Hello, everyone! I came up with an ask game for shifters, so feel free to reblog it with your answers or have your friends/anons ask for a particular number for you to answer. You can also tag your friends, if you'd like.

As a disclaimer, some of these questions may be a bit personal, so do not feel obligated to answer if you don't feel like doing so.

Without further ado, let's get started!

1.) What do you always look forward to do the moment you wake up in your DR? And let's not get technical, I'm talking about what comes after meeting your basic needs like brushing your teeth, eating up, etc. What do you try to accomplish first?

2.) Can you describe your DR without giving it away? Try to if you can, and really, I mean try: don't say "I airbend in my DR" because then I could tell it's from the Avatar the Last Airbender franchise.

3.) Would you consider your DR popular or common? There's nothing wrong with it being so, I'm just curious. Again, try not to give away what your DR is; I like keeping the mystery from question two.

4.) Have you shifted to or thought of shifting to a waiting room reality? It's okay if you haven't or do not plan on doing so, but to those who have, what does it look like?

5.) Do you use a different name than the one you are given? Regardless of your answer, what is the reasoning for keeping that name?

6.) If you script, what's something unique you have scripted? By that I mean something that you have come up with yourself, ideally without influence from other shifters or manifestors.

7.) What's the funniest thing that has taken place or that you believe/know will take place in your DR?

8.) What type of aesthetic(s) do you like to embody while in your DR? Remember, we are multidimensional beings, so you do not have to feel obligated to remain faithful to one certain type of aesthetic (personally I find contradicting aesthetics really fun!).

9.) What songs do you associate with your DR? It can be in relation to you, people you know there, or certain moments that you are anticipating to take place in your DR. Feel free to share as many as you'd like!

10.) If you are comfortable sharing, what faith system are you operating from as a shifter? I am not here to question your beliefs; I just think it's cool to meet people from all walks of life.

11.) If you knew about shifting when you were younger, do you think you would have taken the chance to shift? If not, why? If so, where do you think you would have gone to?

12.) What online resources do you use to help you get in the mood for shifting? You can be as general as referring to pinterest, notion, picrew, etc. or you can drop links!

13.) Would you ever introduce the people in your DR to the idea of shifting?

14.) What do you want to be associated with? This could be in relation to themes/tropes, objects, animals, planets, fragrances, places, etc.

15.) If you have shifted to your DR, how did you come to know that you did? For example, was it something you saw that gave it away? Or did you hear a voice, or smelled something that you knew could not have belonged to the reality you shifted away from?

16.) If you haven't shifted to your DR yet, what has kept you from giving up on it? (And listen to me, if you are feeling particularly cynical or insecure: you are worthy, you are deserving, and most importantly, YOU HAVE DONE THIS BEFORE. You have shifted in happiness, in grief, in confusion, and in embarrassment. Your emotions do not impede on your ability to shift. Your thoughts do not impede on your ability to shift. I'm telling you, you have done this before and you'll do it again. Hell, you have shifted without even thinking about it! It can quite literally be effortless. I know it doesn't seem that way right now, but one day you're gonna look back on the time you read this and realize I was right. You didn't fall upon this idea of shifting upon mere chance. It is your birthright. And regardless of anything that may be considered an obstacle, you will achieve that which you seek. And really, think of what you have gone through up until this point and what has driven you to pursue this literal life-changing path. You owe it to yourself to not give up. Chin up, my friend! I have the utmost faith in you <3)

“I mean, I guess I like it when it's cloudy, maybe even a bit gray. It feels cozy, I guess. Especially if it's cold, because then you have an excuse to stay inside.”

“Probably Akash. He knows my secrets better than me.”

Have you ever broken a bone?

“There was a ramp up to the playground in kindergarten, and I slipped and broke my arm on the ramp. It was the day before the talent show, so I had to go on stage with a cast.

What's a childhood fear you had?

“I think it was...that I would one day find an evil clone of myself. Or a dark version of me. I guess it was all the cartoons I watched! (Laughs) I suppose those things happen a lot less in real life.”

What's in your pockets?

“My drumsticks. I developed a habit of twirling them when anxious or bored. Thankfully I've gotten boy's pants for years so I can have better pockets.”

“Saying I have a favorite food is ridiculous. It's food - if it's good, it's good. I guess anything my mom made. And I like to think my cooking is good. I like doing it at least. I couldn't pick a favorite.”

What’s the worst joke you’ve ever heard?

“Any that comes out of Robbie's mouth. (Pause) I think that was a little rude. Parker - he thinks he's a lot funnier than he is.”

If you could go anywhere in the world to visit, where would it be?

“I'd like to go wherever my dad is. Talk to him. See why he and my mom aren't together anymore.”

What do you do for work?

“Oh, I love my work. I have a doctorate in the power database. I run constant tests on DNA from different Alii to compare their genetic makeup so the database remains accurate and thorough. I make notes of trends among the abilities of different Levels, as well as noting the subpowers, and how those subpowers look on a genetic Level. I am currently working with my dear friend Carmen to study the long-term effects of Alii who grew up on Ceteri, and how their powers develop throughout their adolescence.”

How much sleep do you get?

(pause, rubs the back of his neck) “I do have insomnia, so I get a normal amount of sleep for that. I may take medication to fall asleep occasionally, but I am usually reading or running diagnostic tests.”

What’s your favourite animal?

“I am particularly fond of kitsunes and water foxes. I also always wanted a pet ferretsnake, as well.”

“Not check the bathroom stall lock in second grade. It's how I met Maddie though, so I'm grateful I did that. I also put on a handmade puppet play for my cousins a few years ago. Improvised the whole thing.”

“Maddie. And Hye-Jin. They've never stopped caring about me, even though they show it completely differently.”

🍄 - How did you get your system name?

Okay so technically a friend of ours thought of it.

But:

We've since extrapolated meaning from it that I will now share with you all.

For a little context: we grew up with musical theatre. We were majoring in it at university. And singing has always been important in our life. So in a general sense, we knew it had to be something surrounding that. Anyway,

I can't find it but we wrote a whole thing once about how

the concept of a songbook is a collection of a performer's go-to songs for auditions and such, and how some they may know much better than others, but they're all meaningful in some way to the performer, and each song helps showcase a different aspect of that person's abilities, and shows what they value and the versatility of the person. A performer will often take out old songs that no longer fit or serve them, and add new songs that they've only recently learned, but every song was once a part of the book. And I feel the same way about our system. We're all songs in the Songbook, and some of us are very new, and some of us have seen our worst and best moments. But we're all part of the same book, and we're all important for our own reasons.

That, and we've actually met and/or gotten to know a lot of headmates through singing.

While we were at school, we used to lock ourself in a practice room in the music building and do karaoke by ourself.

Specific songs had meaning/hit hard for some headmates, who would either have picked the song for that purpose, or have come to front during the song without even realizing. It's such a surreal experience.

🍐 - Are there any nonhuman headmates (in the system)?

Yes! Several! That number actually used to be much higher.

We've got a couple vampires, a couple werewolves, a couple introjects of dnd/LARP characters that are very unique (mostly elves but also some more obscure races). Uuummm... We have various magic users? Not sure if that counts... Some fae-adjacent people. A couple pure animals (A cat, a wolf, and a bird), a demon, a couple Time Lords, aaaaand whatever the hell Yakko Warner is.

💬 - Free space! Talk about anything!

OKAY SO

A number of us/our headmates have personal Spotify playlists and/or Pinterest boards. And I would absolutely love to link them for you if you want.

Also! We made a Google Slide Presentation about each of the headmates our friends were likely to meet!

Each headmate has 4 slides.

An Introductory Slide, containing basic information like name/pronouns as well as a little blurb about who they are/what they're like, and other info like system role, indicators when fronting, and likes and dislikes (sometimes containing positive/negative triggers).

A "faceclaim" Slide (we don't usually use the word faceclaim), which is covered in mostly Picrews or personal art of the headmate, to get a sense of what they look like.

An Aesthetics Slide, compiling a lot of stuff from their Pinterest board if they have one. Outfits and aesthetics indicative of their color pallete, Pinterest quotes, things of that nature.

Aaand a Miscellaneous Slide! Most of these are just a bunch of tumblr posts that "fit the vibe". Also other various memes, or pics dreamed "not sophisticated enough" for the Aesthetics Slide.

Another key feature of these slides is that everyone's slides are their favorite color, and the Introductory Slide is typed out in a font that either matches their vibes or is similar to their handwriting.

my excuse of invading ur inbox today is to tell u abt my tr ocs 😁😁 and we will be discussing three of them today!! (mind u i havent thought abt these kids since like end of last year so bare w me if there are any blanks left)

OK SO first oc’s name is haitani reiko. if u havent already noticed she is in fact a haitani 😭 her nickname is sleeping beauty bcuz for abt like 2-4 years she’d been in a coma n shit but during a battle the haitani brothers were in against another gang she had woken up 🤯 and as the good bros they are they immediately left the battle to see their sister. so its kind of a given that theyre a bit overprotective of their lil sis. but she doesnt like how her whole identity in the gang world is being the younger sister of the haitani brothers so she wants to go out n kinda create her own identity yk? she isnt rlly a fighter but she joins a few minor gangs to get her name around. and i dont rlly think im gonna write her in anything rn cuz her character is rlly weak. but here is an old fanart i did of her :3 (i do have a picrew of her that i’ll show u at the end of this ask <3)

next is i think my fav child, futamo aisume<3333 im not even gonna lie he was kind of a self insert oc but i still love him 😭 hez written as shion’s child hood best friend, having the nickname “the great’s shadow” so hez kind of the side guy that patches up shion when hez injured, but he can still fight. he was in tenjiku w shion but once they were defeated shion kinda just left him behind (also cuz he went to jail lol) so idk prob wakasa took in futamo and brought him into brahman. hez got a similar kind of loyalty as sanzu to mikey and koko n inui and hez rlly blunt. the black cat to shion’s golden retriever imo<333

and last but not least there’s takumi! ngl i kinda just doodled him a bit in an old notebook but i loveddddd him. hez basically just bonten’s bartender, the guy who deals with everyone’s worries n someone they all trust to vent to a lot. sometimes all of bonten go to visit him at once but most of the time they all just go for a quick drink by themselves. takumi’s closest to maybe ran ig? ran’s a bit of a flirt to everyone so hez naturally like that when he meets takumi, and like takumi was kinda just like this is kinda funny, i like this guy. so he kind of matches ran’s energy at a subtle level. i wanna say takumi is an ex gang member from like a different region but when he moved to tokyo and started looking for a job, he had his connections from the past that led him to bonten.

so yeah! a bit messy kinda made some stuff up on the spot but those r my ocs<3333 love them all v much and i miss them so much my ocs era was good. so so good. but here are their designs :3 (in order of reiko, aisume and takumi)

Guys, Gals Nonbinary pals (you know the reference) I have an idea

It came to me like a minute ago but still an idea

A day for Age regressors. listen if there's a Pizza day i mean,, we can have our own day right? Just a day for recognition, and while i know that some people will treat us the same they did before after that day, its still, a step in the right direction, for getting people to treat us nicely. Now personally i keep getting in with the right groups, but i know some people who have been treated like sh!t because there an age regressor, and honestly i want that to stop.

It's Our coping mechanism we shouldn't feel ashamed of it, just because someone sees it as something else.

So a day for Age Regressors, where we can be as loud or quiet as we want!

Heylo Tumblr! I've just had an idea!

Since pride month is coming up; and we know there are some people who might not be able to go to pride parades or any pride events; and We want to fix that!

The idea we've had will not be easy; at least i don't think so. But we would like to -with the help of others- host an online pride event! right here on tumblr!

The idea came to us as our host, Fire has not been able to go to any pride events within the past 2-3 years due to having an unsupportive family, and he's not the only one either.

So I was reading Chapter 3 of @laughingphoenixleader's fanfic Space Married?, which is awesome and I love it so much, but anyway, there was a moment where Kanan tells Hera that he worries about her sleeping schedule sometimes, to which she responds, "I abandoned a healthy sleeping schedule at age twelve as one of my first acts of rebellion against my father."

And because I used to spend a lot of time looking at memes, an idea got into my brain. Everything I just wrote is prelude to this:

Apparently, it wasn’t a very popular plan.

This is a story about crumbs and flickers and roots, running away and coming home; about falling in love without meaning to (twice), and having truly good friends, and the mutually revealing recognition between two people in love with the same man.

This is my first attempt at a single rec because it doesn’t feel quite adequate to just include Licurici in one of my usual rec lists. I don’t think a fic has occupied my mind so much since I read Grounds for Divorce by tepre, which is saying something. From the moment Lou first mentioned this fic was in the works I was already it’s #1 fan and was so greedy for any snippet that was posted on tumblr. And then when we started getting full chapters ohhh boy did Lou deliver! This incredibly heartwarming story will take you on a roller coaster of glorious pining and angst and tenderness and will leave you feeling like a puddle of goo on the floor. It left me completely unhinged and Lou probably thinks I am positively deranged after all my incoherent comments, tags, and tumblr posts. But it really is a perfectly paced journey full of carefully constructed character development with such a unique perspective that is so refreshing and creative. Not to mention the delicious smut, intriguing plot, and the OCs you will completely fall in love with! This story to me means warmth and comfort and home. Lou has a way of creating a dynamic between characters that is just unbelievably endearing. I am in awe of Lou’s genius and will continue to shout it from the rooftops any chance I get!

My #1 post of 2022

the joy surrounding ofmd is how the sherlock fandom should have been celebrating in 2017 and it will never not break my heart knowing we could have had that. i’ll never forget seeing my dash full of devastated people feeling like they were lied to and baited and made to feel like “who they really are doesn’t matter”. i saw people leave fandom or take long mental health breaks because of s4. yeah we like to poke fun at mofftiss but what they did affected people in a very real way. ofmd is affecting people in a very real way. idk it’s just so nice to see people rejoicing rather than feeling like they were slapped in the face. also mofftiss can suck it because just look at how many articles are talking about the numbers this new show is bringing in. i hope it stings.

This is originally a self insert ask game (found here) but I am impatient and love to gush about my ocs/inserts so I'm just making it an original text post about my gta v insert! :)

1. What is your s/i's name & pronouns? Because I'm completely unoriginal, I made my insert's name Natalie and have her go by she/her pronouns.

2. How similar is your s/i to you? We're pretty similar, but we do have some key differences! My insert's hair is a lot shorter than mine is in actuality, and she has a lot more body mods than I do. She also has some hobbies/talents that I don't, like candle making!

3. Does your s/i have a full backstory yet? I don't have a full backstory yet, but it's basically complete! What I have so far is that when she was 18, she went to college for a couple of years before suddenly dropping out and moving to Los Santos. She worked minimum wage jobs for a few years before turning an old beach front house into the shop she currently owns. That's about as much as I have for her past so far, I'm definitely going to work on it more!

4. How did your s/i feel when they first met your f/o? How do they feel about them now? When she first met Trevor, she found him to be frustrating. She thought he was hot headed, ill tempered, and too impulsive for her tastes. Now, they're closer than ever. She still thinks he's irrational and volatile, but he had to go and add handsome to the mix so now her feelings are all sorts of fucked up. Absolutely head over heels.

5. Do you speak about your s/i in first or third person? A bit of both! Sometimes I get embarrassed to talk about my s/i in the first person, so I usually switch up to third. But most times, I use first person since that's a lot easier than saying "my insert/my self insert" over and over again (I say that even though I've only used third person in regards to her in this entire text post lol)!

6. Has your s/i undergone any design/story changes since they were first made? Oh definitely! Very slight ones though, I added a body mod to her and changed how she got her store. As of now, that's it!

7. Give us 3 random facts about your s/i! I actually already made a post with some facts about my gta v s/i here, but I can give a few more! She's a Sagittarius, her guilty pleasure is cheesy/trashy top 40 songs, and she's an only child!

8. Does your s/i have any powers? No, since she's human.

9. Does your s/i have any hobbies that you don't have? She has a few! Like I mentioned before, she makes candles! She also loves to make bullet journals that she never uses.

10. How many s/i's do you have? Do you use the same s/i for multiple f/os or make completely different ones? All together, I have three s/i's. I usually only make one s/i for multiple f/os since I usually only have one romantic f/o and multiple platonic ones in media!

11. Does your s/i have one outfit they're always seen in or multiple? She has a go-to outfit, which is a black spaghetti strap camisole, oversized peach cardigan, pj pants/leggings, and boots. But I do like to make other outfits for her like the other gta characters, for example, she also likes to wear graphic tee shirts and plaid shirts.

12. Can we see a picture of your s/i? I have been meaning to draw her but I haven't gotten around to it yet, but I've made like a thousand picrews of her lol so here are two!

13. Would you ever want to cosplay as your s/i? Probably not since she pretty much dresses like me, so it wouldn't really make much of a cosplay!

14. Does your s/i get jealous easily? She likes to say that she doesn't, but she totally does! She's quite private about it, though.

15. Does your s/i interact with any other self shippers s/i's? Since I only have like two self shipping mutuals right now (and I don't think they self ship in the gta universe), no. I've also been self shipping privately for so long that I don't really see my characters interacting with other original characters/inserts, but I wouldn't be opposed to it! :)

Nobody’s gonna see this but here’s another loredump on my daydream characters, this time it’s a story within a story, as i have a made up band called fluoride stare, who make music more as soundtracks to movies they record than standalone albums and one of the, is a straight up self insert and has my name and pronouns but functionally they are not me. This is the second one i made up but chronological for them it’s the first one

The movie itself is called Starflesh, it’s about 4 people who ran a photography blog together, they were always interested in capturing the paranormal (you know what i mean, ufo hunter type beat) which brought them to Grandpine, a small town, most of which is taken up by a thick forest. Some of the residents had brought in reports of paranormal activity while out hunting, going for a walk etc. the actual living area of the town was so small they didn’t have their own police station, rather they relied on the police of the neighboring town, who obviously didn’t really care about a few paranoid people who lived in a whole separate town, so the problem was being mostly ignored, until one day, through a Facebook post from one of the residents, our protagonists learned about a non-deerlike deer, whatever that meant, any normal person would’ve scrolled past it but they were completely enamoured by the story, they immediately tried to contact this man and interview him for their blog. He told them about how when he went hunting the other day, he had seen a relatively small and weak looking buck, just as he came closer to it, he stopped, he noticed how the animal was moving in an almost unnatural way, flopping around and hitting its body on trees, it’s eyes were milky white, when he let off a warning shot in the animals direction, it didn’t even flinch, it was totally unfazed, a normal deer would have ran away by that point, he was unsettled and ended his hunt early that day, he insisted the animal couldn’t have been sick, there was definitely something else up with it, and he didn’t want to find out what.

Captured by the story the protags decide this would be a great opportunity for their blog, and practically shaking with excitement, they went on a 3 hour trip, to see the creature for themselves, but little did they know what they’d find in those woods, would be much greater of a mystery than just an oddly acting animal

This is about time i introduce them, as always using picrews because i can’t draw

Salem/Sal (character he’s played by is named Adam bc as i said story within a story). He has a tendency of not taking things seriously enough when he has to but it also helps him keep his cool in stressful situations.

Rose (played by Laura) she’s loud and enthusiastic but also loses her temper quickly.

Clayton/Clay (played by Charles) can a guy be a mom friend? Is that a dad friend? A dad friend feels like a different thing. Anyway he’s very protective of the group and pretty much the general voice of reason here

Bianca (this is the self insert i mentioned)

Long story short because i gotta go to bed they end up cursed and unable to leave the woods, there’s different scary monsters. each time they die they’re reborn but their previous bodies stay as they were so if they become undead now they have to deal with extra monster creatures and the only way to free themselves is to get to the root of the cause of why all these creatures are appearing and stop it. I might post more about them but for now that’s it

Yeah, I love Mystic, but it was hard keep up with them хд

Well, what's their name? Do you have any pictures of them? Do you ship them with everyone bros or not? Aaaaand maybe a few facts about them :3

Did you write their story before Devildom? I always find it hard and just make a little episodes sometimes

Oh okay, I don't think I've ever really spoken about my MC in detail to anyone before

But I write fics about unnamed gender neutral MC x Mammon (I've posted 18 so far) and because it's hard to write MC with no actual consistent example in mind I base them off my particular MC and because of that a lot of my MC's backstory and attributes are derived from whatever snippets of information canon gives us?

This got really long cause I started writing out all my theories for OM's general MC... oops?

1. Their name is Eliza and they will tell you that it stands for "A-Lizard" because that's the truth (I had a little rubber Lizard stuck to my wall when I was trying to think of a name for MC and that's honestly where the name came from. My The Arcana MC is Len cause I had a Lenovo laptop in front of me at the time...)

2. My art skills more or less suck BUT there's this picrew that lowkey resembles some of the devilgram art styles?

Here it is (if anyone uses it @ me? cause I wanna see more MCs....)

but no wait, do I get a pic of your MC too?

3. Just with Mammon, they were lowkey interested in Lucifer at the beginning but with the way things fell into place they quickly changed track

4. OKAY facts (so like I said most of these are derived from actual parts of the game that I just theorised and expanded on):

a.) They're a wildlife photographer

• You know all those professional photographs on Devilgram that are taken from a weird angle and by a third party

• You know how in a lot of those pictures the brothers are giving heart eyes at the camera

• Well yeah...that's the reasoning behind this

• Plus a wildlife photographer needs to have an incredible amount of patience and the ability to stay calm and general MC has both of those

b.) They have chronic pain

• The lady on the train in S1 (Gisella ?) told MC that you never forget dying which feels very forshadowy

• And MC died a pretty painful and violent death

• The pain is mostly lowkey (because even though they - the alive MC - is the one that got attacked it was past MC that died so I imagine the pain would be somewhat muted) but there are days it flares up and it's on these days that Eliza avoids Belphie, and these days when Belphie has learnt to avoid them too

c.) They don't have an actual stable job and work small things while trying to find work in their actual field

• The fact that MC was looking for a job, as a babysitter, at the beginning of S3 and are upset when they aren't paid at the end of S3

• Both Asmo and Beel note that MC loses weight between the times where they separate and are reunited

d.) They don't have a family in the human world + they're the last in Lilith's line of descendents

• How ready MC always is to drop everything and go live with the brothers

• How in S1 when they go to London Lucifer asks if MC was hoping to get in contact with their family and they say no

• How readily MC accepts the brothers as their family in S2 and how happy they were when Lucifer gives them a key to the HoL, how they were willing to run away with the brothers at the end of S2 and never go back to the Human World and even pleaded with Diavolo to let them stay and how they call the brothers their family multiple times and in S3 they are 100% willing to officially join them

• If there were more people with Lilith's genes/magic I think they would have been worth mentioning? I mean ik OM! wouldn't because this is MC's story but realistically they would have been worth mentioning so I figured might as well make 'em the last in the line.

- The way I see it Lilith's magic travelled from person to person as she tried to find a way to see her brothers again. When a child was born the magic would leak into them over the years and the parent (Lilith's previous descendent) would get subsequently weaker until all the magic was transferred and Lilith's fragment of a soul was anchored to the child and the parent would pass away.

- Eliza's mother was an artist (I believe the creators wanted to make MC's mother an artist too?) who died when they were around nine and their father dipped even before they were born. They were bounced around from foster home to foster home and that's why they're so obsessed with having a real family and why even when they barely knew the brothers they were determined to help fix their family because they saw what the brothers could be and how they had something Eliza's always wanted but never had and yet how they're letting it all fall into ruins.

e.) It's questionable if they're fully human

• In a devilgram of Belphie's after Lucifer locks him in the attic Lucifer tells him that even if Belphie was able to call out to the Human exchange student in their dreams and get them up the stairs the room itself was charmed so that humans couldn't see it (I don't know if I'm remembering this wrong but to was something to that effect). In S1 Belphie tells MC that the stairs to the attic are charmed so that demons can't climb them. MC has no problem climbing the stairs and seeing the room but they're also definitely not an angel

• In S2 when MC starts using the pacts to make the brothers stop fighting they are able to command all the brothers in one fell swoop without feeling any sort of adverse effects or any difference at all really. Solomon is surprised by this and says the first time he used the pacts he felt like he might die

• In S3 even after MC identifies themself as a human to angel Lucifer he's still skeptical and doesn't seem to believe them, saying something along the lines of how he doesn't know what they are and he has a similar reaction if they try to identify themselves as an angel or demon, whereas he immediately identified Satan as a demon

- I think this is because Lilith was never fully an angel or a demon when she died and was reincarnated as a human. At that point she had fallen - so she was no longer an angel. But she hadn't turned into a demon - so she wasn't a real demon. She was stuck between the two when her soul was reincarnated. The soul of a literal Fallen Angel in the body of a human and this unique new kind of magic is what has been passing down the generations

- Some irl stories refer to Lilith as the mother of monsters/demons and so yeah

f.) Eliza wears binders in S1 but gets top surgery between S1 and S2

- This has no basis in the actual OM! canon (obviously) just that being part of a family in s1 helped them a lot and they started leaving behind their more guarded personality (this part is actually something Lucifer notes in early S2) and expressing themself more. Midway through S1 they also start getting unusually lucky with money so that helps. Through S2 & S3 they start straying away from wearing exclusively jeans and oversized hoodies, wearing clothes that even reveal more skin or even clothes that are considered as stereotypically "feminine" that they usually stayed far away from (though they still default to more gender neutral clothes and they always have a hoody on hand) and even growing out their hair on occasion instead of cutting it the second it grows an inch too long (they still cut it real short at the end but sometimes they even let it grow enough to be able to properly tie it up before they think it's time to cut it). Just like with general MC they become more outspoken and emotive after S1 and part of the reason for this with Eliza is that they feel more comfortable with themself and their body and finally having a group of people who love you to death and back and support you no matter what helped with that a lot

5. I do have an idea of their story from before the Devildom. I'm pretty sure I mentioned all of it up there ^ I usually really find it hard too (none of my other MCs from games have proper backstories) but Eliza's came easily to me when I just took minor details from the game and built it up from there

Okay so this got much longer that I realised but this is the first time I've spoken so much about them and I got excited? I'd love to hear more about everyone else's MCs too!!!

Hold on - Chord Overstreet, it’s sad and I’m a sucker for sad songs.

Clocks - Coldplay, one of my fave songs from them just because of the piano riff. It’s actually one of the first songs that motivated me to learn to play piano, so it has a special place in my heart.

Youth - Daughter, always makes me feel a certain way so I adore it.

Marvin’s Room - Drake, sad and made me see Drake in a different light the whole album did I love.

Photograph - Ed Sheeran, this just makes me reminiscent of the past I love everything about it.

Iris - goo goo dolls, I find myself always going back to this song also love the lyrics and guitar in it.

All the stars - Kendrick Lamar & SZA, was obsessed with this song when black Panther came out the visuals and vibe was something else. I still love it a lot.

let's get to know our Animanga Fandom mutuals/followers better?

01. how did you find out about anime? I would watch Dragon Ball Z as a child with my older brother in the very early 00’s. It was what we bonded over and everyone at primary school would talk about dragon ball. I was so young then but I remember glimpses. Around this time I also remember getting into Sailor Moon as well.

02. What’s your favourite anime? As much as I have my ups and downs with the final arc I would say Shingeki no Kyojin. I adored the plot twists, suspense, story, thrill, sadness, the emotional journey, character growth and arcs, honestly it’s a great ride. And I still wholly love Levi, Eren, Erwin and co. It was fascinating to see their motivations, journeys (and not always agreeing lol). I also really love fma brotherhood, still have a soft spot for the Dragonball franchise too.

03. Do you have a favourite J-music/k-pop group/singer? Ahhh I adore Hiroyuki Sawano <3 and Yiruma.

04. When is your birthday? And how old are you? May 11th, 27

05. Currently, what is your favourite fandom anime? Idk I guess Shingeki, but it’s more of me engaging with a smaller selection of people. I also like talking about bnha, jjk and kny from time to time. Larger fandoms in general tend to be messy imo.

06. Despite the ups and downs of tumblr, what motivates you to stay here today and do your best? Honestly it’s nice seeing so many talented people and creations here I’m always in awe. And even sharing my own when I feel up for it. And honestly despite that yes tumblr doesn’t feel as lively as other social media, but there is a general respect for content creators on here compared to other platforms. Also there’s always super nice and supportive people on here.
