. Don’t know what it’s called.) but she shaved other than that, it’s the same colour as her hair
I - Intimacy (How are they during the moment? The romantic aspect)
• She’s very intimate, she’s the sweetest person ever and that doesn’t stop when it comes to the bedroom
J - Jack off (Masturbation headcanon)
• She usually doesn’t, unless she’s really horny and doesn’t have any other way to deal with it
K - Kink (One or more of their kinks)
• Praise (giving, recieving)
• Overstimulation (she’s very easy to overstimulate)
• Creampies
L - Location (Favorite places to do the do)
• Her partner’s room, it makes the most sense to her to go there, she’s not against fucking in their living room though
M - Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
• Neck kisses are her weak spot, she absolutely loves them
N - No (Something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
• Anything with either of them being hurt, just the idea freaks her out
O - Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
• Surprisingly really good, despite what most people would expect. She prefers to receive but she’ll always return the favour to them.
P - Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? Etc.)
• Slow and sensual is her preference
Q - Quickie (Their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
• Doesn’t like them, she doesn’t understand the appeal, she prefers to take her time with her partner
R - Risk (Are they game to experiment? Do they take risks? Etc.)
• Risks are a hard no and she doesn’t really like experimenting, she’s happy with what she likes even if it’s vanilla to other people
S - Stamina (How many rounds can they go for? How long do they last?)
• Maybe two rounds and she’s overstimulated, doesn’t mind being pushed past that though. She cums pretty fast, much to her own embarrassment, maybe 6 minutes.
T - Toys (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
• She doesn’t own any, she’s like to have one but she’s too mortified at the idea of someone else finding it
U - Unfair (How much they like to tease)
• She doesn’t tease at all, it does nothing for her and she likes pleasing her partner more
V - Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
• She’s quite loud, moaning and whimpering is very common with her, along with being very vocal with praising
W - Wild card (A random headcanon for the character)
• Her chest is extremely sensitive, if someone even accidentally brushes against her chest then she has to go off to a bathroom to cool herself down
X - X-ray (Let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
As per usual for the hetawomen, cup size because I still have no idea how to describe a vagina :)
• A cup, she’s pretty insecure about it
Y - Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
• It’s not that high, she mostly just sees it as a way to be closer to her partner so it’s more whenever they feel like it
Z - Zzz (How quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
• She’ll only fall asleep if she’s cuddled up to them, otherwise she’ll go on about her day and sleep later that night

I noticed in a tag you said you had vampire Alex thoughts.
Could we hear them?
yes. yes you can. answering this days after you sent it, but thats because i had too many thoughts to properly pin down, and i wanted to be able to actually list some headcanons :>
so i have two different sort of thoughts for this, one being in a post canon setting that i've been roleplaying and am probably going to try and convert into a fanfiction format which i would post, so i can say more about that one later. but in this post i'm gonna talk about my other concept, which takes place during college in a pre-canon/alternate universe setting.
cw for animal death, violence, general vampire and canon typical stuff
alex getting turned was essentially him being a failed midnight snack. he's leaving a party that involved some of his cast and crew, he might be a little drunk and so he makes for easy prey. as alex is passing an especially dark part of the road, he get's pounced on by some hungry vamp, immediately starts freaking out, because even though alex likes horror this is still a bit much for him with no warning. he should have been dead meat, but the vampire gets attacked by something (or someone) else, giving alex the perfect chance to flee. i'm using twilight logic here too for the turning, so when his attacker becomes the attacked, some vampire blood falls into his open neck wound, and thats what kickstarts his turning.
after that, alex is holing up in his room for a few days, sick and exhausted and hurting and so so hungry, but unable to keep any food down, his body practically repelling it. at some point, he gets this urge to go into the woods, and i have this image in my head of him going completely radio silent to everyone, just off in the forest for WEEKS. no on hears from him at all, which is so unlike alex, because even though he can be bitchy sometimes, he is fiercely loyal to his friends and would never just up and disappear like this. in reality though, alex doesn't even feel like alex anymore. he's a new vampire, doesn't even know fully what's happening to him, and is inadvertently starving himself to death. he's delirious, 90% out of his mind. all the humanity gone from his eyes, just over dilated pupils and blood red irises, upper and lower canines that are too big for his mouth now, at least an inch long that poke out when he closes his lips. alex doesn't know how to hunt, doesn't know how to correctly feed, just knows he's desperate and hysterical with hunger, racing through the woods at night like an animal, holing up in the hollows of trees during the day, when he really does seem to become an animal. after all, the sun feels like fire now, sets his skin ablaze, smoke and all, and if he's human sized, he's too big to hide. so figuring out that he could shape shift into a bat was sort of accidental, but now it's what he used to protect himself from the daylight.
he catches squirrels and rabbits and mice and drains them dead, unable to stop himself from feeding in time for the small animals to survive. it tastes like trash, like the worst fast food he's ever had, and it might hold him over for a few hours, but after that, he's just as insatiable.
eventually, he would regain enough sense briefly to find one of his friends and drop to his knees begging for help, and thus begins his friends routinely allowing him to snack on them, occasionally letting him have a full meal. that stops being a thing when he finally tries tim's blood, because something about it is so different from brian and jay's human blood. something indescribably more... wild about it. aka, tim is a werewolf, and werewolf blood is even more delicious than plain human blood, and tim's wolf self was what saved alex from that vampire when he got turned, and then they fall in love later <3
i really like this au, and would be super up for talking more about it if anyone wants to hehe

Okay, bitches, I warned you. You better be firmly gripping your butts or long gone, it's Team Chaotix Point and Click rant time.
Now, let's be perfectly clear: I don't actually want Sonic Team to make a point and click adventure game. If one was announced tomorrow I'd be VERY scared. Despite the simplicity of the mechanics in the name this is a complicated genre to master. I'd feel better if Sonic Team reached out to someone with past experience for assistance. Like Double Fine (run by Tim Schafer from LucasArts), or Skunkape (A lot of the early TellTale guys who worked on the Sam and Max games), or even the man, the myth, the legend Ron Gilbert himself (he made Monkey Island, the objectively best point and click ever made.) to give a few examples. I'm not saying Sonic Team's bad at game design, I'm saying making the "gotta go fast" games and making the "rub everything in your pockets on everyone you can talk to until something happens" games are two very different skillsets and I wouldn't expect a company that does one to be able to pick up the other and do it flawlessly.
Alright, we all on the same page? Cool, let's continue.
Now, here's step #1 to making a good Sonic the Hedgehog Point and Click Adventure Game: LEAVE THE SPIKY BLUE RAT THE FUCK OUT OF THIS!!! I DON'T WANT TO BE PLAYING AS HIM, I DON'T WANT TO GO ON A FETCH QUEST FOR HIM, GET HIM THE FUCK OUT OF HERE!!!
Sonic the Hedgehog characteristically does not work in a point and click. Slowly wandering around an environment examining every detail and talking to everyone about every possible point of discussion is NOT how he rolls. And waiting around for you to do something for him before he'll help you is also not in character AT ALL for him. Luckily, he's easy to get rid of. Just load him and Eggman into a catapult and launch them somewhere else to go fight. Bonus points if what they're up to is a mainline Sonic game you also release, because that's always fun when there's in game hints that two games canonically happened at the same time.
So... Why do Team Chaotix work? The fact that they're detectives makes it make sense they're acting like a point and click protagonist. Examining the surroundings in great detail? They're looking for clues! Speaking to everyone around at great length? Questioning witnesses and suspects! Picking up everything that isn't nailed down? Collecting evidence! The Nancy Drew point and click adventure games exist for a reason: THIS GENRE WORKS REALLY WELL FOR DETECTIVE TYPES.
And I fully insist we play as Team Chaotix. Gimme all three of them! Trust me, having Vector, Espio, AND Charmy playable at any time opens the door to SO MANY fun puzzles! We can do a combined Day of the Tentacle/Sam and Max method of having three protagonists. The two you aren't playing as are roaming around the scene with you, giving you the freedom to talk to them whenever you want (Sam and Max), but you swap between them at any time with buttons in your inventory (Day of the Tentacle).
Why would we want to do this? Vector, Espio, and Charmy have canonically established skillsets that could be utilized for some unique puzzles:
-Vector is quite strong. If you encounter an item you need to get past, but Espio and Charmy cannot move it, Vector can move it.
-Espio can turn invisible. If you need to get in or out without being seen, Espio can do it.
-Charmy can fly, and is quite small. He can reach high areas and fit into small gaps.
Also, if we borrow the dialogue mechanics from TellTale Season 1 and 2 of Sam and Max (where Sam and Max each had their own dialogue choices you could pick from), we can set up mechanics for each detective in dialogue puzzles.
-Vector's a big, intimidating guy. Some of his dialogue might get a bit more threatening, because maybe the suspect'll talk if you scare the pants off of them.
-Espio is a straight shooter. I wouldn't necessarily call him the *nicest* of the three, but he's the most likely to be the direct and blunt one. Some people need to hear it how it is.
-And Charmy's a little kid. He can get irritating, he KNOWS he can get irritating, some of his dialogue options would be him cranking it up to 11 to see if he can get the suspect really mad and confess to something they shouldn't while telling him off.
Now, I'm gonna give you guys what the opening of this hypothetical game might look like. By the time this opening segment would end, we're gonna establish the following:
-How the controls work
-How inventory works
-How swapping between the Chaotix works
-How dialogue works
-The concept that each Chaotix member has a special ability that can be used for puzzle solving.
Ready, whoever stuck around this long? Let's go:
The scene opens on a news broadcast. The news anchor is reporting on whatever latest Sonic vs Eggman fight is occurring, we slowly pan back, and it's being played on a crappy TV set. We slowly turn, we're in the Chaotix's office. We pass Espio meditating in the corner, and come upon Vector, who is snoring away in his desk chair.
The phone rings, startling Vector awake, who loudly knocks a bunch of stuff over retrieving it before the person hangs up.
"Chaotix Detective Agency! Vector speaking! ...Ah, Miss Vanilla, what can I do for you?" We can't hear Vanilla, but Vector looks alarmed by whatever it is she says.
"Don't worry ma'am, we'll be over right away!" He hangs up.
"What's going on?" Charmy asks curiously.
"Miss Vanilla needs us over at her place right away! Where's Espio?"
"He's over there." Charmy points. Espio is still mediating, and he hasn't moved. Vector crosses his arms.
"We can't wait for him to wake up! Charmy, go fetch the pepper grinder!" Charmy salutes.
We are now in control of Charmy. Talking to Vector will just repeat the "Go get the pepper grinder!" instructions. You can interact with Espio if you want, a thorough game would give you a couple different moments of Charmy poking and prodding him before the comment's made that he won't budge when he's in deep meditation like this. There should also be lots of stuff around the office to interact with (including a picture of Mighty and Ray tucked away somewhere for the more detail oriented players to find! Interacting with it will make Charmy comment about it.), but you're supposed to leave the room and head into the kitchen.
There's not much in here. Opening the cabinets will eventually reveal the pepper grinder, which Charmy will automatically grab. It will now be in your inventory. Head back into the office.
"Great! Gimme the pepper grinder!" Charmy hands it over.
"Now step aside!"
The pepper grinder is gone, and there is now a picture of Vector in the inventory. Clicking on it will switch you to being in control of Vector. The picture is now a picture of Charmy, AND the pepper grinder is back in your inventory (this will be the only time an item will need to be passed between the Chaotix like this. They will have a shared inventory from this point further because TRUST ME WE DON'T WANT TO KEEP TRACK OF WHO HAS WHAT THAT GETS ANNOYING AND COULD POTENTIALLY RENDER THE GAME UNWINNABLE IF WE LOSE ACCESS TO SOMEONE AND THE STUFF GOES WITH THEM!)
Drag the pepper grinder onto Espio.
Vector cranks the pepper grinder over Espio's head, black flecks dropping onto his face. Eventually the chameleon sneezes.
"I keep telling you guys to buy an alarm clock!" He complains as he climbs to his feet.
"Miss Vanilla needs us at her place right away! Let's go, boys!"
We are now free to leave the office. Leaving will give us a map of all the areas we will go to during the game. Only Vanilla's house is visible and labelled at this time, but this map would get filled in as we access new locations.
However, the Chaotix get stopped halfway there by the road blocked off by barricades and a guy standing guard at the opening in the barricades.
"Sorry, fellas, I can't let you through. Active construction site!" He announces.
"But this is the only way to our destination!" Vector complains.
"Yeah, let us through!" Charmy demands.
"No dice. Take your little bee there, and buzz off!"
A couple different things should become obvious as you talk to this guy as Vector and/or Charmy:
-He's only going to move if the bell behind him is rung, as that's the signal to go take his break.
-He's not scared of Vector. If he tries to intimidate him, he's gonna calmly remark he's getting paid to stand here and tell people not to enter, so he doesn't care what Vector says or does to him.
-He has kids, so Charmy's antics don't get to him.
-He has not noticed Espio's with them.
Assuming you exhausted all Vector and Charmy dialogue options, you'd end up on Espio's list eventually. It doesn't matter what you pick first, the guy will interrupt you regardless.
"You scared me!" He complains "I didn't notice you were there at all! You're like a ninja!"
The construction worker shoots about a foot into the air the moment Espio speaks up.
"I AM a ninja." Espio crosses his arms in irritation.
None of Espio's dialogue options reveal any new information, but it should be obvious by this point what needs to be done. (If it's not, don't worry, leaving conversation with the construction worker and talking to any of the Chaotix members will prompt to suggest Espio use his ninja skills to sneak over to the bell.)
Once you leave the conversation with the construction worker and regain access to your inventory, there will now be a picture of Espio in it. Click on it to become Espio, and then click on the bell.
Vector and Charmy will huddle up to block the construction worker's view of Espio as he turns invisible. He then hops the barricade, goes over to the bell, and rings it. The construction worker, who definitely has the intelligence of the Boom villagers but leave him alone lmao, tells the Chaotix not to enter the construction site while he's on break.
"We wouldn't dream of it!" Vector promises. The construction worker leaves, Espio reappears, there's a beat...
And then the Chaotix march straight through the construction zone.
They get to Miss Vanilla's house... And I'm gonna stop there. We've learned the bare bones mechanics of how we would get through this game. Everything else would be taking what we understand and making us combine it. If you want an example of a more complicated puzzle, let me know, I could revisit the one I explained AGES ago where we "convince" Knuckles to hand over a Chaos Emerald.

If the writers had successfully developed Ironwood into a villain, the storyline still would have faltered because, with the heroes 100% secure in their choices and the enemy vulnerable about theirs, they, no matter how bad, will always feel easier to connect and empathise with because they feel more human compared to the heroes. Ironwood assures not!Penny she's doing the right thing. Ironwood pleads with Winter. Ironwood tears up. The heroes just tell themselves that they made the right choice.
Yeah, RWBY has a lot going on, including a lot of problems, so fixing one aspect, even a big one, isn't going to fix everything else too... but it would certainly help lol.
For me, the most frustrating thing about these later volumes is that the writing gets so close to letting the cast be flawed, complex, relatable heroes, but then continually pulls back at the last moment. Ren calls the group out on their failures, but Yang and Jaune instantly dismiss them. Ruby has a breakdown about how her plan didn't work, but Yang instantly reassures her that they tried, so it's fine. May insists that they make a hard choice for once, but instead they remain in the mansion and the next time we see her, May has completely changed her tune, claiming that there's nothing more the heroes could have done. (With the problem always being that yes, there was a lot more the heroes could have done). And then we've got all the moments where the story doesn't overtly establish a problem, but hints at it strongly, so strongly that in any other show you'd be mocked for thinking it wouldn't be resolved. However, RWBY drops conflicts like hot potatoes. How will Weiss resolve her disagreement with Winter? She doesn't. How will Qrow grapple with his decisions that got Clover killed? He doesn't. How will Yang work through this nonexistent fight with Blake? She doesn't.
Yeah, it's easy to differentiate the good from the bad on the surface because Ruby sheds tears, gives passionate speeches, and Ironwood is, canonically, trying to bomb a city. It's only when you ask what Ruby is crying over, what the speeches lead to, and whether this sudden turn into villainy makes sense (it doesn't) that you might go, 'Hold on, I'm honestly feeling more sympathy for the bad guy legitimately grappling with his decisions, than the heroic girl confidently leading a kingdom to their doom.' RWBY doesn't let the heroes make mistakes anymore, which means that we don't get to read their emotions as anything other than righteous fury. No matter what the heroes say or do, the audience is supposed to respond with, "Yeah! You tell 'em!" which would get pretty old pretty fast even if I did legitimately have that response within the context of the events. But when it's stuff like, "Yeah, you attack that ally instead of sending Weiss to Atlas" or "Yeah, you lie to Ironwood, and Mantle, and the entirety of Remnant, just like Ozpin lied to you" or "Yeah, you strip Penny of her identity without her consent and then frame that as a marked improvement; the chance for her to finally be 'real'" it, uh... gets pretty hard to drum up the emotional response I know the story wants to invoke. Ironwood is a mess by the end of the series and no, I don't feel for the man who wants to kill a whole city for no apparent reason. I do, however, feel for the man who was driven to extremes due to outside forces, part of which came from people he thought he could trust, and from a meta perspective, the authors who gave up on his development halfway through, resulting in a 'genocidal general' that didn't make sense within the story.

you're my star; sunsun.
—"What are stars to you, then?" "You."
—inspired by the time sunoo asked sunghoon why he teases him so much.
—fluff, canon compliant, my love for riki shows | word count: 804
"Sunghoon hyung, what are stars to you?"
The innocent question put forth by the oh-so-innocent Sunoo, in the sense that he's rather optimistic and cheery in his view of the world, makes Sunghoon's heart nearly, a little too slow, skip a beat, as soon as he processes the question. It's because he'd just, a little less than a minute ago, been thinking about how Sunoo is like a star in the center of his universe.
Then again, it's sensible that they were having similar trains of thought. It's one of the nights after a music show appearance and they're too tired to do anything but too wired to sleep. At least, in the case of Sunoo, Ni-ki and Sunghoon. Ni-ki was playing his games for maybe half an hour, while Sunoo and Sunghoon watched, but then he conked out in the middle of a game and in his sleep, he looked so cute, curled up on the couch with a content expression, that they didn't have the heart to ask him to get up and go to bed.
So now it's just the two of them sitting by the window in the room they share with both Ni-ki and Jungwon. Their young leader's off visiting his parents for two days, without any show of it, and the sight of his clean, perfectly tidy bed makes Sunghoon miss the kid too much. He's really grown so attached to these idiots since debuting. Then again, he's always been fond of honest, blunt, down-to-earth, shy Jungwon. Him joining Big Hit Entertainment was a refreshing change from hyper-to-shy Heeseung and bold Jay.
And then there's Sunoo, the one who was different from everyone else right off the bat. Even as they sit here under the window, looking up at the extraordinarily clear, starlight-bright night sky, he thinks about how Sunoo would fit right up there with them. He's refreshing, in a way. Sunoo's bright and hyper in a different way from most others.
Sunoo talks a lot, and though Sunghoon acts annoyed by it, secretly, he can listen to the adorable boy talk on and on forever. Sunoo gets excited by the things he loves, even if it happens to be monstrosities like mint chocolate, and that's adorable. Most of all, he's unfailingly loyal and unswervingly sincere. Not to mention admirably brave, too.
Kim Sunoo is different from them; Kim Sunoo is beautiful in a different way. And for Sunghoon, a quiet, not so talkative boy, that's all it took for him to fall hard and fast—giving him new energy and happiness with every smile and laugh.
"I don't know," Sunghoon responds. "What are they to you, Sunoo-yah?"
"You do know," Sunoo accuses. His raven-dark hair seems to shine in combination of starlight, moonlight, and streetlight. It is, of course—but in a different way. Kim Sunoo does everything in his own way if he can help it, even if he's not exactly aware of what he's doing.
"Maybe I do," Sunghoon laughs. "Maybe I just want to hear what you think first."
"Fine," Sunoo grumps. That's another adorable thing about him—most of the time, if he's upset, he kind of pouts and sulks instead of getting angry. Of course, pissing him off is never a good idea. But he's adorable all the same. "Stars make me think of a very, how should I say...cliché sort of thing. Soulmates."
Sunghoon snorts. "Do you actually believe in all that crap?"
"No, but I like the idea of it!" Sunoo defends himself. "I mean...it's cute."
"Huh, you seem to think a lot of things are cute."
"Stop that!" he whines. "Why do you tease me so much?!"
"Sunoo-yah," Sunghoon says seriously, "teasing you is my joy."
"God, you're awful," Sunoo pouts. "So, what are stars to you, then?"
"You."
"W-what?" Sunoo blinks, a light color dusting his cheeks. "Stop messing around, really, hyung. It's not funny."
"I'm not messing around, I mean it," Sunghoon says, leaning his head against Sunoo's. They're sitting shoulder to shoulder on the floor, so it's easy. "To me, stars are symbolic of people we see as stars in real life. You're my star, because you shine so bright and, in a way that makes you seem like your fire will never burn out. And, well, it also gives me the energy and happiness I need."
He slides his hand across Sunoo's thighs to lace his fingers with the younger's, his open palm's fingers tucked between Sunoo's own from above. "Honestly, most of the time, a smile from you is all I need to start my day."
Sunoo laughs. "Sunghoon hyung, you're so cheesy," he says, placing his other hand on top of their intertwined ones. "I like this side of you."
"For you, it's going to stay right here. When we're alone, anyway."

2, 6, 7, 8, 14, 15, 18, 19 for Eddy (I know I'm too late, but I would like to know, please).
Thanks for the ask!!! No worries about it being late:) Good to chat (even if I talk a load of bologna 😁)
Under the cut
2.Favorite canon thing about this character?
Because I can't think of anything better right now, I'll say his seemingly vintage taste in music. Although maybe it ties in with everything he owns being vintage hand-me-downs. And on second thought, it's hard to say if Barry White and Tom Jones are supposed to be old-school in-universe, considering the kids' idea of party music is 60s surf rock haha.
6.What's something you have in common with this character?
You know, I always think I'm mostly an Ed and an Edd, but then I think "maybe we all have the three Eds deep down inside of us 😁" guess I sometimes like to imagine situations in which I could be a show off/be funny in front of an audience... A very Eddy desire.
7.What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?
I always love older fanart of him just having that slightly disheveled look and maybe smoking a cigarette, looking cool 😁 makes me imagine him with that slightly chiller demeanor (assuming he grows out some of his temper and controls his euphoria whenever he's got some big idea hehe)
8.What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
Boring answer, but like everyone else I have not much interest in negative adult Eddy portrayals where the creator blatantly doesn't take the BPS developments into account. Give this kid a chance for chrissakes! Thankfully this is limited to some more, ahem, 'casual' fans 👀
14. Fashion aesthetic for this character.
In my lack of fashion sense, I'm just gonna mention a picture in my mind...leather jacket? (Maybe because of @torra-and-the-toons 's design?) Coupled with worn baggy jeans...
And is it weird I can see Eddy looking good in that sweater/collar-shirt combo if he were to dress more elegant? I swear I've seen it somewhere in fanart. Or him just wearing a hoodie... Is there look Eddy can't pull off??? Talk about a stubby no-neck chump 😎
15. Favorite ship?
It's... EddEddy, isn't it. Interestingly, it was never my OTP, and I wasn't interested in it when I first got in the fandom, but I slowly made myself learn to appreciate it. Nowadays it's certainly a ship I "default" to with those two characters. On the other hand I once went through a KevEddy phase... I still have a soft spot for it (no doubt thanks to lovely fanart by @mar-saturn and @chocowhomps ). It's also very interesting to me that there's at least 3 people I know of currently in the fandom (or who were actively in the fandom in the last year or so) who managed to ship both EddEddy and KevEddy, mmm 🧐...
18. Relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?
First thing that comes to mind is his brief mentoring of Jimmy, even if it's a negative influence. "They grow up so fast... *dries tear*" And his one-on-one friendship with Ed is interesting to think about, especially how it might have started considering Edd supposedly came a little later in the picture (not by much though as they were still very young)
Also his crush on Nazz is kinda cute... I headcanon they'll be easy friends once they're a little older :)
19. Relationship they have in canon with another character that you don't like?
Honestly I'm stumped! Can't think of anyone right now haha. Maybe his disrespect of Rolf's culture/hospitality, if that's a thing? But I can't say if that's necessarily despicable or just part of the character's writing in certain episodes, or what.
Thanks for the ask again!

This is bleak, forgive me. But... Beyond AMC saying they hope to see Carol in the future in TWDU and N.R. saying Caryl may meet up again on Fallon show, and that Caryls story isn't over at SDCC, is there confirmation that Carol doesn't die in 11c? I'm increasingly worried that that is what is happening. Its hard for me to trust those statements as confirmation. AMC has lied about big things nobody thought they would lie about. And they could mean something like an episode on Tales, which could occur in the past. And what are they going to say, anyway, if they did kill her character off? They can't spoil it. They'd either have to avoid the questions altogether (as they're doing now) hedge, or lie. I think N.R. likely means 11c with his "story not over" comment. And who knows or can believe his statements on Fallon in the heat of the initial announcement fallout, when he also said Mcbride needed a break, which remains unconfirmed at best. The "heartbreaking" comment on TD and "emotional" time filming comment at SDCC doesn't necessarily point to bad things happening (I agree, could be very, very good), but also could signal very bad things. (Although his weird choice of "uplifting" to describe final episodes in interview after SDCC potentially mitigates that too). And its easy to see why Gimple would do it. They are known for shocking fans with unexpected and big deaths in years past. They are going to want big pathos, and at least one Glen-level or even bigger death in 11c, I would think. And aside from maybe Judith or Daryl himself (for many), the death of Carol would probably be the most shocking and emotionally devastating. I can also see the narrative irony in a character who has had such a death-wish in the past starting to come out of that and then promptly dying. In a way, she's more than prepared and has made foreshadowing comments on the show, like before the Find Me fight with the "lucks run out" comment. And many TWD fans still think Carol hasn't made up for actions in season 10 (imo, they're wrong that she needs to, but still). Her death, especially if it's a self-sacrificial or resulting from some equally noble act, would absolve her and serve as (totally unnecessary and undeserved) atonement. They have isolated her, relatively, in importance to most other characters accept Daryl, with death of last child and separation from Zeke finalized. And of course the big thing-- her death would cause Daryl immense pain, enough to retreat from the rest of the group like he does when he presumes Rick is dead- only this time on a mission to France in service of the group, who knows fuckall what for. And then AMC can make Caryl canon for two seconds in 11c before she dies, and say we gave you canon, and still have fans feel sorry for Daryl and his pain, and support his reinventing himself while running from fast walkers and dodging explosions on his bike in France, and probably seeking solace in one or more hot young things down the line in the series. It does not seem beyond Gimple to martyr the beloved female lead to achieve a 'blameless' and totally clean slate for the Daryl character, in order for him to do the TNT-style show he seems to want. I'd love, and I mean love, to have you or someone else put this possible theory to rest and out if my mind, with hard confirmation--- or at least some very persuasive rhetoric. ;)
I can write a whole essay on why it makes zero narrative sense for Carol to die and I will if that's the kind of persuasive rhetoric you're looking for. But if that feels too theoretical, there are bts photos that strongly suggest she makes it based on her hairstyle and wardrobe. *Maybe* there's an alt where she dies, but I think in the aftermath of all the spinoff drama, AMC has to know it'd be in their best interest to keep the possibility of seeing her again open.
